Ban-etsu East Line Train

There will be a train ride leaving Koriyama Station to the destination Iwaki Station where several street pro wrestling matches will be held. The matches will be announced on the day of the show.

The wrestlers taking part include Yuki Ueno, To-y, MAO, KANON, HARASHIMA, Kazusada Higuchi (replacing Danshoku Dieno who hasn’t been cleared to wrestle), Chris Brookes, Kazuki Hirata, Yukio Naya, Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku and Kazuma Sumi. Several of them will be on the train ride too.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “STEP FORWARD ’25”, 29/11/2025
Osaka Azalea Taisho Hall

1. Toga Vs Chika Nanase
2. Arisu Endo Vs Shino Suzuki
3. Raku & Pom Harajuku Vs Uta Takami & Ren Konatsu
4. Mizuki & Mifu Ashida Vs Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro
5. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao Vs Yuki Arai & Mahiro Kiryu
6. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara Vs Kaya Toribami & Kira Summer
7. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi Vs Suzume & HIMAWARI

The Princess Of Princess Title match buildup is getting more serious with the big guns now starting to appear. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi are teaming up as Daydream again for the first time since July to give Suzume a big challenge ahead of the title match. Suzume isn’t teaming with Arisu Endo to reform Daisy Monkey though. Maybe that will happen down the line. Instead she is teaming with HIMAWARI.

Miyu Yamashita won’t be on the show because she is still on her European tour.

1. The Great Baka Mecha Wars Volume 2: Mecha MAO Vs Takagi Sanshirobo (w/ Mad Dr. Hige) Vs X
2. BK-G Openweight Title – Mascara Contra Mascara: Mr. Malo (c) Vs Mr. Bueno

It’s been a while since Mecha MAO and Takagi Sanshirobo fought their epic mecha battles in front of everyone. Now a third mecha is entering the fight. The X in the The Great Baka Mecha Wars has been greatly hinted to be something in the form of Minoru Suzuki. The possibility of it brings my memories back to Suzuki’s infamous match with Mecha Mummy at a MUSCLE show where a Gotch-Style Piledriver into a shallow lake caused a massive explosion that destroyed Mecha Mummy while leaving Suzuki with a significant piece of technology embedded in his eye. Imagine thinking we would ever get a follow up to that ending 16 years later?

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW X OCHA NORMA – OCHA PRO☆KORAKUEN”, 07/12/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Arisu Endo & Uta Takami Vs HIMAWARI & Haru Kazashiro
2. Ryo Mizunami, Raku & Pom Harajuku Vs Mahiro Kiryu, Shino Suzuki & Chika Nanase
3. Ochanor Mask & Kaya Toribami Vs Wakana Uehara & Ren Konatsu
4. OCHA Pro Seikigun Vs Coffee Breakers: Miyu Yamashita, Rika Tatsumi & Mifu Ashida Vs Hyper Misao, Yuki Kamifuku & Kira Summer
5. Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino & Toga Vs Mizuki, Suzume & Yuki Arai

The full card of the show’s wrestling portion has been decided. Miyu Yamashita, Rika Tatsumi & Mifu Ashida are joining forces as die hard fans of OCHA NORMA to defend the group’s honour against the Coffee Breakers of Hyper Misao, Yuki Kamifuku & Kira Summer.

The two masked women are being paired together as a tag team. Surely Kaya Toribami will find something in common with the newcomer Ochanor Mask.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE IN BANGKOK”, 13/12/2025
The Circus Studio, G Village, Bangkok, Thailand

1. IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles: Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami (c) Vs Raku & Pom Harajuku
2. MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Alexis Lee
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Matcha

Two more title matches are added to the Thailand show, one of which clears up a piece of reporting from Fightful’s paywall that ended up being unintentionally sloppy. Their Patreon page reported that MLW are expecting Shoko Nakajima to defend the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title in Asia again in the next coming months. The problem is they reported this just days after she had a title defence in Japan for Tokyo Joshi Pro and they clearly had no idea that had happened, so it came off as both a late slip as well as “No shit, Sherlock.” Now we see that the title defence being talked about is this match against Alexis Lee that is happening at TJPW’s Thailand show but again, Fightful’s never gave any detail like that so their reporting still comes off like nobody over there pays attention to the product (and continues my gripes over MLW news often being just glorified press releases). Considering part of their audience for a time thought Marigold closed down because they hadn’t heard anything about the company from the site since its first Sumo Hall event shows how bad their general Japan coverage is. Even their recent report that many of New Japan’s deals with their wrestlers no longer default to January every year is old news to the die hard fans.

The new IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Champions will hold their first defence of the titles in Thailand. Yamashita & Toribami’s opponents are two wrestlers who have held championships in SETUP before and even fought over it in TJPW. Do Raku & Pom Harajuku have it in them to win more gold in Southeast Asia?

There will also be a small scale SETUP show taking place the same afternoon before this show although I don’t know if anyone from TJPW will be on it.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’26”, 04/01/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Shoko Nakajima Vs Hyper Misao
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Suzume

January will see J-Rod come back to TJPW for a second tour. She will be at the 4th January show in Korakuen Hall as well as the 10th January show in Shinjuku FACE.

6. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) defeated HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki when Uehara pinned Suzuki with the Sushi Tornado (16:38).
*V2 for Ober Eats.
7. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) defeated J-Rod with the Spinning Tear Drop (12:55).
*V2 for Miu Watanabe.

It’s not often that Miu Watanabe is given a bigger and stronger opponent to fight in Tokyo Joshi Pro but they brought in J-Rod, “The Ultimate Athlete” from America to be that just for her. J-Rod slammed Watanabe around until she found herself getting spun around the ring in the Giant Swing. That cheered Watanabe up into doing a muscle pose but J-Rod Power Bombed that joy out of her. She also hit the Ultimate Spear near the ropes but the time it took to pull Watanabe into the middle of the ring, she was able to recover enough to kick out of the pin. Watanabe countered a second Ultimate Spear into a Power Slam and immediately gave J-Rod the Spinning Tear Drop to get the three count and defend her Princess Of Princess Title. J-Rod looked at the bright side to take the sting out of her defeat. She worked so hard to get a Korakuen Hall main event because she was originally trained in the NJPW Academy by King Haku and his family. She picked up her admiration for Japanese wrestling from them so is very happy to be where she is right now and cannot wait for her next visit.

