6. GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles – 20th Champions Decision Match: Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari & Miss Mongol defeated Guts Ishijima, Masked Mystery & Shota when Mongol pinned Shota with a Cross Body (13:06).
*GPW become the 20th GWC 6-Man Tag Team Champions!

Miss Mongol thanked Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari for giving her the opportunities to wrestle even at her age. Before the show took place Mongol contacted Atsushi Onita for permission to close out the show the same way he used to. Onita gave her his blessing but after she did it, the Real GUTS Army attacked them. Shota said today’s result was a fluke and he demanded some rematches to take place on 10th and 11th August. Guts Ishijima won’t be at the 10th August show because he already has a booking with 666. Shota promised to bring along a replacement.

Minoru Fujita approached Shuichiro Katsumura after the semi-main and asked for a match with him. Fujita originally promised he would never come back to Ganbare☆Wrestling but he really wants to wrestle Katsumura. They agreed to have a match on 10th August but the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title will not be on the line.

Naoshi Sano beat Chikara clean then challenged Mitsuo Momota to a match. However Momota had another idea. It is clear that he and his son cannot beat Sano so rather then fight him again, they should all team up instead! That would be a better way for them to study Sano’s strength. Sano and Chikara were both puzzled by the idea but Momota convinced them to try it out.

Ken Ohka had some big news for Kouki Iwasaki. Next month he is going to have a couple of opponents from Big Japan coming in! Iwasaki faces Akira Hyodo on 10th August and Ryuichi Kawakami on the 11th!

Ohka and Shuhei Washida attempted to Bottle Cap Challenge before the show began but they both failed. So they changed the rules into a water drinking contest. Washida beat Ohka.

4. Shota The Brutal Wind That Blows: Shota, Guts Ishijima & Masked Mystery defeated Ken Ohka, Shuichiro Katsumura & Shuhei Washida when Ishijima submitted Washida with the WAR Special (17:07).
5. Dangan Senshi, Attack On Ganpro!: Masato Tanaka defeated Yumehito Imanari with the Sliding D (15:38).

Masato Tanaka thanked Yumehito Imanari for inviting him to wrestle in Ganbare☆Wrestling today. He brought up memories of Imanari training in one of the ZERO1 dojos long ago. Imanari explained to the fans that although he was never registered to ZERO1 he did get permission from them to train in their dojo. The two agreed to having another match sometime and Imanari says he is now a student of the DANGAN GYM.

Normally Shota is a Ganpro wrestler but today he represented GUTS along with Guts Ishijima & Masked Mystery. They were victorious over the Ganpro side but Ken Ohka felt something was off about Ishijima’s intentions. Ohka is trying to make pro wrestling a major sport and he wants to unify the indies to do it. But Guts World has closed down and it’s replacement Pro Wrestling GOING-UP didn’t last either. Now that Guts Ishijima is in Ganbare☆Wrestling will he quit here too? Just what is it about Ishijima and wrestling promotions that involve the letter G? Ishijima said he loves indie wrestling and he will be the one to unify it. He promised to come back to Ganpro next month to continue the rebirth of GUTS.

Chikara stood in his Mitsuo Momota’s corner so he could his father face Naoshi Sano one on one. But during the match Sano went out of the ring and dared Chikara to hit him. When Chikara wouldn’t, Sano knocked him down. He then made Momota hit the referee by accident with a Lariat. When that happened Sano brought in a chair but Chikara cut him off with the Saber Chop, allowing Momota to pin him when the ref recovered.

Keisuke Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki Vs Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase will take place on 2nd June.

3a. Rematch: Moeka Haruhi Vs Andras Miyagi ended in a Double Countout (9:21).
4. Are You In A Wrestling Textbook? Yumehito Imanari’s Believe S-Road: Shinjiro Otani defeated Yumehito Imanari with the Spiral Bomb (15:10).
5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Sento Minzoku ~Fate Reunion! Ohka & Isami!~: Ken Ohka, Shuichiro Katsumura & Shota defeated Isami Kodaka, Ryuichi Sekine & Daiki Shimomura when Ohka pinned Shimomura with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster (15:06).
6. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Sento Minzoku ~Fort Of Ganpro~: Minoru Fujita defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Samson Clutch (17:07).

