4. Hardcore Tag Match: Gunso & Naoki Tanizaki defeated Isami Kodaka & SAGAT when Gunso pinned SAGAT with the Diving Guillotine Drop from the Ladder (18:31).
5. Double ★ Trans-Am Vs Cavalry!: Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Ryuichi Sekine & Ryota Nakatsu when Ryuichi pinned Sekine with the Perfect Five (15:40).

As the ride to Korakuen Hall nears its end, BASARA had one more show to get past before the big event. The Trans-Am ★ Family were victorious over Cavalry with one Ryuichi pinning another. Ryota Nakatsu called Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi a strong wrestler but then claimed he knew his real identity. Nakatsu accused him of being Ryuichi Kawakami from Big Japan! Ryuichi denied the accusation but Nakatsu told him he didn’t care either way. When Nakatsu said he wants nothing more than the Union MAX Title, Ryuichi cut him off and said he loves the belt more.

Dove Pro Wrestling scored a big win over BASARA in a Hardcore Tag Match. Gunso’s impressive win streak in BASARA continues to grow while Naoki Tanizaki was happy to finally get his hands on Isami Kodaka. Tanizaki and Kodaka will fight again on 4th May.

Both Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama weren’t in the mood to compete in their warm up match for Korakuen Hall later this month. Neither of them had anything prepared for the bout. Kodaka, Best Stretchman V3 and Tatsuhiko Yoshino all had to motivate them into wrestling each other. The match only ended with a winner when the referee accidentally knocked over Maruyama and pushed Ryu on top of him. Gouma and Maruyama explained afterwards that they just cannot be motivated to wrestle if a criminal trial is not attached to it.

The Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament returns later this year. Kodaka is putting 500,000 yen of his own pocket money into the prize pot. The tournament begins on 4th May and lasts until 5th July.

Daisuke Sasaki has taken a liking to DAMNATION’s newest ally Heidi Katrina. The British wrestler appeared unexpectedly at DAMNATION’s self produced show over the weekend and dominated her opponent Nobuhiro Shimatani. Since then she revealed her goal in Japan is to defeat DDT’s top female wrestler Saki Akai. Sasaki is trying to keep his cool around Katrina but cracks began to show during a press conference. He told Amon Tsurumi to shut up when he was asked if he was going to propose to Katrina like he did to Candice LeRae. He then got angry at Guanchulo for translating the questions and answers for Katrina. He took over the task by himself. When Katrina described him as a “wild, strong and exciting” Sasaki translated it into “very kind, very strong and a lovely man” who she wants to marry. The conference then got physical when Masahiro Takanashi criticised Sasaki’s inappropriate translations. Katrina grabbed Takanashi by the jaw and threatened to hurt him until Akai shoved her back.

The winner of the 5 Way Match gets a DDT Extreme Title shot on 21st May.

Danshoku Dino held a Coming Out party for Royce Isaacs at the Cholesterol Bar in Shinjuku earlier today. Isaacs explained that when he used the Lip Lock on Antonio Honda during their match at the weekend he felt comfortable with the action. Although he worked hard in America he was never happy with the situation he was in. But when he came to Japan and met Dino he was convinced to come out as gay. Dino explained that he saw the gay wrestler in Isaacs and felt a little outraged that Isaacs was holding it back. So to help him out he brought him to this bar and asked the owner Mr. Takuya if Isaacs can become accepted as a gay wrestler. Takuya said of course he would, he can even reach high enough to be No. 1! Isaacs said that even though he currently holds a Right To Challenge contract, he knows that everyone is more interested in his “Miracle Ass”. He then showed some examples of what he is talking about by using his ass to cut a banana in half, open a bottle of champagne and cook raw eggs. Dino, Takuya and Amon Tsurumi tasted each of the food and were delighted by the taste! Isaacs said everyone will get to see the Miracle Ass in action before he cashes in his RTC contract.

Ryota Nakatsu sent a message to Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi after the main event. Nakatsu said he is gaining confidence and in good shape but he didn’t get what he wanted today because Ryuichi wasn’t here. He wondered if Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi is related to Ryuichi Kawakami because he saw Kawakami carrying the Union MAX Title at a Big Japan show earlier in the week. No matter, Nakatsu will take the title from whichever Ryuichi at Korakuen Hall instead.

Nobody got a bigger hero’s welcome on this show than Best Stretchman V3. His entrance had loads of streamers and plenty of people cheering for him. His opponent Isami Kodaka couldn’t help but say how funny the situation was. The two traded stretching submission holds until Kodaka caught Stretchman with the European Clutch for the win. It was at that point when Stretchman discovered that you will lose a wrestling match by having your shoulders pinned down for three seconds. He thanked “Hardcore Samurai” for a great learning experience and now he understands the rules of pro wrestling.

