5a. Rematch: Magnitude Kishiwada defeated Ken Ohka with an Arm Lock (3:22).

For Ganbare☆Wrestling’s visit to Osaka, Ken Ohka wanted to face the strongest wrestler the city has. That’s where Magnitude Kishiwada comes in. The Osaka brute bloodied Ohka with a chairshot and took his best moves before dropping him with the Last Ride and winning with a Chicken Wing Armlock submission. Kishiwada ran down Ohka on the microphone afterwards and asked if he was still feeling motivated. Ohka despite being beaten down said that he could still wrestle for another hour or two. He can fight Kishiwada again right now! An immediate rematch was agreed to and the bell rang. Kishiwada hit a Moonsault and went for another Last Ride. Ohka escaped the move and hit the Fire Spear for a nearfall. Kishiwada hit back with a Lariat and the Diving Body Press but Ohka kicked out of the pin. Kishiwada grabbed Ohka’s arm again and pulled it back in an Arm Lock. The match was stopped and the seconds at ringside broke up the hold. Kishiwada ran down Ohka again. He doesn’t care that Ohka does his best because he does his best dozens of times, hundreds of times and thousands of times better than Ohka! He left Ohka in the ring to soak in the defeat. Ohka was upset over being so weak but he will not give up. It is a stupid idea but he will not give up so the next time he comes to Osaka he can beat Kishiwada! Those words brought Kishiwada back out. Is Ohka being honest? Would he fight Kishiwada over and over in any venue until he can win even if Kishiwada breaks his arms? Ohka told him he would but Kishiwada walked off as he was speaking. Kishiwada complained that Ohka was being noisy but suggested that maybe they will have a rematch again some day.

The match between HARUKAZE and Miyako Matsumoto took a break so both women could have a talk show style conversation about divorce. Daisuke Kiso was invited into the talk and he revealed this year is the 10th anniversary of his divorce from his first marriage. Matsumoto attacked HARUKAZE to continue the match. Ken Ohka entered the ring and announced due to strong demand that the match was now taking place under “Flag Koda” rules. Both women were given a single boxing glove and the first one to punch Koda would win. However Kiso was handed a bat to defend himself with. Kiso fought off Matsumoto with the bat but turned around and took a punch from HARUKAZE. Ohka declared HARUKAZE the winner. He praised both of them for a great match. Ohka encouraged HARUKAZE to continue being the ace of Ganbare☆Joshi and also wished Matsumoto luck on her upcoming championship match in Ice Ribbon.

Yumehito Imanari and Takeshi Okada kept fighting after Match #2. When they were kept apart, Shuichiro Katsumura asked Imanari how he feels about his current losing streak. He doesn’t mind if he continues beating him in matches and challenged Imanari to a 3 Vs 3 match on 21st March. Katsumura will bring along his regular Katsumura-gun partners Takeshi Okada and Black Ribera to be on his team.

Takaku Fuke gave Gota Ihashi some words of encouragement after their match.

7a. Replay: Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Shunma Katsumata defeated Shuji Ishikawa, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie when Takeshita pinned Paulie with a Lariat (7:46).

It was an eventful week for Konosuke Takeshita. A few days ago he graduated from university and today was his first match back from a minor back injury. Unfortunately Shuji Ishikawa was there ready and waiting to make his comeback a painful one. Ishikawa’s plan is simple. Injure Takeshita so badly that he cannot make it to Sumo Hall. Then Ishikawa will become the KO-D Openweight Champion by default and instead of a match at “JUDGEMENT 2018” he can sing and dance with Mad Paulie for an hour to close out the show. DAMNATION attacked ALL OUT to start the main event and Ishikawa kept attacking Takeshita with a chair until the referee disqualified him. Akito & Shunma Katsumata pulled Ishikawa away but were knocked back by his Double Shoulder Block. When Ishikawa turned around, Takeshita was there to Clothesline him out of the ring. The match restarted as a 6-Man Tag bout with Katsumata & Tetsuya Endo added in. Takeshita’s waist took a lot of damage throughout but he gutted it through and beat Mad Paulie with a Lariat. Takeshita said his body is in a lot of bad places right now but his heart isn’t broken. It is thanks to ALL OUT and the cheers of his fans that he still stands.

