1. Makoto Oishi defeated Toui Kojima with the Miracle Ecstasy (7:03).
2. Danshoku Dieno & Sanshiro Takagi Vs Akito & Keigo Nakamura ended in a No Contest (6:19).
3. Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai defeated Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Yuya Koroku when Higuchi pinned Koroku with a Shoulder Tackle (9:30).
4. 5 Count Fall Rule: Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Endo pinned Hirata with a Hip Toss (0:18).
4a. Rematch: Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Endo pinned Hirata with the Shooting Star Press (0:18).
5. Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Yuji Hino defeated HARASHIMA, Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya when Sasaki pinned Iino with the Sasaki Hurricanrana (12:55).
6. Asakusa Specialty! Hana Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & MAO defeated Jun Akiyama, Hideki Okatani & Yusuke Okada when Ueno pinned Okatani with the BME (18:34).

DDT welcomed two guests from NOAH over to their show today. Kaito Kiyomiya & Yoshiki Inamura sat at ringside to watch Yuki Ueno in the main event. After the match Ueno called them to approach the ring and meet him face to face. They did and things remained calm between the two sides. Kiyomiya said backstage that he wanted to see something from his opponents before “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” takes place in June. He could sense Ueno’s feelings just from looking at him so he has a lot of info to analyze from that alone. Inamura is disappointed that Konosuke Takeshita wasn’t there but that won’t stop him hitting the guy with all his power when the match happens.

Both Chris Brookes and Saki Akai are keeping an eye on each other. Brookes thought he was going to push Akai up another gear today but understands it wasn’t necessary. All he wants to know is if the one in a hundred chance of Akai beating him will show up at Korakuen Hall next month. Akai does wish she did more in the ring today and wonders if she should think more selfishly. She knows she won’t become a double champion if she can’t surpass Brookes’ strength.

Keigo Nakamura met with Hisaya Imabayashi to ask for a shot at the KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles. When he said his team is all of the young DDT rookies (Nakamura, Hideki Okatani, Toui Kojima & Yuya Koroku), Imabayashi refused because the four of them have no track record as a team. Nakamura then challenged Sanshiro Takagi directly and he was turned down for the same reason. Akito encouraged Takagi to change his mind but couldn’t get him to do so. Their tag match was then called off when Nakamura followed Danshoku Dieno’s advice to a hilt and both tried to get naked in the ring to show how passionate they are. Imabayashi accepted Nakamura’s argument that he was being passionate and ordered Takagi to accept the challenge.

6. KO-D Openweight Title: Jun Akiyama (c) defeated Danshoku Dieno with the Chinko Clutch Exploder Suplex (23:37).
*V2 for Jun Akiyama.

There was one message Danshoku Dieno wanted to give the DDT fans today. If DDT is Shonen Jump then Dieno wants to be Gataro☆Man! The audience was warned that Dieno would be giving everyone the middle finger during his entrance so they were encouraged to do it back to him. He had his own crew with him too while Jun Akiyama was backed by the rest of Junretsu. Dieno’s wrestling style annoyed his opponent but couldn’t fully throw Akiyama off his game. A misfired Lip Lock took Yukinori Matsui out of action so Dieno called on Makoto Oishi to help him but Oishi was too conflicted to do anything. When Akiyama kicked out of a Moonsault, Dieno called upon the Video Team to play a video. It was of Dieno backstage telling a story to distract Akiyama in real time. That allowed Dieno to give Akiyama the Lip Lock and True Danshoku Driver for another nearfall. Dieno went extreme by pulling down the back of his tights and keeping them barely covering his modesty. He went for another Moonsault but Akiyama rolled out of the way. Fighting back against the sight of Dieno in his current state, Akiyama hit Knee Strikes and the Exploder but couldn’t put Dieno away. Akiyama had to grab Dieno by the crotch and give him the one of a kind Chinko Clutch Exploder Suplex for the victory.

Oishi rushed over to check on Dieno after the match. Dieno was able to get back up and bow to the audience before leaving, still with his gear barely covering him. Akiyama tried calling for Dieno to come back out but instead HARASHIMA walked down to the ring. HARASHIMA praised the champion for beating everyone DDT has thrown at him so far but Akiyama hasn’t defeated him yet. HARASHIMA loves DDT more than anyone else and he loves the KO-D Openweight Title the same way. Akiyama turned over to Hisaya Imabayashi and told him to book Akiyama Vs HARASHIMA on the biggest stage. He wants it on 6th June in Saitama Super Arena for “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021”! Akiyama also asked for a match against HARASHIMA & Yuji Okabayashi for the KO-D Tag Team Titles with Oishi as his partner. Okabayashi walked out and everyone found out the next DDT show he is available for is in Niigata on 18th April so they can do the tag title match there.

Smile Pissari became the new KO-D Tag Champions by beating Eruption. Okabayashi’s head was too large for Kazusada Higuchi to apply the Brain Claw on. Yukio Sakaguchi put HARASHIMA in the Sleeper Hold but he was low enough for Okabayashi to grab and pick up into a Power Bomb. HARASHIMA followed up with the Somato for the three count. He thanked Okabayashi and the support from the fans for helping him win today. Okabayashi celebrated by saying his catchphrase. “Pissari!” Backstage Eruption said they intend to get a title rematch by winning the Ultimate Tag League.

