7. Road To Wrestle Peter Pan! Special 3 Way Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Chris Brookes and Sanshiro Takagi when Takshita pinned Takagi with the German Suplex (23:21).

With “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2019” just over two weeks away, a preview of the big main event was scheduled to headline this show with champion Tetsuya Endo, challenger Konosuke Takeshita and future title contender Chris Brookes facing each other in a 3 Way Match. Endo pulled out of the match a while ago citing a heel injury suffered at the Pool Wrestling show. Sanshiro Takagi took his place and completely changed the match dynamic. When Yukinori Matsui was taken out of action, Takagi called for plastic boxes to be brought into the ring. The Dramatic Dream bicycle also made an appearance with Brookes cycling it into a ladder pressed against Takagi’s crotch. Brookes hit a Maki Itoh style falling Headbutt to confirm his membership in the Itoh Respect Army. He tried to put Takagi through a stack of cases with a Diving Senton but Takagi rolled out of the way. Takagi went for the pin but Takeshita broke it up with a Diving Body Press. Brookes later used Matsui as a shield to prevent Takeshita from hitting the Fable, then gave Takeshita a Low Blow after Matsui was pushed out of the way. Brookes had the match won with the Praying Mantis Bomb to Takeshita but Takagi pulled Matsui out of the ring mid-count. Brookes went for a Topé Suicida but Takagi smacked him with another plastic case in mid-air. Takagi set up the finish by putting Takeshita on a table then leaping off the ladder with a plastic case. Takeshita got away and Takagi crashed through both the case and the table. Takeshita won the match by deadlifting Takagi and German Suplexing him for the pin.

After the match Takeshita promised Brookes that the 21st July Korakuen Hall show will have them fighting each other for the KO-D Openweight Title. He then thanked Takagi for the match and called for Endo to meet him in the ring right now. Endo came out with his left heel wrapped up and he was using a crutch to support himself. Takeshita told Endo he doesn’t know what condition his ankle is in but he is still looking forward to their match at Ota Ward Gymnasium. Endo agreed but just when it looked like things were becoming okay between the two, Endo struck Takeshita with the crutch! He then did the Torture Rack Bomb to show that his heel is completely healthy. He ended the show by saying there are two people here, one is the KO-D Champion and the other is just a stupid challenger who was fooled by his appearance.

Experience and craftiness were the keys for Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao to win today. Their latest KO-D Tag Team Titles defence was against the youngster team of Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura. The challengers knew when to look out for Sasaki’s Low Blow but they didn’t have Takao scouted. When Yoshimura lifted Sasaki up from the Pedigree, Takao blinded him with the Red Mist. Sasaki hit the Pedigree for a nearfall but the Cross Facelock got Yoshimura to give up.

The result means DAMNATION will be the ones defending the Tag Titles against HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano on 15th July. HARASHIMA thanked DAMNATION for including their names in the Amidakuji chart. Urano reintroduced himself to the DDT fans just in case they forgot who he was after he went freelance two years ago. Sasaki asked if their team was called Smile Squash which suddenly made Takao burst into tears. Sasaki told them that Takao has many bad memories from his time in Smile Squash to they will dispose of them at Ota Ward. It won’t just be a title match, it will be a memory cancellation match!

Danshoku Dieno put himself through a gauntlet of different martial arts to prepare himself for Shinya Aoki. Each round was a one minute match against a wrestler representing a different sport. The time limit wasn’t enough for a result to happen until the end. Super Sasadango Machine used his match with Dieno to host a PowerPoint presentation about the most powerful forms of sleeping techniques. He described Aoki’s Sleeper Hold as a top level sleeping technique. He is worried he may have to retire if Dieno loses to Aoki. But if Dieno wins Sasadango will be happy to continue offering his PowerPoint services to him. Whatever happens, he fears that Dieno Vs Aoki will end up as disturbing as the infamous 4th January Shinya Hashimoto Vs Naoya Ogawa match. The last entrant in the gauntlet was Mad Paulie and Pokotan appeared to cheer Dieno on to victory. Dieno pinned Paulie with a School Boy five seconds over the limit (if you want to explain the concept of time to Mad Paulie then be my guest) then promised he will have the most ridiculous match with Aoki. Suddenly Pokotan grabbed Dieno and choked him out with the Sleeper Hold. Its head fell off revealing it was Aoki underneath! Aoki politely told an unconscious Dieno that he doesn’t like that idea then left.

Yes, Yukio Sakaguchi and Kota Umeda kicked the shit out of each other. Sakaguchi escaped from the Umeda Driver and hit a High Kick before submitting Umeda with an Armlock inside a Triangle Choke. The two walked side by side together to the back after the match. Sakaguchi said in his interview afterwards that the match brought back memories of their time together in Shuten-dōji. He asked him to tag together one last time before Umeda leaves pro wrestling on 21st July. Umeda said he will continue fighting while he still can.

All this fear over Aoki’s Sleeper Hold only gives him the chance to surprise everyone with other moves in his arsenal. He and HARASHIMA got the win over The Moonlight Express when Aoki countered MAO’s Facelock into a Backslide Pin for the three count.

Big lads collided when the rookie Yukio Naya fought Kazusada Higuchi. A battle of Elbow Smashes ended with Higuchi hitting a Lariat and putting Naya away with the Doctor Bomb. Naya was disappointed with the result and made it his goal to beat Higuchi as revenge for the loss. On the bright side, he feels at home in DDT. Higuchi admits that Naya in his current state has a scary amount of power. He wants to wrestle him more and more.

