1. HIMAWARI & Ren Konatsu defeated Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami when HIMAWARI pinned Takami with the Sunflower Tempest (10:06).
2. Andreza Giant Panda & Raku defeated Kyoko Inoue & Pom Harajuku when Andreza pinned Harajuku with the Andreza Press (9:41).
3. Wakana Uehara, Toga, Mifu Ashida & Kira Summer defeated Yuna Manase, Mahiro Kiryu, Kaya Toribami & Chika Nanase when Uehara submitted Nanase with the Banana Pillow (11:27).
4. 3 Way Tag Match: Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated Yuki Kamifuku & VENY and Arisu Endo & Jada Stone when Aino pinned Endo with the UBV (12:09).
5. Special Tag Match: Chris Brookes & Emi Sakura defeated El Desperado & Maki Itoh when Sakura pinned Itoh with the Queen’s Gambit (12:36).
6. Special Single Match: Miyu Yamashita defeated Billie Starkz with the Crash Rabbit Heat (15:45).
7. International Princess Title: Moka Miyamoto defeated Suzume (c) with the Korokan (12:55). *Suzume fails in V6. Moka Miyamoto becomes the 14th International Princess Champion!
8. Princess Tag Team Titles: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao (c) defeated Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe when Nakajima pinned Watanabe with the Diving Senton (25:32). *V3 for Kyoraku Kyomei.
9. Princess Of Princess Title: Mizuki (c) defeated Yuki Arai with the Cutie Special (21:35). *V3 for Mizuki.
If Mizuki gets to have her way then the entire summer is going to belong to her. She got one step closer to achieving that goal by successfully defending the Princess Of Princess Title today and cutting down the rising star Yuki Arai in the process. Arai relied heavily on Big Boots and similar attacks while Mizuki fired back in kind with Diving Stomps and heavy Dropkicks that resemble those kinds of stomps. Arai switched to putting Mizuki in the Scorpion Death Lock and even tried catching Mizuki’s arm to stop her from reaching the ropes. But Mizuki would rope break out of it and block the Finally to hit a Run-Up Double Stomp. From there Mizuki did the Whirling Candy for a two count. Arai was spent but kept trying to fight back until Mizuki caught her with the Cutie Special, hit her with a Missile Dropkick and drop her with another Cutie Special to win the match.
After the match Mizuki stuck her hand out to help Arai get back up and the two hugged. Arai left the ring and Mizuki thanked the fans for coming to the show as well as the fans who watched the stream from home. She said Arai is tough like Superman and by fighting her she could feel how amazing she is. The baton was passed through everyone in Tokyo Joshi Pro today from the very first match to the main event and Mizuki was happy to run with it at the end. If Arai is Superman, Mizuki is the Princess Of Princesses and she next wants to go win the Tokyo Princess Cup as the reigning Princess Champion! Arai admitted she kind of knew Mizuki was too high of a hurdle for her today. As much as she wanted to win the Princess Title her first time challenging for the belt made her realize she still can’t reach it yet. She also knows this wasn’t a once in a lifetime chance and she has time to become someone good enough to wear the belt around her waist someday. When that day comes she will challenge with confidence and would be happy if it’s Mizuki she has to beat to become champion.
Turns out it’s going to take more than just sasumata poles to take the Princess Tag Team Titles away from Kyoraku Kyomei! For the last month Daydream have been using sasumatas to torture the champions and get into their heads. Hyper Misao’s first counter measure was to promise she wouldn’t use her Hero Spray in the match and place it down on the mat. She then pulled out a second can and immediately sprayed Daydream with it. When the fight went around ringside Miu Watanabe used the sasumata to hook onto Shoko Nakajima and carry her up high before throwing her down to the floor. She and Rika Tatsumi also used the poles to swing and spin their opponents around in the ring. Misao then had to bring out her second counter measure, the Hyper Mobile! She ended up crashing it into Mahiro Kiryu but then Kyoraku Kyomei and Daydream charged into each other like it was a joust! Both teams wiped each other out so it was all even when the action moved back into the ring. Daydream tried to both do top rope moves on seperate corners but Kyoraku Kyomei countered it with their own Avalanche moves. Daydream did the Daydream Eternity on Nakajima by Misao broke the count at two. Nakajima then countered Watanabe’s Tear Drop into a Hurricanrana and did the Northern Lights Suplex only for Tatsumi to break the pin. The champions then got the upper hand when Nakajima gave Watanabe the Double Arm DDT while Misao used Vanitas on Tatsumi. That left the coast clear for Nakajima to climb the top turnbuckle and hit the Diving Senton on Watanabe for the win. Nakajima was worried the match would end in a time limit draw but she thinks her strength was the difference maker that pushed Kyoraku Kyomei towards victory. Tatsumi is disappointed that Daydream couldn’t win but she at least thinks her and Watanabe showed how good they would look as models advertising the sasumata poles.
There was one title change on the show and it came when Moka Miyamoto defeated Suzume for the International Princess Championship! Suzume added a rope walk Flying Facecrusher to her moveset and followed it up with the low range Ring A Bell. But when she jumped from the ropes to do the Spring Ring A Bell, Miyamoto dodged it and connected with the Zero Fighter Kick. Suzume was helpless from there and got pinned with the Korokan afterward for the title change. Miyamoto happily cried over winning her first championship especially because it happened two days before the 5th anniversary of her debut match. She is also pleased that the move she originally created for her first title challenge was what won her the match today. She is now looking forward to defending the title against foreign challengers so she can show them Japanese pro wrestling. Suzume is sad to see her title reign stop here when she feels like she is at her strongest. But having the title expanded her world and the reason she won it is because everyone believed in her. She knows she will bounce back from this and not miss out on the hot summer ahead.
The return of Billie Starkz to Japan also meant the return of the big move heavy style of wrestling you’d see on the American indies. Miyu Yamashita was happy to fight that way too even if she ends up getting a bit of a headache from it afterwards. At one point Starkz lifted her up at ringside and did a running Alabama Slam into the ring apron that saw Yamashita almost smack her head off of the edge. Yamashita returned the favour by giving Starkz the Attitude Adjustment from the ring apron to the floor. Back in the ring Starkz started getting frustrated when a Swanton Bomb and Tombstone Piledriver would not put Yamashita away. She then tried lifting her up for the Sugoi Driver but Yamashita slipped off behind her and applied a Sleeper Hold. Starkz used the Alabama Slam again to throw Yamashita into the corner and went for another Sugoi Driver but it was countered into a Victory Roll that led to Yamashita German Suplexing Starkz into the turnbuckles! Yamashita then hit the Crash Rabbit Heat in the middle of the ring to pin Starkz for the three count. Backstage Yamashita said today was the first time in three months she’s been in a TJPW ring and in that time she spent a lot of her tour with Starkz. She’s amazed at what Starkz has accomplished while only being 20 years old and enjoys fighting her, even when she does some crazy unexpected things. She wants Starkz to wrestle in TJPW again and suggested they even team up here. Starkz calls Yamashita one of her best opponents. Also as much as she was happy to wrestle on TJPW’s Dallas show, she said nothing can replace the feeling of wrestling on a TJPW show in Japan.
