1. Woman In Osaka Castle ~Ganjo Special Tag Match~: SAKI & Haruka Aikawa defeated HARUKAZE & Momoka Hanazono when SAKI pinned HARUKAZE with a Brainbuster (14:35).
2. Ganpro East-West Battle 2021!: Tsuyoshi Okada & Kota Umeda defeated Shinichiro Tominaga & Kouki Iwasaki when Iwasaki Umeda pinned Tominaga with the Umeda Driver (9:24).
3. GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles – Ganpro Osaka Winter Team! THE HALFEE Vs Pocchari Joshi East-West Allied Forces Full Scale Battle!: Katsuzaki Shunosuke, Moehiko Harumisawa defeated Kuuga, Yumehito Imanari & Yuna Manase when Shunosuke submitted Manase with the Jumping Cross Armbreaker (9:37).
*V2 for THE HALFEE.
4. Battle Without Honor ~Father Of 2 Children At Home Vs Father Of 2 Children With Child Support~: Ken Ohka defeated Shoichi Uchida with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster (14:15).
5. Ganpro Sanada Maru! Team Drift Vs Team MAKAI Special Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie defeated Shota & Asuka when Ishii pinned Shota with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (19:07).
For the first time in a year Ganbare☆Pro was back in Osaka. Shota was in a hard fought match today teaming with Asuka against Team Drift. Asuka was taken out by Shigehiro Irie’s Beast Bomber, leaving Shota to fight Keisuke Ishii. Shota countered the High Angle Double Arm DDT into the Gannosuke Clutch but only got a nearfall out of it. Ishii cut off Shota with a Running Knee and pinned him with the Double Arm DDT. Ishii said he didn’t want to be left behind because the other three wrestlers have a lot of momentum behind them. For him it was a stubborn match and a stubborn victory. Shota is finding himself in a rut since losing the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title during the week. He hasn’t won a match since then and now he has to figure out what to do against Yasu Urano now that there is no championship at stake.
The battle of the dads began with Shoichi Uchida trying to start a “Child Support” chant. He doesn’t have a good history with marriage (twice divorced and four kids in total) which makes him mad when he sees other wrestlers with happy families, like Ken Ohka. The two of them argued over their opinions about marriage as the match turned more into a No DQ brawl with chairs involved. Uchida was motivated enough to kick out of the Fire Spear at one but Ohka finished him off with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster. Ohka shouted at Uchida “Why didn’t you show that passion when you were married?” while he pinned him.
Yuna Manase wanted the GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles put on the line at the last minute. THE HALFEE turned her down until Yumehito Imanari handed out pWo (Pocchari World Order) shirts to his tag partners to show they are a unit. Kuuga was given an S sized shirt which he hated so he walked off. He came back when Manase took out an XL shirt for him. THE HALFEE agreed to defend the titles and came out on top. Katsuzaki Shunosuke said the teamwork they’ve been doing for over a year wasn’t going to lost against a brand new team. Shu Sakurai wants to defend the trios title all the time in 2021 and end the year with THE HALFEE appearing in the Red And White Song Battle on New Year’s Eve. Moehiko Harumisawa is annoyed that she didn’t maintain their instruments properly. Imanari still thinks forming the pWo with Manase is a good idea.

5. UWA World 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Ryuichi Sekine, Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura defeated Naoki Tanizaki, “brother” YASSHI & Kohei Kinoshita when Kodaka pinned Tanizaki with the Isamiashi Zan (17:01).
*V1 for Sento Minzoku.

Today’s Shinjuku FACE doubleheader began with BASARA’s turn in the Beer Garden. Dove Pro came in with the goal of winning the UWA World 6-Man Tag Team Titles from Sento Minzoku. The main event was even done “DOVE Style” by playing music while everyone fought. “brother” YASSHI did his best to annoy everyone while Kohei Kinoshita co-operated well with his partners. They were kept busy with Ryuichi Sekine & Daiki Shimomura but the match went down to Isami Kodaka and Naoki Tanizaki. Kodaka survived the Implant Bomb and hit the Isamiashi Zan for his team’s first successful title defence.

