1. Toru Owashi, Antonio Honda & Gota Ihashi defeated Chris Brookes, Yukio Naya & Toui Kojima when Honda pinned Kojima with the Diving Fist Drop (8:57).
2. Young Communication Generation Vs DDT Legend Army!: Sanshiro Takagi & Danshoku Dieno defeated Akito & Kazuki Hirata when Dieno pinned Akito after the Kiss His Ass (8:52).
3. Yusuke Okada defeated Keigo Nakamura with a Figure 4 Leg Lock (8:56).
4. DAMNATION Vs ALL OUT!: Yuki Iino & Shunma Katsumata defeated Yuji Hino & Mad Paulie by Countout (8:28).
5. DAMNATION Vs Junretsu!: Tetsuya Endo, Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao defeated Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & Hideki Okatani when Takao pinned Okatani with the Diving Foot Stomp (14:24).
6. Road To NAGOYA! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita, MAO & Yuki Ueno defeated HARASHIMA, Yukio Sakaguchi & Kazusada Higuchi when Takeshita pinned Sakaguchi with the German Suplex (17:33).

The main event was DDT Sauna Club’s warning to Eruption. The finish saw Konosuke Takeshita give Kazusada Higuchi a Last Ride Power Bomb then he would break out of Yukio Sakaguchi’s Sleeper Hold to pin him with the German Suplex. He told the both of them afterwards it’s been a long time since the Sauna Club got to show off their true colours. MAO chipped in that this match is the result of all his strength and he is only going to get stronger. The Sauna Club promise that every member will be holding a title belt in Nagoya next week.

Yuki Iino went on a warpath because he can’t keep his emotions in check around Yuji Hino. The two brawled around ringside leading to Iino hitting Spears on Hino and Mad Paulie. Iino then lost control and hit his own partner Shunma Katsumata with a Lariat before entering the ring in time to win by countout. Iino grabbed the microphone and shouted he will crush Hino in Nagoya! Backstage Iino explained that when he went into a rage, everyone looked like Hino to him and he just wanted to scream at a high place.

Everyone knows Yusuke Okada wants to face Yuki Ueno for the DDT UNIVERSAL Title so he didn’t want to waste any more time and threw out the challenge. Ueno politely said he’s been waiting for somebody to grab his attention. He’s happy to see Okada do that. Okada has a lot of respect for Ueno but he hates him for being better looking. Their title match will happen in Korakuen Hall on 14th March.

The generation feud between the DDT Legend Army and Young Communication Generation continues. Sanshiro Takagi directed traffic by lifting up Akito in the Spicolli Driver and holding him there for Danshoku Dieno to Lip Lock him. After the Driver, Dieno then put Akito in the Danshoku Killswitch position and waited for Takagi to give him a Stunner for extra damage. The prone Dieno pinned Akito and Takagi gave Shota a Stunner after the match.

The DDT Extreme Title Match between Katsumata and MAO on 28th February will be a Kids Room Death Match 37 (Sauna) Count Edition. Katsumata wants the ring to be like a kid’s playroom so anything that is not considered dangerous can be used as a weapon. The goal is to either win with a 3 count pin or have enough 1 and 2 count pins to reach 37 counts in total (3 = san, 7 = nana). Katsumata wants to move beyond MAO so he can reach the next step. MAO just wants to “Destroy Shunma Katsumata!”

Akito announced the main event for the 3rd March BOYZ show is a 5 Vs 5 Gauntlet Match between the New BOYZ Army and the Old BOYZ Army.

1. 3 Way Match: Toru Owashi defeated Antonio Honda and Keigo Nakamura when Owashi pinned both Honda and Nakamura with a Double School Boy (8:23).
2. Yuji Hino, Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani defeated Chris Brookes, Yusuke Okada & Toui Kojima when Shimatani submitted Kojima with a Modified Camel Clutch (12:21).
3. Young Communication Generation Vs DDT Legend Army!: HARASHIMA & Danshoku Dieno defeated Akito & Kazuki Hirata when Dieno pinned Akito with the Hell Sword (10:56).
4. Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Naya defeated Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata when Naya pinned Katsumata with the Back Drop (10:18).
5. Konosuke Takeshita & MAO defeated Yukio Sakaguchi & Mizuki Watase when MAO pinned Watase with the Avalanche Michinoku Driver II (14:05).
6. DAMNATION VS Junretsu!: Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & Hideki Okatani defeated Tetsuya Endo, Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao when Akiyama pinned Takao with the Wrist Clutch Exploder Suplex (20:40).

