Tokyo Korakuen Hall

6. DDT 20th Anniversary Special Single Match That Danshoku Producer Wants To Show Everyone: HARASHIMA Vs KUDO
7. KO-D Openweight Title, DDT Extreme Title & Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title – 3 Way Match: Konosuke Takeshita (K/c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki (E/c) Vs Ken Ohka (I/c)

Producer Danshoku Dino explained why he decided to make the HARASHIMA Vs KUDO match. If Sanshiro Takagi, NOSAWA Rongai and MIKAMI were the most important figures in DDT’s creation then HARASHIMA and KUDO are the most important wrestlers for the rest of the 20 year history of the company. Dino wants to see who is the stronger of the two in today’s DDT. HARASHIMA thinks the winner of this match can have a claim to be the No. 1 Contender for the KO-D Openweight Title. KUDO is confident he will win because he beat HARASHIMA in their last singles match together.

For the 3 Way Match main event, KUDO predicts Ken Ohka will find a way to win. Ohka famously won the KO-D Title from KUDO back in 2015 by using his Right To Challenge title shot in the middle of KUDO’s defence against Yasu Urano, turning it into a 3 Way in the process. Ohka pinned Urano to become the champion. His plan worked perfectly but KUDO had his own Right To Challenge Contract and cashed it in to immediately win back the championship. KUDO thinks the landscape of the upcoming main event changes completely with the addition of Ohka. He knows Ohka will have a trick up his sleeve to win somehow.

A weird moment happened at the “NON-FIX ~ 9.13 ~” show a few days ago. Muscle Sakai and Super Sasadango Machine were in the ring together at the same time. It was odd because nobody had ever seen them in the same place before. Sasadango explained in an unusual voice that he hired Sakai as a subcontractor to help Producer Dino with his busy schedule. Sakai’s role is to produce the first ever singles match between Dino Vs Sasadango. Dino is allowing this because Sakai is such an indispensable part of DDT history. Sasadango shocked both Sakai and Dino by revealing that the match is now a Loser Leaves House match! Whoever loses must leave their home and move somewhere else! Sakai got mad because he, er, Sasadango just bought his house in Niigata. When asked why he would make that stipulation, Sasadango said it’s because he lived in Niigata for many years and should move to Tokyo even though he doesn’t want to. But he is also determined not to lose the match. He came up with this stipulation only because the match needs a bet. Sakai admitted he’d like to make Dino move to a new house so the stipulation was accepted!

Ganbare☆Wrestling only visits Osaka a couple of times a year so when Ohka found out he had an opportunity to wrestle MIYAWAKI, he couldn’t say no. If Ohka is still the Independent World Jr. Champion then he will defend the title against him.

Yumehito Imanari is still upset over the lack of plump women in Ganpuro so he’s making his match with Sumire Natsu and HARUKAZE a Double Sweet Death Match! Candy will be everywhere for this one. He was hoping Viper would get booked because she is in Japan for a Stardom tour. He’d be happy to book Toni Storm too. She doesn’t seem to be his type but he likes her face. Ohka is refusing to book them for the show because they already have Natsu and HARUKAZE.

Promoter Fumihiko Uwai will be attending the show to do some ring announcing and also select Dai Suzuki’s opponent.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SHINKIBA DE BAKOON!” Results

September 9, 2017

Shin-Kiba 1st RING
285 Fans – Super No Vacancy

1. Cherry defeated Marika Kobashi with the Jukujo Dawn! (5:41).
2. Yuna Manase defeated Yuki Kamifuku with the Kakato Drop (7:50).
3. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Round 1: Rika Tatsumi & Maho Kurone defeated Yuu & Nodoka-oneesan when Tatsumi pinned Nodoka with the Missile Hips (11:34).
4. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Round 1: Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima defeated Azusa Takigawa & Nonoko when Nakajima pinned Takigawa with a Jackknife Pin (12:30).
5. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Round 1: Maki Itoh & Mizuki defeated Reika Saiki & Miyu Yamashita when Mizuki pinned Saiki with the Aquamarine (12:44).

