BASARA “BASARA 251 ~UTAGE~”, 21/06/2024
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino defeated Lil’ Kraken & Leo Isaka when Nakano pinned Isaka with the Kenkatabami (8:53).
2. FUMA, KUBITO & Daichi Kazato defeated SAGAT, Gouma Ryu & Antonio Honda by Referee Stoppage when Kazato submitted Ryu with the Trigger Point (9:01).
3. Karate Master & Minoru Fujita defeated Takumi Tsukamoto & Judomaster when Karate Master pinned Judomaster with the Let’s Seikentsu Mid-level Thrust (8:05).
4. Yasu Urano defeated Isami Kodaka with the Modern Times (13:34).
5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Kazusada Higuchi (c) when Abe submitted Nakatsu with the Arm Hold Manjigatame (15:33).
*Harimao fails in V5. Astronauts becomes the 12th Iron Fist Tag Team Champions!

That’s all she wrote for Harimao’s run as the Iron Fist Tag Team Champions. The titles now belong to Astronauts! It happened when Fuminori Abe trapped Ryota Nakatsu in the Manjigatame while Takuya Nomura cut off Kazusada Higuchi by putting him in a similar submission hold. Abe told Nomura after the match they will go on a fierce road of title defences that only they can do. Not only are they going to liven up BASARA but the rest of the wrestling world too! They are even thinking about defending the belts overseas.

In a manner similar to Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s recent disappearances, Ryuichi Sekine wasn’t anywhere to be found for his match today (apparently he took a nap somewhere backstage and overslept). Luckily a replacement was found in a newcomer called Karate Master. Just like Judomaster his martial arts talents are cancelled out by his lack of pro wrestling knowledge. However he did know how to pin his opponent and did so after hitting Judomaster with a Karate style Diving Fist Drop. After the match Minoru Fujita and Takumi Tsukamoto continued to fight each other. Fujita blamed it on the karate gi he wore for the match. He claims it made him more fired up than usual so he will never wear it again.

Last month SAGAT and Gouma Ryu had a confrontation that included Ryu objecting to SAGAT making Superman references without permission to use the trademark. That must have all been solved this month because SAGAT wore his Superman inspired gear, Antonio Honda was straight up wearing a full Superman costume and Ryu revealed during the match he was also wearing a Superman costume beneath his suit. Unfortunately their superpowers werent’ strong enough and Daichi Kazato rendered Ryu unconscious by grabbing the trigger points in his shoulders.

3. Sanshiro Takagi Indefinite Rest Road ~ Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi defeated Kazuki Hirata with the Stone Cold Stunner (7:06).
4. Special Single Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Makoto Oishi ended in a No Contest (2:55).
4a. Rematch: Takeshi Masada & Ilusion defeated Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi when Masada pinned Oishi with the Masada No Chikara KOBU Mukimuki (1:58).
5. BURNING Vs DAMNATION T.A!: Daisuke Sasaki, KANON & MJ Paul defeated Tetsuya Endo, Yuki Iino & Yuya Koroku when KANON submitted Koroku with the Just Cobra Twist (9:10).
6. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Fuminori Abe defeated HARASHIMA & Keigo Nakamura when Ueno submitted Nakamura with the Blackout Sleeper (14:49).
7. DDT Universal Title: MAO (c) defeated Shiryu with the Michinoku Driver II (19:45).
*V9 for MAO.

Big stakes were put together for the DDT Universal Title match. Shiryu will be retiring in Michinoku Pro next week and thinks it would be suitable if he became a champion when it happens. Then Kaz Hayashi approached him, passing along the challenge from MAO. The match would be the closest MAO could ever get to doing The 37KAMIINA Vs Kaientai☆DX. Shiryu warned MAO he would do anything it takes to beat him for the belt today. MAO understood and even made a request on the day of the show. If Shiryu wins then MAO wants him to seal the Universal Title away when he retires because Shiryu deserves to keep a championship with the word “Universal” attached to it. During the match Shiryu proved he would do anything to win by brawling with MAO away from ringside. When they returned MAO’s head was bleeding and Shiryu had swapped his face mask for his heel mask. A ref bump back in the ring led to Shiryu attacking MAO with a chair and followed it up with a Power Bomb onto a table that MAO bounced right off. MAO regained control though hitting a Whirlwind Kick, Palm Strike and Iai Kick. He then used a familiar Kaientai☆DX finisher the Michinoku Driver II to win the match. MAO said when the switch was flipped halfway through the match he figured out just how much of an influence Shiryu was for him. Shiryu is a strange guy but MAO is even stranger! He will be taking a break from defending the Universal Title for now because he wants to focus on the KO-D Openweight Title match with Yuki Ueno coming up next month.

