6. Ikemen-gun Vs YaroZ-gun: Jiro Kuroshio, HARASHIMA & Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Antonio Honda, Yuki Iino & Yumehito Imanari when HARASHIMA pinned Honda with the Somato (12:20).

It is a new era for BOYZ now that Akito is in charge of the brand. But some things are staying the same. The show began with the theme introduction of the wrestlers. Today’s theme was a “Fashion Show” because of the venue they were in. When the introductions were finished Yukio Sakaguchi announced that he was graduating from the BOYZ brand because he is too old to be of “BOYZ age”. Then the YaroZ team showed up promising to cause some trouble.

Thankfully in the main event Jiro Kuroshio, HARASHIMA & Sakaguchi rallied together to send the YaroZ packing. Akito got a good response for the new BOYZ. He said today was a chance for BOYZ to say goodbye to MAO, Sakaguchi and Kuroshio. Even if you were just on one show, you will always be friends with BOYZ. Everyone got together wearing fashionable jackets to mimic Kuroshio’s entrance as the show ended.

At the end of MAO’s farewell match, Konosuke Takeshita told him he is a strange wrestler. When MAO comes back from the UK, Takeshita hopes he will fight a more polished strange wrestler.

Danshoku Dieno wasn’t sure what he should do at this show because there wasn’t any men in the audience. Instead he tried to use a stuffed toy dog to interact with the all female crowd. In the ring he got to act as normal with his opponents. His match got thrown out when he wouldn’t stop harassing Keigo Nakamura.

Today is Hiroshi Yamato’s 36th birthday! He got to celebrate with a win while wearing a fancy looking suit.

An example was used by Sanshiro Takagi when he kept a chair he used at the TAKAYAMANIA show from earlier this week. Ohka’s example is the jacket and ten gallon hat he wore during his absence from Ganpro shows last year.

Cody Hall is the mystery wrestler in the opener. He met Antonio Honda and got along with him because the Gongitsune hand gesture resembles the Wolfpac gesture that Cody’s dad Scott Hall is known for.

The BOYZ brand is getting a fresh start under Akito’s management. Wrestlers booked on the first show will also be appearing at the SHIBUYA FASHION AWARD-BE Vint-Age 2019 festival the same day to promote a fashion brand called Yukihero Pro Wrestling. The main event will feature the wrestlers involved wearing costumes from that clothing line.

Akito doesn’t remember ever seeing MAO wrestle Takeshita in a singles match so he decided to book it before MAO’s excursion. Kouki Iwasaki is being booked on BOYZ because Akito wants to see him interact with DDT wrestlers more often. Higuchi and Yuki Iino are also being booked despite their alliance to the YaroZ brand. Akito believes there are women at these shows who find those kind of men attractive too. Akito plans to present them in a way that makes them more suitable for the BOYZ brand. DAMNATION wrestlers are disallowed except for Nobuhiro Shimatani because he works under Akito at the Drop Kick Bar.

3. Keisuke Ishii defeated Kazuki Hirata with the Kneel Kick (7:25).
4. Yukio Sakaguchi, Chris Brookes & Nobuhiro Shimatani defeated Tsutomu Oosugi, MAO & Mizuki Watase when Brookes pinned Watase with the Praying Mantis Bomb (12:40).

6. The First BOYZ For Being BOYZ Special Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Makoto Oishi & Akito when Takanashi pinned Oishi with the Hangover!! (11:03).

Everybody in the main event wanted to put on the best match possible because it’s been so long since the last BOYZ show. Makoto Oishi dodged the Somato from HARASHIMA. That gave Akito an opening to hit HARASHIMA with an upper Knee Strike. Oishi then put HARASHIMA in the Jikiden Tornado Clutch but Masahiro Takanashi swooped in and pinned Oishi with the Hangover!! cradle out of nowhere.

Sanshiro Takagi came out at the end of the show. He said today was he first BOYZ show in over a year and eight months. He asked the fans if they wanted the BOYZ brand to come back on a more regular basis. When the audience of women applauded, Takagi chose Akito as the new BOYZ producer. Akito is now responsible for everything BOYZ related. He was surprised by the news but says it is a good opportunity for him to create something new, both for BOYZ and for himself.

Keisuke Ishii knocked out Kazuki Hirata with the Kneel Kick. He apologised to the fans who were hoping to see Hirata dance. To make up for it he put on the Hirata GO! glasses and did a dance. He then put the glasses on Hirata’s head and lifted his unconscious body to the rhythm of the music until he got bored.