Asuka sent Akito a big message by pinning him with the Moonsault Press in their tag match. Akito had to send a bigger message afterwards so he told her he made his decision for their DDT Extreme Title match at Ota Ward. It will be a Fluorescent Lighttube Match! Asuka told Akito she loves that match and asked how many lighttubes there would be. 100? 200? No, Akito answered there will only be one lighttube! That’s right, it’s the return of the IPPON Lighttube Death Match! Akito then asked Hisaya Imabayashi if they have permission from the venue to do that match. Otherwise Akito won’t defend the title!

What a bad slump Mizuki Watase is in. Stuck in the pre-show and he can’t even win that. Shota came in to replace a sick Nobuhiro Shimatani and caught Watase with a Casadora to get his hand raised.

At the beginning of the show Imabayashi read through the recent DDT news announcements like new merchandise and upcoming show dates. Afterwards Mr. Nakano from Soken Holdings entered the ring to complain about only have 10 followers on Twitter and having none of the DDT wrestlers follow him back. Imabayashi cheered him up by asking him to be the official witness for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title Battle Royal at Ota Ward. He called out Toru Owashi to confirm it. Someone looking like Owashi but in a much thinner form came out carrying the title belt. Mr. Nakano snuck up on him and pinned him with a School Boy. He thought he was the new champion but the real Owashi then walked out. It turns out this was all a marketing stunt to advertise the brand new Owashi rubber masks that will be sold at Ota Ward. If only they told Mr. Nakano that before the real Owashi knocked him out.

7. Special Match: Shinya Aoki defeated Konosuke Takeshita with the Foot Choke (7:03).
8. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) defeated Makoto Oishi with the Shooting Star Press (28:18).
*V1 for Tetsuya Endo.

So close yet so far for Makoto Oishi. He went into the main event with a lot of support but little chance of beating Tetsuya Endo for the KO-D Openweight Title. But boy did he take a crack at it! Knowing that he had already beaten Endo with the Ground Cross 200 earlier this month, Oishi targeted Endo’s legs with Knee Crushers and a hanging Figure Four wrapped around the ring post. When Oishi finally applied the Ground Cross 200, Mad Paulie distracted the referee in order to break the hold. Endo also came close to losing after Oishi hit a Moonsault outside the ring, leaving Endo to barely escape a countout by entering the ring at 19. Oishi had one more unexpected trick to use and that was to give Endo a Danshoku Dieno style Lip Lock so he would be left vulnerable for a Piledriver. A Spinning Backfist and the Jikiden Tornado Clutch was the closest Oishi came to winning with a 2.9 pin count. But when Endo recovered he struck Oishi with the Handspring Overhead Kick and got a nearfall with the Spinning Torture Rack Bomb. From there Endo hit the Shooting Star Press for the victory.

Oishi was taken out of the ring to cheers but Endo stayed to hear what will happen next in the KO-D Title scene. Hisaya Imabayashi told him his next scheduled defence will be in Matsuyama on 2nd June. Endo joked that he wanted Nobuhiro Shimatani to be the challenger. Instead Keisuke Ishii walked out wearing his Right To Challenge Guantlet. Ishii told Endo he will cash in the Gauntlet for a KO-D Title match on 19th May at Korakuen Hall. Imabayashi told Ishii that this year the Gauntlet rules have changed and DDT will not permit any preempted cash ins. Ishii told him he has a plan and will use his cash in at the right time on the show to make it a surprise as the rules intended. So DDT cannot officially confirm or advertise Endo Vs Ishii for the title on the 15th but it will happen there somehow.

In a rematch from last December, Shinya Aoki avenged his loss to Konosuke Takeshita. In order to get into the different vibe of the match, Takeshita wrestled barefoot in plain black trunks. Aoki put him in a Sleeper Hold but Takeshita reached the ropes and stepped out to the apron to break it up. When Aoki let go, Takeshita jumped from the apron and Headbutted his opponent. He did a German Suplex, put Aoki into a Crab Hold and transitioned into a Cross Armbreaker. However control switched to Aoki and he cinched in the Foot Choke to make Takeshita give up. The two shook hands and bumped fists after the match.

The KO-D Tag Team Titles match was chaos as three teams fought it out for the belts. The champions Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao jumped everyone to start things off then The Moonlight Express hit a double Moonsault to the outside onto Ricky Starks & Mike Rollins. Sasaki put both Starks and Mike Bailey into a stacked Cross Facelock until MAO broke it up with a Springboard Senton. The Express gave Sasaki the Michinoku Tornado Driver but Starks & Rollins broke the pin. The Express got rid of Starks & Rollins when Bailey hit a Standing Shooting Star Knee Drop onto Rollins on the apron while MAO hit the Cannonball 450 on Starks. However Sasaki distracted the referee so Takao could give MAO a Low Blow. Takao then used a Vertebreaker (DDT is calling it a Reverse Gory Special Bomb in their results) to get the win and keep the tag belts in DAMNATION. Backstage MAO is disturbed over the result. He revealed his goal for the last three years was to get rid of DAMNATION and revert Tetsuya Endo back to the way he was before he joined that group. Recent events have been a major setback but MAO promises he will achieve his goal some day. Rollins is upset he lost his first Korakuen match. Starks said the two of them are Psycho & Sexy. They will always have a chance to win the tag titles the next time they come back to DDT. Sasaki mocked Takeshita for running away from the match to go play pro wrestling with Aoki.

