In his third attempt, Takumi Tsukamoto has become the new Union MAX Champion! After the match the former champion Fuminori Abe admitted he never felt more frustrated after a loss. He was able to do so much as the MAX Champion and it today he was reminded there is somebody out there stronger than him. He remembered when he won the title from Masahiro Takanashi under unfortunate circumstances. The BASARA fans still supported him and still treated him like a deserving champion. He knows they will continue to support him so he will be 100 million times stronger when he fights Tsukamoto again in order to win the belt back! Tsukamoto said that BASARA is just about to become 5 years old. It is still an immature and developing promotion just like he is still an immature and developing human being. He burst into tears from the crowd cheering him and joked about being a crybaby. He promised to devote himself to being Takumi Tsukamoto in order to get even more stronger.

One of the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT semi-finals is set. IRON PRIEST will take on Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura for a spot in the final on 7th December. It is the rematch of last year’s final and Shimomura wants revenge!

In the week leading up to the show, FUMA announced the Iron Family was disbanding and a new unit will replace it. The new unit is called Asian Kung Fu Revolution because the roots of both yoga and heavy metal can be found in Asia. FUMA, Yusuke Kubo, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato are the members of this group.

The 4th edition of the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT will take place throughout the remaining months of the year. Last year’s tournament crowned the first IRON FIST TAG Champions. The mystery partners have been revealed. Miyu Yamashita is tagging with Aja Kong while Sareee returns to Tokyo Joshi Pro to be on Maki Itoh’s team. Kong has had several confrontations with Itoh in the pas but Itoh said her only focus is to beat Yamashita. Sareee was on the 4th January show then signed with WWE a month later. She’s been unable to leave Japan because of the Coronavirus so she got permission to continue wrestling in her home country until she is safely able to report to the WWE Performance Centre. In fact her company affiliation in this match is WWE Count Down. This is to show she is not yet fully a part of WWE but she is not freelance either.

Mizuki has named her new Spinning Cross Body move the Whirling Candy.

Daichi Kazato fought using the power of Best Stretchman V3 but it wasn’t enough to defeat Speed Of Sounds. After the match, Kazato announced he was retiring the Best Stretchman gimmick. He asked Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and FUMA if they could all be in the same unit together because they have known each other going all the way back to their days in Union Pro. FUMA isn’t sure if that would be the right choice for Kazato. He wants to see what Kazato has got first before The Iron Family makes their decision.

Takumi Tsukamoto became the No. 1 Contender and will get a Union MAX Title shot on 10th November. Fuminori Abe has never beaten Tsukamoto but he is confident he will make him submit. Tsukamoto told him he has never given up anything in his life. Abe promised to take Tsukamoto’s “give up virginity” on 10th November.

The 2020 IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT will take place in November and December. Round 1 will take place on the 10th and 14th November. The semi finals will be on 7th December and the final will be on 22nd December. The winning team will challenge Speed Of Sounds for the IRON FIST TAG Titles at a later date.

Chris Brookes defended the DDT UNIVERSAL Title against one half of Nautilus so now he takes on the other half. Yuki Ueno took offence to Brookes calling Naomi Yoshimura weak after beating him. Ueno then took more offence when Brookes suggested he is weaker than Yoshimura. He wants to shut Brookes up and take his title. Might even end up becoming a triple crown champion along with the two tag titles when all is said and done

The motivation levels for Akito and Danshoku Dieno seem to be going in opposite directions this year. Akito’s has been rising to the point where he became a Vice President of CyberFight. Dieno is still able to come up with ideas but has he passed his creative peak? A match between the two will provide a barometer for where both will stand in DDT.

The participants for the 2021 D-Ou Grand Prix will be revealed on this show.

Saki Akai only wrestles in Tokyo Joshi Pro once or twice a year because DDT is her priority. For her 2020 appearance she will face Hyper Misao in a first time singles meeting. They were on opposite sides of a tag match once in 2015 but I think that may have been retconned into Akai getting replaced by Sakisama for some reason. Oh and there was also the storyline with that Saki Akamiya girl. Whatever happened to her? But enough about that.

