2. Playfulness Series Act 2: Danshoku Dieno defeated Gorgeous Matsuno with a Crucifix Pin (6:49).
3. Tetsuya Endo & Daisuke Sasaki defeated Antonio Honda & Keigo Nakamura when Sasaki pinned Nakamura with a School Boy (10:34).
4. DDT Sauna Club Stepping Together!: Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata, MAO & Yuki Ueno defeated HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi, Chris Brookes & Yukio Naya when Ueno pinned Naya with the BME (14:07).
5. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Akito, Kazuki Hirata & Shota defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai (c) when Shota pinned Akai with the Gannosuke Clutch (14:36).
*Eruption fails in V4. Young Communication Generation becomes the 42nd KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!

What a shocker, Eruption loses the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles to Young Communication Generation! The collective of Akito, Kazuki Hirata & Shota pulled off a gigantic upset in the main event. But it wasn’t from Hirata sneaking the pin on Yukio Sakaguchi like before. Instead Eruption looked like they had the match in the bag. Kazusada Higuchi was handling things until Akito pulled him out of the ring. Shota lured Saki Akai into throwing a strike then caught her hand and used the Gannosuke Clutch for the title change! Shota told the others he is glad he stepped into the ring at “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020” to make the challenge. Akito congratulated Shota for finally winning a DDT championship bringing up a talk they had after a match together years ago. Back then Shota told Akito he wanted to win all the prizes in DDT. He was surprised Akito remembered that. Hirata was still scared of how Sakaguchi would react to the result but still spoke on the microphone. His failed title shot at Korakuen Hall wasn’t the happy ending he wanted. But today the sequel gave him that happy ending! Even though the three of them are all in their thirties now, they want to reestablish the Young Communication brand of shows! Only 30 people attended their original shows but they think they can do 10 times that now.

The entire DDT Sauna Club got what they wanted, an 8-Man Tag for all of them to team together. They isolated Yukio Naya when Yuki Ueno caught him with a Dropkick. Konosuke Takeshita & MAO gave him a Double Brainbuster, Shunma Katsumata followed with the Stuka Splash and Yuki Ueno finished him with the BME. All of them interviewed each other to celebrate and credited the use of saunas for being at their highest level today. Backstage Takeshita, MAO & Ueno took a commemorative photo together. They then left when Katsumata joined in the pose.

Daisuke Sasaki had Keigo Nakamura beaten with the Cross Facelock when Antonio Honda entered the ring. He was meant to break the hold but he tripped on the ropes and hurt his knee. Still, Honda wanted to tell his Gongitsune story afterward and that made Sasaki drop his guard. Nakamura of all people got angry at Honda for interrupting his serious fight with Sasaki. He then asked to join DAMNATION so they could all gang up on Honda! There was a 3 on 1 beatdown until Honda hit them all with Gongitsune Eye Pokes. When Nakamura saw that Tetsuya Endo was weakened, he ended his alliance with DAMNATION and joined Honda again. They both went for Gongitsune Nipple Grabs but Sasaki ducked and they grabbed each other by mistake. Endo used a Swan Dive move on both of them to hurt their nipples even more and Sasaki pinned Nakamura with a School Boy.

It took Gorgeous Matsuno four tries at doing the Gorgeous Superstar Elbow. When he finally did the move correctly, Danshoku Dieno easily rolled him into a Crucifix Pin for the three count. After the match Matsuno said it doesn’t matter if he breaks his arms or legs, he has a reason to want the O-40 Title back. He then announced he will have a show in Fukushima celebrating his 60th birtday on 18th April. He needs to be the O-40 Champion again to make that show a success!

In the meeting between two Junretsu members, Makoto Oishi defeated Hideki Okatani. They praised each other for a good match afterward.

