MAO said he is honored to be competing for the KO-D Openweight Title less than 5 years into his pro wrestling career. Masato Tanaka has been wrestling since before MAO was born. MAO saw him for the first time on TV Asahi’s “World Pro Wrestling” television program back in 2010. He thinks Tanaka is one of the people who made him dream of becoming a pro wrestler so this will be a very special match. Also MAO believes the core of DDT is now made up of the DNA generation with Konosuke Takeshita and Tetsuya Endo right in the centre. Winning the KO-D Title will make MAO join the centre. Tanaka wants MAO to deliver his strange brand of wrestling because he does not want to lose against that style.

The #STRONGHEARTS return to continue their business partnership with DAMNATION. They face ALL OUT with their honorary member Chihiro Hashimoto in an Elimination Tag match. Hopefully Yuki Iino has gotten over his problems with Hashimoto. Also Shunma Katsumata is back from his minor surgery. Elsewhere CIMA teams up with Soma Takao, who used to wrestle as BIMA in his college club days.

2. 3 Way Match: Rika Tatsumi defeated Yuki Kamifuku and Suzume when Tatsumi pinned Suzume with the Twist Of Fate (9:16).
3. Natsumi Maki defeated Pom Harajuku with the Backlash (7:23).
4. Maki Itoh defeated Raku with the Itoh Deluxe (9:07).
5. Miyu Yamashita & Yuna Manase defeated Miu Watanabe & Mirai Maiumi when Yamashita pinned Maiumi with a Backward Kick (7:59).
6. Goodbye Akemi ~ Setsubun Death Mask Of ONI Match: Shoko Nakajima defeated Akemi Daredasore with the Northern Lights Suplex (8:30).
7. Lana Austin, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Mina Shirakawa when Austin pinned Shirakawa with the Hangman DDT (13:59).

The Tokyo Joshi Pro debut of Lana Austin is off to a good start. She pinned Mina Shirakawa in the main event after a Headbutt followed by the Hangman DDT off the ropes. After the match Yuka Sakazaki called Austin into the ring and asked if she wants the Princess Of Princess Title. She pulled the belt away from Austin, asked for a handshake then tried to bite Austin’s hand as a prank.

For Akemi Daredasore’s final match under her current gimmick, she came up with a stipulation that would also get rid of any evil spirits that might have possessed herself and Shoko Nakajima. Why else would Nakajima have given her such a bad ring name to use over the last 30 days? This way Daredasore will return to being Hyper Misao with a completely refreshed spirit. The Setsubun Death Mask Of ONI Match could only be won if a wrestler wore an Oni mask while pinning or submitting their opponent. Also setsubun beans were allowed to be used as weapons. Daredasore chased Nakajima out of the room by throwing the beans at her, then locked the door to trap “the demon” outside. Nakajima was able to get back into the ring, withstand more of Daredasore’s cheating and win the match.

Maki Itoh has figured out why Raku can never win her matches. She has no purpose as a pro wrestler. Itoh has a purpose because when she wins matches, she inspires the fans to go back to their jobs and work even harder even if they hate their jobs so much that they want to die. She asked Raku what her purpose is? Raku said she wants to be like Itoh. She loses so much that she wants to win. Itoh’s advice to Raku is to stop simply wanting to win and start actually winning.

Thunder Rosa will return to Tokyo Joshi in March. Her current dates are the 1st and 8th of March. No word yet on if she will defend the International Princess Title but a challenger will certainly pop up.

She should go back to normal on the show after this but who knows with her. Misao might end up finding another way to change her gimmick again. Shoko Nakajima helped bring Daredasore to life so it’s only fitting for her to say goodbye.

The next challenge Saki Akai will face in the Okibariyasu series is Miranda Gordy, the daughter of Terry Gordy! Miranda began wrestling in the American indies last year and is touring Japan in February as part of Tokyo Championship Wrestling. She sent a video to the DDT office explaining that she and Akai share something in common. Akai’s dad was a great boxer and Gordy’s dad was a great wrestler. But Miranda thinks she is a better wrestler than Akai and will crush her in the ring to prove it. Akai understands it is important to be proud of her father’s blood but they will be fighting each other regardless of their second generation status. Akai has been nicknamed “The Rocky Of Naniwa II” because of her family connection but when she finishes the series, she wants to have earned a new nickname for herself.

8. Osaka Sannin Matsuri – Final: Yuna Manase, Yuki Kamifuku & Mina Shirakawa defeated Shoko Nakajima, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino when Kamifuku pinned Aino with the Fame Asser (9:15).

Cat’s Pye are the last trio standing, eliminating the Up Up Girls and the Tokyo Joshi Special Effects Club to win the Osaka Sannin Matsuri tournament. The crowning moment came when Yuki Kamifuku jumped off the 2nd rope for the first time to hit a Fame Asser on Yuki Aino. After today’s result, Yuna Manase next wants to win a championship. A shot for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles was suggested but Mina Shirakawa would rather see Tokyo Joshi Pro have their own trios championship with Cat’s Pye becoming the first holders.

Rika Tatsumi & Mizuki were not on the same page at all in their matches. In their first match, Mizuki angrily Dropkicked Tatsumi after Tatsumi accidentally broke up a Yuka Sakazaki pinfall. Then in the semi final there was a moment where the Magical Sugar Rabbits both climbed the same corner for a double team dive. Tatsumi got jealous, climbed the same turnbuckles and pushed Sakazaki off. Tatsumi then went for the Diving Missile Hip Attack but missed the target and hit Mizuki instead. Another misdirected Hip Attack to Mizuki led to Shoko Nakajima pinning her with the School Boy.

Miyu Yamashita would like to have a rematch with Natsumi Maki when Maki is back to her pre-injury form. She explained the difference between Maki today and Maki before her injury is not physically defined. It is a matter of feeling. She couldn’t sense much feelings from Maki in the ring today. Yamashita doesn’t want to fight people who are not motivated. Maki was also dissatisfied with today’s match. She wants to wrestle Yamashita again and continue having matches together until she beats her.

Dalys pinned Maki Itoh when Itoh missed the Flying Big Head.

Akemi Daredasore gifted La Jarochita with a good luck talisman before their match. Daisuke Kiso held signs written in Spanish so Jarochita could understand what Daredasore was talking about. It was all just a set up for Daredasore to ambush her. Jarochita dodged the I Am A Hero and won the match with the Blizzard Suplex.
