2. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Shoko Nakajima defeated Hyper Misao with the Northern Lights Suplex (7:46).
3. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Yuu defeated Akane Miura by TKO with a Katahajime (7:31).
4. Special Rules: Yuka Sakazaki & KANNA defeated Nonoko & Rika Tatsumi when KANNA pinned Nonoko with the 50$ent (12:17).
5. Miyu Yamashita & Marika Kobashi defeated Reika Saiki & Azusa Takigawa when Yamashita pinned Takigawa with the Attitude Adjustment (10:55).
6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Final: Yuu defeated Shoko Nakajima with the Cross Armbreaker (17:12).

The winner of this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup is Yuu! No, not you. Yuu! She’s only been wrestling in Tokyo Joshi Pro for 8 months but in that time Yuu has been undefeated and nobody has been able to match her skill. Akane Miura offered a challenge in the semi-final with her power based offence but Yuu choked her out with the Katahajime to win. In the other semi-final Hyper Misao took on last year’s winner Shoko Nakajima. Misao wanted the match to have a One Count Pinfall rule so she could save her energy for the final. The rule was rejected and Misao was told to continue the match when she pinned Nakajima for one second. Misao’s recent streak of upset wins ended here and Nakajima went on to the final. Yuu kicked out of the Northern Lights Suplex and wore down Nakajima until she tapped from a Cross Armbreaker. Yuu said becoming a pro wrestler is a dream come true but now she has a new dream. She asked Miyu Yamashita for a TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title shot. Yamashita accepted the challenge and set the match for 22nd September.

Yamashita has another target in her sights. She’s interested in fighting Reika Saiki one on one. Saiki herself thinks she has found a rival in Yamashita.

Summer time was the theme of Match #4. Each girl took part in the match while wearing yukatas. They also each brought out a weapon that is related to summer vacations. Rika Tatsumi had a beach volleyball, Yuka Sakazaki had a water ring, Nonoko had a watermelon and KANNA carried a water pistol. After the match KANNA announced she will graduate from Tokyo Joshi on 22nd September. She will have one more match with Miyu Yamashita on 31st August. She also invited Saki Akai and Ai Shimizu to attend her graduation ceremony.

Maho Kurone is the newest wrestler to debut for Tokyo Joshi. She wears a black costume to go along with her name. She has no sports history but wanted to join Tokyo Joshi when she saw their show at last year’s Beer Garden series. Nodoka-oneesan tried to beat her with the Back Flip but Kuron escaped and hit a Swinging Reverse Neckbreaker to win her debut match. Kuron didn’t feel quite happy afterwards but thinks people will enjoy her personality. She said she wants to fight Akane Miura sometime.

1. Rounds Match: Daisuke Sasaki Vs Masahiro Takanashi ended in a Time Limit Draw (12R).
2. Fat Lumberjack Match: Shuji Ishikawa Vs Nobuhiro Shimatani ended in a No Contest (9:16). (Lumberjacks: Mad Paulie, Gota Ihashi)
3. Survival Anywhere Blindfold Bra 4 Way Match: Yoshiko defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Antonio Honda and Toru Owashi (17:32).
3a. Yoshiko eliminated Toro Owashi when Yoshiko stripped off Owashi’s bra (12:53).
3b. Yoshiko eliminated Daisuke Sasaki and Antonio Honda when Yoshiko stripped off both Sasaki and Honda’s bras at the same time (17:32).
4. Hardcore 6-Man Tag Team Match: Shuji Ishikawa, Mad Paulie & Tetsuya Endo defeated Masashi Takeda, Kazusada Higuchi & Choun-Shiryu when Endo pinned Shiryu with the Sky Twister Press (20:12).