So it turns out Konosuke Takeshita is taking time away from DDT to wrestle in AEW. If he is in America to evolve then Shunma Katsumata wants to go to Finland to evolve his love of saunas. But first The 37KAMIINA were put in danger by DAMNATION. In particular, Yuki Ueno found out first hand how powerful Soma Takao can be. Meanwhile MAO was the one who had to deal with Yuji Hino by process of elimination. Daisuke Sasaki distracting the referee allowed Takao to give Ueno a Low Blow and from there he won with the Gin And Tonic. Takao called Ueno a weak champion and he should remember this for their DDT UNIVERSAL Title match on 4th May.

After six months away from wrestling, Naomi Yoshimura returned to announce his first match back. He’s been receiving treatment for his cervical injuries since November and he is cleared to wrestle again on 9th May. Yoshimura requested his former Nautilus partner Yuki Ueno to be his opponent for his return match.

Gorgeous Matsuno’s final wrestling match before his 60th birthday was a big deal. He came out wearing an outfit from his IWA Japan days. His match then ended in 24 seconds when Tetsuya Endo easily pinned him using a Headscissors. Imabayashi got angry at the result and called for a restart. The same Headscissors spot happened but this time Matsuno kicked out. He got to wrestle a full match pairing off with Endo, Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani. When things got tough for Matsuno, he tagged in Toru Owashi to keep the momentum going. Antonio Honda blinded Endo with Gongitsune, causing Endo to blindly give Shimatani the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb. Paulie was also blinded and he mistakenly squashed Shimatani with a Body Press. Matsuno got to do the Gorgeous Star Elbow and Honda followed up with the Diving Fist Drop for the win. Matsuno said he is thankful to continue wrestling into his 60s. However he didn’t become a pro wrestler until he was forty so he’s only been wrestling for 20 years. When he turns 60 next week it will be a new start for him. He wanted to continue his speech but Owashi took the microphone away from him.

There was a team of belt holders in the 8-Man Tag Match. Chris Brookes, Saki Akai and Yukio Naya are all champions. Yuki Iino brought out a regular belt to pose with them so he wouldn’t feel left out. Akai was singled out by Oishi & Akito until she was able to tag out. Kazuki Hirata jumped on Iino’s back and put the Hirata GO! glasses onto him to make him dance. Iino attacked everyone while dancing and then dropped Hirata with a Back Flip. Keigo Nakamura went for the Exquisite Springboard Moonsault onto Akai but Brookes pulled her out of harm’s way. Akai then pinned Nakamura with the Quetzalcoatl.

After the match Brookes and Akai shook hands. Akai then said she wanted to do something she’s been thinking about for a long time. She has previously won championships with Eruption and recently she’s been on the sideline watching her partners in singles title matches. She is currently the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion but she wants to fight for the DDT Extreme Title! Brookes agreed to the challenge and a Title Vs Title match between the two is booked for 4th May. Brookes hasn’t come up with a match stipulation yet but promises it will be something strange.

The debuting rookie Yuya Koroku was pitted against DDT’s latest signing Yusuke Okada. Koroku got to hit some Forearm Strikes, a Brainbuster and a Water Wheel Drop. Okada put him in a Crab Hold three times with the third time making Koroku submit. The two shook hands afterwards and Koroku bowed to the crowd. The rookie has been a trainee for around a year and a half but his training was paused for three months because of the pandemic. He wants to become bigger in size and make opponents say “I cannot beat Koroku.”

In the preshow match, Hideki Okatani beat the other rookie Toui Kojima. Okatani lead the match and provoked Kojima to attack him. He caught him with the Jumping Neckbreaker then used the Northern Lights Suplex for the finish.

At the start of the show Imabayashi announced the next KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles defence will happen on 4th May. Maki Itoh then promoted next weekend’s Tokyo Joshi Pro show at Korakuen Hall. She said the highlight will be her main eventing a Korakuen show for the first time in two years. There are other highlights but she thinks she is the best one.

1. Oishi & Okatani Produce Match “Okaya. Produce.”: Yuki Ueno & Kazuki Hirata defeated Makoto Oishi & Hideki Okatani when Hirata pinned Okatani with the Miracle One Shot Cradle (9:35).
2. Unprecedented Confrontation: Keisuke Ishii Vs MAO ended in a Double Countout (12:24).
3. Jun Masaoka Appeal For Entering Damne!? Assessment Match: Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao defeated Chris Brookes & Jun Masaoka when Endo pinned Masaoka with the Shooting Star Press (16:53).
4. BOYZ Annual DDT x Ganpro Exchange Match: Akito defeated Shota with a Gannosuke Clutch Cutback (15:38).
5. BOYZ Army Vs YaroZ Army Full Scale Special 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Shunma Katsumata & Toui Kojima defeated Antonio Honda, Yuki Iino & Keigo Nakamura when HARASHIMA pinned Nakamura with the Somato (16:29).

Today in Itabashi Green Hall there were two competing shows taking place at the same time. In the regular room on the 2nd Floor where the pro wrestling shows are held was the BOYZ show for women. The 1st Floor was the location of the YaroZ show for men. There would be invasions from both sides on both shows taking place throughout the day.