TOKYO FM Hall is seen as the holy land for Fuminori Abe because the venue was home to Battlarts in the 1990s. So he was very motivated to wrestle there today and wanted Yuki Ueno to work just as hard as he does. Ueno told Abe the next time he comes to DDT they should wrestle each other. He thinks that would be more fun than teaming together. Even after they won their match he can’t figure out why they were paired together for the show. Abe also thinks Keigo Nakamura looks like a Mokugyo. He wants to see Nakamura turn his rebellious spirit into passion.

After that match took place, HARASHIMA & Akito were attacked by DAMNATION T.A backstage. Hisaya Imabayashi tried to stop them but Daisuke Sasaki attacked him too, sticking a clothes hanger into his mouth and holding him hostage until he gets a rematch against Smile Squash for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. Akito reluctantly agreed because he thinks the former champions do have the right for a rematch despite their actions. He also wants it to happen on the biggest stage so the match will happen at Sumo Hall on 21st July!

A supposed lifelong grudge between Danshoku Dieno and Makoto Oishi was pushed to the side when their match got changed midway through. Dieno couldn’t keep his behaviour under control and ended up stripping both Takeshi Masada and Ilusion down to their underwear. The match was ruled a No Contest due to this. Masada & Ilusion then demanded a match against Dieno & Oishi so they can get some payback. Together they physically manipulated Dieno into giving Oishi the Danshoku Driver before picking up the win themselves when Masada pinned Oishi with his finisher.

The first of two 5 Way Matches happening this month was for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title being held by Kazuma Sumi. But when the match began it was Shunma Katsumata who was targeted by the other four. He was able to fight off most of them except for Yukio Naya. By that point Naya became the man to beat with To-y and Ilusion joining forces to fight him off. Naya took control again and gave Katsumata the Choke Slam. But before he could make another move, Sumi hit Naya with a Missile Dropkick and landed on top of Katsumata, pinning him to win the match. Sumi is now confident he will win next week’s 5 Way Match with the DDT Extreme Title on the line so he can become a double crown champion. The five wrestlers got into more arguements with each other backstage as the match.

6. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Fuminori Abe Vs HARASHIMA & Keigo Nakamura
7. DDT Universal Title: MAO (c) Vs Shiryu

MAO used the GLEAT/DDT show to send a message to Kaz Hayashi. He wants to defend the DDT Universal Title against Hayashi’s masked alter ego from his Michinoku Pro days. That’s right he wants to wrestle Shiryu! MAO thinks it will be fitting for Hayashi to take up the gimmick again and fight for a championship with “Universal” in the name for old time’s sake.

2. Special 6-Man Tag Match ~ BURNING Vs TEAM NOAH!: Tetsuya Endo, Yuki Iino & Yuya Koroku Vs Go Shiozaki, Atsushi Kotoge & Hi69
3. Road To PETER PAN 2024! Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata Vs MAO & To-y

The build up to “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2024” begins with The 37KAMIINA clashing against each other in tag matches as previews for the big KO-D Openweight Title match. BURNING and TEAM NOAH continue their growing feud too.

It is thanks to Takagi that both Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh entered the world of pro wrestling. They get to play a part in his final bunch of matches for the time being. Danshoku Dieno isn’t being left out of this either.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. FIFTEEN: SEHNSUCHT IST SO GRAUSAM”, 02/07/2024
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa

1. Special Single Match: Antonio Honda Vs Mad Dr. Ueki
2. Special Single Match: Mecha Mummy Vs Mr. Bueno
3. Special Single Match: MAO Vs Sayaka Unagi
4. Special Tag Match: Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi Vs Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura

More Astronauts matches to pay attention to in this side of the puro bubble. They are entering the cramped little space that is ARENA Shimokitazawa for what will certainly be a crazy match against CDK.