4. Tetsuya Endo & Ryuichi Sekine Vs Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei
5. Soma Takao Vs Yusuke Kubo
6. Daisuke Contra Daisuke: Daisuke Sasaki & Shuji Ishikawa Vs Yuko Miyamoto & Daisuke Sekimoto

The main event has an extra edge added to it. Daisuke Sasaki thinks there are too many people named Daisuke or Sasaki in pro wrestling. For his 15th Anniversary he wants to hunt down a Daisuke and take his name. So he demands Daisuke Sekimoto to put his name on the line in a Daisuke Contra Daisuke match! The loser loses his first name!

All is good and calm in DAMNATION again so the wrestlers Sasaki originally banished from the show are allowed come back in. It means Sasaki doesn’t have to work double duty anymore. Let Tetsuya Endo & Ryuichi Sekine worry about The Brahman Brothers now.

With MAO back in action the entire DDT Sauna Club can be together in the ring again. MAO wants this friend group to all team up together for a match.

Is Gorgeous Matsuno obsessed with the O-40 Title? He lost the championship to Toru Owashi last week and Danshoku Dieno came out to stand up for him. Instead Matsuno thought Dieno was trying to push him out of the O-40 Title picture so he could get the belt for himself. The two face off and whoever wins should have nobody stopping them from getting the next title shot.

Maybe the Sauna Club becomes a regular fixture? Yuki Ueno is without a unit, MAO and Shunma Katsumata are considering becoming a tag team again. Maybe merge it with ALL OUT? Being a VP must be stressful for Akito so a sauna trip can help him relax. It would do Yuki Iino some good too. Why stop there? Get DISASTER BOX involved. DAMNTION too. “MASAHIRO TAKANASHI BOX OFFICE YOPPARAI IS BACK”, 29/01/2021
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Masahiro Takanashi Vs Fuminori Abe

Today Masahiro Takanashi announced he will be coming back from his injury! He is holding a self-produced voluntary show on 29th January for his first match back since his ankle injury back in March. Fuminori Abe will be his opponent, the same man he lost the Union MAX Title to when the injury happened. Takanashi said this was always the match he wanted for his return. He made that decision the night he was injured.

Takanashi is not entirely out of the woods yet. Next March he is scheduled to get a plate surgically removed from his left knee and also a bolt from his right knee that he’s had for the last 10 years. He doesn’t know how much he will be able to wrestle after 29th January but if the condition of his knees are good then you will see him in DDT and ChocoPro. But for now he is only focused on his return match.

Wrestlers advertised to appear include Chris Brookes, Yukio Sakaguchi, Isami Kodaka, Yasu Urano, the UMA Corps and members of Gatoh Move.

*Gorgeous Matsuno fails in V3. Toru Owashi becomes the 3rd O-40 Champion!
3. Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata defeated HARASHIMA & Keigo Nakamura when Katsumata pinned Nakamura with the Stuka Splash (13:23).
4. DAMNATION Vs Junretsu: Tetsuya Endo, Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie defeated Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi, Mizuki Watase & Hideki Okatani when Endo submitted Okatani with the Yurikamome (10:30).
5. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Yuki Ueno (c) defeated MAO with the WR (13:13).
*V1 for Yuki Ueno.

The DDT Sauna Club watched on as members Yuki Ueno and MAO faced off with the DDT UNIVERSAL Title on the line. At “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020” Ueno felt he was at his physical best but today he struggled to keep up with MAO. He nabbed the victory by countering a Hurricanrana into a Backbreaker then flipping him over with the WR. Ueno said he is glad that MAO came back in better condition than ever. MAO thanked everyone for supporting DDT while he was absent, both from wrestling in the UK and recovering from an injury. The Sauna Club got together in the ring and Ueno told them he wants them all to team together at the next DDT TV SHOW. They can all go to the sauna and talk about it.

In the aftermath of “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020” we now have Tetsuya Endo and Jun Akiyama setting their sights on each other. Endo holding up the KO-D Openweight Title up to Akiyama’s face would set off something like that. Endo did it again after DAMNATION beat Junretsu. Backstage Akiyama talked about wrestling Endo once before back in 2016. He wants knows Endo is a different person now, a champion. He swore to beat him at the D-Ou Grand Prix on 22nd November. Endo could immediately tell the atmosphere was different today because Akiyama was in the ring. He thinks their D-Ou match will be interesting. Daisuke Sasaki forgot to bring the DAMNATION signboard.

