Super Sasadango Machine attempted to crash another NOAH show this week to hold negotiations with Takashi Sugiura and Kazushi Sakuraba. He was stopped at the entrance again but this time purchased a ticket to be allowed into the show. Unfortunately he was told by a staff member that neither Sugiura or Sakuraba were present. Sasadango explained to him that he brought gifts for Sugiura and Sakuraba and asked for them to be passed along. Sugiura is getting sasadango dumplings while Sakuraba is getting medicine for his pollen allergies.

X in the Tokyo Joshi Pro opener is still a mystery. YUMI’s big news over the weekend is she’s entering the idol industry as part of a new group called Tokyo Survivor. So that’s her completely out of wrestling now.

January was supposed to be the return match for Masahiro Takanashi after being out of action with knee injuries. However he cancelled his self-produced show due to the pandemic. After months of waiting he finally decided to go ahead with the show and is setting it up for this July. Takanashi’s scheduled opponent hasn’t changed. It’s Fuminori Abe, the man he last fought when his injury happened. This year Takanashi has done an exhibition match and has shown up on some wrestling shows here and there but he hasn’t been in a proper wrestling match since March 2020 where his injury took place.

Also on the show are Chris Brookes, Yukio Sakaguchi, Isami Kodaka, Emi Sakura and the UMA Corps. More are expected to appear.

Unless they cross paths at “TJPW PPV SHOW 4” next week, today was the last preview of Miyu Yamashita Vs Yuka Sakazaki before the “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021”. Here, Maki Itoh did her job to cut off Sakazaki so Yamashita could get the pin on Pom Harajuku. After the match Itoh told the fans that Tokyo Joshi Pro will stand out more against DDT, NOAH and Ganbare☆Pro at Saitama Super Arena.

Raku spent the beginning of her match hiding from Yuki Kamifuku, sneaking under the ring and behind the referee to keep out of her opponent’s sight. Kamifuku later used her own version of the Good Night Express to get her own back on Raku.

It was announced that the next “TJPW INSPIRATION” event on 1st July will be headlined by Miyu Yamashita Vs Mirai Maiumi in a UWF Rules match.

The night time show concluded with Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino beating Miu Watanabe & Suzume then thanking the fans for attending. They were amazed to see many in the audience attended both shows today. They repeated the earlier point that TJPW will be second to none at Saitama Super Arena!

Sayuri Namba had to explain the special rules for Hyper Misao Vs Nodoka Tenma. They took part in three matches. The first match had Two Count Fall rules. When somebody won with a Two Count they then had to play charades with Daisuke Kiso. If Kiso guessed their gesture correctly then the woman wins the match. Misao tried to do “Pudding” but Kiso guessed wrong. Tenma had to do “Octopus” but Kiso got it right, so Tenma got the point. The second game had the same Two Count Fall but then the winner had to correctly answer a question about TJPW. Tenma was asked where did Rika Tatsumi’s debut match take place? She knew it was in Shibuya but couldn’t remember the name of the building. Misao then got a pin and correctly answered Shibuya Entertainment Stage to even the score. The final fall had both women drink a glass of vinegar then wrestle under 1 Count Rules. Misao won the round and the match with La Magistral Cradle.

Shoko Nakajima and Rika Tatsumi were revealed as the captains for the two teams competing in “TJPW PPV SHOW 4” next week. Nakajima doesn’t understand how the Summer Vs Winter theme is any different from the Red Vs White concept from the previous PPV. Tatsumi is upset that Mizuki is not on her team.

Something to keep an eye on is YUMI’s Twitter account suddenly becoming active again. The former TJPW wrestler graduated from the company last July to focus on her education. This week she suddenly started tweeting daily, counting down the days “until the beginning of history”. The countdown ends this weekend but not exactly towards the TJPW shows. The reveal may turn out to be something other than a return to TJPW or even pro wrestling so we just have to wait and see.

The contracts have been signed for the three championship matches. The match order was decided by measuring the career achievements of the three current champions. That means the GHC Heavyweight Title match will be the last match on the show, the KO-D Openweight Title match will be before the GHC match and the Princess Of Princess Title match will be before the KO-D match.

Super Sasadango Machine tried to invade the NOAH show at Korakuen Hall on Saturday to negotiate who he will fight at Saitama Super Arena. Unfortunately he doesn’t understand how wrestlers are able to crash other companies and couldn’t get past the entrance because he had no ticket for the show.

Now comes the tough job, beating NEO Biishiki-gun. They did it once before in February but NEO Biishiki-gun got their win back in the Max Heart Tournament final a month later. Time for the rubber match!

Now 20 years old, Marika Kobashi is challenging for her first singles title to prove she has grown up. There is some jealousy behind the move because she didn’t like seeing Hikari Noa win the IP Title before she did.