Minoru Fujita grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat in the main event. Keisuke Ishii knocked him off the apron to the floor with the Kneel Kick. But when Ishii got Fujita back into the ring, Fujita caught him in the Samson Clutch to win the match. Afterwards Fujita said that regardless of the current feud between Ganbare☆Wrestling and Sento Minzoku, he was honored to have a singles match with Ishii in Tokyo today. He wants Ishii to stay on his level until the day he dies. Yumehito Imanari came out to challenge Fujita for a rematch. He is now learning from Shinjiro Otani’s pro wrestling textbook and if Fujita is a true pro wrestler, he will agree to a match on 23rd March. Fujita accepted the challenge because he isn’t going to let somebody surpass him just because they read a book written by one of the best wrestlers in Japan.

That’s not the only big match booked for the 23rd. After the semi-main event Ken Ohka called out to Isami Kodaka. At first Kodaka ignored him until Ohka kept screaming at him for a fight, saying it was personal. Kodaka accepts and they will face off on the 23rd!

Imanari learned a lot from wrestling Otani today. In fact Otani said Imanari deserves to read his textbook of pro wrestling. All 165 pages of it. Doesn’t matter if he is strong or weak, cool or bad. A real pro wrestler learns how to go about this sport in their own way.

Andras Miyagi didn’t come to Ganpro to make any friends especially with Moeka Haruhi. They wouldn’t stop fighting each other outside of the ring so they got counted out. A restart was allowed and the match lasted longer this time but it still ended with the same result. This time Haruhi almost entered the ring in time but Miyagi struck her with a chair, knocking her back to the floor in time to be counted out.

The worst thing that could happen to Chikara in the ring took place today. His chopping hand got injured! Thanks to a distracted referee, Naoshi Sano used the ring bell as a shield against Chikara’s Saber Chops. Chikara was in so much pain that the referee had to stop the match and declare Sano the winner. A concerned Mitsuo Momota checked on his son afterwards.

5. Fate Of POWER OF DREAM Showdown: Jake Lee defeated Kouki Iwasaki with the Back Drop (11:18).
6. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Sento Minzoku In Korakuen Hall!! – Texas Tornado Singapore Cane Tag Match: Yumehito Imanari & Shota defeated Ryuichi Sekine & Daiki Shimomura when Imanari pinned Shimomura with the Chubby Knee (10:44).
7. No Rope Barbed Wire Death Match: Minoru Fujita defeated Ken Ohka with the Modified SAYONARA (19:51).

Ganbare☆Wrestling’s return to Korakuen Hall was headlined by Ken Ohka and Minoru Fujita fighting tooth and nail in a ring surrounded with barbed wire instead of ropes. Barbed wired wasn’t enough for them as a ladder also came into play during the match. Ohka Suplexed Fujita from the top of the ladder while later on Fujita dove off the ladder onto Ohka with barbed wire wrapped around his waist. Ohka wouldn’t give up and kept fighting to get up after Fujita hit him with the Fire Spear and a Vertical Drop Brainbuster. It took a modified Tombstone Piledriver for Fujita to finally put his rival away.

Fujita told Ohka that this was the result of the last two years going back to the previous time Ganpro was in Korakuen. Fujita even ran down Ohka for drawing a smaller crowd this time! If Ohka still believes he is trying his best and working his hardest then he should be miserable from today’s result. Fujita doesn’t care if he does his best so he has no regrets. He said Sento Minzoku are done with Ganpro and will not come back. When they left the ring, Yumehito Imanari called for them to stop. Imanari promised Fujita that he has a purpose for him to stay in Ganpro. He wants to fight Fujita at Kitazawa Town Hall on 6th January! Imanari described Fujita as an “A Class War Criminal” that he should fight. Fujita accepted the challenge while Imanari was encouraging Ohka to stand back up. When Sento Minzoku did leave, Ohka and Imanari admitted that today’s show was a poorer draw than two years ago but they will learn from it. They won’t show their weak points anymore. Everyone in Ganpro will give their energy and full feelings toward the company to make it even bigger! Everyone will work hard so more fans will come see them. Imanari then told everyone his phone number and to call him if they have anything exciting to tell him.

Imanari and Shota continued to rally a crowd around him inside the Korakuen lobby after the show was over. There was a lot of video game talk like how Imanari bought Toukon Retsuden for the original Playstation and that he has to evolve like a Pokémon. Shota said that the indies have been evolving during the 2010s and strangely enough he thinks the scene now reminds him of the 1990s. Imanari then told everyone they will return pro wrestling to the golden age once more. Ganbare☆Wrestling will be their DeLorean!