The main event of the BOYZ show was a 6-Man Tag between the two brands. The YaroZ team were confused from seeing only women in the audience when they entered the room. Yuki Iino tried to impress the audience with the Haka but got no response. Keigo Nakamura wrestled in a blonde wig that fell off when he did a Moonsault. Antonio Honda summoned his team to form a centaur but the attack fell apart when they crashed into the corner. Shunma Katsumata wiped out Honda & Iino with a dive to the outside, Toui Kojima planted Nakamura with the Full Nelson Buster and HARASHIMA hit the Somato to give the home team the victory.

The match between Akito and Shota was a clean and even wrestling match most of the way. They got tangled up in a Figure 4 Leg Lock that rolled its way out of the ring. Neither man wanted to break the hold but did so before they could get counted out. Shota sneakily grabbed a metal fitting from under the ring and hid it in Akito’s boot during a submission attempt. Daisuke Kiso later found the fitting in Akito’s boot and the distraction allowed Shota to take over with a Cradle nearfall. Shota then faked a leg injury to put Akito in position for the Gannosuke Clutch. Akito still countered the move into his own cradle to get the three count. The two shook hands after the match to show there were no hard feelings over what happened.

If Jun Masaoka genuinely wanted to join DAMNATION then he apparently failed the audition. Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao wouldn’t shake his hand before the match. Masaoka seems to make a good team with Chris Brookes anyway so maybe it’s not all that bad.

The BOYZ show crossed over into the YaroZ show during the Keisuke Ishii Vs MAO match. While they were fighting back and forth, the action took them up to the entrance and to the backstage area. Suddenly the Danshoku Dieno Vs Yukio Naya match from the YaroZ show made its way into the BOYZ show and those two fought their way into the ring. Ishii and MAO returned and the two matches got mixed up with each other until they both broke off out of the ring again. The end result was both matches ending in a double countout.

Kazuki Hirata wanted to give everyone a flashy start to the show and complained about Hideki Okatani being too plain. Makoto Oishi agreed and encouraged Okatani to do cooler moves before he would allow him to tag out. Okatani tried to do a Tornado DDT with a lot of appealing to the fans but Yuki Ueno threw him off easily. He then tried to do the High Fly Flow to Hirata but missed. Hirata easily pinned him afterwards.

Yusuke Okada was caught trying to sneak into the show during the opening introductions. He was dragged over to the YaroZ show. Toru Owashi was also there holding the KING OF BOYZ WRESTLING trophy he won at the last show. He was chased off by Yukio Sakaguchi and other YaroZ all wearing fundoshi.

Akito apologised to the audience after the show for the constant interruptions. He thinks sometimes it is okay for BOYZ and YaroZ to work together and he hopes the two sides can get along to do a single show together someday. It probably won’t be the next show though.

4. KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles: Sanshiro Takagi, Yukio Naya, Chikara & Nabe Yakan defeated Shinya Aoki, Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda & Kazuki Hirata (c) when Naya pinned Sasadango with the Back Drop (9:48).
*Shinya Aoki, Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda & Kazuki Hirata fails in V1. Team Thoroughbred becomes the 4th KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Champions!
5. DDT 24th Anniversary Special Single Match: HARASHIMA defeated Yukio Sakaguchi with the Somao (6:03).
6. DAMNATION Vs The 37KAMIINA: Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & MAO defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo, Yuji Hino & Mad Paulie when Takeshita pinned Paulie with the German Suplex (16:08).
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Jun Akiyama (c) defeated Kazusada Higuchi with a Running Knee Butt (21:10).
*V1 for Jun Akiyama.

The title reign can now get going for Jun Akiyama. He’s been on the losing end of a few tag matches after becoming champion but when it’s time to defend the KO-D Openweight Title, Akiyama showed you can ultimately count on him. Kazusada Higuchi kept to wrestling barefoot and using his sumo skills. Akiyama learned not to target Higuchi’s hard head so he instead went after his arm, hitting it off of the ring post while they fought outside the ring. Higuchi was still able to apply the Brain Claw but Akiyama used Knee Strikes to avoid getting slammed from the move. The Knee Strikes weakened Higuchi enough for the Wrist Clutch Exploder Suplex to be used. Higuchi kicked out at two so Akiyama pulled down his kneepad and hit another Running Knee Butt, this time to the back of Higuchi’s head. That pretty much knocked Higuchi out and he was pinned for the three count.

The deal made in the build up to the match was if Higuchi lost, he would finally start listening to Coach Akiyama’s orders. Akiyama ordered him to wrap the KO-D Title around his waist. Higuchi agreed, simply answering with “Hai!” He left the ring with Eruption’s help afterwards. With him dealt with, Akiyama can now move on from all of his defeats from the D-Ou Grand Prix. He then wondered if Danshoku Dieno, the other DDT wrestler who has been critical of Akiyama’s new role, would come and face him.