Gunso’s dominance in BASARA Hardcore Matches continued with a big victory over Takumi Tsukamoto. Gunso ambushed him before the match then fought back and forth with chairs and a ladder. Tsukamoto tried to hit the Tiger Suplex but Gunso countered it into a School Boy for a nearfall. When Tsukamoto kicked out Gunso turned the move into a Jorge Clutch and this time got the three count.

PSYCHO was put on trial accused of using multiple identities to exploit promotions out of their fight money. PSYCHO would allegedly disguise himself as mute wrestlers even though he can plainly speak. His opening comments simply involved him mumbling about baseball. Gouma Ryu’s defence was PSYCHO cannot wrestle because he is an ordinary man and ordinary men do not wrestle. Konaka = Pehlwan objected and called Ryu an ordinary man who wrestles. Ryuichi Sekine and Isami Kodaka were brought in as witnesses. Kodaka accused PSYCHO of attempting to murder him with a Choke Slam one time in K-DOJO. When Ryu heard this he refused to defend PSYCHO any further. This led to PSYCHO attacking both Ryu and Konaka and he pinned both of them with the High Fly Bomb. The judge declared PSYCHO was Not Guilty.

The newest member of the Trans-Am unit did not make a good first impression. Trans-Am ★ Abe came out wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket, acting like he was The Rock. The leather jacket turned out to be his downfall because it would not come off properly when he gestured for the People’s Elbow. He bungled the move and missed, allowing IRON PRIEST to put him away. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi yelled “You’re Fired!” at Abe after the match. Abe begged for one more chance. Hiroshi offered to give him one but only if Abe kisses his ass. Abe abandoned his pride and kissed Hiroshi’s ass but was then given the Stunner. Hiroshi then announced that Trans-Am ★ Tanaka will debut as the group’s newest member on 29th April.

There is a new rookie in BASARA who is ready to make his debut. Takato Nakano introduced himself at the beginning of the show. Nakano is 22 years old and describes himself as not the dexterous type. He was surprised when Isami Kodaka entered the ring and announced he will be Nakano’s opponent for his debut match on 29th April.

Iron Man Title In Orlando, Right To Challenge Changes, Double Sweet Death Match

This past week in Orlando, the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title went through a series of title changes all around the city. There were many pro wrestling shows held throughout Orlando and the Iron Man Title was seen in several of them. The first title change happened on 30th March when Joey Ryan lost the title to Brandi Rhodes on a WrestlePro show. The show promoter Pat Buck then won the title backstage later in the night. Buck was later pinned by Ryan. So far, so good.

The next day Ryan defended the title in an Over The Top Rope Battle Royal at the WrestleCon Super Show. Ryan was pinned by The Underground Luchador who afterwards revealed himself to be Matt Striker. Ryan, who wasn’t eliminated because it was Over The Top Rope rules only, threw Striker out of the ring to eliminate him and win back the belt. The match ended with Swoggle eliminating Ryan to become champion. Ryan quickly won the belt back but his celebration was then interrupted by The Sandman! One Singapore Cane beating later and The Sandman is champ. Later backstage Swoggle snuck up on a sleeping Sandman and pinned him, then Joey did the same to Swoggle. So at the end of the night, Joey had the belt. Got it? Because it’s going to get a bit more hectic.

Many more changes happened on April Fool’s Day. First, a match between Joey and The Primate at What Culture Pro Wrestling was interrupted by Jack The Jobber pinning Joey to win the title. Joey won the belt back but then lost it to Joe Hendry. However, Hendry declared that he hates comedy wrestling so he threw the belt into a trash bin. An official decision was made to declare the Trash Bin as the new champion! Jack The Jobber pinned the Bin, Joey pinned Jack and then ran off to the WrestleCon Women’s Super Show. While there, Shayna Baszler submitted Joey with an Armbar. Eddie Kingston stole the belt backstage. He was declared the champion when Baszler gave up searching for the belt. Kingston then traded the belt to Joey for some cigarettes.

Sunday was a quiet day in comparison. With all the attention on WrestleMania, there weren’t as many shows being held elsewhere in the city. But in the early hours of the morning Beyond Wrestling was running a midnight show. Joey Ryan was pinned by Joey Janela in a Mixed Tag Match. When the show was over Janela was ambushed by The Invisible Man! So right now at the time of writing, The Invisible Man is your Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion!

