Isami Kodaka put away the young Tetsuya Endo in his first KO-D Openweight Title defence. Endo went high risk when he tried to do the Torture Rack Bomb from the top rope but it was countered into a Frankensteiner. Endo somehow had some fight left in him after that but Kodaka kept up the pressure until Endo stayed down. There were no hard feelings between the two afterwards and both said it was a fun match. Kodaka welcomes another challenge from Endo in the future but he warns that he will crush him again. Konosuke Takeshita caught Kodaka’s attention and threw down the challenge for the next title match. After a discussion with Amon Tsurumi the challenge was accepted for 3rd January!

Akito is now the No. 1 Contender for the DDT Extreme Title. His submission style was too much for Antonio Honda to take and a clever Arm Trapped version of the Scorpion Deathlock made Honda submit. Akito will get his title match against Kendo Kashin on 23rd December. He is interested in Kendo’s idea to wrestle under modified amateur rules with three count pinfalls.

#OhkaEmpire learned the hard way that Batten X Burabura is not a good replacement for Ken Ohka. Everytime Kazuki Hirata put on the HIRATA GO! glasses and began dancing, Super Sasadango Machine would stop him with the Lehmann Shock. When the move was attempted for the third time Hirata countered it into his Miracle Cradle for the sudden win. Sasadango & Danshoku Dino demanded another title rematch. Amon Tsurumi told them Ohka was too busy to team with them and Burabura was too useless to deserve another chance. Suddenly KENSO walked out to again challenge Sanshiro Takagi to a match. Tsurumi instead decided to make KENSO team with #OhkaEmpire and go after the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. Dino is pleased. KENSO isn’t.

Saki Akai opened the show to speak about how enthusiastic she is to defend her Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. But as she spoke Cherry snuck into the ring and gave her a School Boy to become the new champion. Akai was able to get the title back by winning the Battle Royal later in the show. Cherry snuck up to her again after the match but this time Akai fought her off. Akai thinks Cherry’s recent obsession over her and the title is an age thing.

Pop idol Maki Ito was embarrassed to be eliminated so quickly from the Battle Royal. She approached Makoto Oishi after the match and asked him to be her wrestling teacher. Oishi wasn’t interested but she pestered him until he said yes.

There has been some concern over Dai Suzuki’s lack of matches since he debuted in DNA last November. So it’s come of no surprise to see him as the new King Of Dark Champion. Amon Tsurumi is concerned because this means he may be forced to book less King Of Dark Title matches due to Suzuki’s limited schedule. Tsurumi even shouted advice and encouragement to Suzuki over the microphone during the match. He didn’t even care if Suzuki cheated by bringing in a chair. The plan backfired and Kouki Iwasaki won the match to get rid of the title. Tsurumi threw the belt at Suzuki in disgust afterwards.

Rekka is from New Taiwan Entertainment Wrestling Federation. He joins a special team made up of a Japanese, an American and a Taiwanese. Konosuke Takeshita is the Japanese wrestler and Hiroshi Fukuda is the American.

Both Antonio Honda and Akito are claiming the No. 1 Contendership for the DDT Extreme Title. The championship is very important to Akito and hates how Kendo Kashin treated the belt when he won it. Honda wants another shot at Kashin and his unusual match stipulations.

The attendance for this show is pretty disappointing given as it was DDT’s first time in the main Osaka Edion Arena and their 3rd biggest show of the year. Until now they only booked the building’s #2 Gym. However Sanshiro Takagi said DDT will book the arena again next year. He wants to boost their following in Osaka and the Kansai region to be on the same level as Tokyo.