Dieno did so and wouldn’t stop staring at Akiyama’s waist. Akiyama asked what was Dieno looking at, the belt or his body? Dieno said both. DDT has now been around for 24 years and Dieno has been with them for less than 20. He doesn’t know everything about DDT but he is attached to the KO-D Title. He named many of the wrestlers who are former KO-D Champions throughout the years: Poison Sawada JULIE, Sanshiro Takagi, Takashi Sasaki, MIKAMI, Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega, Shigehiro Irie, Hikaru Sato, Masahiro Takanashi, Ken Ohka, HARASHIMA, Yukio Sakaguchi, KUDO, Konosuke Takeshita and Tetsuya Endo. They all fought for DDT and bring it to where it is today. Dieno has kept his feelings to himself for so long. Now is the time for him to let them out and take back the KO-D Title he loves so much! Hisaya Imabayashi accepted Dieno’s request and he will get a title shot on 11th April. Dieno was a little annoyed that the match isn’t booked for the next supercard but he gets it. DDT doesn’t expect him to win. He tapped the title belt around Akiyama’s waist and then tapped him in the crotch for good measure before leaving with his middle fingers sticking out. What’s more is now Makoto Oishi is in a conflicting position. Does he side with Akiyama or Dieno?

The supercard mentioned above is “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021” which is confirmed to be taking place this summer. It will be held at Fujitsu Stadium Kawasaki on 21st August, marking the first time a “WRESTLE PETER PAN” show is taking place outdoors. And yes, this is the same location where FMW ran their famous anniversary shows during the nineties. Technically not the same venue because it’s been redeveloped a lot since then though.

The announcement got The 37KAMIINA excited and motivated enough to win their first match as a complete group. Takeshita dumped Mad Paulie with the Last Ride. Yuki Ueno & MAO then launched Shunma Katsumata into the air for him to land a Splash on Paulie for a two count. Paulie fought back until Takeshita put him away with the German Suplex.

HARASHIMA and Sakaguchi faced off in a preview of their KO-D Tag Team Titles match on 11th April. They went hard at each other with Middle Kicks and High Kicks. Sakaguchi hit the God’s Right Knee but HARASHIMA staggered him back with a Jumping High Kick. That gave him the space to hit the Somato and win. HARASHIMA said he was happy to have a singles match like this on DDT’s 24th anniversary. He considers Sakaguchi to be from the same generation as him so working together today gave him more encouragement. That thought stuck with him more than the tag title match preview.

Takagi lived up to his promise to make Team Thoroughbred the new KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Champions. The defending champions Shinya Aoki, Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda & Kazuki Hirata all tried doing the Bionic Elbow at the same time but it failed. Team Thoroughbred then all tried doing Saber Chops to Sasadango and it succeeded, with Nabe Yakan doing a jumping version. Yukio Naya then pinned Sasadango with the Back Drop to win the titles. Chikara dedicated the win to his father Mitsuo Momota. He is currently hospitalized with an illness. Chikara knows his title win today will cheer up his father and be a driving force for his recovery. Backstage Takagi said Team Thoroughbred will ultimately have seven members and he hopes to create a 14-Man Tag Team Championship for them to win.

Oishi’s conflict over choosing between Akiyama and Dieno is because he wants to fight for what’s right to him. That means not doing any of Dieno’s usual strategies when they teamed up. Oishi kept taking their trios match seriously, calling on the ref to stop Dieno from grabbing crotches and preventing Toru Owashi from entering the ring because they were not using lucha tag rules. Dieno tried teaming with Saki Akai instead but it just wasn’t the same. Oishi finally gave in and Dieno went into the Hell Gate position. Oishi tried to throw his opponents into Dieno but he was easily overpowered and his face was pushed into Dieno’s backside. The lights flashed to show that Oishi was now in a zombie state! Akai got rid of Owashi & Akito while Dieno pinned Keigo Nakamura with the Gaydo Clutch. The lights flickered again and Oishi came back to his senses.

Soma Takao put Hideki Okatani through the ringer. He provoked him by showing off his KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Title belt. He threw him into the security barrier a lot and Body Slammed him onto the floor. Okatani didn’t get counted out and fought back, hitting the Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Takao hit a counter Elbow Strike and won with the Gin And Tonic.

Now that he is full time with DDT, Yusuke Okada is quickly making new contacts. His first time team up with Yuki Iino went well. Iino eliminated Chris Brookes with a Spear. That gave Okada all the space he needed to submit Toui Kojima with a Crab Hold. Okada wants the DDT fans to keep their eyes on him.

A mysterious email was sent to the DDT office regarding the BOYZ show on 4th April. The email claims to be sent from Jun Masaoka and is demanding a tag match between him & Brookes against Tetsuya Endo & Takao at the BOYZ show. However the email address matches that used by DAMNATION whenever they send threatening messages to match makers. Okada asked if he could also be on the BOYZ show but Imabayashi told him he is already booked for YaroZ that same day.

The five teams entering Ultimate Tag League 2021 are Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi (representing Eruption), Jun Akiyama & Makoto Oishi (representing Junretsu), Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata (representing The 37KAMIINA), Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda (representing Europe) and Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino (representing DAMNATION).

2a. Rematch: Danshoku Dieno, Toru Owashi & Yukio Naya defeated Akito, Saki Akai & Kazuki Hirata when Naya pinned Hirata after a Crushed Body Slam (5:36).
3. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Hideki Okatani with the Walls Of Takeshita (11:04).
4. The 37KAMIINA Vs DAMNATION!: Soma Takao, Yuji Hino & Mad Paulie defeated Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Ueno & MAO when Paulie pinned Katsumata with the Reverse Splash (12:29).
5. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Antonio Honda & Yuki Iino when Endo pinned Honda with the Shooting Star Press (13:20).
6. Nagoya Specialty Doerya 6-Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & HARASHIMA defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Chris Brookes & Keigo Nakamura when HARASHIMA pinned Nakamura with the Somato (13:56).