“Summer Date” was the theme for the show. During the show opening introductions each wrestler dressed in an outfit they thought was suitable for a summer date. Shunma Katsumata had some dogs with him, Yuki Ueno & Koju Takeda wore Disney merch for a double date in Disney Land, Ishii wore a Seibu Lions jersey for a date at the Seibu Dome, Hirata wore swimming trunks, both MAO and Nobuhiro Shimatani were dressed for bug catching and Yukio Sakaguchi wore a lucha mask because his idea is to have a pro wrestling date.

That was back during Watanabe’s rookie year, which was only 8 months ago but you get what I’m saying.

Tetsuya Endo injured his left heel during the pool wrestling show but it is only minor. The injury came from one of the ladder spots during his impromptu KO-D Openweight Title match with Sanshiro Takagi. He has been pulled out of the remaining bookings for the rest of June. But all he is missing is this weekend’s BOYZ show and the Korakuen Hall show at the end of the month. Mad Paulie takes Endo’s place at the BOYZ show.

Takagi’s failure to win the KO-D Title means he is currently locked out of “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2019” with no place for him available on the card. Now he finds himself in a Korakuen main event for the first time in ages with something to prove.

The YaroZ returned but so too did their feud with BOYZ. The special guest gravure model Shihomi Yoshino was kidnapped by Makoto Oishi & Mizuki Watase during the show so it was up to Kazusada Higuchi, Ken Ohka & Gota Ihashi to rescue her. The BOYZ had a secret weapon though. It wasn’t the towels they were wrestling in, it was Konosuke Takeshita as their mystery partner in the main event! But the combined power of manliness led the YaroZ to victory. Higuchi gave Oishi a Choke Slam, Ihashi followed up by doing the Kamigoe for the first time and Ohka finished it off with the Fire Spear. Oishi apologised on behalf of his team after the match but it was a trap to drop their guard so Takeshita could attack them. Saoru Anou, Samara and Nao Kakuta came to the rescue and sent the BOYZ packing. Higuchi invited Yoshino out for a drink after the show. She said yes but her manager came out and pulled her away from the ring complaining about how her client was treated today. Higuchi passed the invite over to the other women but they all turned him down. The rest of the YaroZ blamed Higuchi for ruining the show until Yoshino came back. She wanted to stop everyone from fighting and did so by stripping down to her swimsuit. Ohka thanked her because swimsuits make the world become peaceful. The other YaroZ had to hold him back because he was getting too excited.

The winner of the 4 Way Match would be given the right to date one of the female wrestlers who competed earlier in the show. Danshoku Dino pointed out he is gay so they agreed to let him date Yuki Ueno if he won. Dino was on track to win the match by setting Antonio Honda up for the Danshoku Driver but Ryuichi Sekine School Boy’d him for the flash three count. Sekine’s date prize would be decided by an entrance roulette performed by the women. When Sekine pressed the button it stopped on Cherry, much to his dismay. Cherry tried to flirt with him but Sekine turned Stone Cold, gave her a Stunner and drank some cans of beer afterward.

Nobuhiro Shimatani was originally supposed to be in the Kickboxing Match but he had to miss the show because of appendicitis. That may have been the best thing for him because Kohei Sato beat the hell out of his replacement Kazuki Hirata. The ring girl Shihomi Yoshino promised to take off a piece of clothing after every round until she was down to her swimsuit. No man in the building wanted to miss this so everyone did what they could to prevent the fight from being stopped even though Hirata was getting knocked out over and over. When it was clear that Hirata could not continue, there was a dash to find another replacement. One of the YaroZ MCs Brother Mon was forced to get into the ring against his will. He dodged a punch that hit Yukinori Matsui instead, knocking out the referee. Mon immediately gave up out of fear. A riot was about to break out among the wrestlers when Yoshino stopped all of them and promised to reveal the rest of her swimsuit. However her striptease was interrupted by the BOYZ wrestlers and they kidnapped her, leading to the main event showdown mentioned above.