If you get hit by the Somato enough times you will eventually figure out a way to counter it. That’s the eureka moment Kazusada Higuchi discovered today. He avoided the move and caught HARASHIMA in a Japanese Leg Roll Clutch for the unexpected pinfall victory. Higuchi told HARASHIMA the battle will continue in Osaka tomorrow and he will beat him there too. Then at Sumo Hall he will win the KO-D Tag Team Titles from HARASHIMA & Naomichi Marufuji to stand tall in the centre of DDT!

Tetsuya Endo’s confrontation with The Great Homo was chaotic. Homo dragged Endo under the ring then he chased him around ringside. Endo tried to fight him off with his high impact moves but couldn’t succeed. Homo brought a chair into the ring and hit the Shining Ateji while Endo was sitting on it. Homo then drank milk to power up the Lip Lock but Endo gave him the Lip Lock instead! The effects didn’t last and Homo applied the Lip Lock back to Endo, sending him bumping into the referee. The match was stopped and no winner was determined. Homo continued to attack Endo and also Mizuki Watase when Watase tried to stop him. Homo pulled down the back of Watase’s shorts and spat the milk mist at him. That was when the room went dark and Nerima Sting appeared! Nerima Sting attacked Homo with the black bat and gave him the Scorpion Death Drop. He then pulled Homo out of the ring and dragged him out of the building.

The DNA team showed no fear against Shuten-dōji and attacked them from the bell. Tomomitsu Matsunaga was the obvious odd man out in the Shuten-dōji. His presence in the match was ironic given that Masahiro Takanashi previously said the DNA team should be calling themselves Pigging 2018. Umeda pinned Matsunaga but the action didn’t end after the match. A staredown between the two was interrupted by a Yukio Sakaguchi Dropkick to Umeda and Yuki Ueno from out of nowhere. A brawl between the two sides began and ended with another staredown.

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title was back at a DDT show for Super Sasadango Machine’s latest defence. During his time away from shows, Sasadango lost and won back the belt twice. Once to a food employee and another to the singer Kaede from the music group Negicco. Today the belt was on the line in a special Royal Rumble where the wrestlers were entered in order of their age. The wrestlers in their 20’s began the match, then the wrestlers in their 30’s entered next, then the wrestlers in their 40’s. Saki Akai didn’t like being put in the 30’s group but she had to because she turned 30 back in January. MAO was the last man standing and he pinned Sasadango to become the new champion. But his celebration was short lived when Sanshiro Takagi gave him a School Boy and won the belt. He told MAO he will blow him up at Sumo Hall but he was then Super Kicked by Soma Takao. Takao Cradled Takagi into a Small Package for the three count. Takao then admitted he isn’t that interested in being the Iron Man Champion. But he is looking forward to teaming with Yuko Miyamoto for the Sumo Hall Falls Count Anywhere Match!

There was no love lost between Keisuke Ishii and Daisuke Sasaki in their match. Sasaki ambushed Ishii and attacked him with a chair but Ishii later evened the odds by giving Sasaki a Fisherman Buster onto the ring apron. Sasaki knocked over the referee to avoid the Tiger Suplex and went to get a chair. Ishii was rescued by The Great Homo who came out from beneath the ring. Homo blinded Sasaki with the Milk Mist and hit him with the Shining Ateji. Ishii grabbed Sasaki and hit the Double Arm DDT as the referee recovered to get the win.

Ethan Page and Antonio Honda are teaming together to enter the Tag Gauntlet Match at “JUDGEMENT 2018”. Page wants to fight Naomi Yoshimura in the match to prove he is stronger than him.

6. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) defeated Maho Kurone with the Crash Rabbit Heat (12:55).
*V3 for Miyu Yamashita.

A terrifying challenge lay ahead for Miyu Yamashita. It was definitely her most dangerous TOKYO Princess Title defence to date as Maho Kurone used a chair to beat up the champion. However, Yamashita saw an opportunity when Kurone was arguing with the referee over the chair usage. Yamashita grabbed Kurone and gave her a Backbreaker onto the edge of the chair! Kurone wasn’t beaten yet and she kicked out of a German Suplex. Yamashita unleashed a bunch of kicks and a Missile Dropkick to weaken the zombie. Kurone withstood the attacks and was trying to stand back up until Yamashita struck her with a Buzzsaw Kick. Finally, Kurone was defeated with the Crash Rabbit Heat.