After the match Watanabe shook off the effects of being slammed by J-Rod and spoke to the fans about wanting to defend the Princess Title many times on the road to next March’s Sumo Hall show. Suzume then entered the ring and congratulated Watanabe on her victory. She said TJPW is the place where you can become whoever you want, like becoming a princess for example. She now wants to shine like Watanabe and has come out to challenge her for the Princess Title! Watanabe was so happy to hear that she started to cry because she thinks she shares many similiarities with Suzume. That then made Suzume start to cry. The two agreed to the match and it will take place at the 4th January Korakuen show!

It was time for Shino Suzuki to stand up for herself against Ober Eats and she was able to get under Wakana Uehara’s skin early. Early in the match Suzuki went into tour guide mode and presented Uehara to the audience as the woman who is going to pass the Princess Tag Team Titles over to Bumping gRitters. Uehara lost her cool and yelled she isn’t giving up the belts before hitting back at Suzuki. Yuki Kamifuku also decided to put her opponents in their place, shouting at them not to underestimate her before she delivered a Double Famouser to the gRitters. Uehara then took over and pinned Suzuki with the Sushi Tornado for a successful title defence. Despite the growing tension brewing between the two teams going into the match, Kamifuku hugged both of her opponents afterwards. Uehara wanted to do the same but Suzuki pushed her away. Backstage Kamifuku spoke highly of HIMAWARI in particular for giving it her all. She said Uehara must have felt like she was on her fourth bowl of curry fighting her. Uehara agreed but added in that she could eat six more. HIMAWARI consoled Suzuki in the meantime and told her they’re not done yet. Suzuki thanked HIMAWARI for teaming with her and her tears are only for today’s frustration. She isn’t going to be broken up over this for long.

By winning the Next Generation Tournament last month Uta Takami made a beeline straight for the International Princess Title held by Arisu Endo. She focused mainly on ways to cradle Endo into pins or attach herself onto her with the Koala Clutch. Endo’s use of Super Kicks and Knee Drops were downgraded when Takami also tried grabbing onto her leg. But Endo found a Breakthrough using the Waterwheel Drop and applied the Camel Clutch to make Takami give up. She describes Takami as being extremely competitive even if her confidence is not always high. She also thinks Takami is good at obeserving how other wrestlers move so she can use that ability to become stronger. As for any future challengers, Endo is feeling invincible right now and can defend the International Princess Title against anybody. Takami said she has definitely grown after her first title match although she isn’t sure what chapter of her story she is at right now. She has a homecoming match coming up soon and even though she won’t go back to Kanazawa as a champion she will be heading over still feeling proud of herself.

More international stakes could be found down the card when Shoko Nakajima had her latest defence of the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title. This time her opponent was Viva Van who was making her return to TJPW for the first time since May (I haven’t paid any attention to if the VPW Women’s Title she won then is still active). The challenger had Nakajima scouted for the most part but when she went to go for the Hellevator, Nakajima escaped and stunned Van with a Hong Kong Spinning Elbow. She then used the Double Arm DDT followed by the Diving Senton to win. She praised Van for being an incredibly versatile wrestler who is capable of anything. She also has a few regrets over losing matches on her recent tour of Mexico so she wants to train more in order to get revenge next time. Van said this isn’t the end because she won’t be giving up. Japan is the start of a world tour she is taking on and she plans on rising to the top!

It is time for another team up between Hiroyo Matsumoto & Yuki Arai. The two of them taking on Hot Shot was also an opportunity for Matsumoto to match up against Yuna Manase while impressing the AKB48 idol Oda Erina over at the commentary table (they knew each other from Tofu Pro Wrestling). Toga was fired up to fight which then made Manase want to take Toga’s Elbow Strike to add extra damage to a Samoan Drop she was giving Matsumoto. Arai came in to give Manase the Scorpion Death Lock while Matsumoto put Toga in a Face Lock. Matsumoto then finished Toga off with the Rock Drop before going over to Erina with Arai to celebrate their victory. They’re now two wins for two as a tag team and already considering whether or not to make the Princess Tag Titles their goal. Toga feels she suffered an even cleaner loss to Matsumoto than she did back at “WRESTLE PRINCESS VI”. Manase told her it was important that they never lost their motivation during the match. Given how insular TJPW is, Toga should never take it for granted when she gets to wrestle people from the outside because it is valuable experience that should not go to waste. Hot Shot will debrief over this and do their best to become champions some day.

A rare 4 Way Tag Match was put together promising a lot of chaos in the ring. Raku & Pom Harajuku formed a giant heart with their arms and used it to trap Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami ring around the rosie style. They then led a large Oyasumi Express where all of the other teams stepped over Yamashita & Toribami. Yuki Aino showed off her power by Side Suplexing both Mizuki & Suzume at the same time. She also briefly joined forces with Raku until Raku turned on her. Everything went mad with one wrestler after another fighting each other ending with Mizuki taking out Yamashita with a Spinning Diving Cross Body. With the ring emptied out, Suzume was able to pin Haru Kazashiro with the Ring A Bell. Harajuku called the match a scary dream so she and Raku should wake up and return to the real world for a bit. Aino thought her team were going to win until the very end but they’ve gained experience so next time they should try doing a 5 Way Tag! Yamashita told Toribami that you need to use your head to win multi-team Tag Matches but neither of them can do that. They have a 3 Way Tag coming up at next week’s SETUP tour of Japan and there will be a championship on the line so they cannot afford to lose. They’ll also be touring Thailand soon so they’re going to dominate over there too. Both Mizuki & Suzume had fun teaming with each other because they were able to move so freely together. Suzume said Mizuki always pushes her forward so that match gave her a lot of courage.

The opening 8-Woman Tag Match was missing a participant because Kira Summer caught a fever and had to miss the show on short notice. Rika Tatsumi, Chika Nanase & Ren Konatsu were told that they would be getting a replacement partner but the team showed up to the match without one. Hyper Misao thought that Tetsuya Koda wasn’t able to find anybody so her own team now had the numbers advantage. But when Misao’s team all put Tatsumi’s team in submission holds while Mifu Ashida was cheerleading around them, Tatsumi called out for “X” to help her. Suddenly the super substitute Ryo Mizunami appeared! She performed her full entrance though so the match continued while she was playing up to the fans. Then when she was finally ready, she couldn’t tell Kakeru Sekiguchi and Mahiro Kiryu apart. Tatsumi overcame an accidental strangulation of Mizunami to pin Ashida with the Twist Of Fate. Mizunami pushed her down after the match and Kiryu ran back into the ring to try and win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title from Tatsumi but failed when Tatsumi kicked out and ran off.