A big upset was the highlight for the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament first round. The Itoh Respect Army of Maki Itoh & Mizuki went over one of the strongest teams of the tournament, at least on paper, Muscle Strikers. Itoh took Miyu Yamashita out of the match by catching a kick and countering it with a Headbutt. That left Itoh free to cut off Reika Saiki’s Tower Brigde to Mizuki. Itoh then grabbed Saiki’s legs to prevent her from doing the Shining Wizard to Mizuki. Saiki fought out of Itoh’s grasp and set Mizuki up for the Jackhammer but Mizuki countered it into the Aquamarine Crucifix Pin for the shock three count. This means Mizuki now has a claim to be the No. 1 contender for the TOKYO Princess Title. Afterwards Itoh said their chase for the championship is a lot like the race between the turtle and the rabbit. She then asked the audience who is cuter than the rabbit? Itoh-chan! Who is cuter than the turtle? Itoh-chan! Who after Itoh is the second cutest? Mizuki!

The semi-finals are on 16th September are Miraclians Vs Itoh Respect Army and Trick Student Vs Dragon Bombers.

TOKYO Princess Tag Title Tournament

August 30, 2017

The brand new TOKYO Tag Team Championships are up for grabs in a 7 team tournament taking place over the next two months. A lottery was held to determine the first round matches as well as which team would get a bye into the semi-final. The competing teams are:

Muscle Strikers: Reika Saiki & Miyu Yamashita
Miraclians: Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima
BRAVE☆MATES: Yuu & Nodoka-oneesan
Dragon Bombers: Rika Tatsumi & Maho Kurone
Ito Respect Army: Maki Ito & Mizuki
Konkatsu-gun: Azusa Takigawa & Nonoko
trick student: Yuna Manase & Marika Kobashi

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SHINKIBA DE BAKOON!”, 09/09/2017
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Round 1A: Maki Ito & Mizuki Vs Reika Saiki & Miyu Yamashita
2. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Round 1B: Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima Vs Azusa Takigawa & Nonoko
3. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Round 1C: Yuu & Nodoka-oneesan Vs Rika Tatsumi & Maho Kurone

Mizuki says she usually feels anxious when she wrestles on her own. But she’s never scared when she’s with Maki Ito. Ito is so brave that she originally wanted to fight on her own against three opponents! Reika Saiki recently won the TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title and wants the Tag Title belt to throw over her other shoulder. Miyu Yamashita just doesn’t want to lose to two girls with weird ribbons in their hair.

The Miraclians are the longest serving tag team in Tokyo Joshi Pro. They were originally called the Fighting Comedians but both Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima feel that they have matured a lot since then so they are now the Miracle Comedians, or Miraclians for short. Together they can achieve miracles and can conquer the world! Azusa Takigawa thinks Konkatsu-gun are in luck because the title belts are colored pink and silver, the colours of love. Nonoko thinks the belts were literally made for her & Takigawa.

Nodoka-oneesan says it takes just as much courage to fight with your friends by your side than it is to fight on your own. So that’s why her team with Yuu is called BRAVE☆MATES. The Dragon Bombers would prefer the belts to be blood red so Maho Kurone could eat them. Rika Tatsumi hopes to win the title with Kurone so they can edit Kurone’s Wikipedia page to say she won this and also the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. If only Tatsumi could figure out how to edit Wikipedia pages first…

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “YOKOHAMA DE BAKOON!”, 16/09/2017
Yokohama Radiant Hall

1. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Semi Final: Winners Of Match 1A Vs Winners Of Match 1B
2. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Tournament – Semi Final: Yuna Manase & Marika Kobashi Vs Winners Of Match 1C

trick student is the sole team that are already in the semi final. Marika Kobashi thinks she is the cutest in Tokyo Joshi and deserves the cutest championship so she will fight hard to win this title with Yuna Manase. Their team name comes from their costume colours, Kobashi’s orange and Manase’s purple, being suitable for Hallowe’en. They are also both students in different schools (Kobashi in high school and Manase in vocational school). Thus they are two students who wants to play tricks.

2. Idol Lumberjack Death Match: Maki Itoh defeated Azusa Takigawa with a Retractable Crab Hold (8:52). (Referee: Sanshiro Takagi)
3. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Future Girl 3 Way Match: Yuu (c) defeated Nodoka-oneesan and Marika Kobashi when Yuu pinned Nodoka with the Last Ride (8:14).
*V1 for Yuu.
4. International Single Match: Shoko Nakajima defeated Solo Darling with the Northern Lights Suplex (10:50).
5. Special Single Match: Meiko Satomura defeated Miyu Yamashita by TKO with a Sleeper Hold (10:47).
6. Dream Dragon Bombers Vs NEO Biishiki-gun: Rika Tatsumi, Maho Kurone & Shiro Koshinaka defeated Saki-sama, Martha & Yukio Saint Laurent when Tatsumi pinned Saki-nami with the Hip Attack (10:36).
7. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Reika Saiki defeated Yuka Sakazaki (c) with the Jackhammer (14:13).
*Yuka Sakazaki fails in V1. Reika Saiki becomes the 4th TOKYO Princess Of Princess Champion!