A lot of effort went into the entrances for the intergender tag match. TeaDK walked out dressed like royalty and being accompanied by servants. Meanwhile Maki Itoh made sure El Desperado got the full NEO Itoh Respect Army experience when the two of them danced to “Setsunairo”! Things went badly for TeaDK from the start. Desperado caught a Big Boot from Chris Brookes and threw his foot right into Emi Sakura’s face, causing her to get a nose bleed. Then Desperado and Brookes fought all the way up to the second floor to do the stretched rubber band spot on Itoh back in the ring. Brookes then introduced Itoh to Bunbun and the puppet gave her the middle finger. Itoh grabbed Bunbun and threw him out of the ring in response. Sakura was able to put Desperado in the Romero Special but Brookes used a Piledriver to get rid of him. Sakura then beat down Itoh with a Double Arm Backbreaker and Short-Range Lariat. Itoh showed resistance by sticking up her middle finger but Sakura then finished her off with the Queen’s Gambit to pin her. Backstage Sakura said the NEO Itoh Respect Army put 100% into their entrance but when the bell rang they didn’t give it their all. She also said Brookes didn’t do his share of the work either so this win was all entirely thanks to herself! Itoh praised Despy for the entrance and called him a great idol along with being a great IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion. She is now thinking of uniting all of the NEO Itoh Respect Army together so they can release a debut CD together.
Everyone had to watch their backs for the 3 Way Tag Match. Arisu Endo and Haru Kazashiro started off the match exchanging chain holds until Yuki Kamifuku eye raked the both of them. She then called VENY in so VENYU could work over Kazashiro until Endo & Jada Stone took control. Kazashiro continued taking the brunt of the attacks until she could tag in Yuki Aino. VENY got time in the ring with Stone and Kazashiro that ended with a triple down and tags to their partners. The two members of the Tokyo Joshi Tokusatsu Club then turned it up a notch with Aino giving Stone & Endo a Double Side Suplex. Things broke down with VENY doing a Moonsault onto Stone outside the ring while Kamifuku tried to finish off whoever she could find. But Kazashiro came in to give her the Fisherman Suplex. That left Aino in the ring with Endo. Aino countered the Ju no Okite into a Running Bulldog and then used the UBV on Endo to pin her. Kazashiro said this was her first 3 Way Tag match and she didn’t know what to do during the chaos. Aino praised the other teams for being strong and admitted some luck went their way. But they’re going to use this positive power to do more. VENYU were annoyed because they thought this was going to be an easy win. VENY is also noticing the last few times she’s been teaming with Kamifuku they’ve been losing. She doesn’t get invited to TJPW much so when she does she wants to get a belt! Kamifuku told her they can go to Ginza if she wants to look for a new belt.
Some new looks were on display for the 8-Woman Tag Match. Kaya Toribami and Chika Nanase had new costumes while Toga wore a fancy pair of sunglasses that look similar to the ones Kira Summer wears. Yuna Manase showed up with a new title belt to go along with the Kitsune World Title. Yesterday she won the Daily Sports Tag Team Title over at a PURE-J show. She accidentally dropped that belt to the floor during her ring entrance. Mahiro Kiryu’s once per match apology was her saying sorry for bringing a hot woman like Manase here when it’s already so hot every day. The match came down to Nanase lifting up Wakana Uehara into the Inari Torii Kai only for Mifu Ashida to kick her from behind. Uehara later jumped onto Nanase and rolled her into the Bannana Pillow to make her give up. Toga said her team had a good mix of power and flexibility to win. The wrestlers with power made up for those who didn’t have any and it went the other way with flexibility. Toga & Uehara were also happy to wrestle Manase who had already graduated from TJPW years before they debuted. They were able to show her some of TJPW’s new faces that have popped up while she was gone. Manase thought she had gotten stronger after winning another championship yesterday but she wasn’t able to help her teammates today. She learned she will still have to become even stronger.
Pom Harajuku showed up with her face painted to match Kyoko Inoue’s design but when it was time for their tag match to begin, their opponents decided to take a nap in the ring. Harajuku convinced Inoue they should go straight for the pin but Raku rolled the both of them on top of Andreza Giant Panda for a nearfall. Raku & Andreza then piled themselves on top of them for another nearfall. Inoue was then put to sleep by the power of Raku’s eyemask and lullaby but Harajuku woke her up by screaming. Inoue tried attacking Andreza with Mongolion Chops but Andreza knocked her back with his own version of the move as well as a Spinning Back Fist. Andreza also swatted Harajuku away at points but she was able to knock him down with a Missile Dropkick to the back. Raku gave Inoue a Russian Leg Sweep with an assist from Andreza pushing them over. Andreza then knocked out Harajuku with a Headbutt and pinned her with the Andreza Press. Raku said her team spent most of the day sleeping which is why they were able to win. Andreza’s handler Ossan Tiger agreed because Andreza slept for more than 10 hours, the perfect amount. Harajuku was upset not because she lost but because Inoue wasn’t looking when she was doing her best. Next time she will show Inoue just how cool she is.
The rookie Ren Konatsu got to be on the winning side of a tag team match for the first time. She has HIMAWARI to thank for that. Konatsu was taken out by Shino Suzuki late in the match leaving HIMAWARI to fight Uta Takami. She broke out of the Koala Clutch to give Takami the Princess Drop. Then after that she pinned Takami with the Sunflower Tempest. HIMAWARI was happy to be in the opening match at Ota Ward Gymnasium again because she wanted to make up for losing the opening match at “GRAND PRINCESS ’25” back in March. She also wanted to lead Konatsu for her first big event match of her career. Konatsu only just debuted but she said she has a strong desire to liven things up. Takami is disappointed she lost but appreciates getting to experience all kinds of emotions like happiness, frustration and fun! She hopes some day she will go on a bus tour across Japan with Suzuki for a wrestling trip together.

Welcome to the middle point of the year and the second of three visits to Ota Ward Gymnasium in 2025. As we enter part two in this trilogy of big venue events for Tokyo Joshi Pro this year I’m trying to figure out if a three act story can be pieced together in regards to the company’s top champion. It’s either going to be that or the inauguration of their next ace. A successful tour of Texas earlier this month has provided a gust of momentum for TJPW going into the show and perhaps even a fresh group of eyes looking towards the event, at least internationally. On the undercard a lot of the wrestlers are focusing on the upcoming Tokyo Princess Cup. Even a few of the champions have set up goals to win the tournament while holding their titles. That’s if they make it out of Ota Ward with the belt still in their hands of course. Then once the Cup is done with the road will take TJPW back here for “WRESTLE PRINCESS VI” in September. Now let’s see if this really is going to be Act II of a year long story.
I don’t know what it is about the new rookie but whenever I look into Ren Konatsu’s eyes I see the crazy vibes of MAO hiding deep in there somewhere. This is way, way down the line by the way because she hasn’t even entered her third month as a pro wrestler yet. All I’m saying is it only takes the little sheep toy clipped to her belt to start whispering ideas into her head and next thing you know she’s using her opponents to smash plastic boxes into pieces. If the sheep suddenly gets replaced with a Labubu then we’re really going to see some trouble down the line.
