Just like he promised, a damaged right arm didn’t stop Mizuki Watase from defending the Spirit Of Ganbare Title against Shinichiro Tominaga. His arm was targeted by the challenger but Watase fought through the pain and even used his right elbow to smash Tominaga over and over until he couldn’t kick out anymore. Watase said after the match that having hot matches helps make him grow. As long as he is in a ring and has the Spirit Of Ganbare Title, he wonders how far can he run? Which is why at the end of March Watase will be going to wrestle in America! He is doing this to set a small fire for Ganbare☆Pro that will eventually set the world ablaze!

Ganpro advisor Michiyoshi Mishima had an announcement about the newly created Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles. There will be a 4 team tournament taking place to crown the first champions beginning on 25th March with the final taking place on 1st May. Ken Ohka later asked Keisuke Ishii to enter the tournament together because they won their match today. Ishii turned him down because he has other plans in mind. Ohka then asked Shuichiro Katsumura to team with him. It took a little bit of convincing but Katsumura agreed to do it.

Both Moeka Haruhi & HARUKAZE gave words of encouragement to YuuRI & Yoshiko Hasegawa for their intentions to relaunch Ganbare☆Joshi. Haruhi said it was a brand started by themselves and Yuna Manase so she has high hopes for YuuRI & Hasegawa to carry it on. HARUKAZE also promised to do her best to support their efforts. Hasegawa talked about her original home promotion shutting down while she was away from wrestling. She had no place to return to until she found Ganpro. She wants to help build Ganjo into a brand that Manase can return to as well as be the place where Riara makes her debut. YuuRI said they will do her best on the reboot show on 1st April so all six Ganjo members can someday create a new story together!

It is approaching two years since HARASHIMA last fought for the KO-D Openweight Title. The physical belt has changed since then and he would like to hold the new design at least once. Basically big guys like Naya don’t like getting kicked in the face a lot.

ShunMao are still the KO-D Tag Team Champions so they are the ones defending the belts against Yukio Sakaguchi & Hikaru Machida. Meanwhile Bonno Dai Shacho get relegated to the dark match.

The three wrestlers producing their own matches for the show have come up with their decisions. Tetsuya Endo chose to do a rematch of his debut from 2012. When he teamed with Keisuke Ishii for his first match they lost to Akito & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi. Now over a decade later Endo wants revenge!

Kazuki Hirata feels indebted to both Toru Owashi and Yukio Sakaguchi so he made this match to show his gratitude for them. He wanted it to be a fair fight and worked out that if he teams with Soma Takao, Gota Ihashi & Keigo Nakamura then both sides will be even. Items brought by the fans are allowed to be used as weapons but Hirata advises everyone not to bring anything too dangerous.

The poor wrestlers entering the Pheromones Rumble are being labelled by the unit as sacrifices.

The card for DDT’s longest show of the year is about halfway complete. Hisaya Imabayashi decided that Akito must put together another team to try and destroy Pheromones once and for all. Toru Owashi, Hiroshi Yamato & Yusuke Okada are the ones getting drafted into this battle.

Gorgeous Matsuno sent a demand to DDT for the O-40 Title to be reactivated. The championship was vacated by Toru Owashi last October but Matsuno is the person most associated with the prize. DDT accepted the demand and will thrown Matsuno into a match with Makoto Oishi and Shinichiro Kawamatsu to see which man over the age of 40 is the best!

Given the unusual mix of wrestlers available we’re getting some unique matches going on. Hikaru Sato returns to DDT to team with HARASHIMA against the old Shuten-dōji team of Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi. There is a Hardcore match between the heavyweights Yukio Naya and MJ Paul. Then most odd of all is Kazuki Hirata challenging The Invisible Man to a fight! It will be the first time The Invisible Man will be in DDT since the Budokan Hall show in 2012!

