2. Banny Oikawa Comeback Match: Cherry & Alex Lee defeated Miyako Matsumoto & Banny Oikawa when Cherry submitted Oikawa with the Sakuran Bokari (10:20).
3. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: SAKI defeated Yoshiko Hasegawa with the Power “Zu” Ram (11:27).
4. Makoto & Asuka defeated Ami Manase & Marika Kobashi when Makoto pinned Manase with the Death Valley Bomb (16:59).
5. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: YuuRI defeated Misa Kagura with the Swanton Bomb (11:15).

As Ganbare☆Joshi begins to grow, so too does YuuRI’s success at winning matches. She scored a significant victory today by beating her old JTO classmate Misa Kagura in the main event of the latest GanJo show. With this momentum, YuuRI will be heading over to Ice Ribbon tomorrow to challenge Totoro Satsuki for the ICEx∞ Title. She told the fans she is going to win the title in the afternoon and then show up at the evening’s Ganbare☆Pro show as a champion! Backstage Kagura said she is aiming to win the ICEx∞ Title this year too. She will win it from YuuRI!

A Super Kick & Death Valley Bomb combo from Asuka & Makoto put Ami Manase down for the count. This may also be the last time we see Marika Kobashi in GanJo for a while because she is visiting England in August to spend the rest of her summer studying.

Yoshiko Hasegawa Vs SAKI was a match between two former wrestlers who made their starts in Actwres girl’Z. SAKI won the match but Hasegawa refused to shake her hand afterwards. She explained backstage that shaking hands like that would end her story with SAKI. She wants to get stronger and face SAKI again to keep that story going. When SAKI heard that was the reason, she asked if she can bring in wrestlers from her Color’s unit to turn this situation into a promotional rivalry against GanJo.

One of of Ice Ribbon’s former wrestlers returned to the ring at this GanJo show. Banny Oikawa had her comeback match teaming with Miyako Matsumoto, the woman responsible for convincing her to enter GanJo. Sadly Oikawa’s big return was spoiled by Cherry & Alex Lee. Cherry used her Sakuran Bokari submission hold to make Oikawa give up and lose the match. Still, Oikawa is committed to the return and announced she will be back in GanJo for their 11th August show. She wants to work her way up to GanPro so she can wrestle in mixed gender matches.

In a battle of the night life hostesses Sumire Natsu defeated Riara. The match consisted of Natsu pouring a bottle of champagne over her opponent and also attacking her with a whip until the referee stopped her. Natsu knocked the ref down but that led to Riara grabbing the whip and using it to fight back. However Natsu regained control of the match and pinned Riara with the Shining Wizard. Then after the match Riara unexpectedly asked Natsu if she wanted to form a tag team together! Natsu didn’t give her a straight answer. Instead she said pro wrestling and the entertainment business both value connections so they will meet again some day.

Yuna Manase appeared at the beginning of the show, thanking the fans for making up the biggest attendance yet for a GanJo show.

Earlier this week Vert Vixen sent a video to Tokyo Joshi Pro telling them she wants to put the DEFY Women’s Title on the line in her match against Hikari Noa. The match means a lot to Vixen because when she was a child her father travelled to Japan on business trips and he would come back with gifts and stories for her. She got to tour Japan with TJPW in April where she teamed with Noa twice and together they won both matches. Vixen is so confident she will beat Noa she wants their match to be a title match so she can make her father proud. She previously had a successful title defence against Miyu Yamashita during Yamashita’s US excursion. Noa was touched by Vixen’s idea and accepted the challenge. She wants to win a singles championship and go wrestle overseas again. She warns Vixen that she fought in a death match and became even stronger since the last time they were in the ring together.

Three important singles matches highlight the next Ganbare☆Joshi card. YuuRI’s grudge match with Misa Kagura was already announced. Yoshiko Hasegawa meets SAKI in the ring again for the first time in three years. A battle between hostesses will take place when Riara takes on Sumire Natsu.

Banny Oikawa’s return to wrestling has her teaming with Miyako Matsumoto. Her entry into GanJo is because of Matsumoto so that makes sense. Alex Lee being on the opposite side is unexpected because she’s been with Matsumoto in her previous appearances here. Cherry is part of the match because she was one of Oikawa’s trainers.

I’ve noticed that all of Ami Manase’s matches so far included Marika Kobashi. They’ve been both opponents and teammates. Their next task together is facing Makoto & Asuka. That pair often teams together as Las Fresa de Egoistas.

Moeka Haruhi’s surgery to donate one of her kidneys has been scheduled for late June so she is able to continue wrestling for a few more weeks. That means she gets to show up at GanPro again after already saying goodbye and have a few extra matches there.