In one last tribute to Union Pro Wrestling, its ace is now the champion of DDT! Isami Kodaka outfought Yukio Sakaguchi in the main event to win the KO-D Openweight Championship. Kodaka was introduced as a Union wrestler while Sakaguchi entered the arena accompanied by the rest of Shuten-dōji including the injured KUDO. Sakaguchi went for a Triangle Choke early but Kodaka countered it into a Power Bomb. Sakaguchi came back with numerous kicks but Kodaka urged him to keep them coming. Eventually Kodaka goaded Sakaguchi into an Octopus Hold. It wasn’t enough and soon Kodaka was given several Knee Strikes including one to the back after Kodaka missed his Isamuashi Zan finisher. Sakaguchi went for the Right Knee Of God but this time Kodaka hit the Isamuashi Zan to counter it. Another Right Knee Of God found its target but wasn’t enough. Kodaka was able to hit one more Isamuashi Zan and got the three count. When Kodaka was given the belt he told Sakaguchi he was open for one more match. In his victory speech he talked about seeing DDT when he was 20 years old but he did not know how to join their school so he went to K-DOJO when he found out they were taking applications. He brought up the upcoming launch of Pro Wrestling BASARA and then called out his first challenger Tetsuya Endo. He challenged him to a quick Rock-Paper-Scissors game but lost. Endo said that game is what got him the title shot but he is now flowing with ability. His chest is filled with pride for DDT so he must win the title for them.

The atmosphere was tense inside the ring when HARASHIMA and Konosuke Takeshita fought. It took two attempts of the Swan Dive Somato for HARASHIMA to win. Takeshita threw everything he could at him but it was no good. Takeshita was depressed afterwards, only saying “…Useless. No good. No good” in the post-match interview. Ken Ohka crashed HARASHIMA’s interview to ask if they could enter next month’s tournament for the vacant KO-D Tag Team Titles. Ohka told him the team that beat New Japan and Hiroshi Tanahashi should strike while the iron is hot. HARASHIMA accepted when Ohka told him how much the fans want to see it.

In the Battle Of The Big Lads Shigehiro Irie fell to the Big Japan Golem Yuji Okabayashi. There were Lariats and Headbutts aplenty but Okabayashi came out on top with the Golem Splash. He appealed for another match afterwards saying that they are in sync with each other and he would fight him any number of times. He also teased the idea of them teaming up and entering the upcoming KO-D Tag Team Titles tournament. Irie likes the idea but wants to know what his friends Keisuke Ishii and Soma Takao want to do before he makes the decision.

The Brahman Brothers attacked Saki Akai with an octopus before their entrance for Match #6. Late in the match they put a plate of curry onto a chair in the middle of the ring. The plan backfired when Hiroshi Fukuda gave Danshoku Dino an Atomic Drop onto the chair. Dino’s backside landed on the curry. Brahman Shu was able to pin Fukuda but Dino didn’t feel like a winner after that. Akai got her revenge on the Brahmans when she attacked them with the octopus backstage at the end of the show.

Kendo Kashin had an odd array of temporary body tattoos including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics logo and a picture of Antonio Honda’s actor brother Eiichiro Honda. UWF Rules were in place with pinfalls and countouts included. When Honda was about to do the Diving Fist Drop, Kashin grabbed Yukinori Matsui by the legs and used the distraction to do an Avalanche Cross Armbreaker. Kashin lock Honda in an Inside Cradle and that was enough for the title change. Kashin stomped on the DDT Extreme Title belt after the match causing an angry Akito to confront him in the ring. Kashin offered Akito the belt but then kicked him in the stomach. The new champ is already thinking up rules for his first defence. Maybe amateur wrestling but with three count pinfalls?

Each participant in the Hardcore 6 Way match brought a weapon with them to the ring. Among them Sanshiro Takagi brought along an electric fan and the Combat Bicycle, Daisuke Sasaki brought down an unwilling Suguru Miyatake and Yuko Miyamoto carried a locker into the ring. Takagi stuck Kazusada Higuchi’s hand into the fan, he also stuck KENSO into the locker and Dropkicked it. Higuchi got revenge on Takagi by Choke Slamming him onto the locker with KENSO still in it. Sasaki hit Higuchi with trash can lids until he fell on top of a table. Sasaki then climbed a giant ladder and hit the Diving Elbow Drop through the table to get the win.

An unmasked Kikutaro disguised himself as a TV reporter to ambush Cherry before the Battle Royal. As he interviewed her about the match Kikutaro lifted up a metal basin and dropped it over her head. She was stunned long enough to be pinned, marking the first of many Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title changes throughout the match. In the ring Kikutaro tried to get his hands on Saki Akai but Yukinori Matsui came to the rescue and gave him a German Suplex. Shunma Katsumata capitalised and pinned Kikutaro to eliminate him and become the champion. Kikutaro was later found in the locker room knocked out and naked. Kazuki Hirata then entered the match wearing Kikutaro’s clothes. Gota Ihashi’s tights became a two time champion and Cherry won back the title but in the end Saki Akai came out victorious. After almost a year of trying to win and keep the belt, Akai pinned Cherry to win the match and become champion. She spoke about getting to compete in the same arena her father did when he was a boxer and getting to do something he couldn’t, win a championship.

