1. Toi Kojima Vs Yuya Koroku ended in a Time Limit Draw (15:00).
2. Soma Takao & Kazuki Hirata defeated Toru Owashi & Antonio Honda when Takao pinned Honda with the Mad Splash (7:32).
3. Special Tag Match: Kaji Tomato & Naomi Yoshimura defeated Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata when Yoshimura pinned Katsumata with the Harai Goshi (10:03).
4. HARASHIMA & Masahiro Takanashi defeated MAO & Yusuke Okada when HARASHIMA pinned Okada with the Somato (11:33).
5. Special Single Match: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Hiroshi Yamato with La Mistica Crossface Lock (11:47).
6. Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Kazusada Higuchi defeated Yukio Sakaguchi, Hideki Okatani & Yuki Ishida when Higuchi pinned Ishida with the Brain Claw Slam (20:23).
7. ONLY WE x DDT Special 6-Man Tag Match – No DQ Match: Yuji Hino, Yukio Naya & Quiet Storm defeated Shogun Okamoto, Kenichiro Arai & Hoshitango when Hino pinned Hoshitango with the Muscle Spash onto the Chair (15:10).

Even though ONLY WE won their latest battle against PERON GRANDES, they are probably happier they don’t have to wrestle a No DQ Match anymore. Quiet Storm bragged about Yuji Hino winning the match by piling chairs on top of Hoshitango and then Muscle Splashing onto them. What can PERON GRANDES possibly do next time to beat that? Hino however was in a lot of pain and asked for the next match to just be held under normal rules. Akira Raijin was not at the show after he tested positive for covid. Kenichiro Arai took his place in the main event.

Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Kazusada Higuchi all made it clear they are on the same page together. If Higuchi can wrestle with them against his own teammates in Eruption then they are ready to show NOAH they mean business.

After their match, Daisuke Sasaki told Hiroshi Yamato to call him a taxi so he can go home to Niigata. He wants Kenoh to now he’ll be there and doesn’t want to get ambushed. Instead Sasaki’s going to ambush him again!

The newly freelance Kaji Tomato complained about Shunma Katsumata being too noisy during their tag match. Tomato admits he is noisy too but his noise is made out of high tension while Katsumata just sounds stupid. Perhaps they can have a singles match pitting “High Tension” against “NeppoWER!!” someday.

This was the last DDT show before “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022” so a lot of the wrestlers used the time to make their final preparations for the show. Everyone is ready to do their best no matter where on the card they are placed.

2. Ganbare☆Climax 2021 – Round 2: Tatsuhito Takaiwa defeated Mizuki Watase with a Lariat (9:38).
3. Ganjo Special Tag Match: Moeka Haruhi & HARUKAZE defeated Yuna Manase & YuuRI when HARUKAZE pinned YuuRI with the Flame Spear (12:29).
4. Ganpro Special Single Match: Kenichiro Arai defeated Tyson Maeguchi with a DDT (9:39).
5. Ganpro Special Tag Match: Shota & Soma Takao defeated Keisuke Ishii & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Takao pinned Shimatani with a Mad Splash (13:47).
6. Ganbare☆Climax 2021 – Round 2: Shuichiro Katsumura defeated Kouki Iwasaki by TKO with the Ninja Choke (18:51).
7. Ganbare☆Climax 2021 – Round 2: Yumehito Imanari defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with an Elbow Butt (19:06).

Round 2 of the Ganbare☆Climax has concluded and there are now four wrestlers left. The main event was an emotional meeting between Yumehito Imanari and Shinichiro Tominaga. It all came down to an Elbow Butt from Imanari to put Tominaga away. Imanari wants to be a pro wrestler who uses his words as a weapon. But he also wants to convey his message with his right elbow, like he did today.

Shuichiro Katsumura went through a tough battle with Kouki Iwasaki to reach the semi-final. Iwasaki got caught in the Ninja Choke and lost consciousness leading to his defeat. Katsumura was amazed at how strong his opponent was and he is not sure he could beat today’s version of his again if they had a rematch.

The other two semi-finalists are outsiders to Ganbare☆Pro. From the get-go Tatsuhito Takaiwa meant business. He gave Mizuki Watase the Takaiwa Driller very quickly into the match. Watase fought back but the match was over when the Death Valley Bomb was pulled out. Takaiwa’s Lariat afterward was just a formality at that point.