Keigo Nakamura made his entrance wearing a handmade Jun Akiyama costume created out of paper. Needless to say, the real Akiyama got annoyed when he saw it and he tore it off Nakamura when they wrestled each other. HARASHIMA saw the bright side and gave kudos to Nakamura after the match. Akiyama though said he will never forgive him. He blamed Makoto Oishi for this and Oishi tried to pass the blame over to Kazusada Higuchi. Backstage Chris Brookes said that Higuchi is like a different person compared to the last time they teamed together when Higuchi was getting ready for a KO-D Openweight Title match. He bets Akiyama will probably be afraid of Higuchi. A defeated Nakamura promised he will become bigger than Akiyama some day.

There were some problems between Antonio Honda & Yuki Iino because Honda thought Iino was wasting his time doing the Haka before his moves. He tried to guide him into doing a Bionic Elbow but Iino went back to doing the Haka. He then argued with Honda and left the ring so Honda had to fight DAMNATION on his own. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo almost bullied Honda into submission when Iino returned wearing a Honda-like costume to rescue his tag partner! Honda & Iino successfully did the Bionic Elbow together and then tried the Haka together until Honda tripped and hurt his knee. It was to set up Gongitsune but DAMNATION recovered and got the win in the end.

Match #2 ended before Nagoya’s own Akito even had a chance to do anything. Hisaya Imabayashi demanded a complete restart, including the entrances so Akito could get the hometown hero treatment. Yukio Naya thought that was the perfect time to roll up Saki Akai and try to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Akai kicked out which counts as a successful defence outside of matches. Imabayashi got mad at this and told Naya and Kazuki Hirata to switch teams for the restart. Akito got to wrestle in the match this time and Hirata promised everyone Akito was going to do a Phoenix Splash! Akito climbed the turnbuckles but Hirata didn’t have the strength to Body Slam Naya. Instead Naya’s dead weight collapsed on top of Hirata and Hirata got pinned for the three count. A confused Akito remained standing on the top turnbuckle while everyone else left the ring. He then took the time to thank the fans for coming before quickly exiting the ring.

The young champion Yuki Ueno took another step up the DDT ladder in what turned out to be a big day for his group. The show began with the DDT Sauna Club revealing it has been renamed to The 37KAMIINA (pronounced “Sauna Kamiina”) to establish itself as a proper stable. Then in the main event, Ueno put the DDT UNIVERSAL Title on the line against Yusuke Okada. He went big with a Flying Hurricanara out of the ring then later kicked out of Okada’s newly named Tricolor. A Dropkick turned the match to his favour and Ueno won with the WR for his fourth defence. Ueno told Okada it was fun to wrestle him and he wants them to have more main events together. He also said The 37KAMIINA will work hard towards being a forwards thinking group in 2021.

The rest of the championship matches on the cards all had title changes. DAMNATION took the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles away from the Young Communication Generation. The defending champions tried using speed but hit a road bump when Yuji Hino got involved. Akito & Kazuki Hirata together couldn’t knock him off his feet and it was only with Shota’s help were they able to get him out of the ring. Tetsuya Endo had an exchange of submission counters with Akito until he wiped out everyone on the floor with the Sasuke Special. That left Shota alone with Soma Takao in the ring. They both ran the ropes and Takao got his strike in first with the Running Elbow Butt. That was enough to get him the three count and bring the belts back to DAMNATION! But they’re not too impressed with the title belts themselves. Backstage Daisuke Sasaki called them 100 yen belts. Endo suggested they leave them behind at the Suidobashi Station when they go home tonight. Takao is at least pleased he took the titles from those bottom feeders at Young Communication.

The Barbed Wire Casket Death Match was dangerous but Yukinori Matsui made sure it wasn’t too dangerous. He prohibited Chris Brookes from using a sickle he brought to the ring with him. All of the barbed wire boards, thumbtacks, ladders, construction signs, chairs and toy blocks were okay though. The casket used was covered in blocks and the barbed wire was found to be inside the casket when it was opened up. Shunma Katsumata also hid a few fire poppers in there to catch Brookes by surprise. Katsumata wasn’t the only person who appeared in Super Hardcore form. Konosuke Takeshita & MAO showed up dressed as druids with Joker facepaint to aid Katsumata with a Springboard Tornado DDT. Katsumata placed Brookes leaning over the casket and climbed the top rope. Brookes got out of the way and Katsumata’s Stuka Splash ended with him landing inside the casket. Brookes closed the lid on top and became the new DDT Extreme Champion! He hammered a few nails into the lid to close the casket shut for good measure. He is very much looking forward to defending the Extreme Title in stupid ways because that is the Dramatic Dream Team way!

The pressure is growing between Jun Akiyama and Kazusada Higuchi as we get closer to their KO-D Openweight Title match. Today Higuchi decided to wrestle barefoot and fought with Akiyama outside the ring. He was thrown head first into the ring post and no sold it. Akiyama did get him off his feet with an Exploder onto the floor. Yukio Sakaguchi intercepted Akiyama with an Apron PK but then Makoto Oishi took out Sakaguchi with a low Dropkick. All four men were unable to get back into the ring and the match ended in a Double Countout. Higuchi thinks now the situation is starting to get interesting. Akiyama is getting serious now, which is what Higuchi has been hoping for all along. He thinks they have to fight this way otherwise it wouldn’t be interesting.

