6. DDT Nagano Sales Manager, Toru Owashi (Free) Local Triumph! 20th Anniversary Of Pre-Debut! “Owashi And Funny Friends Part 6” Special Tag Match: Toru Owashi & Jiro Kuroshio defeated Daisuke Sasaki & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Owashi pinned Shimatani with the Nodowa Otoshi (12:56).
7. ALL OUT Vs DISASTER BOX!: Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated HARASHIMA & Yuki Ueno when Takeshita submitted Ueno with the Walls Of Takeshita (18:48).

Konosuke Takeshita countered Yuki Ueno’s Hurricanrana into the Walls Of Takeshita for the finish. HARASHIMA was unable to help because Akito trapped him in an Ankle Lock outside the ring. Takeshita thanked everyone for coming to the show. DDT had decided to go ahead with holding the event when the typhoon in the region cleared. Takeshita said he looks forward to seeing everyone in good spirits again the next time DDT returns to Nagano.

Toru Owashi found a snake patterned jacket to wear while teaming with Jiro Kuroshio. He had it stripped off him by Tetsuya Endo when he pulled Owashi out of the ring. Owashi was still able to win the match without the jacket. Owashi said that everybody in Nagano is working together to repair the area after the typhoon hit. He also told Kuroshio to call him whenever he wants help from another ikemen.

Before MAO travels to the UK tomorrow he put together his last match in DDT featuring a whole list of rules and stipulations to be followed. It begun as a Scramble Bunkhouse match where both teams raced to the ring to get the Hirata GO! Glasses. It was No DQ so chairs were used as weapons. It was also a TLC match but the T stood for Tongs. It was an Elimination Tag Match so throwing wrestlers over the top rope to the floor was an option to get rid of wrestlers. That was how Yuki Iino and Antonio Honda were eliminated. Two count pinfalls meant that Makoto Oishi and Asuka were easily pinned. MAO cleverly used a chair to tangle up Asuka while she was dancing in order to pin her. The 2 Count Fall then backfired when Kazuki Hirata rolled MAO up in the Miracle One Shot Cradle. MAO said he was able to do a match he can’t have in the UK before he leaves. So he will take this spirit with him to Britain.

This past weekend at the BOYZ show, Danshoku Dieno found a toy dog to “lick” people in the audience with during his entrance. He brought it back with him today. He also had a bit of trouble teaming with Hiroshi Yamato because he doesn’t find him cute. Yamato gave Dieno the Lip Lock to prove he is cute enough for him. Yamato then put himself in the Hell Gate position on the turnbuckles. Dieno pushed Masahiro Takanashi’s face into Yamato’s backside and went for the Danshoku Driver but Saki Akai rolled him up from behind with a School Boy. The momentum rolled Takanashi over and on top of Dieno for an unintentional assisted Jackknife pin.

2a. Masahiro Takanashi & Makoto Oishi defeated Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita when Oishi pinned Honda with a School Boy (5:22).
2b. Danshoku Dieno & Mizuki Watase defeated Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita when Dieno submitted Honda with an Armpit Hold (4:28).
2c. Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita defeated Kazuki Hirata & Yuki Ueno when Honda pinned Hirata with the Diving Fist Drop (7:27).
3. Isami Kodaka defeated Nobuhiro Shimatani with a Sleeper Hold (8:46).
4. Jiro Kuroshio defeated Yukio Sakaguchi with a School Boy (6:08).
5. Road To Ultimate Party 2019! Special 8-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Akito, Shunma Katsumata, MAO & Asuka when Takao pinned Katsumata with the Diving Foot Stomp onto chairs (14:35).
6. DDT Megatonweight Single Match: Yukio Naya defeated Cody Hall with a Back Drop (14:10).
7. Road To Ultimate Party 2019! Special Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Toru Owashi defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Iino when HARASHIMA pinned Iino with the Somato (20:21).

HARASHIMA thanked a “scary” Toru Owashi for helping get their team the win. HARASHIMA also assured everyone his body is alright even if he still feels a little pain. For now his aim is to win all of the warm up matches left before Sumo Hall.

The bad tension between Yukio Naya and Cody Hall became water under the bridge after their singles match. Naya won the match but offered to shake Hall’s hand afterwards. When Hall went along with it Naya asked him to form a team together. Naya also told everyone he wants to take part in the “BAKUHA KOSHIEN 2019” show happening next month. He’s been in DDT for six months and there is so much he wants to learn including Current Blast death matches.