I thought TJPW had something going on for HIMAWARI and Shino Suzuki by making them team up every now and then going back to the previous Ota Ward show. Instead they are going to be opponents here. HIMAWARI is teaming with Konatsu and is the only one in this match who qualified for the Princess Cup. Suzuki’s failure to get past the prelimary rounds may become a pivotal point in her career because she is now seeing how little progress she’s been making in her three years as a wrestler. Uta Takami meanwhile has her whole future ahead of her and had a big role on this year’s “HYPE!” show. Maybe she’s the one I should be worried about possibly turning crazy instead of Konatsu.
2. Andreza Giant Panda & Raku Vs Kyoko Inoue & Pom Harajuku
A potential monster bout ended up changing its plans but in doing so brings in a brand new joshi legend into the TJPW ring for the first time. Max The Impaler was supposed to return to Japan so they could team up with Pom Harajuku again. Unfortunately according to TJPW Max has health issues preventing them from being able to travel for the show so that put a stop to Pompaler getting back together for now. Harajuku’s new tag partner is the fearsome and face painted Kyoko Inoue! I wonder if United Japan Pro Wrestling is the reason why we’re getting this appearance? Inoue is the founder and current president of World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana based in Kanagawa. The joshi group recently joined UJPW as a supporting member and TJPW is already a member so the connection is there to be made.
There might be a jealous Up Up Girl in the locker room once Inoue is in the ring because one of the highlights of her classic matches was always the Giant Swing. Will she be the one to do it to Andreza Giant Panda? The last time Andreza showed up in TJPW he went viral for getting bonked over the head with a Pico Pico Hammer. This place is starting to get too dangerous for him. For Raku though she’s been living a dream ever since her last visit to Ota Ward. Back in March she beat Harajuku to win the SETUP All Asia Women’s Title, her first proper championship reign. While she no longer holds the belt things are just going swimmingly for her lately. This match is just going to be another trip inside her sleepy wonderland. Maybe she’ll bring the Buc-ee toy she bought in Texas with her for Andreza to play with.
3. Yuna Manase, Mahiro Kiryu, Kaya Toribami & Chika Nanase Vs Wakana Uehara, Toga, Mifu Ashida & Kira Summer
Time to throw a mixture of women into the ring, shake it back and forth and see who comes out of it the last ones standing. Yuna Manase pays another visit to TJPW. While she’s been rocking the Ganbare☆Joshi division over in Ganbare☆Pro in Japan, she’s also been flying the flag for Kitsune over in America as their top champion. Mahiro Kiryu was settling into a new tag team with Haruna Neko until Neko got injured yet again so she’s sort of just been floating around at the moment. Kaya Toribami finally had something of a level up by getting to challenge for the MLW Women’s Featherweight Title last month and putting in a pretty good performance. She also has a new costume ready to debut for this show so maybe things are looking up for the bird. Chika Nanase is starting to move up into the next phase of her young career. Where she goes from here is anyone’s guess.
Over on the other team Wakana Uehara is progressing at a nice pace. She has a named tag team as part of Ober Eats, got to challenge for a championship and at this point is pretty much guaranteed to be part of the crew for every USA tour. As long as she keeps her appetite, I see good things coming for her in the future. The times Toga has mostly been standing out lately is from whenever she gets to play an ikemen role of some sort. In regular matches though she’s had a few setbacks lately. Mifu Ashida’s win-loss record since coming here hasn’t been great either. She’s been a bit busy doing other things lately but a time like now is always a good place to start turning things around. Kira Summer has been seeing the growth of women’s wrestling in Asia and Australia this year. It is motivating her to join in and play her part in helping it grow even more.
4. 3 Way Tag Match: Yuki Kamifuku & VENY Vs Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro Vs Arisu Endo & Jada Stone
Ober Eats is one of the new teams to appear on the scene this year but Yuki Kamifuku is going back to one of her favorite choices in her wardrobe. She is bringing VENY back so VENYU can team up together again! VENY has spent the year ruling over SEAdLINNNG with a five month reign as Beyond The Sea Champion. Once that title run came to an end she’s been going from place to place in the joshi scene with TJPW becoming her next brief stop. Yuki Aino is fresh off of coming out as the main character of this year’s “HYPE!” show. The lesson she learned coming out of it is she will never be alone in TJPW and that might finally be what leads her out of the maze she’s been stuck in ever since her sister Nodoka Tenma graduated. I’m probably going to be writing that opinion again and again until the end of time.
Aino will be teaming with Haru Kazashiro who continues to grow into a future high card player for the promotion. Once she gets her final year of high school out of the way, the sky’s the limit for how far she will go in the ring. She is already developing the ring smarts to gradually figure out how to perfect the Fisherman Suplex but a 3 Way Tag Match like this is probably too chaotic an environment to show that off. The third team is a fitting mixture of pep and spark. Arisu Endo has been taking a back seat for her Daisy Monkey’s partners success. She hasn’t been letting that dampen her spirits. Jada Stone is now well accustomed to TJPW but it looks like she has a new place to call home. She was recently offered a contract by TNA so I’m not sure if she will continue to do tours here. If this is close to the end then she’s certainly made good use of her time in TJPW.
5. Special Tag Match: El Desperado & Maki Itoh Vs Chris Brookes & Emi Sakura
Are there as many wrestlers out there who are currently living out their dreams like El Desperado has? He gets to fulfill his most violent desires by having several deathmatches with Jun Kasai, pals around with the likes of MAO and Chris Brookes especially when it comes to the more sleazy indies style of wrestling. There’s nobody else in New Japan who is quite as in sync with the current wrestling scene than good ol’ Despy. Now he gets to tick off another line in his bucket list by getting to team with Maki Itoh! The two got to know each other in America two years ago when they were both booked on the same GCW show. The idea was thrown around for them to team up. Now that it’s happening it finally occurred to Despy that he has to learn Itoh’s song and dance in order to be accepted into the Itoh Respect Army. Rehersals so far have not been promising. Brookes was at least able to pull the dance off so the current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion has no excuse. Come on man you used to carry a guitar around. Surely you can carry a tune too?
TJPW brought Despy & Itoh together because they needed a poison pairing that could match the same level as TeaDK. Brookes & Emi Sakura teamed up in TJPW last March for “GRAND PRINCESS ’24” and it didn’t go according to plan for them. They lost to The Magical Sugar Rabbits and blamed each other over the result. Time healed those wounds so they are teaming up again to give TJPW another go. Sakura has had several matches with Sakura over the years, most of them in an AEW ring. Thankfully they haven’t needed to staple each other over and over like Brookes and Despy do whenever they fight. Oh God, don’t let Itoh arm herself with a stapler!
6. Special Single Match: Miyu Yamashita Vs Billie Starkz
One of Miyu Yamashita’s toughest rivals on her excursions to America is Billie Starkz. When it comes to their previous matches Starkz has beaten Yamashita more than the other way around. It’s a friendly rivalry though and the two of them even had something of a good tag team going on during Yamashita’s recent stay in GCW. So when Yamashita heard that Starkz would love nothing more than to wrestle in Japan again she got TJPW to set this match up.
