6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sekimoto & Kazusada Higuchi (c) defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata when Higuchi pinned Katsumata with the Doctor Bomb (19:44).
*V2 for SekiGuchi.

One of the recurring things to happen on “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” is Kazusada Higuchi putting his opponents through tables. This week he got a taste of his own medicine when Shunma Katsumata dove off the entrance gate to crush Higuchi through a table! Daisuke Sekimoto and Konosuke Takeshita did German Suplexes to each other but the result came down to Higuchi pinning Katsumata with the Doctor Bomb. The KO-D Tag Team Champions were told afterwards that their next defence will be on the 26th June episode of Maji Manji against DAMNATION members Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie. This match takes place two days after Higuchi challenges for the KO-D Openweight Title.

Good news everyone! Mad Paulie learned new words, “oppai” and “chininko”. Also Daisuke Sasaki revealed he is healthy enough to wrestle again so he added himself to the DAMNATION Vs DDT Elder Brothers match, giving DAMNATION a 4 on 3 advantage. Masahiro Takanashi came out to even the odds and the match became 4 Vs 4. Once again cheating from DAMNATION was the reason for HARASHIMA losing the match. Sasaki used a chair to block the Somato then Soma Takao gave HARASHIMA a Low Blow. Sasaki pinned him with the Hurricanrana afterwards. Sasaki told Soma and Endo that he heard a rumour about them not getting along and encouraged the two to kiss and make up. Endo took it literally puckered up for a kiss but Soma stayed quiet and left the ring.

Ken Ohka appeared at the show to learn what the Punishment Match he earned last week was going to be. Producer Danshoku Dieno told him that on the 26th June episode of Maji Manji, Ohka will take on the 19 year old kickboxing phenom Tenshin Nasukawa! This kid has been competing for four years and currently has a 26-0 pro record. Dieno knows how much Ohka wants to be a major sports player so this pro wrestling versus kickboxing match will be perfect for him. Ohka tried to convince everyone that this isn’t a punishment match and he is excited for it.

Antonio Honda literally tied Yoshihiko into knots during their match. Yoshihiko recovered and hit a big Sasuke Special to both Honda & Keisuke Ishii outside the ring. Yoshihiko stunned Honda with a Lip Lock which allowed Dieno to give him the Danshoku Driver. Dieno then pulled Yoshihiko on top of Honda for the pin.

Mizuki Watase’s time with two Right To Challenge Gauntlets was short lived. Mike Bailey pinned him today to win the rights of the black gauntlet. Both Bailey & MAO want to cash in the gauntlet at the 24th June show in Korakuen Hall for a KO-D Tag Title match. It had to be explained to them that the gauntlet is only used for KO-D Openweight Title shots.

Yesterday Riho celebrated her 21st birthday. HARASHIMA gave her a unique gift, permission to write “Somato” in kanji. Both wrestlers use the Somato as their finishing move but Riho’s version was previously written in hiragana (そうまとう). Now that she is an adult she gets to write it in kanji (蒼魔刀). During today’s tag match, Toru Owashi attempted to do La Magistral Cradle on Saki Akai. Takanashi gave Owashi a Thrust Kick and Akai rolled Owashi into a School Boy. Riho stopped the pin by hitting the Somato on Akai and Owashi was able to pin Akai to win the match.

Akito called out Kota Umeda for failing to defend the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles over the last two months. Earlier in the show it was confirmed that ALL OUT would be challenging Umeda, Yuki Ueno & Koji Takeda for the titles on 24th June. Umeda changed the subject by promoting his match next week with Masato Takana. He was interrupted by Makoto Oishi who wanted to fight him over who the real star of Maji Manji should be. Umeda ignored him.

2. Naomi Yoshimura defeated Daiki Shimomura with a Short Range Lariat (9:03).
3. Akito & Tomomitsu Matsunaga defeated Kota Umeda & Kouki Iwasaki when Akito pinned Iwasaki with a Modified Facebuster (13:16).
4. Mike Bailey & MAO defeated Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi when Bailey pinned Oishi with the Ultima Weapon (13:54).
5. 3 Way Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi & Keisuke Ishii defeated Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase and Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata when Higuchi pinned Katsumata with the Doctor Bomb (12:44).
6. Tsukaba Specialty! Gama Oil Sales Special 6-Man Tag Match: Soma Takao, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated HARASHIMA, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when Endo pinned Takanashi with the Shooting Star Press (18:24).

