Kanagawa Tsurumi Fruit & Vegetable Market
210 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Shoko Nakajima defeated Pom Harajuku with the Northern Lights Suplex (9:17).
2. Shin Numabukuro Ghost Story Death Match: Yumehito Imanari defeated Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda and Amon Tsurumi when Imanari knocked out Tsurumi with the It’s You (9:22).
3. Rika Tatsumi defeated Demonio with the Hip Attack (17:00).
4. Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Hyper Misao defeated Miyu Yamashita, Hikari Noa & Yuki Aino when Sakazaki pinned Aino with the Burning Magical Merry-Go-Round (16:34).

Tokyo Joshi Pro celebrated Labor Thanksgiving Day with a special one-off show that was half a tribute to their earlier years and half an excuse for the women to go absolutely bonkers. There were familiar faces from TJPW’s past present in the venue. The main event however was not built around nostalgia. Instead it looked like a blatant attempt by the craziest women on the roster to burn the entire place down! When Hikari Noa was one of the quieter wrestlers in the match that’s saying something.

Miyu Yamashita wore her old gear and danced to her previous entrance song “Genghis Khan” by Berryz Kobo. Then in the main event she ended up getting trapped in a cage and surrounded with fireworks. Everyone else happily set off the fireworks while Yamashita was at her most helpless. Then Mizuki did a dive from the top of the tour bus onto everyone below. There was more pyro fun when Hyper Misao armed herself with a mallet and helmet that both set off fireworks. Yuki Aino grabbed some sparklers until Yuka Sakazaki decided to set the back of Aino’s outfit on fire and then spin her in circles with the Magical Merry-Go-Round, all while the pyro was still going off.

Don’t know if it was Uno, Dos or another Demonio entirely. The poor demon was terrorized by Rika Tatsumi in her latest fight against the ungodly beings that show up whenever TJPW is in Tsurumi. This time Tatsumi dragged Demonio away from the venue to the streets where the fought along a pedestrian crossing. Tatsumi also took the time to get some fast food to eat while she was beating up Demonio. Back in the venue Tatsumi found a forklift and wanted to use it. She couldn’t get it to work though and Demonio recovered enough to attack her. Antonio Honda came to Tatsumi’s aid and the two of them hit a Double Bionic Elbow. Tatsumi then finished off Demonio with a Sliding Hip Attack.

Honda also took part in a 3 Way Match with Yumehito Imanari and Super Sasadango Machine. The match was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Amon Tsurumi. He was here to transform the bout into a Ghost Story Death Match! He told his scary story and at the climax caused people to faint one by one by pointing at them and shouting “It’s you!” Imanari resisted though and gave Tsurumi a taste of his own medicine by doing it to him! Tsurumi collapsed and Imanari did his own Atsushi Onita impersonation while “Wild Thing” played. That means Imanari was the winner.

Shoko Nakajima noticed a trail of kaiju toys were laid out by the entrance way. She couldn’t help but pick them up and follow the trail until it led her towards a parked car in the venue. She opened the door and out popped Pom Harajuku with a surprise attack! Nakajima regained ground in the ring by attacking Harajuku with one of the kaiju toys. She ended up winning with the Northern Lights Suplex.

Some of the old TJPW talent who attended the show also got involved one way or another. Minami Momochi was the promotion’s first ring announcer so it was only right to take up that job again today. Nodoka Tenma appeared in the ring with Miraclians for the show opening speech. She later reappeared wearing a Nodoka-oneesan hat to perform Pin Pon Pan Gymnastics with current members of the roster. Marika Kobashi and KANNA were both in the audience and helped Yamashita complete a rubber band snap spot on Misao. Akane Miura worked staff duties but I think she usually does that in TJPW anyway.

The Next Generation Tournament final comes down to HIMAWARI against Wakana Uehara. The only time they previously fought each other one on one Uehara bested HIMAWARI. It is a result HIMAWARI wants to get revenge for.

Never mind my suggestion last week of Yuki Kamifuku and Viva Van getting along. After they team together on one show they will be wrestling each other on another.