Chairs were brought into play for the 8-Person Tag Match. Daisuke Sasaki threw one into the ring when the referee was distracted. Shunma Katsumata intercepted the chair from Soma Takao but Sasaki got into the ring with another one and hit Katsumata from behind. Takao continued with the chair attacks until he piled the chairs on top of Katsumata. Takao then finished him off with a Diving Foot Stomp onto the pile. Sasaki told the ALL OUT wrestlers to get ready for more hardcore wrestling at Sumo Hall. He then asked Akito if he wants to change his tag partner before then. Backstage Akito agreed that his partner should be changed. His partner is still Katsumata but now it is the hardcore version of Katsumata!

Yukio Sakaguchi is left wondering about what his weaknesses are in the run up to the D-Ou Grand Prix. He lost to Jiro Kuroshio when he missed the God’s Right Knee, crashed into the turnbuckles and got rolled up in a School Boy. Kuroshio on the other hand is pleased to have won against such a killer wrestler today. He feels a bit prouder going into his match with Tetsuya Endo on 27th October.

For a brief moment Nobuhiro Shimatani was sent to sleep by Isami Kodaka. When he woke back up the match was over but that didn’t stop Shimatani attacking Kodaka and dropping him with a Fisherman Suplex. He yelled that the problem between them can’t end like this.

The team of Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita went through three matches so they could find their groove together. They lost the first two matches because Yamashita kept falling for Honda’s fake injuries. Honda had to explain to her that he fakes his injuries so his opponents drop their guard and he can hit them with the Gongitsune. She finally understood and joined in with Honda’s story in the third match. Together with all of the wrestlers from the previous matches, they formed the Gonvengers and successfully launched an attack on Kazuki Hirata. Afterwards Hirata tried to knock out Yamashita with a chop but she blocked it with her chin. Yamashita then hit Hirata with the Crash Rabbit Heat and Honda followed with the Diving Fist Drop to get the team their first win.

Keigo Nakamura’s debut match had the expected result but he was met with respect from Naomi Yoshimura. He got some offence in with a Takedown from behind, a Missile Dropkick and a series of Middle Kicks until some Lariats from Yoshimura put him away.

Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino from Tokyo Joshi Pro announced that they will be entering the Gauntlet Tag match at Sumo Hall! They said if The Steiner Brothers won’t be there then The Bakuretsu Sisters will come out instead!

5. Daisuke Sasaki defeated Akito with the Vietnam Driver II (13:35).
6. Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura defeated Masahiro Takanashi & MAO when Ueno pinned MAO with a Samson Clutch (13:34).
7. I Really Like It! Osaka Specialty Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata defeated HARASHIMA & Billy Ken Kid by TKO when Takeshita used the Walls Of Takeshita on HARASHIMA (23:03).

Late in the main event Konosuke Takeshita delivered a lot of damage to HARASHIMA’s back with a Backbreaker. From there Takeshita applied the Walls Of Takeshita to his opponent. HARASHIMA struggled to reach towards the ropes but Takeshita dragged him back to the centre of the ring. HARASHIMA would not give up despite his helpless position. Toru Owashi took Yuki Ueno’s shirt and threw it into the ring like a towel so the match would be called off. Takeshita wanted HARASHIMA to submit so he asked who threw the shirt in. He also asked if HARASHIMA would accept his defeat today. If he isn’t giving up then they will fight again next week in Ryogoku KFC Hall. Owashi told Takeshita that he was the one who threw the shirt into the ring and now he will be the one teaming with HARASHIMA in KFC Hall.

The Nautilus team of Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura are building up momentum for their KO-D Tag Team Titles No. 1 Contenders match on 27th October. They feel that their team has gotten better since their failed attempt at winning the titles back in June.

A lot of cheating and interference got Daisuke Sasaki the win over Akito. There were Low Blows, chair usage, referee distractions and attacks from both Soma Takao & Nobuhiro Shimatani. After the match Sasaki said what just happened is why he does not care that the 4-Way Tag Match for the KO-D Tag Titles in Sumo Hall is also a Hardcore Match. It means DAMNATION can use chairs and have their other members interfere with no penalty!