3. All Pro-gun Vs New Pro-gun: Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Ken Ohka & Shota ended in a Double Countout (10:20).
3a. Rematch – The Return Of LariPro 2023: Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Ken Ohka & Shota ended in a Draw after a Quadruple Knockout (10:20).
4. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Mizuki Watase, Takuya Wada & Yuki Kanzaki defeated Shinichiro Tominaga, Tyson Maeguchi & Munetatsu Nakamura when Watase pinned Nakamura with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster (24:36).

The last Ganbare☆Pro show of today kept Mizuki Watase and Shinichiro Tominaga apart in different matches, although they did interact in a contract signing at the start of the show. The main event instead focused on Watase fighting against the rookie Munetatsu Nakamura. Watase encouraged his opponent to keep firing Elbow Strikes at him before stopping him with a Dropkick to the face. Nakamura kicked out of that but was then pinned with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster. Watase praised Nakamura after the match, telling him he’s happy to see such a gutsy newcomer in Ganpro.

The return of Lariat Pro Wrestling was delayed when both teams decided to do a match between “All Pro” and “New Pro” tributes. Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga were on the “All Pro” side while the “New Pro” team was made up of Ken Ohka & Shota. Everyone changed their movesets to the theme songs of famous wrestlers that played throughout the match. Things got out of hand and the fighting made its way out of the ring, causing the match to end in a Double Countout. A rematch immediately happened, this time under the Lariat Pro Wrestling brand. Everyone threw Lariats at each other until all four of them were knocked out, resulting in another draw.

The 3 Way Match turned into a scheduling nightmare because none of the original participants were around to take part. Hong Kong International Policeman was missing so Choun-Shiryu appeared in his place. Yoshiko Hasegawa was gone so Hong Kong Domestic Policewoman took her place. Then it turned out YuuRI wasn’t there either so Hong Kong International Policewoman had to substitute for her. The two Policewomen agreed to fight Shiryu two on one. He got annoyed by that and left the match halfway through. Then all of a sudden Hong Kong International Policeman finally showed up and started planting evidence on people to “catch” them red handed. He allegedly found a bag of pills in Daisuke Kiso’s pocket and made the referee overlook any of his cheating in return for letting him off the hook. The two Policewomen had enough though and double teamed the corrupt cop, pinning him together while Kiso made a fast three count. Hong Kong International Policeman was arrested after the match and dragged out of the venue in handcuffs.

The show began with a contract signing for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title match. Tominaga admitted that Watase embodies the spirit of Ganpro more than anyone else in the promotion, which means he works harder than everybody. Tominaga cannot match that but he would have never challenged Watase if he wasn’t confident he could beat him. Watase is nursing an injured arm but will fight through the pain. He heard Daisuke Kiso will be the referee so he told him not to stop the match if his arm injury gets worse. Even if he suffers a broken arm, Watase will still fight.

3. Secret Captain’s Fall Elimination 6-Man Tag Match: Mizuki Watase (C), Yumehito Imanari & HARUKAZE defeated Ken Ohka, Shinichiro Tominaga (C) & Moeka Haruhi (14:54).
3a. HARUKAZE eliminated Ken Ohka by Ring Out (7:17).
3b. Shinichiro Tominaga (C) eliminated HARUKAZE by Ring Out (8:20).
3c. Moeka Haruhi eliminated Yumehito Imanari by Ring Out (10:18).
3d. Mizuki Watase (C) eliminated Moeka Haruhi by Ring Out (11:32).

Soma Takao got one over on Shota in the latest match of their rivalry by catching him in the Official Endless Waltz for the three count. After the match ended Shota said he wanted to show his growth as a pro wrestler when he came back from America. That’s why he constantly wrestled against Takao instead of reforming ROMANCE DAWN with him. However the recent announcement of the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles being established made Shota rethink his plans. He wants to win those belts with Takao! ROMANCE DAWN are going to be back together. But before they do Shota and Takao agreed to have a singles match against each other to settle their rivalry once and for all.

