6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura (c) Vs Chihiro Hashimoto & Yuki Iino
7. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Masato Tanaka
When Naomichi Marufuji joined DISASTER BOX last week, he was happy to meet the entire unit for the first time. The thing is according to Kazuki Hirata they have met before. They even spent a night drinking together. Marufuji doesn’t remember that. Even worse, he doesn’t remember Hirata’s name! So Toru Owashi has organised a match between the two. He knows Marufuji has wrestled the likes of Stalker Ichikawa so this match shouldn’t be an uncomfortable experience for him. It’s not about who wins or loses. It will be a chance for Hirata to leave an impression on Marufuji. Hirata has promised to do his best so Marufuji will never forget his name ever again!
An infomercial match for hair products has been added to the show. The wrestlers involved will all have their hair done up by a professional hairdresser. Owashi is upset over this because he’s had his hairstyle for nearly 20 years and doesn’t want to change it. Keigo Nakamura was brought out to show off his new hairstyle but Owashi figured out it was a wig and he pulled it off.
DDT “INTO THE FIGHT 2020”, 23/02/2020 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Chris Brookes
2. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs MAO
MAO will face the winner of HARASHIMA versus Masato Tanaka for the KO-D Openweight Title. His Pokotan stunt last week got one over on both wrestlers so MAO should be prepared to face either.
It’s been decided that Konosuke Takeshita and Chris Brookes will be the two wrestlers fighting to become the first ever DDT UNIVERSAL Champion. Takeshita wants to be the first champion so he can bring DDT abroad and show everyone overseas what an exciting hotspot the promotion is. He’s happy to face Brookes again because he thinks they are the most interesting opponents for each other. Brookes thinks he is the better choice to promote DDT abroad but admits that he brings out his best against Takeshita. He has not achieved any of the goals he has set for his tours so far. He didn’t beat Takeshita for the KO-D Title, he didn’t win the KO-D Tag Team Titles with Takanashi and he didn’t win the D-Ou Grand Prix. It’s very important for him to become the first UNIVERSAL Champion when he begins his year long stay in Japan. What both wrestlers agree on is the title provides a blank slate and they will set the standard for its matches. They can provide something that can attract worldwide attention while being different from the KO-D Title and the DDT Extreme Title.

3. 3 Way Match: Shoko Nakajima defeated Yuki Kamifuku and Mahiro Kiryu when Nakajima pinned Kiryu with a European Clutch (6:30).
4. Miyu Yamashita, Raku & Suzume defeated Natsumi Maki, Hikari Noa & Haruna Neko when Yamashita pinned Neko with the Attitude Adjustment (8:42).
5. Yuka Sakazaki, Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe defeated Yuna Manase, Mina Shirakawa & Mirai Maiumi when Sakazaki pinned Maiumi with the Magical Merry Go Round (14:23).
6. International Princess Title: Thunder Rosa defeated Maki Itoh (c) with the Thunder Driver (14:33). *Maki Itoh fails in V3. Thunder Rosa becomes the 4th International Princess Champion!
Maki Itoh’s decision to defend the International Princess Title on a day’s notice ended up backfiring on her. Thunder Rosa beat her to become the new champion! The match went pear shaped for Itoh when she missed the Flying Big Head. Rosa got out of the way and pinned Itoh with the Thunder Driver. Rosa said afterwards that it’s been her dream to wrestle in Japan and become a champion here since 2015. Today she achieved her dream! Also since she is able to wrestle around the world now, that means the International Princess Title can truly become an international championship.
Mina Shirakawa shouted out a tribute to Jushin Liger when she did the Romero Special during her match. Since he is retiring today, she thinks it is up to her to inherit the move.
The 3 Way Match was wrestled more like a Handicap match with Yuki Kamifuku and Mahiro Kiryu joining forces to fight Shoko Nakajima. She still won.
Hyper Misao’s new ring name for a month is Akemi Daredasore. Nakajima chose the name from a conversation they once had about what Misao’s student pro wrestling name would be. They came up with that. Nakajima also said she may change the name whenever the mood suits her. Daredasore wrestled in a green schoolgirl uniform because she wanted to be cute like Pom Harajuku. She also brought out tapioca tea to share with Harajuku but Daredasore almost choked on it. Harajuku found out during the match ther her Leg Kicks were ineffective because Daredasore’s large socks were acting as shin guards. So Harajuku got a pair of scissors to cut the socks off. Daredasore missed the I Am A Hero but Harajuku also missed the Pom du Justice. Daredasore was able to roll Harajuku into a pin and placed her feet on the ropes for leverage.