Both HARASHIMA and Antonio Honda entered the ring wearing towels around their waists. They took off the towels to reveal they were both wearing panties over their gear. It was time for the Panty☆Hunt Tiger Cub Rope Death Match! The rules were the first person to remove their opponent’s panties would be the winner. But HARASHIMA and Honda also had to wrestle while they were tied together with a tiger rope with a cuddly little stuffed tiger toy attached to it. Honda used the tiger toy as a shield because HARASHIMA was too nice to harm the tiger. The two would then tie each other up in the rope until HARASHIMA hit the Somato. But Honda used the momentum to roll on top of HARASHIMA’s back and pull his panties off to become the new DDT Extreme Champion! HARASHIMA congratulated Honda on the win and when he left, Akito came out to challenge Honda. Akito brought up when Honda said the Extreme Title matches were the most exciting of his career. It was the same for Akito which is why he wants a title shot. They agreed to have the match in Kitazawa Town Hall on 25th May.

It’s a little over a year until the Olympic Games reach Tokyo but DDT is getting into the swing of things early by bringing in Yoshiaki Yatsu to wrestle for them. He kept everybody on their toes but it was Sanshiro Takagi who had the winner’s spotlight on him at the end. Takagi yelled “Thank you Heisei!” before he hit Hiroshi Yamato with the flying Clothesline From Hell to end the match. Takagi is now in possession of the Blue Right To Challenge Gauntlet.

Today was the first time Saki Akai & Asuka teamed together. It worked out great for them since they beat Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani. However Akai admitted the teamwork she had with Asuka felt incomplete. It needs more power because that is how Meiko Satomura measures other wrestlers no matter their gender. Since Akai only wrestles in DDT she went looking at other interesting places to find someone to give her team more power. She found that person. Joining Akai & Asuka for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match on 11th May is Hikaru Shida!

Keisuke Okuda ends his tenure with DDT by kicking Yuki Iino in the head. There is no bad blood coming out of the match. Okuda shook hands with everyone and they all posed for a group photo. His history with Yuki Ueno in DNA is also water under the bridge as they were on friendly terms during the backstage interviews. Okuda also said he will miss Naomi Yoshimura because they wrestled as the Naomi Kingdom together. Okuda is now gone from the company but he thinks his path will cross with the DDT roster again in the future.

Two months after its pro wrestling debut, the mascot Pokotan returned to the ring for its second match. Disaster struck when Kazuki Hirata chopped Pokotan’s head off, revealing the top of its robotic frame underneath. Pokotan went haywire and attacked Hirata relentlessly. Yukinori Matsui tried to stop the mascot but he got thrown out of the ring, causing a disqualification. Pokotan then attacked everything in sight until Danshoku Dieno placed its head back on. That fixed the problem and Pokotan was back to its friendly, lovable self.

Dieno was part of the show opening festivities but got ambushed by Gota Ihashi and Nobuhiro Shimatani on two separate occasions. Dieno was able to fight both of them off in ways that only he can to stay as the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion.

Kenta Kobashi appeared after intermission to promote his next Fortune Dream show on 10th June. Kazusada Higuchi will be teaming with Yuji Okabayashi for a match against the NOAH team of Yoshiki Inamura & Go Shiozaki. When Ishii announced his plans at the end of the show he turned over to Kobashi at the commentary table and told him how much of a big fan he is of him. Ishii brought up Kobashi’s match with Terry Gordy on 21st May, 1993 in Sapporo that he is particularly fond of. Ishii said he will shine like Kobashi did on that day when he cashes in his title shot.

7. Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Makoto Oishi when Endo pinned Oishi with the Shooting Star Press (18:28).
Oh well it’s back to normal for Makoto Oishi. After yesterday’s success he was back losing to Tetsuya Endo today. The two confronted each other after the match. Oishi Headbutted Endo but Endo hit back with a Lariat forcing Oishi to roll out of the ring. With a week to go before their KO-D Openweight Title match Endo said he will go back to New York to replenish his condition and come back to Japan feeling reborn.
Times have changed but Man will continue to fight. That was the message behind the 5 Vs 5 Generation Elimination match. At the start of the show the two teams faced off in the ring but it turned into a brawl with Super Sasadango Machine getting unmasked in the process. For the match itself most of the eliminations were caused by Ring Outs including the finish where Masahiro Takanashi and Mizuki Watase knocked each other off the apron to the floor. Neither team wanted a draw so they agreed to a final match to decide the winner. Sasadango stepped up for his team because he suffered next to no damage in the match. Watase represented his side so he could get another chance to win. Sasadango hit the Vertical Drop Lehmann Shock but couldn’t put Watase away. He got so worked up that he unmasked himself and became Muscle Sakai! Watase resisted Sakai’s trademark moves and pinned him with a School Boy to win the match for the younger generation!
The power of Yoshihiko was eventually used against Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata. It survived being punted by The Moonlight Express to give them a Double Hurricanrana but Asuka then threw Yoshihiko at Hirata and it gave him the Reincarnation out of instinct. Asuka then pinned Hirata with the Moonsault. After the sponsored prizes were given to the winners, Hirata attacked Yoshihiko along with its handler Danshoku Dieno. Hirata then pinned Yoshihiko to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Hirata thought all was fine and dandy until Dieno attacked him and pinned him with the Danshoku Driver to become the new champion.
Mad Paulie is out of heat and has turned back to normal.

7. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs Makoto Oishi
For his first KO-D Openweight Title defence, Tetsuya Endo has chosen Makoto Oishi to be his opponent because he is guaranteed to beat him. That was proven over the weekend when Endo submitted Oishi in the main event of Sunday’s show. Oishi thinks he has a chance because he could outsmart Endo with his wrestling knowledge. Endo thinks he has everything in his arsenal to beat Oishi anyway no matter how Oishi uses his head when they wrestle.
There is a lot of craziness surrounding the KO-D Tag Team Titles match. Konosuke Takeshita challenged the new champions DAMNATION because he wants to get revenge for losing the KO-D Title to Daisuke Sasaki in New York. The Moonlight Express want to get their rematch because they are the former champions. Newcomers Ricky Starks & Mike Rollins saw an opportunity to get involved in the title picture and also want to be in the match. So we are getting a 4 Way Match for the belts. Now there is a new bump in the road for ALL OUT because it was announced today that Shunma Katsumata is out of action for an undetermined amount of time with a left ankle injury.
The mascot Pokotan wrestles in a DDT ring for the first time since its debut at “JUDGEMENT 2019”.