The Hiroshi Yamato & Yuki Iino Vs Kazuki Hirata & Maku Donaruto match was as lewd as you could imagine. The wrestlers had to kiss each other to make a tag. Everyone was also eventually reduced to wrestling in their underwear. Yukinori Matsui got fed up when the shenanigans continues after the match. He hit Hirata with a Lariat and chased everyone else out of the ring.

7. Sapporo Specialty! Special Tag Match From The North Country: Konosuke Takeshita & Jiro Kuroshio defeated Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo when Kuroshio pinned Endo with the Moonsault (19:26).

Konosuke Takeshita & Jiro Kuroshio have previously been opponents. Turns out they make a pretty good team too. They survived Daisuke Sasaki’s cheating and they dropped Tetsuya Endo together with a Double Implant. Kuroshio then pinned Endo with the Moonsault. Takeshita told Kuroshio afterwards that they were always fighting each other when they should have been a team together. Kuroshio called Takeshita his best rival but also admitted Endo is the other wrestler he would call a similar threat. Endo got on the apron and said results in tag matches don’t matter. This is not over between him and Kuroshio even if Kuroshio is America bound.

How hardcore is Kazuki Hirata? For his weapons match against Soma Takao, Hirata constructed a chair and a ladder out of posters! They were useless. The poster ladder worked more as a cushion than a crash landing. Takao won the match that was put together to promote his 10 year anniversary DVD. He also apologised because he forget to bring his entrance gown today.

7b. HARASHIMA eliminated Tetsuya Endo with the Somato (20:01).
*Jiro Kuroshio fails in V2. HARASHIMA becomes the 47th DDT Extreme Champion!

The stage is now set for DDT’s Ultimate Party in Sumo Hall this November. HARASHIMA was the last man standing in the Survival 3 Way match, eliminating both Jiro Kuroshio and Tetsuya Endo to win the DDT Extreme Title! Kuroshio was the first man eliminated when the numbers game overwhelmed him. He blocked Endo’s Shooting Star Press and dropped him with the Implant. But when he pinned Endo it left him vulnerable for HARASHIMA to hit him with the Somato. Everyone was surprised to see the champion eliminated first! Endo went into full on attack mode against HARASHIMA but after weeks of insults, HARASHIMA finally proved he can still beat Endo when he pinned him with the Somato.

HARASHIMA thanked the fans for their support because they are the reason he won today. He told Kuroshio it is okay if he is going to America or if he is staying in Japan. He’ll always be waiting to see him again. Konosuke Takeshita was then brought down from the broadcast table to confirm the main event for “ULTIMATE PARTY 2019!” is between him and HARASHIMA for both the KO-D Openweight Title and the DDT Extreme Title. Takeshita said he is surprised to face HARASHIMA again. He beat him for the KO-D Title in Saitama Super Arena two years ago which was when the previous era of DDT moved towards the current era. HARASHIMA told Takeshita that he has never forgotten that match. He knows Takeshita is both young and in perfect physical condition but he can still stand against him! He ended by saying all of the DDT brands will gather together at Sumo Hall to deliver a great show.

The power of rugby was on ALL OUT’s side especially since this show was happening the day after Japan defeated Ireland in the Rugby World Cup (Editor’s note: boo!). Yuki Iino entered the ring in almost full rugby gear taken from the No Side Game TV drama he worked on. But Daisuke Sasaki was in the same mindset and when the bell rang he rugby tackled Iino! Sasaki attacked him with chairs until Iino stopped him with his own rugby tackle Spear. However Iino’s rugby tactics backfired when he missed another Spear and tackled Daisuke Kiso by accident. Soma Takao blinded Iino with red Mist and sent him Spearing Akito out of the match. Takao dropped Iino with the Gin And Tonic then Sasaki applied the Cross Facelock. Iino tried to fight out by summoning power from his rugby ball but he eventually tapped out.

