4. DAMNATION Vs The 37KAMIINA: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Yuji Hino defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & MAO when Hino pinned MAO with the Fucking BOMB (12:54).
5. Tenjin Specialty! Oyakoko Special 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura & Kazuki Hirata defeated Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & Yusuke Okada when HARASHIMA submitted Okada with a Front Neck Lock (19:55).
6. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Yuki Ueno (c) defeated Akito with the WR (28:09). *V6 for Yuki Ueno.
Yuki Ueno went into the evening half of the doubleheader in less than 100% condition. In the early show, Akito heavily targeted Ueno’s knees knowing it would still effect him when it was time to have the DDT UNIVERSAL Title match. However Ueno made an effort not to show pain, appearing in the ring without any tape covering his knees much to Akito’s surprise. It didn’t change Akito’s gameplan though and he continued to focus attacking Ueno’s knees. Ueno was still able to hit his Standing Shining Wizard and even the BME but the damage done left him slow to pin Akito afterwards. Akito’s chance for the Goliath Birdeater was shaken off with another Shining Wizard followed by a Dropkick right to the face. Ueno then did the WR and it was enough for him to win the match.
Before today, Ueno wasn’t sure if he was able to get through this match with Akito. He had fun fighting him and is welcome to doing it as many times as he can, as long as he is the defending champion of course. Ueno invited the rest of The 37KAMIINA into the ring. He was joined by the full unit and also Toui Kojima who tried to fit in before being sent off by the others. Ueno told the fans his goal is to have another title match in Hakata by the end of the year.
It seemed that Jun Akiyama was in a good enough mood to tolerate Kazuki Hirata’s antics. He encouraged Hirata to dance to his music before the match and offered him a handshake afterwards. Akiyama then Headbutted Hirata and the match began from there with Akiyama against HARASHIMA. Speaking of HARASHIMA, he had a message for Akiyama. He had Yusuke Okada beaten with the Somato but instead of going for the pin, he used Akiyama’s signature Front Neck Lock to make Okada submit instead. HARASHIMA then promised to beat Akiyama at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” for all of the DDT fans.
Match #2 immediately went off the rails when Danshoku Dieno got his hands on Toui Kojima in an inappropriate way, causing the no contest. Hisaya Imabayashi demanded a restart because he knew how much Sanshiro Takagi wanted to wrestle in Fukuoka again after a long time away. It was still ridiculous but Takagi got to do lucha spots with Toru Owashi so he was happy with the effort.
There were two Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title changes after the opening match. Antonio Honda tripped and hurt his knee while celebrating his team’s win. He used Gongitsune to poke everyone in the eye, including Chris Brookes. Honda then pinned Brookes with a School Boy to take the Iron Man Title away from him. When Brookes argued with him, Saki Akai caught Honda with a Big Boot and then pinned him with a School Boy of her own to become the new champion.

1. Only Because It Is! DDT Variety Team Specialty Tag Match: Danshoku Dieno & Antonio Honda defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Yuki Iino when Honda pinned Iino after pushing him into Dieno’s Hell Gate (8:07).
2. Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai defeated Makoto Oishi, Yusuke Okada & Keigo Nakamura when Akai pinned Nakamura with the Quetzalcoatl (7:51).
3. Soma Takao defeated Yukio Naya with a Cradle (8:33).
4. Akito & Yuto Aijima defeated Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata when Akito submitted Ueno with a Modified Leg Lock from a Cradle (11:51).
5. DAMNATION Vs DISASTER BOX!: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Yuji Hino defeated Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata & Naomi Yoshimura when Endo pinned Hirata with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (11:03).
6. Tenjin Specialty! Parental Misfortune Special Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Chris Brookes Vs Konosuke Takeshita & MAO ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
The afternoon half of DDT’s doubleheader in Fukuoka was headlined with a 30 minute draw that took a lot out of everyone. MAO gave HARASHIMA a Package Piledriver onto the apron. That left Chris Brookes to fight The 37KAMIINA on his own for a while. HARASHIMA got back into the match but Konosuke Takeshita was there to meet him face to face. MAO would give HARASHIMA a Stunner (with the “Fire!” pose afterward), Takeshita gave Brookes a Vertical Drop Brainbuster, MAO missed the 450 Cannonball and Brookes put him in the Octopus Hold. Takeshita broke the hold seconds before the time ran out and the match was ruled a draw.
Afterwards when everyone caught their breath MAO told the fans that he left Tokyo last night, arrived in Fukuoka this morning, wrestled for 30 minutes and still has another show to do later today. He then said everybody celebrated Takeshita’s 26th birthday today on the tour bus. Takeshita talked about how as the years go by he, MAO and HARASHIMA are all DDT veterans. He also acknowledged that Brookes is now fully a part of DDT too. Brookes thanked the fans for coming to the show. HARASHIMA joined in and promoted the evening show to come later.