After the main event Yamashita called it a crazy match because she fought a zombie armed with a chair. But it was fun and another reason why Tokyo Joshi Pro gives her the best companions and rivals. Rika Tatsumi stepped into the ring and said she is disappointed because she wanted to see her friend Kurone change the world today. Tatsumi wants to help Tokyo Joshi to grow and become more exciting. Even though she has lost several title matches already, she wants to be Yamashita’s next challenger even though she is a loser. Yamashita told Tatsumi she isn’t a loser and is cooler than she thinks. To prove it, Yamashita will give her a title shot at Korakuen Hall on 3rd May! Tatsumi promised to win but Yamashita warned she is still stronger than her.

Marika Kobashi was left frustrated after another loss to NEO Biishiki-gun. She gave Azusa Christie a Bulldog Headlock but Christie held on to her and rolled her into a Cradle for the flash three count. Kobashi refused to accept defeat and said she will continue to fight them. Christie called her rude. Saki-sama joined in and added a bunch of insults. If Saki is a swan flying in the sky then Kobashi is a crow inside a trash can. If Saki is a beautiful and blooming rose then Kobashi is a fake flower selling for 5 yen. Saki-sama promoted her friend Saki Akai’s show being held next week and then left.

Maki Itoh wanted to go at full speed against Rika Tatsumi, going as far as to shout her intentions out loud as she ran the ropes. That gave Tatsumi the idea to target her legs. Itoh fought out of the Figure 4 Leglock and applied a Crab Hold but Tatsumi reached the ropes and told her the move was ineffective. Itoh avoided a DDT and Headbutted Tatsumi but Tatsumi returned fire with a Hip Attack. She then hit the Dragon Twist Of Fate and a Diving Hip Attack to win.

Yuki Kamifuku played dumb to avoid getting involved in the action during the 3 Way Match, calling the idea too dangerous for her. When Yuka Sakazaki and Nodoka-oneesan turned their attention to her, she acted like she was being forced to fight in a Handicap Match against both of them and cowered away. She then attacked them when they dropped their guard. However Sakazaki fought back and pinned her with the Magical Girl Splash.

6. 1st Sanshiro Takagi DNA SUPER TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 1: Kouki Iwasaki & Ryota Nakatsu defeated Kota Umeda & Shunma Katsumata when Iwasaki pinned Katsumata with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster (15:04).

Round 1 is in the books and is highlighted by the DNA/BASARA combination of Kouki Iwasaki & Ryota Nakatsu beating Kota Umeda & Shunma Katsumata. Nakatsu drilled Katsumata with a Head Kick then threw him over with a Dragon Suplex. Iwasaki finished him off with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster for the three count.

The Naomi Kingdom had mixed results in the first round but their presence was felt for sure. Naomi Yoshimura & Akiro Jo eliminated Gran MilliMeters to advance to the semi final. However Keisuke Okuda & Kengo got themselves disqualified against Yuki Ueno & Koju Takeda. Okuda & Kengo kept assaulting their opponents until the referee tried to stop them. They turned their attacks to the referee and got themselves DQ’ed as a result.

Choun-Shiryu & Rekka were plagued by bumping into each other multiple times late in the opening match. Rising HAYATO got them to collide one more time and MAO hit Rekka with the Michinoku Driver I to win the match. Shiryu & Rekka argued with each other as they walked away from the ring. Backstage Rekka says Taiwan and China do not match. He now hates Chinese people and doesn’t want to team with a Chinese wrestler ever again!

The semi-finals on 5th April are MAO & Rising HAYATO Vs Naomi Yoshimura & Akiro Jo and Yuki Ueno & Koju Takeda Vs Kouki Iwasaki & Ryota Nakatsu. MAO said his team will control DNA with young power. HAYATO usually doesn’t get many chances to wrestle inside Shin-Kiba 1st RING. He wants to win the tournament so he can wrestle there more often. Nakatsu told everyone he is only here to win the prize money.

Minoru Tanaka used his match against Mizuki Watase to prepare for his GHC Jr. Tag Team Title shot at the 11th March NOAH show. He went through his normal preparation by eating bento steak before the match. He was impressed by Watase and even believed he could have lost to him. Tanaka said he would like to wrestle him again then came up with an idea to have a tag team match next time. He is available to appear at “DNA 43” on 5th April.