Tetsuhiro Kuroda hit Ken Ohka with eight Lariats in a row yet Ohka was determined to stay standing. Kuroda had to charge up and hit one more to finally beat his admirer. Kuroda kind of remembers teaming with Ohka in a 6-Man Tag once before and found out how much he wanted to win today.

The Ganbare☆Climax semi-finals on 23rd November are Tetsuhiro Kuroda Vs Yumehito Imanari and Shuichiro Katsumura Vs Tatsuhito Takaiwa. Kuroda fought Imanari before and doesn’t want to take him lightly. Imanari says he owes a lot to Kuroda and will repay him the most. Katsumura thinks the value of the Spirit Of Ganbare Title will go up if he beats Takaiwa and Kuroda to become the first champion.

Shota & Soma Takao enjoyed teaming together and both want to do it again in the future. They crossed paths a couple of times in their careers so to finally team together after so long is kind of romantic in their eyes. Shota says they will continue to work as a tag team in pursuit of romance.

The former kickboxer Tyson Maeguchi was given another hard lesson in wrestling, this time against Kenichiro Arai with Shinjiro Otani watching at ringside. Maeguchi is frustrated by his lack of time practicing his wrestling skills so all he can do is learn in the ring little by little. Arai got annoyed with Otani for being in Maeguchi’s corner because he had nobody in his own. He also seems mad he wasn’t invited to compete in the Ganbare☆Climax.

1. Saki Akai & Rina Yamashita defeated Yuna Mizumori & Mei Suruga when Yamashita pinned Mizumori with the Implant Bomb (17:19).
-. Bonus Track – Special Single Match: Ken Ohka Vs DJ Nira ended in a No Contest when Gota Ihashi and the UMA Corps interfered (12:54).
2. Kazusada Higuchi, ken45° & Manjimaru defeated Isami Kodaka, Daiki Shimomura & Yasu Urano when Higuchi pinned Urano with the Brain Claw Slam (16:40).
3. Kenichiro Arai defeated Baliyan Akki with a Crushed Swan Dive Rotating Cradle (13:54).
4. Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei (w/ Gorgeous Matsuno) defeated Masahiro Takanashi & Chris Brookes when Kei pinned Takanashi with a Suitcase Attack (15:05).

After so many cancellations and postponements due to the pandemic, Masahiro Takanashi got to hold his comeback show at last! It took so long that Takanashi has already returned from injury and wrestled a bunch of matches before today. But that didn’t dampen the occasion one bit. Takanashi reunited his CDK team with Chris Brookes to take on The Brahman Brothers with Gorgeous Matsuno in tow. The Brahmans wrestled in pandemic masks the entire time and made Takanashi suffer with their brand of torture until Brookes made the save. Then the match fell apart when one by one the wrestlers from earlier in the show interfered and caused chaos. CDK managed to clear the ring eventually but The Brahmins threw a suitcase at Takanashi, knocking him out long enough to get pinned.

After the match The Brahmans told everyone it is a difficult experience wrestling in pandemic masks for 15 minutes. They also couldn’t believe the bad luck surrounding this show. It got delayed by the pandemic a bunch of times and now when it finally takes place, a typhoon happens preventing some of the fans from travelling to see the show! Matsuno corrected them by saying he was able to safely travel all the way from Fukushima during the typhoon. After they left, Takanashi apologized to Brookes for losing the match. The result may be disappointing but today his dream of getting to team with Brookes again came true. Brookes cheered him up and said he has a new dream for them. A match between CDK and Shuten-dōji! Takanashi invited Yukio Sakaguchi and KUDO into the ring to tell them they should do that match some day. Takanashi ended the show by saying some of his goals and dreams are the same but they can change and become something new. He also wants to do another self-produced show.

Baliyan Akki was here to wrestle a clean match but Kenichiro Arai had laid some tricks to tip things in his favour. Midway through the match Arai escaped the ring, made Akki chase him around ringside and back into the ring so he could roll him up for a nearfall. Arai then offered a handshake to distract Akki so he could kick him below the belt. Akki tried to win with a Swan Dive Sunset Flip but Arai sat down on the move and held onto the ropes to pin him without the referee seeing him cheat. Akai went for one more cheapshot after the match but Akki countered it with a Dropkick and demanded a rematch.

Kazusada Higuchi and Sakaguchi both showed up wearing matching gear to ken45° & Manjimaru. Higuchi withstood the teamwork of Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura to isolate Yasu Urano. He finished him off with a twisting Brain Claw Slam to win. After the match Kodaka and Sakaguchi had a staredown but it ended with a fist bump.

