Every week on Monday and Thursday mornings in Japan “THAT’S J-PW” will host an exclusive TJPW match filmed without an audience and a Q&A session, all presented in English. Chris Brookes & Baliyan Akki will provide commentary and the episodes will last around 15 minutes each. Tetsuya Koda explained the name has a double meaning. The J in “THAT’S J-PW” stands for both Japan and Joshi.

She can be called the Normal Of Normal Princess as far as she is concerned. Her other nickname is “Rat Chaser” (she used to have a catgirl gimmick) and she found her rat in the form of Kamifuku. All she has to do now is catch her! Kakuta also said that she has no senpai or kohai figures in TJPW because she came from somewhere else so she feels comfortable enough to stretch out and use her own fighting styles that she likes.

4. STOP THE Hidaka! Special Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki defeated Ikuto Hidaka & Yasu Urano when Iwasaki pinned Urano with the Vertical Drop Reverse DDT (17:26).
5. Special 6-Man Tag Just Before Korakuen: Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari & Shunma Katsumata defeated Takashi Sasaki, Shigehiro Irie & SAGAT when Ohka pinned SAGAT with the Flame Spear (17:46).

It’s just over two weeks away until Ganbare☆Pro returns to Korakuen Hall. Today’s go home show saw Ken Ohka run wild with help from Yumehito Imanari & Shunma Katsumata. Ohka went toe to toe with Takashi Sasaki then his team worked over on SAGAT. He took out Sasaki with the Flame Spear then hit the same move on SAGAT until he got the win. Ohka told Sasaki that this isn’t over because he wasn’t able to directly beat him today. His desire to beat Sasaki in a Fluorescent Lighttube Death Match has grown stronger! Sasaki said Ohka has a history of running away while he is hungry to go full force in the Lighttube Death Match. It’s not enough for Ohka to just be at Korakuen Hall, he must get the courage to meet Sasaki face to face!

Imanari said his target for the match was Shigehiro Irie because he hasn’t forgotten the match they had in Korakuen last October. Imanari wants to win Irie’s respect so he asked him to team with Pocchari World Order and challenge for the GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles! Irie admitted he likes pocchari women so he’s happy to team with “The Outsider” Yumehito Imanari and “Big Sexy” Yuna Manase! This now makes him “Hollywood” Shigehiro Irie of the pWo!

At last something from Ganpro has slowed down Ikuto Hidaka’s momentum. Kouki Iwasaki pulled off the hot tag from Keisuke Ishii and rid of Hidaka with the Capture Suplex. He then pinned Yasu Urano with the Vertical Drop Reverse DDT to win the match. He wasn’t convinced Hidaka was fighting at full effort though. The two agreed to have a singles match against each other at the 7th April Korakuen show. Iwasaki called Hidaka the finest prey to hunt.

If you’ve seen Onryo before then you will be familiar with the bag of tricks he used against Shota. The “ectoplasm “powder shaking off his body got in Shota’s way. Onryo also grabbed the referee’s hand to prevent a three count pin after Shota hit the Frog Splash. Shota later grabbed Onryo’s fist, thinking he was holding powder to throw at him. Onryo opened his hands to show nothing was in it, then shook the ectoplasm out of his hair again to blind Shota and pin him with the Onryo Clutch.

A mixed tag team tournament will be held on the 1st and 8th of May.

He understands the weight that comes with holding the title is and he is also one of the few DDT wrestlers speaking up against Jun Akiyama’s growing influence in the promotion. Higuchi decided to go back to his starting point, which is sumo. That is why he wrestled barefoot in his most recent match against Akiyama that ended in a double countout. Akiyama thinks this is the biggest flaw with DDT’s roster. These wrestlers don’t look outside their own company for ideas whereas he has done a lot of things in different promotions. That is how he was able to walk into DDT and become their coach and then their champion. He gave Higuchi an ultimatum over DDT’s training sessions. If Akiyama wins then Higuchi will have to say yes to every order that is given to him. But if Higuchi wins then Akiyama will not say a word to him from now on.

Team Thoroughbred are confident in their chances of winning the KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles. According to Sanshiro Takagi, the opposing team captain Shinya Aoki is scared of facing powerful opponents. When Team Thoroughbred become champions, Takagi wants to expand the group to include second generation stars from other sports and forms of entertainment. His ideal amount is to mentor seven 2nd generation celebrities so they can dominate pro wrestling as the Seven Lights Of Parentage!

Chris Brookes is currently in discussions with DDT over his first DDT Extreme Title defence. He wants to remove all restrictions and have title defences outside of the usual Korakuen Hall shows. The perfect choice for his first defence is at his third self-produced DDT show that is scheduled to take place in April. His preferred opponent? Mecha Mummy!

Chikara is following in the footsteps of his father Mitsuo Momota and his grandfather Rikidozan. Finally, Nabe Yakan’s father is a beloved comedian from the Showa era. Also Yakan earned Takagi’s respect after their soft gun war over the DDT Extreme Title back in January. Takagi has sworn to protect and nurture these people under the banner of Team Thoroughbred. It isn’t skill or talent that gets you success in pro wrestling. It’s nepotism!

