2. Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Gouma Ryu when Oosugi pinned Ryu after a Double Brainbuster (7:52).
3. SAGAT & Minoru Fujita defeated Daichi Kazato & Munetatsu Nakamura when SAGAT pinned Kazato with the Gore Grind (10:56).
4. Masato Kamino, Lil’ Kraken & Fuminori Abe defeated Ryuichi Sekine, FUMA & Ayumu Honda when Kraken pinned Sekine with the Period. (13:41).
5. Isami Kodaka & Ryota Nakatsu defeated Takumi Tsukamoto & Takato Nakano when Nakatsu pinned Nakano with the V Slider (14:13).

During the main event Takumi Tsukamoto taunted Ryota Nakatsu in a bid to provoke the Union MAX Champion. But his attempt to hive him the Zudon was stopped by Isami Kodaka and Nakatsu went on to beat Takato Nakano with the V Slider. After the match Nakatsu told Takeru Inoue to hand him over an envelope because inside it was the name of his next MAX Title challenger. He then crumpled up the envelope and decided Tsukamoto will face him for the title at Korakuen Hall on 3rd August! The two of them are now the highest ranked management in BASARA so Nakatsu thinks the promotion’s biggest match of the year should be between those two. Tsukamoto said he will do his best to win the title and write BASARA’s next page.

It turns out Ayumu Honda really didn’t want to join forces with Hyakusho Ikki. He betrayed Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA and helped Lil’ Kraken with the match for the other team. Honda whispered into Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s ear after the match and had him interpret his message. Hiroshi told Hyakusho Ikki that Honda would never join a lame team like them. He only went near them because he wants the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles. He already has a partner ready and he’s at the show today. Suddenly out walked Kengo Mashimo and he started fighting Hyakusho Ikki with Honda that made its way to the back! Later when things calmed down FUMA said Honda had made fun of farmers. Sekine warns that when you make fun of farmers you will see hell! They’re going to fight Honda & Mashimo fair and square with the Iron Fist Tag Titles on the line.

After Match #3 several wrestlers all got in the ring trying to figure out what match they should have on 3rd August. Daichi Kazato completely lost track of who he wanted to team with so Gouma Ryu suggested they do a 3 Way Trios Match. Ryu himself isn’t going to wrestle. Instead he wants to be in the corner of Speed Of Sounds & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi. Kazato decided he will team with Yasu Urano and a third person. Both Minoru Fujita & SAGAT agreed to team with each other and go find another partner. Later in the day Hiroshi, Ryu & SOS all decided to form a new unit called with-kai.

Although she was only officially part of Tokyo Joshi Pro for one year, Yoshiko Hasegawa touched many during her time there and was given a grand farewell for her graduation from pro wrestling. She was going to fight 27 other TJPW wrestlers for her retirement match! Just a few days earlier Hasegawa won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title so her last match also doubled up as a title defence. One by one she got to fight different opponents who all in their own way showed their thanks to her. Then somehow Tetsuya Koda got dragged into the ring by Rika Tatsumi. She choked and stomped on Koda so Hasegawa could then pin him with a Knee Drop. The pinfall counted and Hasegawa was rewarded with the first fall.

The match continued on as a Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls contest. Hasegawa was getting overwhelmed by the massive numbers disadvantage until Kaya Toribami suddenly came to her aid! She had teamed with Hasegawa when she won the Iron Man Title during the weekend and Yoppy told her it was as if they were sharing the belt with each other. That seemed to have stuck with Toribami and she helped Yoppy fight against Daisy Monkey. But while Toribami tried to hold back Arisu Endo, Hasegawa ended up taking the Ring A Bell from Suzume and was pinned to lose the second fall. Suzume was now the Iron Man Champion but Miu Watanabe quickly put her in the Giant Swing and pinned her down afterwards to take the belt from her. That title reign also only lasted for a few seconds because Mizuki did the Whirling Candy on Watanabe to pin her for the belt.

For the third and final fall Hasegawa had reached exhaustion so everyone on the other team let Shoko Nakajima fight her one on one. Hasegawa was able to get a nearfall with the Diving Double Knee Attack but Nakajima wore her down with Elbow Strikes before finishing her off with the Double Arm DDT and Diving Senton combo. After the match Nakajima talked about the times she went to go watch Ganbare☆Pro and Daisuke Kiso would always mix her up with Yoppy because they both look the same from behind. She also said Hasegawa has never been selfish and was always respectful to others, even to the most junior wrestlers like Ren Konatsu. Because Hasegawa chose to end her career with TJPW, Nakajima told her to live her life selfishly from now on.