The joshi tag began with Rina Yamashita and Yuna Mizumori having a sumo bout together. When they were done, Saki Akai then asked Mei Suruga for a test of strength but held her hand up too high for Suruga to reach. That led to Suruga piggybacking on Mizumori while Yamashita made Akai sit on her shoulders to do the test. It ended with Yamashita Double Clotheslining the other team with Akai still on her shoulders. Akai and Suruga continued to get on each others nerves but the match came down to the other two. Mizumori charged in and Yamashita caught her with the Implant Bomb to win.

The dark match was a preview of things to come throughout the show. The UMA Corps promised to commit chaos using a saber that was inherited from Tiger Jeet Singh himself. It was up to Gota Ihashi & Antonio Honda to stop them but they weren’t reliable at all. Sayaka Obihiro & KUDO had to get involved and guide their team to victory. That wasn’t the end though. When the match was over Haru Miyako instructed her monsters to wrap a bull rope around Ihashi’s neck and drag him off. Honda stuck around to give the opening show speech with “Kotori”, the Gatoh Move wrestler who retired back in 2017.

Later in the show the fans were treated to a bonus match between Ken Ohka and DJ Nira. That match never finished because The UMA Corps returned to cause more havoc. Ihashi ran back out to even the odds and the fighting continued until the room went dark. When the lights came back on, Daisuke Kiso was left alone in the ring wearing a diaper. He crawled around the ring while the ring was getting disinfected.

5. Ganpro Special Single Match: Keisuke Ishii defeated Shigehiro Irie with the Kneel Kick (18:16).
6. Ken Ohka 20th Anniversary Special Tag Match ~Roar Of The Lion King~: HARASHIMA & Kengo Mashimo defeated Ken Ohka & Isami Kodaka when HARASHIMA pinned Ohka with the Somato (18:23).

Twenty years in the business for Ken Ohka has made him a lot of friends and acquaintances. To celebrate he teamed with the wrestler who was once labelled as his replacement in Union Pro. Back then Kengo Mashimo was marketed as Kengo Ohka on Union shows. Their opponents were HARASHIMA, who teamed with Ohka for his most famous match, and Isami Kodaka who Ohka grew up with in their Union days. Kodaka and Mashimo also hold a grudge with each other to add some spiciness to the match. Ohka got to shine by Double German Suplexing HARASHIMA and Kodaka. He then exchanged elbows with HARASHIMA and HARASHIMA took the time to congratulate him on the anniversary inbetween the strikes. Ohka got the upper hand and pulled out a Dragon Suplex out of nowhere. But when he charged in for the Fire Spear, HARASHIMA blocked it with the Somato and then hit a second one to win the match.

After the match HARASHIMA said he was smiling from start to finish. Kodaka and Mashimo gave each other the middle finger until Ohka talked to them. Ohka said Mashimo is like his fourth son or his half-brother because he used to be Kengo Ohka. Kodaka admitted to Ohka that he overslept today and only arrived at the venue at 1pm. The show started at 11:30am. Ohka thanked all of them for coming to Ganbare☆Pro today. To him it doesn’t matter what company they work for, they can be double or triple affiliated with Ganpro for as long as they are pro wrestlers! The show ended with Ohka celebrating with the Ganpro roster in the ring. Shota tried to sneak roll up HARASHIMA for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title during this but failed to pull it off.

The Keisuke Ishii Vs Shigehiro Irie match turned out to be a full Team Dream Futures reunion when Soma Takao was spotted in the audience at the start of the bout. Irie also had Mizuki Watase in his corner to provide some RENEGADES presence. Ishii kicked out of the Beast Bomber and hit Irie with the Kneel Kick to the back of the head. Ishii then hit the Double Arm DDT before doing one more Kneel Kick to win. The two shook hands afterwards while Takao left the room. This is the first time Ishii has beaten Irie one on one in ten years! He put his victory down to honing the Kneel Kick for 13 years.

To ensure that the IJ Tag Team Titles match was fought under PWF Rules, Ayana Shimada from Tenryu Project was at ringside to oversee the match. Both champions and challengers aren’t familiar with the rules only found out about the differences while they wrestled. Things like rope breaks not being strict and 10 counts outside the ring threw the wrestlers off but they adapted in the end. At one point Kenichiro Arai used the ropes to add leverage to Shota pinning Shinichiro Tominaga but Hagane Shinno broke it up by diving onto Arai on the ring apron. Shota ended up stealing the win anyway by rolling Tominaga up with a Casadora.