Video staff member DT-YUTA returned to the ring for his first match in around nine years. He and his colleague Yumehito Imanari volunteered to fight against Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi, mostly so they could take out their frustrations on their bosses. They attacked with chairs until Takagi & Owashi fought back. Takagi choked Imanari against the ropes while demanding him to update the DDT UNIVERSE archive. His comments angered one of the other staff members Ryohei Fukuda in the audience and spurred him to confront Takagi in the ring. Takagi kicked him down. As this was going on, Owashi swung a broom at Imanari but missed and hit Takagi instead. Fukuda then threw powder into Takagi’s eyes, YUTA Dropkicked Takagi and Imanari rolled him over in a School Boy for the three count. When the match was over Imanari & YUTA complained to Takagi about their low wages. Their list of demands included a higher salary, more overtime offers and improved workplace treatment. Fukuda also asked Takagi to create an environment that will allow DDT’s video staff to be more creative. Doing so will bring out their talents more. Takagi came up with an idea. On 23rd April in Shin-Kiba 1st RING, the DDT Video Staff will organise and produce their own show!

Kikutaro offered to be the assistant referee for the women’s tag match. Cherry felt upstaged by Samara’s Indian dancing so she attacked her. When Samara, Anou and Kakuta all ganged up on Cherry to stomp on her, Kikutaro ruled it was fair and joined in. Kikutaro’s behaviour later turned perverted and Kakuta kicked him between the legs in self defence. Tetsuya Koda was still there to continue the match as the official referee.

The two teams in the opening match were fighting over an erotic magazine. A box of tissues also found its way into the match.

The BOYZ celebrated Halloween by transforming themselves into monsters for their matches. The BOYZ president Johnny Etajima pulled a lever to determine what monster the BOYZ would turn into before they made their entrances.

In the main event, Akito & Soma Takao were turned into “Wicked People” wearing monk clothing and carrying scythes. Takao kind of misread the description and acted more grumpy than wicked. HARASHIMA was a homicidal clown scaring everybody with his screams. Super Higuchi Ikemen was Kazusada Higuchi dressed as Elvis Presley. However, Higuchi struggled to fit in with the BOYZ and lost the match. He cried afterwards and asked Etajima if he was truly an ikemen. Etajima told him he worked 1.5 times harder than anyone else today but that what it means to be an ikemen. He struggled to explain why until music played and all of the BOYZ started dancing. Etajima then told Higuchi to join in. Higuchu saud he truly wants to be an ikemen from the bottom of his heart and he will do his best to become one.

Mad Paulie was the only DAMNATION wrestler to play dress up. It was already advertised that he would become Pumpkin Paulie so he had to go through with it. Masahiro Takanashi was Harry Potter and he briefly held back DAMNATION with magic spells. MAO & Mizuki Watase were both pirates.

For the remaining matches: Konosuke Takeshita was Dracula, Nobuhiro Shimatani was Where’s Wally/Waldo, Keisuke Ishii was No-Face from Spirited Away, Yuki Ueno was Pierrot, Rekka was a jiangshi hopping vampire, Shunma Katsumata & Diego were prisoners and everybody on Yukio Sakaguchi’s team were zombies.

2. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo (Blue) defeated Lady Beard & Shunma Katsumata (Red) when Endo pinned Katsumata with the Shooting Star Press (9:40).
3. HARASHIMA (Red) defeated Yuki Ueno (Blue) with the Somato (7:42).
4. Yukio Collection A.T. & Hirata Collection A.T. (Blue) defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Nobuhiro Shimatani (Red) when Yukio submitted Shimatani with the Yukio Lock (9:26).
5. KUDO & Makoto Oishi (Red) defeated Akito & Masahiro Takanashi (Blue) when Oishi pinned Takanashi with the Jikiden Tornado Clutch (12:47).
*Red Team defeats Blue Team 3-2.

The BOYZ roster was split into two teams for a show long contest where the audience were challenged to predict the results. In the end the Red Team defeated the Blue Team 3-2. Akito complained about the result after the main event and got into an argument with Nobuhiro Shimatani over it. Johnny Etajima got them to settle down. He announced the next BOYZ show will be held on 30th October and will be a Hallowe’en special.

The theme of this BOYZ show was Kabukicho host clubs. All of the wrestlers except for DAMNATION appeared dressed as club hosts and carrying roses. Yukio Sakaguchi was furious when he found out Hirata Collection A.T. was wearing the same outfit as him. He threw his rose at Hirata and then stormed off, never to be seen on the show again. Hirata had to wrestle Konosuke Takeshita & Nobuhiro Shimatani two against one until somebody unexpected came to the rescue. It was Hirata’s senior from high school, Yukio Collection A.T.! Together they defeated their opponents and celebrated with a model walk.

Mizuki Watase did not have enough time to return to the locker room after the opening ceremony so he stayed in the ring to change into his wrestling gear for the first match.