Then later backstage Tatsumi found who she thought was Kiryu by the stairs. She went over and choked her unconscious only to discover it was actually Sekiguchi she strangled! Kiryu then appeared behind Tatsumi, knocked her out with the Iron Man Title and then pinned her to become the champion again!

DDT “BE AMBITIOUS ~AUTUMN BATTLE~”, 30/11/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. DDT Extreme Title – Weapon Gamble Match: To-y (c) Vs Sanshiro Takagi
2. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & KANON (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Daisuke Sasaki & Hideki Okatani
3. Special Single Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Shinya Aoki
4. KO-D Openweight Title & DDT Universal Title: Yuki Ueno (c/c) Vs Super Sasadango Machine

The double title match is something that Yuki Ueno really wants to put across as a big deal so he asked DDT to put their best effort into the pre-match hype video to tell the story right to the audience. He also doesn’t want the match itself to risk being undercut by the video so he is forcing Super Sasadango Machine to skip the pre-match PowerPoint Presentation! Sasadango reluctantly agreed because he has a secret weapon that can win him both the KO-D Openweight Title and DDT Universal Title. He has the dreaded Reverse Shrimp Hold that he purposely kept hidden in his moveset for his entire career and now is the time for him to use it!

We have another Konosuke Takeshita match in DDT to look forward to this month and it is a doozy. Both he and Shinya Aoki want to have a rematch from their January 2022 bout so let them have at it! They did wrestle each other far more recently, during Wrestlemania Weekend in Las Vegas this past April. But one on one it’s been quite a while.

Both members of Strange Love Connection falling sick and missing some matches has ended up making a few wrestlers from DAMNATION T.A mad. Daisuke Sasaki wants them to give up the KO-D Tag Team Titles if they’re going to be weak like this, unlike him who injured his ribs the last time he was in a KO-D Tag Titles match and was able to come back from it. Hideki Okatani made the challenge even more serious by attack KIMIHIRO with his bamboo stick when the MC was performing by himself without MAO or KANON there to protect him.

A new twist on an old favorite awaits for the DDT Extreme Title match. Sanshiro Takagi loves the Weapon Rumble while To-y loves gambling. So you put them together to get the Weapon Gamble! The match is won under normal means but every now and then a new weapon will be brought down to the ring. For every weapon that shows up, To-y and Takagi will play a gambling game where the winner gets to use the weapon. It will be against the rules for a wrestler to use a weapon they didn’t win.

All Rise Press Conference, Ohka Challenges For Union MAX Title

November 5, 2025

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “ALL RISE ’25”, 09/11/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. 4 Way Tag Match: Mizuki & Suzume Vs Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami Vs Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro Vs Raku & Pom Harajuku
2. Rika Tatsumi, Kira Summer, Chika Nanase & Ren Konatsu Vs Hyper Misao, Kakeru Sekiguchi, Mahiro Kiryu & Mifu Ashida
3. Hiroyo Matsumoto & Yuki Arai Vs Yuna Manase & Toga
4. MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Viva Van
5. International Princess Title: Arisu Endo (c) Vs Uta Takami
6. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki
7. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs J-Rod

A press conference was held yesterday to promote the three championship matches taking place next week. It was a chance for Miu Watanabe and J-Rod to get to know each other better before they fight over the Princess Of Princess Title. J-Rod spoke about how impressed she is by Watanabe’s strength despite looking so small next to herself. But pro wrestling is not a fairy tale and J-Rod has been preparing for the match like a beast. Watanabe admitted she always feels nervous when she has to fight foreign wrestlers but she wants to become stronger so she can defend the title at next year’s Ittenyon show and then after that, Sumo Hall in March. She is also confident she can Giant Swing J-Rod because she was able to do it on the cardboard dummy she made last week. J-Rod thought she was just being cute at the time but if Watanabe thinks she really can do it then J-Rod dares her to try. Also while J-Rod has been taking her diet seriously to prepare for the match, Watanabe has been eating chocolate for breakfast to increase her own cuteness points.

The Princess Tag Team Titles match puts a focus on three wrestlers from the 2023 Class all trying to catch up to each other. Shino Suzuki was happy to see Wakana Uehara win the title but also felt frustrated seeing her classmate move ahead. She felt the same way when Toga recently got a title shot too because at that point Suzuki was feeling left out with nothing to show for. But HIMAWARI has been by her side as a tag partner and the day came when Bumping gRitters came to life and challenged Ober Eats for the titles. HIMAWARI challenged for the belts once before and even teamed with Uehara for that match, so it gets to her seeing Uehara move on and win the belt without her. Uehara considers her opponents to be important friends because they all started together but she doesn’t want to stay at their level or lose the titles to them. She’s going to swallow Bumping gRitters whole! Yuki Kamkifuku finds the whole talk about classmates a bit boring, like when people think it is fate if they find out they have the same birthday. She has no intention of losing to a tourist guide or a long haired woman. Suzuki doesn’t like the way Kamifuku calls her weak so she wants to make her bow in apology.

Uta Takami got Arisu Endo to talk about ice cream while building up the International Princess Title bout. Takami is feeling lucky because every day she’s been buying a popsicle and today there was only one left and it was a chocolate coffee flavored Papico which made her really happy. Endo likes eating cookies & cream Häagen-Dazs which doesn’t suprise Takami because it is a high end and expensive ice cream. Endo thought she would be able to beat Takami 100 times out of 100 but after their recent matches she’s starting to think there is a one in a thousand chance she could lose. She notices how despite Takami’s lack of experience, she belives in herself and even walked into this press conference with her head held high. Takami then said she will continue her run of good luck later today when she goes to get the last chocolate coffee Papico again.