Yuka Sakazaki has been the same and both of them have more overseas bookings they’re looking forward too. Sadly for Shoko Nakajima when it comes to the most established power trio of Tokyo Joshi she’s been feeling left out. Well no more! Nakajima has challenged Yamashita for the TOKYO Princess Title at Korakuen Hall. Will Anguirus topple Godzilla?
Misao is constantly telling everyone that Hyper Misao is dead and never coming back. Rika Tatsumi doesn’t believe her and is willing to fight her to prove the superhero is still alive in there somewhere. Miu Watanabe has been constantly fighting and losing to NEO Biishiki-gun ever since Misao joined the unit. With the Up Up Girls now down one member and her other partners currently taking separate paths, she gets another chance to stand up to Sakisama.

6. HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi & Yuki Ueno defeated Antonio Honda, Kazusada Higuchi & Kota Umeda when HARASHIMA pinned Honda with a Cradle (14:11).
7. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata when Endo pinned Katsumata with the Shooting Star Press (17:03).
DDT is back to work after their American vacation and there is a lot to get through. After the main event Konosuke Takeshita expressed his desire to win back the KO-D Openweight Title. However he has an even bigger desire to avenge his defeat to Daisuke Sasaki so he challenged him to a KO-D Tag Team Titles match instead! Takeshita picked Shunma Katsumata to be his partner, partly because Akito is out of action and Yuki Iino is more suited for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. After his challenge was made, The Moonlight Express came out demanding their title rematch against DAMNATION. If that wasn’t enough the team of Ricky Starks & Mike Rollins also came out wanting a title shot. Sasaki refused to hand out a title match to anybody until Tetsuya Endo talked to him. Endo said there are only two kinds of people in the world, those who take challenges and those who refuse them. Which one is Sasaki? That convinced Sasaki to make a 4 Way Tag match for the Tag Titles on 28th April!
When that was over with, Endo announced his first challenger for the KO-D Title on 28th April. It’s… Makoto Oishi? Even Oishi was surprised to hear this but he asked the fans to support him in Korakuen Hall. Oishi then became more confident, telling Endo he will be a weak champion if he can’t win on the 28th. Oishi will show Endo how he uses his head to win matches. Endo closed out the show telling the audience he was reborn in New York and grew up in New York. There are two kinds of people in this world, losers and the winner, Tetsuya Endo!
HARASHIMA had intentions to tell Antonio Honda their DDT Extreme Title stipulation today but he hasn’t been able to think of anything. Honda asked if he could be given time to come up with the match idea instead. HARASHIMA agreed and they shook hands as a promise to come up with the best rules to create the best match.
One High Kick after another resulted in a double knockout between Yukio Sakaguchi and Keisuke Okuda. Sakaguchi told Okuda he enjoyed that match and to remember they will be together again for a tag match in Yokohama next week.
Although Asuka and Saki Akai were opponents today, they were on the same page after the match. Asuka said she is starving to win a championship again and if Akai can help her, she’ll be happy to team up. Akai now needs one more person to join her team so she can challenge for the 6-Man Tag Titles.
Springtime means that Mad Paulie’s face is turning red again because he is back in heat.
Kazuki Hirata and Hiroshi Yamato complained that the other’s entrance is too long.
Antonio Honda talked about his experience in New York at the start of the show. He doesn’t understand why everyone booed his Hulk Hogan impersonation at the DDT show but when the real Hogan appeared at WrestleMania he was greatly cheered.
The 2019 King Of DDT tournament will begin on 29th April. So far 14 names have been revealed. They are Konosuke Takeshita, HARASHIMA, Daisuke Sasaki, Yukio Sakaguchi, Akito, Soma Takao, Masahiro Takanashi, Kazusada Higuchi, MAO, Mike Bailey, Kota Umeda, Naomi Yoshimura, Yuki Ueno and Kazuki Hirata. A Battle Royal for the 1st Round losers will take place on 6th May and the winner will qualify for the 2nd Round happening that same day. The tournament winner will receive a KO-D Title shot at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2019” in July along with a million yen cash prize.

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao defeated Mike Bailey & MAO (c) when Takao pinned MAO with the Gin And Tonic (14:52).
*The Moonlight Express fails in V4. DAMNATION becomes the 66th KO-D Tag Team Champions!
7. DDT Extreme Title – #IThoughtOfTheExtremeRules Best 2 Out Of 3 Match: HARASHIMA (c) (2) defeated Muscle Sakai (1).
7a. Daruma-san ga Koronda Death Match: Muscle Sakai defeated HARASHIMA (c) by TKO (4:20).
7b. Telephone Death Match: HARASHIMA (c) defeated Muscle Sakai (4:50).
7c. Get Pinned For 3 Seconds Match: HARASHIMA (c) defeated Muscle Sakai with a High Kick From Below (4:25).
*V1 for HARASHIMA.

The creative juices were flowing for HARASHIMA and Muscle Sakai in their DDT Extreme Title match. It was best two out of three with a different stipulation in each fall. First fall was a game of Daruma-san ga Koronda. When that phrase was shouted into the microphone, both wrestlers had to freeze. If anyone moved they would be deducted a point and the first one to lose three points would be disqualified. Both HARASHIMA and Sakai lost their first point at the same time because the phrase was said while they were in the middle of a Brianbuster. HARASHIMA lost his second point while he was doing the Swan Dive Superplex. He was then DQ’ed when the phrase was called while he hit Sakai with the Somato.