Imanari & Shota have good reason to be confident. They are riding high from beating Ryuichi Sekine & Daiki Shimomura in a Texas Tornado Singapore Cane Tag Match. No tags were needed and Singapore Canes were all legal. Imanari Back Body Dropped Shota over the ropes and onto Sekine to take him out of the match. He then wound up breaking a cane over his knees before hitting Shimomura with the match winning Chubby Knee Strike.

Kouki Iwasaki came close to beating Jake Lee with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster 10 minutes into their match. Lee struck back with Middle Kicks until he could get in a Back Drop for the three count. Lee would be happy to share the ring with Iwasaki again some day either as opponents or partners. Iwasaki would rather be his opponent and maybe have it happen over in All Japan.

Speaking of All Japan, the group’s head honcho Jun Akiyama was in action kneeing the crap out of Keisuke Ishii. The newly costumed Ishii had some power in his Suplexes but was struck down with Running Knee Strikes and and Exploder Suplex. Ishii was able to kick out of them but was done when Akiyama gave him the Sternness Dust α. Akiyama patted Ishii on the chest after the match. Ishii was hoping that today would be the start of Chapter 3 in his wrestling career. He adores this kind of pro wrestling so he is thankful to Akiyama for giving him this match. He is now even more motivated to grow and also study Akiyama’s style.

Chikara was given a bouquet to celebrate his fifth year in wrestling. Carbell Ito threw out Christmas candy into the audience then told Chikara he came here today to judge him. They went into a long chop exchange during the match. Chikara accidentally hit Mitomi Masayuki with the Saber Chop and Ito dove onto Masayuki afterwards. He then hit a Diving Body Press to Chikara. Naoshi Sano took over the match and pinned Chikara with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster. Ito stomped on Chikara when the match was over.

It was announced that Fairy Nihonbashi had gone missing and had to be replaced. Taking her spot was Fairy Suidobashi, the same person but wearing a Yomiuri Giants jersey and announced as the “Fairy Of The Tokyo Dome“. She carried a mini baseball bat and used it as a wand to cast spells on Moeka Haruhi, HARUKAZE and even the referee. The late part of the match focused on HARUKAZE and Sumire Natsu squaring off against each other. Natsu countered an Armbar into a Power Bomb and pinned HARUKAZE with the Yoran DDT.

The in ring return for Shuhei Washida ended in defeat. Shuichiro Katsumura trapped him in a Toe Hold while Nobuhiro Tsurumaki & Takeshi Okada held Hiroshi Yamato & Yukihiro Abe back from breaking the hold.

6. Danshoku Dieno, Kazusada Higuchi & Keisuke Ishii defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Yuki Iino when Dieno pinned Iino with the Danshoku Driver (17:47).

Hisaya Imabayashi asked the referee and all of the wrestlers in the main event to prevent Danshoku Dieno from hunting for men in the audience. Yukinori Matsui immediately began counting out Dieno as he made his entrance to get him into the ring ASAP while the wrestlers tried to block his more lewd wrestling moves during the match. Dieno understood there were rules put in place to keep him under control today but he has his own rules which he must abide with. Kazusada Higuchi ended up agreeing with Dieno and actively helped him use his moveset, even if it meant pushing their other partner Keisuke Ishii’s face into Dieno’s bare backside. After the match Dieno told the audience that rules are definitely important in DDT but they change on a daily basis. He promoted DDT’s biggest show of the year happening next Sunday and if they want to see more of Dieno’s extraordinary life then they should come down to Sumo Hall.

Chikara defeated Antonio Honda to clear his first defence of the World Omori Title. His next challenger in 2019 will be against Masahiro Takanashi, the winner of the Battle Royal earlier in the show. Takanashi appeared after the match as part of a group of wrestlers carrying Jason Kincaid down to the ring. Takanashi congratulated Chikara but called his match bad. It took 4 years for Takanashi to finally get this title shot so he will not waste his chance! He only has one shot but that’s all he needs. Chikara said he once received guidance from Kazushi Sakuraba and Katsuyori Shibata at the Laughter7 gym in Omori. Because of that he cannot be defeated in this town!