Hasegawa said she is always reserved and polite with everyone because she is always scared of being disliked. But TJPW is not like that because everyone here is unique. That is why when she decided on her retirement she allowed herself to be very selfish. In return TJPW made her the most wonderful road to retirement and she is grateful for it. Her graduation ceremony then took place where she was given gifts by Toribami and HIMAWARI on behalf of TJPW. Then some comedians (Miku Aono among them) Hasegawa had worked with outside of wrestling congratulated her. After that several women from Actwres girl’Z posed with her for a group photo. There was also her friends from GanPro and other indies showing up like Riara, YuuRI, Banny Oikawa and Erina Yamanaka. Even her debut opponent Tsukasa Fujimoto made an appearance to be in the ring with her one last time. The final guest to stand with her was Teppei Arita who had been doing guest commentary for the show.

Yoppy closed out the show with a speech. She debuted in 2019 and a lot had happened to her over the last 6 years, like breaking her neck. But she is happy to be standing in the ring the way she is right now. She lost her Iron Man Title but has gained something even more important from TJPW. She promised to support the company as a fan from now on and hopes to see everyone again at the shows. She then received her ten bell salute and retirement call to end the show.

Daydream were without their sasumata poles today and apparently Kyoraku Kyomei are to blame. Before their 6-Woman Tag Match began Hyper Misao said that she and Nakajima got rid of the poles and they are able to beat Daydream without them. Daydream thought on the fly when everyone fought out of the ring up to the aisleway. Watanabe suddenly picked up Tatsumi over her shoulder and Tatsumi made herself into the shape of a human sasumata to be used as a weapon on their opponents! Back in the ring Yuki Aino gave Toga the Bulldog Headlock and Nakajima followed up with the Northern Lights Suplex to get the win.

Raku wanted to sleep in the middle of the ring during the 3 Way Match so Mahiro Kiryu and Shino Suzuki each tried to quietly pin her. She kicked out in her sleep so Kiryu then tried to Body Slam Suzuki on top of her. Raku rolled out of the way and then rolled back on top of Suzuki so Kiryu had to break the pin. She threw Raku’s pillow away and apologised to her because she looked so comfortable sleeping.

The final two spots in the Tokyo Princess Cup have been filled. Today’s qualification matches were the last in the preliminary league. Moka Miyamoto defeated Toribami to take one of the final places. She expected Toribami to be tough coming off of her recent title match with Nakajima and is feeling glad she won. Miyamoto has a lot to look forward to before the Cup begins, such as the Texas tour and her International Princess Title match at Ota Ward Gymnasium. Toribami doesn’t think she was beaten in technique or spirit. She wonders if she just got too excited today? That might also explain why she decided to help out Hasegawa during her retirement match because she wanted to see Yoppy win.

The other last spot goes to HIMAWARI although she had to get a taste of her own medicine to earn it. Pom Harajuku came down to the ring wearing large hair extensions to use as a weapon similar to how HIMAWARI whips opponents with her own hair. Harajuku tricked Fumirin into holding the hair so they could Clothesline HIMAWARI together. However HIMAWARI dodged the Pom de Justice and put Harajuku in the Half Crab Hold. It was right in the centre of the ring so Harajuku gave up. HIMAWARI was prepared for this match and is ready to become the woman of the summer! Harajuku said she put all of her energy into this match because she couldn’t wrestle Haruna Neko in the first round. By carrying Neko’s feelings with her it caused her hair to grow long! But she understands her hair became way too long so she is going to work hard just little by little from now on.

At the start of the show Hyper Misao announced there will be a repeat performance of “HYPE! 3” being held at Kitazawa Town Hall on 3rd August! She explained she wasn’t in perfect physical and mental condition for the show which led to her making decisions she would not have done under normal circumstances. Now she is back in perfect condition she wants to do the show again!

Sometime after the show ended, Mizuki was hanging out backstage with the Iron Man Title and also her trusty Pico Pico Hammer. Raku approached her and sang her to sleep with a lullaby in an attempt to win the belt. However Raku felt sleepy too and took a nap while the referee noticed the hammer resting on top of Mizuki’s sleeping body. He counted to three and declared the Pico Pico Hammer as the new champion! Then shortly after that Sanshiro Takagi found out what happened. He found the hammer, gave it the Stunner and pinned it to become the new champion.