Fall #2 was a Telephone Death Match. Both wrestlers had to constantly have a conversation with other people on their phones while they wrestled. If they get interrupted for three seconds they will lose. Sakai said he was at a disadvantage because he had poor reception in the ring. He was on the line to Michael Nakazawa and told him to come out and help when HARASHIMA was beating him. Nakazawa came out but his attack backfired and knocked Sakai’s phone away. Sakai couldn’t pick up his phone in time and he was counted out.

The third and final fall could only be won by a wrestler if he was pinned by his opponent. HARASHIMA purposely used moves that placed himself on his back and shoulders so he could get pinned but Sakai struggled away. Sakai gave HARASHIMA the Lehmann Shock twice and tried to do it a third time, enough to statistically guarantee he would win the match! But HARASHIMA suddenly kicked Sakai in the head and Sakai fell on top of him for the unintentional pin. This means HARASHIMA won the third fall and is ultimately the winner and still the Extreme Champion!

HARASHIMA thanked Sakai for the match but was quickly interrupted when Antonio Honda entered the ring only wearing a t-shirt, underwear and socks. He didn’t think about putting pants on because he is only focused on getting an Extreme Title shot! The matches he’s had when fighting for this title is the most he’s enjoyed wrestling so he wants to experience that again. Tetsuya Koda was against the idea because Honda doesn’t have the track record to deserve a title match. Hisaya Imabayashi stood up for Honda by pointing out he recently main evented Sumo Hall. That was enough to convince Koda and the title match was booked for the 28th April Korakuen Hall show.

The show was reaching its end so HARASHIMA invited Nakazawa to come out and have his farewell ceremony. Sanshiro Takagi handed Nakazawa a bouquet and admitted that even though he beat Nakazawa up over the last 14 years, he would have liked him to stay in DDT. But if Kenny Omega needs Nakazawa over in America for AEW then Takagi is more than happy to send him over. Nakazawa also said he would like to stay in DDT but he wants to help out his best friend Kenny. Nakazawa was given the 10 bell salute but it was interrupted by a video message from Omega himself! In the video Omega said it’s been a long time since he’s been with the DDT fans and he wishes he could have been at the show today. He apologised to DDT for stealing Nakazawa from them to be the AEW Vice President’s Vice President. AEW needs Nakazawa but Omega also knows that you should never forget your family. So even though Nakazawa is a part of AEW he will also continue to be a part of DDT! Nakazawa can still wrestle in DDT and who knows, maybe Kenny will also show up in DDT again someday? The video ended and Takagi’s first response was to give Nakazawa a Stunner. Maybe out of celebration for keeping Nakazawa or maybe because Omega is coming back to DDT someday. Either way it’s good news.

Both of the KO-D Tag Titles changed hands on the show today. The KO-D Tag Team Titles are back in the hands of DAMNATION when Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao beat The Moonlight Express. For weeks Sasaki had been in a slump losing one match after another. But with nothing left to lose he went to his cheating ways and that gave DAMNATION the chance to win. Sasaki attacked Mike Bailey with a chair then threw it at MAO when MAO jumped off the turnbuckle. The Express fought back and looked to have the match won when MAO went for the Cannonball 450 on Soma Takao while Bailey Moonsaulted out of the ring onto Sasaki. Bailey hit his target but Takao rolled away from MAO’s Cannonball. MAO tried to give Takao the Michinoku Driver I but Takao countered it into the Gin And Tonic to win.

Takao told everyone it’s been seven years since his previous KO-D Tag Title reign. He finally has it back. He would talk about it more but he has somewhere to go so he passed the microphone over to Sasaki. The DAMNATION leader mourned about today being his last day in DDT. He’s been here for 10 years and while it was good he now wants to go abroad and sign with a company like AEW. Tetsuya Endo and Mad Paulie cried as Sasaki walked away. Takao said thank you to Sasaki, something he has never said out loud. Nobuhiro Shimatani however saw an opportunity and declared himself the new leader of DAMNATION! It only lasted a few seconds because Sasaki got back into the ring and he gave Shimatani a Low Blow. Sasaki changed his mind. He is staying in DDT and will take over from Shimatani to become the new, third leader of DAMNATION!

The KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles also changed hands when the Sendai Girls defeated ALL OUT! The growing rivalry between Konosuke Takeshita and Meiko Satomura continued while they led their teams into battle. Yuki Iino found himself matching power with power against Chihiro Hashimoto while Akito faced off with DASH Chisako. Chisako dealt out RKOs and used a Top Rope Hurricanrana to fling Hashimoto onto Takeshita. Her momentum was stopped dead by Iino’s Spear. Hashimoto used her own Spears to great effect. The Sendai Girls isolated Iino and dropped him big with a Triple Tower Of Doom where Satomura & Chisako Superplexed him from an assisted Hashimoto Power Bomb. Iino struggled to fight out of Hashimoto’s grasp so Satomura hit him with the Scorpio Rising. From there Hashimoto pulled off the Albright German Suplex, resulting in new champions!

Satomura and Takeshita faced off after the match but a frustrated Takeshita backed off and left. Hashimoto told everyone that the Sendai Girls are the strongest out there among both men and women. Saki Akai then came down to the ring. She congratulated the new champions then said she wanted to be part of their first defence. Tetsuya Koda asked Akai if she has any tag partners. Akai admitted she doesn’t have any. She was so excited to come out and challenge the Sendai Girls that she never thought about who her partners should be. Satomura told Akai to go out and find her team. There is something about Akai that hasn’t been shown yet and Satomura wants to help wake up this sleeping talent.

