The originally planned KO-D Openweight Title match main event has been scrapped because KUDO lost his Right To Challenge Contract to Daisuke Sasaki. KUDO was going to cash in his title shot on this show. Sasaki shows no signs of doing the same, instead he is trying to win every single contract available. I’m not even sure if it’s supposed to be the ultimate insurance policy and not just Sasaki turning into an obsessive hoarder.

But he has just the guy to help him fight Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi strength for strength. Shuji Ishikawa has a lot of history with Sekimoto in both Big Japan and Union. He has also defeated Okabayashi one on on back in February.