So much to get through in so little time. Thunder Rosa challenged Maki Itoh to an International Princess Title on today’s show. Itoh had her own trick up her sleeve by asking for the match to take place tomorrow.
The Princess Of Princess Title and Princess Tag Team Titles currently have no challengers on the horizon. Maybe Yuna Manase, Mina Shirakawa or Mirai Maiumi can stake a claim if they can beat one of those champions in the 6-Woman Tag.
Hyper Misao has to change her ring name for a month after she lost to Shoko Nakajima today. Misao’s new name as decided by Nakajima will be revealed before her match tomorrow.

2020 has been wild already, huh? Tokyo Joshi Pro kicked off their year with the annual Ittenyon show at Korakuen Hall. In the main event Yuka Sakazaki was able to banish the ghost and finally beat Miyu Yamashita in a Princess Of Princess Title match. It took all of the champion’s creativity to get the job done. During an out of the ring skirmish, Sakazaki placed Yamashita on a flat table and slid her down the Korakuen steps. The challenger got her own back by throwing Sakazaki onto the ring apron with the Attitude Adjustment. Later Sakazaki went for the Magical Girl Splash but Yamashita was up on her feet and stopped the move with a High Kick. Sakazaki went for the Mil Clutch α that pinned Yamashita a week ago but this time it was countered into a German Suplex. Things were heading towards a familiar ending when Yamashita set up the Crash Rabbit Heat. But Sakazaki dodged it and used the Merry Go Round to put Yamashita in position for the match ending Magical Magical Girl Splash. Sakazaki thought she was going to die in the match but she was able to fly instead. With so many people here to watch Tokyo Joshi today, she can feel the company growing bigger. She wants everyone to continue following her and TJPW throughout the year.
Daydream had to go through one of the longest running teams in Tokyo Joshi to defend their Princess Tag Team Titles. They were in danger when The Bakuretsu Sisters had Miu Watanabe in place for the Bakuretsu Bulldog. Watanabe was rescued by Rika Tatsumi who gave Nodoka Tenma the Dragon Twist Of Fate and also the Hip Attack. Yuki Aino tried to fight off Watanabe but she fell to the Tear Drop.
Maki Itoh began the day’s clean sweep for Princess champions when she defeated Hikari Noa. A Body Slam on the floor outside the ring and also a crab hold wore down the challenger. There wasn’t much left in the tank for Noa when she was placed in the Itoh Special yet she still hung on. Itoh got her opponent to submit when she modified the Itoh Special into a new version called the Itoh Deluxe.
Itoh was thanking the fans for coming to support her when Thunder Rosa entered the ring. She said Itoh has not fought a challenger like her yet and she wants an International Princess Title shot. Itoh suggested they do the match in Itabashi tomorrow! They both agreed to it by sticking their middle fingers in each other’s faces.
Rosa earned her case for a title shot by beating Itoh’s former tag partner Mizuki. The plucky Mizuki did hit some high Cross Body Blocks but when Rosa hit a Double Stomp and the Thunder Driver, it was all over. Rosa has respect for Mizuki and is honored to have wrestled her. Her sights are set on winning a championship during her short tour. She tried this before and couldn’t capitalize. This time she won’t waste her chance.
According to Kero Tanaka during the introduction, today is the first time in 3 years and 4 months Natsumi Maki and Sareee got to wrestle a singles match against each other. It was Maki’s return match from injury so she could have blamed her ring rust for losing. But instead she had tears of joy for getting to wrestle again. All the pain she felt in the ring was worth it. Sareee was also happy to wrestle her too. I mean she should be because they are close friends outside of the ring.
We’ll take a detour here to talk about what happened backstage after Matches #3 & #4. After Saki Akai’s match, her post-match interview was cut short by an ambush from Aja Kong. Kong pinned Akai to win the Iron Man Heavyweight Title then ran off to make her entrance for the next match. Akai had to continue on with her interview like nothing happened. Then after Kong’s match, Akai snuck into her backstage interview disguised as a janitor. She attacked Kong with a dustpan to win back the Iron Man Title. A confused Kong was left asking her tag partners why they didn’t stop the cleaning lady from attacking her?
Anyway back to what happened in the ring. Kong came out parading the Iron Man Title around. She joined with Raku & Pom Harajuku for the Goodnight Express on Mina Shirakawa. However Shirakawa, Yuna Manase & Mirai Maiumi all got to show their power by getting the better of Kong at different moments. However Kong got the pin on Maiumi with the Backwards Diving Elbow Drop to end the match. Kong’s team won the match but Manase & Shirakawa still tried to get their hands on the Iron Man Title.
Akai’s match with Yuki Kamifuku became an Iron Man Title match because Akai won the belt in DDT yesterday. Kamifuku came close to winning with the Fame Asser but Akai got a rope break. Akai hit a Diving Cross Body followed by the Quetzalcoatl for the win.
In the build up to Hyper Misao’s return match against Shoko Nakajima, the two wrestlers dared each other to put their names on the line. So it was agreed that whoever lost the match will have to use a new name chosen by the winner for one month. A large pinata ball was hung above the ring with a banner inside. Whoever climbed the ladder, broke the pinata and pulled out the banner would be the winner. Also both wrestlers were allowed to bring a weapon with them. Nakajima brought along a collection of kaiju action figures. Misao announced that her weapon was Tokyo Joshi’s producer Tetsuya Koda! He agreed to help out because Misao offered him a ticket for a Hello! Project concert. However, Misao was knocked onto the kaiju toys, the Hello! Project ticket was ripped apart during a fight on the ladder and Nakajima got the banner out of the pinata to win. Nakajima will come up with Misao’s new ring name soon.
The opening match was Sena Shiori’s debut. Her and Suzume in particular shared plenty of time in the ring. Haruna Neko held Mahiro Kiryu back while Suzume submitted Shiori with a Sleeper Hold. Shiori said she wants to become a cool wrestler who can easily face against everyone.
It was announced during the show that the 2020 Tokyo Princess Cup will begin on 23rd May and the final will be held in Korakuen on 23rd July. Also Tokyo Joshi Pro’s biggest show in history will be at the Tokyo Dome City Hall on 7th November! This is the same venue where Bull Nakano held her retirement show back in 2012.

7. Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino & Yuna Manase defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Mirai Maiumi when Tenma pinned Maiumi with the Killswitch (13:56).
Daydream were on the losing side of the main event but they look forward to being challenged by The Bakuretsu Sisters. At the end of the match Rika Tatsumi told the sisters that they should all do more at Korakuen Hall on 4th January. Yuna Manase gave the sisters her support to win the Princess Tag Team Titles.
Misao used most of what she learned under Sakisama’s guidance against her master. She used the Vanitas but Sakisama was too close to the ropes to get pinned. After she escaped from the Versailles Foot Choke, Misao went back to her roots and used a rope assisted School Boy for a nearfall. She also did the I Am The Hero Cross Body from the top rope. However Sakisama took back control and pinned Misao with the Academy Awards.
After the match Sakisama changed her mind. She was going to punish Misao but now she no longer cares what Misao wants to be. She gave Misao the Hyper Misao mask because she doesn’t need that either. Misao said she always wanted to be as strong as Sakisama. She was able to see a beautiful new world thanks to her. But the more she chased after Sakisama’s strength, the further away she was from discovering her own true strength. Misao now believes in herself and wants to follow her own path. Sakisama wasn’t paying attention because she only understands French but she said her goodbyes to Misao anyway. They shook hands until Misao kicked Sakisama in the stomach and put the Hyper Misao mask on. The hero that protects love and peace in Toyko Joshi Pro is back!
For the second show in a row Miyu Yamashita bought some food for Yuka Sakazaki. This time she got her a box of cookies and Sakazaki accepted them because they were her favourites. This means the Princess Of Princess Title match between them on 4th Janaury is now 100% confirmed. They even posed for a commemorative photo together for the occasion.
Mizuki Vs Thunder Rosa was announced for 4th January.

6. IRON FIST TAG Titles: FUMA & Yusuke Kubo (c) Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT
The Union MAX Champion and his next challenger are teaming up for a match. But why? It’s all Isami Kodaka’s idea and is based on his history with Masahiro Takanashi. When Kodaka was the KO-D Openweight Champion in 2016, Takanashi was one of his challengers. The two teamed together before their title match. Kodaka remembers how tense it was as a champion to team with his challenger. He wants Takanashi to experience the same feeling. He has brought in what he thinks is the best team they should fight, the Speed Of Sounds!
Over in Big Japan this year’s Saikyo Tag League has been going on. Fuminori Abe entered the tournament with Takuya Nomura. The two regularly team together in BJW as Astronauts. Sadly the team only scored 6 points in their group and could not qualify for the semi-finals. So while the final rounds of the tournament is happening in Korakuen Hall, Abe and Nomura will instead be at BASARA wrestling each other.