Daisuke Sasaki wasted no time when it came to getting drinks during the DAMNATION part of Beer Garden week. It seemed that he had a cup of beer with him every time he appeared in the ring. But there was no time for nonsense in the main event. DAMNATION wasn’t taking things easy because they put themselves in a 6-Man Hardcore Tag Team Match. Their opponents Masashi Takeda, Kazusada Higuchi & Choun-Shiryu brought out a ladder, a table and a wok to use as weapons. DAMNATION were armed with bamboo swords. Tetsuya Endo hit a No Touch Tope that led to a brawl around ringside. Shiryu responded by climbing the ladder and delivering a Flying Kung Fu Kick to Endo. Takeda then Body Slammed Endo onto the ladder back in the ring. Further damage was given to Endo after a Diving Senton from Takeda and a Diving Single Foot Stomp from Shiryu off the ladder. However Endo survived the onslaught and put down Shiryu with the Torture Rack Bomb. The Sky Twister Press afterwards won the match for DAMNATION. Endo told everyone that Takeda’s birthday was tomorrow so he wished him a happy birthday. Takeda thanked him and said the match was so much fun. Sasaki then went on a rant saying he is sick of all the marriage proposals that are happening in Beer Garden this year. They don’t care about marriage, they’re too busy making he entire world revolve around DAMNATION!

One person in the Blindfold Bra match had an advantage over everyone else. Yoshiko was the only wrestler wearing their bra underneath their wrestling gear. Her three male opponents normally wrestle topless so their bras were all vulnerable from being stripped. It took around fifteen minutes but Yoshiko was able to strip the bras off all of her opponents to win. Antonio Honda thought he had his hand on her but it was actually Daisuke Kiso. When he pulled off Kiso’s shirt it was revealed Kiso was wearing a bra underneath.

Shuji Ishikawa has to lose some water weight for his KO-D Openweight Title Match in Sumo Hall. So he was put in a match made specifically to make him sweat. His opponent Nobuhiro Shimatani came up with a secret plan to help him sweat. He bribed Mad Paulie with a frankfurter and also Daisuke Kiso with a baseball card of Takahiro Arai from the Hiroshima Toyo Carp to be on his side. Together they were able to put force a heavy jacket onto Ishikawa to make him sweat. Paulie also found a blanket and woolly hat to put on Ishikawa. Gota Ihashi then found a bottle of lotion and poured it over Ishikawa to heat him up even more. Unfortunately that made the ring canvas too slippery to stand on and the match had to be called off.

Sasaki and Masahiro Takanashi fought in a rounds match where both of them had to drink a cup of beer after every round. Each round was only 30 seconds long. In the little time they had between drinking they did try to wrestle but in the end the round limit was reached and a draw was called. Both Sasaki and Takanashi cried and went to hug each other. Sasaki then Low Blowed Takanashi. Takanashi Low Blowed Sasaki in return.

2. Akito Produce Match: “Danshoku Dino” (Kazuki Hirata) defeated “Kazuki Hirata” (Nobuhiro Shimatani) with the Danshoku Driver (13:11).
3. 3 Way Match: Yasu Urano defeated HARASHIMA and Akito when Urano pinned Akito with a Crucifix Pin (20:48).

Beer Garden Day 4’s evening show was put together by Smile Squash. All three members fought each other in the main event. The finish was wild when HARASHIMA hit the Somato on Yasu Urano. Akito tried to steal the pin but Urano kicked out. HARASHIMA hit a Jumping High Kick to Akito followed by a Buzzsaw Kick to Urano. However Akito caught HARASHIMA in mid-air during a Swan Dive Somato attempt. Akito gave HARASHIMA the Kinniku Big Move and went for the pin but Urano then hooked onto Akito’s arms and rolled him over for the three count out of nowhere. Because Urano won the match the other two let him give most of the closing speech.

Danshoku Dino caused some mischief during the opening introductions. He kept trying to touch Kazuki Hirata’s butt. Nobuhiro Shimatani tried to stop him but what ended up happening was all three bumped their heads together and swapped bodies. What made things even more confusing was Shimatani in Dino’s body came out after the first match and bumped heads with referee Daisuke Kiso. So when the time came for Dino Vs Hirata we had Dino in Hirata’s body, Hirata in Shimatani’s body, Shimatani in Kiso’s body and Kiso in Dino’s body. Did you get all of that? To take things even further the four of them all started insulting each other only to insult one of the others in the process. Another clash of heads happened at the end of the match and everyone went back to normal. They then chased Dino out of the ring for causing all of this mess.

Similar wrestler impersonating happened in the opening match. Akito & Urano came up with a crazy idea to get Makoto Oishi & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi to wrestle in their place as them. At one point they called HARASHIMA’s substitute to come in and help them but nobody showed up.