Kodaka said today’s matches were a little confusing because there were BASARA wrestlers in Dove Pro teams. Tanizaki told him that Dove Pro defeated BASARA today three matches to two. Kodaka disagreed because BASARA won the main event title match. They’ll continue this feud in Osaka on 12th August.

Ryota Nakatsu got new theme music for his match with Kenshin Chikano. His right arm was targeted but plenty of kicks and the V Slider got him a big win in the BASRA Vs Dove Pro rivalry.

Changes were made to a few matches at the start of the show when it was revealed that FUMA was jumping ship to Dove Pro! He made the decision because Dove Pro’s ending song is more heavy metal than BASARA’s ending song. Kodaka decided to add FUMA and SAGAT to opposite teams in the Hardcore Tag Match. The Dove Pro team won when Gunso threw a chair in SAGAT’s face. Yusuke Kubo pushed FUMA away after the match but they reconciled with the heavy metal hand sign. At the end of the show Kodaka told FUMA that BASARA is not ashamed of heavy metal. They will hold another “FUMA FEST” this year so they hope he will be return to BASARA for that.

Rey Paloma used a Sleeper Hold to render Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi unconscious. However Hiroshi’s yoga ability made him reach enlightenment in this situation so he was able to fight back. Paloma powered up in his own way by pulling down his wrestling tights to his ankles and wrestling the rest of the match in a red thong. The tights also prevented Hiroshi from doing the Scorpion Deathlock because they would his own legs would get tangled in them. That allowed Paloma to use steal the win with a Backslide Pin.

The 8 Way Drunkers match was changed to a 6 Way with the removal of FUMA and SAGAT. The rules were a wrestler had to drink a shot of tequila after every kickout or rope break. Shoichi Uchida stood around dressed like a bartender providing the drinks. Everybody got drunk. Uchida ended up shoving the bottle of tequila into Takato Nakano’s mouth and Kabuki Kid took advantage to get the pin.

4. Crash! BASARA x DOVE Battle ~ Hardcore Tag Match: Ryota Nakatsu & Ryuichi Sekine defeated Gunso & Kabuki Kid when Nakatsu pinned Kid with the V Slider onto a Chair (13:22).
5. DOVE World Title – Crash! BASARA x DOVE Battle: Naoki Tanizaki (c) defeated Fuminori Abe with the Libido (17:54).
*V4 for Naoki Tanizaki.

The final day of Fighting Beer Garden 2018 began with the crossover show between BASARA and Dove Pro. In the main event Naoki Tanizaki put the DOVE World Title on the line against BASARA’s Fuminori Abe. Abe had the support of the entire BASARA roster behind him and it showed when they did a train entrance with Abe down to the ring. The title match broke down after a ref bump which resulted in all of the Dove wrestlers entering the ring to attack Abe. The BASARA wrestlers came to the rescue and got a few digs in on Tanizaki to even the playing field. Abe though he had the match won when he struck the champion with a Rabbit Punch and placed him in the Manjigatame. However Tanizaki countered the hold into the Implant. He then hid the Reverse Implant but Abe kicked out at one! Abe caught Tanizaki in a Crucifix Pin in a last ditch attempt to squeak in a victory but Tanizaki kicked out and hit Abe with the Casanova knee strike. He then hit his Libido Go 2 Sleep variant for the three count.

The overall score on today’s show was 3-2 for Dove Pro. Tanizaki and the rest of Dove Pro rubbed it in after the main event. They came all the way to Tokyo for this? Where’s the energy you get at the Dove shows out west? Ryota Nakatsu confronted Tanizaki in response to this. Tanizaki asked who this guy was and the crowd started chanting for Nakatsu. Tanizaki promoted Dove Pro’s event at Shin-Kiba 1st RING on 20th September then assured Nakatsu that he remembers their Union MAX Title match at Korakuen Hall is happening the next day. Isami Kodaka said that he lost to Tanizaki, Abe lost to Tanizaki and Takato Nakano lost to Tanizaki. But Nakatsu will beat Tanizaki! Nakatsu will win the MAX Title and bring it back to BASARA! Even though there is tension between the champion and challenger, things are a little friendlier between Kodaka and Gunso. They thanked everyone for coming to the show and shook hands at the end.