Today was the return of Jun Akiyama from injury and also his last preview match against Tetsuya Endo before their KO-D Openweight Title match. They continued to fight each other after the match until Endo backed out of the ring. Akiyama thanked Endo because he felt today’s match was enough rehabilitation for him. He thinks the right side of the KO-D Title belt looks a little dull so he should polish it before Akiyama takes it off him. Makoto Oishi assured everyone that Akiyama’s strength and power is back to where it was before his absence.

Backstage Akiyama joked he is now unemployed because of his new freelance status. He also cheered up Hideki Okatani when he found out Okatani was disappointed over not winning any matches against DAMNATION while Akiyama was gone. Meanwhile Endo revealed he brought in a new training partner to prepare for the title match. He teased that this person is somebody who knows Akiyama best and everyone will be surprised when the person is unveiled.

Yukio Sakaguchi is getting what he wants from the DDT Sauna Club. Today’s defeat against Konosuke Takeshita & MAO now motivates him to kill the both of them. He promises his title matches with the Sauna Club in Culttz Kawasaki and Nagoya Congress Center will be a war. The likes of MAO and Shunma Katsumata hate the word “war” because saunas are peaceful.

The pairing of Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Naya had a successful warm up match for “KAWASAKI STRONG 2021”. They gave Katsumata a Double Choke Slam and it was Naya who got the pin with a Back Drop. Naya said he is starting over from scratch and has nothing to lose. He will hit Smile Pissari with all of his strength. Higuchi understands and will help him do that.

Danshoku Dieno has come up with a new finishing move. He pressed Akito’s face into his backside and HARASHIMA hit the Somato into Akito from the other side. Dieno then did his own version of the Somato where he hits the move with his crotch instead of the knees. The move is called the Hell Sword. Dieno then tea bagged Akito after the match to add insult to injury. He asked Akito & Kazuki Hirata if they were fooling around when they nominated the DDT old guard for their next KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles defence. All it does it make Dieno the face of DDT again if he wins the championship. His generation will lead DDT again! And if the Young Communication Generation won’t call him the leader of DDT, he will get HARASHIMA to shut them up and follow his orders!

The BOYZ and YaroZ doubleshot in Itabashi Green Hall that was cancelled last year has been rescheduled to 4th April. The BOYZ show will take place on the 2nd Floor while the YaroZ show is held in the 1st Floor.

1. Homoiro Clover Z Vs NωA Full Scale Battle ~ Oishi Contra Oishi: Danshoku Dieno, Akito & Makoto Oishi Vs Shunma Katsumata, MAO & Makoto Oishi ended in a draw when everyone pinned Oishi with the Combined Miracle Ecstasy (10:37).
2. DDT x Ganpro Exchange Battle: Shuichiro Katsumura & Shota defeated HARASHIMA & Kazuki Hirata when Shota pinned Hirata with a Mexican Clutch (12:58).
3. On The Day Of Your Birthday! 45th Anniversary Of Toru Owashi’s Birth!: Ryuichi Sekine defeated Toru Owashi and Keigo Nakamura when Sekine pinned Nakamura with a Backslide Pin (9:08).
4. Special Referee Series Part 2: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Yasu Urano with a Bionic Elbow (10:48). (Special Referees: Antonio Honda & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi)
5. BOYZ-Like Special Single Match: Chris Brookes defeated Jun Masaoka with the Praying Mantis Bomb (11:15).
6. DNA Alumni Association 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Nobuhiro Shimatani & Ryota Nakatsu defeated Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Ueno & Mizuki Watase when Higuchi submitted Katsumata with the Canadian Backbreaker (15:47).