So yeah, that’s pretty much it. Not a lot of story to set this up and it remains to be seen if this is just a one off attraction match to have for the big show. Yamashita only has one championship left to win in TJPW to have achieved every single accomplishment available to her. If anything her winning this match would be done to establish her as the favorite for the Princess Cup. A win for Starkz here though should be followed up on. A younger wrestler beating Yamashita in her home promotion is worth a title shot of some sort down the line. We don’t really need to worry about locker room politics either because it’s become pretty clear recently that Yamashita has some sort of deal in place with AEW/ROH.
7. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs Moka Miyamoto
Now we get into the big three matches of the show. The three championships are all currently on a reliable group of wrestlers so where the belts go from here is a good question to think about. If Suzume was to lose the International Princess Title here she would have left a good mark as champion. Her reign has been a little bit different than the others thanks to a pair of defences against Jada Stone, one in Japan and the rematch in America. It’s unusual for someone to defend a Princess Title against the same challenger twice in one reign. It’s also not that common for the IP Champion to defend the belt overseas when that’s meant to be the whole bloody point of it! When it’s all said and done, Suzume will have a good argument towards having one of the more defining runs as IP Champion. She’s already said she feels like she has evolved from a bee into a hornet because of this title. Her ultimate goal is to become queen bee of TJPW!
Her challenger Moka Miyamoto has also become attached to the belt but it’s becoming for a pretty bad reason. This is going to be her third time challenging for the IP Title after failing to win it twice before. It is the title she wants most because she believes having an international championship is the best way for her to spread Japanese culture across the world. Part of that culture is Japan’s technology and Miyamoto thinks there has to be some kind of Japanese technology out there that is good for getting rid of hornets! The two traded wins with each other during the Texas tour so it’s all even going into Ota Ward.
8. Princess Tag Team Titles: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe
Okay where do sasumata poles stand on the police brutality scale because they’re going to be mentioned a lot in this part of the preview and the girls have already used them to literally crucify Tetsuya Koda. The existence of these things have been the blight of Kyoraku Kyomei’s last couple of weeks. Other than that things are going great for the Princess Tag Team Champions. The big kaiju Shoko Nakajima was let loose in MLW and she quickly acquired the MLW Women’s Title. Meanwhile Hyper Misao lived through the stress of putting together the third annual “HYPE!” show and came out of it in one piece. They were looking forward to their next crazy adventure with the Princess Tag Titles but weren’t ready for how it would be set up.
One year ago the headline match of “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’24” was the battle of Daydream between Rika Tatsumi and Miu Watanabe. In the aftermath the two appeared to have gone their separate ways and they went almost a year without teaming up again. That was until a month ago when Daydream reunited and ambushed Kyoraku Kyomei with sasumata poles, demanding a title shot. The champions agreed to the match because Daydream are the kind of strong team they’re looking to beat. Ever since then Tatsumi & Watanabe have been attacking Nakajima & Misao with sasumata poles in their preview matches. Kyoraku Kyomei reached their breaking point over it and stole the sasumatas away from their challengers. They then tried to properly recycle them under the watchful eye of GM Koda until Daydream appeared to try and take their weapons back by force. That led to Nakajima & Misao taping the poles to Koda like a crucifix but Daydream were able to take him back too. Now that the weapons are back in the challengers’ hands they have the advantage going into the title match. Will the champs decided to fight fire with fire or will they have something else under their sleeves to foil Daydream’s plan?
9. Princess Of Princess Title: Mizuki (c) Vs Yuki Arai
This is going one of two ways. Either we are firmly in Mizuki’s era as the dominant Princess Of Princess Champion where she will headline all of the Ota Ward shows or TJPW decides now is the time to crown Yuki Arai as their new top draw. Mizuki has already toppled Watanabe (to win the belt), Tatsumi and Yamashita (the two defences) in this title reign. If she beats Arai here I see her holding onto the belt for a long time to come so she can have her definitive main event run in the promotion. Arai meanwhile made the choice to go all in on having pro wrestling be her career so while she has all the time in the world to achieve the final piece of the TJPW Grand Slam, I wouldn’t be shocked to see the company strike now while the iron is hot.
History doesn’t paint a clear picture for how this is going to go. Arai won the Princess Tag Titles on her first try and Mizuki was one of the champions back then. Arai was involved with the finish but it was Saki Akai who pinned Mizuki for the victory. When it comes to the International Princess Title however Arai failed to win it twice before becoming champion on her third attempt (hey, that’s a good sign for Miyamoto). This main event is her first time fighting for the Princess Of Princess Title. Only a select few have held the title and none were ever able to beat the champion on their first try. But that’s just the kind of record a wrestler booked like Arai would go on to break, right? After all, this is the idol who only needed one Finally Axe Kick to beat the unstoppable Max The Impaler and earned an endorsement from Meiko Satomura. She’s been groomed since day one to become the promotion’s next ace and her quick success is evidence of it.
Arai is not taking this moment for granted. It’s her first big match since graduating from SKE48. When she juggled her idol career with her wrestling career she felt like she wasn’t as good as everyone else in TJPW. But now that she’s fully focused on just wrestling she is eager to go challenge all of her seniors and eventually take the lead of the promotion. Mizuki has a goal in mind to win the Princess Cup while she holds the Princess Title. She has already proved that princesses are stronger than monsters. But are they stronger than successful pop singers?

1. Special 8-Man Tag Match: Maki Itoh, Chris Brookes, Takeshi Masada & Marcus Mathers defeated Yuki Ueno, Masha Slamovich, Yuni & Ilusion when Itoh pinned Ilusion after the 450 Splash from Mathers (15:02).
2. DDT Variety Team Vs The Mothership: Allie Katch & Dark Sheik defeated Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda when Sheik pinned Hirata with the Diving Leg Drop (10:30).
3. DDT Vs GCW Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & KANON defeated Rina Yamashita & Broski Jimmy when Sasaki pinned Jimmy after the Freedom Call (12:36).
4. DDT Vs GCW Special Tag Match: Tetsuya Endo & Yuki Iino defeated Gringo Loco & 1 Called Manders when Endo pinned Loco with the Burning Star Press (14:47).
5. DDT Vs GCW Special Single Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Effy ended in a No Contest (9:48).
6. GCW World Title – 3 Way Hardcore Match: Mance Warner (c) defeated Shunma Katsumata and Joey Janela when Warner pinned Katsumata with the Impaler DDT (18:26). *V8 for Mance Warner.
7. DDT Universal Title: MAO (c) defeated Alex Zayne by Referee Stoppage (8:17). *V10 for MAO.
As part of this year’s tour of Japan, GCW teamed up with DDT to put everything together. This includes the opening night where both promotions held a joint show at Korakuen Hall mixing their two rosters together. The main event would have been MAO’s crowning moment of his DDT Universal Title reign because he reached his 10th successful defence. Unfortunately no one was happy with how it went. Alex Zayne injured his ankle during a spot outside the ring where he did a backflip off of the stage and landed on his feet. The landing seemed to have jacked in his ankle and despite making the effort to get back into the ring, Yukinori Matsui made the call to end the match and reward MAO the victory by TKO. In an update since the show ended, Zayne got an X-ray and the results showed no serious damage was done. MAO promised to give him a rematch. He is under the impression that DDT and GCW will do a show like this again next year.