Reika Saiki is now the top girl of Tokyo Joshi Pro after becoming the new TOKYO Princess Of Princess Champion! Fortune was on her side when she previously beat the champion Yuka Sakazaki in the final of the Tokyo Princess Cup earlier this month. Success came again when Saiki rolled away from Sakazaki’s Magical Girl Splash. She then hit two Shining Wizards and the Jackhammer to win the championship. Saiki said when she discovered her muscles and then discovered pro wrestling it was a dream combination for her.

In preparation for the confrontation between the Dragon Bombers and NEO Biishiki-gun, Rika Tatsumi has spent her days training her hips to become more powerful. After all, she was going to team with the Hip Attack master Shiro Koshinaka. The training paid off when Tatsumi pinned Saki-sama with the Hip Attack while Koshinaka and Maho Kurone kept the rest of the opposition at bay. Saki-nami protested by saying it was only a two count but fainted when she realised she lost.

Miyu Yamashita went into her match against Meiko Satomura with something to prove. Satomura wasn’t impressed with Yamashita when they last fought at “JUDGEMENT 2017” back in March. Yamashita tried her best but was put away with the Death Valley Bomb followed by a Sleeper Hold. After the match Satomura waited for Yamashita to stand back up before gesturing at her to come over. Yamashita slapped Satomura across the face and demanded a rematch. Impressed by her courage, Satomura honoured Yamashita for a good match and left.

Shoko Nakajima defeated Sojo Darling in Darling’s first match for Tokyo Joshi Pro. The two bonded over their costumes and were full of praise for each other afterwards. Nakajima called Darling an “amazing monster” and is excited to discover how many more exist overseas. If Darling travelled all the way to Japan then Nakajima thinks she can go wrestle abroad too. Darling said Nakajima is a wonderful athlete and her Northern Lights Suplex is a tremendous finishing move.

Yuu overcame the numbers disadvantage to beat Marika Kobashi and Nodoka-oneesan in an Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title defence. Yuu thanked the fans for supporting her as she achieved her dream of winning and defending the championship. She was interrupted by DDT Producer Danshoku Dino. He said he didn’t want to go near Tokyo Joshi Pro because he doesn’t like girls but he had to come here for business reasons. He told Yuu that the next scheduled defence of the Iron Man Title will be at DDT’s next Korakuen Hall show on 24th September in a Battle Royal. So if Yuu is still the champion she will have to be there. Both Kobashi and Nodoka tried to sneak pins on Yuu when Dino was finished but she escaped from both of them.

Azusa Takigawa and Maki Itoh finally settled their grudge in an Idol Lumberjack Death Match. NωA and Cheer♥1 were the lumberjacks and they were all armed with Pico Pico Hammers to attack the wrestlers whenever they were outside the ring. Sanshiro Takagi was also there as the referee. Itoh entered to a LinQ song but she demanded to cut it off because she was fired from the group. So she sang “I’m Not In Love Anymore” by Makihara Noriyuki for the rest of the entrance until Takigawa attacked her. The two fought out of the ring and ran away from the lumberjacks up to the entrance stage. Takagi followed them and hit both of them over the head with his Pico Pico Hammer to make them return to the ring. Itoh put Takigawa in a Crab Hold but Takigawa reached the ropes. Itoh pulled her away and changed the submission into an Elevated Crab Hold to make Takigawa give up. Itoh told all the lumberjacks to go home because they weren’t needed anymore. They all threw their hammers at her.

Yuki Kamifuku came out for her debut match wearing sunglasses, a ten gallon hat and hot pants. She was pinned by Mizuki with the Cutie Special. In her backstage interview Kamifuku complained about being sore and tired. She also wanted to go drink some sake but was warned it is against the rules for Tokyo Joshi wrestlers do drink alcohol.

The TOKYO Princess Tag Team Title belts were shown off in public for the first time. A single elimination tournament will be held in September and October to determine the first champions. The 7 teams announced are:

Muscle Strikers: Reika Saiki & Miyu Yamashita
Miraclians: Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima

Both MAO & Rekka have been victims of attacks by the mysterious Full Face. MAO blames Naomi Yoshimura for being involved in the mystery too. He was already determined to unmask Full Face and discover the biker’s real identity but is even more so now that DNA has promised to refund tickets to people who do not enjoy the show.