The other two members of the DDT Sauna Club had a good time teaming up today. I mean they’re also ALL OUT members so of course they have good teamwork. Konosuke Takeshita worked over Keigo Nakamura until HARASHIMA could tag in. Shunma Katsumata was in danger when HARASHIMA gave him an Avalanche Brainbuster. Nakamura followed up with a Swan Dive Dropkick but only got a nearfall. Katsumata recovered with a Casadora Foot Stomp and hit the Stuka Splash for the 3 count.

For the first time since January, the O-40 Title was defended. Gorgeous Matsuno couldn’t leave a scratch on Toru Owashi so he came up with a plan. Since there were no fans in the room, Owashi could instead promote his merchandise to the fans watching at home. Matsuno then attacked Owashi when he was distracted. He tried to roll him up with a School Boy but Owashi turned it into La Magistral Cradle to win the title.

Danshoku Dieno entered the ring after the match. He was furious to see Matsuno lose the title after he defended it against Dieno back in January. Matsuno put all of his effort into defend the title all year and Owashi showed him no respect for it. Owashi pointed out that Matsuno hasn’t wrestled in months let alone defended the belt. Dieno said Matsuno is obsessed with the O-40 Title. Matsuno asked if Dieno wants the title because he won’t let him have it! He’s not going to let anyone take his precious treasure from him so he demanded a rematch! A confused Owashi exited the ring wanting none of what was going on. Matsuno then turned to Dieno and challenged him to a match before he goes after the championship again.

Yukio Naya has now been in DDT for a year and a half. He was curious to find out if the Danshoku wrestling style really works. He went into his match with Dieno determined not to react to the Danshoku moveset. It looked like he would succeed at first but eventually everything took its toll. He left his guard open for the Lip Lock and Dieno rolled him into a pin from there. After the match Naya simply told Dieno “It’s not bad” and left the ring.

4. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs MAO
5. O-40 Title: Gorgeous Matsuno (c) Vs Toru Owashi

The next episode of DDT TV SHOW will be on Sunday this week because “WRESTLE PRINCESS” is happening on Saturday.

DAMNATION is one big happy family again. Daisuke Sasaki is back in the group but according to Tetsuya Endo he has been relegated to signboard holder status. Jun Akiyama is moving on from his feud with Konosuke Takeshita in order to experience the rest that DDT has to offer. He has a few DAMNATION opponents in his D-Ou Grand Prix block so he’s getting a taste of what to expect from them here.

Sanshiro Takagi will not be on the show because his DDT Extreme Title defences will be exclusive to DDT’s Youtube channel, whenever they happen. He will also only defend the title in Street Wrestling matches. The first wrestler to send him a challenge is Rambo Kawamura, formerly known as Rocky Kawamura or Ryo Kawamura whenever he isn’t impersonating his favorite Sylvester Stallone movies. Takagi is impressed enough with Kawamura’s initiative to send him to the top of his list of potential challengers.

A press conference was held today reacting to the aftermath of “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020”. It began with Tetsuya Endo apologizing to anyone who was offended by Shuji Ishikawa’s singing at the end of the show. Endo then explained his treatment of Daisuke Sasaki over the last couple of weeks including banishing him from DAMNATION was all done to guarantee he would get the most serious match out of him. He doesn’t hate him and it’s all water under the bridge now. Finally, Endo announced that Nobuhiro Shimatani has been promoted from a temporary DAMNATION member to an official full time member. Sasaki has been asked to hold the signboard from now on.

He’s been gone for over four months but MAO thinks he is already good enough to get a title shot after one match back. He hopes if he wins the DDT UNIVERSAL Title he can show the belt off to the mayor of Osaki and become an ambassador for his hometown just like Endo became one for Shiroishi. Yuki Ueno is looking forward to defending the title against another DNA wrestler. Ueno was only part of that brand for a year or two before it was suspended so he didn’t get to wrestle MAO as much over there. That MAO approached him to make the challenge makes Ueno happy.