Takanashi was able to win the Battle Royal thanks to some help. Jun Kasai knocked him out of the ring but Takanashi landed on KUDO outside, avoiding the ground because KUDO caught him. Takanashi got back into the ring and eliminated Kasai to win.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Yuki Ueno and Chinsuke Nakamura hosted a wrestling costume contest during intermission. The contestants dressed up as Keiji Muto, HARASHIMA, Keisuke Ishii, Gabaiji-chan, the Brahman Brothers, Kazuki Hirata, Kento Miyahara and there was one who just wore a generic yellow mask. The Miyahara impersonator was voted MVP and the female Brahamn Brothers also won an award.

1. FUMA Vs Great Sasuke

Something that has bothered FUMA for years was the period when The Great Sasuke came out to “Metal On Metal” by Anvil. That song isn’t heavy metal enough by FUMA’s standards so he wants to show Sasuke what real heavy metal is like!

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Yusuke Kubo and SAGAT are also booked on the show. Bands announced to perform include Dragon’s Den, Hellhound, Alice In Hell, Collar Bone, The Kandarivas and Black Sweet. Hellhound will perform “Warriors Of Rising Sun” live for FUMA’s ring entrance.

4. THE ROOT OF WRESTLING: Hideki Suzuki defeated Kouki Iwasaki with the Double Arm Suplex (11:37).
5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Sento Minzoku Singles Series: Ryuichi Sekine, Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita (3) defeated Ken Ohka, Keisuke Ishii & Shota (2).
5a. Shota eliminated Daiki Shimomura with a Casadora (5:41).
5b. Minoru Fujita eliminated Shota with the SAYONARA (3:18).
5c. Minoru Fujita eliminated Keisuke Ishii by Ring Out (11:50).
5d. Ken Ohka eliminated Minoru Fujita by Ring Out (1:15).
5e. Ryuichi Sekine eliminated Ken Ohka with the Dragon Kick (11:26).

The first meeting between Ganbare☆Wrestling and Sento Minzoku took place as a singles Gauntlet match with Ring Out rules in effect until the final match. Things started off well for Ganpro when Shota pinned Daiki Shimomura. Sento Minzoku’s newest member Minoru Fujita turned the tables by beating Shota and then Keisuke Ishii. When Ken Ohka stepped into the ring to fight him, Fujita instead decided to eliminate himself. Ryuichi Sekine then attacked Ohka from behind to begin the final round of the match. Sekine bloodied Ohka’s forehead outside the ring and he blocked the Fire Spear with a Kneelift inside the ring. Sekine wrapped his tail around his leg and hit Ohka with the Dragon Kick. The extra power behind the move got Sekine and Sento Minzoku the victory, although Ohka did kick out right as the ref counted three.

The disputed finish led to a brawl between the two sides. During Sekine’s attempts to tell everyone it was a three count, Shimomura grabbed the microphone off him and told Ishii he was coming after him. He’s ready for a fight anytime, anywhere. Fujita then bragged about being back in the main story of Ganpro. He both won and lost his matches today, showing that this invasion isn’t as black and white as it seems. His purpose in the unit is to make everything good in both BASARA and Ganpro. Ohka said his side lost today but losing is never the end when it comes to wrestling. Life goes on and Ohka still has fight in him to have another match. He told everyone that both Ganpro and BASARA will be holding shows in Shin-Kiba 1st RING on 17th November. Ohka wants singles matches against Sekine on one show and Fujita on the other. They both accepted. Sekine promised to be in perfect condition while Fujita told Ohka to borrow the power of B’z and “BAD COMMUNICATION” when they face off again.

Hideki Suzuki isn’t sure if Kouki Iwasaki has earned his respect yet, but Suzuki never wanted to give him that in the first place. Suzuki would rather have Iwasaki show no respect and come at him with a killer instinct. That is how Suzuki does it and he wants his opponents to do that too. With that said he did shake Iwasaki’s hand after the match.

The match between Shigehiro Irie and Chikara featured unexpected interference from Shin Mokujin Ken, Mizuki Watase and Keisuke Ishii. Both Watase and Ishii launched an attack train on Irie as a good gestured farewell. They encouraged the referee Daisuke Kiso to join in but Irie caught him. He threatened to give Kiso the Black Hole Slam but instead gently put him down and gave him a hug. Irie went on to beat Chikara and they shook with their left hands. Irie left the ring with a big smile on his face.

