4. Legendary Man Jet Resurrected Here! Nagoya Specialty 6-Man Tag Match – Technical Jet Rules: HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi & Shogo Takagi defeated Danshoku Dino, Keisuke Ishii & Antonio Honda when Takagi pinned Honda with the Technical Jet (13:10).
5. From Nagoya World! Special Single Match: Shigehiro Irie defeated Soma Takao with the Beast Bomber (12:23).
6. ALL OUT Vs DAMNATION!: Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Akito when Sasaki pinned Takeshita with the Sasaki Hurricanrana (16:01).

Daisuke Sasaki avenged yesterday’s result by pinning Konosuke Takeshita in today’s main event. Sasaki caught Takeshita with his flash Hurricanrana for the sudden three count. After the match Sasaki said that yesterday he borrowed from Ken Ohka but today he gave it back. He offered a handshake to Takeshita and convinced him that today he is different. Of course, he was lying and he kicked Takeshita between the legs during the handshake. Sasaki taunted Takeshita for not knowing any better then said he values the DDT Extreme Title over the KO-D Openweight Title.

I think this is Shigehiro Irie’s final DDT show before his next tour of America. He won his last match and is still on good terms with his opponent Soma Takao. Irie said it is important for both of their generation to grow up. He knows he will grow stronger in America and he hopes Takao will grow stronger too while he is gone. Then they can fight again when Irie comes home.

Disaster BOX were reunited to celebrate the return of Shogo “Jet” Takagi to a DDT ring. HARASHIMA marked the occasion by wearing his old Disaster BOX gear (which was pretty much the Darkside HERO! costume without the mask). Danshoku Dino said after ten years he and Takagi will get to settle their grudge. He then suggested the match to be fought under Technical Jet Rules. The winner is the first wrestler to use Takagi’s wind up punch finisher. It is necessary for the person to do four punches and yell “Jet!” during each punch. Then they had to wind up the fifth punch and hit it to win. Takagi and Antonio Honda got into a duel between Jet Punches and Bionic Elbows. It ended with Takagi coming out on top and hitting the final punch to win the match for Disaster BOX. HARASHIMA said in the post match speech that when he was in Disaster BOX he took part in more serious matches. But it was a pleasure to have fun with his old friends again.

Kazuki Hirata was accompanied by members of AED Medical Pro Wrestling in the opening match. The group promotes medical care through pro wrestling and music.

This match was unexpectedly put together by Hisaya Imabayashi, much to Dino’s surprise.

The ace team of HARASHIMA & Naomichi Marufuji are going after the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Daisuke Sasaki and Akito will battle not just for the DDT Extreme Title but also their hair. The first ever KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Champions will be crowned because we don’t know the meaning of overkill. There’s still some things to sort out but that will happen over the course of Beer Garden week.

A figure from DDT’s past is set to return later this year. Shogo “Jet” Takagi was part of the DDT roster during the mid 2000’s but disappeared into the indie scene. His last known match was for Kohaku Pro Wrestling on February 2014 and DDT is advertising this appearance as his first match in 3 years and 7 months. Takagi’s name was mentioned by HARASHIMA and Toru Owashi when they teamed together earlier this month. The three of them were a part of Disaster-BOX, a heel unit that were kind of similar to what you would find throughout the history of Toryumon and Dragon Gate. That makes sense when you realise both Owashi and Takagi came from Toryumon’s system. HARASHIMA asked Owashi if he still had Takagi’s phone number. Looks like he did.

Yoshihiro Takayama was happy to beat ALL OUT without needing Danshoku Dino on his team today. Having Shigehiro Irie more than made up for it. Irie took out Konosuke Takeshita with the Traffic Accident Tackle so Takayama could put the boots in to Akito. Takayama said he wasn’t part of a championship team today but they still won.

MAO put up a spirited fight against HARASHIMA but couldn’t put the veteran away. He had the Somato scouted and countered the move with a Cradle but HARASHIMA kicked out. Another Cradle was blocked, leaving MAO defenceless. HARASHIMA caught him with a Buzzsaw Kick and this time hit the Somato to win. MAO is pleased with the opportunities he has been getting. In the last few months he’s had matches with HARASHIMA, KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi, Dick Togo and coming up soon TAKA Michinoku in DNA. He wants to hit the Alien Plancha perfectly on TAKA.