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai (c) Vs Akito, Kazuki Hirata & Shota

Long before DNA there was another brand associated with DDT that was dedicated to giving the young wrestlers ring time. Monthly Young Communication existed a decade ago where the likes of Akito, Kazuki Hirata and Shota got to wrestle with each other. This was long before any member of Eruption joined DDT so the reemergence of this brand to challenge them for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles surprised them. But they said they will take on any trio who wants to take them on so the titles are on the line.

DDT “KAWASAKI STRONG 2021”, 14/02/2021
Culttz Kawasaki

1. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs X

Normally DDT holds two major shows a year in venues such as Sumo Hall or Ota Ward Gymnasium. The Coronavirus pandemic has forced them to reconsider the schedule and attempt more shows in bigger venues. It’s hard to say if Sumo Hall will be available for DDT in 2021 because of the rescheduled Olympic Games. It has also been difficult for DDT to find a venue that will allow 1,000+ fans to attend their show. Also there are cities in Japan where the population are staying put rather than travelling to Tokyo for their entertainment. So DDT are attempting to hold a major show outside of Tokyo, choosing the Culttz Kawasaki venue in Kawasaki as their spot. For now the only match attached to the card is a KO-D Openweight Title defence. It’s not confirmed yet if the D-Ou Grand Prix winner will be the challenger but that’s usually how it goes.

6. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Chris Brookes (c) Vs Yuki Ueno
7. Special Single Match: Jun Akiyama Vs Konosuke Takeshita
8. KO-D Openweight Title – BLACK OUT Presents: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki

The winner of the main event will receive 2,000,000 yen and a year’s worth of BLACK OUT energy drink. Daisuke Sasaki is still being serious when he says he will retire if he loses. He and Tetsuya Endo got into another fight during the press conference. Suits were ripped during this.

Naomi Yoshimura will be taking a break from wrestling after “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020” to recover from his cervical injuries. He has been working through back pain all this time since his return last year. Yoshimura promises to be in perfect condition and will be even bigger in size when he returns. His goal when he is back in the ring is to beat Konosuke Takeshita, Kasusada Higuchi and Yuki Ueno. His absence for now means the end of the Nautilus team with Ueno.

Ueno is getting more grief from Chris Brookes now that Nautilus is taking a break from each other. Brookes handed him a bouquet of flowers for losing the KO-D Tag Team Titles yesterday. Brookes handed it over while acting like somebody died. Ueno whacked Brookes over his head with the flowers.

DDT isn’t sure what to do with Shinya Aoki’s sudden decision to cancel the DDT Extreme Title match. Sanshiro Takagi thinks it is a negotiation tactic of some sort and is determined to make the match happen instead of winning the title by forfeit. If Aoki wants to drop the Weapon Rumble stipulation then Takagi will consider it but there is nothing out there to suggest why Aoki doesn’t want the match to happen. He wonders if Aoki refuses to sign the match contract because it reminds him of when he signed his marriage registration and also when he signed his divorce registration.

4f. Makoto Oishi eliminated Shunma Katsumata with the Fujiyama Knee Lock (18:17).
5. Road To Ultimate Party 2020! Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & Hiroshi Yamato defeated Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie when Sasaki submitted Paulie with the Cross Facelock (19:56).

Both Daisuke Sasaki & Hiroshi Yamato were ready for a fight. They came down to the ring carrying chairs and Yamato had his eyes painted black to match Sasaki. A ref bump late in the match allowed Sasaki to Low Blow Tetsuya Endo. He then grabbed the chair and attacked both Mad Paulie and Soma Takao with it. By the time the referee recovered, Sasaki had Paulie in the Cross Facelock to win by submission.