Sayaka Unagi also joins in the Baka Gaijin + Friends circle for the first time. Perhaps the hardest working self promoter in the business today gets to fight MAO too which is a pretty high profile matchup nowadays.

The newest regular to Baka Gaijin shows is the masked man Mr. Bueno. He impressed with a victory against Antonio Honda on the last show but how will he handle the mayhem that usually follows after Mecha Mummy? Speaking of Honda he takes on Mummy’s current handler Mad Dr. Ueki.

2. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Tetsuya Endo & Yuki Iino (c) Vs Go Shiozaki & Atsushi Kotoge
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs MAO

I’m glad to see we’re actually getting something out of DDT’s appearances on the NOAH Limit Break shows. So far on the shows both Tetsuya Endo & Yuki Iino have been wanting to fight and beat Go Shiozaki to no avail. Now Shiozaki is coming back over to DDT to help Atsushi Kotoge try and win the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Shiozaki has also been a member in past iterations of BURNING so what does he think of the current day version?

The four Tokyo Joshi Pro talents travelling over to England for the joint show with EVE are Miyu Yamashita, Raku, Mahiro Kiryu and HIMAWARI. Also taking part on the show is Aja Kong! Since the show is happening in between the final rounds of the Tokyo Princess Cup that means the four names mentioned above will not be taking part in the tournament this year. It’s also been confirmed that Maki Itoh will not be in the tournament either because she will be on her next tour of America during August.

BASARA “BASARA 252 ~TAKAGARI 26~”, 15/07/2024
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Union MAX Title: Minoru Fujita (c) Vs Takumi Tsukamoto

The next Union MAX Title match will be held in Takashimadaira Kumin Center for the first time. The venue has been host to BASARA’s B-shows over the last five years with a more relaxed and (more importantly) sober atmosphere compared to the events held in Shin-Kiba 1st RING. It adds another element to Minoru Fujita’s title reign because he has made it his mission to have emotional matches that can only be found in BASARA. Takumi Tsukamoto shares the same vision for his upcoming title challenge here.

GANBARE☆PRO “DISASTER ARTIST 2024”, 15/07/2024
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Moeka Haruhi Return Match: Shuichiro Katsumura & YuuRI Vs Yusaku Ito & Moeka Haruhi
2. Fire Festival – A Block: Yumehito Imanari Vs Satsuki Nagao
3. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Keisuke Ishii (c) Vs Hong Kong International Police Man

One of the most unexpected people you can think of will be the next Spirit Of Ganbare Title challenger coming up in July. Hong Kong International Police Man and his co-workers has always shown up at Ganbare☆Pro events whenever a particular wrestler booked for the show goes missing. In fact he has never interacted with Keisuke Ishii before so this is a brand new match-up for both of them.

This year Yumehito Imanari will be entering the annual Fire Festival tournament held by ZERO1. As part of the deal one of his block matches will be taking place in a GanPro show. Satsuki Nagao will be his opponent for that match.

What was already a touching story surrounding Moeka Haruhi’s return match is now even more so because of who she is teaming with. Haruhi recently donated one of her kidneys while years ago Yusaku Ito was the recipient of a kidney transplant.

BASARA “BASARA 250 ~TAKAGARI 25~” Results

June 2, 2024

BASARA “BASARA 250 ~TAKAGARI 25~”, 02/06/2024
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Daichi Kazato defeated Takato Nakano with a Rocket Punch (10:09).
2. FUMA & KUBITO defeated Lil’ Kraken & Takahiro Katori when KUBITO pinned Kraken with the Death Metal Roll (13:11).
3. Isami Kodaka & Judomaster Vs Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga ended in a Double Countout (13:22).
4. Ryota Nakatsu defeated Masato Kamino with a Cradle (14:43).
5. Takumi Tsukamoto, SAGAT & Fuminori Abe defeated Minoru Fujita, Yasu Urano & Ryuichi Sekine when Tsukamoto pinned Sekine with the Running Zudon (17:32).