The time for redemption was here for Gota Ihashi. After so much hard work he finally got to step in the ring again with Riki Choshu. Did he win Choshu’s respect? Eh… not really. Ihashi did his best and had the fan support despite getting pinned by Kazusada Higuchi. His effort even had Yukio Sakaguchi calling out to Choshu after the match to give the poor lad some credit. When asked about it backstage, Choshu said he didn’t care. He was fine teaming with Higuchi and Yuki Ueno though.

A sneaky Kazuki Hirata discovered that Furitsuke Kamen is unable to do his Pro Wrestling Exercises without his mask. So Hirata stole the mask before their match took place. Kamen confronted Hirata in the ring and the two duelled while the match continued. When Hirata thought he won he celebrated but Kamen chopped him in the neck and reclaimed his mask. Hirata then recovered and chopped back at Kamen. The two continued fighting until they started to like each other. They approached and looked like they were about to kiss when Makoto Oishi cradled Hirata for the three count. Hirata agreed to give Kamen his mask back so the entire venue could experience the Pro Wrestling Exercise. Everyone who was in the match was joined by Hiroshi Yamato, Pokotan and some masked dancers for a big dance performance.

Michael Nakazawa’s farewell match had a couple of restarts because he kept getting pinned within seconds. Eventually they all agreed to changed the 5 Vs 1 Handicap Match into a regular trios match. Miraculously, Nakazawa won by pinning Takagi! He got hug Takagi, Masahiro Takanashi and Tomomitsu Matsunaga and his farewell ceremony was pushed to the end of the show.

When Bull James was running wild in the opener, DAMNATION threw the trainee Nakamura into the ring to try and stop him. James picked up Nakamura and threw him out of the ring onto them instead! James went on to crush Shimatani with a Samoan Drop and then the Doink Drop for the win.

Shunma Katsumata used the Casadora to set up a Double Foot Stomp to win the pre-show match against Mizuki Watase.

Tenshin Nasukawa will be a special guest at the AbemaTowers Wrestling show on 29th March. Danshoku Dieno will also be there looking for the AbemaTV president again.

Next month’s Korakuen show will be sponsored by Souken Holdings. The company spokesman Mr. Nakano tried whatever he could to be part of the show opening announcements. He also offered to make entrance music for some of the wrestlers. His eagerness was such a nuisance that Takeshita had to chop him while Imabayashi held Nakano back. With Nakano taken care of, Takeshita changed the subject to his recent trip to the UK. He missed a connecting flight so his entire journey from Japan to England lasted 36 hours!

6. ALL OUT Vs DISASTER BOX: HARASHIMA, Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Iino when HARASHIMA pinned Katsumata with the Somato (12:41).
7. Born In Shiroishi City Tetsuya Endo Local Triumph! – Oshu Three Big Single Match: Tetsuya Endo defeated Akito with the Shooting Star Press (22:46).
After the main event Tetsuya Endo talked about the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake because this weekend was the 8th anniversary of the disaster. On that day, Endo was having his school graduation ceremony. When he stood waiting at the Sendai train station when the earthquake alarm suddenly began. The centre of the station’s ceiling collapsed and he ran away. He wondered if this was reality because it felt like he was in a movie as he ran. It was a horrible experience but now eight years later he is able to wrestle in Miyagi along with the rest of DAMNATION. His point was that human beings are strong, both those in the ring and those who came to see the show today.
Tsuyoshi Kikuchi allegedly wasn’t in the venue in time for his match so Sanshiro Takagi’s new partner was Sendai Bean (Kikuchi doing a weird Mr. Bean imitation). However during the match Sendai Bean went missing and Kikuchi reappeared to take part in the match, despite still wearing the Sendai Bean costume. The Hardcore Tag match saw Takagi put both MAO & Mike Bailey through a table with a Diving Body Press, the return of the Dramatic Dream Cycle, plenty of broken plastic cases, MAO giving Takagi a Michinoku Driver onto a ladder and a Cannonball 450 through a plastic case. MAO apologised to the fans for the sudden decision to make this a hardcore match without any explanation.
Bull James joined in with Antonio Honda’s Gongitsune story after he accidentally tripped over him and hurt himself the same way Honda always does.
Match #2 looked like it was going to have no ending when Keisuke Okuda threatened to snap Kazuki Hirata’s glasses in two. Hirata ran off scared and Okuda chased after him. They reappeared in the next match and accidentally interfered in the contest Toru Owashi and Makoto Oishi were having. After more shenanigans, Okuda and Owashi both pinned Hirata and Oishi with School Boys at the same time to win their matches.