3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya defeated Jun Akiyama, Daichi Sato & Soma Takao when Iino pinned Takao with the Spear (10:37).
4. Falls Count Anywhere Crocodile Death Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion (w/ MJ Paul) defeated Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Takeshi Masada when Ilusion pinned Honda with the Crocodile Splash (16:10).
5. A Match To Win 1,000 Yen In Pocket Money: Hikaru Sato & Akito defeated Yuki Ueno & To-y when Sato sumbitted To-y with an Armpit Hold (15:15).
6. KANON 6th Anniversary Match ~ Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) defeated HARASHIMA & Danshoku Dieno when KANON pinned Dieno with the Ground Cobra Twist (13:59).

KANON got to celebrate the 6th Anniversary of his debut match successfully by scoring a pinfall victory over Danshoku Dieno. The two will be facing off again soon with a singles match on 15th July so KANON hyped it up with MAO and KIMIHIRO to end the show.

The DDT Extreme Title contract signing took place and To-y revealed to Hikaru Sato what the rules of their match on 1th July is going to be. It will be a 10,000 Yen Pocket Money Pro Wrestling Excursion Death Match! To-y said they will be given 10,000 yen each and must spend an hour before the match spending it on items and hiring allies to appear in the match. Sato convinced To-y to increase the spending time from one hour before the match to 24 hours before the match. Both wrestlers are also allowed to gamble their pocket money in the hopes of getting more to spend. So later in the show they had a tag match where they wagered their money on penalties. They would have to give over 1,000 yen for every time they get pinned, 2,000 yen for every rope break they use to escape a submission hold and 3,000 yen whenever their tag partner had to break up a pin or submission. Sato’s team won the match and after all of To-y’s penalties were added up, Sato now had 19,000 yen while To-y only had 1,000 yen. To-y was upset with having so little cash that he pleaded with Sato to lend him 9,000 yen. The fans convinced Sato to lend him the money so they are now back to 10,000 yen each. Backstage Sato said he thought DDT wasn’t that kind of company anymore where everyone borrows money a lot. But if the cost of winning the Extreme Title is 10,000 yen then Sato is willing to pay it.

The Crocodile Death Match was pretty much a big excuse for SCHADENFREUDE International and DAMNATION T.A to have a massive water fight against each other. Everyone brought out water guns of various kinds, they dunked each other into big bins filled with water and Daisuke Sasaki tried to drown Bunbun. The crocodile was attached to Ilusion’s back by Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul. He jumped from a bench onto Antonio Honda in the kiddie pool to pin him for the three count. Chris Brookes and Takeshi Masada tried to get the last laugh by throwing buckets of water at DAMNATION T.A after the match.

The heavyweight trio of Kazusada Higuchi & The Apex were dominant over Jun Akiyama, Daichi Sato & Soma Takao. Akiyama was in danger of being beaten by Yukio Naya so Sato went to fight Naya off. But that left Yuki Iino free to Spear Takao and get the win for his team. Iino was impressed by Sato’s kicks during the match and encourages him to strike him more. Naya however warned Sato not to underestimate him. Akiyama meanwhile told the KO-D Tag Team Champions not to hold back against him and his tag partner. This has only just begun.

A special rule was added to the Kazuki Hirata Vs Yuni match. Hisaya Imabayashi would write a request on a piece of paper and the wrestlers would have to go do that request to earn a point. The first to reach three points would then win.

With Shunma Katsumata currently out injured, NωA Jr. had original NωA member Makoto Oishi fill in for him in the opening match. He did the entrance as well as wrestle in the match.

To-y’s energy may have rubbed Tatsumi Fujinami the wrong way. Fujinami was given the NeppoWER!! pose at the start of the match and threatened To-y with violence in response. Akito used Fujinami’s Dragon Screw against him and also used the move on Yoshiaki Yatsu & Jun Akiyama. Fujinami captured To-y in the Figure 4 Leg Lock but Yuki Ueno broke it up with a Knee Drop. Akiyama then hit Ueno with a Knee Strike. Fujinami got revenge on Akito by giving him the Dragon Screw and then put To-y in the Dragon Sleeper. The others held the other team back with Akiyama giving Ueno the Front Neck Lock while Yatsu put Akito in the Jail Hold. To-y had no choice but to give up.