Sasaki yelled that just because Japan defeated Ireland in rugby doesn’t mean that Iino could beat DAMNATION in pro wrestling! He called out for any new team to challenge them. FUMA & Yusuke Kubo from BASARA came out. Sasaki asked if they were at the show. FUMA said that the BASARA roster has a plan to win all of DDT’s championships before BASARA splits off and becomes independent. FUMA challenged DAMNATION and also demanded it to be a Hardcore Match! Before Sasaki could answer, two men walked out wearing bags over their heads. They pulled the bags off to reveal it was Minoru Fujita & Daiki Shimomura! They like the idea of a Hardcore Match and asked to make it a 3 Way Tag. Shunma Katsumata then got in the ring and said he should be in the match because he is DDT’s hardcore wrestler! Akito agreed to be his tag partner because he wants to wrestle the BASARA guys. Sasaki accepted all of the challenges so the KO-D Tag Team Titles are being defended in a Hardcore 4 Way Tag Match at Sumo Hall!

Takeshita went into his match against Asuka with his lower back heavily taped up. Two days before the show he suffered a back injury from weightlifting. It effected his performance with limited movement after leap frogs and back pain preventing him from doing the German Suplex. Asuka took advantage but couldn’t beat Takeshita with the Swinging Choke Slam. Takeshita blocked the Moonsault with his knees and countered a cradle with one of his own for a flash three count on Asuka. The result left Asuka annoyed because she went into the match without any injuries and couldn’t beat a less than 100% Takeshita.

You’re never too old to succeed. Just ask Gorgeous Matsuno. At first things were going badly for him against Sanshiro Takagi. He missed the Gorgeous Superstar Elbow and had his left arm targeted from there. Matsuno would have chances to turn the tables but kept missing his signature Elbow Drop. Desperate, Matsuno took out powder and threw it. Unfortunately he didn’t realise that Daisuke Kiso was standing in front of him, not Takagi. With the ref blind, Takagi brought in chairs and plastic boxes to use as weapons. He lifted Matsuno up for the Himawari Bomb but something unexpected happened. Matsuno countered it into a Frankensteiner that sent Takagi crashing into the cases. Matsuno then rolled up Takagi into the School Boy and won the match! The new O-40 Champion told everyone he never gave up on his dream even at 58 years old. But today is not the end of his story. Matsuno’s dream will continue and he wants to share his dreams, courage and energy with everybody!

Cody Hall and Yukio Naya continue to be at each other’s throats, targeting each other in the 4 Way Tag. There was no such problems between Hiroshi Yamato & Mad Paulie. Paulie watched on while Yamato sang his way down to the ring. Antonio Honda tricked Naomi Yoshimura into hitting Yuki Ueno with a Lariat. Hall then picked up the pieces and beat Ueno with the Thunder Buster. Naya tried to get back in the ring to continue fighting Hall but Makoto Oishi held him back on the apron.

Masahiro Takanashi pinned Mizuki Watase to win his tag match with MAO but his thoughts are entirely on Sumo Hall. He challenges Ryuichi Sekine for the Union MAX Title at “ULTIMATE PARTY 2019!” and he isn’t happy that Sekine referred to him under his old ring name Masa Takanashi. Takanashi thinks that means Sekine has only seen him in DDT and is not aware of his work on the independent scene. He will teach Sekine who Masahiro Takanashi really is!

The mysterious letter that was sent to the DDT office during the week left some of the roster spooked. The wrestlers in the opening match gathered together in the locker room before the show to receive amulets that would protect them from any supernatural threats. Everyone except for Kazuki Hirata. He didn’t believe there was anything to worry about. But when the first match took place and Hirata wore his Hirata GO! glasses, his music was replaced with cries of “Help me…” The demon Saki emerged and entered the ring. She bit Hirata on the shoulder causing the match to get called off. Saki then chased everyone out of the ring and a message appeared on the screen saying “Let’s play a game…”

There was no waiting until Sumo Hall to get an inter-brand match. Nobuhiro Shimatani defeated Takato Nakano in a DDT Vs BASARA pre-show match. Nakano was angry he lost after recently becoming one third of the UWA World 6-Man Tag Team Champions. Shimatani on the other hand is now so confident, he wants to fight Isami Kodaka!

Trainee Keigo Nakamura was given exciting news to start the show. He will have his official debut match on 19th October! Naomi Yoshimura will be his opponent but Yoshimura wasn’t impressed by Nakamura’s size. He thinks Nakamura can’t fight him with such a skinny body. Yoshimura placed down a weighing scale and got Nakamura to weigh himself. He weighs 72kg. Actually it was 71.1kg and that was with Nakamura wearing clothes. Yoshimura told Nakamura to reach 75kg before their match.