After the main event Takumi Tsukamoto challenged Minoru Fujita for the Union MAX Title at the next Takashimadaira Kumin Center show on 15th July. Fujita said the atmosphere for this title match will be different because the audience in Takashimadaira are more calm and sober than the crowd who gets to drink a lot at BASARA shows held in Shin-Kiba 1st RING. Backstage Tsukamoto said he wants to do a match that only BASARA can do, one that will dig deep into their hearts.

Yesterday it was announced that Astronauts will be challenging Harimao for the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles on 21st June. Fuminori Abe was on the winning side in the main event today. He also walked past Fujita during Fujita’s post match comments backstage.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi appeared with the other members of Asian Kung Fu Revolution at the start of the show to announce he has now become a first class Love Intructor. However seconds before his match took place he had to pull out when he suddenly came down with another bout of love sickness. Judomaster replaced him, making his first public appearance since losing the Iron Fist Tag Titles match with Tsukamoto a week ago. His tag match ended in a double countout when everyone fought up to the entrance stage. FUMA appeared in the ring armed with a rifle sensing wildlife was nearby and he shot down all of the wrestlers on the stage. Judomaster tried to run back to the ring but FUMA shot him last and the referee finished the 20 count.

The mystery wrestler entering the Battle Royal has been described by DDT to be “Dragon” related. I’d outright say who it is based on the silhouette used on the updated promo image but she’d strangle me for spoiling it.

There might be more wrestlers being added to the Battle Royal. Tyson Maeguchi is trying to get added to the match. Shuichiro Katsumura photoshopped him into the graphic on Twitter but I can’t tell if it’s just a joke or not. He also did the same for Minoru Fujita but that one is definitely meant to be a joke… I think?

6. Kazusada Higuchi 10th Anniversary Match ~ Harimao Vs BURNING!: Kazusada Higuchi, Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida Vs Tetsuya Endo, Yuki Iino & Yuya Koroku

Ten years of Kazusada Higuchi has flown by. Feels like it was only yesterday when he was the unbeaten DNA rookie who was good enough to already get KO-D Openweight Title shots.

If Akiyama wanted to teach Kotoge something new he should have made him team with Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko.

The amateur pro wrestling group Nariagari returns for a dark match. Since Sanshiro Takagi is in the match it must have been another thing to tick off the checklist before his break from wrestling.

7. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Sanshiro Takagi

There is currently a dispute going on over who is going to be the referee for the KO-D Openweight Title match. Hisaya Imabayashi is leaning towards having Yukinori Matsui as the official, which is normally the case. However Sanshiro Takagi thinks Matsui is too strict and wants somebody who will give him more leeway to do what he wants. He agrees the match will still be held under normal rules though. Yuki Ueno is willing as the champion to fight Takagi under his conditions. However he would prefer the match to have a strict referee so he wants Matsui to be the first choice.

5. Special Single Match: Chris Brookes Vs Kazuki Hirata
6. The 37KAMIINA Vs D.O.A!: Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & To-y Vs Jun Akiyama, Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi

If losing in the King Of DDT semi-final wasn’t enough to annoy Chris Brookes, he now has to relive last year’s D-Oh Grand Prix when he was the only wrestler in his block to lose against Kazuki Hirata. There is probably no better time for Hirata to go for the upset win in a non-tournament rematch.

Keep an eye out for Yuya Koroku from this point onwards. He was the one to pin Poison Sawada JULIE over the weekend after being outnumbered for the finishing stretch of the match. I’m not saying he’s going to beat MAO next but we might be getting the start of something with him.

TOKYO FM Hall

1. DDT Universal Title: MAO (c) Vs X

The Sumo Hall main event and KO-D Title shot is on the horizon but first MAO wants to defend his DDT Universal Title. His schedule prevents him from travelling overseas for the time being so he wants to defend the title against a wide range of wrestlers in Japan. He has begun searching for his first challenger and will choose one for a title match taking place at TOKYO FM Hall in a few weeks time.

Fuminori Abe will be on the show. That could be related to the title match or it might not.

Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Special Single Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Masato Tanaka
2. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs MAO

MAO is now guaranteed to be part of the Sumo Hall main event. It will be either Yuki Ueno or Sanshiro Takagi who will be against him as the defending KO-D Champion. Takagi said he would defend the belt against MAO in a Weapon Rumble if he is the champ.