In an act of psychological warfare, Super Sasadango Machine wanted to divide RG & Ryota Yamazato. Literally. He did this by wearing Buffaloman horns and then charging them so he could do the Hurricane Mixer. They both dodged it but unfortunately for their fellow comedian wrestler Mizuki Watase, he was hit. The move smashed Watase into six different pieces and it was up to the comedians to put Watase back together in less than ten minutes to revive him. They succeeded but Watase was furious to be left in harm’s way. He attacked his friends but they fought him off. Everybody calmed down and made up afterwards by singing songs.

Akito debuted his new finisher called the Hanamasa. It is the same move as YAMATO’s Gallaria. Mao Inoue injured his jaw during the opening match.

Right before the pre-show began Tomomitsu Matsunaga told Kouki Iwasaki to focus on Dai Suzuki if he wanted to get rid of the King Of Dark Title. Matsunaga was proven right that Suzuki was the weakest in the match when he pinned him. However since Iwasaki was not involved in the result he is still the “Misfortune Champion”.

KUDO appeared at the beginning of the show to announce he is going into surgery to repair his right ACL on 2nd December. He aims to come back next summer.

Joey Ryan will be back in January and he’s bringing a friend with him. DDT’s going to get a whole lot cuter because Candice LeRae will make her DDT debut on the 3/1 Korakuen Hall show! She will also be at the 10th and 11th January shows in Osaka.

BOYZ will hold its first show in Osaka on 6th March, 2016.

The main event had to be changed hours before the show when Kota Ibushi fell ill with a high fever. It was decided he was in no state to compete so he was pulled off the show and replaced with HARASHIMA. HARASHIMA was picked because finished 3rd in the Dramatic General Election so the KO-D Openweight Title was still on the line. He appeared calm when he entered the ring despite the hectic story behind his latest title shot. Maybe the lack of time for HARASHIMA to prepare was the deciding factor in Yukio Sakaguchi winning but respect was shared after the match. Sakaguchi was happy with getting a fierce fight after the emergency switch. He said he can wait for Ibushi another day but there is a name at the top of his list of who he wants to fight. That name is Isami Kodaka. The winner of the Dramatic Election was confirmed to be Sakaguchi’s next challenger in Osaka on 28th November.

The annual Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament took place after the main event. The prize on offer was a KO-D Title shot in Hakata on 13th December. Tetsuya Endo ran through the tournament and defeated Danshoku Dino in the final. He admitted he was a lucky boy and now looks forward to Sakaguchi Vs Kodaka. He said he told everyone before that he would one day get a KO-D Title shot before his tag partner Konosuke Takeshita. Now he has the chance to beat Takeshita in the race to become KO-D Champion first.

Daisuke Sasaki returned from a tour of Chile and brought along his newly won Chile MAX Lucha Libre Championship. This match was Kodaka’s first DDT appearance since the formation of BASARA but he was wearing a Union shirt in dedication to his former promotion. Kodaka thanked Sasaki for a good match but he now must pay attention to Sakaguchi.

HARASHIMA’s late addition to the main event meant that he was taken out of Match #5. Super Sasadango Machine was annoyed because it was too late for him to change his PowerPoint presentation and HARASHIMA featured heavily in it. For some reason he decided to team with Yasu Urano instead of Ken Ohka and the match was now a 2 Vs 1 Handicap bout. Ohka and Machine tried to avoid each other and play wrestle when they were in the ring together. However Ohka eventually got too into the action and soon both of them wrestled each other as normal. Sasadango tried to immitate HARASHIMA by going for the Somato but Ohka rolled out of the way and hit the Spear Of Flame to win the match. Afterwards Ohka yelled out his support for HARASHIMA in the main event and also for their upcoming meeting with Hiroshi Tanahashi next month.