Former stablemates Takeshita and Yuki Iino now have to be opponents for the 4 Way Tag. It’s a chance for new directions and Takeshita proved that by deciding to cooperate with Sasaki when it was offered to him! Iino went wild with Spears, using it to take out Toru Owashi, MAO and then a double one to Sasaki & Mad Paulie. Takeshita made Iino spear Yukio Naya by accident then dropped him with the Last Ride. However HARASHIMA then hit Takeshita with a High Kick and ran away with the win by pinning Iino with the Somato.

In a match that would be a main event in any library around the world, The Young Bucks autobiography “Killing The Business” got its chance to reclaim the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title from Saki Akai’s photo book “Lip Hip Shake”. But first DDT had to get “Lip Hip Shake” away from Gota Ihashi’s possession. He refused to let it go backstage so Antonio Honda had to knock him out. The match began with the two books squaring off much like Go Shiozaki and Kazuyuki Fujita did. The match was interrupted when Ihashi ran out armed with a plastic spoon. He stabbed Danshoku Dieno with it, then stabbed “Killing The Business” to protect his photo book. Nothing will come between Ihashi and Akai’s photo book, not even the real Akai herself! He knocked her down and climbed the ropes for a Moonsault but Akai rolled out of the way and Ihashi went splat. Dieno gave Akai the Danshoku Driver but was then attack by the photo book! Dieno was almost pinned until Keigo Nakamura broke it up. He placed “Lip Hip Shake” on the canvas and did the Exquisite Springboard Moonsault onto it. Nobody was there to stop the pin and Nakamura became the new Iron Man Champion!

Nakamura wanted to celebrate winning his first ever championship but he got distracted by “Lip Hip Shake”. He gave it a read in the ring and suddenly found himself experiencing an embarrassing moment in public. Akai took advantage and hit the Rookie Award to pin Nakamura and become the new Iron Man Champion. She ran off with the belt, her photo book and Ihashi chasing after her. Backstage Honda said it felt like he was teaming with two Saki Akai’s out there. He also found out the price for other copies of the photo book have risen on Mercari ever since it showed up in DDT.

In the pre-show match, Hideki Okatani defeated Toui Kojima. The had a meeting of chops and elbow strikes that ended with Okatani using a Running Neckbreaker. He then got the win with the Northern Lights Suplex.

Sanshiro Takagi came out after the death match to reveal his team for the KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles match on 28th March. His first partner is Yukio Naya, who was busy cleaning up the ring when he found out. Takagi explained that the most important thing in pro wrestling is not physical or technical ability. The most important thing is bloodlines! So Takagi’s team is made up of wrestlers who come from successful families. Naya is one because of his yokozuna grandfather. The second partner is Chikara, the grandson of Rikidozan! Last but not least, filling out the team is comedian Nabe Yakan, whose father was also a successful comedian from the Showa era. Takagi promised to protect these noble bloodlines as they unite to win the 8-Man Tag Titles. Together this team is called Team Thoroughbred!

23 year old trainee Yuya Koroku was introduced to the audience at the start of the show. He will have his debut match on 11th April. He promised to spend the next month working hard preparing for his debut.

Ten years ago the Great East Japan Earthquake happened. When DDT ran their Korakuen Hall show that month, they decided not to record an intro video for the show to preserve energy. Instead the show intro took place live in the ring with all of the wrestlers entering and posing when their match was announced. For the 10th anniversary, DDT did the same thing for today’s show.

3b. Rematch: HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Antonio Honda defeated Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi when Honda pinned Hiroshi with the Diving Fist Drop (5:52).
4. ALL OUT FINAL FIGHT: Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Iino defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Akito when Katsumata pinned Akito with the ¡Hasta la vista! (28:52).

Today was the final day of ALL OUT, the unit that has been around in DDT for four years. All of its members have taken different directions for their careers and agreed the time has come for most of them to go their separate ways. Just as the unit name suggests, ALL OUT gave it their all and kept burning until the end. That was shown in the main event when the four full time members faced off in a tag match lasting half an hour. Before the match began everyone was treated to video messages from the international members of ALL OUT. Diego, Space Monkey and Royce Chambers all sent their thanks to the group for taking care of them when they were in Japan.

The match itself went full force. Yuki Iino put Konosuke Takeshita through a table with the Spear. Takeshita fired back with the Last Ride for a nearfall but his attempt at bringing back the Fable was blocked with a mid-air Spear. Shunma Katsumata and Akito then went on a sprint until all four wrestlers got into Elbow Strike exchanges. Iino got Takeshita out of the ring while Katsumata peppered Akito with Super Kicks. Katsumata then wrapped the ALL OUT flag around his waist and did the Stuka Splash for a nearfall. For the ending, Katsumata yelled out Diego’s name and did Diego’s finisher the VHS onto the flag. He then pinned Akito with the ¡Hasta la vista! to win.

