2. Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion defeated Chris Brookes, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Hinata Kasai when Okatani pinned Kasai with the Skewered Claymore (12:53).
3. Takeshi Masada defeated MJ Paul with the Manburi (8:50).
4. Special 3 Way Match: Yuki Ueno defeated MAO (w/ KIMIHIRO) and Kazuki Hirata when Ueno pinned MAO after a Choke Slam By The Stand (14:23).
5. Special Single Match: Kazusada Higuchi defeated Yuya Koroku with a Single Leg Crab Hold (12:54).
6. Kumamoto Castle Sauna No Yu Presents Special 6-Man Tag Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA, Sanshiro Takagi & HARASHIMA defeated To-y, Daichi Sato & Yuki Ishida when TAKESHITA pinned Ishida with the Raging Fire (20:04).

A homecoming show was the big chance for Yuki Ishida to claim some glory he’s been missing out on so much lately but it just wasn’t to be. Konosuke Takeshita gave him quite a beating that was done just as much to send a message to To-y & Daichi Sato. The D GENERATIONS trio tried launching a comeback on Sanshiro Takagi & HARASHIMA but Takeshita put Ishida away at the end with the Raging Fire. Takeshita had some words to say after the match but first ordered To-y & Sato to cover Ishida’s ears so he couldn’t hear them. Takeshita explained that Ishida gets cocky whenever he receives praise then called him a talented wrestler who is working hard, which should mean a lot coming from the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion! He told the local fans that the more they support Ishida, the stronger he will become. When it was Ishida’s time to talk, he said he will keep working hard to become a wrestler like Takeshita. He also brought up a goal to wrestle in his hometown of Yatsuhiro once a year as well as Kumamoto City once a year. To-y didn’t show Takagi the same respect, he flipped him off with his middle finger instead.

Just like in Osaka last month, MAO and Kazuki Hirata wore special glasses in their match that allowed them to use Stand powers on each other. Yuki Ueno was the odd man out until he got his hands on a pair of glasses that turned him into a Stand user too. Ueno then used his new abilities to Choke Slam MAO and Hirata at the same time without actually touching them to win the 3 Way Match.

Takeshi Masada used what looks like the Busaiku Knee Kick to beat MJ Paul. His version of the move is now called Manburi.

The sickness bug continues to change DDT’s lineups going into the weekend. KANON, Akito, Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya and now Jun Akiyama will miss this weekend’s shows due to feeling ill. Tetsuya Endo over in NOAH will be missing a show on Sunday too and his is the only report that says he caught the flew. The DDT pages only say the wrestlers mentioned above are all unwell.

However MAO has recovered from his sick day and will make the shows.

The double title match is something that Yuki Ueno really wants to put across as a big deal so he asked DDT to put their best effort into the pre-match hype video to tell the story right to the audience. He also doesn’t want the match itself to risk being undercut by the video so he is forcing Super Sasadango Machine to skip the pre-match PowerPoint Presentation! Sasadango reluctantly agreed because he has a secret weapon that can win him both the KO-D Openweight Title and DDT Universal Title. He has the dreaded Reverse Shrimp Hold that he purposely kept hidden in his moveset for his entire career and now is the time for him to use it!

We have another Konosuke Takeshita match in DDT to look forward to this month and it is a doozy. Both he and Shinya Aoki want to have a rematch from their January 2022 bout so let them have at it! They did wrestle each other far more recently, during Wrestlemania Weekend in Las Vegas this past April. But one on one it’s been quite a while.

Both members of Strange Love Connection falling sick and missing some matches has ended up making a few wrestlers from DAMNATION T.A mad. Daisuke Sasaki wants them to give up the KO-D Tag Team Titles if they’re going to be weak like this, unlike him who injured his ribs the last time he was in a KO-D Tag Titles match and was able to come back from it. Hideki Okatani made the challenge even more serious by attack KIMIHIRO with his bamboo stick when the MC was performing by himself without MAO or KANON there to protect him.

A new twist on an old favorite awaits for the DDT Extreme Title match. Sanshiro Takagi loves the Weapon Rumble while To-y loves gambling. So you put them together to get the Weapon Gamble! The match is won under normal means but every now and then a new weapon will be brought down to the ring. For every weapon that shows up, To-y and Takagi will play a gambling game where the winner gets to use the weapon. It will be against the rules for a wrestler to use a weapon they didn’t win.

There will be a contract signing during the show for Yuki Ueno and Super Sasadango Machine. It will be for their double title match taking place later in the month.

On 22nd November Daisuke Sasaki will turn 40 years old. As soon as he realized he will become eligible for the O-40 Title he went and challenged Antonio Honda to a title match.

From this point on to the end of November DDT will be joined by a guest tag team from BZW in Europe. Rivality consists of Belgian wrestlers MBM & Ultima Sombra who may sound familiar to those who followed MAO & Yoshihiko’s adventures around Europe in 2024. They beat Rivality on a BZW show in France but haven’t fought each other since then. Yoshihiko is out injured but as far as I know MAO & Yoshihiko still hold the BZW Tag Team Titles together. Rivality’s first match in DDT puts them in the ring against MAO again so maybe that thread will get back on track.

To celebrate his 16th Anniversary in wrestling, Akito will don the stripes and officiate a match rather than wrestle in it. I bet Kazuki Hirata ruins it somehow.

Yuki Ueno now holds both the KO-D Openweight Title and the DDT Universal Title. His next challenger is an unusual one but has a convincing enough reason to be in this position. They had a match late last year where afterwards Ueno promised to give Sasadango a title shot once he became the KO-D Champion again. Well Ueno won the belt not once but twice in 2025 and yet Sasadango never got was was promised to him. To make up for it, Ueno is also putting the Universal Title on the line since he just won it from Minoru Suzuki and Sasadango once had a retirement match against Suzuki (as Muscle Sakai).