BASARA “BASARA 292 ~UTAGE~”, 18/11/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. 3 Way Tag Match: Daichi Kazato & Yasu Urano Vs Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino Vs Takeru Inoue & Tomoki Hatano

3. Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA Vs Munetatsu Nakamura & Shota Kawakami
4. Takumi Tsukamoto Vs Daiki Shimomura
5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) Vs Ken Ohka

One of the last glimmers of light from Union Pro is hoping to take the title he never got to fight for. Ken Ohka believes he should deserve to be the Union MAX Champion just because they both originally came from the same promotion. It’s up to Ryota Nakatsu to show Ohka that the championship belongs to BASARA and will stay there.

6. Shoko Nakajima, Miyu Yamashita & Toga defeated Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro when Nakajima pinned Kazashiro with the Northern Lights Suplex (11:31).
7. Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Arisu Endo defeated HIMAWARI, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami when Kamifuku pinned Suzuki with the Famouser (14:36).

In a meeting of champions against challengers, Ober Eats along with Arisu Endo showed it will take some beating for them to lose their titles. Bumping gRittersUta Takami all found themselves needing to go back to the drawing board after today. Yuki Kamifuku rubbed it in after winning by telling HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki they showed no signs that they will win the Princess Tag Team Titles next weekend. She would rather wait until they level up to do the match. Wakana Uehara said she really doesn’t want to lose to her classmates and wants to show that having this title means she is a step ahead of them. Endo was polite towards Takami and told her she is looking forward to their International Princess Title match. Kamifuku then stepped in and told Takami to stop being a crying brat. It wasn’t until the other team left ringside that Kamifuku admitted she was actually feeling really sore from fighting them and was using her best poker face to act otherwise. Backstage Bumping gRitters were at a loss for words over how unprepared they are to face Ober Eats. Takami though is happy to see Endo is paying attention to her.

“The Ultimate Athlete” J-Rod made her Tokyo Joshi Pro debut by defeating Kira Summer in quick fashion. She returned to ringside later in the show to watch Miu Watanabe’s match up close. That match was also Shoko Nakajima’s first appearance back from her tour of Mexico. She picked up the win for her team while Watanabe locked eyes with J-Rod while she was walking back to the locker room. After finally getting to see her in person, Watanabe said J-Rod has the strength needed to get a title shot straight away. She’s not going to let J-Rod’s intimidation tactics get to her. J-Rod bragged to the backstage reporters about being “The Ultimate Athlete”, said Watanabe will be her next victim and she will become the first American Princess Of Princess Champion!

Pom Harajuku came up with a plan to beat Rika Tatsumi for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. She knows that Tatsumi does not want to fight and risk losing the belt before next month’s OCHA NORMA show, so Harajuku agreed to leave the ring and go home. Tatsumi then left the ring, unaware that Harajuku quietly walked back out and encouraged Daisuke Kiso to count Tatsumi out! The plan almost worked but Tatsumi heard Rise Shirai’s count announcement over the microphone and returned to the ring just in time to keep the match going. The two fought out of the ring again and Harajuku tried to take Tetsuya Koda hostage. Tatsumi said she doesn’t care what happens to him and started to strangle Harajuku. Koda pulled her away and put her in a Sleeper Hold to try and win the Iron Man Title but Tatsumi broke out of it and started to strangle him too. Tatsumi was able to make Harajuku give up to the Dragon Sleeper back inside the ring so she is pleased to get her win back from “WRESTLE PRINCESS VI”. She isn’t going to forgive Koda anytime soon though.

Raku & Ren Konatsu came up with a plan for their match too. While Hyper Misao was doing her usual ring introductions, the two of them snuck out of the ring and hid themselves from view, leaving behind two of Konatsu’s little sheep plushies laying on Raku’s pillow. Both Misao & Kaya Toribami were tricked into thinking their opponents had fallen asleep and somehow turned into toys! They tried to pin the toys anyway but Raku & Konatsu then rolled them up from behind for a double nearfall.

Shoko Nakajima returns from her tour of Mexico.

The era of Mahironman has come to a close. Now it is Rika Tatsumi who holds the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and her goal is to gift the championship to Natsume Nakayama, her favorite member of OCHA NORMA. She doesn’t want to fight anyone or go through any risk of losing the belt until then but she has to fight Pom Harajuku later this week, regardless of if she is the champion or not.

2. MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Viva Van
3. International Princess Title: Arisu Endo (c) Vs Uta Takami
4. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki
5. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs J-Rod

With the dust settled from the Next Generation Tournament, the winner Uta Takami has come out of it challenging Arisu Endo for the International Princess Title. Takami explained that the small wrestlers like Endo have become the most influential for her when it comes to the kind of wrestler she wants to become. On the other side, Endo is excited to fight the current version of Takami.

The team of HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki had to repeat their new team name because everywhere got it slightly wrong yesterday. Their name is Bumping gRitters but they didn’t say it clear enough over the microphone so everyone, including the official social media pages thought it was Bumping gRittes without the ‘r’ at the end.

7. Miu Watanabe & Yuki Aino Vs Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida

Due to the Double Elimination format, Uta Takami only needs to beat Chika Nanase once to win the Next Generation Tournament because Nanase has already lost once in the competition. Since Takami has been unbeaten for the whole tournament, Nanase will need to beat her twice in order to become the tournament winner. If Nanase does beat Takami here they will immediately start the grand final rematch to crown the winner.

Shoko Nakajima won’t be at the show because she will be wrestling in Mexico around the same time period.

An American challenger now awaits Miu Watanabe. All she knows about J-Rod is she looks muscular in her pictures so Watanabe is expecting a power versus power battle over the belt.

Ober Eats next have HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki as the next challengers standing in their way. Yuki Kamifuku isn’t worried because she thinks her team with Wakana Uehara are leagues ahead of their opponents. So much so that she is naming other team Plain Long Hair.

Right as I am typing up this post, Tokyo Joshi Pro tweeted that Nakajima will defend the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title on this show. Her opponent will be revealed tomorrow.