Shunma Katsumata was inserted into the big fed over the GCW World Title. The champion Mance Warner and top contender Joey Janela are in the middle of several fights over the belt and the latest battle was a 3 Way Hardcore Match with Katsumata as the third wheel. Tables, ladders, chairs and toy blocks were all used in the match. Warner also used handcuffs on Katsumata before attacking him with a stapler, a wrench and a screwdriver to bust him open. Katsumata was still able to fight while handcuffed and eventually the key was found to free him. He put Janela through the table with the Totonou Splash but Warner stole the win by giving Katsumata the Impaler DDT right afterwards. Janela promised to one day beat Warner for the GCW Title and also beat Katsumata so he can be the DDT Extreme Champion again. Katsumata wants to wrestle at GCW shows in America more often and defend the Extreme Title over there. He thinks it wouldn’t be any fun if these matches only happened in Japan.
People were warned in advance about the Danshoku Dieno Vs Effy match and those expectations were met. Before the match even began the audience were told to raise their hands if they wanted to be kissed by Dieno. GCW’s ring announcer Emil Jay was among the volunteers. Effy offered Dieno a bracelet when the match began but Dieno was too shy to take it. The actual wrestling quickly turned intimate causing Hisaya Imabayashi to enter the ring and demand them to take the match seriously. The two wrestlers obliged but it didn’t take long for the mood to get sensual again. A missed Lip Lock from Dieno knocked out Matsui so Daisuke Kiso became the replacement ref. He was then taken out of action by a Lip Lock from Effy. GCW sent out their referee Dan Perch to sort things out but Dieno & Effy joined forces to give him a Doomsday Lip Lock! One of GCW’s other referees on site Scarlette Donovan then ran in hoping to be part of the fun but neither Dieno nor Effy were interested. They gave her a Double Brainbuster instead. Referee vengeance finally happened when Adam Gault avoided the attack and gave Effy a Stunner followed by a Standing Moonsault. Dieno caught him in the Lip Lock though and formed the Hell Gate with Makoto Oishi. Imabayashi had enough because they are on a live broadcast but Effy threw him into the Hell Gate. By this point Matsui had no choice but to call off the match. Dieno and Effy celebrated together anyway. They also asked DDT to turn the 4 Way Match they are both in on 15th August into a tag match so they can be partners in more ways than one.
BURNING bounced back from losing the KO-D Tag Team Titles over the weekend by winning their DDT Vs GCW match. Gringo Loco & 1 Called Manders shared a similar tag team dynamic of agility and strength working together. Loco gave Tetsuya Endo a One Man Spanish Fly from the top rope. Manders followed up with a Moonsault but Endo rolled out of the way. Yuki Iino took down Manders with a Spear, leaving Endo to give Loco the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb and then the Burning Star Press for the win.
DDT also beat GCW when DAMNATION T.A were victorious against the unusual pairing of Rina Yamashita & Broski Jimmy. There was some help from MJ Paul along the way but KANON found himself in danger when the other team attacked him with chairs. Daisuke Sasaki got some momentum back by putting Lloyd in La Mistica Crossface Lock but Yamashita broke the hold. KANON returned and with Sasaki left Lloyd beaten with the Freedom Call. KANON is relieved because he didn’t want to lose his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Shield or risk having it go overseas. Sasaki just hated everything about today. His post-match comments? “Fuck Jimmy! Fuck Yamashita! Fuck GCW! Fuck DDT! Fuck off everything!”
Together Allie Katch & Dark Sheik are known as The Mothership and they have experienced a lot that makes pro wrestling weird and wonderful. Even so they hadn’t met a team quite like Antonio Honda & Kazuki Hirata. Honda got their attention by telling his Gongitsune joke in English. Gon wants to enter the Olympics and play table tennis but when he found a place to train he found out it was “Table Penis” instead! Hirata tried to power up with the Hirata GO! glasses but The Mothership stopped him and put the glasses on themselves. All four wrestlers danced and continued fighting to the music. It ended with Sheik pinning Hirata with the Diving Leg Drop.
Normally when Maki Itoh wrestles in Japan it is for Tokyo Joshi Pro but today she was here as a GCW wrestler and leader of the NEO Itoh Respect Army. She got upset when Yuki Ueno tried to act cuter than her. It caused a chain reaction where the rest of Itoh’s team and even referee Gault sulked with her until Ueno tagged out. Yuni tagged in and tried to cheer them all up but it was all a trap so they could take control of the match. Ueno got back in and did well against both Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada but he found a tough challenge in Marcus Mathers. Itoh also spent a lot of the match fighting with Masha Slamovich. Yuni, Slamovich & Ilusion all hit dives to the outside. Itoh considered joining in but had cold feet so Brookes gave her a Military Press out of the ring onto everyone outside. Poor Ilusion then got ganged up on. He was given the Triangle Enzui from Masada, the Praying Mantis Bomb from Brookes, the I.S.D from Itoh and then the 450 Splash from Mathers. Itoh took the spoils by pinning Ilusion after all of that.

BURNING is the newest unit in DDT. The complete group of four led by Tetsuya Endo will have their first match together in Yoyogi. They are heading straight into the heat of things by going against The 37KAMIINA.
An unusual request was put out there by Super Sasadango Machine. He asked DDT to team with Shinya Aoki & Yumiko Hotta to take on Pheromones. According to Sasadango, he met up with Aoki to record a podcast and afterward Aoki admitted to him that he is in love with Hotta! Aoki grew up watching Hotta’s matches on the ATHENA TV show and never gave up hope that they would one day be together. That day finally came when Aoki defended the DDT Extreme Title against Hotta. It was the only time when Aoki felt at ease with another person. Sasadango wants the two of them to reunite under the lens of Yumehito Imanari’s camera. That is why he put together this match against Pheromones.

The DDT Sauna Club’s momentum has been cooled down like a cold shower after today’s show. Eruption threw their best shot at Konosuke Takeshita & MAO after a frustrating trend of bad results against them and this time stood victorious. The KO-D Tag Team Champions almost blew it when Kazusada Higuchi accidentally hit Yukio Sakaguchi with a Lariat. But they recovered when Higuchi caught MAO from a Moonsault and threw him into the God’s Right Knee from Sakaguchi. Takeshita tried to fight off Higuchi until he too got hit with the God’s Right Knee. Higuchi then went for his big moves until he got the three count with the Brain Claw Slam.
Eruption celebrated their title defence and encouraged Higuchi for his KO-D Openweight Title shot next month. Sakaguchi then called out for their next challengers to appear. HARASHIMA entered the ring and told Eruption that he and Yuji Okabayashi were always meant to be next in line for a title shot. Are Eruption ready for Smile Pissari? Sakaguchi called it an interesting match and Higuchi said he will do it anytime. Hisaya Imabayashi assured both teams the match will happen but he needs to talk with Big Japan first to decide when Okabayashi can come back to DDT. After he left, Saki Akai made sure that her partners weren’t injured. She then said Eruption will do their best to main event the next time DDT holds a big event in Nagoya.