Daisuke Sasaki was the better man against Antonio Honda today. Even Honda admitted he wanted to give up when his first lock up with Sasaki ended in failure. The only thing that kept Honda motivated was the story of Cinderella because he had thought about it the night before. However Sasaki came out on top when he countered the Bionic Elbow with the flash Hurricanrana for the three count. Sasaki called it a perfect victory because he didn’t break a sweat. He told Honda that he will have to go extreme if he wants to win the DDT Extreme Title. None of this fairytale crap!

Royce Isaacs and his Miracle Ass are leaving a trail of broken arms in his wake. Dino had him demonstrate his power by using it to break Amon Tsurumi’s arm at the start of the show. Makoto Oishi was the next victim but two of his friends from the backstage staff volunteered to sacrifice their arms to protect him. Later in their match, Oishi tried to rescue Shunma Katsumata from suffering the same fate but Dino knocked him out with the Danshoku Driver. That left Katsumata helpless and Isaacs pinned him with the Zenith. Dino challenged NωA to a KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles Match on 28th May afterwards. Since Takayama is already in the KO-D Openweight Title Match, Dino is bringing in Keisuke Ishii to be the IGF’s third man.

With Kazuki Hirata no longer in the country, T2Hide went in search of somebody to replace him in the group. Early suggestions included Ultraman Robin and Mammoth Handa but they eventually found the perfect replacement. The new member is Hirata’s cousin from Italy, Hirata Collection A.T.! He had a successful debut match. Midway through he paused so he could put on a pair of 2007 shaped glasses and perform a catwalk strut. Masahiro Takanashi cut him off but Hirata then trapped him in the Hirata Lock for the victory. The move is just like the A.T. Lock but with added finger bending to add that little extra oomph. Takanashi was angry at losing to Hirata and threatened to find out who he really is in Toyonaka tomorrow.

Yasu Urano Becomes A Freelancer, Golden Week Schedule, Ganpuro Nonsense

Yasu Urano announced yesterday that he will no longer be affiliated with DDT and will be going freelance at the end of May. Urano has been wrestling for 17 years and has been with DDT for the last ten. He wants to expand his horizons with the remaining time he has left as a wrestler. He has no concrete plan for the future but there are many wrestlers out there that he has never fought before. Sanshiro Takagi encouraged him to consider wrestling abroad. He also suggested Urano to set up his own group and call it either Socrates or Wrestle Socrates because Urano is a wrestling philosopher. Urano had already gone over his decision with the rest of Smile Squash before going public. HARASHIMA didn’t believe him the first time he was told. The second time Urano told him he assured that he wasn’t quitting pro wrestling. As for Soma Takao, Urano didn’t know what to tell him so he just sent him a LINE message saying “Sorry”. He will still be a part of Smile Squash until he goes freelance but what will happen to that relationship afterwards is anyone’s guess. Urano still intends to make appearances for DDT here and there. He confirmed that he will a part of “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2017” on 20th August.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi is boasting of his abilities with his clear, easy to understand English spoken in an obviously American accent. He call himself the best stripper and best wrestler in the world with a perfect body that Ryota Nakatsu cannot beat. Nakatsu doesn’t believe a word that comes out of Ryuichi’s mouth. He is convinced it is really Ryuichi Kawamura playing a character. Regardless it is Nakatsu’s desire to win the Union MAX Title that drives him. He watched the belt be defended in Union Pro but never progressed far enough to challenge for the title before Union closed down.

Isami Kodaka has two matches to prepare for on the show. He will be the first opponent for the debuting rookie Takato Nakano. Then later in the show he faces the Big Japan golem Yuji Okabayashi in a first time singles match. When thinking up strategies for the match Kodaka came to the conclusion that it will be impossible to beat Okabayashi in a straightforward wrestling match.