Next time Konosuke Takeshita is in DDT he will face Masato Tanaka in a rematch from March 2020. Tanaka successfully defended the KO-D Title against Takeshita back then in what was the last KO-D Title match held in front of an audience before the global pandemic shut everything down. Did anyone notice that this year’s Fire Festival tournament is the first one without Tanaka taking part in it? I know ZERO1 is a zombie promotion now but how can you have a Fire Festival without Tanaka in it?

Minoru Suzuki and El Desperado will be on the show.

??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Ryuichi Sekine & Chicharito Shoki defeated Takumi Tsukamoto & Judomaster when Sekine submitted Tsukamoto with the Let’s Combine (9:33).
2. 3 Way Match: Ryota Nakatsu defeated FUMA and SAGAT when Nakatsu pinned SAGAT with a Back Roll Clutch (11:11).
3. Lil’ Kraken & Gaia Hox defeated Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino when Kraken pinned Nakano with a School Boy (11:05).
4. Fuminori Abe defeated Daichi Kazato with a Cradle Cutback (12:56).
5. Isami Kodaka & Minoru Fujita defeated KUBITO & Yasu Urano when Kodaka pinned KUBITO with the Long Flight Vertical Drop Brainbuster (22:05).

It was confirmed after the main event that Isami Kodaka and Daichi Kazato will have a No. 1 Contender’s match for the Union MAX Title on 11th May. Kazato had a setback today after he lost to Fuminori Abe after a careless mistake ended with him getting cradled for the three count. But he assured everyone he stepped up by two or three levels despite the result. Kodaka told him it doesn’t matter how high he levels up if he doesn’t win in the end. Kazato assured everyone he has no intentions of losing the match against Kodaka.

Earlier, Abe told Kazato after their match that if he can beat Kodaka then he will have all the momentum to win the MAX Title from Minoru Fujita. When that happens Abe will challenge him for a title shot because he now considers himself the next No. 1 Contender after Kazato or Kodaka!

Things are getting uneasy between Takumi Tsukamoto & Judomaster. They lost their tag match in the opener and got into an argument afterwards that needed them to be separated. In unrelated news this weekend is the 13th anniversary of Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s debut.

Today’s show had free tickets for everyone under 18 year’s old because it is Children’s Day in Japan.

1. Yasu Urano & Yuki Ishikawa defeated Ryuichi Sekine & Masato Kamino when Urano pinned Sekine with a School Boy (12:24).
2. Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga defeated SAGAT & Gouma Ryu when Senga pinned Ryu after the Goregrind from SAGAT (10:40).
3. FUMA, KUBITO & Daichi Kazato defeated Isami Kodaka, Takato Nakano & Gaia Hox when Kazato pinned Nakano with a Rocket Punch (12:28).
4. Ryota Nakatsu & Fuminori Abe defeated Takumi Tsukamoto & Judomaster when Nakatsu pinned Judomaster with the V Slider (12:09).
5. Union MAX Title: Minoru Fujita (c) defeated Lil’ Kraken with the Mechakucha-katame (17:23).
*V3 for Minoru Fujita.

Just like what happened at the last BASARA show, pulling off Lil’ Kraken’s mask comes with a big risk. Minoru Fujita unmasked him during the main event and Kraken blinded him with Poison Mist out of self defence. Kraken continued to wrestle unmasked for the rest of the match but was caught in a modified Gokuraku-gatame and had to give up. Fujita was still blinded after the match and had to give his victory speech while being unable to see anything. Daichi Kazato then entered the ring and excitedly challenged Fujita for the Union MAX Title. However Isami Kodaka demanded Kazato face him in a singles match first. Kodaka has his own plans in mind but he will only reveal what it is after he beats Kazato.

The No. 1 Contenders for the IRON FIST Tag Team Titles hit a speed bump on the road to their title shot. One-half of the champions Ryota Nakatsu was able to beat Takumi Tsukamoto & Judomaster while teaming with Fuminori Abe insteado of Kazusada Higuchi. Judomaster seems to remember what the rules of pro wrestling are but now the problem with him is his mask. Nakatsu kept pulling at his mask to block his sight and it eventually paid off with the win.

In Match #2 SAGAT hit Banana Senga with the Goregrind but they landed on top of Gouma Ryu. Since Ryu’s shoulders were pinned to the mat, the referee counted Senga pinning him instead of SAGAT pinning Senga.