The DDT Extreme Title match featured a lot of torture. Both Antonio Honda and Danshoku Dino were accompanied by a friend, Honda had Ryu Gouma and Dino had Toru Owashi. Whenever a wrestler initiated a rope break their friend would be tortured and held hostage at ringside. The match ends either through normal means or when a hostage gives up. Both Owashi and Gouma were trapped against a corner post and tortured with clothespins attached to the face, tickling, ice poured down their shirts, getting their face rubbed into Hiroshi Fukuda’s pet dog P-chan and having kusaya (salt-dried and fermented fish) wiped under their nose. The Kusaya proved to be Owashi’s breaking point and he gave up just when Dino was about to beat Honda with a 10 count KO. Kendo Kashin appeared (wearing Sasadango Machine’s title belt for some reason) after the match and challenged Honda to an Extreme Title match on the 28/11 Osaka show. He also gave him a pumpkin mask. Honda put on the mask and accepted the challenge. Kashin then grabbed the Extreme belt and handed it over to a fan in the front row. In a backstage interview Kashin said he wants to do a UWF Rules match but with pinfalls also allowed.

Freelance wrestler KENSO appeared after the intermission looking for Sanshiro Takagi. He first showed up at yesterday’s Tokyo Joshi Pro event and was told to come here if he wanted Takagi’s attention. KENSO brought up their feud from 2006 that culminated in a No Ropes Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match. KENSO said their rivalry had so much passion and he wishes to relive it. Takagi offered a singles match for 3rd November. The crowd started chanting “Dark” and KENSO thought they were referring to his Dark Kingdom stable. Takagi had to explain the King Of Dark Title to him. Since Takagi is the champion the match has to be for the title and thus has to be on the pre-show. KENSO still accepted the match.

Everyone in Match #2 wrestled in fancy dress costumes. Yuka Sakazaki was a witch and KAT-TOO were her zombies. Saki Akai wore an orange maid costume, Masa Takanashi wore a pumpkin mask and Kazuki Hirata was, who else? Magnum TOKYO.

There was a big applause for both Shigehiro Irie and Konosuke Takeshita after their time limit draw. Despite being a dark match both wrestlers wanted to fight their hearts out.

Hiroshi Fukuda distracted Shoko Nakajima by making her sing and then attacking her. Nakajima turned the tables when she interrupted Fukuda’s own singing with a Roll Up but Fukuda kicked out and applied an Armlock to submit her.

Daisuke Sasaki will hold a show celebrating his 10th anniversary of his pro wrestling debut on 18th November. Dick Togo will be the special guest referee for the main event and Antonio Honda Vs Yusuke Kubo is the first announced match.

Aja Kong will return with the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title on the 28/11 Osaka show. She will defend the title in a Battle Royal.

Keisuke Ishii, Makoto Oishi and Masa Takanashi are all getting gender swapped characters for the Ring☆Dream online card game.

KUDO was in attendance to watch his Shuten-dōji brother Yukio Sakaguchi defend the KO-D Openweight Title. The champion hugged KUDO before the match started. Meanwhile Daisuke Sasaki was pushed down to the ring on a trolley by his Golden☆Storm Rider team mates. Sasaki only attempted to do the Vietnam Driver II once in the match but Sakaguchi slipped out of the hold and trapped Sasaki in a Sleeper Hold. Sasaki did catch Sakaguchi with a flash Hurricanrana but it wasn’t enough to get the three count. Sasaki aimed big by setting up an Avalanche Pedigree but Sakaguchi stopped him with some Elbow Strikes that left Sasaki hanging upside down from the turnbuckles by his legs. Sakaguchi climbed the turnbuckles and hit KUDO’s Diving Double Knee Drop! Sasaki somehow kicked out but was put into another Sleeper Hold. Sasaki showed some life when he stuck up his middle finger but Sakaguchi put him away with a Knee Strike to the face, a Jumping Knee to the back and finally the Right Knee Of God in the corner. Sakaguchi celebrated his title defence with KUDO and Masa Takanashi in the ring. His next title defence will be on 28th October against the runner up of the DDT Dramatic General Election.