The DDT Grand Sumo Summer Tournament took place in between matches. Eight DDT wrestlers entered the tournament and in the end Konosuke Takeshita came out on top. Takeshita said he was determined not to lose because he is the KO-D Openweight Champion and he’ll see Shuji Ishikawa at Sumo Hall.

3. Match With Someone Breaking In Every Few Minutes: Mike Bailey defeated Danshoku Dino with a School Boy (28:41).
Order Of Interference: Kazuki Hirata, Norikazu Fujioka, Hanolek Hogaso, Shon Michaels, A.YAZAWA, Antonio Honda, Norikazu Fujioka.
4. Beer Garden Specialty 5 Way Falls Count Anywhere Match: Megane Fujioka defeated Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda, Mike Bailey, Tanomusaku Toba, Danshoku Dino, Keisuke Ishii, Kazuki Hirata, Makoto Oishi, Shunma Katsumata, MAO and Daiki Shimomura when Fujioka pinned Dino with the Glass Of Megane (14:57).

Day 4 of Beer Garden week had two shows on offer. Danshoku Dino was in charge of the afternoon show. He apologised at the beginning for anything that went wrong but it was all done to make the audience laugh. The main event was supposed to be a 5 Way Falls Count Anywhere Match between Dino, Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda, Mike Bailey and Tanomusaku Toba. When the bell rang “Enter Sandman” began playing and everyone collected full beer cans to drink and smash together while wrestling. As the match went on more and more wrestlers joined in and it eventually became a 12-Man free for all. Everybody ganged up on Dino when he picked on DDT video crew member “Megane” Norikazu Fujioka. Sasadango stopped Dino from doing the Danshoku Driver and gave him a Manhattan Drop instead. NωA gave Dino a Triple Missile Dropkick then Toba gave him a Buzzsaw Kick and then Bailey hit the Shooting Star Double Knee Drop. Dino still got his hands on Fujioka and tried to Power Bomb him. But Fujioka countered it into a Hurricanrana and won the match. “Enter Sandman” played throughout all 15 minutes of the match. Dino said the entire show was put together with unbearably regrettable love. Sasadango agreed and said he was only doing professional wrestling for this moment. Toba said it was great to be in a great match for DDT again since he’s been gone from the company for so long and he hasn’t found anywhere else to go since then.

Dino and Bailey had a match together earlier in the show with the stipulation that there would be a run-in every few minutes. Every wrestler coming down to interfere was allowed to attack Dino or Bailey because they harboured resentment towards them for no reason. The interference was still illegal but the referee would look away whenever it happened. If he doesn’t see it, it didn’t happen! The first run-in came when both Dino and Bailey were knocked out. It was Kazuki Hirata so all he did was do his dance and then leave. Norikazu Fujioka was next and he came out wearing a bra. Dino knocked him out with a Lip Lock. Hanolek Hogaso Hulked up and gave Bailey the Big Boot to help out Dino. However when Hogaso left, Shon Michaels appeared and gave Dino the Sweet Chin Music to even the playing field. When Michaels left A.YAZAWA danced down to the ring. Bailey twisted YAZAWA’s suspenders around so it would choke him. When YAZAWA was gone a tired looking Antonio Honda showed up in his underwear. Dino got rid of him with the Danshoku Driver. Fujioka came back and got on the mic. He wanted everyone to hear what he had to say so he invited the entire locker room to come out. He announced he was getting married! Dino was so shocked by this he was easily rolled into a School Boy by Bailey and the match was over. Everyone celebrated the announcement by holding a toast while wearing pantyhose over their heads. Dino was still frozen in shock at this point.

The Lariat Pro Vs Knee Pro match was filled with you guessed it, Lariats and Knee Strikes. It happened so much that they started playing entrance songs for wrestlers who are known to use such moves from “J” to “Power Hall” to “Sunrise” to “CROWN OF WINNER” to “Iron Man” to “GRAND SWORD” to “SUBCONSCIOUS”. Daiki Shimomura led everyone to do a big “Yeaoh!” shout after the match.

Super Sasadango Machine’s latest idea as manager of NωA was to elect a leader for the idol group. Makoto Oishi disliked the idea and though they were better off as three equals. Shunma Katsumata & MAO thought otherwise and a 3 Way Match to determine the leader went ahead. MAO thought he had it won when he hit the Screw High Kick and went for the pin. But Katsumata dove onto them with the Firebird Splash. MAO rolled out of the way but Katsumata still landed on and pinned Oishi. Sasadango said Katsumata becoming the leader is an interesting surprise.