BASARA’s big win of the day came form the Hardcore Tag Match. When Gunso & Kabuki Kid made their entrance they decided to stay away from the ring. That drew Nakatsu & Ruichi Sekine out to them for an arena wide brawl. Chairs and steel boxes were used throughout. Sekine wiped out the Dove team with a big dive outside the ring while Nakatsu delivered a Superplex to Kabuki Kid onto the weapons inside. Nakatsu then finished off Kid with the V Slider onto the chairs to win the match for Cavalry.

Dove’s Rey Paloma decided to put his restaurant Acapulco on the line against one of the BASARA wrestlers. Who he faced was determined by a 4 Way Battle Royal. Gouma Ryu & SAGAT worked together to eliminate Best Stretchman V3. They then turned on and eliminated each other. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi won the match and all he did was practice yoga the entire time! When it was time for Paloma to wrestle him, Paloma thrusted his crotch into Hiroshi’s face while he was still meditating. This annoyed Hiroshi enough to react and put Paloma in different holds. Somehow the moves both wrestlers were doing began to resemble yoga holds. The back and forth continued until Paloma trapped Hiroshi in a Cradle for the three count. The result meant Paloma successfully defended the ownership of his restaurant for the first time. He cheered Hiroshi up by suggesting he can hold monthly yoga sessions at the restaurant.

The rule of the Drunkers Match was Kodaka and Shoichi Uchida both had to drink a shot of tequila after every round until one man was left standing. After Round 7 both men were too hammered to get back up so the match was brought to an end. The winner was then decided by three judges: Yuya Okada, Yuki Aoki and Gouma Ryu. Aoki & Ryu voted for Uchida when he handed them 10,000 yen. Uchida was declared the winner by split decision!

The fighting between BASARA and Dove Pro continued after the opening match.

2. Batsuichi-gun Vs Ganpuro-gun: Minoru Fujita & Shoichi Uchida defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & Mizuki Watase when Fujita pinned Watase with a Modified Cradle (14:55).

4. Forgotten K ICE BREAK: Yasu Urano defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with a Cradle (11:30).
5. Special Single Match: Ken Ohka defeated MIYAWAKI with the Fire Spear (21:06).
Ken Ohka’s road to recovery since losing his money and his championship began with a victory over MIYAWAKI. Hs spoke about MIYAWAKI’s debut match that took place in Differ Ariake back in 2002 and how both have progressed over the last 15 years. Ohka then said how hard he works at making Ganbare☆Wrestling succeed while some other chubby men stay at home doing nothing. Both Ganbare The Great and Shoichi Uchida at ringside got mad when they heard this but Ohka told them to use that anger as motivation. Great told Ohka he’ll kill him then left.
The mess made by the Double Sweet Death Match made both Shinichiro Tominaga and Yasu Urano conscious over bits of food flying at the audience while they wrestled each other. So they tried to take it easy at first until the tension between them grew and grew.
The entire venue was filled with the smell of food after the Double Sweet Death Match. The teams of Yumehito Imanari & Sumire Natsu and Shota & HARUKAZE battled it out in a ring filled with snacks and candy. Long marshmallow bars were attached to the ropes like lighttubes and cracker pops were placed on the turnbuckles rigged to explode at a certain point. The ring was a mess by the end of the match. A bell rang again to warn everyone of something. Everyone continued fighting until the crackers all exploded, knocking everyone out.
Minoru Fujita & Shoichi Uchida spent their match finding different ways to misbehave. They both shook Shuichiro Katsumura & Mizuki Watase’s hands then refused to let go. They then complained about how hard it was for them to wrestle today whenever their opponents got the upper hand. It was only when some young fans in the audience started cheering “Batsuichi!” that they became motivated to wrestle. Fujita low blowed Watase and pinned him with a Wrist Clutch Small Package to more chants of “Batsuichi!”
Ganpuro were given a boost by the visit of wrestling promoter Fumihiko Uwai to their show. Uwai congratulated Ohka on bringing Ganpuro this far including a successful show in Korakuen Hall. He is looking forward to seeing what is next for the company. Uwai stuck around to do ring announcing for the Dai Suzuki Vs Kamui match.