It was a long, rocky hill to climb but #OhkaEmpire are the new KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions! They were the underdogs against Team Drift but Ken Ohka was able to lead his team to victory. Danshoku Dino came out with his hair dyed blonde for the occasion. The title change looked like it wouldn’t happen. Although #OhkaEmpire jumped Drift when the bell rang and Super Sasadango Machine tried to hit the Vertical Drop Lehman Shock three times, Drift stood their ground. Shigehiro Irie looked to be too strong for Ohka but Ohka ducked the Beast Bomber and hit the Spear Of Flame for the upset victory. Later on the new champions confronted Happy Motels to congratulate them on becoming the No. 1 Contenders. Ohka said #OhkaEmpire are a major sports group and they will train hard to defend the titles. Antonio Honda interrupted him with a Stunner. Dino ignored what was going on in the ring so he could have his way with Mao Inoue at ringside.

Kota Ibushi & Suguru Miyatake both entered the ring for their match carrying a drink that was described as Ibushi’s medicine. He consumed it during the match to get an ability boost.

Joey Ryan leaves Japan for now undefeated. He made a friend in Hiroshi Fukuda during his stay. Fukuda told Ryan he is going to be lonely without him and he wrote him a love letter that is also a song that is 16 bars long. Ryan told Fukuda he is his best friend in Japan and they will team again because he will be back in November. When Ryan comes back he wants to face a variety of different wrestlers but none more so than Danshoku Dino.

Toru Owashi did not want any nonsense from Kazuki Hirata today. No goofy glasses, no entrance robe or anything of that sort. Hirata had to go get other gear. Later on Owashi’s own wrestling gear went missing. The only clothing he could find in his locker was a peach costume he used to wrestle in. He had no other choice but to become “Momowashi” once more. It turned out Hirata stole Owashi’s gear and he wore it for the match! At one point Hirata put Owashi in a Stretch Plum just for the sake of making the pun. They later danced to “Tokyo GO!” until Owashi pinned Hirata with a School Boy out of nowhere. Owashi asked afterwards why Hirata stole his gear. Hirata said he found out this month is Owashi’s 15th anniversary in pro wrestling and his 10th anniversary in DDT. Owashi must have forgotten about it. To celebrate Hirata decided to wear Owashi’s gear so he could be more like him. Hirata said Owashi’s bullying has been painful but he still wants them to work hard together going into Owashi’s 11th year in DDT. He gave Owashi his peach helmet back, put on his Hirata GO! glasses and they danced.

Gota Ihashi is free from dark match purgatory once more! Thanks to some help from his Pigging 2015 team mates, Ihashi was able to beat Sanshiro Takagi in the dark match, making Takagi the new King Of Dark Champion! Ihashi threw the belt at Takagi and was so happy that he added himself to the opening match. He then invited Saki Akai to participate in the match to even out the numbers. Akai did not want to take part until Matsunaga revealed that he has her toothbrush. He placed it in Ihashi’s mouth and Akai stormed the ring to kick Ihashi in the face. She went for a Diving Cross Body but Matsunaga dodged and she landed on Makoto Oishi instead. Shunma Katsumata was blinded by blue mist and Ihashi pinned him with a Moonsault to give him a rare two match winning streak. He celebrated by filling his mouth with toothpaste and brushing his teeth with Akai’s toothbrush. He said he was satisfied by the strawberry taste.

Daisuke Sasaki has been honing his new Vietnam Driver II finisher all month long. The move has pinned Yukio Sakaguchi, earning Sasaki the KO-D Openweight Title match. However since then Sakaguchi has been figuring out how to counter it and he was able to pin Sasaki at a later show. Sasaki claims this is all part of his plan to win the title.

Things are looking up for #OhkaEmpire as they prepare to fight Team Drift one more time. Danshoku Dino has gotten the better of Keisuke Ishii in their recent matches together and Super Sasadango Machine re-established how powerful the Lehman Shock is. However Ken Ohka sticks out as the weak link of the team.

Joey Ryan has won all of his matches so far with the Sweet Tooth Music, a Super Kick to an opponent while they have a lollipop stuck in their mouth.

In the main event Fujita & Bambi will face Ken Ohka and a female wrestler of his choosing. All we know is the wrestler represents Ganbare☆Joshi. Whichever team loses will be forced to banish a member of their group from Ganpuro.