The main event was a throwback to DNA with each wrestler wearing their old wrestling gear from the days when they were on that brand. After the match Akito came out and thanked Shunma Katsumata for wrestling twice on the show. Katsumata complained about having to do that on Christmas Eve. He hates it so much he now hates Christmas! Makoto Oishi, Danshoku Dieno and MAO came out to try and cheer him up because the BOYZ were supposed to give a present to the all female audience. Instead, they told Katsumata to close his eyes because the women were going to give him a gift. When he opened them back up he saw the audience waving glow sticks to music for him. This made Katsumata happy because it felt like a sauna for his eyes. He thanked everyone and asked when the next BOYZ show will take place. Akito said it will happen next March.

Chris Brookes teased Jun Masaoka by putting a Santa hat on his head at the start of the match. He also called him cute a lot. Masaoka used the referee as a shield and also a step to launch himself at Brookes to make up for the height difference. Brookes caught him in midair with a Knee Strike and immediately hit the Praying Mantis Bomb for the win.

Match #4 was only mean to have one special referee with Antonio Honda in the role. However he tripped and hurt his knee when entering the ring and called for somebody to replace him. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi came out and used his yoga knowledge to heal Honda. In return he was allowed take part in the Konosuke Takeshita Vs Yasu Urano match as the second referee. They got in each other’s way, Hiroshi missed pinfalls, tapouts and illegal moves because he was too busy exercising and Honda kept taking 1,000 yen bribes to switch sides. Takeshita appealed to Honda by setting up the Bionic Elbow but Urano blocked it. Hiroshi made fun of him over it which made Honda mad. Honda remembered that he, Takeshita and Hiroshi were all part of the same unit Happy Motels. Hiroshi remembered too and he began singing with Honda over their happy memories together. Meanwhile Takeshita hit Urano with the Bionic Elbow and won with the move. Hiroshi then sang “Amazing Grace” as one last gift for everyone.

Toru Owashi, Ryuichi Sekine and Keigo Nakamura all wanted to appeal to the audience but got little response to their antics. Wearing Santa hats didn’t work, wrestling didn’t work, writing on each other’s faces with a marker didn’t work, trying (and failing) to play a saxophone didn’t work. The only one laughing at their antics was Daisuke Kiso and that made the three of them look even more foolish. They all attacked Kiso but he fought back with a mixture of lucha and MMA spots. Nakamura encouraged Owashi to climb the top rope and win with a flying move because it is his birthday today. When Owashi got up there, Sekine rolled Nakamura over with a Backslide and stole the win. Afterwards Akito came out and surveyed the audience over who their favourite performer was in the match. Kiso received the biggest applause so he was the winner. Akito granted him a regular spot in BOYZ for his reward.

Even though Match #2 was between a DDT team and a Ganbare☆Wrestling show. However Kazuki Hirata and Shota wanted the match to be wrestled in a speedy Young Communication style. Neither of them think HARASHIMA and Shuichiro Katsumura are capable of doing that because of their age.

During the show opening ceremony, Makoto Oishi was pulled in two directions by Homoiro Clover Z and NωA. He was unintentionally dragged to the back by because both teams refused to let him go. Their match was first on the card and Oishi had to participate in the musical entrances for both teams, tiring him out before the match even began. He wrestled for both teams, switching back and forth throughout the match while each side’s music in the background changed for who he was fighting with. It reached the point where Oishi didn’t know what to do so he ended up attacking everybody in the ring! Dieno, Akito, Katsumata and MAO all worked together to fight back and they all piled on top of Oishi to pin him. Everyone except for Oishi were announced as the winners. Oishi got on the microphone and said he loves both Homoiro Clover Z and NωA so he cannot choose between them. Suddenly, Hideki Okatani ran into the ring angry at Oishi for not choosing Junretsu. Okatani stabbed Oishi and laughed as the room went dark.

Long ago, way back in February of this year Homoiro Clover Z reunited at a BOYZ show. Their return was met with defiance from the also reunited NωA and the two sides argued over who the real music idols of DDT were. As a member of both units, Makoto Oishi was stuck in the middle and unable to choose a side. A decision was made to do an Oishi Contra Oishi match with the winners getting Oishi all to themselves. The idea was forgotten about when BOYZ came back in August but it’s happening here on Christmas Eve! Oishi has to wrestle for both teams too.