GanPro has a secret weapon up their sleeve for the semi-main event. Yumehito Imanari & Yuna Manase will be accompanied by Nobita as their ringside attendant. Nobita is the nickname of Takahiro Nakayama, a GanPro staff member who was a pro wrestler for a very brief amount of time back in 2014. The FREEDOMS wrestlers had been bullying him around whenever they showed up at GanPro shows, unaware of his background. If Takashi Sasaki & Toru Sugiura are not careful he might decide to start fighting back!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “ALL RISE ’25”, 09/11/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs J-Rod

The next wrestler from America has been chosen to go on tour with Tokyo Joshi Pro this November. J-Rod has around three years of experience since graduating from the NJPW Academy in America with Ohio Valley Wrestling being her current most regular promotion. The “Ultimate Athlete” will debut in TJPW on the 1st November show but the big match of her tour will be fighting either Miu Watanabe or Yuki Aino for the Princess Of Princess Title at November’s Korakuen show.

I don’t mind this trend of tag teams getting themselves in line for a future Princess Tag Team Titles shot while the champions still have other challengers to get through. HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki have teamed on and off together this year but both are feeling left behind by other wrestlers from their class. The two are taking their team to the next level by challenging the winners of Ober Eats Vs Hot Shot for the titles.

SUPER JAPAN “NEVER MIND”, 29/12/2025
Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Tag Match: MIKAMI & Takashi Sasaki Vs X & X
2. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai & Ippanjin Munenori Sawa Vs Yuji Nagata, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe

The last Super Japan show of the year is being advertised as the season finale of year one. Sanshiro Takagi is so happy with how Yuji Nagata has turned out as his chosen ace that he wants to wrestle Nagata himself. He also wants to team with Munenori Sawa again and expected Nagata to get more plenty of people offering to team with him so Jun Kasai was brought in to even up the numbers. Nagata has both Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe wanting to join his side so the two teams are now set.

Super Japan serves as an alternate take of what DDT could have turned into if Takagi chose that name instead of Dramatic Dream Team back in 1997. In DDT, MIKAMI & Takashi Sasaki were more like rivals than partners despite once holding the KO-D Tag Titles together back in 2002. So Takagi wants to see what it would be like if the two of them were a tag team from the beginning instead of opponents. MIKAMI & Sasaki are both curious to find out for themselves as well.

DDT Around The World – August 2024

September 1, 2024

The end of the summer turned out to not go as planned for a few people. Maki Itoh suffered a hand injury that cut short her latest GCW tour. Yuna Manase had some travel problems get in the way of her first time visit to America but at least her story ended happily for her. She ended up winning a championship over there! Things went smoother for Tokyo Joshi Pro as their co-promoted show with EVE in England was a big success. The EVE promoters have their own stories to tell about searching for venues, dealing with the ticket operators and having last minute changes with their production team but once the show began it could not have gone any better in the venue s far as I could tell. Miyu Yamashita also had time to wrestle in a few other places before she heads back to Japan.

The end of the month also had Konosuke Takeshita return to AEW. After his performance in the G1 Climax reminded everyone of his talents (not that we should need any reminding), there is understandably a lack of enthusiasm online to see him go back to AEW where his main role is to stand behind Don Callis’ shoulder week after week. That his first match back happened on Rampage doesn’t do much to quell those worries. With that said though it was a cracking match anyway. If the second Continental Classic happens this year we’re probably still over a month or to away from it.

Heading into September we’re going to see Itoh go back to America. It does not sound like she’s at 100% but she isn’t going to say no to making some more money over there if she’s in any way able to. Some TJPW wrestlers will be spreading their wings around Asia with championships there for the taking. There is a new company opening up in Canada that Takeshita and Yamashita will appear in. Wrestling fans in general might do well to pay attention to that place in regards to whether or not it will effect TNA in the long run given who has been associated with it so far. But if you don’t care about that and want to keep talk to just DDT and TJPW, there is the road to Seattle coming up. We’ll be there before you know it!

1. GCW Extreme Title: Maki Itoh (c) defeated John Wayne Murdoch with a School Boy (5:51).
*V2 for Maki Itoh.

Itoh’s first GCW appearance of her tour was against one of the promotion’s death match specialists John Wayne Murdoch. It was also made into a GCW Extreme Title defence. Murdoch got under Itoh’s skin early when he grabbed a “Respect Maki Itoh Or Die” sign and stomped on it in the ring. He then tried to win her over by allowing Itoh to sing for the fans but that was only so he could attack her from behind. Murdhoch brought in a steel chair and tried to Suplex Itoh onto it. Itoh avoided the move and gave Murdoch a Stunner, making him land back and head first into the chair. She then rolled him up with a School Boy to win the match and retain the Extreme Title.

GCW “CAN I TRUST YOU?”, 04/08/2024
House Of Independents, Asbury Park, New Jersey, USA

1. GCW Extreme Title: Maki Itoh (c) defeated Allie Katch with a Mouse Trap (8:32).
*V3 for Maki Itoh.

Later in the weekend Itoh had another Extreme Title defence, this time against Allie Katch. The two get along and have teamed together in the past so their match was all trying to outdo each other. Itoh tried to trick Katch with crocodile tears so Katch decided to lie down and let Itoh do a Kokeshi Headbutt. Except Katch got back up and cut her off to take control of the match. Itoh fired up when her head hit the turnbuckle and she hit a Draping DDT onto the ring apron. The fight came down to duelling strikes and then Itoh trying several different pinning combinations. She finally got the three count on Katch by giving her the Mouse Trap cradle.

It was a long journey for Manase to get to America (more details at the end of the report) but she finally got there and ended up winning a championship! Due to circumstances with her visa, Sayaka Unagi couldn’t make the show and had to vacate the Kitsune World Title. It was now up for grabs in the 3 Way Match that Manase was booked in against J-Rod and Megan Bayne. At one point Manase and Bayne worked together and gave J-Rod the Doomsday Device. Bayne was then taken out of play by J-Rod’s Spear. J-Rod went for the same move on Manase but missed and hit the corner. Manase knocked her down with the Lariat and got the three count to win the title! She celebrated by getting the fans to shout “We are Ganbare!” along with her.

State Farm Arena, Champaign, Illinois, USA

1. 4 Way Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated The Beast Mortos, Komander (w/ Alex Abrahantes) and Lio Rush when Takeshita pinned Komander with the Raging Fire (13:53).