Tetsuya Endo had Masahiro Takanashi pinned when Takanashi countered the hold into a Sunset Flip. Unfortunately for Takanashi he did this right when HARASHIMA charged in to do the Somato to Endo. That meant Takanashi accidentally took the move instead. Soma Takao kicked HARASHIMA below the belt while the referee was focused on Endo hitting the Shooting Star Press on Takanashi, giving DAMNATION the win.

Kazusada Higuchi had messages involving both of his upcoming championship programs. He told ALL OUT that they won’t be able to win the KO-D Tag Team Titles from himself and Daisuke Sekimoto with the performance they gave today. He then told Shigehiro Irie to promise they will have a fierce battle for the KO-D Openweight Title at Korakuen Hall later this month.

Makoto Oishi has shaved off all his hair so he no longer has the reverse mohawk. He told everyone that he and his new fiancee both have a dream to become world champions by the time they get married. Oishi’s goal today was to beat MAO directly so he could get his Right To Challenge Gauntlet. That didn’t happen but Danshoku Dieno promised to help Oishi achieve his goal to become a champion somehow.

The first Right To Challenge Gauntlet transfer did take place today when Hiratimo Dragon took the one from Antonio Honda thanks to his usual unmasking antics. Takatimo Dragon asked Hiratimo when he would cash it in but Hiratimo stayed quiet. He then knocked Takatimo out with a chop to the neck when Takatimo began speculating.

Six envelopes were hung above the ring for the main event. Out of the 15 wrestlers fighting over them it was Mizuki Watase, Tetsuya Endo, MAO, Antonio Honda, Ken Ohka and Meiko Satomura who pulled one down each. Kazusada Higuchi went on to win the Battle Royal portion of the match, last pinning his rival Kota Umeda to get the guaranteed KO-D Openweight Title shot on 24th June. After the match each of the prize winners opened their envelopes to discover what they won. Everybody got a Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere gauntlet except for Ohka. He pulled out a piece of paper that said “Punishment Game”. He now has to participate in one for next week’s episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI”.

The others can cash in their gauntlet for a KO-D Title match whenever they want between now and 14th October. However if any of them lose a wrestling match in any company they must pass the gauntlet over to the person who beats them. That rule stays in effect until the title match is cashed in. Watase has no intention to use his title shot while Shigehiro Irie is the champion. He will wait until somebody else beats Irie but that totally won’t happen. Endo wants to sell his gauntlet. MAO thinks his gauntlet looks cool so he doesn’t want to get rid of it yet. Honda will wait for the right moment to cash in. Satomura has a busy schedule with Sendai Girls but will keep close attention to DDT in the meantime. She wants to get her title match whenever the opportunity is most attractive to her.

Daisuke Sasaki came to a decision over what kind of match HARASHIMA and Soma Takao will have for the DDT Extreme Title. It’s a match where chairshots and low blows don’t matter. It will be a 3 Way Match with himself included! HARASHIMA realised he will be in a 2-on-1 Handicap then wondered is Sasaki was still injured. Sasaki admitted he was never injured! He took that back when Yukio Sakaguchi threatened him. HARASHIMA accepted the match idea and promised the fans he will definitely win.

The AbemaTV audience got to decide the rules for Danshoku Dieno Vs Tanomusaku Toba. The choices included Normal Rules, Pinfall Only and KO Only but the viewers overwhelmingly chose the last option, Kiss Only. Pins and submissions would only count if the wrestler kissed the opponent in the process. Toba told everyone that he got married in February and he now has stepchildren. His 6th grade stepdaughter accepted him but his 1st grade stepson Yuto refuses to call him Dad. Toba wanted to beat Dieno to earn Yuto’s adoration. He hesitated to follow the Kiss Only rule but he had to do what he had to do. Unfortunately Dieno gave his own Lip Lock to Toba, hit an Exploder Suplex and won the match with the True Danshoku Driver. Dieno used his screen time after the match to speak to Yuto on the stream. Dieno said Toba is not even close to being a great person and he likes to visit Chinese salons to pass the time. But no matter how beaten up he gets, he always stands back up through clenched teeth even though he doesn’t have many teeth left. Toba promised he will make Yuto proud somehow. Dieno gave Toba another Lip Lock and he fell down, exposing his ass to the camera.

