1. Hi69 defeated Tomoya Kawamura with the Just Facelock (10:35).
2. Wrestling Laughs Festival: Daichi Kazato defeated Gouma Ryu with an Argentine Backbreaker (13:36).
3. Hardcore Match: Isami Kodaka Vs GUNSO ended in a Double Knock Out (17:35).
4. Osaka Metal Festival: FUMA & HAYATA defeated Yusuke Kubo & Madoka when FUMA pinned Kubo with the Heavy Metal Anthem (15:23).
5. Special 6-Man Tag Team Match: Koji Kanemoto, Ryuichi Sekine & Ryota Nakatsu defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Takumi Tsukamoto & SAGAT when Sekine submitted SAGAT with the Let’s Combine (16:38).

Koji Kanemoto got into the spirit of things by joining in with Cavalry’s “horse riding” entrance. He was even introduced as the Supreme Commander of Cavalry. When the main event was over Ryuichi Sekine told Kanemoto that BASARA will return to Osaka on 8th January next year and asked that he make that date a priority. Kanemoto replied that today was just a practice for the Januray show.

The battle of IRON PRIEST finished with no bad blood between anyone. The four of them all gave each other heavy metal hand signs instead of handshakes.

An Avalanche Brainbuster from a ladder led to both Isami Kodaka and GUNSO failing to get back to their feet before the ten count, resulting in a Double KO Draw. Kodaka said it was impossible for them to go into overtime. He and GUNSO were then able to bond over Shonen Jump talk.

The IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT 1st Round was the focus of this show. Team BASARA defeated Team ZERO1 in the main event. Isami Kodaka wanted to give Ikuto Hidaka & Sean Guinness a chance to soak in the applause after a really fun match. The hosts of the tournament IRON PRIEST won their match against the Sportiva Combination. FUMA thinks he and Yusuke Kubo will effortlessly win the tournament. Hiroshi du Soleil went through over Daichi Kazato & Tomoya Kawamura. The result continues SAGAT’s recovery from his current slump. Finally Cavalry defeated Gouma Ryu & Masamune when an Masamune swung Gouma’s lawbook at Ryuichi Sekine but hit Gouma instead.

The semi-final matches on 29th October are Hiroshi du Soleil Vs IRON PRIEST and Cavalry Vs Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto. The final takes place on the same show. The four teams met in the ring at the end of the show to talk about who will win. 1. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 1A: Daichi Kazato & Tomoya Kawamura Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT
2. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 1B: Koji Iwamoto & Fuminori Abe Vs FUMA & Yusuke Kubo
3. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 1C: Ryuichi Sekine & Ryota Nakatsu Vs Gouma Ryu & Masamune
4. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 1D: Shinjiro Otani & Sean Guinness Vs Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto

Another month another tournament for BASARA. This time FUMA came up with an idea to do a tag team league to prove IRON PRIEST’s dominance. But in order to fit in the schedule the tournament will be a playoff instead. It is called the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT in tribute to the Motorhead song and FUMA keeps calling it a Rock Festival instead of a Tag Tournament. Joining the tournament are teams representing BASARA’s units, Sportiva Entertainment and ZERO1. FUMA decided only he and Yusuke Kubo will be there flying the IRON PRIEST flag. He thinks they won’t need Madoka to help them. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT are back together. Hiroshi is confident in his own abilities but worries the burden is too much for SAGAT to bear. Surprisingly Gouma Ryu was able to convince Masamune to team with him. Apparently Masamune would have teamed with Isami Kodaka but Kodaka picked Takumi Tsukamoto instead.

The ZERO1 team are Shinjiro Otani and Irish wrestler Sean Guinness. Ryu believes some sort of illegal activity has led to team entering the tournament and if his team ends up fighting them in the semi final he will bring them to court to get any sort of advantage over them.