TJPW Doubleheader Suddenly Announced, Full CyberFight Festival Card, Ganpro Mixed Tournament Reactivated

Not a day’s rest without posting an update. Tokyo Joshi Pro will be holding events on 22nd May after all. Their original Azalea Taisho Hall in Osaka event has been pushed back to June and a doubleheader at Oji BASEMENT MON☆STAR in Tokyo takes its place. The roster will be split in half with twelve wrestlers booked for the afternoon show and the other twelve competing in the evening show. However Arisu Endo and Moka Miyamoto will be on both shows. They are the only wrestlers working double duty that day. Gotta get them extra reps in.

It’s been decided that the complete “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” show will contain 14 matches. That’s 3 matches in the STARTING BATTLE pre-show and 11 matches on the main card. The last addition is Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine throwing out a challenge to a NOAH team. Sasadango wants Takashi Sugiura and Sugiura-gun in particular for a battle between two very different pro wrestling philosophies. Dieno doesn’t like that idea but is getting dragged into it anyway.

3. CHOICE & CHANCE Rules: Nao Kakuta defeated Hyper Misao with a School Boy (7:57).
4. Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Shoko Nakajima & Haruna Neko when Sakazaki pinned Neko with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster (13:44).
5. Hikari Noa, Raku & Pom Harajuku defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Yuki Aino & Mahiro Kiryu when Noa pinned Kiryu with the Blizzard Suplex (10:44).
6. Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe defeated Miyu Yamashita & Marika Kobashi when Tatsumi submitted Kobashi with the White Dragon Sleeper (12:27).

Rika Tatsumi got the better of Miyu Yamashita in their final warm up match before Tuesday’s Princess Of Princess Title bout. The final moments of the main event saw Tatsumi and Marika Kobashi as the legal wrestlers. Yamashita attacked Miu Watanabe for cutting off Kobashi’s Guillotine Choke. Tatsumi then got her hands on Yamashita and gave her the Twist Of Fate hanging through the ropes onto the apron. From there Tatsumi put Kobashi in a Dragon Sleeper and turned it into the White Dragon variation for the submission victory. Tatsumi told the fans watching at home she will fight to blow away everyone’s loneliness, so please support her. Yamashita was only able to get one kick in against the champion and now has a damaged neck going into the title match.

At the beginning of the show, Yuki Kamifuku entered the ring after the Up Up Girls opening performance. She threw insults at Hikari Noa, calling her a super unmotivated fake idol. Then she said she would be the better “Blue” member of the Up Up Girls. Noa didn’t want to argue with her so she left the ring with the rest of the unit. Kamifuku then sang “Startin'” by Ayumi Hamasaki in the ring by herself. Noa’s team beat Kamifuku’s team later in the show and Noa offered her a handshake after the match. Kamifuku didn’t respond and left the ring.

The Magical Sugar Rabbits tortured Shoko Nakajima & Haruna Neko by constantly pulling on their tails and tying them together. A crack then appeared in their teamwork when Sakazaki’s Sliding Lariat to Nakajima missed and hit Mizuki instead. Magirabi still won the match and Sakazaki apologized to her partner afterwards. Mizuki pulled a rude face at Sakazaki and left the ring without her.

The match between Hyper Misao and Nao Kakuta was held under CHOICE & CHANCE Rules. A button was placed on one of the turnbuckles. Whenever it was pressed the song “CHOICE & CHANCE” by Juice=Juice would play over the speakers. The match could then be won with 2 Count pinfalls whenever the song was playing. Misao came up with the special because she and Kakuta both debuted in 2015 and both had ACL injuries.

1. Baseball Fist Rules: Masato Kamino defeated Takato Nakano When Nakano could not take off any more clothing (12:51).
2. Minoru Fujita defeated Daiki Shimomura with the Modified Samson Clutch (9:19).
3. Ryota Nakatsu defeated SAGAT with the Crescent Moon (12:51).
4. Fuminori Abe, Takumi Tsukamoto & Kohei Sato defeated FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & Daichi Kazato when Tsukamoto pinned Kazato with the Zudon (15:15).
5. Jacket Battle Royal: Takato Nakano defeated Fuminori Abe by Ring Out (R4 0:05).
Other Entrants: Daichi Kazato, Masato Kamino, Yusuke Kubo, SAGAT, Daiki Shimomura, Takumi Tsukamoto, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Ryota Nakatsu and FUMA.

Kohei Sato was the mystery wrestler in Match #4.

The rule for Match #1 was a wrestler had to remove a piece of clothing every time they were pinned. Takato Nakano had to give up when he felt he couldn’t remove any more clothes without humiliating himself.