0. 1 Vs 2 Handicap Match: Yasu Urano defeated Shintaro Murotani & Ryohei Fukuda when Urano submitted Fukuda with a Camel Clutch (8:08).
1. Hot Pants! Shuran! Multinational! Corps Combat Final Liqueur Decisive Battle: Ryuichi Sekine & Choun-Shiryu defeated Ryu Gouma & Yumehito Imanari and Masahiro Takanashi & DJ Nira when Shiryu pinned Nira after a Toe Kick from Yukinori Matsui (15:13).
2. Antonio Honda defeated Kikutaro with a Cradle (23:51).
3. Tuxedo Match: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Konosuke Takeshita by undressing him down to his underwear (11:13).

It was Happy Motels turn to run a show and they opted for a more classier affair than the others. Their show was presented as a dinner party with songs performed by Antonio Honda and his singer friends in between matches. To hammer this idea home the main event had Konosuke Takeshita and Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi both wrestling in tuxedos. However the goal was to strip their opponent down to their underwear. It reached the point where Takeshita only had his shirt left on while Hiroshi was down to his trousers. Takeshita gave Hiroshi a Power Bomb but Hiroshi smartly grabbed onto Takeshita’s shirt mid-move so he could pull it off to win the match.

One year ago Honda took on the greatest challenge of his life, Transparent Mel Gibson. This year was an even great challenge. He wrestled Kikutaro for over 20 minutes! They both teased giving up while trading holds but it was just them saying words and names the sound like “Give Up”. This went on for five minutes. Ten minutes into the match Honda attempted a Quebrada but slipped on the rope. Kikutaro then started using Yukinori Matsui as a shield and a weapon on Honda. During a Chop Battle Kikutaro took his shirt off and started to take the match more seriously. Honda hit a Lou Thesz Press and Scorpion Death Drop but missed the Diving Fist Drop. Kikutaro hit the Shining Kikuzard for a nearfall. He went for a Body Slam but Honda countered it into a Small Package and got the three count. Both wrestlers bowed and hugged each other after the match.

The rules of Match #1 had a drinking song play at certain points of the match. Any wrestler who drank during the song could not be attacked. That meant any wrestler who did not drink during the song was targeted by everyone else. Ryuichi Sekine complained that he had gout and was told by his doctor not to drink any alcohol. So obviously everyone attacked him during the drinking song. Daisuke Kiso was pulled out of the ring during a flurry of pinfalls so Yukinori Matsui came in and kicked everyone to keep the match under control. He then fast counted a pin when Choun-Shiryu crawled onto DJ Nira. Sekine had enough and gave Matsui a Stunner. He then did a Stone Cole style beer bash with the other wrestlers joining in.

At the beginning of the show Yasu Urano was invited to the ring along with two members of DDT’s video team. Hiroshi decided that Urano would fight the video team in a Handicap Match starting straight away. The video team did okay but Urano was still able to beat them easily. One of the crew, Ryohei Fukuda bailed on his partner midway through because he had a something to get ready for that involved a really important person. He begged for forgiveness and then ran off. He reappeared at the end of the show wearing a tuxedo of his own. He invited his girlfriend Yuki into the ring for his important event. He proposed to her and she said yes! Honda sang “The Ladybug’s Samba” to them as a congratulatory gift then everyone sang “We Are The World” to close out the show.

2. Gatoh Move Rules: Emi Sakura & “Kotori” defeated Masako Takanashi & Cherry when “Kotori” pinned Takanashi with the Morning Star (15:59).
3. Scary Story That Surrounds Yukio Sakaguchi: Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Kouki Iwasaki with the Cobra Clutch (15:45).
Scary Story Order: DJ Nira, Kouki Iwasaki, Soma Takao, Danshoku Dino, Daisuke Kiso, Makoto Oishi.
4. Mike Bailey defeated Kota Umeda with the Shooting Star Double Knee Drop (19:58).