The return of #STRONGHEARTS to DDT saw them clash with Junretsu and CIMA couldn’t resist trolling Jun Akiyama and Yusuke Okada over their previous home promotion. A few days ago CIMA won the AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Title and he flaunted it in front of Akiyama & Okada. In return Akiyama showed off the KO-D Title to CIMA. In the match itself, Shigehiro Irie stepped up to Akiyama while El Lindaman wiped out Okada & Makoto Oishi with a Topé Con Hilo. Hideki Okatani was left isolated and picked apart until T-Hawk pinned him. Akiyama showed respect to CIMA after the match by handing him his title and shaking his hand. CIMA then taunted Okada with the belt. In his backstage comment afterwards, Akiyama said he is well aware that he hasn’t won a match since becoming the KO-D Champion.
The Sauna Club’s other defeat on the show was against DAMNATION. When Daisuke Sasaki and Yuki Ueno faced off, Sasaki was able to avoid the WR. Tetsuya Endo eventually made Shunma Katsumata submit but he isn’t interested in chasing after the DDT Extreme Title. Instead he wants the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. Still, he thinks champions shouldn’t lose so it’s a bad look for Katsumata.
DAMNATION were trying to get all over their opponents in Match #5. Nobuhiro Shimatani kept getting involved by distracting Yukio Naya and aiding Mad Paulie. Then Soma Takao threw a chairshot but Naya ducked and Paulie got hit instead. Toru Owashi used his Lucha skill to throw Shimatani & Hiroshi Yamato out of the ring. When things went back to normal, Naya beat Paulie in the heavyweight battle and got the win for his team.
Young defeated old in the KO-D 6-Man Tag Titles match. The DDT Legend Army saw their chances go up in smoke when HARASHIMA went for the Somato but Akito pulled Danshoku Dieno in the way and made him take the Somato right in the butt. Kazuki Hirata got rid of HARASHIMA while Shota did a Frog Splash on Dieno and then did a dive into Sanshiro Takagi. Akito finished Dieno off by putting him in an Anaconda Vice with a Lip Lock also applied to get the submission win.
After the match, Akito said the Young Communication Generation may not be able to rewrite the history of DDT that their opponents today built but instead they made a new folder for them to create new memories and records in. DAMNATION entered the ring declaring themselves the next challengers. It will be Endo, Takao & Yuji Hino will get a title shot on 14th March.
Hino doesn’t have to worry about Yuki Iino for the time being. He beat him fair and square with the Fucking BOMB and as seen above has already moved on from this feud. Iino however swears that one day he will beat Hino and he will do it with the Spear!
Match #2 was briefly turned into a Handicap match when Antonio Honda’s fake knee injury was so convincing he had to be taken out of the ring on a stretcher. Akai had to fight the NEO Itoh Respect Army on her own but her scream for help was answered by Honda coming to the rescue. He then tripped and hurt his knee again. Maki Itoh created her own Gongitsune to flirt with Honda’s version of it until Akai broke them up. In the end Chris Brookes caught Honda in the Octopus Stretch, making him give up.
In the opener, Shimatani thought Toui Kojima’s name was Oshima. He and Yamato took out Keigo Nakamura with the Double Sliding X, leading to Yamato winning with his finisher.

5. Chateau Amoeba 5F: Saki Sukeban, Yoshiko & Seigo Tachibana defeated Danshoku Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine & Makoto Oishi when Yoshiko pinned Sasadango with the Running Senton (6:15).
6. Chateau Amoeba 3F: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao defeated HARASHIMA, Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura when Sasaki grabbed the bag (11:48).
7. Shibuya HARLEM: Atsushi Onita, Chris Brookes & Maki Itoh defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Iino when Onita pinned Katsumata after the Current Blast Full Swing (15:36).
Three teams entered the Chateau Amoeba Studio looking for Money In The Bag but only one would leave with it. At least that was supposed to be the plan. HARASHIMA, Konosuke Takeshita and Danshoku Dieno each captained a team and met up outside the studio. There they were met by CyberZ president and DDT director Takehiro Yamauchi along with comedian Shinji Saito. They explained the Money In The Bag was hidden somewhere inside the building but they also hired teams of hunters to protect it. If a team loses a match to the hunters they would be eliminated from the competition.
The first match took place on the 1st Floor. This is where DDT records episodes of TheNight on ABEBA. Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine & Makoto Oishi entered the room and found out Shinya Aoki was recording his own episode of TheNight with Sanshiro Takagi & Keigo Nakamura as his guests. There was a bag behind them but they attacked Dieno’s team to start the first match. The two teams fought out to the hallway where Dieno’s backside was sprayed with disinfectant. The fight then went through the studio where AbemaMix Friday was broadcasting a hip hop set. They went back to TheNight where Nakamura knocked out Dieno with a High Kick. Dieno slumped over the desk with his backside hanging out and Oishi threw Nakamura face first into him. Oishi then Cradled Nakamura for the three count. Dieno’s team grabbed the bag but found out it only contained signed copies of Takagi’s autobiography.
DISASTER BOX went to the 2nd Floor Basement where they found a sign on the dressing room door with “I Have A Bag” written on it. They went inside and saw a bag hanging from the ceiling. But Saito sprung three hunters on them! MAO, Mizuki Watase & Yukio Naya appeared for the 2nd match. Naya took out a mat covered in massage stones and his team removed HARASHIMA’s boots. HARASHIMA’s exposed feet hurt when he ran on the mat so he couldn’t do the Somato. Yuki Ueno found a pair of padded slippers that HARASHIMA could wear for protection. The plan worked and HARASHIMA hit Naya with the Somato to win. Naomi Yoshimura propped HARASHIMA up to grab the bag but they only contained sponges.
Over at the 4th Floor, ALL OUT bumped into Hisaya Imabayashi and found a bag hanging near the 7 Star Stage. When Takeshita went to get it he was ambushed by Gota Ihashi. Takeshita swatted him aside and went to climb it again only for Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi to appear for the next match. They fought through the studios where Midnight Bicycle Race and Shogi Battle Commentary were being recorded. The ABEMA staff told the wrestlers to get out so the match moved back out to the hall. Ihashi tried to hold one of the staff hostage but she ran away. Ihashi chased after her with a traffic cone and Akito came to the rescue, taking the cone to his stomach to protect the woman. Ihashi was then accidentally hit with the God’s Right Knee from Sakaguchi when it was meant to hit Takeshita. Higuchi tried to step in but Takeshita gave him a Brainbuster onto Ihashi. Takeshita pinned Ihashi then went to get the bag but Shunma Katsumata told him Akito was unconscious. ALL OUT are down a man but on the bright side they found a mysterious map inside the bag. Where would it lead them?
Back to Dieno’s team. They were still on the 1st Floor and walked in on two Tokyo Joshi Pro teams getting ready for a photoshoot. The Magical Sugar Rabbits and Pink Ready were arguing over who the shoot was supposed to be for. Dieno suggested they should wrestle for it. MagiRabi shoved Pink Ready onto some chairs and spun them around the room. Yuka Sakazaki found a fire extinguisher and sprayed it over Mina Shirakawa, freezing her face. The teams then fought over to the Reception Area where Shirakawa gave Mizuki the Romero Special on top of the reception desk while Yuki Kamifuku held Sakazaki in a Headscissors beside them. Back in the studio Dieno & Sasadango got caught up in the action. They got mixed up with Pink Ready, allowing MagiRabi to climb a nearby ladder and dive onto everyone below for the win. They told Dieno the bag he’s looking for is on the 5th Floor then went on to have their photoshoot.