After the match, Sasaki mocked DAMNATION for losing all of their momentum. He still controls them and he will make Endo go back to his cute old self. Suddenly Endo attacked Sasaki and Yamato with Lariats. He then gave Sasaki the Modified One-Winged Angel. He told Sasaki he no longer has any control over him. The only thing Endo cares about now is beating Sasaki!

The latest ALL OUT Vs Junretsu battle had Shinya Aoki come in to take the injured Yuki Iino’s place. It was an Elimination Tag match which included out of the ring knockouts. The first few were surprising as Konosuke Takeshita got rid of Jun Akiyama for the first elimination. However he dropped his guard afterwards and got knocked to the floor by Hideki Okatani! The rookie kept going for a few minutes until Shunma Katsumata pinned him. A double elimination for Mizuki Watase and Aoki meant Makoto Oishi was left on his own. He overcame the 2-on-1 Handicap, flipping Akito out of the ring with a Headscissors and making Katsumata tap to the Fujiyama Knee Lock. When the match was over Takeshita and Akiyama had another staredown. Backstage Akiyama credited his team for today’s performance. Okatani for eliminating Takeshita, Watase for eliminating Aoki and Oishi for surviving the odds at the end.

Chris Brookes wanted to avoid wrestling Yuki Ueno in their tag match. Whenever Ueno got tagged in, Brookes would tag out and have Shota take his place. Brookes finally got in to fight Ueno after Shota did a Tornado DDT. Brookes had control until Ueno stunned him with a Dropkick. Shota tagged back in but was hit with a Standing Somato from HARASHIMA. Ueno hit the Frog Splash but then did the Praying Mantis Bomb to grab Brookes’ attention. After the match, Ueno grabbed the DDT UNIVERSAL Title and placed it on a chair in the ring daring Brookes to come and take it off him. Hisaya Imabayashi got Brookes the belt back but the champion was still angry at Ueno embarrassing him. Backstage Brookes asked Shota what had happened. He has a new outfit and wrestled his first match since getting injured. Shota had to explain he is not Masahiro Takanashi.

The message was sent loud and clear to Eruption today. Do not forget Kazuki Hirata is part of this feud too! Things looked at their worst for DISASTER BOX when Yukio Sakaguchi knocked out Naomi Yoshimura with the God’s Right Knee. But Hirata was the legal man and he rolled up Sakaguchi for a nearfall. He kept countering Sakaguchi’s moves with pins until he finally got the three count with the Miracle One Shot Cradle! Hirata told Eruption not to just focus on Nautilus because he is going to fight them for a championship too. He admits he is still afraid of Sakaguchi but with Nautilus by his side they will win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles! Well, they will once Yoshimura regains consciousness. Backstage, Saki Akai figured out that she should square off with Hirata so the others can put their entire focus on Nautilus.

Before Match #1 took place, Danshoku Dieno and Antonio Honda found Soma Takao practicing his low blows in the locker room. Neither of them wanted their groins to get destroyed so they promised to protect each other from Soma. They did well at first but the alliance fell apart when both of them wanted to win. Dieno set Honda up for the Danshoku Driver but Takao gave him a Low Blow. This led to a chain reaction of Dieno and Honda accidentally hitting each other in the groins over and over. When everything calmed down all that was left to do was for Takao to pin Honda with La Magistral Cradle.

D-Ou Grand Prix Schedule Changes

October 12, 2020

An emergency press conference was held today announcing changes to the D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 schedule. The two dates reserved for DDT TV SHOW tapings (28/11 & 5/12) are now taking place in Narimasu Act Hall and tickets will be free for fans to attend. The changes were made when fans requested the shows be held at venues they can go to see live instead of having them inside an empty studio. The free ticket campaign in the past has brought in new people to see DDT for the first time so it is being attempted again for the two replacement shows. Sanshiro Takagi admits it is a difficult idea to be running free shows while the business has been impacted by COVID-19. But it is a risk he is willing to take in order to make new fans.

The list of participants entering the D-Ou Grand Prix will be revealed during “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020” on 3rd November.
