The main event ended in a draw but both Shoko Nakajima and Yuka Sakazaki were convinced that they won the match. They at least agreed to settle their argument on 4th January and invited the other girls out to show off their Christmas cosplays. Nakajima and Sakazaki talked over each other to give the show closing speech. This caused Rika Tatsumi to come in, slap the both of them and end the show by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Miyu Yamashita has now faced and beaten every member of the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) in singles matches.
The Ito Respect Army performed “Setsunairo” live for their entrance.
Hyper Misao wrestled the first match of her match dressed as a Christmas tree. She told Miu if she was a good girl this year because attacking a Christmas tree would make her a bad girl. Misao later tried to tape Miu’s arms together then made the trainee Mahiro wear the tree suit. When Miu freed herself she thought Mahiro was Misao and attacked her.

DDT “MITSUI CHOJI CO., LTD. PRESENTS CHIBA CITY MONORAIL WRESTLING”, 12/01/2019 Chiba Monorail Station
1. Falls Count Anywhere Throws Prohibited Battle Royal: Sanshiro Takagi Vs HARASHIMA Vs Konosuke Takeshita Vs Hiroshi Yamato Vs Shinya Aoki Vs X
Back in April 2017 DDT held a Battle Royal inside of a moving train circling around Nakano. Next month they will be trying the experiment again this time on a Chiba City Monorail. The plan is for two wrestlers to begin the match inside the monorail at 7 pm. A new wrestler enters the match at every stop on the journey. The monorail cars are attached below the track and can be held quite a distance above ground so all moves that involve throws, slams and downward shocks are prohibited for the safety of absolutely everything. DDT accepts that most of the match will have to consist of strikes, grapples and submission moves because of this. The seating capacity of the monorail is 24 people so only 24 tickets will be put on sale.
Hiroshi Yamato is one of the guest wrestlers taking part in the match. He promotes and wrestles regularly around Chiba ever since going freelance last April. Earlier this year he heard the monorail company was looking for an event so he came up with this idea and wanted DDT to get involved because of the success of their train match. Sanshiro Takagi is excited by the opportunity. He convinced Shinya Aoki to enter the match because the restricted rules will favour his fighting style.

7. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 – B Block: Konosuke Takeshita (4) defeated Shinya Aoki (c) (6) with the German Suplex (8:53). *Konosuke Takeshita becomes the 1,342nd champion.
A Block
1. Go Shiozaki (6)
-. Kazusada Higuchi (6)
3. Akito (4)
-. MAO (4)
-. Daisuke Sasaki (4)
-. Puma King (4)
-. HARASHIMA (4)
Shinya Aoki’s winning streak in DDT comes to an end but the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title continues to be the hot potato it is meant to be. Konosuke Takeshita decided to wrestle the main event barefoot so he would be on equal terms with Aoki. He avoided being counted down for a knockout after taking a Guillotine Choke. Takeshita was able to get in control with his Horizontal Chops, knocking down the champion and leaving him open for the German Suplex to end the match. The two bowed to each other and shook hands. Takeshita said that Aoki’s strengths is different from the DDT wrestlers. He felt that from watching Aoki win his other matches in DDT for what felt to him like forever. He wants Aoki to soak in the DDT world even more. This is the current strength of DDT’s wrestlers and Takeshita made a promise to the fans that everyone in DDT will always prove that this way of wrestling is the strongest.
The match between Daisuke Sasaki and HARASHIMA saw plenty of action outside the ring. Sasaki wrapped a chair around HARASHIMA’s upper body and threw him chair first into the ring post. Sasaki later hit a Topé Suicida for more damage. However HARASHIMA escaped from La Mistica Cross Facelock and hit the Reverse Frankensteiner. With Sasaki stunned, HARASHIMA hit a standing Somato followed by the regular Somato to beat the KO-D Openweight Champion. HARASHIMA noted that his neck was hurt bad by Sasaki’s attacks but the cheers in the venue spurred him on to victory. He still has a lot of work to do to climb to the top of A Block but he will not give up. Sasaki however is starting to crack now that his chances of winning the block are becoming slim.
The styles of Tetsuya Endo and Sammy Guevara are so similar that Endo called Sammy his alter ego after their match. An alter ego that didn’t get Endo’s permission to use his moves. Endo did the Tetsuya In The Sky, Guevara responded with his own Standing Spanish Fly. Endo did the Shooting Star Press and missed, Guevara hit his own Shooting Star and won. Guevara doesn’t care who he has left to face in his block. He says he is the best not just in Japan but in the world!
Kazusada Higuchi is now on a three match winning streak after losing his first two tournament bouts. Not even MAO’s tricky wrestling around the entrance stage was enough to stop Higuchi’s momentum. A Headbutt, a Torpedo Lariat and a Choke Slam left MAO fighting for survival until he was eventually put away with the Doctor Bomb. MAO thinks this is the kind of match-up that will some day be on top of the DDT pyramid. They wrestled each other in DNA, it moved up to the DDT midcard and some day it will to move up to the main event! While Higuchi appreciates the sentiment for DNA, he isn’t spending his time reminiscing about the past. He has a Grand Prix to win.
Puma King countered Akito’s Figure 4 Leglock attempt into a Romero Special. By the time he applied pressure by locking onto Akito’s jaw and pulling it down, Akito gave up. King calls Akito a tough opponent because of his focus on attacking legs and knees. King was happy to face someone like that because it gave him a chance to show off his submission repertoire to the DDT fans. Akito hopes King will come back so he can learn those kind of holds from him.
Hakata Star Lanes will be temporarily closing down next April to undergo earthquake-proof reconstruction. DDT, Tokyo Joshi Pro and Big Japan will each be holding special farewell shows for the venue in its current state on 31st March.

With Misaki Ohata’s retirement coming soon, she wants to leave her career with no regrets. That means before she quits she wants to have a match against her husband Makoto Oishi! Ohata says she only needs 10 minutes with Oishi and originally asked for a singles match. Oishi however wanted to team with Shiori Asahi in DDT again. Struck with inspiration, Oishi asked DDT to bring in Oishi’s friend Ryo Mizunami so they could team up as AvidRival one more time. That way the match will appeal to fans of DDT, K-DOJO and WAVE all at once.

7a. Maki Itoh pinned Miyu Yamashita with an Inside Cradle (4:43).
7b. Miyu Yamashita pinned Maki Itoh with a Backwards Kick (8:48).
7c. Shoko Nakajima pinned Yuka Sakazaki with the Diving Senton (5:27).
The big preview for 4th January saw the challengers team beat the champions side two falls to one. Maki Itoh surprised Miyu Yamashita by countering the Attitude Adjustment into an Inside Cradle to win the first fall. Yamashita took the second when she withstood a Headbutt from Itoh and knocked her down with a Backwards Kick. The deciding fall was focused on the two tag teams as the Magical Sugar Rabbits battled with Shoko Nakajima & Riho. Miscommunication between Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki allowed their opponents to give Sakazaki a Double Northern Lights Suplex. Nakajima then pinned Sakazaki with the Diving Senton to end the match. Itoh taunted Yamashita by telling her she looks nervous after the match while Itoh is still cute even after getting beaten up. Nakajima calmed things down by saying how fun the match was today. She said Tokyo Joshi Pro is now five years old. When they began they only had enough girls to put together three match shows. Now they have a big enough roster to do seven matches including 6-Women Tags! She hopes Tokyo Joshi will last for another 10, 15 or even 100 years and continue to grow bigger in the process.
Yuu has spent three and a half years of her life with Tokyo Joshi and today it came to an end. In her last match for the group she defeated her generational opposite Nodoka Tenma. Yuu said she had fun learning in Tokyo Joshi but would like to take full advantage of this opportunity to wrestle freelance and overseas. She’d be lying if she said she doesn’t feel lonely and perhaps she may become a totally different person when she comes back to Japan. Yuu thanked everyone for supporting her and for coming to see her last match in the company.
The debuting YUMI showed she is more powerful than she looks by giving Saki Akai a modified Choke Slam. However Akai stopped her with a Big Boot and trapped YUMI in a Leg & Face Lock to make the rookie tap out. Akai is interested in seeing how the 14 year old YUMI will develop from here. Akai also finds it interesting to see more tall girls entering Tokyo Joshi. YUMI thought the match was so tough that she would die. But she didn’t die, she came back. YUMI hopes she can become a pro wrestler that fans will want to support and see win. From the beginning YUMI wanted to make the Choke Slam her big move so she’s happy she got to use that. She also learned from Akai that adults don’t always have to act serious.
Hyper Misao came out with new music and a new plan. She wants to form a Hero Army to find her successor. She gave hero masks to Yuki Aino and Hinano and told them the match was an audition to find candidates. Aino and Hinano then decided to gang up on Misao instead. Misao tried to tell each of them they passed just so they would ease off but neither wanted to join her. Misao was able to roll Hinano over with a School Boy and used the ropes for leverage to steal the win.
Pom Harajuku got her first win today by beating her fellow rookie Haruna Neko.
Marika Kobashi announced her return match will be on 4th January. She was wearing an eyepatch because she got a stye in her left eye a few days ago.
The Bakuretsu Sisters will be releasing two photobooks on 4th January.
Tokyo Joshi’s next Korakuen Hall show after January will be on 3rd May.