2. Tomoya Kawamura Belongs To BASARA 1st Leg: Isami Kodaka defeated Tomoya Kawamura with the Zeyyari (11:51).
3. Hardcore Match: Takumi Tsukamoto defeated SAGAT with the Dumping Tiger Suplex (14:07).
4. Trans-Am ★ Trans-Am: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi defeated Atsushi Maruyama & Hi69 when Hiroshi pinned Maruyama with the Perfect Plex (16:16).
5. Cavalry Vs IRON PRIEST The Entire Conflict 8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match: FUMA, Madoka, Yusuke Kubo & Jaki Numazawa defeated Ryuichi Sekine, Ryota Nakatsu, Koji Iwamoto & Masashi Takeda (27:08).
5a. Madoka eliminated Koji Iwamoto by Ring Out (12:13).
5b. Masashi Takeda eliminated Jaki Numazawa by Ring Out (15:45).
5c. Masashi Takeda and Yusuke Kubo were both eliminated by Ring Out (18:11).
5d. Ryuichi Sekine eliminated Madoka by Ring Out (21:40).
5e. FUMA eliminated Ryuichi Sekine by Ring Out (24:40).
5f. FUMA eliminated Ryota Nakatsu with the Heavy Metal Anthem (27:08).

IRON PRIEST stole Cavalry’s stick horses at the last BASARA show and brought them out before the main event to taunt their opponents. However Cavalry got one up on them with a surprise ambush to start the elimination match. IRON PRIEST scored the first elimination when Madoka pulled Koji Iwamoto over the ropes and knocking him off the apron. Jaki Numazawa tried to get rid of Masashi Takeda next but a reversal of fortunes led to Numazawa getting knocked out of the ring. Takeda then eliminated both Yusuke Kubo and himself with a Spear on the apron. Cavalry took the lead when FUMA accidentally hit Madoka with a High Kick, leading to his elimination. But a mistaken clash of partners happened to Cavalry too afterwards. Ryota Nakatsu hit Ryuichi Sekine and FUMA capitalized. That left FUMA and Sekine as the final two and FUMA got the only pinfall of the match to win it for IRON PRIEST. FUMA said IRON PRIEST has been the best unit in BASARA’s eight months of existence. To prove this he wants to hold a tag team tournament called the Iron Fist Tag League. However he said this while still wearing his mask so most of the audience just heard muffled yelling. FUMA also wants “Iron Fist” by Motorhead to be the league’s official theme song. Isami Kodaka suggested it should be a playoff instead of a league because they have no time to do another round robin tournament this year.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi brought in a new tag partner from America, Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi. However Atsushi Maruyama was convinced it was really Big Japan wrestler Ryuichi Kawakami pretending to be American. Ryuichi denied the accusation and got the fans to chant “Let’s go Trans-Am!” as he wrestled. Hi69 stopped Hiroshi from doing the Perfect Plex by hitting him with a chair. He and Maruyama then put their opponents in Sleeper Holds until “USA” chants woke them up. Team Trans-Am turned the tables and Hiroshi finally hit the Perfect Plex on Maruyama for the win.

The alliance between Takumi Tsukamoto and SAGAT is getting a little strained. Tsukamoto beat him in a Hardcore Match but offered to shake hands afterwards. SAGAT ignored it and headed directly to the exit.

Tomoya Kawamura had his first match in BASARA a day after his final match in DNA. The Rainbow Kawamura gimmick is now gone, Kawamura has reverted back to his previous self from before the injury. However he still put disinfectant on his hands before the match. Kawamura came close to winning with a Michinoku Driver II and Swanton Bomb but Kodaka fired back with the Zeyyari for the victory. Kodaka said his opponent was unexpectedly strong after watching video of his match from yesterday. He then welcomed Kawamura to BASARA.

The brackets for the 2nd Shinjuku Strongest Ground Budokai were revealed at the beginning of the show. The tournament takes place at Kodaka’s self-produced show on 28th September. The four first round matches are Shiori Asahi Vs Tatsuhiko Yoshino, FUMA Vs Kengo Mashimo, Yasu Urano Vs Daisuke Sekimoto and Isami Kodaka Vs Brahman Kei (w/ Brahman Shu). Manami Toyota and a mystery wrestler were given byes into the second round.

4. HEAVY METAL vs BEST STRETCH: FUMA & Jaki Numazawa defeated Daichi Kazato & Tsutomu Oosugi when FUMA pinned Kazato with the Heavy Metal Anthem (13:05).
5. Triangle Basara: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Takumi Tsukamoto and SAGAT when Hiroshi pinned SAGAT with the Perfect Plex (10:49).