Takeshita got on the mic after the match. He said ALL OUT began with just him and Akito, then Diego joined. It wasn’t a unit put together to make friends but for each member to improve each other. The proof today is in how strong Katsumata & Iino have become. Takeshita admitted he was against Katsumata joining the group because he wasn’t very good at the time but now he is like a different person! Takeshita was also the person who told Iino to start using the Haka Elbow so he has to take the responsibility for that one. Akito repeated that he and Takeshita pushed each other upwards. He hopes Katsumata & Iino will go crazy in more ways from now on so they can all say this break up was not a mistake. Iino talked about being in ALL OUT ever since his debut. He has been part of the unit for pretty much his entire career so he has nothing but gratitude towards the other members. He thanked them for keeping ALL OUT alive for him when he was sidelined with a back injury. Katsumata said similar for the times he was out of action with his orbital bone injuries. ALL OUT has ended but their goals will be the same. Katsumata wants all four of them to make a new history and he won’t lose to any of them from now on either!

The planned 3 Way Tag Match was changed into a special 6-Man Tag Team match by Hisaya Imabayashi. According to the GM, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao strongly requested the match to be turned into a Smile Squash Vs Happy Motels double reunion. It all turned out to be a ruse when Endo & Takao attacked everyone including the referee, causing the match to end in a No Contest. HARASHIMA demanded the original 3 Way Tag Match take place instead but that also got thrown out when Daisuke Kiso got knocked down again, this time by Antonio Honda & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi when their team fell apart. HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano tended to Honda while Hiroshi sided with Endo & Takao in an alliance he named YOGANATION. An impromptu 6-Man Tag then happened but Endo & Takao turned on Hiroshi. They left him for dead with a Double Super Kick and Honda did the Diving Fist Drop on Hiroshi for the three count.

Takeshita & Akito were able to get a win earlier in the show. Their last trios match with Katsumata was a victory against wrestlers they have associations with: Takeshita with Yuki Ueno, Katsumata with Chris Brookes and Akito with Shota. The match had no tags needed to keep things fast and frantic. Brookes was dispatched with a Super Kick/Zahi combo, Takeshita countered Ueno’s WR into the Surprise Rose and Akito made Shota submit to the Goliath Birdeater.

Iino opened the show with another chance to try and beat the unbeatable Yuji Hino. He showed no intimidation towards his rival, performing the Haka on the ramp when Hino walked out for his entrance. Iino put too much focus into using the Spear. When he hit it, Hino kicked out. Then by that point Hino had the move scouted and used Short Range Lariats to stop further attempts of the move. Iino was down and defeated when Hino hit a Diving Body Press.

The Hiragana Muscle brand is growing with today’s show being the first of two performances being held this month. There’s a problem though. Yuki Rock and South River Minamikawa want to know why is Muscle not included in the big “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” event taking place on 6th June? Joining in with the complaint is RAM RIDER, the musician who has been producing the songs used in Muscle’s musical acts. He believes the 2.9 Dimensional Pro Wrestling concept is still lacking in the music department because the wrestlers can’t sing, they can only lip sync. That problem was suddenly put on hold when the crew received a phone call. RAM’s father has fallen ill and is in critical condition. What follows is the “Story Of RAM’s House”.

Rock, Minamikawa & Amon Tsurumi were entered the ring to introduce the show. Tsurumi talked about becoming the DDT General Manager again, Rock mentioned losing his access to New Japan and being blacklisted by the company after he started appearing on Muscle shows. He demanded to be made the Muscle GM then challenged another comedian Kuniko Yamada to fight over who gets to be the NOAH GM. Tsurumi changed topics back to RAM RIDER’s situation. He explained RAM is from a family of pro wrestlers such as his father Hondusty Rhodes. But now that Hondusty is undergoing medical treatment, it is up to RAM to enter the pro wrestling business! Super Sasadango Machine agreed to handle RAM’s musical role in the meantime. Time to start the show.

The Finisher Boys were working out when they received an invitation to perform at the Hiragana Festival. That sounds exciting except for one thing. No lip syncing is allowed! Shota entered the ring along with Choun-Shiryu & Yumehito Imanari representing The Steel Chair Boys. He asked The Finisher Boys why they haven’t replied to the invitation yet? A fight broke out with The Finisher Boys coming out on top but they were left in a tired state. How can they sing live with such low stamina? DJ Nira entered the scene and suggested they all turn heel to become stronger performers. The Finisher Boys then danced.

The Folding Chair Boys returned to their base to lick their wounds and wonder if The Finisher Boys are turning heel. Kazusada Higuchi & MAO appeared on the western balcony declaring their intentions to destroy The Finisher Boys. In order to do that they will have to walk down the “Main Road” of pro wrestling. They are going to pay a visit to a house belonging to the parents of a certain musician. Rumour is the musician is trying to become a pro wrestler himself. They can train him! The Folding Chair Boys then danced.

Over at the Hondusty Dojo, RAM RIDER is learning Bionic Elbows from his family. He hears about the Hiragana Festival and finds out he can earn 100,000 yen to perform there. There is no pro wrestling involved, just singing and dancing. He shows up in disguise and performs as DJ One More Taima.