Makoto Oishi lived up to last week’s ruling and had his head shaved into a Reverse Mohawk. He defended the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title against Yoshihiko in a hard fought battle that ended in defeat. Oishi gave Yoshihiko a Turnbuckle Bomb then he climbed the turnbuckles for Corner Punches. Yoshihiko grabbed Oishi and Power Bombed him into the centre of the ring. It then hit the Resurrection for the three count to become the champion. Oishi swore revenge. At least on the bright side his new wife Misaki Ohata likes the hairstyle.

Shunma Katsumata says he is already feeling great after a week working out in Gold’s Gym. Konosuke Takeshita noticed Katsumata was more confident today and that added a sense of security surrounding their team.

The show began with a new commercial for the Suntory drink Jasmine Tea starring Kota Ibushi and Yuki Ueno. In the ad Ueno plays a salaryman who experiences a refreshing sensation from drinking Jasmine Tea that is represented by Ibushi giving him different wrestling moves.

For almost 30 minutes both Konosuke Takeshita and Antonio Honda fought their hearts out in front of the Osaka crowd. The main event was a Happy Motels reunion with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and Yasu Urano accompanying Honda to the ring while Takeshita came out to the Happy Motels entrance theme. Honda acted sentimental when he did his “Gon, The Little Fox” spot, telling Takeshita and the others that if this becomes his last match he does not want it to end. Honda then poked Takeshita in the eyes and hit a Topé Suicida after Takeshita rolled out of the ring to recover. Honda threw many punches and Bionic Elbows to combat against Takeshita’s Lariats. When Takeshita countered a Sleeper Hold into a Blue Thunder Bomb 25 minutes in the match it was clear that both were tired. They narrowly avoided a double countout and continued hitting their big moves until the match devolved into duelling Bionic Elbows. The ended in another double knockdown with Yukinori Matsui beginning to count both of them out again. Takeshita made it to his feet in time but Honda couldn’t. That was enough for Matsui to end the match and declare Takeshita the winner by KO. After the match Takeshita talked about going to see his brother’s high school soccer game earlier in the day. It made him think about his own high school days and he realised he spent all of his time outside of school with wrestlers like Honda, Urano and Hiroshi. That time of his life was a happy won because he was wrestling in Happy Motels. There was only one thing about it he didn’t like and that was never getting the chance to wrestle a meaningful match with Honda. He got that today. Honda thanked Takeshita for the match and said he was glad to wrestle him for 30 minutes today.

Shigehiro Irie Vs Magnitude Kishiwada immediately started with a ringside brawl. Kishiwada attacked Irie with a chair, targeting Irie’s arms whenever he could. Kishiwada continued the heavy attacks by doing the Last Ride and the Diving Body Press plus more chairshots. Irie fought back with a Death Valley Bomb as well as Beast Bombers to counter Kishiwada’s Lariats. The Beast Bombers as well as the Cannonball Drop wore down Kishiwada until one more Beast Bomber kept him down for the three count. After the match Irie said he wanted to become a pro wrestler after watching figures like Kishiwada and Kengo Takai compete all over Osaka. Irie not only achieved his dream but he is also now the KO-D Openweight Champion. However, Irie is still not satisfied. There are still many things he must learn to become stronger and stronger. Irie asked Kishiwada to plese fight him again some day. Kishiwada told him they had a good match today and he shook his hand. He then told Irie to defend the KO-D Title many times so he can become Osaka’s strongest wrestler!

Kikutaro, Kuishinbo Kamen and Super Sasadango Machine all found ways to get Matsui involved in their match. Sasadango had Kamen pinned after a Diving Knee Drop but Kikutaro grabbed Sasadango’s leg and applied a Crab Hold to make him submit.

Naomi Yoshimura said he experienced a similar feeling from wrestling Dick Togo to the one he got when he wrestled Akebono.

The usual unmasking tricks by Hiratimo Dragon made Yuni cry when he was disqualified for it. Makoto Oishi tried to cheer him up but it was a trap! Yuni caught him in a Small Package and pinned him to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Later at the end of the show Saki Akai encouraged Yuni to join her in the ring to say goodbye to the fans. That too was a trap for Akai to win the belt from Yuni. Oishi came back out, pinned Akai to take back the title and ran off. The show then closed with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi singing to the audience.

Turns out Akito’s recovery time was a short one. He was back in action competing in the opener and even got the winning pinfall. He made fun of Shunma Katsumata for only signing up for the standard membership at Gold’s Gym instead of the Master membership. While Katsumata is preparing to go after the KO-D Tag Team Titles, Akito personally wants to challenge for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles.

Matsui wanted to give out the opening announcements but Hisaya Imabayashi wouldn’t let him. Yuki Iino was ordered to hold Matsui back in the corner while Imabayashi finished the segment.