Retired wrestler Naohiro Hoshikawa made his third annual appearance on the show. The former Michinoku Pro and ZERO1 wrestler greeted everyone from ringside by leaving his wheelchair with some assistance and standing next to the ring.

Chaos broke out for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles main event. Bunbun was left to hang upside down from one of the nearby banners in the room. Antonio Honda tried to beat Ilusion with the Tenzan Tombstone Driver but MJ Paul pulled the referee out of the ring to stop his pin count. That allowed DAMNATION T.A to attack SCHADENFREUDE International with chairs. Daisuke Sasaki & Hideki Okatani got rid of Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada, then hit Honda with the Claymore Kick and the Pedigree onto the chair. However Ilusion missed the Swanton Bomb and landed on the chair, allowing Honda to roll him up in the Japanese Leg Clutch Hold. Okatani just about broke the pin in time and Ilusion used his own Arm Clutch version of the move on Honda called the Bombo Claat to get the three count in the end. No new challengers stepped forward afterwards so Ilusion declared DAMNATION T.A as the forever champions!

Both Kazusada Higuchi and HARASHIMA signed the contract for their KO-D Openweight Title bout earlier in the show. During the signing Higuchi brought up all of the times he challenged HARASHIMA for the KO-D Title and lost. He believes successfully defending the KO-D Title against him will be his way of getting revenge. HARASHIMA said he wants to win the title to he can bring it with him for his homecoming show on 27th July. They then faced off in a tag match with Yukio Naya and Soma Takao also involved. HARASHIMA was able to hit Higuchi with the Somato at ringside but Naya ended up beating Takao in the ring. After the match HARASHIMA said he could feel Higuchi’s mental strength as well as his physical one.

Hikaru Sato has been hearing To-y’s claims about being a crazy wrestler so he wanted to give him an extreme test to prove it. Michael Nakazawa recently sent him bottles of laxatives from America so Hikaru and To-y agreed to drink a bottle each one hour before their match today took place. Their match also involved Jun Akiyama & Daichi Sato warming up against Yuki Iino for their upcoming KO-D Tag Team Titles bout. Akiyama & Daichi noticed To-y was holding it in so they purposely targeted his stomach while Hikaru was also showing signs of panic. Thankfully nothing disgusting was let loose in the ring and as soon as the match finished both Hikaru and To-y sprinted for the toilets while Iino and Daichi kept fighting each other. Then once things calmed down, Hikaru and To-y returned to the ring to pose over the DDT Extreme Title. Hikaru later said the match left him feeling refreshed because he and To-y fought their guts out. To-y promised to come up with a crazier rule for the title match and will keep the belt for when Shunma Katsumata returns from injury.

Apparently the 5 Way Match was all in Hisaya Imabayashi’s head. He dreamed about the impending destruction of the planet so everyone had to try and win the match before the world was doomed. Time ran out though and explosions could be heard throughout the room. Nothing happened after that and the wrestlers looked around in confusion. They noticed Imabayashi was sleeping at his desk and woke him up, learning that it was all a dream he was having.

Yokohama played host to a big preview for “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” where all of the champions faced against their challengers in an 8-Woman Tag Match. Before it began Hyper Misao complained about Daydream bringing sasumata poles to the ring again and Rika Tatsumi promised not to use them. But when Misao started using her Hero Spray on the other team, Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe broke their promise and used the poles to attack Kyoraku Kyomei with. Meanwhile Suzume got the upper hand against Moka Miyamoto, ending their exchange with a low range Ring A Bell. The match switched focus over to Mizuki against Yuki Arai. Others still got in the middle of their fight and Arai ultimately took advantage of the situation. Miyamoto blocked Mizuki’s Cutie Special attempt and tried to give her the Korokan. Mizuki escaped from the move but left herself completely open to Arai hitting her with the Finally, scoring a big pinfall victory over her!

Arai celebrated her first win over Mizuki with the rest of her team. She always thought you shouldn’t challenge someone for a championship if you’ve never beaten them previously so today she can now see herself winning the Princess Of Princess Title at Ota Ward Gymnasium even more clearly. Miyamoto said that was her last preliminary match in Japan but she still has warm up matches coming up for the USA tour. Tatsumi & Watanabe pointed out that every summer is a Daydream summer because they always happen to be in some kind of championship match during this time of the year. The champions are now licking their wounds and regrouping. Shoko Nakajima promised that Kyoraku Kyomei will have a secret weapon of their own to combat Daydream’s sasumatas. Suzume will take this loss as a lesson to get through the USA tour. Mizuki wants to make a comeback from this spot they are in right now.