6. D-Oh Grand Prix 2023 – B Block: Yukio Naya Vs Rei Saito
7. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Soma Takao & Shota (c) Vs Toru Sugiura & Akito

The tournament grudge match between Yukio Naya and Rei Saito happens here. Saito is taking part in the D-Oh GP at the same time as the Real World Tag League because he wanted an opportunity to show off his skills as a singles wrestler. Not only is he building up a feud with Naya, he also has his sights on Kazusada Higuchi given they all share a background in sumo. They are in separate blocks though so Higuchi Vs Saito is only possible if it’s the GP final.

First sign of where Yuki Iino might align himself with when he returns. Since Jun Akiyama is leaving BURNING soon would they be interested in taking Iino as his replacement? The 8-Man Tag on this show could turn into a tryout for him.

6. D-Oh Grand Prix 2023 – B Block: Yukio Naya Vs Kazuki Hirata

A promise was made by MIKAMI to team up with Kazuma Sumi and it gets to happen here. It might be the step he needs to finally get a win against KANON. However Demus is still here hanging around with DAMNATION T.A.

4. Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta defeated Yuki Kamifuku & Runa Okubo when Noa pinned Okubo with the Running Neckbreaker Drop (11:18).
5. Yuki Arai, Suzume & Arisu Endo defeated Moka Miyamoto, Juria Nagano & Kaya Toribami when Arai pinned Toribami with the Finally (8:49).
6. Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki Vs Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
7. International Princess Title: Max The Impaler (c) defeated Shoko Nakajima with the Short-Range Lariat (10:49).
*V2 for Max The Impaler.

It’s not often that Shoko Nakajima feels intimidated by her opponent but she admitted today was the first time she felt a little scared having to fight Max The Impaler. She had good reason to feel that way because her attacks had little effect. Max caught her on dives and when Nakajima did a Dropkick, Max fired back with one of her own. Not even the Diving Senton landing on Max’s back while they were down on the ring apron gave Nakajima the advantage for long. In the end Max caught her with the Short-Range Lariat to defend the International Princess Title for a second time.

After the match Pom Harajuku entered the ring and congratulated Max on their victory. She thinks they can win the Princess Tag Team Titles together and bring them to Osaka the next time they come back. Harajuku then played interpreter after Max roared. She explained that was just Max asking fans to come see the Tag Title match on 1st December. Backstage Nakajima said Max reminds her of the new Godzilla movie she just watched. There is a line in the movie about how you can kill Godzilla but he still won’t die. She thinks that can be applied to Max too.

The final match between The Magical Sugar Rabbits and Daydream has been on Yuka Sakazaki’s mind for months. The two teams were meant to face each other for the Princess Tag Titles back in June but Sakazaki had to pull out due to her neck injury and Mizuki fought Daydream by herself in a rare 2-Vs-1 Handicap match. Sakazaki felt responsible for putting Mizuki in that situation and wanted to make it up for her with this match. The result was the teams fighting each other to a 20 minute stalemate. Sakazaki shook hands with Rika Tatsumi afterwards and then hugged Miu Watanabe when he noticed her crying. Backstage Sakazaki said she was happy to have the match but disappointed there was no winner because she isn’t sure if there will ever be a rematch. She praised Watanabe for her growth and wants her to become a leader for Tokyo Joshi Pro. That’s how high her hopes are for her. Tatsumi is certain MagiRabi Vs Daydream will happen again someday.

Mahiro Kiryu wanted the teams in Match #3 to be changed around because she believes the trio of Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku are unbeatable. The others agreed but their solution was to all attack Kiryu to make the match 5 against 1. Kiryu used her apology spot to take back her idea and the match returned to the original teams as advertised.

The final of the Next Generation Tournament has been decided. The first portion of the show featured the two semi-finals where Wakana Uehara submitted Toga and HIMAWARI pinned Shino Suzuki. This is the first time HIMAWARI won a match by pinfall.

Uehara pointed out she and HIMAWARI debuted on the same day so they are often compared to each other by people around them. HIMAWARI still remembers losing to Uehara by submission in their previous singles match together. She wants to get revenge for that.

Production of Hyper Misao’s replacement superbike the Hypami Go will soon begin. However Misao needs to use a crowdfunding site to afford it and will start up a campaign soon. She told fans the more support she gets the more powerful the bike will be.

We get to see Yuki Ueno and Chris Brookes against each other again eleven days after “ULTIMATE PARTY 2023”.

It should be no surprise to see that Demus has sided with DAMNATION T.A during his stay here. He’ll delight in helping Daisuke Sasaki torment Yuni.