By day the Tokyo Toshimaen is an amusement park full of fun and games. But at night it transforms into a secret battlefield designed to train warriors. Today DDT made use of the park to determine Japan’s national team for the Fighting World Cup, a mysterious global competition that is held every four years. Teams made up of two men and one woman would fight each other in battles to the death throughout the night. Danshoku Dieno arrived at the park with his selection of troops: Raiden (Choun-Shiryu), Makoto Oishi, Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata, Cherry and Cassandra Miyagi. It didn’t take long for their first set of opponents to appear.

The first bout was Oishi, Raiden & Miyagi against HARASHIMA, Gota Ihashi & Makoto. When the girls fought each other Makoto would intentionally use moves on Cassandra that allowed her to do sexy poses in the process. Cassandra then challenged Makoto to a race. She would sit on a cart pushed by Raiden while Makoto found a bike to cycle on. Makoto won. HARASHIMA appeared with traffic cones over his arms that he used to Lariat his opponents. He ran from a long distance over to Oishi to give him the Somato but Oishi moved out of the way. HARASHIMA hit Ihashi instead by accident and Oishi pinned Ihashi to win the match. Dieno’s group past their first trial but not without casualties. Both Raiden and Miyagi died from their injuries after the match.

Dieno’s group advanced to the plaza. Waiting for them were Mike Bailey, MAO & Tsukasa Fujimoto all standing in hero poses. Dieno sent Takeshita, Katsumata & Cherry to fight them. Bailey and Katsumata fought their way over to a pond allegedly filled with sulphuric acid. Katsumata fell into it when he missed a flying kick and was never seen again. The fighting moved back towards the plaza stage where Takeshita found himself in a 3 on 1 situation. However he was able to fight against the odds and he pinned MAO with a Veritcal Drop Brainbuster. Again the damage dealt to Dieno’s side during the battle proved to be too much and Takeshita collapsed. His final words to his friends before losing consciousness were “Muscle is justice!”

There was no time to mourn because Kazusada Higuchi, Tanomusaku Toba & Misaki Ohata were next to challenge our heroes. Dieno began to panic because there were no more women left on his team to fight for him. The cavalry of Yukio Sakaguchi, Masahiro Takanashi & Saki Akai arrived in a truck just in time to fight Higuchi, Toba & Ohata. The battle was horrific to see as the savage warriors took to the rides and had the time of their lives… Anyway when they were done sampling the fun of the park they went back to fighting. Takanashi lured Higuchi and Toba onto the truck’s loading platform and ordered Sakaguchi to raise it. Sakaguchi did so and the fighters slid off as the platform tilted over. Akai climbed the truck and dove onto everyone below. She stayed on top of both Higuchi and Toba to pin them.

The dust settled but Sakaguchi didn’t. In a rage of bloodlust, Sakaguchi grabbed a sledgehammer and threatened to kill Ohata with it. Suddenly Makoto Oishi stepped in between them. He pleaded with Sakaguchi to spare her because they are dating! Oishi then turned to Ohata and placed a metal nut on her finger. “Misaki-san, please marry me!” Ohata punched Oishi. Sakaguchi got back into the truck and drove towards Ohata but Oishi jumped in front of the truck! “I’m dying! I love you! I will make you happy!” were Oishi’s words to Ohata afterwards. Ohata accepted Oishi’s proposal and they got on the truck to go get married!

Back to the death battles. Akai decided to stay and help Dieno’s team but an arrow from out of nowhere struck her in the head and killed her. Once again Dieno was without enough warriors to continue until King Otono (Choun-Shiryu again) and Space Warrior Galaxy Sophia (Cherry) appeared along with a revived Takeshita. They approached the park square where they found DAMNATION hanging out. Daisuke Sasaki was making out with Asuka while the others were just minding their own business until they saw Dieno’s team stepping into their territory. Tetsuya Endo, Mad Paulie & Asuka decided to fight them while Dieno, Sasaki and Soma Takao went over to enjoy a rollercoaster. Paulie perched himself on a bench so both Endo and Asuka could do Moonsaults off of him until Takeshita hit him with a Knee Strike. Takeshita then put Paulie through a table with a Diving Body Press from a Ladder. That ended the match but the damage took its toll again. Takeshita was left clutching his knee while screaming “Muscle is justice!” over to Dieno.

