He has since visited his father and it felt to him like he was a complete stranger. However he was also impressed by his dad’s newly found vitality. So Imanari wants to spread his dad’s message of posterity and prove how strong the family bloodline is against others. Chikara and Pandita are just the kind of opponents he was looking for.

Dino’s reason is DDT has so many championships now that they need to give time for other the other titles to be defended. Colt Cabana sent a message at “DDT SPECIAL 2017” challenging the winner of Konosuke Takeshita Vs Dino to put the belt on the line against him. Cabana gets his shot against Takeshita on Christmas Eve.

It looked like Isami Kodaka & Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi would work well together as a team but tension grew between them thanks to unwanted blind tags. Kodaka won the main event for the team anyway. Kodaka asked Ryuichi for a handshake after the match but Ryuichi gave him the Perfect Five instead. Ryuichi told Kodaka “You’re not sexy! You’re not American! My girlfriend is Ariana Grande!” and then he left the ring. Kodaka’s day wasn’t over yet because FUMA, Ryuichi Sekine and Takumi Tsukamoto all came out demanding a Union MAX Title match against him. Kodaka told them he will defend the title on 26th November but against who will be up for them to decide. Kodaka doesn’t care how they figure it out as long as they stop making so much noise with their arguing. When they all left, Kodaka said he was now standing alone under the heavens, a familiar situation for him. Well, alone except for the ring announcer Rikiya Shindo also being there. Shindo gave him a beer and Kodaka closed out the show holding a toast for himself.

It took him a few attempts but Ryuichi Sekine was able to submit Yasu Urano to the Let’s Combine. Most of his attempts were stopped by Takumi Tsukamoto and SAGAT throwing the steel cans at him including a Con-Chair-To style attack with an extra can placed over Sekine’s head.

Hercules Senga used the ropes for leverage to pin Best Stretchman V3. Despite being cheated, Stretchman agreed to give Tsutomu Oosugi back to Senga but only when Senga can beat him without cheating. Stretchman then recommended the audience to stay warm by doing stretching exercises because Japan is entering its coldest winter in 60 years.

Trans-Am ★Hiroshi announced the date for Hiroshi Aid, a special benefit show to help him while he is recovering from his shoulder injuries. The event takes place at Tokyo BASEMENT MON☆STAR on 29th November. Hiroshi no longer needs to wear a shoulder brace but he has not been medically cleared to wrestle yet.

An update about Dai Suzuki was posted on the DDT website two days ago. The injury he suffered at “DNA 37” turned out to be a partially fractured left knee. He will be out of action with no prediction of a return date yet.

DAMNATION was chosen to be the other team but their line-up is being kept secret for now. The group currently has four members but some of them are pretty busy right now. Daisuke Sasaki has his hands full with championships and other people’s money. Shuji Ishikawa is currently wrestling in other promotions. There has been something building between DAMNATION and Nobuhiro Shimatani lately. The rookie was tricked into thinking he was joining the group during the Seijo Hall show earlier this month but it was just a mind game to beat him up. He has also been positioned as their ringside attendant for their matches. Could he become a new member?

Konosuke Takeshita entered the 58th Kanto Student Bodybuilding Championships this past weekend. He finished in 12th place and qualified for the 52nd All Japan Student Bodybuilding Championships happening later this year. However after discussing the event with his doctor, Takeshita decided to withdraw from the competition. The preparation for the Kanto event took a toll on his body and continuing on that path would also interfere with his pro wrestling schedule. So Takeshita will put his focus on wrestling from now on.

More Ganbare gimmicks are being created to encourage sales of Ganbare The Great masks. Ganpuro staff pretty much said that Yukihiro Abe and Ultraman Robin are going to be Ganbare The Akihabara & Ganbare The Robin.

The appearance of Andre The Giant Panda in Big Japan has spurred Ganpuro to bring back J-Soul Pandita III IV. The creature has not wrestled in over a year.