The level of dislike between DISASTER BOX and DAMNATION grew even further one day before the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match takes place. A surprise attack happened from the bell but it was from DISASTER BOX. Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata tried to gang up on Tetsuya Endo but he used a Handspring Double Back Elbow to fight them off. DAMNATION would focus on beating down on both of them until Naomi Yoshimura came to the rescue. His clash with Yuji Hino was heating up when Hirata demanded to tag in, explaining he was reborn to win the 6-Man Tag Titles tomorrow. Hino easily smashed Hirata aside and brought Daisuke Sasaki in for a few extra digs. A missed Lariat from Hino hit Endo instead and Hirata took his chance. Hirata went for his own Lariat but hurt himself when Endo blocked it. A Headbutt, an Overhead Kick and the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb then put Hirata away. After the match Endo called Owashi, Hirata & Yoshimura the bottom three wrestlers in DDT to challenge for the titles. He advised them to cancel the match. Yoshimura grabbed the microphone and said he really wants to win the belts with Owashi & Hirata. Yoshimura then made Hino his target for the title match tomorrow.
Hours before their DDT UNIVERSAL Title match took place, Akito left Yuki Ueno in a bad state by heavily targeting his legs during a tag match. Akito got out of the WR to deliver big damage to Ueno’s legs before applying a Modified Leg Lock. Ueno tried to counter it by Cradling Akito for a pin attempt but the pain was too much for him to bare. Ueno tapped out while the referee was counting the pin, giving Akito’s team the win. Akito mocked Ueno by telling the fans to applaud the champion for being in “good condition” today. He then pointed out that there was not enough time for Ueno to fully recover before the title match happens tonight.
The size difference between Yukio Naya and Soma Takao gave Naya an unexpected advantage. He was too tall for Takao to Low Blow with a backwards kick when Naya tried to give him a Back Drop. Takao had to push Naya into the referee in order to Low Blow him and get away with it.
Keigo Nakamura got overconfident and tried to beat Saki Akai with her own move, the Quetzalcoatl. Akai reversed the move and gave everyone a chance to see how the original is done.

3. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao defeated HARASHIMA, Kazuki Hirata & Yukio Naya when Endo pinned Naya with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (13:22).
4. Akito & Yusuke Okada defeated Yuki Ueno & Toui Kojima when Okada pinned Kojima with the Fisherman Buster (13:20).
5. Naomi Yoshimura defeated Yuki Iino with a Lariat (9:14).
6. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata (3) defeated Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda (2) when Katsumata pinned Honda with a Cradle (17:22).
7. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Jun Akiyama & Makoto Oishi (4) defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi (4) when Oishi submitted Sakaguchi with the Fujiyama Knee Lock (15:47).
It’s still all to play for after Day 4 of the Ultimate Tag League. One team who had it in the bag are letting it slip while the team that looked to be out of it caught a second wind. While Kazusada Higuchi and Jun Akiyama took care of each other, Yukio Sakaguchi tried to hunt down Makoto Oishi. It got real bad for Oishi when Sakaguchi literally knocked his front teeth out (Oishi’s front teeth are all replacements)! But in a surprise, Oishi had his opponent scouted and countered his submission holds into the Fujiyama Knee Lock for the upset victory. Akiyama praised the Junrestu leader after the match. All of his front teeth are gone but he is still handsome enough to finish 4th in a Best Body Japan competition! Meanwhile Eruption are at risk of finishing outside of the top spot. They now need to beat DAMNATION on the last day for a chance to win the league.
It’s a sad end for The Iyasareru. After a great start, Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda quickly cooled off and lost the rest of their matches. Their schedule ended with a defeat to The 37KAMIINA. They had their opponents trapped in stereo Octopus Stretches but Konosuke Takeshita broke free from Brookes and Dropkicked Honda. Shunma Katsumata then used his leverage to roll over and apply a deep pin to Honda for the three count. The 37KAMIINA know they are in a difficult position to win the league on the final day. All they can do is figure out the right timing to use the MADMAX double team move so they can beat Junretsu.
Naomi Yoshimura beats Yuki Iino to prove he deserves to be in this year’s King Of DDT. Yoshimura said he will work his way to the top of the DNA generation. He also promised to win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles next week.
Toui Kojima treated Match #4 as an audition to join The 37KAMIINA. He probably failed when a double team move backfired and Kojima hit Yuki Ueno by accident. That mistake gave Yusuke Okada the opening to win the match. Ueno tried to keep his attention on Akito but admits he couldn’t grasp his next challenger’s rhythm at all today. He also had his back taped up which irked Akito a bit. Akito said he was disappointed in Ueno’s performance today and a champion shouldn’t be showing off his bad condition like that. Akito doesn’t think he fought a champion today.