And so Dieno approached the final area for one more battle but he was alone. All of his friends and allies were either slain or on their honeymoon. Luckily for him Isami Kodaka appeared with a resurrected Cassandra Miyagi. Both were willing to help Dieno so they could take part in an exciting battle. Waiting for them were Sanshiro Takagi & Ippanjin Munenori Sawa. Behind them was the massive Flying Pirate ride and standing right there inside it was Meiko Satomura. The two sides fought until Kodaka asked if he could go on the Flying Pirate ride. They all agreed and went on the ride. Some of them felt sick after the ride but were encouraged by the crowd to go on it a second time. This is why the match lasted half an hour!

They eventually got back to fighting. Takagi, Sawa & Satomura climbed a bench to attempt the Sendai Golden Shower but Miyagi cut them off. Dieno positioned himself for the Hell Gate and Miyagi threw both Takagi and Sawa into it. She tried to do the same to Satomura but it was countered and Satomura threw Miyagi into Dieno’s backside. Kodaka climbed a ladder and hit the Giga Ladder Break Diving Double Knee Drop on Takagi. The wrestlers found a merry-go-round and went for a ride on that. They had a lot more fun on that than on the Flying Pirate ship. When they got off Takagi gave Dieno the Stunner, Sawa gave Dieno the Shining Wizard and Satomura gave Dieno the Scorpio Rising for the three count.

The challenge is over and Japan’s team has been decided. Team Hentai Sendai Big Boss are Japan’s strongest warriors! A signboard used as a symbol of real power was given to them but suddenly Satomura attacked Takagi & Sawa! She takes the signboard from them and calls the other women to join her side. Toshimaen belongs to them! Dieno collapsed in shock as the show was completed.

Satomura said she had fun doing street wrestling for the first time. It was dangerous but she enjoyed it and learned how any location can become a battlefield. She wants to fight in DDT and appear on AbemaTV more, it doesn’t matter if it to wrestle against men or women. Hisaya Imabayashi heard her and came up with an idea. He invited her to the 29th May episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” so she can compete in the Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Rumble. Satomura agreed. She later expressed interest in also having a match against Isami Kodaka.

-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Makoto Oishi defeated Maki Itoh (c) after a Big Boot from Saki Akai (8:40 pm).
*Makoto Oishi becomes the 1,311th champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Makoto Oishi (c) defeated Yoshihiko by Kickout (8:41 pm).
*V1 for Makoto Oishi.
6. Daisuke Sekimoto & Kazusada Higuchi (c) defeated Mike Bailey & MAO when Sekimoto pinned Bailey with a Lariat (17:07).

The main event match had to be changed because of Yuki Ueno’s injury. With him missing the show, he and Kota Umeda were no longer able to challenge for the KO-D Tag Team Titles so the match was cancelled entirely. Instead Daisuke Sekimoto & Kazusada Higuchi were given a non-title match against Mike Bailey & MAO. A table was taken from the stage and brought into the ring. Bailey went to do the Ultima Weapon to Higuchi on the table but Higuchi moved out of the way. Higuchi kept MAO away while Sekimoto went to finish off Bailey. The German Suplex was kicked out of but Sekimoto won the match with a Lariat afterwards. Higuchi told Bailey & MAO that he and Sekimoto will always be ready to defend the Tag Titles against anyone. Hisaya Imabayashi told the champions that their next defence is scheduled to 5th June. They asked for challengers and ALL OUT appeared. Higuchi approved of getting to fight Konosuke Takeshita but he doesn’t think Shunma Katsumata is qualified enough to be in the match. Katsumata said he knows the strategy to beat the champions but Takeshita cut him off and said he needed muscles too. He told Katsumata to go get a Gold’s Gym membership and spend the next two weeks working out so he can be ready for the title match.

Soma Takao again gave HARASHIMA a Low Blow during their match. Masahiro Takanashi almost had Takao pinned but Takao countered it into the Gin And Tonic to get DAMNATION the win. HARASHIMA challenged Takao to another singles match but Takao refused to say anything. Daisuke Sasaki spoke on his behalf and told HARASHIMA he already lost to Takao. He then went down on his hands and knees and mockingly asked HARASHIMA for forgiveness. Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie stopped Sasaki and picked him back up. HARASHIMA sweetened the deal by putting the DDT Extreme Title on the line. Takao still kept quiet so HARASHIMA said he would even let him pick the match stipulation. If it involves chairshots and low blows then HARASHIMA will be more than happy to beat him that way. Takao continued to be mute but Sasaki accepted the offer. He promised Takao that he will pick the best rules for DAMNATION.