The DDT Extreme Champion of the Reiwa era has one more opponent from the title’s past threatening to take the belt off of him. To-y was given a Stunner by Sanshiro Takagi at Sumo Hall as a reminder that the championship was originally created by Takagi in the first place. It is always a good thing for a DDT wrestler be given the opportunity to drive the boss nuts in a crazy match.

The expectation is for Dieno to be fully recovered from his health problems in time to make his return on this show.

I think I lost Demus… Nope, he’s on this show and so will Rivality. Phew, that was a close one. I almost had to panic there.

The tag team of Hiroyo Matsumoto & Yuki Arai is coming back for a second go around since the first time went so well. Toga will be one of their opponents again and she is looking forward to rematching with Matsumoto, especially since she now has Yuna Manase as her own tag team partner. The mystery wrestler on the Ω team today was somebody who hasn’t been in DDT in some form since 2011 and even then his last true appearance happened before that. It was Darkside HERO! His sudden apperance turned the match against DAMNATION T.A into a mostly heel versus heel affair. It looked like DAMNATION T.A were on the way to winning as the dirtier team but Daisuke Sasaki missed a chairshot and accidentally hit Shogun Okamoto instead. Darkside HERO! took out Okamoto with the Somato and Yuji Hino sealed the deal by pinning MJ Paul with the Fuckin’ BOMB. Makoto Oishi told Darkside HERO! that if Ω are ever in trouble again they will call him for help. Darkside HERO! promised to rush over whenever that happens.

It’s only a few times a year when Kota Umeda wrestle in DDT so he wants to make them count. He was on the losing side when the other hometown wrestler Yuki Ishida pinned Takeshi Masada. Umeda is currently one-half of the Kyushu Pro Tag Team Champions and he feels he should not be losing this way. So if there is ever a chance, he wants Kazusada Higuchi & Ishida to challenge him for the belts. Higuchi thought of the same idea and thinks it might be an interesting direction to go.

Jun Akiyama taught Toy Kojima a painful lesson today but it is also meant to be a motivating one. He won their match by locking in a Cross Armbreaker and getting the referee to stop the bout to save Kojima from injury. According to Akiyama backstage, the message was to never give up on your feelings even when you fail. If Kojima wants to be in the match for the vacant KO-D Tag Team Titles then he should not forget how he feels today and fight with all his might. Yuki Ueno also gave encouraging comments about Kojima, saying it is his energy that will help them win the vacant titles.

MAO and Kazuki Hirata have been chosen to compete in the vacant DDT Extreme Title match. MAO thinks it is fitting to be the next person to hold the title after Katsumata. Hirata understands that would be lovely story telling but that doesn’t matter because he is going to win it instead! He expects the match to be so exciting it will help Katsumata recover quicker.

Now in his 30s, Tetsuya Endo is starting to notice it takes longer for him to recover from his matches so it motivates him to see the next generation rise. That is why he wants to face Nick Wayne in a singles match for Wayne’s DDT debut in Japan to keep him sharp for Matt Cardona in July.

Sanshiro Takagi wants to team up with Eruption one time before Saki Akai’s retirement takes place. His King Of DDT match against Sakaguchi also inspired him to come up with the idea. Ryota Nakatsu is looking forward to facing Takagi because he likes fighting his bosses. Just ask Isami Kodaka in BASARA.

Not sure what this bit of news will end up being but DDT will have a “big announcement” revealed on their Youtube channel this Wednesday. What it is or if they are being honest by calling it big I do not know. The synopsis on the video’s page does not provide any clues as far as I can see. A previous kind of tease they did like this was the announcement of “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022” last year so maybe this one could be related to “ULTIMATE PARTY 2023” in November?

The original plan was for ShunMao to defend the KO-D Tag Team Titles on this show. However Shunma Katsumata injured his foot during yesterday’s DDT Extreme Title defence and has since been diagnosed with a fractured talus bone. He is going to get surgery for it and agreed to vacate both the KO-D Tag Titles and the Extreme Title. New champions for both titles will be crowned on the Korakuen Hall show instead.

Nick Wayne will be on the show, kicking off his tour of Japan with DDT.

In today’s press conference Brookes said all four people he beat to win the King Of DDT (HARASHIMA, Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Akiyama and Kazusada Higuchi) all mean a lot to him and are also big parts of DDT’s history. The cheers of the fans also pushed him to victory which makes him feel even happier to be with DDT. The last time he wrestled in Sumo Hall was a year ago when he and Masahiro Takanashi won the KO-D Tag Titles. His parents were there to see him wrestle and he remembers telling them the next time he has a match there it will be in the main event with the KO-D Title on the line! He knows how strong Hino is but has become confident he can beat him.

Tetsuya Endo was not pleased to find out the big ex-WWE wrestler coming to challenge him is Matt Cardona. He heard Cardona is being paid 30 million yen for the booking and he thinks that kind of money is better off being spent on someone else. Like himself for example. Cardona is also bringing along Steph De Lander to be in his corner. She’s been described as his Sensational Sherri equivalent (since WWE took away his “Miss Elizabeth“, aka Chelsea Green) and will certainly add an extra threat towards Endo’s DDT Universal Title reign.

DDT is running a competition for fans to come up with a tag team name for Chiitan & Pokotan.

He decided that he and Kazuki Hirata will also get involved to make it a tag match in front of the Shinjuku Takashimaya crowd.