DAMNATION got by with some cheating to beat DISASTER BOX. When Tetsuya Endo had Yukio Naya in position for the Torture Rack Bomb, Kazuki Hirata ran in wanting to break the count. However Soma Takao stopped him in his tracks with a Low Blow, allowing Endo to hit his move on Naya for the finish. Takao added salt to the wounds backstage when he called Hirata a weak challenger for the 6-Man Tag Titles and he should be replaced. Soma thinks Hirata would be so weak of a champion he would make Yuki Ueno’s DDT UNIVERSAL Title run look better by comparison!

4. DAMNATION Vs The 37KAMIINA! A Special 6-Man Tag Match Where Tetsuya Endo From Shiroishi City And MAO From Osaki City Will Fight For Miyagi’s Will And Pride! ~ No Tag Rules: Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno & MAO defeated Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie when MAO pinned Paulie with the Cannonball 450° (15:25).
5. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi (4) defeated Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda (2) when Sakaguchi submitted Honda with a Triangle Choke (15:18).
6. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Jun Akiyama & Makoto Oishi (2) defeated Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino (3) when Oishi submitted Sasaki with the Fujiyama Knee Lock (14:12).
Makoto Oishi makes up for Junretsu’s slow start by winning their first points in the league. Today’s win was special for him because Sendai is where his wife Misaki Oishi was born. Jun Akiyama said Oishi is the key to their team. They win when he is good, they lose when he is bad. Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino’s excuse for losing is they can’t beat the spirit of Mt. Fuji that Oishi drew his power from.
A reversal of fortunes saw Yukio Sakaguchi hurt his knees and tell his own story to pass the time. Things went back to normal when Antonio Honda ended up in the same position to use Gongitsune. His sneak attack accidentally hit Yukinori Matsui instead but at least that allowed The Iyasareru to cheat a little. Kazusada Higuchi and Chris Brookes intervened but the match came down to Sakaguchi and Honda. Sakaguchi countered the Diving Fist Drop by catching Honda into a Triangle Choke. With this submission win, Eruption is now in 1st place.
Local pride was on the line between MAO and Tetsuya Endo. Both are from the Miyagi region and wanted to be the hometown hero for this show, even though both of their actual hometowns are miles away from Sendai. Mad Paulie of all people came up with the idea to make the match No Tag rules. Sadly for him, he got pinned by MAO so MAO got to give the big speech afterwards to the fans.
Naomi Yoshimura and Yuki Iino were at each other’s throats during their tag match. They brawled around ringside even as the match reached its end. Iino charged at Yoshimura again afterwards and the two had to be kept apart.
Keigo Nakamura upgraded his Moonsault to use against standing opponents. He now calls that version the Michinoku Attack.
The King Of DDT 2021 will take place over three shows in June and July. The winner will receive a 1,000,000 yen prize from the sponsor BLACK OUT. 1. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino (3) defeated Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda (2) when Sasaki submitted Honda with the Crossover Facelock (13:54).
2. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi (2) defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata (1) when Higuchi pinned Katsumata with the Brain Claw Slam (20:25).
Eruption gets out of the starting blocks with a win, beating The 37KAMIINA. The big blow came when Kazusada Higuchi Choke Slammed Konosuke Takeshita through a table outside the ring. That left Shunma Katsumata to survive by himself until Takeshita recovered and came to the rescue. Together they hit the MADMAX on Yukio Sakaguchi but he couldn’t be pinned because he wasn’t the legal man. That mistake allowed Higuchi to smash through Takeshita and pin Katsumata with the Brain Claw Slam. Eruption made it clear that they’re going after the top spot of the Ultimate Tag League!
But for now the top spot belongs to DAMNATION after they knocked The Iyasareru down a peg. Antonio Honda tried to distract Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino by telling a Gongitsune joke about the Monster Army, the unit that all three were a part of around 8 years ago. That pause allowed Chris Brookes to get some shots in and Honda went to complete the deal. It didn’t work out though because Sasaki blocked the Diving Fist Drop and rolled Honda into the Crossover Facelock to make him submit.

6. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda (2) defeated Jun Akiyama & Makoto Oishi (0) when Honda pinned Oishi with a Cradle (13:09).
7. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata (1) Vs Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino (1) ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
The Ultimate Tag League begins with an upset win and a time limit draw. In the main event The 37 KAMIINA went thirty minutes against DAMNATION without a winner coming out of it. The 37 KAMIINA got to hit MADMAX on Yuji Hino but Daisuke Sasaki pulled the referee out of the ring to prevent the count. Sasaki then brought in a chair to duel with Shunma Katsumata without the ref around to stop them. Sasaki turned his attention to Konosuke Takeshita, giving him a Canadian Destroyer. But his La Mistica attempt was blocked and The 37 KAMIINA gave him an Inverted MADMAX. With minutes remaining, Hino fought off his opponents until the time expired. Both teams start the league with one point each.