As part of last week’s stipulation, Makoto Oishi had to change his hair to the perm hairstyle. Danshoku Dieno joked that Oishi was now Punch Oishi. He was kind of proven right when a hard punch from Oishi to Kouki Iwasaki was the set up to Oishi winning the match. Oishi thanked everyone for seeing his perm hairstyle for the first and last time. However he was then told that AbemaTV held another viewer vote during the match. The choices were either keep the perm, get a reverse mohawk, shave his head or shave his eyebrows. The fans voted and next week Oishi has to get a reverse mohawk!

When ALL OUT faced Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase, Katsumata recovered from a Double Stomp Fire Thunder combo thanks to Takeshita breaking the pin. Katsumata stunned Watase with a Thrust Kick then used a Swan Dive X Factor to get him in position for a new finisher. The Moonsault Foot Stomp got ALL OUT a big win and in part sets up their KO-D Tag Title shot.

The “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” return of the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title brought along the usual mayhem surrounding the belt. The defending champion Saki Akai started off the Rumble with Maki Itoh but she was quickly pinned by the third entrant Nobuhiro Shimatani. He brought in a chair to defend himself but Antonio Honda, Maki Itoh and Toru Owashi all piled up on top of him for the three count. Since the chair was being pressed down on Shimatani during the pin, Yukinori Matsui ruled that the Chair was now the champion! The eliminations continued until Honda and the Chair were the last two left. Honda hit the Chair with a Bionic Elbow and pinned it to win the title. Shimatani attacked Honda with the chair after the match and the guest commentator Kumiko Funayama tried but failed to pin Honda. Itoh then snuck up on Honda and won the belt with a School Boy. An hour later Shimatani chased Itoh back into the ring with the chair. Akai came over too and kicked Itoh with a Big Boot. That was when Oishi showed up and stole the pin. His celebration stopped when the room went dark. The lights came on and Yoshihiko was perched on Oishi’s shoulders! Yoshihiko gave Oishi a DDT but Oishi’s perm cushioned the blow and he was able to kick out of the pin. He grabbed Yoshihiko by the neck and told it that they will fight for the Iron Man Title next week!

The changes in the main event meant that Bailey and Umeda changed places. Umeda was moved to a singles match against Jason Kincaid.

6. Special Single Match: Soma Takao defeated HARASHIMA with the Gin And Tonic (8:41).
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Shigehiro Irie (c) defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Beast Bomber (18:25).
*V1 for Shigehiro Irie.

Years of friendship were cast aside all in the name of glory as Shigehiro Irie defended the KO-D Openweight Title against Keisuke Ishii. Both dealt big damage early with Ishii giving Irie a Neckbreaker onto the apron and later Irie Power Bombed Ishii onto the same spot. Irie took the Kneel Kick and kicked out of an Exploder Suplex. He gained control of the match with an Avalanche Death Valley Driver and got a nearfall with the Cannonball Drop. Ishii had a glimmer of hope left with a Hurricanrana but Irie hit back with the Beast Bomber to win. Irie wanted to shake Ishii’s hand after the match but Ishii refused. The next KO-D Title defence will take place on 24th June. The challenger will be determined on 29th May at the return of the Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Rumble! The winner of the match gets the 29/5 title shot but there will also be other Right To Challenge prizes on the line too. Irie said he will defend the title anytime, he doesn’t care where or against who. His goal as champion is to defend the KO-D Title around the world in order to create a new scenery for DDT.

A new costume marked Soma Takao’s turn to DAMNATION complete. More than that, constant cheating helped him beat HARASHIMA. A distraction from Tetsuya Endo allowed Takao to Low Blow his opponent. Takao was about to be pinned with a Hurricane Driver when Daisuke Sasaki pulled the referee away. A turnbuckle pad was removed and HARASHIMA collided with the exposed metal. Takao then struck him with a chair and pinned him with the Gin And Tonic.

When the match was over, Sasaki told everyone that Takao achieved a perfect victory over HARASHIMA. Takao didn’t respond and stayed quiet. Sasaki then mockingly asked HARASHIMA to apologise to his fans for losing. Endo pretended to speak for him. All of DAMNATION ganged up on HARASHIMA until suddenly Shuten-dōji came to the rescue! They chased DAMNATION out of the ring and each of them shook HARASHIMA’s hand. Is this the start of a new alliance against DAMNATION?