Yuna Manase will be on the show. This will be her first appearance in Tokyo Joshi since leaving the promotion back in July. Look at her getting to wrestle everywhere!

There is a late change in tomorrow’s big match. Yuki Kamifuku broke the ring finger on her right hand and will not be able to wrestle for around three weeks. Under doctor’s recommendation she has pulled out of the main event. Kamifuku is aiming to return on 17th October. Mahiro Kiryu was going to remove herself from the match because of this but Kamifuku convinced her not to waste the opportunity she made for herself. Kiryu agreed and nominated Pom Harajuku to be her new tag partner. Both Daydream and The Bakuretsu Sisters gave their approval for the math to go ahead.

Marika Kobashi’s return match involves her former tag partner from the JK Strikers. However Miyu Yamashita is not on her team, instead they are against each other.

The next pair are Manami Arai & Konatsu Furukawa from The Up Up Girls (the group the Pro Wrestling ones are spun off of). The final pair are Sakura Takamiya & Kaori Naruse from //Necopla//. The three pairs will be assigned a different team to cheer on before the match starts.

Two new challengers emerge for the Union MAX Title. The champion Fuminori Abe doesn’t want to defend the belt in a 3 Way so Takumi Tsukamoto and Masato Kamino will fight over the No. 1 Contendership instead. Tsukamoto has a pretty strong string of results since BASARA has been running shows again. Kamino has begun winning matches too but the opponents he has beaten so far do not give him the rub to challenge the champion straight away.

1. FUMA defeated Tetsuo Usui with a Stretch Muffler (7:37).
2. Takumi Tsukamoto & Masato Kamino defeated Takato Nakano & Yasu Urano when Kamino pinned Nakano with the Lariat (11:28).
3. Takuya Nomura defeated Yusuke Kubo with an Inverted Cross Armbreaker (9:20).
4. 3 Way Handicap Match: Gouma Ryu defeated Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga and Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato when Ryu pinned Senga with a School Boy (8:30).
5. Isami Kodaka, Ryuichi Sekine & Minoru Fujita defeated Ryota Nakatsu, Akiyori Takizawa & SAGAT when Kodaka pinned Takizawa with the Isamiashi Zan (10:20).
6. Leo Isaka defeated Daiki Shimomura with an Inverted Hurricanrana (12:14).
7. Union MAX Title: Fuminori Abe (c) defeated Brahman Kei (w/ Brahman Shu) with an Onryo Clutch (12:13).

The Brahman Brothers disinfected the ring during their entrance because they are still concerned over getting infected with the Coronavirus. Brahman Kei tried to do the twin magic spot with both Brahman Shu and Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi at ringside. Fuminori Abe didn’t fall for it but was still distracted long enough for Kei to attack him from behind. Takuya Nomura helped Abe at certain moments to even out the odds. Shu then took out his secret weapon, an Ultimo Dragon mask! He wore it and tried to do Ultimo Dragon moves until Abe blocked the Asai DDT. Abe then used the Irabu Punch to stun The Brahmans into hitting each other. Shy threw powder in Abe’s face in a moment of desperation and Kei used La Magistral Cradle for a nearfall. Abe regained his senses and pinned Kei with the Onryo Clutch to defend the Union MAX Title.

After the match, Takumi Tsukamoto challenged Abe to be his next challenger. However, Masato Kamino also came out asking for a title shot because he pinned Takato Nakano today. Abe called that a weak reason and suggested a No. 1 Contender match between Tsukamoto and Kamino. He would rather choose the challenger that way than defend the title against both in a 3 Way.

Daiki Shimomura and Leo Isaka both gestured they want a rematch with each other.

Daichi Kazato wants to bring the IRON FIST TAG Titles back to BASARA. He and Hiroshi challenged Speed Of Sounds to a title match at the next Shin-Kiba 1st RING show.
