2. 3 Way Tag Match: MAO & Asuka defeated Soma Takao & Nobuhiro Shimatani and Antonio Honda & Ricky Starks when MAO pinned Shimatani after a German Suplex & Jackknife Pin Combo (8:56).
3. Mike Bailey defeated Shunma Katsumata with the Ultima Weapon (11:46).
4. Naomi Yoshimura defeated Mike Rollins with the Shonenba (9:57).
5. Keisuke Okuda Marunage Match: Kota Umeda & Keisuke Okuda defeated Magnitude Kishiawada & Yuki Iino when Okuda pinned Iino with a Buzzsaw Kick (11:20).
6. DISASTER BOX Vs Shuten-dōji!: Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi defeated HARASHIMA & Yuki Iino when Sakaguchi pinned Iino with the God’s Right Knee (13:32).
7. I Love It! Osaka Specialty Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Makoto Oishi when Endo submitted Oishi with the Modified Yurikamome Hold (17:56).

Tetsuya Endo looks like he is getting what he wants from Makoto Oishi. That is an easy opponent he can beat all the time. Endo made Oishi submit to the Yurikamome Hold then taunted him for “wrestling with his head”. Endo says pro wrestling is the opposite, it is using everything except your head! He reminded everyone that there are two types of people in the world, losers and the KO-D Openweight Champion Tetsuya Endo!

Mad Paulie continues to require reading hentai novels in order to keep calm during matches.

Keisuke Okuda thanked Magnitude Kishiwada for taking part in his Marunage match. Since Okuda will be a freelancer starting in May, he would like to have another match with Kishiwada anywhere in Osaka.

The most horrible alliance in DDT has been created. Kazuki Hirata & Maku Donaruto are now a tag team! They along with Toru Owashi were able to beat Sanshiro Takagi, Mizuki Watase & Yuni even when Yuni demanded the match to be held under Lucha Libre rules. Donaruto hit the McShake Bomb on Watase then Hirata hit the newly named GO! GO! Splash for the three count. After the match Hirata wanted to know something about Donaruto. Back when Hirata was living in Kobe, he shared a one room apartment with a weird person for 6 months. Was that person Donaruto before he transformed into what he is now? Hirata is happy to be reunited with that guy buy he hates being vulgar. Donaruto told Hirata that they shared a dream together in that dirty room. They can make that dream come true by winning the KO-D Tag Team Titles! Also Donaruto bought 100 tickets for the DDT “WRESTLE MATSUYAMANIA” show in June that he can sell to people if they team together. He’s already sold 15 of them. Takagi promised the two will get their tag title match on 2nd June if they are able to sell the remaining tickets before then.

It was announced that the Kuishinbo Kamen Vs Kikutaro match scheduled for Yukinori Matsui’s 25th Anniversary show in May has been cancelled because Kamen is injured. Antonio Honda offered to take Kamen’s place and be Kikutaro’s new opponent. For him that match is more valuable than money or health.

Naomi Yoshimura was supposed to be on the show but family circumstances are preventing him from coming this weekend. He will be back in the ring wrestling again on the 14th.

I missed this but on 2nd April DDT announced that Keisuke Okuda will resign from the company at the end of the month and become a freelancer. His contract with DDT was originally just a one year contract but it turned out to be the shortest contract in the company’s history. Okuda is grateful for the opportunities DDT gave to him when he left IGF last year and he’s been a fan of the company since he was in junior high but he wants to move his career in a different direction and go on a new adventure. Okuda wants his big match before he leaves to be against Yukio Sakaguchi.

“Absolute” Ricky Starks is from Louisiana, USA and has been wrestling since 2012. Mike Rollins is from Ontario, Canada and has been wrestling since 2007. Rollins is normally a mild person but during matches he can switch personalities and turn into a mad man named “Psycho” Mike.

The current Right To Challenge Gauntlet holders are Kazuki Hirata (blue) and Keisuke Ishii (yellow).

DDT has been so pleased by the wrestler booked show on 4th April that they want to adapt the concept on its upcoming shows in April and May. Each show will have a “Marunage” match booked by a chosen wrestler and so far the results are unlike anything we would see from DDT’s regular matchmaking.

Konosuke Takeshita kicks off the Marunage series with a match involving local wrestlers from Tottori Darazu Pro. The group began working with DDT last year with Lowther wrestling on shows whenever DDT went to Yonago. Takeshita wanted to put together a unique dream match between the two groups that DDT would have never booked otherwise. Yuki Ueno is also involved as a challenge to catch up with Takeshita.

Asuka and Lowther will also be on the show.

Saki Akai wants DDT to continue to bring in women from other promotions so she can wrestle against them and also to mix it up with the men. Her rivalry with Yoshiko is coming back with this match. Akai also wanted to put Yukio Sakaguchi in the ring against Okuda. The two men haven’t been seeing eye to eye lately.

Hiroshi Yamato, Asuka and Shunsuke Sayama will all be on the show.

Normally HARASHIMA is not into feuds or matches where one generation is pitted against another. But given the current state of DDT he thinks a 5 Vs 5 Elimination match between the veterans and the current gen would be interesting to do.

The Sendai Girls want to make it known that they are the best trios team out there regardless of gender. Saki Akai is the first person to challenge them. The only problem is she doesn’t have a team. Normally she could rely on Shuten-dōji to help out but that unit will be gone by the time this show takes place. If Akai cannot find a team before the show takes place then she will lose her title shot. Meiko Satomura wants the match to happen because she thinks she can bring out the best in Akai that’s never seen before.

The rest of the card will be decided once Dieno comes up with his match. That way DDT will know who they can use.