The conflict over Ken Ohka’s money continues. Daisuke Sasaki tried to withdraw all of Ohka’s money from the bank this week but discovered his account was empty. When Sasaki crashed a Ganbare☆Wrestling show to get an explanation both he and Ohka found out that Yumehito Imanari took out the money to both protect and invest in it. Sasaki and Ohka agreed to a tag match on this show where the winner takes it all. Ohka got his money back and brought it to DDT HQ to count all of it. Hisaya Imabayashi confirmed that 691,619 yen is the full amount being put on the line. Sasaki chose Tetsuya Endo to be his partner while HARASHIMA offered to help out Ohka, both because he is a friend and also so he can fight Sasaki before their DDT Extreme Title match.

That’s not to say HARASHIMA is new to the stipulation. He won the KO-D Tag Team Titles with KUDO in a TLC Match way back in 2003.

The circumstances surrounding the next KO-D Tag Titles defence are not good but Shuten-dōji still wanted another shot. The previous match prematurely ended when KUDO suffered a concussion from a fluke collision with Naomichi Marufuji’s knee. Masahiro Takanashi misses KUDO but he decided that letting other teams challenge for the titles will eventually lose him the opportunity to win the belts from HARASHIMA & Naomichi Marufuji. So he and Yukio Sakaguchi are getting their shot next. Takanashi said they are not motivated by getting revenge for what happened to KUDO. They are treating this match as a continuation of the previous match. HARASHIMA hopes that when KUDO returns they can still do a proper rematch for the titles.

Meanwhile, HARASHIMA will be in non-tournament action teaming with Marufuji and UMA’s Kappa Kozo against a team to be announced.

The only previous time Reika Saiki and Rika Tatsumi have wrestled in the ring together was at “JUDGEMENT 2017” in March. They were on the same team then. Tatsumi has a chance of becoming a double champion because she is also part of the Tokyo Princess Tag Team Title tournament final on 14th October. Tatsumi had never won a championship before in any sort of competition so she is motivated to win. Saiki learned in her first defence that a single mistake could cost her the championship so she is learning not to hesitate in her matches.

3. Betrayal Of Senga? Danger Team Best Stretch: Hercules Senga & Takato Nakano defeated Best Stretchman V3 & Tsutomu Oosugi when Senga pinned Stretchman with a Cradle (8:55).
4. 3 Way Tag Match: Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi & SAGAT defeated FUMA & Yusuke Kubo and Takumi Tsukamoto & Yasu Urano when Ryuichi pinned Kubo with a Perfect Plex (15:56).
5. Isami Kodaka 15th Anniversary Memorial Match ~Blessed Edition~: Ryuji Ito & GENTARO defeated Isami Kodaka & Ryota Nakatsu when GENTARO pinned Kodaka with a Lou Thesz Back Drop (18:50).

Isami Kodaka was put through the wringer by two of his seniors as his 15th Anniversary series continued. He & Ryota Nakatsu were defeated by GENTARO & Ryuji Ito. Kodaka was crushed by Ito’s Dragon Splash and was then given a Lou Thesz style Back Drop by GENTARO. Kodaka fought through the pain to rise back to his feet but another Back Drop put him down for the count. GENTARO apologised to Kodaka because he forgot it was his 15th Anniversary. GENTARO remembered seeing Kodaka fight Kengo Mashimo in one of his first wrestling matches for K-DOJO. He is amazed to watch him grow into a great wrestler. Ito congratulated Kodaka too but then bragged that he and GENTARO are both celebrating their 18th Anniversary this year.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi used Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s Perfect Plex to win the 3 Way Tag Match. Hiroshi praised him for using the move backstage afterwards. After all, it is the perfect finishing move. Ryuichi said that today he blew his “American Big Magnum”. Next month at Korakuen Hall, Ryuichi’s “Big Magnum” will blow off Kodaka’s thin arms!

Hercules Senga was thrilled to bring Speed Of Sounds back to BASARA but was annoyed to learn that he would be fighting against Tsutomu Oosugi instead of teaming with him. When he pinned Best Stretchman V3 to win the match, Senga demanded he give Oosugi back to him. Stretchman refused and told Senga to bring a stronger partner next time. He wants to fight Senga as many times as possible. Senga said he will and he promised he would rescue Oosugi eventually. Oosugi seemed okay with the whole situation. To him it was just a match.