1. Raw Oysters, Grilled Oysters, Steamed Oysters 3 Way Match: Yoshihiko defeated Antonio Honda and Kazuki Hirata when Yoshihiko pinned Hirata after the Miracle Ecstasy from Makoto Oishi (11:00).
*Yoshihiko wins Kazuki Hirata’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.
2. Asuka, Kenshin Chikano & Lowther defeated Yukio Sakaguchi, Masahiro Takanashi & Rey Paloma when Asuka submitted Paloma with a Cradle (7:36).
3. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Toru Owashi, Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura when Endo submitted Ueno with the Modified Yurikamome Hold (11:41).
4. HARASHIMA & Takeshi Okada defeated Keisuke Okuda & Makoto Oishi when HARASHIMA pinned Oishi with the Somato (9:22).
5. Kota Umeda defeated Yuki Iino with two PKs (10:21).
*Kota Umeda wins Yuki Iino’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.
6. Soma Takao defeated Akito with the Official Endless Waltz (11:10).
7. Hiroshima Specialty! Jingi Naki Special Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi & Bull James defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata when Higuchi pinned Katsumata with the Doctor Bomb (14:40).
Bull James thanked Kazusada Higuchi for teaming with him today. He wants Higuchi to team with him again anytime. Higuchi replied that he doesn’t understand English at all. James also praised Konosuke Takeshita and thinks he can go wrestle all over the world.
All the DAMNATION members at ringside celebrated when Soma Takao beat Akito. Takao was critical of The Moonlight Express for wrestling at K-DOJO instead of DDT today (The Express successfully defended the STRONGEST-K TAG Titles against Dinosaur Takuma & Kotaro Yoshino). He wonders if that means The Express hates Hiroshima. If so then the anger of Hiroshima’s citizens will follow Takao and help him destroy MAO & Mike Bailey!
Two more movements happened with the Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlets. Kota Umeda defeated Yuki Iino to take the Yellow Gauntlet. Umeda notices all of the younger wrestlers his age have been joining up in the different units lately while he has stayed independent. Umeda thinks he is better off on his own. That way he can keep his momentum going while competing with the rest of his generation. Yoshihiko won the Blue Gauntlet with some help from his handler Makoto Oishi. When Kazuki Hirata noticed how much help Yoshihiko was getting from Oishi, Hirata aimed for Oishi instead. Oishi fought back, hit the Miracle Ecstasy and threw Yoshihiko on top for the pin.
Naomi Yoshimura had to be held back from starting a fight with DAMNATION after their match.
Although Rey Paloma was defeated, he lifted everyone’s spirits up by dressing Yukio Sakaguchi up in his entrance clothes while his music played.

4. DDT Extreme Title – #ExtremeRuleThoughts: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Muscle Sakai
The DDT fans have been asked to tweet ideas for rules and match stipulations for the DDT Extreme Title bout between HARASHIMA and Muscle Sakai under the hashtag #エクストリームのルール考えました. HARASHIMA will pick his favourite idea on 11th March. Sakai apologises for the current state of the pro wrestling world because a man like him can qualify for a championship match without having any skills or previous achievements. But when he watched HARASHIMA wrestle Shinya Aoki in Sumo Hall he was inspired by what he saw and became determined to challenge the winner no matter what.
Daisuke Sasaki is falling down the well and falling hard since he lost the KO-D Openweight Title. He just lost a match clean to Makoto Oishi for cripes’ sake! He is now so down in the dumps that he believes his wrestling career is coming to an end and he will have no choice but to leave Japan in shame. But before he goes he wants to make some final happy memories to keep him company so he and Soma Takao are challenging The Moonlight Express for the KO-D Tag Team Titles.
The Sendai Girls are coming back for a shot at redemption and also the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. They failed to beat ALL OUT for the belts last July and the result has been festering inside Meiko Satomura all this time. She wants to take out her frustration on Konosuke Takeshita most of all. DASH Chisako is along for the ride again but this time the third member of the team is Chihiro Hashimoto! She too is holding a grudge with Takeshita because an enemy of Satomura is an enemy of hers too!
Speaking of redemption, finally Gota Ihashi will face Riki Choshu again inside the ring! For over a year Ihashi has worked tirelessly on his fitness and his pro wrestling to make up for an embarrassing performance he had while teaming with the legendary Choshu. All his hard work is leading up to this match.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GIRLS SHINING, I WILL FLY TO HAKATA”, 31/03/2019
Hakata Star Lanes
1. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Yuka Sakazaki
Yuka Sakazaki has been chosen by Miyu Yamashita to be her next challenger for the TOKYO Princess Title. Yamashita’s goal is to get at least 10 title defences in her current reign. She is currently on 8. She also wants this match to happen before Sakazaki travels to America for her AEW debut.
Aja Kong, Mika Iwata and Rina Shingaki will all be on the show.
DDT “GOODBYE HAKATA STAR LANES”, 31/03/2019
Hakata Star Lanes
1. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Jiro Kuroshio
It’s about bloody time they’re doing this match! In January 2018, Jiro Kuroshio defeated Takeshita in a non-title match as part of the first D-Ou Grand Prix tournament. Normal wrestling etiquette suggests that a rematch with the KO-D Title on the line would come out of it. That never happened. Well a year has passed, Takeshita is the champion again and now the match is happening as part of Takeshita’s plan to defend the KO-D Title against a wider variety of wrestlers. But there is something that could happen to make the match even more interesting. Kuroshio is challenging T-Hawk for the WRESTLE-1 Title on 21st March. If Kuroshio wins and becomes champion then the match with Takeshita may become a double title match!
Isami Kodaka and Takumi Tsukamoto will be on the show so BASARA can be a part of DDT’s final event in Hakata Star Lanes.
DDT “DDT IS COMING TO AMERICA”, 04/04/2019
La Boom, Queens, New York
1. Miyu Yamashita Vs Maki Itoh
2. Danshoku Dieno & Antonio Honda Vs Joey Ryan & Royce Isaacs
3. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Battle Royal: Saki Akai (c) Vs Makoto Oishi Vs Kazuki Hirata Vs Yoshihiko Vs Kikutaro Vs Colt Cabana Vs X