Yesterday Jun Akiyama announced he will be leaving BURNING by the end of the year. So this might be the last time Yusuke Okada teams with him in a regular tag match.

6. Hikari Noa, Nao Kakuta & Shino Suzuki Vs Max The Impaler, Yuki Aino & Pom Harajuku
7. Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki Vs Yuki Arai & Moka Miyamoto

It’s a big deal for Yuki Arai & Moka Miyamoto to be getting one of the last Magical Sugar Rabbits matches while Yuka Sakazaki is still here. Another sign that the promotion is backing Miyamoto a bit more lately.

The semi-main event is a preview of the Princess Tag Team Titles match. Free WiFi gets a taste of what Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku will throw at them. I mean it will mainly be Max throwing Pom at them but maybe Yuki Aino can help with giving them other ideas.

This will be Viva Van’s first match with Tokyo Joshi Pro. Can’t imagine her not getting along with Yuki Kamifuku.

Wakana Uehara is not on the show because she has a stage performance going on somewhere else that day.

It will be a battle within the Young Communication generation for ROMANCE DAWN’s next KO-D Tag Team Titles defence. Akito isn’t happy to see Shota & Soma Takao surpassing him with their recent success when for years he’s been positioned on a level above both of them. He is bringing in Toru Sugiura, the current KING Of FREEDOMS champion to try and take the tag belts off them. Sugiura was a regular part of the Monthly Young Communication shows that DDT’s rookies at the time put together during the early 2010s along with Akito, Shota and Takao.

7. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles 1-DAY Tournament – Final: X, X & X Vs X, X & X

The DDT Extreme Title match is being built entirely around the history of DDT. The title will be defended in a Trivia King Death Match! Kazuki Hirata and MIKAMI will wrestle as normal but when a fall is won, the winner must answer a trivia question about DDT. If they get it correct then they win the match. If they get it wrong then the loser gets to answer and if the loser gets it right, the match will continue. If the loser also answers incorrectly then a new question will be asked to the winner. This continues until one of them gives a right answer. The questions will be determined by a panel of 100 people selected from the DDT Legend Executive Committee which consists of 1000 members. The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title is also on the line but as always there is a risk Hirata could lose it to someone else before the match takes place.

MIKAMI is confident he will win and show off the history of DDT while doing it. He still vividly remembers the day when the championship was created and Sanshiro Takagi rewarded it to him. MIKAMI said when he is champion he wants to have matches as intense as those from his first reign and he will nominate Takagi as a challenger. Hirata believes if he can successfully defend the title against MIKAMI then he is good enough to break the record for most Extreme Title defences. Hisaya Imabayashi gave MIKAMI an example question to test him out. Who was the first KO-D Openweight Champion? MIKAMI struggled to come up with an answer while Hirata calmly said he knew. MIKAMI eventually figured it out and correctly said it was Masao Orihara.

With the retirement of Saki Akai having taken place, the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles are now vacated. The tournament to crown the next champions will be between The 37KAMIINA, DAMNATION T.A, the one-off trio called D.O.A and the newly established SCHADENFREUDE International.

Here is the match order for Sunday’s big show. There is a public press conference tomorrow featuring the wrestlers involved in the most important matches so there may be a last minute angle or moment done to heat them up a little one last time.

The KO-D Tag Team Titles match being pushed all the way down to the opening bout is odd. Maybe it’s for scheduling reasons regarding some of the wrestlers involved? Everyone in that match are the kind of wrestlers who keep themselves busy on the indies.

Danshoku Dieno’s team has been spending time together in preparation for their match against Sanshiro Takagi’s squad. The latest meeting had Dieno, Yoshitatsu & Yoshihiko go visit MMA fighter Hideo Tokoro’s gym to learn some new techniques. Yoshitatsu has been friends with Tokoro since childhood and Tokoro also got along with Dieno when he found out they are all 46 years old. Tokoro tried to teach them submission holds by using Yoshihiko as a training dummy. He then showed Dieno a way to apply multiple submissions at once by demonstrating a Cobra Twist and Muffler Hold combination. Dieno failed to apply the combination to Yoshitatsu and was scolded for not taking the training seriously.