Kota Umeda found it difficult to face his Shuten-dōji brethren after his loss to Mike Bailey. Umeda was frustrated that he lost the main event of his unit’s show. However he will look back on this failure to draw strength and become stronger. The closing call was interrupted by Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Gota Ihashi and Kouki Iwasaki. It was on this day one year ago that the three formed a unit called Booing 2015 for the DDT Dramatic General Election. The unit came last in the election and was forced to split up as a result. All three members secretly held a grudge ever since and it was now time for revenge! They attacked KUDO and soaked him with water but KUDO hit back with Middle Kicks and Spin Kicks. This was the first time this year that KUDO got to kick people in the ring again and to him it was like he was never gone. Yukio Sakaguchi then knocked out Ihashi with the Right Knee Of God. It was announced afterwards that Booing 2015 was splitting up again.

One of the highlights of Beer Garden every year is at some point we get a ghost story. This year the goal was to scare Yukio Sakaguchi with a spooky tale. Sakaguchi refused to be involved but was forced by the others to enter the ring. The lights went out and Danshoku Dino took out a flashlight. He shined it over his face and explained the challenge to Sakaguchi. Different wrestlers will enter the ring Royal Rumble style and it’s up to them to scare Sakaguchi with their tales of horror. Sakaguchi will have to pin or submit someone to stop the stories and end the match. DJ Nira snuck up to Sakaguchi and gave him a fright to start the contest. Nira began his story about a summer beach camp but Sakaguchi jumped on him. Kouki Iwasaki was next but his story about the old inn next to the old high school was also cut short. Soma Takao wanted to tell his tale based on a real life experience with a futon but Sakaguchi wanted none of it. At this point Sakaguchi was so scared he was lying down flat on the canvas. Dino then produced pictures of Keisuke Ishii’s parents onto the screen behind them followed by a loud scream. Sakaguchi flipped out and attacked everyone in the ring until Dino caught him in a Lip Lock. Daisuke Kiso was going to count Sakaguchi out but stopped himself because it was his turn to tell a story. His story involved an apartment dweller watching a policeman drag a woman smeared with blood into his car. It ended up scaring everybody in the room. Makoto Oishi was the final entrant but his story was actually just him gossiping about a wrestling buddy who went on a date that ended with a night in a hotel last Christmas Eve. Dino asked what made that a scary story? Oishi said it’s because the woman lied about liking his friend and that’s scary. Sakaguchi finally had enough and put Iwasaki in the Cobra Clutch so he could end the damn contest. Sakaguchi said he probably felt okay after that. He held a toast for the fans but was interrupted by a blackout followed by a distorted video on the screen of a creepy woman saying “Cheers”.

Saki Akai taunted Gota Ihashi before their Glove Match by saying she likes a strong man, so that’s why she asked KUDO to be there as the referee. Despite the size and weight difference, Akai wiped the floor with Ihashi for most of the match. Maybe Ihashi was too enamoured to do anything or maybe it’s his Homer Simpson Syndrome kicking in but he was knocked down over and over. Ihashi tried to clinch Akai when he could. Not to slow down the match but just so he could hug her. He even knocked down KUDO with a punch when he tried to seperate them. Ihashi then Body Slammed Akai and hit a Body Press when KUDO wasn’t looking. He took off his tights but KUDO saw this and disqualified him for his lewd antics. Ihashi knocked him down with another punch but that caused Sakaguchi to come in and hit Ihashi with the Right Knee Of God.

7. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) defeated Toru Owashi with a 6 Reverse Horizontal Chop Barrage (19:58).
*V3 for Konosuke Takeshita. Toru Owashi cashes in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.

The last of the Right To Challenge Contracts has been used but it resulted in failure for Toru Owashi. After holding on to the contract for almost five months he finally got his KO-D Openweight Title shot against Konosuke Takeshita. He was on the defence from the start when Takeshita Dropkicked him out of the ring but he dodged a Plancha. Takeshita targeted Owashi’s right arm until a Chop battle broke out. Owashi won that and locked in the WAR Special. Another Chop battle ended with Owashi throwing down Takeshita with a Choke Slam. Owashi then hit the Diving Body Press for a nearfall. Takeshita avoided the Power Bomb and threw Lariats to regain control. He hit a Vertical Drop Brainbuster but Owashi kicked out at one! Takeshita hit the Blue Thunder but Owashi kicked out at two. Takeshita hit the German Suplex but Owashi kicked out at two again! Takeshita then hit a Reverse Horizontal Chop and that was the killing blow. “Owashi” chants filled the room when he was helped out to the back but Shuji Ishikawa then appeared. He and Takeshita faced off, confirming the two will fight for the KO-D Title at “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2016”. Ishikawa congratulated Takeshita for the victory but also said he will get revenge on his 4 minute loss to him from May at DDT’s biggest stage. DAMNATION will prove they are the best team and he will prove he is the strongest when he robs the belt from Takeshita. Takeshita said the strongest in DDT is the person with the belt and that’s him. He will fight Ishikawa with full force at Sumo Hall.