Makoto Oishi wasn’t joking when he said he wanted a new generation of DDT wrestlers to replace the current generation. He made Nobuhiro Shimatani dress up like Danshoku Dieno, Daiki Shimomura dress up like Antonio Honda and Yuki Iino dress up like Super Sasadango Machine. They weren’t quite perfect copies. Iino had a PowerPoem to read instead of a PowerPoint presentation. However he wanted to review it by himself so he didn’t get involved in the match until late into it when Oishi ordered him to help. Iino entered the ring and Speared Oishi by accident. Dieno then pinned Oishi with the Gay-do Clutch. After the match Honda said his team were still mentally and physically energetic even though they were all over forty. Honda fainted from exhaustion before he could finish his sentence. Everyone else congratulated Dieno for turning 41 two days earlier.

Konosuke Takeshita pulled out the Turnbuckle Brainbuster to beat Shunma Katsumata. He wanted this match to motivate Katsumata. Part of that is to make Katsumata face his criticisms. He is a pro wrestler and pro wrestlers should not have to worry about criticism according to Takeshita. Katsumata also learned more about himself. He always pretended to be a nice little boy and he never knew what he was fighting for. Now he understands what to do and he hopes not to disappoint the rest of ALL OUT from now on.

Kicks from Kota Umeda and Lariats from Kazuzada Higuchi took such a toll on each other that both were left down for the count at the same time, resulting in a draw. Higuchi offered a handshake afterwards but Umeda kicked his hand away.

A left foot injury took Yuki Ueno out of the 4 Way Tag Match. DDT was still searching for a replacement when they found Shota working in the venue as part of the staff. Shota declined at first but took the spot when the audience chanted his name. He ended up losing the match to DAMNATION.

All three of the Dragon wrestlers unmasked themselves and successfully framed KUDO to win the match by DQ. Hiratimo Dragon is being coy about how many -timo Dragon wrestlers there are. Maybe there are more, maybe there aren’t.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga beat Rekka again. This time he blocked a cradle pin and pushed all his weight down on Rekka to get the three count.

This year’s Beer Garden week will be held in Shinjuku FACE from 30th July to 5th August. Tokyo Joshi Pro and BASARA will have their own produce days during the series. Also the King Of DDT 1st Round will be held on 31st July as part of the festivities. This year’s tournament is the largest ever with 32 wrestlers competing for a 1,000,000 yen prize.

The new DDT mascot that was introduced back in April has been named Doradori-kun.

The big news happening in DDT this week is Soma Takao breaking up the remains of Smile Squash so he can join with DAMNATION. This was a plan that had been brewing in the background for a long time and Takao isn’t just joining the unit to be another one of Dasuke Sasaki’s pets. Maybe by teaming with Tetsuya Endo, Takao can make Endo focus more. Endo seems to be more interested in showing off his pet beetle than wrestling his best lately.

Kouki Iwasaki was supposed to be wrestling this weekend but had to pull out due to acute gastroenteritis. In other words he has diarrhoea.

6. Special Single Match: HARASHIMA Vs Soma Takao
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Shigehiro Irie (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii

HARASHIMA gets his shot at revenge on Takao. But with Smile Squash pretty much done for, the numbers game is way against him now.

Kazusada Higuchi already defeated one half of the tag team No. 1 Contenders. Now he’s facing the other. Higuchi and Kota Umeda had a lot of battles against each other in the early years of DNA. It’s time to reginite that feud!

Makoto Oishi thinks the time for change has come. For too long DDT was built around men like Danshoku Dieno, Antonio Honda and Super Sasadango Machine. Oishi has found the next generation of wrestlers to take their place: Nobuhiro Shimatani, Daiki Shimomura, Yuki Iino and lastly of course himself. The two sides will battle for the future of DDT! At least that’s what Oishi wants to think.

We have another Lucha Libre superstar joining the ranks. Rihotimo Dragon makes her debut.

Yuki Iino is making up for lost time by picking Umeda for his first match back.

Choun-Shiryu & Rekka have put aside their differences and are now strong allies again. Shiryu is confident that Rekka has what it takes to take part in New Beijing Pro Wrestling. China’s oldest wrestling promotion doesn’t want to be overshadowed by that fancy new stuff.

6. Maji Manji Big Three Single Match: HARASHIMA defeated Tetsuya Endo by Disqualification when Mad Paulie attacked HARASHIMA (4:15).
7. Kota Umeda “Mad Dog” 7 Match Series – 2nd Match ~ Hardcore Match: Ryuji Ito defeated Kota Umeda with the Dragon Splash (11:05).