-. Akito (2)
4. Yukio Sakaguchi (0)

-. Chris Brookes (0)
-. MAO (0)

B Block

1. Tetsuya Endo (2)
-. Yuki Ueno (2)

4. Soma Takao (0)
-. Jun Akiyama (0)
-. Kazusada Higuchi (0)
-. Shunma Katsumata (0)

The opening day of D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 marks Jun Akiyama’s first direct loss in DDT. He brought the fight to Tetsuya Endo by grounding him with the Front Neck Lock. He hit the Knee Stikes and Exploder Suplexes but Endo couldn’t be beat with them. Akiyama went for the Wrist Clutch Exploder but Endo escaped and countered with an Overhead Kick. With Endo taking control he hit a Handspring Overhead Kick and the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb for a nearfall. Akiyama couldn’t get back up so he became a sitting duck for the Shooting Star Press. Endo laughed after the match and said this was a dream. No it’s not, it’s reality and he really did just beat Akiyama! Before the tournament began, Endo said he would abstain from the rest of the Grand Prix if he won the main event today. But he’s feeling so good now he decided he will complete his remaining matches after all and win D-Ou 2021!

The other singles champion also made a good leap out of the starting blocks. Yuki Ueno had a big wall in the form of Kazusada Higuchi standing in front of him. Very little seemed to make Higuchi budge until Ueno caught him with the Blizzard Suplex. Ueno wore him down with a Northern Lights Bomb and the Frog Splash but Higuchi was still kicking out. Ueno then hit the BME but rather than pin him straight away, he instead used the WR to make sure Higuchi was down and out. Ueno called the result a big confidence boost. He couldn’t envision beating Higuchi and he feels like he used up all his luck to achieve this. But he is also the DDT UNIVERSAL Champion and he won as decisively as possible. He hopes this makes the fans see him as the champion to watch in the Grand Prix.

The memory of NωA flowed through the match between Shunma Katsumata and Makoto Oishi. Katsumata came down to the ring wearing an NωA shirt and used it to choke Oishi when they fought outside the ring. Oishi went for the Fujiyama Knee Lock when Katsumata missed the Stuka Splash. He couldn’t get it at first but he put his opponent in a Calf Killer and switched to the Knee Lock for the tap out win. Katsumata was upset and thought he was already eliminated but a reporter reminded him it is a league format. Oishi is now looking forward to his match with Akiyama in Osaka on 29th November. He was a little upset with Katsumata wearing the NωA shirt but he got one back by saying he beat a member of both ALL OUT and the DDT Sauna Club.

The early half of the show was focused on the A Block matches. Daisuke Sasaki celebrated his birthday with a big victory over Konosuke Takeshita. Sasaki was thrown around with German Suplexes but he caught Takeshita in the Crossover Facelock while Takeshita was still on his feet. Takeshita’s energy was sapped out of him and when he fell to the mat in the hold he gave up. Backstage Sasaki had a message for Takeshita. If you have any doubts, just come to DAMNATION! When Takeshita received that message he said that’s one way he could change himself. He then walked off.

Chris Brookes had a plan to target HARASHIMA’s arm. He threw it into the ring post outside, attacked it with Knee Drops and applied submissions to the limb. HARASHIMA still had his kicks and gutted through the pain to do a Falcon Arrow. His Swan Dive was countered into a Cutter but the Praying Mantis Bomb from Brookes was then countered into a Short Range Somato. HARASHIMA then hit the proper Somato to take the win. He was suprised to see Brookes do so much today because he thought he would have been careful in their first tournament match. Brookes admitted the D-Ou is a very challenging tournament because it throws so many singles matches at you in a short amount of time. He had a slow start last year but he ended up doing great at the end so he hopes it will be the same this year. He also promoted Masahiro Takanashi’s return show and said he feels 10 times stronger than usual because Takanashi is in his corner.

MAO excitedly told everyone today was the opening round of the tournament. At one point in his match, MAO got tangled upside down in the turnbuckle. Akito went to attack him until Daisuke Kiso kept him back and set MAO free. MAO then tried using Kiso as a shield for the rest of the match. Akito sent MAO into a scramble of pins and cradles that led to Akito using the Octopus Dream to grab the three count. MAO was disappointed that the British style of wrestling he learned wasn’t enough to beat Akito. But still, Akito could see improvement in MAO. He’s only just come back from injury after all. Akito also purposely came up with moves that would surpass the British style too. He doesn’t think the D-Ou will be interesting this year unless everybody switches up their fighting styles.