Mizuki Watase got some revenge on Shinichiro Tominaga for what happened earlier today. On the first show Tominaga made Watase submit in the main event. Here on the second show Watase got Tominaga to pass out to a Wrist-Clutch Front Neck Lock! Afterwards Watase brought up the Spirit Of Ganbare Title match happening in two days time. He said nobody comes to Ganbare☆Pro shows wanting to see the wrestlers think about tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Any wrestler with that mindset does not deserve the title. Watase’s arm was already hurt but now so is Tominaga’s. Will Tominaga be willing to risk his arm to become the champion?

When the second show began, Shuichiro Katsumura said he was feeling tired but realised that there were fans in the audience who paid to see all three Ganpro shows today. According to him the ticket sales mean those fans are supporting the Japanese economy!

The winning team in the main event were inspired by Keiji Muto’s retirement to do their best today. At the start of the show Yumehito Imanari said it is now up to himself, Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga to become the new Three Musketeers that will take charge of a wrestling world without Muto. There was a slight problem with that idea because Ishii grew up watching All Japan and New Japan was not on TV where Tominaga lived.

That didn’t matter in the end because Tominaga was the last man standing, submitting Mizuki Watase to win. After the match Tominaga told Watase not to feel ashamed of losing because today he fought Super Amateur 4 Tominaga! In two days time they will fight each other for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title in Takashimadaira Ward Community Center. Tominaga will win the title there and transform into Super Amateur 6 Tominaga!

The addition of Ryota Nakatsu to Harimao has fuelled some DNA nostalgia among the DDT roster. MAO was one of Nakatsu’s regular opponents on that brand so it’s time to see them fight each other for the first time in a long time.

An all BURNING tag match is being put together to build up Jun Akiyama’s upcoming DDT Extreme Title defence against Kotaro Suzuki.

Whoever is the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion on 4th March is supposed to defend the title in a Battle Royal that day. Penelope Ford is currently the champion but she’ll be going back to AEW with Kip Sabian after the 26th February Korakuen Hall show. If she is unable to return to DDT in time then the Battle Royal will go ahead with nothing on the line. DDT will then be left to figure out how they can get their belt back fair and square.

A press conference was held today to promote two of the big matches for the show. Both Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki admitted to have mixed feelings over having to fight each other for the Princess Of Princess Title. Mizuki has a lot of respect for her friend but has now found herself wanting to be the one who carries Tokyo Joshi Pro on her back by winning the Princess Title. Sakazaki does not want to wrestle Mizuki but given how much they mean to each other she understands she has no choice but to do it. She noticed their bond has changed over time since their match at “WRESTLE PRINCESS” two and a half years ago. Out of the ring everything between them is normal when they are together but recently inside the ring their emotions have become more complicated during their preview tag matches. With that being said, both of them say The Magical Sugar Rabbits are staying together no matter who wins. In fact, they believe they will become an even more exciting tag team after they are done fighting each other.

The other match talked about was Yuki Arai’s uphill battle against Aja Kong. Arai has spent a lot of time thinking since last week’s tag match. She’s been trying to do what she can but still feels like she cannot reach her goal yet. There is still a month left for her to prepare so she wants to have a match that will leave an impact both on herself and also Kong too. Kong said she is not concerned about thinking what it is like as a “monster” to fight an idol. If you stand in front of Kong in the ring then you are a pro wrestler in her eyes and she is not taking Arai lightly. She knows Arai is thinking of ways to counter her most famous moves so Kong too is thinking about how to counter Arai’s moveset. It will be wrestler against wrestler at Ariake Coliseum so Kong wants to win!

Burlesque dancers will be performing while the match is going on. Since the match is being broadcast on PPV on the PIA LIVE STREAM service, fans watching can donate to support their favorite wrestlers too. ShunMao said the match will be so hot the club will turn into a sauna. However they are already looking past their opponents because they are also looking forward to defending the KO-D Tag Team Titles against Yukio Sakaguchi & Hikaru Machida a few days later.