At some point during the day of the show, Riara found Sanshiro Takagi sitting backstage and suffocated him with a plastic bag to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title! So when she showed up for her match both Yoshiko Hasegawa & Kaya Toribami were confused to see her carrying the belt with her. Hasegawa ended up submitted Riara to win the tag match and therefore become the new Iron Man Champ! She said even though it is a singles title she couldn’t have won it without Toribami’s help so she would like to think they are sharing it. She also hopes to hold onto it long enough that she will get to defend it in her retirement match on Tuesday.

Round 2 of the Tokyo Princess Cup Preliminary League began today. This is the last stage before the proper tournament starts so whoever wins went through to fill in the final spots. Ivy Steele had the size and power advantage over Haru Kazashiro but the teenager knocked her down with a 2nd Rope Missile Dropkick and was able to pin her with the Fisherman Suplex. Kazashiro was happy to have the match with Steele because they haven’t crossed paths much before today. She now wants to make her summer a great one and this was her first step towards making it happen. Steele hoped she was going to win today because Yokohama Radiant Hall is where she made her Tokyo Joshi Pro debut. She thinks she focused too much on her future and wasn’t able to concentrate on today’s match. She also didn’t expect Kazashiro to have the strength to Fisherman Suplex her so only concentrated on countering her submission holds.

Wakana Uehara stamped her way to the main tournament by defeating Shino Suzuki. A stubborn Suzuki wanted to beat her with the Sleeper Hold but Uehara broke free and made her give up to the Banana Pillow. Uehara praised Suzuki for being the most reckless and hard working out of anyone in TJPW so she was happy to fight her today. They’re going to have a rematch in Houston next week so she’ll be focused on looking out for Suzuki’s reckless Sleeper Hold. Backstage Suzuki said she usually cries after losses like these but she realizes if she does that again in her third year as a wrestler she will never make progress. She really wants to change that because there is so much she knows she can do.

TJPW will be starting up a women’s pro wrestling class for beginners at their dojo this August. The Joshi Pro Wrestling Camp will have Miyu Yamashita and Shoko Nakajima as the two regular instructors with others filling in whenever they go wrestle abroad. The plan is to hold these classes on weekends when there are no TJPW shows on.

Itoh wants Desperado to learn the Itoh Respect Army dance for their entrance. He didn’t expect that to be part of the deal.

TJPW say a health issue is preventing Max The Impaler from participating at “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” so Pom Harajuku needs a new tag team partner. Luckily for her TJPW has decided to bring in Kyoko Inoue as the replacement! The joshi legend currently wrestles for Diana, a promotion that just so happened to join the UJPW recently so I wonder if that new connection helped put this deal together.

The Grace Group bus company have their own independent wrestling promotion called GRACE PROJECT. They don’t really have their own roster, save for Captain Grace who is the man in charge of the whole thing. Instead their shows are filled with indie wrestlers from across Japan including those who compete in BASARA. So a lot of familiar faces are showing up in their offer match for the show.

Shunma Tears His ACL Again, DDT Lineups For July, ZSJ At Wrestle Peter Pan

July 4, 2025

During the week Shunma Katsumata injured his knee during practice and was diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee. He will be out of action for a while. It is the same injury he suffered last November that kept him on the shelf until this past March so he is having rotten luck with his health lately. A lot of his matches for July were already booked so plenty of show lineups had to be changed around because of his injury.

The new champion Kazusada Higuchi instantly attracted one of the best wrestlers in DDT to challenge him for the title. HARASHIMA always wants to fight the strongest wrestlers and admires Higuchi for having the strength to climb back to the top of the mountain after returning from his injuries.

Akito will also be filling in for Katsumata on this show for the all important Kaisei Takechi match.

DAMNATION T.A are really ramping things up. Not only do they have Haruto Sakuraba coming back for his second wrestling match but now Masashi Takeda will be on his team! Ilusion may not even have to do much on the day other than be an annoying little shit to the opponents and that’s second nature to him at this point.

Ever since Daichi Sato became a full fledged member of DDT he’s been teaming with Jun Akiyama a lot. The legend has seen to it to become the teenager’s mentor and could end up being rewarded for it by with a first time KO-D Tag Title reign.