Suddenly Takagi, Akito & Makoto Oishi barged into the gym. They heard from the media about this session going on and told Dieno that training with Tokoro for just a few minutes isn’t going to work. Dieno disagreed but Akito reminded him he is currently in a slump. Oishi said he will make sure Dieno won’t even make it to Sumo Hall and he suddenly attacked him. However all of a sudden Dieno outwrestled Oishi and successfully applied the submission combination he tried earlier while also reaching over to touch Oishi’s groin. This caused Oishi to submit while in great pain. Takagi, Akito & Oishi then fled from the scene. Dieno announced he is naming his new submission move the Danshoku Fantasy. Tokoro was surprised at how quickly Dieno learned the move. Dieno explained that people tend to get stronger when they are backed into a corner. He is in a slump and adversity was the key for him to break out of it.

Dieno then invited Tokoro to give pro wrestling a try. Tokoro declined, saying he would have to start off as a trainee. Dieno pointed out that DDT is unlike other wrestling companies. As long as you are willing to put your life on the line then you can step into the DDT ring. He told Tokoro the possibility will always be there if he is interested.

7. International Princess Title: Max The Impaler (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima

The main event is subject to change if Max The Impaler loses the International Princess Title to Kasey in EVE later this week.

It’s been over a year since Juria Nagano has wrestled in Osaka so Tokyo Joshi Pro is putting her in the same match as Yuki Arai to make it a bigger deal. The two of them have only been in the same match once before and that was at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022”.

Miyu Yamashita is not at the show because she will in wrestling at EVE in England that same day.

BASARA “BASARA 236 ~TAKAGARI 21~”, 23/11/2023
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. SAGAT Vs Akiyori Takizawa
2. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato Vs Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga
3. Takumi Tsukamoto & Lil’ Kraken Vs KUBITO & Ryuichi Sekine
4. Ryota Nakatsu, Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino Vs Tsutomu Oosugi, Banana Senga & Yasu Urano
5. Isami Kodaka & Minoru Fujita Vs FUMA & Hagane Shinno

As we get closer to the last Union MAX Title match of the year FUMA and Isami Kodaka are both bringing in reinforcements. Kodaka is staying within Sento Minzoku and has Minoru Fujita on his side. FUMA is calling in an old ally of his from BASARA’s early years. Hagane Shinno will be teaming with him.

This weekend Masato Kamino will be challenging T-Hawk for the G-REX Title in GLEAT. Will he be their new champion by the time BASARA’s next show takes place?

This is Akiyori Takizawa’s first appearance in BASARA since Sparky disbanded.

GANBARE☆PRO “ELEVATOR TO THE GALLOWS ’23”, 23/11/2023
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. YuuRI & Riara Vs SAKI & Yoshiko Hasegawa
2. Dan The Dad, Tyson Maeguchi & Banny Oikawa Vs Soma Takao, Shinichiro Tominaga & HARUKAZE
3. Yumehito Imanari Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi
4. Ken Ohka & Mizuki Watase Vs Koji Doi & Kuma Arashi
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Shuichiro Katsumura & Takuya Wada (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii & Munetatsu Nakamura
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Isami Kodaka (c) Vs Shota

Kind of cheeky for Ken Ohka to lose a hair match and then take a month off from running main Ganbare☆Pro shows so it would have grown back a little bit when the next one takes place. He has wrestled on other indies since then so it’s not like he’s been avoiding attention. Anyway he still wants revenge on DoiKuma and gets another tag match against them. This time Mizuki Watase is teaming with him.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi pays a visit from BASARA to face Yumehito Imanari.

After months of preparation on Ganbare☆Joshi shows Banny Oikawa finally gets her wish to wrestle on a main GanPro show. She’s taking part in an intergender tag match too which is the style she came back to wrestling for. What a weird world we live in when we get a match that has both her and Dan The Dad involved.

BASARA “BASARA 237 ~GRIND AN AXE TO MAKE A NEEDLE~”, 03/12/2023
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Takato Nakano Vs Yuko Miyamoto
2. Lil’ Kraken Vs The Great Sasuke
3. IRON FIST Tag Team Titles: Ryota Nakatsu & Kazusada Higuchi (c) Vs Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga
4. Union MAX Title: FUMA (c) Vs Isami Kodaka

Kodaka has the slight edge over FUMA after he pinned him with a Japanese Leg Roll Clutch yesterday. A flash pin from moves like that or the Samson Clutch is a danger that FUMA needs to watch out for.