Both teams in the women’s match wanted to be called Team HARUKAZE. At the beginning of the show Moeka Haruhi announced she is joining Ganpro to support the Ganbare☆Joshi division in HARUKAZE’s absence.

Hiroshi Yamato & Yumehito Imanari brought radishes to the ring and used them as weapons on their opponents. Shuichiro Katsumura & Nobuhiro Tsurumaki turned the radishes against the team and won the match.

*Ken Ohka fails in V1. Keisuke Ishii becomes the 27th Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Champion!
5. Fanfare For The Imanari Revolution: Yumehito Imanari defeated Takeshi Okada with a Clothesline (11:13).

This show marks five years of Ganbare☆Wrestling. The promotion has always been about Ken Ohka first and foremost but Yumehito Imanari now takes offence to that. When the show began Imanari asked Ohka why does he always get the main event? Why does Ohka get to be the face of Ganpuro? Imanari asked if Ohka ever tweeted from the official Ganpuro account. He then asked if Ohka even knows the account’s password. Ohka stayed silent. If Ohka doesn’t know the password then he doesn’t deserve to be the face of Ganpuro. Today is the beginning of the Imanari Revolution! Ohka defended himself and said as the face of Ganpuro and the reigning Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Champion he had to be in today’s main event. The ring announcer proved him wrong when he revealed the match order that had Imanari Vs Takeshi Okada in the main event and Ohka’s title defence underneath.

In the main event Imanari was accompanied by Yukihiro Abe carrying homemade flags with “Imanari Revolution” written on it. With a new wave of confidence, Imanari took the fight to Okada. He dropped him with the Northern Lights Bomb and hit Clothesline after Clothesline from all directions until Okada could not kick out of the pins any longer. Okada protested that he raised his shoulder up in time but the result stood. As part of their agreement before the match, Okada now has to give the LINE ID address of the cute woman who cuts his hair to Imanari. Imanari also wants to challenge Shuichiro Katsumura to a one on one match next month. Katsumura approves of Imanari grabbing momentum when it comes to him but that doesn’t mean his skill has grown also. His revolution won’t succeed without strength. With that said, Katsumura accepted the challenge. Imanari closed the show by playing “BAD COMMUNICATION”. The song is the tune for Ganpuro as well as Ohka. Ohka and Imanari had another argument after the show over who should be the face of Ganpuro. Ohka also wants to know what their Twitter password is.

Ohka’s day went from bad to worse when he lost his championship to Keisuke Ishii. Ohka quickly went for the Brainbuster on the outside but Ishii reversed it. Ohka later went for the Fire Spear but it was countered with a Front Knee Kick. Ohka came back with a short range Spear. Ishii turned the tables by countering a Kido Clutch into a Tiger Suplex. He then hit the Kneel Kick for the three count. Ishii was so happy to win a title that he’s dreamed of ever since he was a trainee. He told Ohka if any Ganpuro wrestler ever wants to challenge him for the title he will accept it.

Shuichiro Katsumura kicked Shinichiro Tominaga in the face so many times during their tag match that Tominaga begged him to stop. He said that he needed to help with his daughter’s spring break homework but it was just a distraction so he could push Katsumura into the referee. Tominaga went for the Erotic Driver but Katsumura turned it into the Ninja Choke and quickly made him give up.

Saki refused to shake HARUKAZE’s hand at the start of their match because HARUKAZE missed last month’s show. They were supposed to face each other last month but HARUKAZE missed it to go on a family trip to Dubai. They had a conversation about her vacation while they wrestled.

Everyone in the Falls Count Anywhere Match came armed with a weapon. Sanshiro Takagi had bottle rockets, Gota Ihashi wore boxing gloves and Chikara brought out a ladder. Takagi also brought out a bag of erotic magazines and forced them onto his opponent’s faces until Yukihiro Abe stopped him with an Enzuigiri. Abe and Ihashi then gave Takagi the Golden☆Trigger. Chikara spun around with the ladder on his shoulders to knock everyone down then hit the Saber Chop from the ladder to Ihashi for the win.

Shuhei Washida came out at the start of the show and said he is out of action with a herniated disc. He regrets getting injured so soon into his career with only four matches under his belt. He hopes he will be back soon.