The big upset came when Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda defeated Junretsu in their opening league bout. Honda looked like he wanted to start the match off with Jun Akiyama but told Brookes to get out there instead. When it was time for Honda to shine, he tripped over Makoto Oishi and hurt his knee. Honda begged Junretsu to let him tell his Gongitsune joke because his father always looks forward to it. Akiyama knew it was a trick and he blocked Honda’s cheap shot. Oishi trapped Honda in the Fujiyama Knee Lock but Honda Cradled him into a pinfall to get the three count. Backstage Brookes & Honda revealed they have a new team name to replace The European Connection. From now on they are The Iyasareru. Their win today was no accident but a miracle formed by fate.
The return of Naomi Yoshimura threw him right in the action with his former tag partner Yuki Ueno. The ring rust and Ueno’s progression during Yoshimura’s absence was his downfall today. Ueno pinned him with the Best Moonsault Ever while at the same time MAO wiped out HARASHIMA with a Quebrada out of the ring. Ueno welcomed Yoshimura back after a half year absence. He said they’ll have fun wrestling each other again. Yoshimura promised to work hard so he can reach the position Ueno is in. He also wants to help DISASTER BOX any way he can, like by winning the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles.
A sprint between Yukio Sakaguchi and Yusuke Okada guaranteed a quick finish and Sakaguchi got it by knocking Okada out in five minutes. Okada climbing the turnbuckles left him vulnerable for the God’s Right Knee. More big kicks and knee strikes found their mark and the match had to be stopped after Okada was felled with a Right High Kick. Backstage Okada swore revenge and wants Sakaguchi to know that this isn’t over! Sakaguchi welcomes the threat. He crush Okada as many times as he wants until he is satisfied.
DAMNATION did get a win in non-tournament action, beating the other members of Eruption along with Yuki Iino. The teamwork of Kazusada Higuchi & Saki Akai on Tetsuya Endo set Iino up for the Haka Elbow. But Mad Paulie ruined those plans and with Soma Takao’s help got rid of Eruption. Iino was placed on the canvas with the Back Flip allowing Endo to pin him with the Shooting Star Press.
An empty arena gave the wrestlers in Match #2 an idea. They agreed to have a Reverse Battle Royal match where throwing the opponents over the top rope and INTO the ring was the goal. The wrestlers were warned by the Korakuen Hall staff to stay away from the orange seat sections of the venue so those areas were also disqualification zones. Wrestlers fought on the bleachers, Kazuki Hirata danced, Sanshiro Takagi & Yukio Naya built a castle of chairs, Akito stopped himself from throwing people into the orange seats because the staff would get mad with him. Takagi brought out the Dramatic Dream bike but Hirata stole it and crashed into the chairs. Takagi attempted the Old School rope walk across the barrier but Toru Owashi knocked him into the orange chairs. The staff got so angry at Takagi he took himself out of the match. Danshoku Dieno used a Power Bomb to lift Keigo Nakamura up to Super Sasadango Machine on the ring apron. Sasadango then Suplexed Nakamura over the ropes and into the ring to win the match.
After the match Sasadango complained about himself and Dieno not being booked for “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” yet. They want a match against NOAH wrestlers and Sasadango doesn’t care who it is as long as it shows the different ideologies between DDT and NOAH. Dieno copped on and tried to stop Sasadango, realizing who he was going to challenge. Sasadango went ahead and said he wants Takashi Sugiura! Sasadango and an unwilling Dieno are going to fight Sugiura-gun! Sasadango tried to convince Dieno it’s a good idea because the match might get them on the cover of Shukan Puroresu.
In the opening match between the rookies, Hideki Okatani defeated Toui Kojima. The less experience Kojima hit a Full Nelson Buster but missed a Diving Body Press. He defended himself from the Northern Lights Suplex the first time but Okatani wore him down until he got to hit the move for the win.
The King Of DDT 2021 begins on 16th June. The 16 entries are Akito, Jun Akiyama, Yuki Ueno, Tetsuya Endo, Makoto Oishi, Shunma Katsumata, Chris Brookes, Yukio Sakaguchi, Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao, Konosuke Takeshita, HARASHIMA, Kazusada Higuchi, Yuji Hino, MAO and Naomi Yoshimura.
Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao Vs Chris Brookes, Shunma Katsumata & MAO has been added to “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021”.
New additions to the “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” Battle Royal include Makoto Oishi, Saki Akai, Antonio Honda, Yusuke Okada, Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata, Yuya Koroku, Yuji Hino, Shu Sakurai and Yuna Manase. The NOAH entries will be announced at a later date.