After yesterday’s show he decided to go after the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles currently held by the STRONG HEARTS. Unfortunately news has since come out that Shunma Katsumata is now out of action with a right orbital and cheek bone fracture so there is no date scheduled yet for the title match.
Danshoku Dieno is also on the injury list. When his memory returned so to did all of his neck, shoulder and back problems. He is taking a few weeks off to get some rest.

– Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Tetsuya Koda defeated Sayuri Nanba (c) with a Sleeper Hold (6:56 pm). *Tetsuya Koda becomes the 1,336th champion.
Maki Itoh had been losing confidence since her humiliating submission defeat to Miyu Yamashita last week so she was happy to win today. In fact Itoh thanked Yamashita for dropping her back down to the bottom so she can climb up and become stronger. Itoh pointed at Yuki Aino and told her she is the same after failing to win the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles. That makes Itoh and Aino bottom buddies. They will both crawl from the bottom to get to the top. Itoh asked the crowd who is the 2nd cutest in the world. It’s Aino! And who is the 1st cutest? It’s Itoh!
Shoko Nakajima Vs Yuu ended in a draw but neither will forget the match anytime soon. Nakajima especially because her chest was left raw by Yuu’s chops. Yuu is grateful that she got to wrestle Nakajima one on one before she goes freelance. Yuu is inspired because Nakajima will always fight no matter if she wins or loses. Nakajima regrets not winning the match because she has never beaten Yuu. She hopes they will fight again some day.
Rika Tatsumi came out after intermission to sing her entrance song. Sayuri Nanba knocked her out mid-performance and pinned her to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Later when the show had just finished, the GM Tetsuya Koda ambushed Nanba and made her submit to a Sleeper Hold to become the new champion. He ran away with the belt while everyone booed him.
When Haruna Neko debuted she made fun of Nakajima’s height by reaching too high for a test of strength. Today Yuna Manase did the same to Haruna.
The debuting Pom Harajuku acted very playful with Yuka Sakazaki. She said the match felt like it came and went in an instant. She couldn’t do 100% of what she wanted to do but she had fun out there.
A new trainee introduced herself to the audience before the show began. Unagi had never seen pro wrestling before discovering Tokyo Joshi Pro. She debuts on 4th January and is part of the same class as Haruna, Harajuku, Yumi and one other girl who has yet to introduce herself. Unagi said she cannot wait until all five have made their debut.