Yumehito Imanari was excited to find out Shuichi Nishinaga from NOAH was the referee for his match. He & Kouki Iwasaki worked over on Tatsuhito Takaiwa but MAO was there to help his tag partner. Takaiwa took control and pinned Imanari with the Death Valley Bomb. He noticed that Ganpro has changed a lot since the last time he wrestled for them. MAO said it was a fresh feeling wrestling in Ganpro for the first time. He also got some tips from Takaiwa on how to improve the Michinoku Driver.

The current state of Ganbare☆Joshi shows HARUKAZE is making the kind of progress she’s been looking for while the newcomer YuuRI is struggling to find a win. HARUKAZE had a confrontation with Yuna Manase after the match but found herself being praised by Asuka & Makoto. Backstage Manase & Yuna Mizumori consoled YuuRI and don’t blame her for their team losing today. Over on the other side Asuka said she wasn’t satisfied with the match because she thinks GanJo is too weak for her. However she tells HARUKAZE to continue doing her best there.

Today was the last match of Shu Sakurai’s wrestling career, at least for now. He and the rest of THE HALFEE performed “Starry Sky Distance” for their entrance before wrestling Rocky Kawamura 2, Nobuhiro Shimatani & Itsuki Aoki. Sadly for Sakurai his last match ended in defeat with Shimatani making him tap out. Sakurai wants to remind everyone this isn’t a retirement and he will come back some day. His decision to leave is for positive reasons and he hopes to learn and grow as a person while he is away. Shuichiro Katsumura & Moeka Haruhi suggested they all reunite in 47 years because THE ALFEE (the band they parody) are celebrating their 47th anniversary this year.

Some important announcements related to the Ganbare☆Climax were given during the show. First, the tournament is being sponsored by LEC. And second, the winner of the Ganbare☆Climax will be crowned the first Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Champion! The president of LEC Takaki Nagamori showed off the new championship belt and talked about LEC sponsoring various pro wrestling events from the G1 Climax to the Ganbare☆Climax.

The wrestlers entering the Ganbare☆Climax 2021 are Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari, Keisuke Ishii, Shuichiro Katsumura, Shota, Shinichiro Tominaga, Kouki Iwasaki, Baliyan Akki, Nobuhiro Shimatani, Mizuki Watase, Seiya Morohashi, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, Tatsuhito Takaiwa and kickboxer Tyson Maeguchi. The tournament begins on 24th October and the final to crown the champion will take place on 23rd November.

Endo Visits Kobashi, 121000000 Still Alive, Ganpro’s Big Matches

August 31, 2021

Earlier this week Tetsuya Endo visited Kenta Kobashi at his gym to talk about his successful KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles defence at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021”. Kobashi praised Endo for getting bigger. He noticed Endo’s movements haven’t changed and his posture in the air is good so his weight gain isn’t negatively effecting his performance. Endo was advised to target 95-100kg for his ideal weight. However Kobashi also said that Endo didn’t stand out much during the match. Instead the focus was entirely on Yuji Hino and Saki Akai.

Kobashi moved on to talking about Endo’s rivalries with Konosuke Takeshita and Jun Akiyama. He thinks Takeshita defeating Akiyama while Endo couldn’t is the kind of frustration Endo needs in order to become stronger. That along with the support of his fans is what can make Endo the champion again. Endo then showed Kobashi a video of a brand new finishing move he is working on, one nobody else has seen yet. Kobashi approves of it and recommends Endo to work on his arm strength because it is the key to make this mystery move work. He also told him to give it a good name so it will become the move that represents Endo. After an hour long talk, Endo worked out in the gym with Kobashi coaching him.

5. Ken Ohka Pre-Debut 20th Anniversary Special Tag Match Part 2: Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari Vs Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie

Look at Shinjiro Otani. He is spoiled for choice when it comes to matches against the Ganbare☆Pro roster. They all want a piece of him and he wants them too. Otani asked for a match against Kouki Iwasaki because Iwasaki’s mentor is Kenichi Yamamoto. In 1995 Yamamoto defeated Otani at a UWFi event. 26 years later Otani gets a chance to get some measure of revenge by fighting his student.