The IRON FIST Tag Team are now shared between a BASARA wrestler and a DDT wrestler. Kazusada Higuchi for now has to bounce back and forth between the two promotions while representing the Harimao stable with Ryota Nakatsu. Their first title defence is against Speed Of Sounds and will be held on the same day as a DDT show. However Higuchi made sure that none of his D-Ou Grand Prix matches are taking place that day so he can concentrate on defending the belts without having to worry about his tournament run at the same time.

Two of BASARA’s younger wrestlers have each been given challenging opponents in an effort to make them step up and progress further. Lil’ Kraken grew up watching videos of The Great Sasuke and would love nothing more than to surpass the legend. Takato Nakano steps into the ring to fight Yuko Miyamoto. The match seems to be held under normal rules but if Miyamoto wants to make it hardcore, who is going to tell him no? Nakano would take on that challenge if he had to.

No matches announced yet for Abdullah Kobayashi and Hideyoshi Kamitani. They were already announced for the show along with Leo Isaka.

There’s only a few matches left for Yuka Sakazaki before she graduates from Tokyo Joshi Pro. The next one is what could be the last meeting of The Magical Sugar Rabbits and Daydream. The two teams were meant to face each other for the Princess Tag Team Titles back in June but Sakazaki’s neck injury prevented it from happening. Sakazaki said her neck is back in perfect condition so she can fight with all of her heart for her remaining matches. She wants to do the match with Daydream before she goes so it is happening in Osaka.

Both HIMAWARI and Toga made it to the next round of the Next Generation Tournament. It’s now between them, Shino Suzuki and Wakana Uehara in the race to the final being held next month.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT ’23 ~SHINO SUZUKI LOCAL TRIUMPH~”, 05/11/2023
Shizuoka Shimizu Marine Bill
224 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Arisu Endo defeated Haru Kazashiro with the Camel Clutch (6:46).
2. 3 Way Match: Pom Harajuku defeated Suzume and Kaya Toribami when Harajuku pinned Toribami with the Pom de Justice (7:30).
3. Hyper Misao defeated Runa Okubo with the Chickenwing Face Lock (7:49).
4. Mizuki & Toga defeated Yuki Aino & HIMAWARI when Mizuki submitted HIMAWARI with the Face Lock (11:15).
5. Miu Watanabe defeated Shino Suzuki with the Canadian Backbreaker (8:32).
6. Miyu Yamashita & Moka Miyamoto defeated Rika Tatsumi & Wakana Uehara when Yamashita pinned Uehara with the Attitude Adjustment (13:07).
7. Hikari Noa, Nao Kakuta & Yuka Sakazaki defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Raku & Mahiro Kiryu when Sakazaki pinned Kiryu with the Magical Merry-Go-Round (13:28).

Something Yuka Sakazaki wanted to do before she graduates from Tokyo Joshi Pro was to team up with Free WiFi and experience their good signals. She got to do that today when they beat Toyo Mates & Raku. However Yuki Kamifuku isn’t that thrilled to deal with Free WiFi. She always thought Hikari Noa was creepy and thinks she has become even creepier since she won the Princess Tag Team Titles with Nao Kakuta. Meanwhile Raku was upset at Mahiro Kiryu for badly singing a lullaby during the match. Kiryu apologised both afterwards and also backstage after Raku very gently punched her in the face.

The main story coming out of the show was Shino Suzuki celebrating her homecoming with a match against Miu Watanabe. It was a bout mostly dominated by Watanabe but Suzuki had her moments. Her main attempt at winning was to use a Sleeper Hold but Watanabe powered out of it and lifted her up into the Canadian Backbreaker to make her give up. Backstage Watanabe admits that Suzuki is clumsy (everyone noticed she wore her “She Know” kneepad upside down during The Up Up Girls opening musical number) but so was she when she started pro wrestling. By working hard, doing her best and having a strong spirit Watanabe was able to become an idol wrestler. That is the most important lesson Suzuki should learn from this. Suzuki said she came back to her home in Shizuoka with the dream of becoming an idol and it is starting to come true. She hasn’t accomplished anything in wrestling yet so her new goal is to achieve something so she can come back home with pride. Maybe the Next Generation Tournament will be where she achieves that goal.