Daisuke Sasaki felt triumphant when he & Tetsuya Endo defeated Mike Bailey & Guanchulo. He told Bailey there is no use fighting him. He then called out Dick Togo and demanded he appear. Bailey in English replied he didn’t know what to say. Sasaki said (in Japanese) he doesn’t know what Bailey is saying but he should listen because Mother Earth revolves around DAMNATION. Remember that!

Danshoku Dino wanted to kick off Beer Garden week with a toast to his fellow opponents. It was all a ruse and he spat beer on Mizuki Watase to kick off the match. Dino later put mayonnaise in his mouth then gave Watase the Lip Lock to make him submit. LiLiCo rushed into the ring to check on her boyfriend after the match. Dino welcomed her to Beer Garden and offered her a toast for their upcoming “hottest summer” in Sumo Hall. This time the offer was genuine and the two drank during their standoff. In a backstage interview Dino said he is convinced Watase is gay and his relationship with LiLiCo is trying to hide it. Dino will prove it at Sumo Hall.

In a preview of the AJPW Jr. Title Match at Sumo Hall, things went off the rails between Hikaru Sato and Soma Takao. While Atsushi Aoki was tapping out Kouki Iwasaki, Sato also had Takao locked in a Cross Armbreaker submission. Sato refused to let go of the hold when his partner won the match and it had to be broken up. Takao retaliated with a Dropkick and the two began fighting around ringside while their seconds tried to stop them.

Chikara was given his only chance to get rid of the King Of Dark Title before Sumo Hall with a dark match against Sanshiro Takagi. Chikara did well with his Chop heavy offence but was outsmarted when Takagi gave him a Low Dropkick to the legs followed by La Magistral Cradle for the three count. Chikara’s father Mitsuo Momota watched the match from the sidelines and approached Amon Tsurumi with an offer. He wants to wrestle with his son at Sumo Hall and help him lose that cursed championship. Momota doesn’t care that it’s the dark match because he had been a curtain jerker for years!

The list of candidates for this year’s DDT Dramatic General Election was announced at intermission. The field is made up almost entirely of DDT regulars but KAI and Yuko Miyamoto are also included due to their involvement in the KO-D Tag Team Title Match at “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2016”. Mitsuo Momota also successfully negotiated Chikara to be included because of Chikara’s King Of Dark reign. The deadline for more candidates to enter is 13th August.

*DAMNATION becomes the 26th KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!

After over two months of inactivity we now have new KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions! The finals of the tournament took place in Saitama and in the end DAMNATION tore through NωA and Shuten-dōji to claim the belts. Daisuke Sasaki said DAMNATION will continue to overwhelm DDT when Shuji Ishikawa wins the KO-D Openweight Title at Sumo Hall.

The 4 Way Match presented a unique preview of the “PETER PAN 2016” main event. Ishikawa will definitely be facing the KO-D Champion but the champion could be Toru Owashi instead of Konosuke Takeshita. Kazusada Higuchi was also there as a potential wild card. Takeshita looked to have the match won when he weakened Owashi with a Lariat and Blue Thunder Bomb but Owashi caught him by surprise with an Inside Cradle and pinned the champion out of nowhere. Owashi told Takeshita that two days from now the fun will be over when they fight for the KO-D Title.

With Antonio Honda translating for him, Mike Bailey told the audience he isn’t satisfied with his tour yet because he has a lot more to do in Japan. Today’s DDT debut is only the beginning of Mike Bailey. He is anxious to team with Dick Togo at Sumo Hall because to him, Togo is the most successful wrestler in the world.