Shu Sakurai will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from Ganpro after 25th September. He explains this decision is being made for positive reasons and he will be using his experience from wrestling to take on new challenges. This is not a retirement from pro wrestling so he may return some day having grown as a pro wrestler and also as a person. Before he leaves, Sakurai wants to wrestle Shuichiro Katsumura so he gets to have that match.

Otani’s other big singles match this month is a first time one on one meeting with Keisuke Ishii. His appearance in Ganpro has given Ishii new motivation after he went through a slump from losing the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title. Ishii made the challenge and Otani has been impressed enough with his work to accept it.

Tenryu Project has approved of Hagane Shinno & Shinichiro Tominaga’s challenge for the IJ Tag Team Titles. They gave Kenichiro Arai & Shota permission to defend the belts after the champions accepted the challenge.

It was Otani’s idea to get Tatsuhito Takaiwa booked on the show. I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been noticing this Ganpro/ZERO1 relationship for a while and I wonder if it will lead to anything more permanent down the road.

Sakurai ends his wrestling career with the rest of THE HALFEE.

2. Ganjo Special Tag Match: Yuna Manase & Asuka defeated Moeka Haruhi & HARUKAZE when Asuka pinned HARUKAZE with the Liger Bomb (8:28).
3. Special Tag Match That Leaves No Stone Unturned: Hagane Shinno & Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Yasu Urano & Shota when Tominaga pinned Shota with the JK (12:28).
4. Ken Ohka Pre-Debut 20th Anniversary Special Tag Match: Ken Ohka & Seiya Morohashi defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & Shu Sakurai when Ohka pinned Sakurai with the Flame Spear (14:09).
5. Ganpro Special 6-Man Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii, Kouki Iwasaki & Rekka defeated Shinjiro Otani, Yumehito Imanari & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Ishii pinned Shimatani with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (22:29).

Ever since Keisuke Ishii lost the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title he felt like he had taken a step backwards in Ganbare☆Pro. But he has gotten out of his sad state and regained motivation once Shinjiro Otani started wrestling here. After winning today’s main event, Ishii asked Otani for a singles match at the 25th September Korakuen Hall show! Otani has been impressed by Ishii’s matches and can’t refuse a challenge from him so he accepted. However Otani also had a few requests of his own. First, he wants a singles match against Kouki Iwasaki somewhere down the road. He found out Iwasaki is a disciple of Kenichi Yamamoto, an old rival of his. He wants to wrestle Iwasaki for that reason. And second, he invited Tatsuhito Takaiwa to participate on the Korakuen show because he has the date free in his schedule. He hopes Ganpro will put him in a suitable match.

The first match in Ken Ohka’s 20th Anniversary celebration went a bit off the rails. Seiya Morohashi ignored the big team entrance and went straight to fighting Shuichiro Katsumura & Shu Sakurai. A Waterwheel Drop from Sakurai almost pinned Ohka but he kicked out. Sakurai was then hit with two Spears, one from Morohashi and then the Flame Spear from Ohka to end the match. Ohka and Katsumura almost came to blows afterwards but Sakurai stopped them and gave an important announcement. For private reasons he will have his final pro wrestling match on 25th September. He explains this is a positive decision and to treat this more like a vacation away from wrestling rather than a retirement. He now only has one month left to wrestle but he will do his best for the remainder of it. Ohka supports Sakurai’s decision and told him to come back when he is able to. Sakurai said backstage that he wants his remaining matches to be with THE HALFEE and Katsumura in particular. He noticed Katsumura left the ring during his announcement.

Both Hagane Shinno & Shinichiro Tominaga are currently in the hunt to win championships. That’s why today was a big match for them because Shota currently holds one half of the IJ Tag Team Titles that were revived by Tenryu Project earlier this year. Tominaga pinned Shota in today’s match and challenged him to put the titles on the line against them at Korakuen Hall. Shota blamed the defeat on Yasu Urano and said he would not have lost today if the other champion Kenichiro Arai was teaming with him. Shota accepted the challenge but warned that Tenryu Project needs to authorize the title match first before it can take place.

