In his third attempt, Takumi Tsukamoto has become the new Union MAX Champion! After the match the former champion Fuminori Abe admitted he never felt more frustrated after a loss. He was able to do so much as the MAX Champion and it today he was reminded there is somebody out there stronger than him. He remembered when he won the title from Masahiro Takanashi under unfortunate circumstances. The BASARA fans still supported him and still treated him like a deserving champion. He knows they will continue to support him so he will be 100 million times stronger when he fights Tsukamoto again in order to win the belt back! Tsukamoto said that BASARA is just about to become 5 years old. It is still an immature and developing promotion just like he is still an immature and developing human being. He burst into tears from the crowd cheering him and joked about being a crybaby. He promised to devote himself to being Takumi Tsukamoto in order to get even more stronger.

One of the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT semi-finals is set. IRON PRIEST will take on Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura for a spot in the final on 7th December. It is the rematch of last year’s final and Shimomura wants revenge!

In the week leading up to the show, FUMA announced the Iron Family was disbanding and a new unit will replace it. The new unit is called Asian Kung Fu Revolution because the roots of both yoga and heavy metal can be found in Asia. FUMA, Yusuke Kubo, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato are the members of this group.

The 4th edition of the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT will take place throughout the remaining months of the year. Last year’s tournament crowned the first IRON FIST TAG Champions. Daichi Kazato fought using the power of Best Stretchman V3 but it wasn’t enough to defeat Speed Of Sounds. After the match, Kazato announced he was retiring the Best Stretchman gimmick. He asked Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and FUMA if they could all be in the same unit together because they have known each other going all the way back to their days in Union Pro. FUMA isn’t sure if that would be the right choice for Kazato. He wants to see what Kazato has got first before The Iron Family makes their decision.

Takumi Tsukamoto became the No. 1 Contender and will get a Union MAX Title shot on 10th November. Fuminori Abe has never beaten Tsukamoto but he is confident he will make him submit. Tsukamoto told him he has never given up anything in his life. Abe promised to take Tsukamoto’s “give up virginity” on 10th November.

The 2020 IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT will take place in November and December. Round 1 will take place on the 10th and 14th November. The semi finals will be on 7th December and the final will be on 22nd December. The winning team will challenge Speed Of Sounds for the IRON FIST TAG Titles at a later date.

There was a big upset in Match #3 when Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino defeated FUMA & SAGAT. The finish saw Kamino score the pin on FUMA, without a doubt the biggest in his career. This happened because FUMA hit SAGAT by mistake and SAGAT hit him with a Spear in response. This left FUMA open for Kamino to Lariat him for the victory. Afterwards trouble brewed when FUMA and SAGAT got into a fight. The Iron Family came out to break them up. FUMA left with the rest of the Iron Family but SAGAT stayed in the ring on his own. Sparky members Ryota Nakatsu & Akiyori Takizawa then came out and shook hands with SAGAT. They all left the ring together.

Nakano & Kamino challenged Speed Of Sounds for the IRON FIST TAG Titles after the main event.

Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ 2020

The annual BASARA Vs Dove Pro summer feud gets even spicier this year with the addition of the Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament! Itadaki is the yearly tournament to determine BASARA’s strongest wrestler. The inclusion of Dove Pro this year gives them their own name to use, the Heaven Summit ~Choten~. The end result is two tournaments being merged together. The first two rounds will be held on BASARA shows and the final rounds are on a Dove Pro show.

Virus Concerns, Potential Bride For Chikara, Okinawa Title Match, Nakano Back For Iron Man Title

There is no change to the DDT Group’s entire event schedule despite growing fears over the coronavirus outbreak. However DDT is taking measures to prevent the virus from spreading. People attending the shows are advised to wear face masks and also use any hand sanitizers provided by the venue. All wrestlers will also be wearing face masks during autograph and photo sessions (yes that means they will be wearing the masks while getting their photos taken with fans). This will be the plan going forward until the status of virus infections changes.

Due to Sanshiro Takagi’s increasingly busy schedule, he will no longer have the time to make public appearances for Gake no Fuchi Joshi. He has selected Munenori Sawa to take his place as the deputy owner. Takagi is still the proper owner of Gake no Fuchi but anything regarding public announcements, decisions and appearances will be done by Sawa from now on. Sawa wanted to decline the position but was guilted into taking it because they were broadcasting the announcement live online at the time.

Another potential bride has been found for Chikara! The idol Mao is bringing along Ichiho Shirahata from Gekijo-ban Gokigen Teikoku Ω to see the show. Shirahata is familiar with pro wrestling and has seen both Miyako Matsumoto and Tokyo Joshi Pro matches live in person. At first Chikara was worried about having to wrestle against Matsumoto because he did not want to hit a woman. But with Mao supporting him and a potential marriage with Shirahata on the line, he is motivated and ready to fight like a warrior.

He still desires the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title even after briefly becoming the champion for around 30 seconds last year. He wants to be in the Battle Royal to win the title again. Takagi is considering the idea but is worried that the fans would get turned off the show when they see Nakano’s physique. Takagi will only allow Nakano to enter the match if he gets in shape for it.

Miyu Yamashita and Natsumi Maki continue their series of singles matches. Yamashita was happy with Maki’s performance in their previous match. Now she will see if Maki has gotten even better in the third match.

Miyako Matsumoto is continuing this theme by using pro wrestling to find a potential bride for Chikara. This came about when Chikara took part in a rap battle and owned himself by admitting he can’t get married. The “bride” in question is Mao from the idol group Senosister. She describes herself as the Atsushi Onita of the idol world, having attended a Super FMW show in 2016 and getting Onita’s “holy water” thrown at her. She saw a picture of Chikara and was turned off because he looks like her uncle. Nevertheless, she agreed to attend the next show because her rent is due and she wants the money. Munenori Sawa was also invited to help out.

Kota Umeda announced he will return to pro wrestling and will make more appearances in BASARA. Umeda is a former DDT wrestler who quit pro wrestling last July in to focus on working for his family’s business.