Meanwhile Bonno Dai Shacho have taken up pole dance training to prepare for the match! Fuminori Abe became inspired to use the surrounding environment to its fullest, wanting to use the poles on stage to create the most gruesome and erotic wrestling move he can think of. Sanshiro Takagi loved the idea but has no experience using poles so the two of them took a class at Pole & Fitness Studio Lycoris in Itabashi. There they were given a lesson by Keiko, a world pole dancing champion. Keiko suggested they should use a Headscissors while hanging from the pole and in practice it turned out to be a very powerful technique. At the end of the class both Takagi & Abe felt confident what they learned will win them the KO-D Tag Titles!

“The Unfinished Genius” is a new nickname that’s been given to Yukio Naya to mark his rise up the ranks in DDT. There has always been high expectations for his pro wrestling career and he was reminded of it when he threw out the challenge at Yuji Hino for the KO-D Openweight Title last month. The growing confidence makes him think he will definitely beat HARASHIMA to become the No. 1 Contender. HARASHIMA has other ideas. He needs the KO-D Title to prove he is still the centre of DDT. Due to the company’s attempts to push their younger wrestlers, HARASHIMA hasn’t had much of a chance to showcase himself lately. This upcoming match may be his only way to remain in the main event scene for the time being.

Sakaguchi & Machida are currently standing on the sidelines waiting to see which tag team they will be facing for the KO-D Tag Titles. It does not matter who they face, their match plan will be the same. But Sakaguchi does admit he would prefer to see Takagi & Abe win because they represent the old DDT. Machida would be happy to fight either MAO or Abe because he knows how strong they are from his previous meetings with them in the ring.

With a spot on the DDT USA shows on the line, the D GENERATIONS CUP final is between Yuya Koroku and Takeshi Masada. It was Masada’s desire to get onto the American shows that caused this tournament to begin with and he is now one step away from achieving his goal. All of the other wrestlers in the tournament are facing each other in a 6-Man Tag Match. Koroku wants to continue his own momentum by finishing the tournament completely unbeaten, proving he is the strongest in his generation.

The show is also happening the day before “ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL 2023”. Kodaka has already been announced as BASARA’s representative for the show but Nakano is convinced he will be a part of it too. Whoever wins this match will probably be carrying the MAX Title into Korakuen Hall 24 hours later.

Harimao is having a little bit more presence in BASARA thanks to Ryota Nakatsu now joining the unit. Kazusada Higuchi is paying back the favour by bringing their team back here.

Does the name Kabuto Mitomi sound familiar? He used to appear regularly in Ganbare☆Pro and other places as Masayuki Mitomi. In 2019 he formed P.P.P Tokyo and changed his ring name to Kabuto Mitomi two years ago. His appearance here with Yumehito Imanari continues the growing relationship between GanPro and P.P.P.

The “Young Ganbare” wrestler takes on a member of the “Monthly Young Communication” generation when Munetatsu Nakamura faces Shota.

Freshly announced while I was typing this up is the next GCW Vs DDT match. Kazusada Higuchi takes on a man currently without any friends on the GCW side. Blake Christian has been undefeated in GCW singles matches so far this year. Beating Higuchi will be a big accomplishment to add to his momentum.

Keigo Nakamura has a chance to take the lead in the D GENERATIONS CUP B Block. Yuki Ishida already lost his first match and cannot afford to lose another. Over in the A Block Kazuma Sumi will try to avoid ending his tournament with three defeats in a row. Ilusion’s next match is happening on 11th February so where he stands on the 14th will be very different depending if he wins or loses that match. He may be fighting for the top spot or his match with Sumi could end up becoming the wooden spoon match of their group.

A bunch of sauna related brands are sponsoring many of the matches on the show. The winners of each sponsored match will receive a prize such as free sauna passes and branded clothing.

This will also be the first time Kong fights against Miyu Yamashita. Their only previous match together was as a tag team back in 2020. Moka Miyamoto teamed with Kong once before in 2021.