Up Dieno’s team went to the 5th Floor. They found a bag but it was being guarded by Saki Sukeban, Yoshiko & Seigo Tachibana. These three were raring for a fight too. Saki attacked Oishi with her bamboo sword. Dieno tried to get on Yoshiko’s good side by wanting to film a TikTok video with her. Tachibana cycled into the room and placed his bike on a table. He spun the wheels on the spot so Saki could press Sasadango’s unmasked head into it. Yoshiko hit Sasadango with a Lariat then pinned him with a Running Senton. Dieno’s team were eliminated from the competition.
In the 3rd Floor, ALL OUT found DAMNATION drinking loads and loads of sake on their own. They also found a bag hanging above them. When Daisuke Sasaki found out about the contest he wanted to take it for himself. An impromptu Ladder Match broke out. Tetsuya Endo tried to climb the ladder but HARASHIMA pulled down the back of his shorts to stop him. Ueno tried to climb but Soma Takao did the same to him. Yoshimura Power Bombed Sasaki onto a table. HARASHIMA missed the Somato on Sasaki and landed on a chair, sliding himself away in the process. He turned this into a good idea by sliding the chair into his opponents. Endo threw Ueno onto the rest of DISASTER BOX, allowing Sasaki to climb the ladder and take the bag. Sasaki found 3,000 yen inside. Turns out it wasn’t the right bag, it in fact belonged to Hisaya Imabayashi. Whatever, DAMNATION went off to spend the money on more alcohol. DISASTER BOX lost the match so they were eliminated.
That left ALL OUT as the last team remaining. Katsumata was now in his Super Hardcore form. They also replaced Akito with Yuki Iino. The map brought ALL OUT over to Shibuya HARLEM where Saito was waiting for them. At last the remaining elite contestants had arrived for the final battle. The real bag was nearby but to get it they needed to win a Current Blast Death Match! Out came Atsushi Onita and the NEO Itoh Respect Army as the final hunters. Onita put Katsumata through a table with a Piledriver then fought with Iino inside a restroom. Maki Itoh knocked Takeshita off a ladder with a Headbutt. She then switched on the current for the blast bat. Takeshita grabbed the bat and swung it at Itoh but Chris Brookes jumped in to shield her and take the blast! Onita found another blast bat and hit Katsumata with it at full swing. He pinned him afterwards to win the match and eliminate ALL OUT.
Saito walked out feeling victorious. None of the teams could beat his challenge. However Onita then started to attack Saito, blaming him for never doing a Current Blast Deathmatch in Yoshimoto like he promised the last time they were together. Onita told him the next time they meet it should be in a pro wrestling match!

8. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo defeated Masato Tanaka (c) with two Shooting Star Presses (26:19). *Masato Tanaka fails in V5. Tetsuya Endo becomes the 75th KO-D Openweight Champion!
Tetsuya Endo’s path to reclaim the KO-D Openweight Title ends with success and maybe a few extra scars. Masato Tanaka put him through a table twice in their match, bringing back memories of their D-Ou Grand Prix final last December. The first table crash had Tanaka throw Endo through one from the turnbuckles. But the second happened when Endo used his knees to block the Diving Body Press. Damage to Endo’s leg prevented him from doing the Handspring Overhead Kick until late in the match. He could barely stand after kicking out of the Super Fly but Tanaka dared him into doing so. Tanaka hit the short range Sliding D after Endo missed the Shooting Star Press but Endo was close enough to grab the ropes for a pin break. Tanaka ran to the ropes for another Sliding D but Endo countered it with Testuya In The Sky. He hit a Package Canadian Destroyer for a two count then dragged Tanaka to the corner. Endo hit the Shooting Star Press not once but twice to get the three count and become the new KO-D Champion!
Tanaka grabbed the title belt from Yukinori Matsui after the match but it was just so he was the one to hand it to Endo. Tanaka left the ring when Endo called out to him. Endo promised to hold onto the title long enough for them to have a rematch at Saitama Super Arena! He looks forward to standing across the ring from him again. For now there is no No. 1 Contender set in place so Endo wants all potential challengers to know he is the one who beat Masato Tanaka when nobody else in DDT could. He then gathered DAMNATION together for a their first group pose in months. Together they are the symbol of strength in DDT and they have most of the championships to prove it. Not just DAMNATION but all of #DAMNHEARTS too!
The only miss on #DAMNHEARTS’s record this weekend was in the KO-D Tag Team Titles match. The challengers T-Hawk & El Lindaman failed to beat the champions Nautilus. At points the #STRONGHEARTS team ran circles over their opponents, cutting Yuki Ueno away from Naomi Yoshimura. But the tables turned when Ueno used a Hurricanrana to throw T-Hawk into Lindaman, knocking him off the top rope. Ueno gave Lindaman an Avalanche Uranage and then the Osaka Trad for a nearfall. Ueno then hit the Frog Splash but didn’t go for the pin. Instead he used a new finisher, a forward flipping DDT called the WR to win the match. Ueno said he was happy to have a title match like this today. They twice couldn’t win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles from #DAMNHEARTS but today’s win shows how much progress Nautilus has made because of those matches. Maybe they’ll have another match and this time do it in OWE.
This wasn’t their original match for the show but HarashiMarufuji reunited for the first time in ages. MAO & Asuka proved to be a lot for them to handle. They hit Double Moonsaults out of the ring and Asuka threw both HARASHIMA & Naomichi Marufuji around with German Suplexes. The momentum shifted when HARASHIMA blocked Asuka’s Moonsault with his knees. Marufuji got rid of MAO with the Tiger King knee strike then stunned Asuka with a Trace Kick. HARASHIMA then crushed Asuka with the Somato to win. After the match they offered handshakes but Asuka slapped Marufuji across the face before leaving the ring. HARASHIMA told Marufuji he isn’t satisfied by today’s match. He wants to team with him again and go against the pair they were originally meant to fight: CIMA & Soma Takao!
All throughout the week, Danshoku Dieno and Makoto Oishi tried to have their Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title match over at the Ochanomizu Dojo. However one setback after another prevented the match from happening. Either Dieno forgot to turn off his stove, the referee never turned up, Oishi was busy babysitting or both wrestlers forgot their gear and weren’t allowed wrestle in the nude. After so many cancellations today was finally the day. Dieno waited in the ring for his opponent but Oishi never appeared. A text message came saying Oishi had to mind his baby again but he promised he would still make it. Yukinori Matsui and Hisaya Imabayashi couldn’t wait and wanted to cancel the match because it was eating into their ABEMA broadcast time. Dieno begged them not to. All he needed was three minutes and Oishi will be here. Memories of Dieno and Oishi together filled the screen when suddenly Oishi appears at the entrance! He sprints down to the ring but tripped over the steps, knocking himself out. Matsui then called off the match as Dieno looked on stunned.