Before the 4 Way Tag Match took place, Kazuki Hirata brought out a cardboard championship called the DDT Variety Championship. He said the winner of the match would be given the title because this match didn’t deserve to be the show opener. Both Danshoku Dieno and Antonio Honda were eager to win it but Soma Takao didn’t care so he attacked Hirata. Dieno set himself up in the Hell Gate position and Hirata’s Tegatana hand ended up getting wedged in there. Hirata pulled his hand out and used it to make everyone else faint. Yukio Sakaguchi avoided it and he hit Dieno in the backside with the God’s Right Knee. Sakaguchi then stuck his arm into the Hell Gate and used it to put Honda in a Sleeper Hold. Honda fainted and Sakaguchi was declared the DDT Variety Champion! Sakaguchi taunted Hirata and dared him to challenge for the belt whenever he wants. DDT does not recognise the DDT Variety Title as an official championship so it won’t be acknowledged in the results.

The pre-show match had the Junretsu team of Mizuki Watase & Hideki Okatani go over Yukio Naya & Keigo Nakamura. Watase’s Back Drop was countered by Nakamura but his attempt to follow up with a Hurricanrana was rolled back into a cradle for the three count.

A new trainee makes his debut on 27th December. Toui Kojima will face Hideki Okatani on the next Korakuen Hall show. Kojima introduced himself to the fans in a relaxed manner. Hisaya Imabayashi wanted him to make it sound like a bigger deal so Imabayashi repeated the news in a more exciting way.

Danshoku Dieno announced a full scale war between the DDT and Big Japan mascots. Pokotan Vs Death Kamo will happen on 4th December!

Akito announced the card of matches for the 24th December BOYZ show. He and Imabayashi asked if anybody had anything important going on for Christmas Eve? Toru Owashi raised his hand because that day is also his birthday but everyone ignored him.

The next Hiragana Muscle show will take place in Korakuen on 9th March. They will also hold a show in Osaka on 18th March.

Takanashi promoted his self-produced return show on 19th January. He said the timetable for his full time return is currently blank because he hasn’t decided when he will return to DDT yet. However if Brookes wins the D-Ou Grand Prix and goes on to main event Culttz Kawasaki next year, he will definitely be there no matter what happens.

It was revealed that the winner of the D-Ou Grand Prix will receive a KO-D Openweight Title match at the 14th February Culttz Kawasaki show next year. Also taking place in February is a big show held in Nagoya Congress Center on the 23rd. It will be the first time in 5 years DDT will be holding a major show in Nagoya.

??? Fans

2. Shall We Dance??: Chris Brookes defeated Kazuki Hirata with the Praying Mantis Bomb (10:20).
3. Dress Code 3 Way Match: Antonio Honda Vs Mizuki Watase Vs Yumehito Imanari ended in a Triple KO (11:30). (Special Referee: MAO)
4. “Danshoku-ryu” Are You Really ALL OUT!?: Akito defeated Shunma Katsumata by Disqualification (1:42). (Special Referee: Danshoku Dieno)
4a. Rematch: Akito Vs Shunma Katsumata ended in a No Contest (9:06). (Special Referee: Danshoku Dieno)
5. Smile Nishinari Yankee First Formation!: HARASHIMA, Konosuke Takeshita & Yuko Miyamoto defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Keigo Nakamura & Hideki Okatani when Miyamoto pinned Okatani with the Moonsault (14:14).
6. Nautilus Vs Makoto Oishi & Jun Masaoka♡: Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura defeated Makoto Oishi & Jun Masaoka when Ueno pinned Oishi with the WR (18:22).

Vice President Akito praised everyone in the main event and thanked them all for being here. He complimented Nautilus for main eventing wrestling shows two days in a row, he thanked Jun Masaoka for coming in on short notice and he mentioned it was Makoto Oishi’s idea to bring him in. Today’s show makes Akito excited for the future of BOYZ.

