4. FUMA Vs Gaia Hox
5. Union MAX Title: Minoru Fujita (c) Vs Takumi Tsukamoto
Gaia Hox is getting a big match against FUMA.
First it was Judomaster who appeared in the BASARA ring to learn pro wrestling. Now a masked man by the name of Karate Master has shown up looking to do the same. It’s a good thing too because Ryuichi Sekine slept through the last show and BASARA needed a last second replacement when they couldn’t find him.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’24”, 20/07/2024 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. Yuki Kamifuku Vs Nao Kakuta
2. Special Single Match: Aja Kong Vs Shoko Nakajima
3. Princess Tag Team Titles: Suzume & Arisu Endo (c) Vs Yuki Arai & Moka Miyamoto
4. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi
The contracts for the two title matches at Korakuen Hall have been signed. We also got to hear about how Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi are preparing for the Princess Of Princess Title match. Tatsumi is feeling confident because she has never lost to Watanabe previously. She often has a strategy for her matches. It’s just that once the bell rings, all of that strategy goes out the window and Tatsumi doesn’t realize what she is doing. That may explain her habit of strangling her opponents during matches. Watanabe understands that kind of creativity when she is next to Tatsumi but could never recreate it by herself. She thinks the key to finally beating Tatsumi will be a sudden burst of emotion that happens in the moment.
When Yuki Arai heard that Moka Miyamoto wanted to challenge Daisy Monkey for the Princess Tag Team Titles she offered to be her partner. It wasn’t that long ago when Arai said she was considering fighting for another championship before her next International Princess Title defence takes place. So the timing of Miyamoto looking for a tag title shot couldn’t have been better. It’s not a random pairing either. Arai & Miyamoto entered the 2022 Max Heart Tournament as a team and even defeated Daisy Monkey in the 2nd Round! Suzume & Arisu Endo both remember that loss and would love to get revenge.
BASARA “BASARA 254 ~ICHIMIDOUSHIN~”, 04/08/2024 Tokyo Korakuen Hall

2. Hyper Misao & Miu Watanabe defeated Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu when Misao pinned Harajuku with the Hypami Returns (11:05).
3. 3 Way Match: Rika Tatsumi defeated Nao Kakuta and Haruna Neko when Tatsumi submitted Neko with the Dragon Sleeper (10:07).

5. Princess Tag Team Titles Next Challenger Decision Match: Suzume & Arisu Endo defeated Yuki Arai & Moka Miyamoto when Suzume pinned Arai with the Ring A Bell (12:42).
6. Nodoka Tenma Graduation Match: Shoko Nakajima & Miyu Yamashita defeated Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino when Nakajima pinned Tenma with the Diving Senton (20:27).
Today Tokyo Joshi Pro bid farewell to Nodoka Tenma. Her final pro wrestling match was obviously the final time The Bakuretsu Sisters were teaming together too. They had to take on the top two wrestlers in TJPW Shoko Nakajima & Miyu Yamashita. Tenma extinguished her big moves but the Bakuretsu Bulldog and the Back Flip could not get her the win. Instead Nakajima gave Tenma the Northern Lights Suplex and Yamashita followed it with the Skull Kick. Tenma was on the verge of being counted out but Nakajima stopped the referee so she could give Tenma a hug. She then gave her a DDT and hit the Diving Senton to pin her.
After the match Nakajima told Tenma that when they walk the same path they are teammates but when they walk different paths at the same time they are friends. Yamashita told her to keep watching TJPW while she is working on her farm and in return she will visit her to see it someday. Tenma asked everyone to take care of Yuki Aino for her but Aino said she won’t be on her own here without her. Aino gets inspiration from watching Yamashita and Nakajima lead TJPW that she now wants to be the leader too. She challenged Nakajima for the Princess Of Princess Title on 9th April!
Tenma’s graduation ceremony was slightly delayed when Hyper Misao and Pom Harajuku took Tetsuya Koda hostage. Misao said she never gave her approval for Tenma to graduate and she threatened Koda’s life if Tenma won’t change her mind. Tenma simply thanked Koda. Misao had to accept her decision but convinced her to take everyone’s signature moves one by one for the last time. Even Sayuri Namba got involved in the beating against her will. It ended with the entire roster all piling on top of Tenma for one final three count on her. The proper ceremony then took place with everyone saying their goodbyes to Tenma. She gave a speech telling stories about her time with the roster, a supporter of her class who passed away during the Covid pandemic and also her late grandfather. She ended by saying she wants to live a life with no regrets and that her time here is something she will treasure for the rest of her life.