Eruption defeated the NEO Itoh Respect Army in the intergender tag match. Maki Itoh avoided getting into the ring with Yukio Sakaguchi unless she was certain she had the advantage. Chris Brookes tried to help out but was met with a short range God’s Right Knee. Saki Akai then got rid of him with the Quetzalcoatl. Itoh showed one last act of defiance by giving Sakaguchi the middle finger. She got a Penalty Kick for her troubles before getting pinned.
The DDT Extreme Title match had no countouts to celebrate the relaxation of Tokyo’s outdoor restrictions. Shinya Aoki and Yukio Naya fought around the hallways of Shinjuku FACE, dragging Keigo Nakamura along for the ride. At one point they all moved past Maki Itoh who was warming up for her singing entrance. Aoki, Naya and Nakamura ended up back in the ring with Nakamura getting most of the beating. Aoki countered Naya’s Back Drop into a European Clutch to score his third successful defence.
The Tokyo Joshi Pro offer match saw Yuka Sakazaki, Miyu Yamashita & Shoko Nakajima defeat Rika Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino. The result was almost the opposite when Tenma & Aino gave Sakazaki the Bakuretsu Bulldog. Nakajima came in to even the numbers and with Sakazaki did a Double 619 to Aino. Yamashita knocked Aino silly with the Backspin Kick and Sakazaki got the three count right afterwards with the Magical Magical Girl Splash.
The longest match of the show by far was the opening contest between Antonio Honda and Toru Owashi. Before the match, Super Sasadango Machine sent a video message from Niigata announcing he would donate 100 yen to a medical workers charity for every Chop that happens in the match. Both Honda and Owashi promised to put their power and soul into their Chops for such a noble cause. They then spent the match lightly chopping and slapping each other’s chests while Shota kept count. The left the venue still chopping so the show moved on to Match #2. When that was over we saw Honda & Oishi chopping each other in the locker room. They decided to go get something to eat. After Match #4 they made it to Ebisuko Tavern but Ken Ohka refused to give them entry over social distancing guidelines. The Tavern is doing everything it can to run business safely so the last thing they want to do is let in two sweaty naked men slapping each other. Honda and Owashi agreed to get a take out meal but they also dragged Ohka along with them back to the venue. After Match #5 Honda and Owashi ate their take out meal in the locker room with a captive Ohka bound and gagged behind them. KUDO entered the room demanding money because nobody paid the 3,100 yen bill! KUDO agreed to chop Ohka 31 times instead, bringing the total number of Chops thrown to 1,000! Everyone agreed to end the match there resulting in 100,000 yen being donated to charity in Sasadango’s name.

6. KO-D Challenger Sword: Kazusada Higuchi defeated Tetsuya Endo with the Goten (13:19). *Kazusada Higuchi wins Tetsuya Endo’s KO-D Challenger Sword.
The debut of DDT TV SHOW was an eventful one. Now that DDT can put together some kind of wrestling show every Saturday for the time being, a lot will happen to keep everybody on their toes away from an audience. Take the main event for example. The KO-D Challenger Sword now belongs to Kazusada Higuchi after he defeated Tetsuya Endo. There was a close call when the Goten was countered into a Reverse DDT. Endo followed up with a Canadian Destroyer but missed the Shooting Star Press. Higuchi struck Endo from behind with a Lariat and used the Goten to put him away.
Now Higuchi will wait for the next KO-D Openweight Title match to happen. Masato Tanaka is supposed to defend the belt against Yukio Sakaguchi. Higuchi is supporting Sakaguchi to win and become champion so Eruption will completely take over the main event scene as DDT’s strongest wrestlers! It is their goal to have an Eruption Vs Eruption match for the title. Higuchi also brought up support for Saki Akai to finish her Okibariyasu series with a winning record. Backstage, a defeated Endo swore he will win the KO-D Title from Tanaka even if he no longer has the sword to grant him the title shot.
Antonio Honda used the powers of yoga to get his DDT UNIVERSAL Title shot but there was no signs of tranquility coming from him come match time. He brawled with Daisuke Sasaki around Shinjuku FACE, I mean the DDT TV SHOW Studio. The fight went over to the bar where Pokotan was working. Sasaki stole some beers from Pokotan but Honda poured them over his face. Sasaki left Honda outside to get counted out but Honda returned just in time to trip on the ropes and begin his Gongitsune story. Sasaki stopped him with a Sleeper Hold. Still, Honda used Gongitsune to free himself. The challenger used a Japanese Leg Roll Clutch for a nearfall. When Sasaki kicked out he rolled Honda into the Crossover Facelock to earn the submission victory and his first UNIVERSAL Title defence.
A tired Sasaki gave his opponent credit and wondered if he should leave DAMNATION to reunite the Monster Army with Honda. He quickly forgot about the idea and said he will defend his title against anybody. Chris Brookes came out and challenged Sasaki. He said (in English) he had his fun earlier and now was the time to get serious. Sasaki cheated to win the belt from him so he deserves a rematch. Sasaki told Brookes (in Japanese) he doesn’t understand English that much and he will only defend the title against Japanese wrestlers. Brookes gave Sasaki the Praying Mantis Bomb to put a stamp on his challenge.
MAO won the 3 Way Match thanks to some help from Yoshihiko of all people/wrestlers/things. The finish to the 3 Way saw Konosuke Takeshita setting up Naomi Yoshimura for the German Suplex when the room went dark. The lights switched back on to reveal Yoshihiko swapped places with Yoshimura! The doll Choke Slammed Takeshita and MAO hit the Cannonball 450 to win. Akito called out Yoshihiko for attacking ALL OUT throughout the show. He challenged Yoshihiko to a singles match for next week.
Pokotan was eager to fight Maki Itoh so it could stick up the middle fingers at her. Itoh fake cried to distract the mascot and then bit its tail. Pokotan fired up when its giant head got knocked off. It went wild attacking Itoh until Brookes threw the head at it. Brookes gave Pokotan the Praying Mantis Bomb then held HARASHIMA back while Itoh wore the head and won the match with the Flying Big Head.
At some point over the last month, Danshoku Dieno and Akito filmed an empty arena match in Ochanomizu Dojo. The match never saw the light of day because Dieno’s antics were too outrageous for public viewing. A rematch took place in the same room for this show with the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title on the line. Dieno wants to set the record for the most title defences so he is now writing a list of who he beats. During the match, somebody grabbed Akito’s leg from the ring apron. Dieno stopped a Figure 4 Leg Lock with a Low Blow then pinned Akito with a Small Package to win. The broadcast then replayed the match using a manga style presentation called “Grappling Apocalypse Akito”. It explained in detail why every moment of this 2 minute long match went the way it did. One detail was the reveal that it was Keigo Nakamura who tripped Akito.
Before the first match took place, Yuki Iino went to use the bathroom and found a note written by Yoshihiko that said “ALL OUT All Dead”. Iino was determined to beat his opponent after this but ultimately failed. Yoshihiko countered an Argentine Backbreaker into a Sleeper Hold then turned that into the Reincarnation. By winning the match, Yoshihiko now claims the black Right To Challenge Gauntlet. Thus begins the first angle to come out of DDT TV SHOW: Yoshihiko Vs ALL OUT!