This months Infomercial Match was sponsored by the book store Shosen. The match would consist of five rounds between the two teams with different rules to represent the different shop floors found in Shosen stores. Round 1 was one count pinfalls. Danshoku Dino immediately pinned Kazuki Hirata. Round 2 was two count pinfalls. Saki Akai tied the score when she pinned Super Sasadango Machine. From there Akai’s team won the remaining rounds. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi submitted Gota Ihashi in Round 3 where submissions were needed to win. Akai kicked Ihashi out of the ring in Round 4 with Over The Top Rope rules. Finally Round 5 was just a normal match and Akai pinned Dino to end the series 4-1 in favour of her team.

KENSO had to fight Sanshiro Takagi in a 5 minute Iron Man Match to earn a spot on the “PETER PAN 2016” card. The match ended 1-1 but regardless of the outcome KENSO’s fate was left in the hands of three judges: DDT staff member Hisaya Imabayashi, Shukan Puroresu’s DDT correspondent Asata Kato and legendary wrestler Mitsuo Momota. The judges’ scorecards were 30-27, 28-30 and 30-2 resulting in a 2-1 victory for Takagi. KENSO complained about the 30-2 score from Momota. Momota straight up told KENSO he doesn’t want to see him wrestle in Sumo Hall! KENSO said he loves the DDT fans and wanted nothing more than to be at “PETER PAN 2016”. Takagi had a change of heart and told KENSO he can wrestle at Sumo Hall. He then told him about the upcoming DDT Dramatic General Election. It is mentally exhausting to campaign for votes but it will prove once and for all what the DDT fans think of KENSO. KENSO said he has experience with elections because he helped his wife Hiroko Suzuki campaign for her seat in the Funabashi City Council. He agreed to enter and is determined to finish first.

Chikara appeared at the start of the show to announce his participation for “PETER PAN 2016”. He is honoured to wrestle in the same building his father Mitsuo Momota wrestled in many times throughout his career. It was decided that while he was here in Kasukabe Hall he will wrestle in an impromptu match. Yumehito Imanari came out complaining that DDT yet again forgot to organise a King Of Dark Title match in advance. Chikara offered his Power Of Dreams friend to be his opponent. Amon Tsurumi excitedly agreed with the idea and made the match there and then. Chikara did his many Chops but Imanari scored the win with a Samson Clutch, meaning Chikara is now the King Of Dark Champion! Chikara was told he will have to fight in the Sumo Hall dark match unless he wins a DDT dark match before then. He’ll have one chance to get rid of the title at the first show of Beer Garden week.

6. Kazusada Higuchi defeated Kota Umeda with the Goten (17:19).

DNA will hold the first ever DNA Grand Prix this October to determine who is truly the strongest wrestler in the brand. It is a five day round robin tournament taking place between 17th October to 21st October in Shinjuku FACE. There will be two blocks with five wrestlers each. The winners of both blocks will meet in the finals and the prize is a one way ticket to New York! The DNA-GP will also allow something that is usually a big no no in pro wrestling. Fans attending the shows will be encouraged to film the matches on their phones. All DNA is asking in return is for the videos to be posted online with the hashtag #DNA_GP.

Kazusada Higuchi has to be the favourite going into the DNA-GP after beating Kota Umeda in the main event. Higuchi said that even though Umeda defeated KENSO last month, he is still not strong enough to be the DNA ace. That claim goes to Higuchi.

Mike Bailey continues to win over fans both in the audience and in the locker room during his stay in Japan. Bailey was confirmed as a participant in the DNA-GP, which is odd since the prize involves visiting a country he is supposedly banned from entering for the time being. Kouki Iwasaki wants to win the DNA-GP so he can go warrior training while living out the American Dream.

Kengo Mashimo wasn’t impressed by his opponent Mizuki Watase. He told Watase several times throughout the match that he is weak but it was all to bring out Watase’s competitive spirit. Mashimo even said his heart feels broken after fighting such an average wrestler.

Daiki Shimomura and Nobuhiro Shimatani both debuted on the same night but a shoulder injury meant Shimomura had to take time off for three months while Shimatani still wrestled. So it was quite an upset for Shimomura to beat Shimatani in the opening match despite having less experience in the ring. Shimomura said he wanted to win the match so much he had to find his hidden strengths. Shimatani meanwhile wants to quickly avenge his defeat.