Arisuzu are the No. 1 Contenders for the Princess Tag Team Titles. They earned the title shot by beating MokaYuki when Suzume pinned Yuki Arai. The result is revenge for their previous match from the Max Heart Tournament. Arai is disappointed but still wants to aim for the titles with Moka Miyamoto as her tag partner. Suzume called The Magical Sugar Rabbits into the ring afterward and told them she wants to see the sparkling world that they see. Arisu Endo said they have grown a lot more than they think so they want to make the belts theirs. Yuka Sakazaki agrees the team has grown but also thinks they still have a long way to go. They will have to show more or else they will never become champions. Mizuki warned that their world is more than just sparkles. When you enter it you will see what lies ahead for Tokyo Joshi Pro!

6. DDT Extreme Title – O-Back Ladder Match: Yuki “Sexy” Iino (c) Vs Shunma Katsumata
7. DDT Universal Title: MAO (c) Vs Michael Nakazawa
A new KO-D Openweight Title belt will be unveiled and presented to the new champion Tetsuya Endo at the show. He has not seen the new design yet and is looking forward to finding out for himself when it is given to him at the show.
Two days after the Sumo Hall show and MAO has figured out how Michael Nakazawa tricked him into giving him a DDT Universal Title shot. When Nakazawa flashed him the AEW logo on his shirt, MAO was fooled into thinking he would be fighting one of the big stars. Today at a press conference MAO showed regret at making the match and asked to make it non-title. Nakazawa explained he is part of The Elite and beating him will open up a path for MAO to wrestle against the other more stronger members. MAO lit up at the idea of fighting The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega so he signed the contract for the match. Nakazawa then gave MAO a Low Blow and admitted it is all a trick so he can get the title shot. He revealed he needs to win the championship so he can bring it back to America and keep his AEW career alive because he is currently in limbo while Omega is out injured.
The DDT Extreme Title match is now an O-Back Ladder Match. The O-Back is the kind of jock strap Yuki Iino always wears underneath his gear for his matches. He originally wanted the rule to be both he and Shunma Katsumata had to wear an O-Back while they wrestled. Katsumata refused and came up with the idea to make it a Ladder Match where whoever grabs the O-Back hanging above the ring and puts it on first will be the winner. However extra negotiations with Iino and Danshoku Dieno added another way to win. The match can also end if either wrestler decides to give up.
DDT “APRIL FOOL 22”, 10/04/2022 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki, Minoru Fujita & MJ Paul
2. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi (c) Vs Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya
The new KO-D Tag Team Champions have two big burly wrestlers to deal with in their first defence. Yukio Naya thinks his team with Yuji Hino has made him a far more confident pro wrestler, which Hino agrees with. Masahiro Takanashi joked that he would rather defend the Asia Dream Tag Team Titles against them inside Ichigaya Chocolate Square instead because there would be no room for the both of them. I don’t know if Chris Brookes can squeeze either of them through the window though.
DDT “MEGA MAX BUMP 2022 TOUR IN YOKOHAMA”, 01/05/2022 Yokohama Budokan
1. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs X
Endo said his first challenger should be somebody who is confident they can go above and beyond. He does not want to nominate a challenger himself. He would rather someone suitable come forward and make the challenge to him. It is a clear goal Endo has come up with for this title run to be different from Konosuke Takeshita’s reign. When he won the main event on Sunday, Endo said he never saw Jun Akiyama smiling so happily. BURNING has only just started so Endo wants the KO-D Title to help make the unit bigger and better.
The Youtube channels are ramping up the match uploads a lot lately. Today I noticed Tokyo Joshi Pro ended up putting up their entire 29th January show match by match out of order. So I decided to gather them altogether in one post and delete the earlier single entries to free up some page space. I don’t want entire pages of this blog to get clogged up with videos.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2022 WINTER”, 29/01/2022 Shinjuku FACE 237 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House
1. Yuka Sakazaki defeated Mahiro Kiryu with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster (11:43).
2. Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao & Marika Kobashi defeated Suzume, Arisu Endo & Kaya Toribami when Nakajima pinned Endo with the Northern Lights Suplex (11:45).
3. 3 Way Match: Mizuki defeated Nao Kakuta and Pom Harajuku when Mizuki pinned Harajuku with the Kyururindon! (7:19).
4. Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh defeated Hikari Noa & Haruna Neko when Yamashita pinned Neko with the Attitude Adjustment (12:03).
5. 2nd “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Semi-Final: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe defeated Moka Miyamoto & Yuki Arai when Watanabe pinned Miyamoto with the Tear Drop (15:25).
6. 2nd “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Semi-Final: Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Yuki Kamifuku & Asuka when Aino pinned Kamifuku after the Bakuretsu Bulldog (15:39).