2. Special Tag Match: Ultimate Spider Jr. & Itsuki Aoki defeated Miss Mongol & Mizuki Watase when Spider pinned Watase with an Inverted Hurricanrana (9:54).
3. Ganpro Special Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & Yumehito Imanari when Ishii pinned Imanari with the Double Arm Extreme Driver (13:53).
4. Special Single Match: Chris Brookes defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with the Praying Mantis Bomb (14:02).
5. Scramble Bunkhouse Street Fight 6-Man Tag Death Match: The Great Nita, Ken Ohka & Hiroaki Moriya defeated Kenichiro Arai, Guts Ishijima & Shota when Ohka pinned Shota with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster (17:05).

The return of The Great Nita saw him attack Shota with a sickle, blind him with the Poison Mist and put him through a table with a Piledriver. He also attacked Guts Ishijima with the remains of the table. Ken Ohka got rid of Kenichiro Arai with the Fire Spear while Hiroaki Moriya took out Ishijima with a Lariat. The finish came when Ohka pinned Shota with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster.

But that wasn’t the end. Nita attacked Yukio Naya at ringside after the match and left him in a bloody mess with his sickle. Nita then wandered away and banged the sickle against the ring post. Ohka promoted the next Bakuha Koshien show on 28th March. He mentioned Atsushi Onita being absent from today’s show and assured everyone he will be back at Bakuha Koshien. Nita then attacked Ohka with the sickle but he got away mostly unharmed.

The language barrier was a little difficult but Chris Brookes got the message across to Ohka that he wants to be part of the Bakuha Koshien show when he comes back to Japan. Brookes was a big FMW fan growing up and he could never do an explosion match in England. He not only wants to take part in the match, he also wants to fight against Onita! It might kill him. If it does, it could also get him on the cover of Shukan Puroresu.

The second match turned out to be a lot more dangerous than expected. Mizuki Watase missed a Missile Dropkick intended for Ultimate Spider Jr. and hit Miss Mongol by accident instead. Mongol fainted which sent Watase into a rage. He charged at Spider but got pinned with an Inverted Hurricanrana. After the match Spider told everyone he wanted the match to be safer. He placed a chair down at the entrance stage and sat down in protest over how careless the match turned out. The other wrestlers simply lifted up the chair with him still sitting on it and carried him out of the room.

A 10 bell tribute was given to the late Kendo Nagasaki before the main event.

5. Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title – Delayed Young Drama Cup Final: Keisuke Ishii (c) defeated Kazuki Hirata with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (20:28).
*V4 for Keisuke Ishii.

This was not your regular Kazuki Hirata appearance. When he entered for the main event his usual “TOKYO GO!” song switched over to Hirata’s first entry song “Katare! Namida!” by SEX MACHINEGUN. There was no dancing or comedy, Hirata was here to win the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title from Keisuke Ishii! Hirata hit the GO! GO! Splash for a nearfall but couldn’t go through with the Egoist Driver when he needed to. Ishii slipped out of the move and hit a Tiger Suplex to turn the tide against his opponent. The High Angle Double Arm DDT ended up finishing Hirata and giving Ishii another title defence. After the match Ishii said his goal is to defend the title 17 times so he can break the championship record for most defences. This is only his fourth one so he couldn’t lost to Hirata today. Hirata accepted total defeat and encouraged Ishii to reach his goal. The show ended with all of Ganbare☆Wrestling gathering together in the ring. A tearful Ken Ohka spoke about how wonderful the group became this year. But it won’t be enough until Ganpro makes it to Korakuen Hall, Sumo Hall and even the Tokyo Dome! In 2020 Ganpro will become a major pro wrestling company!

Okay so I didn’t know this but the current Real GUTS Army team have actually been called Hattoshite Good Alps Industry because Guts Ishijima was no longer involved. The Hattoshite name is based off of a Toshihiko Tahara song. It probably doesn’t matter anymore because Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari & Miss Mongol beat them to win back the GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles. It was the result of a months long plan by Imanari to discover Kenichiro Arai’s weakness. Whenever they locked up, Imanari would make a strange noise that would make Arai run away with fear. He regained some control when Masked Mystery distracted the referee so he could remove a turnbuckle pad. Shota swung the pad but Imanari ducked and Arai took the hit. Ohka & Mongol held the others back while Imanari pinned Shota with his version of the Gedo Clutch, causing the title change. Ohka wants to claim the belts as a Ganpro championship from now on. All they have to do is pretend the “GW” in GWC stands for Ganbare☆Wrestling instead of Guts World. Mongol revealed in a backstage interview that her daughter is currently sick in hospital. When Mongol visits her later in the day she will cheer her up by telling her the good news about her mother winning a championship.