Kazusada Higuchi gave an update on his PCL injury. He is out of action for the rest of the year and will do his best to rehabilitate and return next year.

The final part of the show was a video message from Kenny Omega promoting his match with Riho against Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita at Sumo Hall. Omega said he is nervous about the match but also looking forward to it.

The D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 competitors are Konosuke Takeshita, HARASHIMA, Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo, Some Takao, Yukio Sakaguchi, Yuki Ueno, Naomi Yoshimura, Yuki Iino, Keisuke Ishii, Bull James, Chris Brookes, Masato Tanaka and Chihiro Hashimoto!

The KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles (remember them?) have been vacated because the champions have not defended the belts since November 2017. New champions will be crowned at Sumo Hall in a match between teams captained by Danshoku Dieno and Super Sasadango Machine.

7. DDT Extreme Title – Survival 3 Way Match: Jiro Kuroshio (c) Vs HARASHIMA Vs Tetsuya Endo

The main event is now an elimination 3 Way Match. Jiro Kuroshio decided this because he wants to beat both HARASHIMA and Tetsuya Endo in the one match. Also he wants to cherish his time wrestling in Japan before he relocates to America next year. That’s why he did not choose a stipulation that allows weapon usage. HARASHIMA has experience wrestling in such a match, winning one in a Sumo Hall main event back in 2014. Endo thinks HARASHIMA is deteriorating as proved by his recent wins over him including a direct pinfall. Endo also says he will move to America next year so he can go back home to New York. When he was corrected about his hometown really being Shiraishi City in Miyagi, he dismisses it with “That’s not America” as his response.

The power of rugby has given Yuki Iino a massive boost in confidence while Daisuke Sasaki is trying to figure out if he likes or hates the sport. Iino pinned Sasaki at yesterday’s show in Fukushima in a match featuring rugby tackles from both of them. Sasaki refuses to accept the result but also can’t handle being unable to tackle Iino effectively.

Yuki Ueno injured his left foot during the Campsite Pro Wrestling match last week. He already missed the past weekend’s shows but has been given the all clear to return at Korakuen Hall.

A note was found in the DDT office written by Saki Akai’s demon relative Saki. She may show up again soon but the complete card for Korakuen has already been decided without her.

7. ALL OUT Vs DAMNATION!: Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Yuki Iino defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie when Iino pinned Sasaki with the Spear (16:30).

Yuki Iino has finished his TV work and immediately made an impact by pinning Daisuke Sasaki in his return match! Akito called Iino the hero of today’s show and he is really glad that Iino won.

Gorgeous Matsuno was so excited to begin the 3 Way Match he booked with Tetsuya Endo and MAO. Then the bell rang and Endo pinned him in 11 seconds. Matsuno asked for a rematch otherwise everyone who came to see the show would be disappointed. The match restarted but went pear shaped when Yukinori Matsui got knocked out. Matsuno brought in chairs to use. When Endo and MAO grabbed the chairs, Matsuno stopped them with Flying Cross Chops into the chairs. Matsuno hurt his hands but when Matsui got back up, he saw Matsuno hurt with his opponents standing next to him holding up chairs. Matsui disqualified Endo and MAO meaning Matsuno was the winner! After the match Matsuno told everyone about the trouble he had getting to the venue from a cancelled flight to a delayed train to the venue. But no matter what happens to Matsuno, he will always stand up and push forward!

HARASHIMA also complimented Matsuno for his dedication to travel for shows no matter how bad the weather is.

Kazuki Hirata said today was his God given chance to crush Yukio Sakaguchi! He instantly tapped out to an Anklelock. Sakaguchi later pinned Hirata in the rematch.

Makoto Oishi learned that Masahiro Takanashi was going into their match with injured knees that he suffered while wrestling in Thailand recently. However Takanashi learned that Oishi injured both of his arms when he slipped in a shower after the Campsite Pro Wrestling match. The injuries played a big role in their match, both as targets and as something that hampered them. Oishi put Takanashi in an Indian Deathlock but Takanashi latched on an Arm Lock in return until the bell rang. There was confusion over the result but Matsui ruled that Oishi gave up first, making Takanashi the winner.

Cody Hall and Yukio Naya confronted each other after the opener.

A couple of matches were moved around due to delayed arrivals during typhoon weather.