Also if Ohka wants to be a strong champion he needs to defend the belt against strong challengers so he’s giving Maruyama the home field advantage by holding the title match in Osaka!

Both Isami Kodaka and Minoru Tanaka were pleased with their match. Kodaka said he looks up to Tanaka and is looking forward to more matches with him because today wasn’t enough.

Dick Togo laughed when Ryuichi Sekine demanded a rematch so they could fight over and over and over. Meanwhile Ryota Nakatsu was holding his stomach still feeling the effects of the Diving Senton.

Gunso and his up-tempo music continues to rack up wins in BASARA. He beat up SAGAT with a chair, placed a ladder over him and then hit the Diving Guillotine Drop for the 3 count. Gunso says he has never lost in Dub Pro Wrestling. He and his buddy Kabuki Kid are Hardcore Craftsmen. SAGAT still has his eyes on Gunso though. He knows that Gunso eventually wants to face Kodaka but until then SAGAT will continue to chase after him.

Yusuke Kubo is offended by Shinya Ishida’s recent transformation into an American wrestler. He asked Shinya if he “abandoned the heart of the Japanese” while they wrestled each other. Shinya lured FUMA out of the ring while Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi hit Kubo with the Perfect Plex to win. FUMA, well, was fuming over the result and is annoyed with the Trans-Am team. He thinks they are all similarly named bastards with no personalities. They don’t even know about the Bay Area slash metal scene from the 1980s like he does!

Fuminori Abe was accused of being a fraudulent priest conning people out of money. Abe, who is allegedly a qualified monk, entered the ring for his trial wearing his monk clothing. Ryota Nakatsu and Ryuichi Sekine were called down as witnesses and asked to explain Abe’s method of conning people. Abe then exposed Sekine’s secret that he likes to spend his private time going to a pervert club where he can touch boobs. Sekine was especially embarrassed by the accusation because they were being watched live on DDT UNIVERSE. The All Japan balance was brought up and it ended up with Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama arguing with each other. They then turned to Abe, convinced he had cash that didn’t belong to him. Abe knocked both of them out and laid on top of both of them in a praying position for the double pin. He was declared Not Guilty afterwards.

Daichi Kazato is really getting into his stretching regime. So much so that he is going to become reborn on as the “Best Stretchman” on 23rd March.

A windy and chilly day didn’t stop Tokyo Joshi Pro from returning to Kanagawa Yokodai Station for their second annual outdoor doubleshot shows. Prizes were given to the winners by the sponsors. For example Miyu Yamashita and Mil Clown were given a box of apples and potatoes for winning the main event.

Isami Kodaka wrestled in his Son Goku costume on both shows. It got over with the kids in the audience and some shouted “Goku, do your best!” at him. He hit Yusuke Kubo with the Kamehameha and then summoned a Spirit Bomb for his Diving Double Knee Drop.

FUMA made his entrances on a motorbike.

Nonoko explained to the audience that her chest is so big because she absorbs children to gain power. Children like Nodoka-oneesan. Fortunately, Nodoka was able to beat her and protect the children in the crowd from being eaten.

Marika Kobashi announced she passed her recent high school exams. She is still focusing on her education so wasn’t able to wrestle but she stuck around for the event to show her support.

As night fell the girls held their second show. Yuu was here this time and got the pin in the main event. She hopes that the next time Toyko Joshi comes to Kanagawa Station it will be even bigger and bigger.

FUMA and Yusuke Kubo were involved in a battle of IRON PRIEST. FUMA came out on top but both he and Kubo praised each other and left the ring together on FUMA’s motorcycle.

Kodaka and SAGAT immediately brawled outside the ring and both were counted out. A rematch was granted when the audience called for a restart. The tail on Kodaka’s Goku costume turned out to be his weak point. SAGAT targeted the tail by biting and pulling it. Kodaka dodged the Goregrind and rolled SAGAT into a Cradle for the three count.

Rika Tatsumi is now using a Running Hip Attack called the Running Angel Attack to win matches.

Azusa Takigawa had to explain the concept of marriage to Mil Clown. Apparently marriage doesn’t exist in the Magical Country.

SAGAT and Yuya Okada spent time before the show explaining the rules of pro wrestling to anyone in the audience who was watching for the first time. SAGAT laid on the canvas and a trainee was called in to cover him as an example of a pinfall. He then put SAGAT in a Sleeper Hold to show off a submission move. SAGAT ended up getting angry and he bit Okada. In return Okada pulled SAGAT’s hair until SAGAT backed off. Okada was able to use that as an example of fouls and disqualifications.