The second show of GanPro’s May tripleshot is all being put together by Yumehito Imanari. The main event celebrates his 10th anniversary with the promotion. He also decided to do a tag team match between the old generation and the new generation. The joshi match will have both Haruhi and YuuRI wrestling in “arena” branded swimsuits. The opening match will be a Rumble where everyone will enter to Imanari’s theme song “POISON ~In This World Where I Can’t Say What I Want To Say~” by Takashi Sorimachi. Every participant will also have to represent Imanari in some way so I think there is going to be several impersonations of his different gimmicks during the match.

The women of Ganbare☆Joshi do not want to deal with Miyako Matsumoto and her new partner in crime Alex Lee so a team from P.P.P. Tokyo will face them instead. PPP are fresh off of their first time in Korakuen Hall so Marika Kobashi & Echika Miyabi must both be feeling extra motivated to represent their company.

An upset from the weekend saw Ganbare☆Pro’s rookie Munetatsu Nakamura pin Isami Kodaka in a 6-Man Tag Match. When Kodaka later asked Mizuki Watase for a title shot, he was turned down for that reason. Watase then came up with the idea to put Kodaka and Nakamura in a No. 1 Contender’s match to determine who he defends the Spirit Of Ganbare Title against at Ota Ward Gymnasium this July.

Even though Sakazaki will be leaving Tokyo Joshi Pro at the end of the year, she still wants to hold onto the Princess Tag Team Titles with Mizuki for as long as possible. Her next match in Japan won’t be until this show so it was decided The Magical Sugar Rabbits will defend the belts against Daydream.

Two “assassins” are being sent over to Ganbare☆Joshi by JUST TAP OUT to continue the growing rivalry between the two brands. Both Sumika Yanagawa & Misa Kagura have been with JTO since 2020 and are familiar with YuuRI from her time there. Yoshiko Hasegawa is the odd one out in this match.

Miyako Matsumoto and Alex Lee will both be on the show and this time they are actually booked for it.

1. Princess Of Princess Title: Mizuki (c) Vs Maki Itoh

A promise was made two years ago that when Mizuki would become the Princess Of Princess Champion then she would give Maki Itoh a title shot. Itoh has come to collect and Mizuki decided it is a big enough match for Ota Ward Gym. Itoh is dedicating her next tour of American bookings to prepare for the title match.

0. Exhibition Match: Riara Vs Moeka Haruhi ended in a Time Limit Draw (5:00).
1. Gatoh Move Offer Match: Chie Koishikawa defeated Tokiko Kirihara with a School Boy (8:54).
2. Special Single Match: Ami Manase Vs Marika Kobashi ended in a No Contest when Miyako Matsumoto interfered (6:48).
2a. Remtach: Ami Manase & Marika Kobashi defeated Miyako Matsumoto & Alex Lee when Manase pinned Matsumoto with the Suzuki Dynamic (12:33).
3. Special Single Match: Tae Honma defeated Yoshiko Hasegawa with the Tae Lock (13:44).
4. Special Tag Match: Moeka Haruhi & YuuRI defeated Tomoka Inaba & HisokA when YuuRI pinned HisokA with the Swanton Bomb (18:09).

It’s still early in the Ganbare☆Joshi restart but YuuRI is already taking charge and finding outside targets to surpass. The target she has in mind is JUST TAP OUT and Tomoka Inaba in particular. Inaba was YuuRI’s senpai in JTO and last month she successfully defended the Queen Of JTO Title against her. But today YuuRI picked up the win by pinning HisokA with the Swanton Bomb.

This show is Moeka Haruhi’s last appearance in GanJo for the time being. She will be taking time off soon to donate her kidney to her sister. She was happy to end her last GanJo match with a win and promised she’ll be back to wrestle with everyone again.

Both Yoshiko Hasegawa and Tae Honma were happy to wrestle each other again. Their match was something Hasegawa had wanted to do from the moment she joined Ganbare☆Pro. Honma said she would love to come back to GanJo especially when Yuna Manase is able to wrestle again.

For the second time Miyako Matsumoto crashed the show and did so in the middle of the Ami Manase Vs Marika Kobashi match, attacking both women. She asked Michiyoshi Mishima again to be booked for GanJo and turn the match into a 3 Way. He did his best to politely turn her down. Matsumoto would not take no for an answer and revealed she brought along Bosnian wrestler Alex Lee to be her tag team partner so they could fight Manase & Kobashi in a tag match instead. The two had no choice and went ahead with the match. Manase ended up using her sister’s finishing move the Suzuki Dynamic to pin Matsumoto. However Matsumoto said she didn’t even use 1/100th of her ability. She told Mishima to book her on the next GanJo show on 17th June. If he doesn’t then she will break into his house. She already knows where he lives because they used to work together in Ice Ribbon.

Riara got to have another five minute exhibition with Haruhi before her pro debut takes place later this week. This time Riara was able to last the entire five minutes without giving up to the Half Crab Hold. Afterwards Haruhi asked if Riara showed her full strength in those five minutes. Her life is only now just beginning and she may only get one shot to win her debut match. She wants Riara to give it her all on 5th May.
