The hosts of the tournament IRON PRIEST won their match against the Sportiva Combination. FUMA thinks he and Yusuke Kubo will effortlessly win the tournament. Hiroshi du Soleil went through over Daichi Kazato & Tomoya Kawamura. The result continues SAGAT’s recovery from his current slump. Finally Cavalry defeated Gouma Ryu & Masamune when an Masamune swung Gouma’s lawbook at Ryuichi Sekine but hit Gouma instead.

The semi-final matches on 29th October are Hiroshi du Soleil Vs IRON PRIEST and Cavalry Vs Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto. The final takes place on the same show. Ken Ohka is feeling flustered after the Korakuen Hall seating chart for this show appeared on screen during Sunday’s DDT show revealing many unsold tickets. Ohka said Amon Tsurumi put that on the screen without his permission. Ohka has promised to retire if the show doesn’t sell out. Not only that but a lot of money was borrowed to put this show together. If that isn’t bad enough their T-shirt design for the occasion hasn’t been completed yet and the DVD team are too busy putting together a Ganbare Vs Tomodachi-gun release so they can’t immediately work on editing the Korakuen show as soon as it ends. Also Yumehito Imanari wants to put his match with Viper on the DVD even though that has nothing to do with the Tomodachi-gun feud.

During that time she will finish her junior high school term and then prepare for her high school entrance exam. She is expected to return next spring, either March or April.

Secondly, Yuka Sakazaki will also take a leave of absence from Tokyo Joshi. Due to her recent performances she decided to travel to Magic Country and begin warrior training to become stronger. It is unknown how long this will take. In the meantime Yuka is sending her previously unacknowledged twin sister from Magic Country to take her place in Tokyo Joshi. Yuka’s sister is a masked luchadora named Mil Clown. She cannot speak any human language so she carries a teddy bear called Kumaun to talk on her behalf.

2. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 1B: Koji Iwamoto & Fuminori Abe Vs FUMA & Yusuke Kubo

4. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 1D: Shinjiro Otani & Sean Guinness Vs Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto

Another month another tournament for BASARA. This time FUMA came up with an idea to do a tag team league to prove IRON PRIEST’s dominance. But in order to fit in the schedule the tournament will be a playoff instead. It is called the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT in tribute to the Motorhead song and FUMA keeps calling it a Rock Festival instead of a Tag Tournament. Joining the tournament are teams representing BASARA’s units, Sportiva Entertainment and ZERO1. FUMA decided only he and Yusuke Kubo will be there flying the IRON PRIEST flag. He thinks they won’t need Madoka to help them. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT are back together. Hiroshi is confident in his own abilities but worries the burden is too much for SAGAT to bear. Surprisingly Gouma Ryu was able to convince Masamune to team with him. Apparently Masamune would have teamed with Isami Kodaka but Kodaka picked Takumi Tsukamoto instead.

The ZERO1 team are Shinjiro Otani and Irish wrestler Sean Guinness. Ryu believes some sort of illegal activity has led to team entering the tournament and if his team ends up fighting them in the semi final he will bring them to court to get any sort of advantage over them.

6. Fluorescent Light IPPON Grand Prix – Final: Akito defeated Isami Kodaka by IPPON (12:28).

Drunkers Kingdom ended with the Fluorescent Light IPPON Grand Prix. Every match in the tournament had a single lighttube attached to the ropes. The goal was to use your opponent to break the lighttube by either throwing him through it, smashing him with it or slamming him onto it. Isami Kodaka defeated Takumi Tsukamoto by using a Samson Clutch to roll him onto the lighttube and break it. Akito, the wrestler who came up with the rules for the tournament, beat Yuko Miyamoto. Miyamoto narrowly avoided being slammed onto the lighttube by forming a bridge over it but Akito then Double Stomped him onto the tube. Akito went on to win the Grand Prix by dropping Kodaka with the Hanamasa onto the lighttube. Akito was given a trophy with IPPON written on it. He celebrated by using the trophy to drink beer. Kodaka said he wants the Grand Prix to be an annual event.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi wore a Judo uniform to go along with Mike Bailey’s Taekwondo outfit.