Sadly there was no dance ending planned for the show. They couldn’t find the time to practice their dance routines because of the Coronavirus. Kazuki Hirata took the blame and apologized alongside Akito. Chris Brookes entered the ring trying to tell them not to apologize but was still adamant that he wasn’t going to dance. Akito and Hirata began to cry so Brookes whispered something into Hirata’s ear. Hirata excitedly brought in entrance robes and Tokyo GO! glasses. Brookes reluctantly put them on and began dancing with Hirata! Akito thanked him for saving the show.

The team of Kazusada Higuchi, Keigo Nakamura & Hideki Okatani all wrestled dressed as high school students armed with textbooks. Their behaviour was the opposite of HARASHIMA, Konosuke Takeshita & Yuko Miyamoto acting like yankees. The act was thrown away when Higuchi’s team all gave the yankees Low Blows. The yankees recovered and Miyamoto pinned Nakamura with the Moonsault.

Danshoku Dieno took his referee job today seriously and was too strict to a fault. He quickly counted to five on Akito after Shunma Katsumata reached a rope break. Akito convinced him not to end the match. Dieno then quickly counted out Katsumata for standing on the top turnbuckle. This time the match did end. Akito and Katsumata agreed to an immediate rematch and were very careful not to do anything Dieno would consider a foul. Dieno got accidentally knocked out after bumping into Akito so Yukinori Matsui replaced him. When Dieno woke up he attacked Matsui to take his spot back. While those two fought each other, Akito and Katsumata continued wrestling and knocked each other out. Dieno kicked Matsui in the crotch but Matsui fell head first into Dieno’s groin. All four people in the ring were knocked out so MAO ran in wearing a referee shirt and called off the match.

MAO also showed up in the Dress Code 3 Way Match as the referee. Antonio Honda, Mizuki Watase and Yumehito Imanari all wrestled in tuxedos and the goal was to strip down your opponents. All three of them stripped each other down to their underwear. By the end they were all beaten and tired so MAO began counting them out. They all grabbed MAO at 9 to try and pull themselves up but instead MAO’s pants were pulled down revealing he was wearing a loincloth underneath. MAO reached 10 and ended the match as a Triple Knockout draw.

The theme of this month’s opening ceremony was “Apron”. Every wrestler walked out looking like they were ready to cook. Some made it look sexy, others looked like they were ready to work a shift at Ebisuko Tavern.

Kotaro Yoshino was on that show and tested positive for COVID-19 afterwards. Asahi & Yamato both agreed to cancel their appearances at the BOYZ show because of this. Jun Masaoka has been brought in to take Asahi’s place in the main event. Yamato’s match has been changed from a tag bout to a 3 Way.

5. Street Fight 6-Man Tag Match: Atsushi Onita, Yuko Miyamoto & Rocky Kawamura Vs Takashi Sugiura, NOSAWA Rongai & Kaz Hayashi

Here’s something I learned about Atsushi Onita. He has a side business making coffee that involves importing coffee beans from Laos. The farm where he gets these beans from uses a robot called Mecha Pandita to cultivate the beans. When Onita found out about this robot he came up with an idea. He will bring this machine to Japan and modify it into a pro wrestling robot! Mecha Pandita is currently doing its job in the mountains of Kanzaki City and will be ready for Shunma Katsumata to fight soon.

DDT “DDT LIVE! ~SAYONARA TOSHIMAEN~ ATSUSHI ONITA IMMEDIATELY RETIRE IF YOU LOSE SP CURRENT BLAST ON THE STREET”, 27/08/2020
Tokyo Toshimaen

1. Street Current Blast Death Match: Atsushi Onita, Sanshiro Takagi & Chris Brookes Vs Shinya Aoki, Caol Uno & Konosuke Takeshita

Over the years, the Toshimaen theme park in Nerima, Tokyo was a venue DDT visited several times for Street Wrestling matches. Sadly, Toshimaen will close down at the end of this month after 94 years in business. When Sanshiro Takagi heard the news he asked to wrestle there one last time. They will literally send the place out with a bang because DDT is putting together a Current Blast Death Match!