6. Weapon Rumble In U.S.A.: MAO Vs Sanshiro Takagi
7. Daisuke Sasaki Vs Konosuke Takeshita
That’s an authentic looking DDT card for sure. The “JUDGEMENT 2019” main event rematch, the Weapon Rumble rematch, Tokyo Joshi Pro representation, a Rumble for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and Danshoku Dieno crosses paths with Joey Ryan again. There’s even a RENEGADES reunion with Shigehiro Irie & Jason Kincaid. The North American talent announced so far have all been established in DDT too.
DDT “SHUTEN-DOJI 5TH ANNIVERSARY ~DRINKING TURNS YOUR LIFE AROUND~”, 17/04/2019
Shinjuku FACE
1. KUDO & HARASHIMA Vs MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba
2. Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Masahiro Takanashi
The Shuten-dōji unit will be taking a break from each other after this show. KUDO is taking an indefinite leave of absence from pro wrestling so he can recover from a list of different injuries he’s been living with. He has nerve paralysis in his left eye, a lumbar hernia and suffers from dizziness from time to time. His doctor told him the best treatment is to take rest. KUDO promises he will return to the ring eventually and even apologises if this only turns out to be a short break and he quickly returns.
With KUDO out of action, the rest of Shuten-dōji agreed to call it a day as a group. Yukio Sakaguchi and Masahiro Takanashi will be going their separate ways as wrestlers. They will face each other one on one to celebrate the end of Shuten-dōji for now. KUDO meanwhile will team with his old partner HARASHIMA to take on the reunited Suicide Boyz for this special occasion. This will be MIKAMI’s first match for DDT in over three and a half years.

7. Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere 3 Way Match – Over The Top Rope Rules: Tetsuya Endo defeated HARASHIMA and Kazusada Higuchi (18:33).
7a. Tetsuya Endo eliminated HARASHIMA by Ring Out (13:08).
7b. Tetsuya Endo eliminated Kazusada Higuchi with the Shooting Star Press (18:33).
*Tetsuya Endo wins the Red Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.
The Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlets were reintroduced today for their annual run. Three Gauntlets were on the line in three matches each with different stipulations. Tetsuya Endo won his in a 3 Way Battle Royal against HARASHIMA and Kazusada Higuchi. Endo eliminated both of them by himself. Yuki Iino won a Gauntlet by beating Kota Umeda in a regular match. Makoto Oishi won the third one by winning a 4 Way. This year the Gauntlets can only be cashed in for a KO-D Openweight Title shot on the spot. They also will not become active until tomorrow. Endo and Oishi weren’t aware of that and they both wanted to get their title match today. Hisaya Imabayashi had to tell them they couldn’t a bunch of times. The usual rule where if the Gauntlet holder is beaten in a match they must give the Gauntlet to the winner still stands. Oishi wanted to cash in today because he isn’t convinced he can beat Daisuke Sasaki tomorrow.
The new team of Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura have today showed they mean business. They weren’t able to beat Konosuke Takeshita & Akito but taking them to a 30 minute draw is no small task that’s for sure. Takeshita told Ueno & Yoshimura that some day maybe he will fight one of them in a Sumo Hall main event. Maybe Ueno and Yoshimura will be fighting each other in that main event instead. Whatever it is, Takeshita will look forward to it. Ueno said he isn’t feeling proud over the draw. Both he and Yoshimura became pro wrestlers so they could beat Takeshita. They will be a challenge for him from now on!

When they left, Takeshita was joined by the rest of ALL OUT in the ring. He said that what just happened will probably lead to them defending the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles against Disaster Box. He was interrupted when the room lights switched off and a video played on the screen. It was Meiko Satomura! She hasn’t forgotten when Takeshita humiliated her when the Sendai Girls failed to win the KO-D 6-Man Titles from ALL OUT last year. She wants to challenge them again with DASH Chisako and one other person. The room lights switched back on and standing in the ring behind Takeshita was Chihiro Hashimoto! She grabbed Takeshita and gave him a German Suplex. She introduced herself to the audience then repeated Satomura’s challenge. She has never seen Satomura look so angry over something so Hashimoto will never forgive Takeshita for it! The Sendai Girls team will get their title shot at Korakuen Hall on 21st March. When she left the ring, Makoto Oishi walked down to cash in his Gauntlet only to be told he can’t do it until tomorrow. Yuki Iino then performed a Haka inside the ring as a warning to Hashimoto.
The descent of Daisuke Sasaki is getting noticeable. First he loses the KO-D Title then on the next show he gets pinned by MAO. Sasaki now fears that his career his approaching its end. But before it’s time to call it a day and flee the country he asked MAO for a favour. “Uncle Sasaki” asked MAO & Mike Bailey for a KO-D Tag Team Titles Match so he could have one last happy memory in Japan before he quits wrestling. Soma Takao will be Sasaki’s partner. The Moonlight Express accepted and the match will happen on 21/3.
Jason Kincaid finishes his latest tour with DDT with a win. Antonio Honda hopes Gon Gift can continue to team together if Kincaid ever returns. This tour was a chance for the team to develop together. Next time they can aim for higher targets like matching red and white gear, a tag team championship shot and forming a folk duo musical act together.
Before the show began, Shuten-dōji held a press conference to give a few announcements about their future. On the 17th April at the end of their self-produced show in Shinjuku FACE, Shuten-dōji will be coming to an end. KUDO is planning to take a break from pro wrestling in order to give his body much needed rest. This month will mark be KUDO’s twentieth year in combat sports, he begun with kickboxing before transitioning over to pro wrestling. He does not know how long he will stay out of action for. With KUDO taking a break, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi agreed that Shuten-dōji could only work with the three of them together so the unit will go away. at least for now. To mark their last show together, the 17/4 main event will feature Sakaguchi Vs Takanashi as the main event. KUDO will team with HARASHIMA to face The Suicide Boyz of MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba in a special throwback match for longtime DDT fans.
Nobuhiro Shimatani will return to action on 21st March.
DDT will be holding a Falls Count Anywhere match inside AbemaTV headquarters on 29th March.