Kota Umeda’s journey of challenges entered it’s second phase with a Hardcore Match against the “Death Match Dragon” Ryuji Ito. Umeda was hit with chairs and a barbed wire baseball bat. However he got to return the favour by jumping off a ladder and splashing Ito through a table. Ito dodged the Penalty Kick and stunned Umeda with the Dragon Kick. A Superplex onto a pile of chairs got Ito a nearfall. Umeda couldn’t recover and was pinned with the Dragon Splash. Umeda learned after the match that his next opponent as part of his trial is Masato Tanaka! When the surprise of that announcement went away, Kazusada Higuchi challenged Umeda to a singles match at the 20th May Korakuen Hall show.

The match between HARASHIMA and Tetsuya Endo ended with Mad Paulie attacking HARASHIMA. Daisuke Sasaki entered the ring but needed a cane to move around because of his injury. He swung it at HARASHIMA but he ducked and Paulie took the blow. Soma Takao ran out to rescue HARASHIMA with a chair in hand. Takao was ready to attack when he turned around and hit HARASHIMA instead! Soma gave him the Gin And Tonic then removed his Smile Squash shirt to reveal a red lettered DAMNATION shirt underneath! Sasaki told everyone the big news. Soma Takao is DAMNATION’s fifth man! Takao told Sasaki he is not his pet. Takao was sick of HARASHIMA being selfish and this turn had been in the works for a long time.

A viewer poll determined the stipulation for Danshoku Dieno Vs Makoto Oishi. The loser would have to either get hit in the butt with a baseball bat, kiss Hisaya Imabayashi or get their hair styled into a perm. The AbemaTV audience chose the Perm option. Dieno won the match and asked Oishi to help him search for like minded souls. However Oishi has other plans. He thinks guys like Dieno, Antonio Honda and Super Sasadango Machine are now too old for DDT and it’s time for a new generation of wrestlers to replace them. Oishi will look for two young wrestlers to team with so they can destroy Dieno, Honda & Sasadango on 20th May.

Keisuke Ishii’s plan of targeting Shigehiro Irie’s right knee is working perfectly so far. Ishii won another match over Irie today. He said that exploiting Irie’s weakness has made him become more confident. Irie on the other hand is getting more and more furious over the situation. Over on the other end Shunma Katsumata is beginning to figure out what his own problem is. He reckons his heart is weak. Konosuke Takeshita agreed and told him that he has guts but that is different from having heart. His advice to Katsumata is not to be afraid of criticism or of getting beaten up more.

It looked like Yuki Ueno got the better of Higuchi when they brawled outside the ring. Ueno placed Higuchi on a table but by the time he got back into the ring and climbed the turnbuckle Higuchi sat back up, gave Ueno a look and got off the table. Ueno almost got lucky when he countered the Doctor Bomb into a Hurricanrana but Higuchi recovered and hit the Doctor Bomb properly for the win.

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title was defended on “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” for the first time. Saki Akai went into the Battle Royal as the champion but the belt went to Masahiro Takanashi then Gorgeous Matsuno and ended with Nobuhiro Shimatani. When he walked up the ramp to leave he was attacked and Body Slammed by Sanshiro Takagi. The guest commentator Reina Fujie covered him but he kicked out, which counts as a successful title defence. Akai then kicked Shimatani in the face and pinned him to win back the title. Akai said her goal is to make the Iron Man Title recognisable around the world.

6. Shigehiro Irie, Mizuki Watase & Jason Kincaid defeated Keisuke Ishii, Kota Umeda & Antonio Honda when Irie pinned Honda with the Beast Bomber (13:13).

Shigehiro Irie and Keisuke Ishii tried to fight each other after the main event but they were kept apart.

The hometown hero Makoto Oishi did his best but wasn’t able to beat Konosuke Takeshita. The Jikiden Tornado Clutch was kicked out of and Oishi was put away with the Surprise Rose.

HARASHIMA said it was nice to remember how intense KUDO’s Backspin Kick is. Masahiro Takanashi pushed for KUDO to win the DDT Extreme Title. He told everyone that last night KUDO went out drinking in the rain wearing a T-shirt. That’s how extreme he is! And the Extreme Title should only belong to the most extreme wrestler.

Hiratimo Dragon’s mask accidentally slipped off when he escaped from the Danshoku Driver and the mask got caught against Danshoku Dieno’s tights. That was still enough for the referee to disqualify Dieno.