Shinya Aoki is in the match because he used to live in Nerima and would visit Toshimaen many times. He was recently reminded of the place when his ex-wife sent him an angry message. He wants to do Team Aoki Vs Team Onita and if Onita loses, he has to retire for the 8th time in his career. Onita admitted he will continue wrestling after his 8th, 9th and 10th retirements so they need to include something else to fight over. Aoki suggested Takagi and CyberFight put 50 million yen on the line. Takagi doesn’t know where the money will come from but he agreed to it so the match can go ahead. Takagi & Onita will have Chris Brookes on their team. Aoki is bringing in Konosuke Takeshita and MMA fighter Caol Uno! Aoki said that Uno is frightened of wrestling in a Current Blast Death Match but he still has the skills necessary to win.

The press conference for the match was held out in Toshimaen but quickly fell apart when a torrential rainstorm soaked everybody.

13. King Of DDT 2020 – Round 1N: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Naomi Yoshimura
14. King Of DDT 2020 – Round 1H: Tetsuya Endo Vs Akito

Some of the wrestlers have commented on the King Of DDT tournament in the lead up to Round 1. Yukio Sakaguchi simply said “we’ll do it this Summer.” Shunma Katsumata feels like there is a big wave coming for him. Soma Takao is looking forward to facing Minoru Tanaka and also wants to take on his allies in DAMNHEARTS on route to becoming a champion in his hometown. Tanaka believes he will win and beat DDT’s best without any reservations. HARASHIMA is going to blow the cobwebs away in this blazingly hot summer tournament. Mad Paulie’s grunts were translated into “Hey, Mad Paulie! Kill HARASHIMA! I’m going to win! Cheer for me!” Kazusada Higuchi will fight for himself, win or lose. Mizuki Watase would rather have a discussion with Higuchi instead of fighting him. Yukio Naya wants to win the first tournament he enters. El Lindaman can’t do the math on how many wrestlers are in this thing so he will just have to deal with them one by one. Naomi Yoshimura’s short term goal is to beat Konosuke Takeshita. Last year Takeshita broke his nose in the semi-final. He doesn’t like the fact he looks like a different person in his photos after he won the final. He wants to win with a more dignified looking face so everyone will recognise him.

DDT “BON DEMONE, ATASHA KAMISAMADA YO 2020”, 15/08/2020
Tokyo Kanda Myojin Hall

1. Team Big Old Men Vs Young Dramatics: Jun Akiyama & Sanshiro Takagi Vs Keigo Nakamura & Hideki Okatani
2. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura (c) Vs MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba

Past versus present and old versus young are the themes for the two matches listed above. The Suicide Boyz made their return to DDT and got a team win over Yuki Ueno. They now get a KO-D Tag Team Titles shot because of it. Both MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba have held the titles multiple times but only twice together.

Meanwhile Jun Akiyama & Sanshiro Takagi have become kindred spirits because of their similar age and agreed to team together to put the young ones in their place. Keigo Nakamura has stubbornly tried to match up with Akiyama while Hideki Okatani has been soaking all of his coach’s teachings like a sponge.

A threatening email from an address beginning with “new.damnation.japan” was sent to the DDT office. In response to this, Akito booked Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao to be on the next BOYZ show.

BAKUHA KOSHIEN “STREET FIGHT CLUB”, 25/08/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. STREET FIGHT CLUB Special Match ~Royal Traditions Match~: Jun Akiyama Vs Yukio Naya

Earlier in the week Yukio Naya was getting criticisms from Jun Akiyama for not wrestling like a man his size should. Atsushi Onita wants to see Akiyama prove his point in the ring so he made a request to book Akiyama Vs Naya on his own show. Takagi told him to go ahead. Naya is eager to learn directly from Akiyama this way.

DDT “GET ALIVE 2020”, 07/09/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai Vs Danshoku Dieno, Seigo Tachibana & Yoshiko
2. DDT UNIVERSAL Title – No DQ Match: Chris Brookes (c) Vs Drew Parker

Chris Brookes and Drew Parker got to wrestle each other in a Falls Count Anywhere tag match at Gake no Fuchi Joshi last weekend. Parker’s team won but Brookes wants to get his win back in a similar match. Their DDT UNIVERSAL Title match is now No DQ. This might be a mistake by the champion because the only times Parker has beaten him in their careers were in death matches.