Although Takumi Tsukamoto and SAGAT are a tag team in BASARA, it was every man for himself in the 3 Way Match with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi. Well, kind of. As the match progressed Tsukamoto and Hiroshi started fighting each other over who gets to have SAGAT. Hiroshi said SAGAT is his pet but Tsukamoto responded that SAGAT is his buddy. SAGAT escaped the Perfect Plex but his momentum was stopped with a Spinebuster. That allowed Hiroshi to do the Perfect Plex again and pick up the win. After a bit of bickering after the match, Tsukamoto shook hands with both Hiroshi and SAGAT.

Jaki Numazawa is blending in well with his new IRON PRIEST pal. He wrestled in a similar heavy metal costume as FUMA for their match. Daichi Kazato tried to block out the heavy metal stuff by singing his own song about the Best Stretch gym he works for. He was able to Clothesline Numazawa out of the ring but FUMA gave him an Extreme Twist Of Fate. FUMA then pinned Kazato with the Heavy Metal Anthem. He is pleased to have “NUMA-METAL” as his new support act as IRON PRIEST prepares to battle with Cavalry next month.

After Match #3, Tomoya Kawamura made an unexpected appearance wearing a suit. The former Rainbow Kawamura wanted to speak to Isami Kodaka. MC.33 who had just wrestled disappeared and Kodaka just so happened to appear in his place. Kawamura talked to him about being in Union Pro together but an injury robbed him the chance of wrestling there for the company’s final months. When he came back he became Rainbow Kawamura so he could have some fun but now it was time for his old self to come back. Kawamura announced he will quit DNA and now wants to wrestle in BASARA! Kodaka accepted him into BASARA and booked a match between the two of them on 8th September.

*V1 for Abdullah Kobayashi, Masaya Takahashi & Takayuki Ueki.

The chairman of the Yokohama Shopping Street Federation that sponsors the Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Titles was pleased with the main event. He described it as pure pro wrestling at its very best, which is very good. FUMA said Abdullah Kobayashi’s bald head reminds him of Rob Halford from Judas Priest and Piet Sielck from Iron Savior. Kobayashi didn’t know who they were and asked if they are Japanese. FUMA then apologised to the fans for IRON PRIEST’s failure to win the titles. He said IRON PRIEST will impregnate the pro wrestling world with heavy metal. “Thorns and chains to the soft heart! KEEP ON ROCKIN’ Heavy Metal Anthem! We are IRON PRIEST!”

SAGAT was focused on beating Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi in the Hardcore Tag Match but it was not meant to be. Hiroshi stopped the Goregrind with a Spinebuster onto a Ladder. The Perfect Plex afterwards was the end for SAGAT. Hiroshi rubbed in his victory by saying how fun it is to wrestle in a variety of matches. He then challenged SAGAT to a singles match on 30th August. However Takumi Tsukamoto stepped in and demanded to be in the match too. It was decided that a 3 Way Match will take place instead.

6. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Ryuichi Sekine with the Perfect Plex (15:12).

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s claim of being the best wrestler, “foriegn” or otherwise in BASARA stays intact with a win over Ryuichi Sekine. Hiroshi mentioned this was his fifth singles match with Sekine and his first victory against him.

Kengo Mashimo had to be held back from Isami Kodaka after their tag match. Mashimo yelled that it wasn’t over between them two. Kodaka said he was holding the 2nd ever Shinjuku Strongest Ground Budokai tournament on 28th September and he wants Mashimo to enter. Mashimo considered but when he found out Daisuke Sekimoto and Yasu Urano were also entering he accepted the invitation.

The feud between Tsukasaga Army and the Kotetsu Gundan came to a conclusion with two different hardcore matches. Kotetsu Gundan came out on top of both bouts to definitively win the feud. In the Chain Match Yusuke Kubo choked out SAGAT with the chain, forcing the referee to call for the bell. Although the unit feud is over, the rivalry between these two may return in the future. FUMA then defeated Takumi Tsukamoto in a TLC Match. Tsukamoto admitted defeat and called FUMA a strong wrestler even if his heavy metal antics get in the way. FUMA then began to ramble on about instrumental songs and how they emit a melody of sorrow without the need for words. He offered a truce to Tsukamoto. Together they can be comrades united by hearts made out of the same steel. Tsukamoto called himself the Ballad Fighter and gave the heavy metal hand sign. Backstage, Tsukamoto and Kubo announced the official name of their unit. Gone is Kotetsu Gundan, now they are IRON PRIEST!