The Yuki Ishikawa that fought in the opener is the Big Japan wrestler, not the shoot style fighter. Today was his first match with BASARA.

4. Yumehito Imanari & Tatsuhito Takaiwa defeated Ken Ohka & Fuminori Abe when Imanari pinned Ohka with the Lariat (16:46).
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Keisuke Ishii defeated Shuichiro Katsumura (c) with the Locomotion High Angle Double Arm DDT (19:59).
*Shuichiro Katsumura fails in V3. Keisuke Ishii becomes the 7th Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Champion!

A new chapter begins with a new champion! Keisuke Ishii is now the leading man for Ganbare☆Pro after he defeated Shuichiro Katsumura for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title. He was able to counter the Triple Three 3 Lock into a cradle to get Katsumura to let go of the hold. Ishii then hit the High Angle Double Arm DDT three times in a row to secure the title change. He wanted to speak after the match but Shinichiro Tominaga quickly grabbed the microphone off him. Tominaga said he wants to win the SOG Title and Ishii is a worthy champion. But it is a wrestler’s golden rule to take down their rival when they are weak. So that means Tominaga wants a shot at… the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles!

He noticed Katsumura was still recovering from the main event so he called out his tag team partner Takuya Wada, who he had defeated earlier in the show. Wada blamed Banny Oikawa for the result (she was the referee for their match) and asked Tominaga who is partner will be? Tominaga quietly admitted he asked everyone in the GanPro locker room but nobody stepped forward to accept his offer. However he still has friends in the student pro wrestling scene particularly in CWP who will do whatever he asks. Also today is Tominaga’s birthday so Wada cannot deny his wish. GROUND ABSOLUTE will accept his challenge and the match will take place on 18th May.

After that was all sorted out the new champion Ishii finally got to speak. He said today was the perfect moment for him to win the title and he feels lucky it went that way. GanPro is now under a new system which means he too is under a new system. Under this new system he will become the ace of GanPro! After the show had finished, Ishii announced to reporters that his first defence will be against Kouki Iwasaki on 18th May. Iwasaki had given him encouragement before today’s main event and he is also the kind of tough challenge Ishii wants to face.

Ken Ohka is feeling good despite losing his first GanPro match under the new management. He said GanPro will face a lot of hardships but it is something the group all built together. It does not need a parent company and will overcome any trouble that can get in their way. His attitude along with Yumehito Imanari has spread over to Tatsuhito Takaiwa and Fuminori Abe. Both of them admitted they did their best today because they got motivated from watching Ohka and Imanari.

There were a few changes to the undercard because Munetatsu Nakamura became unwell during the week and could not wrestle today. PSYCHO was added to Match #3. The match result was YuuRI pinning HARUKAZE and afterward she challenged Sayaka Unagi for the Kitsune World Title! YuuRI explained she wants to take GanPro worldwide and she can take a shortcut by winning Unagi’s championship from America. Unagi said she cannot see YuuRI going worldwide like she does but she wants to beat her in GanPro along with other people. She accepted the challenge and will assess YuuRI for the title on 18th May.

As already mentioned, Banny Oikawa was the referee for the Tominaga Vs Wada match. She almost became a target of some intentional crossfire moments which is why Wada blamed her for losing the match. However Tominaga did in fact beat him clean.

Rekka was moved to Match #1 as the replacement for Nakamura.

Moeka Haruhi announced she will return to wrestling and her first match back is happening on 15th July. She has been out of action since last summer after taking part in a kidney transplant operation for her sister. She said she may be small but she fights to leave a big impact with people. She hopes her return will move people’s hearts in a big way.

A new trainee was introduced to everyone. Shota Kawakami is a childhood friend of Munetatsu Nakamura and he will make his debut on 18th May. He said he wants to do his best to become the ace of pro wrestling inside a fiercely competitive ring.

At the start of the show Imanari revealed that he kept in contact with Shinjiro Otani during GanPro’s transition to their new system. Otani was originally an on-site manager for the promotion before his injury. He told Imanari he has no intention of giving up the role despite being unable to attend shows in his current condition. So it’s now publicly confirmed that Otani is continuing his role and Imanari will work as passionately as he does!