There are only so many matches left for The Bakuretsu Sisters before Nodoka Tenma graduates from Tokyo Joshi Pro this March. The team may be coming to an end soon but they can win the Max Heart Tournament in their final weeks together. VENYU couldn’t knock them out in the semi-final today. Tenma put Asuka out with the Killswitch, Yuki Aino gave Yuki Kamifuku the Side Suplex and together the Sisters hit the Bakuretsu Bulldog on Kamifuku for the win. They said they have come this far so they have no choice but to win the whole thing. Kamifuku was disappointed to lose but Asuka assured her their tournament run was not a disaster in the least.
The MokaYuki Cinderella run was all a dream. A Daydream that is! Eh? Eh? A lot of attention in the tournament was given to the Moka Miyamoto & Yuki Arai pairing but it all came to an end today. Arai put all the credit on Miyamoto for getting the team this far. Miyamoto however was more upset over the result and blamed the loss on herself. Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe move on to the final.
The final on 11th February is now between Daydream and The Bakuretsu Sisters. Much like what the Sisters said above, Daydream aren’t afraid because they made it to the final by beating Kyoraku Kyomei and now MokaYuki. Both teams were complimentary to each other to close out the show.
Pom Harajuku tried to disguise herself as a ringside second for the 3 Way Match so would be ignored. Her disguise was just a large piece of paper on her back with “I Am A Second” written on it. Mizuki and Nao Kakuta didn’t fall for it and they dragged her back into the match.
In the opening match, Yuka Sakazaki got annoyed from seeing so many Yuki Arai shirts in the audience. She took her frustration out on Mahiro Kiryu, who complained to the referee about fouls being committed. Sakazaki then brought a chair into the ring and when they fought over it, the ref got knocked out by accident. Sakazaki then accidentally hit herself when she missed a swing and the chair bounced off the rope back into her face. Kiryu was falsely caught with the chair when the ref got back up and the match went back to normal.
Miyu Yamashita Vs Marika Kobashi was announced for the 5th February show in Yokohama. It will be Kobashi’s final match in her home region before she graduates in April.
There was no Up Up Girls performance to open the show because of Raku’s absence.

The Max Heart Tournament is down to four teams with some heavy hitters taken out in the process. Daydream eliminated Kyoraku Kyomei in the main event. Rika Tatsumi is now confident that she & Miu Watanabe will win the tournament because they defeated the team that beat The Magical Sugar Rabbits in Round 1. Hyper Misao blames herself for losing today but Shoko Nakajima consoled her over it.
VENYU continue to be an unexpectedly powerful force by knocking out 121000000. The two singles champions of Tokyo Joshi Pro are now eliminated! Asuka and Miyu Yamashita took each other out with a Spin Kick Vs Skull Kick exchange. That left Yuki Kamifuku to take the pin after giving Maki Itoh the Famouser. Asuka was satisfied by the match. She pointed out she didn’t get to wrestle Itoh in AEW and she knew the fans wanted to see it. She was also happy to finally wrestle Yamashita. Itoh is taking the loss in her stride and clearly sees what is in her future. Kamifuku got her attention.
Never count out The Bakuretsu Sisters, even when the team is entering its twilight period. It’s their last tournament together so Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino are doing their best, beating Free WiFi as they head into the semi-finals. Tenma says they don’t need to use Free WiFi because she’s got a fixed line at home. Nao Kakuta still thinks she did well with Hikari Noa and wants them to get stronger together so they can challenge for the Princess Tag Team Titles.
The Cinderella team of the tournament turned out to be MokaYuki. A Full Nelson Buster from Yuki Arai kept Suzume down so Moka Miyamoto could make Arisu Endo submit to the Rashomon. Arai was amazed by the result because Arisuzu are a more organised team compared to their classmates. They are now carrying a lot of momentum into the next round.
The semi-final draw was held at the end of the show. All the remaining teams grabbed a piece of paper and the teams with the same colours will face each other. So on 29th January we are getting Daydream Vs MokaYuki and The Bakuretsu Sisters Vs VENYU!
Sayuri Namba was absent from the show after she tested positive for covid. Big Japan’s usual ring announcer Yuji Shindo filled in for her and Yuki Aino helped him through the opening announcements.
Yesterday Prestige Wrestling announced they have begun a working relationship with Tokyo Joshi Pro. They tweeted “Over the coming months & years we will bring many of their top stars to the United States!” Prestige has been around since 2017 but had not run any shows since 2019 because of the pandemic. 2022 is their re-launch and they have several shows booked in Oregon and California throughout springtime.
I don’t have much thought on this at the moment. The gap of time between Prestige’s last show to now is long enough that this may as well be a brand new indie so I have no idea what matches to think could happen. At least it’s a potential sign of international travel opening up for the TJPW roster and there might be more work in America available for them than just AEW. Fingers crossed it works out for both sides if it goes ahead.