Keisuke Okuda’s comments about about the DNA roster being lukewarm talents has ruffled some feathers. Both Kouki Iwasaki & Nobuhiro Shimatani would be happy to prove him wrong. Even Mizuki Watase would rather fight him than team with him. But Watase promises to bring an exciting fight for Iwasaki & Shimatani out of respect for them. Okuda has called the three of them elementary students and he will teach them all how to fight properly.

Koju Takeda is from Triple Six.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “~AT THIS TIME, EXCITEMENT IN ITABASHI~” Results

August 12, 2017

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “~AT THIS TIME, EXCITEMENT IN ITABASHI~”, 12/08/2017
Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall
180 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Mizuki defeated Marika Kobashi with the Cutie Special (7:10).
2. Shoko Nakajima defeated Nodoka-oneesan with the Northern Lights Suplex (8:40).
3. Rika Tatsumi & Maho Kurone defeated Azusa Takigawa & Nonoko when Kurone pinned Takigawa with the Ouroboros (12:34).
4. Yuu defeated Yuna Manase with the Katahajime (8:17).
5. Yuka Sakazaki & Miyu Yamashita defeated Reika Saiki & Maki Ito when Yamashita pinned Ito with the Attitude Adjustment (15:40).

Miyu Yamashita & Yuka Sakazaki had different responses to their team winning in the main event. Yamashita was surprised by Maki Ito kicking out of a Head Kick and this drove her to finish the match with the Attitude Adjustment. Sakazaki meanwhile was in an excited mood because her team won the match and she continues to be a strong champion. She asked Yamashita if she will beat Meiko Satomura on 26th August. Sakazaki then asked Reika Saiki if she is willing to win. Saiki said she is but Sakazaki told her she won’t. Sakazaki will win but losing to her is nothing to be ashamed of.

Tokyo Joshi Pro will soon get its own Tag Team Championships. The TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles will be up for grabs in a three show tournament taking place in September and October. Round 1 will be held on 9th September in Shin-Kiba, the semi-finals will be in Yokohama on 16th September and the champions will be crowned at the final in Yokohama on 14th October.

Rika Tatsumi thinks she needs to improve her Hip Attacks so she promises to make her butt stronger. Her goals for the rest of the year is to vanquish NEO Biishiki-gun and win the Tag Titles with Maho Kurone.

NEO Biishiki-gun were in attendance but just for an autograph signing. Saki-nami told the fans if they want to see the unit wrestle they should come to the Korakuen Hall show. She also teased Hyper Misao for being lonely and having nothing to do over at the merchandise table during shows.

Back during Beer Garden week, the GM Tetsuya Koda won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title from Cherry. The side effect of this was Koda now had to defend the title in the upcoming Tokyo Joshi Battle Royal at DDT’s big Sumo Hall show. He teased an announcement regarding his position to be revealed at the end of this show. Koda explained he pinned Cherry because he wanted to make sure the title stays in Tokyo Joshi. He thought about passing the title over to one of the women but he couldn’t decide who. He loves them all and all of them are cute. So Koda’s announcement is he will keep the title for himself! He dared everyone to try and take it from him. But they won’t and he will bring the belt with him to a handshake party with singer Maria Makino soon to impress her.

The biker mystery in DNA continues and Naomi Yoshimura seems to be involved in it. The biker, now going by the name Full Face, was unmasked as Dai Suzuki during DNA’s Beer Garden show. But that makes no sense because the biker had interacted with Suzuki in front of the audience earlier in the show. Yoshimura said this is all to make DNA more interesting and he seems to enjoy it. In fact, if anybody attending the event thinks it was a boring show then DNA promises to give them a full refund.

8. Pro Wrestling Koshien 2017 – Final: X Vs X

The story surrounding this tournament is a mystery biker going around and attacking the participants. It started when the person attacked Dai Suzuki and Rekka at the qualifying match held in DDT’s dojo. Then at yesterday’s Beer Garden show the person returned and attacked MAO. Who is this person and what is their goal?

Now the stakes are high for Sanshiro Takagi Vs Danshoku Dino. Dino wants full control of DDT if he wins. But Dino’s mother wants him to settle down so if Takagi wins, Dino must get married. This will be settled with a Weapon Rumble match, the first to happen in DDT since 2014. At set times, a new weapon is brought into the match and often these weapons can be anything from objects to famous wrestlers. With this being a 20 year celebration for DDT don’t be surprised if some faces from the past appear.

The full squads for the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles match are now known and what a glut of insanity it is!