Takeshita’s first appearance in AEW since returning from the G1 was for a wild 4 Way Match against The Beast Mortos, Komander and Lio Rush. He was back to using his actual AEW theme and Callis kept himself to the commentary table. The match was wild as you had the power and speed of Takeshita and Mortos along with the speed and agility of Komander and Rush all mixing up together. Mortos soon wiped out Rush with a Spear and broke Komander over his knee. Takeshita then hit Mortos with the Powerdrive Knee to get rid of him. Komander tried to roll up Takeshita but got a nearfall. Takeshita spun him into the Blue Thunder Bomb and used the Raging Fire to get the win.

1. Megan Bayne defeated Miyu Yamashita by Disqualification when Broski Jimmy attacked Bayne with a Chair (15:38).

The rematch between Yamashita and Bayne from DREAMWAVE earlier this year took place in GCW but was ruined by outside interference. Bayne gave Yamashita a Choke Slam and was about to use the Tombstone Piledriver when Broski Jimmy ran into the ring with a chair and hit Bayne with it. Yamashita stopped the attack and gave Jimmy the Skull Kick. Bayne got her hands on him too with a Choke Slam and Yamashita followed up by hitting Jimmy over the head with the chair! Bayne then finished him off with the Tombstone. After that was done the two women had a stare down before deciding to shake each other’s hands.

The twelve wrestlers from TJPW making the trip are Miu Watanabe, Suzume, Arisu Endo, Yuki Kamifuku, Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, Rika Tatsumi, Mizuki, Maki Itoh, Yuki Aino, Moka Miyamoto and Wakana Uehara. There will be around 6-8 local or American wrestlers also on the card for a total of 6 or 7 matches.

Takeshita is the first DDT wrestler announced to be on the show.

Both Takeshita and the dozen TJPW wrestlers will also be at the weekend finale.

Cancelled Appearances

KITSUNE “LOVE MY SHOW!”, 17/08/2024
Brick X Brick, Los Angeles, California, USA

1. Aspyn Rose & Yuna Manase Vs Aria Perkins & Delmi Exo

As mentioned above Manase had a hell of an ordeal to go through just to make it to America. Travel from Japan was heavily effected by an incoming typhoon that week and her flight was delayed by many hours. So her first match for Kitsune the day before her title match had to be changed into something without her. Then when she finally made it to America it still took a few more hours to get through immigration customs.

GCW “NO SIGNAL IN THE HILLS PT. 4”, 17/08/2024
Ukrainian Culture Center, Los Angeles, California, USA

1. Nick Gage & Maki Itoh Vs Mance Warner & Broski Jimmy

Itoh’s injury cancelled not one but two matches against Mance Warner this month. She would have faced him for the GCW World Title in Japan and then a tag match in America a few days later.

GCW “SAVE ME”, 18/08/2024
Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

No appearance at Salt Lake City for Itoh either.

GCW “HOMECOMING – NIGHT 1”, 24/08/2024
The Showboat, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs Kerry Morton

I think Kerry Morton lost his booking because he didn’t wrestle on the show from what I could find.

GCW “HOMECOMING – NIGHT 2”, 25/08/2024
The Showboat, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

Itoh probably missed out on a few extra Extreme Title defences because of her injury. She is still the champion as far as I’m aware.

GCW “LIVE FAST DIE YOUNG”, 31/08/2024
Thalia Hall, Chicago, Illinois, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs Kylie Rae

Kylie Rae ended up facing Brooke Havok instead.

INSPIRE A.D. “MAY THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN”, 01/09/2024
Empire Control Room, Austin, Texas, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs Devin Carter

Itoh’s getting replaced by Effy on this show.

DDT Around The World – July 2024

August 1, 2024

Summer is here and everyone has either gone travelling or are getting their all their plans in order. Funny thing is the people usually being covered for their overseas matches spent most of July wrestling back in Japan. Konosuke Takeshita had a few AEW matches over and done with before he got ready for the G1 Climax. Then Maki Itoh was wrestling in Tokyo Joshi Pro finishing off her latest dates with them before she goes on another GCW tour. So most of the results below are filled up by Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima and CDK related matches.

It’s the rest of the summer that’s going to get busy. A lot of Itoh matches in GCW with Yamashita popping up here and there along the way. Also some TJPW appearances in Southeast Asia and the USA debut of Yuna Manase are all coming up soon. Then there is the matter of DDT and TJPW holding shows abroad with local promotions in places like London and Seattle. Grab some water and stay hydrated because it’s going to be a busy summer of wrestling everywhere.

Results

AEW “RAMPAGE”, 03/07/2024 (Aired 05/07/2024)
Wintrust Arena, Chicago, Illinois, USA

1. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher defeated Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen when Fletcher pinned Quen with the Kneeling Piledriver (10:10).

Takeshita had bigger stuff to prepare for this month but still got some ring time in AEW before heading back to Japan. He and Kyle Fletcher fought against Private Party, surviving a close call against them. Isiah Kassidy joked around to promote Shark Week and then landed the Swanton Bomb on Fletcher. Marq Quen’s 450 Splash afterwards though was blocked by Fletcher’s knees and Takeshita came in to German Suplex him away. Private Party fought back with a Top Rope Frankensteiner into the Cutter to Takeshita followed by the Silly String to Fletcher. Takeshita kicked out of Quen’s 450 Splash, took out both members with Lariats and then gave Kassidy the Blue Thunder Bomb. Fletcher then got to finish off Kassidy with the Kneeling Piledriver.

DPW “DPW LIVE 7”, 06/07/2024
NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

1. Battle Of The Best – Round 1: Shoko Nakajima defeated Masha Slamovich with the Diving Senton (16:16).

Shoko Nakajima touched down on DPW and left North Carolina with a big victory against Masha Slamovich despite taking some heavy hits from her. Slamovich used a Sit Down Power Bomb and also countered the Unmanned Local Train Hold into a Running Air Raid Crash that landed right into a bottom turnbuckle. But Nakajima used the top ropes against Slamovich in order to use a Power Bomb of her own. Slamovich tried using the Power Bomb again but Nakajima slipped down and pulled her into the Double Arm DDT. After that it took a Diving Senton to finish her off and make Nakajima advance to the next round of Battle Of The Best.

AEW “COLLISION”, 10/07/2024 (Aired 13/07/2024)
Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

1. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Tommy Billington with the Powerdrive Knee (13:29).