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao (c) Vs Masahiro Takanashi & Chris Brookes
7. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Yuki Iino
Yuki Iino has been bench pressing 200kg as part of his training for the main event. He thought the public contract signing was a public workout so HARASHIMA was there to see his lift. The downside for this kind of training is Iino risks re-injuring his elbow before the show. He swears it is in perfect condition.
Michiaki Nakano from Souken Holdings had a sparring session with Keigo Nakamura but he got beaten pretty easily. At least the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title is now part of the Battle Royal he is entering.
Saki Akai has said the reason she is doing a 7 match series is to show her guest opponents how interesting wrestling in DDT can be. Tsukasa Fujimoto is no stranger to DDT so she is going into the match wanting to see if Akai is more than just a gorgeous looking pro wrestler. She is curious to see how Akai wrestles against her because Akai has spent almost her entire wrestling career in a company for male wrestlers.

This is because Sakazaki didn’t want her first title defence to be against her. Yamashita hopes Sakazaki will get just as motivated as she is for their match.
The debuting Nightshade showed her power by using Spears, Splashes, Lariats and her Neck Hanging Bomb finisher to win her tag match. She told Maki Itoh she is ready for their International Princess Title match next week. Itoh gave her the middle finger and the two told each other to “walk away.”
Losing the Princess Tag Team Titles has left Misao feeling despondent. She was missing during NEO Biishiki-gun’s entrance. Sakisama didn’t notice she was by herself until she got into the ring. When she figured it out she went back and dragged Misao out. Misao was put into an ever worse state when Mahiro Kiryu loudly reminded her she is no longer a champion. Kiryu held Misao in place while Yuna Manase grabbed Sakisama’s rose. Manase swung the rose at Misao but Sakisama jumped in and took the blow for her. That snapped Misao out of her rut and she rallied the team to victory. Sakisama was telling Misao how wonderful it was to see her recover when Rika Tatsumi entered the ring. She asked Misao if her defeat at Sumo Hall means that Hyper Misao can come back? She requested a hug but Misao left the ring with Sakisama instead. Tatsumi isn’t upset about it. She knows that Hyper Misao will come back some day.
Hear the drums? That’s the sound of Thunder Rosa returning to Tokyo Joshi Pro at the 4th January show!

It was a close call but Shoko Nakajima scored her first TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title defence. Ten minutes into the match Thunder Rosa hit the Reinella Splash that has been her match finisher for this tour but Nakajima got a foot on the rope to break the pin. She countered another Reinella Splash into a DDT then hit the Diving Senton for the victory. Nakajima called Rosa a big kaiju and asked her to please come back to Japan. Nakajima also said she likes Sapporo because it is where the movie Gamera 2 is set.
Miyu Yamashita is now completely trophy-less after she lost the SHINE Title back to the previous champion Allysin Kay. The match went back and forth until the Big D Spinning Lariat put Yamashita down for the count. Kay said this time she knew what to expect from Yamashita although she is still feeling a headache from her kicks. It’s a short tour for her but she’d like to come back for a longer stay. And if that can’t happen, she’s fine with Yamashita going to America again for a third match.
Maki Itoh has a new entrance song called “Brooklyn The Hole”.
The 3 Way Match was more like a Handicap Match with Raku and Himawari Unagi taking sides against Rika Tatsumi. This situation seems to happen to Tatsumi a lot.

After the match Rosa faced off with Shoko Nakajima while Allysin Kay and Miyu Yamashita stared each other down. Nakajima motivated Yamashita and said both of them will defend their titles tomorrow and together become Mega Double Champs!
Misao is getting annoyed that “weeds” are spreading to places where the winds are gentle. She does not want to even see weak people let alone be associated with them. Sakisama agreed and talked to Tetsuya Koda about adding the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles and also the “pure white child” Mizuki to her collection. Koda said he would book a tag title match for Osaka on 12th May but Sakisama said she will be busy in Paris that day. Instead she wants the title match to happen during the Tokyo Princess Cup. In return she will agree not to enter the tournament this year. Koda did not make an immediate decision.
Mina Shirakawa gave Maki Itoh the middle finger after their match. Itoh grabbed the finger and twisted it. She then stuck up her own middle finger to Shirakawa.
Pandemic Boo-Boo used a Double Argentine Facebuster on Marika Kobashi to set up their winning pinfall.
Don’t know if it was just a bit of rookie hazing but Yuna Manase stomped on Mahiro Kiryu after their match.
It was revealed the 2019 Tokyo Princess Cup will begin on 25th May and the final will be held on 7th July.