However his collaboration with The Folding Chair Boys is interrupted when DJ Nira attacks Taima. The Finisher Boys also run in and attack The Folding Chair Boys in heel like fashion! They complete their heel turn by changing their names to The Foul (Gimmick) Boys! Taima tried to fight them off with the Bionic Elbow but gets ganged up on. Hondusty entered the ring pleading with the Gimmick Boys to stop but they Power Bomb him instead.

Tsurumi threatened not to pay RAM RIDER because his performance had no singing. However RAM recorded the illegal threat on his phone and threatened to sent it to the media. This sent Tsurumi, Rock & Minamikawa into a panic. If this goes public then all of the future Muscle plans will get cancelled! They might all lose their jobs and will have to go work in Sasadango’s factory. Sasadango then put together a PowerPoint presentation to explain what went wrong and how it can be fixed.

Sasadango decided Minamikawa would have a Mixed Systema Martial Arts match against the strongest opponent he could find. It’s Shinya Aoki! The rules allowed three breaks per round so the fighters could take a breather. Also the first person to react in pain loses. Aoki only needed one round to submit Minamikawa, placing him in a Front Neck Lock and making him shout out “Ouch!”

With that over with, Sasadango showed his plans for Rock & Tsurumi. They were going to have a manzai comedy challenge against Mizuki Watase & Yukio Naya. Rock & Tsurumi’s duo name was The Harigane Sisters and they joked about Tsurumi’s family. Watase & Naya were called Taiho Tiger and they made fun of Real Japan. When they were done an epilogue flashed on the screen about the fictional comedy career of Hisaya Imabayashi after he left DDT. He performed on stage 30,000 times and passed away at the age of 80. Meanwhile Taiho Tiger qualified for the next round of this year’s M-1 Grand Prix.

Two more acts to go and it’s going to stay strange. The Gimmick Boys and The Folding Chair Boys were now going to have a rap battle! Five rounds took place as everyone rapped to puro theme remixes that Taima put together. The audience voted for each winner and The Folding Chair Boys ended up taking the challenge 3 rounds to 2.

Sasadango began the final act by announcing Muscle will be back in Korakuen Hall on 1st September. It was time for RAM RIDER to finally wrestle a match. He dropped the One More Taima gimmick and renamed himself Ramridusty Rhodes so he could fight alongside his father Hondusty. Together they took on the heel team of DJ Nira & Konosuke Takeshita. A ref bump caused a massive brawl to happen at ringside. That was the cue for Tetsuya Endo to make his advertised run in and dive onto everyone outside the ring. Takeshita grabbed a chair but Hondusty talked him out of using it. The dramatic finish then happened with Hondusty pinning Nira with the Bionic Elbow while RAM RIDER played music on his keyboard.

With the show coming to a close, RAM RIDER wanted to return to normal and go back to being a music producer. Takeshita apologised for turning heel and promised never to do it again. Also he needs to be a babyface for Muscle’s Osaka performance next week. Sasadango said he wants to continue making these kind of fun shows.

The theme of today’s BOYZ show was the New BOYZ Army Vs Old BOYZ Army in a battle to determine which generation are the best BOYZ. The Old BOYZ Army didn’t like their team name and thought the BOYZ Older Brothers Army would have been more flattering.

The scheduled main event was a 5 Vs 5 Gauntlet match. Yuki Ueno didn’t think Toru Owashi belonged in BOYZ. Owashi pulled out a marker and tried to draw on Ueno’s face in response to that opinion. Ueno got the marker instead and scribbled on Owashi’s face while he was hanging over the ropes before kicking him out of the ring for the elimination. Owashi got some revenge by helping HARASHIMA eliminated Ueno by pulling him over the ropes and to the floor. Ueno distracted the referee so Toui Kojima could attack HARASHIMA but his chops didn’t do any damage. HARASHIMA got rid of Kojima but that left him open for Chris Brookes to throw him out of the ring. Kojima continued to play a role in the match by catching Brookes to avoid him getting eliminated. That plan failed when Keisuke Ishii went under the ropes and knocked them down so Brookes would touch the floor. Ishii built some momentum by pinning MAO until he was beaten by Konosuke Takeshita. At this point interference was happening from both teams wherever you looked. They all cancelled each other out but the end result to Takeshita and Kazuki Hirata was still a double elimination when Hirata sacrificed himself to eliminate his opponent too. That left Makoto Oishi for the Old BOYZ against Jun Masaoka for the New BOYZ. Masaoka kicked out of the Miracle Ecstasy and hit Oishi below the belt when the referee wasn’t watching. He then got the three count with the Ambitions cradle to win the match for the New BOYZ!

Oishi complained about the Low Blow Masaoka gave him and asked if he learned it from watching a KAIENTAI show? Masaoka said he saw one of their shows around 16 years ago. He also said Oishi was kicking his opponents below the belt 10 years ago so he has nothing to complain about!

There was a bonus main event put together by Akito. He wants BOYZ to have a championship but he doesn’t want it to be another belt. Instead he has a trophy called the KING OF BOYZ WRESTLING and the first champion will be the winner of a Battle Royal starting right now! Everyone who wrestled on the show took part and in the end, Toru Owashi was the winner. He decided to take part at the next BOYZ show on 4th April instead of the YaroZ show taking place in the same venue. Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Iino came out to complain about his decision but Owashi yelled at them to go home. This scenario left Akito worried that the BOYZ and YaroZ are going to fight over Owashi on 4th April.