Takeshita’s last AEW appearance for the month was a noteworthy one because his opponent was Tommy Billington, the nephew of the late Dynamite Kid! The new generation Dynamite Kid gave Takeshita a good challenge but fell to the Powerdrive Knee. Don Callis then attempted to recruit Billington to The Don Callis Family by bringing up his family’s heritage. But that was just a trap for Takeshita and the rest of The Family to attack Billington from behind until FTR ran down to save him.

NORTH WRESTLING “THUNDER STRUCK 2”, 13/07/2024
Walker Dome, Newcastle, England

1. Lizzy Evo defeated Miyu Yamashita with an Inside Cradle (13:45).

This was a case of defeat being snatched from the jaws of victory here. Yamashita seemed to have a lot of the match under control until Lizzy Evo saw an opening to hit her with a Knee Strike to the face and then roll her into a Small Package for the three count out of nowhere. For Evo the result is payback for Yamashita beating her in EVE last year.

IWA JAPAN “HARDCORE FOREVER”, 27/07/2024
The Circus Studio, G Village, Bangkok, Thailand

1. IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles – 3 Way Hardcore Match: Mister Suchart & Anont Alonzo defeated Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi (c) and Ultramantis Black & Dr. Gore Black (w/ Kappa Kozo & Kappa Jr.) when Alonzo pinned Gore after a Choke Slam/Power Bomb Combo through the Table (?:??).
*CDK fails in V2. THE GOOD DEAL becomes the 2nd IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Champions!
2. IWA Japan SETUP World Title: Ultramantis Black (c) (w/ Dr. Gore Black, Kappa Kozo & Kappa Jr.) defeated Chris Brookes (w/ Masahiro Takanashi) with a School Boy (?:??).
*V1 for Ultramantis Black.

Whenever CDK goes over to Thailand for SETUP Pro Wrestling that’s enough trouble to handle by itself. This however was not just a SETUP show. It was an event using the IWA Japan banner to celebrate 30 years of the promotion’s existance. CDK came over to defend the IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles in a Hardcore 3 Way Match. They had to fight the previous champions THE GOOD DEAL as well as the UMA Corps pairing of Ultramantis Black and Dr. Gore Black. Things went crazy as everybody fought outside the ring. Mister Suchart even got on a motor scooter and crashed it into everyone at ringside! A stapler gun was brought into the ring for Brookes and Ultramantis to staple each other with. Ultramantis then took advantage of miscommunication between CDK to put Brookes through a mini ironing board with a Back Drop. Masahiro Takanashi was also taken out by Dr. Gore attacking him with a toilet seat. From that point on CDK were too hurt to do anything and THE GOOD DEAL put Gore through a table. Anont Alonzo pinned him afterwards to win the belts.

It did not end there though. Earlier in the show the brand new IWA Japan SETUP World Title was introduced to the world. However Ultramantis and the UMA Corps launched an attack to steal the belt. Brookes was so mad to lose the tag titles in the main event without being pinned that he challenged Ultramantis for a World Title match straight away! Ultramantis refused but then attacked Brookes with the belt, causing the impromptu match to begin. Brookes fought back from the disadvantage and Takanashi was still there to cut off interference from the UMA Corps. But Dr. Gore threw a chair into Brookes’ face at ringside allowing Ultramantis to roll him up and escape with his first successful title defence. The UMA Corps continued to attack CDK until THE GOOD DEAL returned to save the day.

GCW “JOSH BARNETT’S BLOODSPORT XI”, 28/07/2024
Roulette Intermedium, New York City, New York, USA

1. Shayna Baszler defeated Miyu Yamashita by TKO (8:37).

If there is any big story to talk about in this month’s article it is this one. Yamashita taking part in GCW’s Bloodsport event is notable in itself. She gave shoot boxing a go pretty early into her pro wrestling career and has the kind of martial arts cred that would get you booked for a show like this. The big news though was who they chose to be her opponent. In the main event she took on Shayna Baszler from WWE! It’s the latest move from WWE to open themselves up and show they are willing to work with other wrestling companies. It’s been noted online that the Bloodsport show featured talent from WWE/NXT, TNA, AEW/ROH, NJPW’s American arm, MLW and TJPW. Baszler ended up beating Yamashita by catching her Skull Kick, turning it into a Tombstone and then beginning to ground and pound her until the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Upcoming Appearances

GCW “NOW AND FOREVER”, 02/08/2024
TempleLive Cleveland Masonic, Cleveland, Ohio, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs John Wayne Murdoch

August is going to be a GCW month for Maki Itoh both in America and Japan. Her next tour begins with an unexpected opponent. She’s taking on one of their most violent wrestlers John Wayne Murdoch. He won the Tournament Of Survival back in June but his win-loss record in the company since then hasn’t been great.

GCW “CAN I TRUST YOU?”, 04/08/2024
House Of Independents, Asbury Park, New Jersey, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

Itoh does not have a match announced for the show yet. This date was on her list of advertised bookings last month. The full card seems to have been shown since then and Blake Christian just so happens to have a “Pick Your Poison” style mystery opponent to be announced that day… I don’t see where else she will fit if she is still going to be there.

GCW “THE SKY IS THE LIMIT”, 13/08/2024
Shinjuku FACE, Tokyo, Japan

1. Broski Jimmy Vs Miyu Yamashita
2. The Great Sasuke Vs Maki Itoh

Itoh is also representing GCW for their Japan tour that is going on with some help from DDT. In a matchup that only sounds more mind bending the more I think of it, Itoh is going to fight The Great Sasuke! Yamashita will be on one of the shows too facing Broski Jimmy. That’s another match that I would never expect but more for head scratchy reasons.

GCW “YOU ONLY DIE ONCE”, 14/08/2024
Shinjuku FACE, Tokyo, Japan

1. Allie Katch & Dark Sheik Vs Kaya Toribami & Shoko Nakajima
2. GCW World Title: Mance Warner (c) Vs Maki Itoh

I made a prediction for this year that Itoh is going to win the GCW World Title. If it ever comes true then this will be the show to do it! It won’t though because GCW are all in on Mance Warner as their top champion while Itoh already holds the GCW Extreme Title but just imagine if they did.

Also added is a GCW Vs TJPW tag match. The visitors (or are they the home team because it’s GCW?) Allie Katch & Dark Sheik take on Kaya Toribami & Shoko Nakajima. I’ll probably make a separate post for the GCW Japan results since those matches are happening in Japan and DDT is involved with promoting the whole tour.