DDT is putting together a big match to celebrate its 24th Anniversary. HARASHIMA versus Yukio Sakaguchi is a rematch from their D-Ou Grand Prix bout last December. That match had a lot of mat wrestling and ended with Sakaguchi choking HARASHIMA out.

Daisuke Sasaki’s idea to make Konosuke Takeshita join DAMNATION is approaching a crossroad. Takeshita unexpectedly cooperated with him during yesterday’s 4 Way Tag Match so it looks like Takeshita can leave their past behind and get along with him. However, The 37KAMIINA are now getting going as a full time unit. Why would Takeshita leave the sauna life behind? For now at least they remain opponents on two very different sides.

It’s going in some unexpected directions though. Cherry is facing Shuichiro Katsumura in an intergender Jacket Match. The stipulation is going to be an annual event for Ganjo shows. The full rules of that match will be revealed soon.

There will also be an invasion from Gake no Fuchi Joshi because Miyako Matsumoto and Chris Brookes are being booked to appear. Also advertised are Yuna Manase, Moeka Haruhi, Asuka, HARUKAZE and Drew Parker.

It’s been a popular prediction that CyberFight was eventually going to put together a supershow featuring all of their wrestling companies working together. Today it is now a reality. DDT, NOAH, Tokyo Joshi Pro & Ganbare☆Pro will all be in the Super Saitama Arena this June for the first “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL”. The plan is the show to headline with three major championship matches. The KO-D Openweight Title from DDT, GHC Heavyweight Title from NOAH and Princess Of Princess Title from TJPW will all be defended on the show. There will also be interpromotional matches between some of the groups but who gets matched with what remains to be seen. Pom Harajuku Vs Katsuhiko Nakajima in a battle of the kickers, anyone?

Sanshiro Takagi said that ever since CyberFight was established he wondered if he could put together a rock festival style of show that can convey the charm of pro wrestling and energize the audience. They will take sufficient measures to make sure everyone is protected from the Coronavirus when the event takes place. Naomichi Marufuji said everyone from NOAH has become more motivated coming out of their recent Budokan Hall show. Since the Olympic Games are at risk, he hopes that people around the world will get to have fun by watching this event. Akito sees the value of cross-promoting between the fanbases. He thinks new audiences will get to see the gorgeousness of TJPW and the sincerity of Ganpro. The comparison to music festivals reminds Tetsuya Koda of the times when Morning Musume performed at the ROCK IN JAPAN festivals. Ken Ohka says Ganpro is working very hard at becoming a major pro wrestling company. They’re not going to be piggy backing their way onto this show. Whatever spot they have will be earned.

No rope breaks are allowed and weapons are permitted except those considered by the referee to be particularly dangerous.

*DREAMS HARU TRUE fails in V1. Asuka, Hagane Shinno & Shinichiro Tominaga becomes the 25th GWC 6-Man Tag Team Champions!

Oh well, easy come easy go. DREAMS HARU TRUE looked to be a well oiled machine by giving Shinichiro Tominaga a Triple Power Bomb. But HARUKAZE’s attempt to seal the deal fell apart when Tominaga blocked her Flame Spear, then Asuka caught her with a Super Kick and Hagane Shinno took her down with a Lariat. HARUKAZE had one chance left when she rolled away from Tominaga’s Moonsault and went for the Cross Armbreaker. But Tominaga powered out of it an applied the Just Facelock. HARUKAZE desperately tried to reach the ropes but had no choice but to tap out and lose her first championship without a single successful defence. Tominaga made it clear after the show that he does not want to defend the GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles in March so the team will go into Korakuen Hall on 7th April as the guaranteed reigning champions.

Keisuke Ishii said HARUKAZE did her best but it was time for DREAMS HARU TRUE to split up. HARUKAZE was upset but asked if Ishii and Kouki Iwasaki would reform the group in the future if she became stronger. They both nodded. Iwasaki then said he wants a rematch with Ikuto Hidaka so he can avenge his defeat to him. Ken Ohka approved and told the trio that today’s breakup is not a backwards step for any of them, but a positive move forward.

Iwasaki’s challenge to Hidaka came because Hidaka believes he has ran out of opponents in Ganbare☆Pro. Hidaka overcame a spirited fight from Yumehito Imanari but the result was no different to the previous matches in the “STOP THE Hidaka” campaign.

Ohka finally got what he wanted, a win over The Aka Rangers. Having Shuichiro Katsumura on his team was a difference maker. He kept Takashi Sasaki held back while Ohka was able to get the better of GENTARO. Ohka celebrated the victory by challenging Sasaki to a singles match at the April Korakuen show! Not only that but he wants it to be a Fluorescent Lighttube Death Match! As Ohka’s senpai, Sasaki won’t run or hide away from the challenge. He’ll crush Ohka at Korakuen!