YUMI Leaves TJPW, DISASTER BOX Loser, DDT UK, Endo Calls Out Kenny

July 24, 2020

As of today YUMI has left Tokyo Joshi Pro and ended her time in pro wrestling. She last wrestled in November so she could take her high school exams. She was able to pass them but could never find a balance between her education and her wrestling career. She ultimately made the decision to focus on her studies. YUMI apologises for the sudden announcement and wants everyone to remember the fun she had in the ring.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2020 SUMMER ~TJPW IS 『 』~”, 25/07/2020
Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall

Tomorrow’s show will have its matches kept secret until they happen. That seems to be the plan for the rest of this series of Tokyo Joshi events. Pretty much all of the regular roster will be here except for Natsumi Maki. She has other commitments tomorrow.

DDT “BEER GARDEN-LIKE PRO WRESTLING 2020 DAY 2”, 31/07/2020
Shinjuku FACE

1. Soma Takao Vs Hideki Okatani
2. Chris Brookes & Akito Vs Daisuke Sasaki & Mad Paulie
3. Jun Akiyama & Mizuki Watase Vs Kazusada Higuchi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga
4. Danshoku Dieno Produce Match – Elimination Tornado Pantyhose Generation Fight!: Danshoku Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine, Makoto Oishi & Antonio Honda Vs Seigo Tachibana, Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Keigo Nakamura
5. HARASHIMA Produce Loser Punishment 5 Way Match – Over The Top Rope Losing Rule: HARASHIMA Vs Toru Owashi Vs Yuki Ueno Vs Naomi Yoshimura Vs Kazuki Hirata
6. Tetsuya Endo Produce Match – DAMNATION Vs ALL OUT!: Tetsuya Endo & Nobuhiro Shimatani Vs Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata

The DISASTER BOX 5 Way Match will have the wrestlers exit the ring when they win a fall. The match continues until one wrestler is left and he will be declared the loser. Kazuki Hirata asked for Over The Top Rope rules to be included. If somebody gets thrown out of the ring they automatically lose the match. Toru Owashi also asked for the loser to be punished after the match. HARASHIMA agreed to both.

Another reason why this is a Beer Garden-Like show instead of a proper Beer Garden show is because alcohol is currently not allowed at the venue. It’s to prevent Coronavirus from spreading so food and drink in general aren’t allowed other than water that people bring themselves to stay hydrated.

BOYZ “SUMMER BOYZ VACATION!”, 16/08/2020

1. Shall We Dance??: Chris Brookes Vs Kazuki Hirata
2. Smile Nishinari Yankee First Formation!: HARASHIMA, Konosuke Takeshita & Yuko Miyamoto Vs Kazusada Higuchi, Keigo Nakamura & Hideki Okatani
3. Nautilus Vs Oishi Asahi!: Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura Vs Makoto Oishi & Shiori Asahi

Six months after its revival, the BOYZ are back in town! Makoto Oishi reunites with Shiori Asahi for a high level generation tag match against Nautilus. Also Konosuke Takeshita teaming with Smile Yankee is an eye catching trio.

DDT “GET ALIVE 2020”, 07/09/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai Vs Danshoku Dieno, Seigo Tachibana & Yoshiko
2. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Chris Brookes (c) Vs Drew Parker

If Chris Brookes Vs Drew Parker headlines the show it will be the first time DDT has an all British main event. Even without that position I think this is the first all British match promoted in DDT period.

Danshoku Dieno, Seigo Tachibana & Yoshiko is a group of superfriends if I ever saw one. Yoshiko bakes, Tachibana is evil and Dieno is the responsible one. Can Eruption match that? Saki Akai is pretty responsible, Yukio Sakaguchi has an evil side. Don’t know about Kazusada Higuchi’s cooking skills but if he can whip up a decent crème brûlée then that’s a good time for everybody.

Naomichi Marufuji will be on the show.

DDT “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020”, 03/11/2020
Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium

1. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs KING OF DDT Winner

The winner of this year’s KING OF DDT tournament gets the KO-D Openweight Title match at “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020”. The early story coming out of this is if Tetsuya Endo wins the tournament he gets to choose his challenger. And top of his list is Kenny Omega! Word has reached Omega and he isn’t impressed. He tweeted today “Your title will be nothing more than another trophy to me. I’ll feel nothing when I see you and the entire locker room crying. This is what you chose for DDT and yourself.”