SPW “HARDCORE ISLAND 2: A FINE CITY”, 16/08/2024
Foo Chow Building, Singapore

1. 3 Way Match: Alexis Lee Vs Miyu Yamashita Vs Kaya Toribami

Now that Alexis Lee got to wrestle in Japan and fully integrate herself into TJPW it’s time to send more people back over to Singapore Pro Wrestling. This time Lee will be in a 3 Way Match against two TJPW wrestlers. Yamashita and Toribami are on board to go face her in her home country.

KITSUNE “LOVE MY SHOW!”, 17/08/2024
Brick X Brick, Los Angeles, California, USA

1. Yuna Manase Vs X

I was wondering how long it was going to take until I get to write about more of the American “Joshi” promotions that are currently around. Kitsune emerged around the same time period as SPARK Joshi and Sukeban. This one though has actually been able to run a show in Japan thanks to a lot of help from Marvelous. Their next shows in California is where Yuna Manase will be making her American wrestling debut.

GCW “NO SIGNAL IN THE HILLS PT. 4”, 17/08/2024
Ukrainian Culture Center, Los Angeles, California, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

Itoh will be following GCW back to America after the Japan tour ends.

GCW “SAVE ME”, 18/08/2024
Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

More Itoh in GCW here.

KITSUNE “YABAI!”, 18/08/2024
1110 Bates Ave, Los Angeles, California, USA

1. Kitsune World Title: Yuna Manase Vs Megan Bayne Vs J-Rod

The original plan was for Manase to be in a 3 Way Match with Sayaka Unagi and J-Rod for the Kitsune World Title. However Unagi is unable to get her visa approved in time and won’t be able to travel to America anytime soon. Since she was the champion, Kitsune made the decision to vacate the belt. It will now go to the winner of a new 3 Way Match between Manase, J-Rod and Megan Bayne.

EVE/TOKYO JOSHI PRO “EVE X TJPW: JAPAN & UK WRESTLING UNITE!”, 24/08/2024
Conway Hall, London, England

Finally we got a venue for the show. Yamashita, Raku, Mahiro Kiryu and HIMAWARI along with Aja Kong are the Japanese talent coming over to TJPW’s joint show with EVE. The EVE wrestlers being promoted for the show so far include Alex Windsor, Nina Samuels, Lena Cross and Session Moth Martina.

GCW “HOMECOMING – NIGHT 1”, 24/08/2024
The Showboat, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs Kerry Morton

The match is in GCW but Itoh gets a little taste of NWA with Kerry Morton as her opponent here. Kerry is the son of Ricky Morton and has been spending a lot of time in NWA as part of The Southern Six. He was even on the winning team at The Crockett Cup a few months ago.

GCW “HOMECOMING – NIGHT 2”, 25/08/2024
The Showboat, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

None of her GCW matches next month have been announced as Extreme Title defences yet.

MLW “SUMMER OF THE BEASTS”, 29/08/2024
Melrose Ballroom, New York City, New York, USA

1. Delmi Exo Vs Miyu Yamashita

MLW wrote a really long passage about this match on their Twitter page but we don’t need to go through all that. Yamashita beat Delmi Exo last December, next month is time for the rematch. The difference here is Exo now has the support of MLW’s main authority figure Cesar Duran by her side.

GCW “LIVE FAST DIE YOUNG”, 31/08/2024
Thalia Hall, Chicago, Illinois, USA

1. Miyu Yamashita Vs Megan Bayne
2. Maki Itoh Vs Kylie Rae

Prepare for cute smiles everywhere when Itoh is in the ring with Kylie Rae. Things might get ugly though if Itoh ends up feeling threatened by Rae’s cheerfulness. Yamashita getting another match with Megan Bayne is something she might not want to smile about either. They wrestled each other at a DREAMWAVE show back in April. Bayne won clean and Yamashita was in a pretty bad mood about it afterwards, rejecting her post-match handshake.

INSPIRE A.D. “MAY THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN”, 01/09/2024
Empire Control Room, Austin, Texas, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs Devin Carter

One of the non-GCW bookings Itoh is taking after the summer is over at Inspire A.D. in Texas. “The Fashionista” Devin Carter is her opponent. They have only been wrestling for a couple of years, mostly around the Texas scene.

MKW “CHAMPIONSHIP SUPERCARD FROM SHANGHAI”, 14/09/2024
Bandai Namco Shanghai Base, Shanghai, China

1. Queen Of Asia Title: Yuki Kamifuku (c) Vs Crystal

Still another while until Yuki Kamifuku defends the Queen Of Asia Title against Crystal. Kamifuku has been stepping her game up over the last twelve months and it’s really been paying off for her lately.

GCW “BAD ONE”, 14/09/2024
Harpos Concert Center, Detroit, Michigan, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

This will be the last weekend of Itoh’s current tour.

GCW “THA G-CODE”, 15/09/2024
Water Street Music Hall, Rochester, New York, USA

1. Maki Itoh Vs X

And Itoh’s last American booking as of now is here.

SETUP “CHAOPHRAYA VOYAGE: 12TH ANNIVERSARY OF THAI WRESTLING”, 28/09/2024
The Circus Studio, G Village, Bangkok, Thailand

1. SETUP All Asia Women’s Title – 3 Way Match: Matcha (c) Vs Raku Vs Pom Harajuku

TJPW sent a video message to SETUP announcing the next opponents for Matcha and the SETUP All Asia Women’s Title she currently holds. Both Raku and Pom Harajuku are coming to Thailand to wrestle there for the first time!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO/DEFY “BRIGHT EYES”, 09/11/2024
Washington Hall, Seattle, Washington, USA

A big weekend is going down in Seattle during November. TJPW is teaming up with DEFY for a show. Expect around 10-12 TJPW talent to be coming over. That was already announced a while ago…

DDT/DEFY “DDT IN UTERO”, 09/11/2024
Washington Hall, Seattle, Washington, USA

What turned out to be new news about the event is DEFY will be bringing over DDT for an evening show too! DDT has not said yet how many people they are going to bring over.

DDT/TOKYO JOSHI PRO/DEFY “TRIANGLER DTD”, 10/11/2024
Washington Hall, Seattle, Washington, USA

The weekend ends with DDT, TJPW and DEFY all joining forces for a triple promotion show.