Hyper Misao said her job of protecting Shin-Kiba has become more difficult because of all the Pokémon that have recently appeared in the area. She said her phone detected a high level Pikachu backstage but that was just to distract Yuka Sakazaki so Shoko Nakajima would have to wrestle against two people on her own. Sakazaki eventually came back to aid her partner when she couldn’t find the Pikachu.

Hiroshi came back out for the second contest of the evening, the Arm Wrestling Challenge. He yelled at the booing fans to shut up and respect him. He challenged anyone to come out but knew they were all chickens. Sirens blared throughout ringside and out came Kazushi Steiner! Hiroshi suddenly came up with an excuse that he had gout and was unable to take pary. Steiner forced him to take part and then he beat Hiroshi in the Arm Wrestling Match. Suddenly TAKA Nanbei & RENAKI came out. TAKA said they were going to kick their ass. RENAKI said “Indeed”. sakabash7

“The Rising Sun” then blasted out of the music system to mark the entrance of Chinsuke Nakamura! He hit everyone with the Kinshasa while yelling “Iyaao!” Shimataniel Bryan was #18 and once again led “Yes!” chants.

sakabash8

That was cut short when the lights went out and the room went dark. When the lights came back on there was Nerima Sting! He attacked everybody in the ring with his baseball bat except for Hiroshi. He shook Hiroshi’s hand and left the ring so Hiroshi could pick up the pieces.

sakabash9

Taker and Chinsuke were eliminated but Cena skinned the cat. Hiroshi was still able to eliminate Cena afterwards but forgot about Bryan! Hiroshi was in the middle of celebrating when Bryan threw him out of the ring to win the Royal Rumble!

5. Special Single Match: Isami Kodaka defeated Mike Bailey with the Isamuashi Zan (15:35).

Speedball has arrived in Japan but Isami Kodaka was there and ready for him. Mike Bailey won over the crowd with his abilities but in the end couldn’t beat Kodaka. Bailey hit the Cancun Tornado, the Fosbury Flop and the Moonsault Knee Press but Kodaka fired back outside the ring with a Diving Double Knee Drop from the bleachers. Bailey came back with an Asai DDT but missed the Shooting Star Double Knee Drop afterwards. Isami went for a pin after a Vertical Drop Brainbuster but Bailey kicked out at one! Kodaka hit the Zeyyari but Bailey hit back with a High Kick to show he still had life left. Kodaka regained control with a low angle German Suplex and knocked Bailey down for the count with the Isamuashi Zan. Kodaka said he had only previously seen Bailey in videos but he was amazing in his first match in Japan. Bailey thanked Kodaka for the match and then thanked the fans for the warm welcome. They then held a toast together to end the show.

All of Shuten-dōji were in attendance for the group’s match against wrestlers from BASARA. KUDO was in his group’s corner for the match. Afterwards Shuten-dōji promoted their show for Beer Garden next month and KUDO reminded everyone of his return at Sumo Hall.

4. TLC Match: FUMA defeated Takumi Tsukamoto with the Heavy Metal Anthem (13:35).

6. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Ryuichi Sekine with the Perfect Plex (15:12).

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s claim of being the best wrestler, “foriegn” or otherwise in BASARA stays intact with a win over Ryuichi Sekine. Hiroshi mentioned this was his fifth singles match with Sekine and his first victory against him.

Kengo Mashimo had to be held back from Isami Kodaka after their tag match. Mashimo yelled that it wasn’t over between them two. Kodaka said he was holding the 2nd ever Shinjuku Strongest Ground Budokai tournament on 28th September and he wants Mashimo to enter. Mashimo considered but when he found out Daisuke Sekimoto and Yasu Urano were also entering he accepted the invitation.

The feud between Tsukasaga Army and the Kotetsu Gundan came to a conclusion with two different hardcore matches. Kotetsu Gundan came out on top of both bouts to definitively win the feud. In the Chain Match Yusuke Kubo choked out SAGAT with the chain, forcing the referee to call for the bell. Although the unit feud is over, the rivalry between these two may return in the future. FUMA then defeated Takumi Tsukamoto in a TLC Match. Tsukamoto admitted defeat and called FUMA a strong wrestler even if his heavy metal antics get in the way. FUMA then began to ramble on about instrumental songs and how they emit a melody of sorrow without the need for words. He offered a truce to Tsukamoto. Together they can be comrades united by hearts made out of the same steel. Tsukamoto called himself the Ballad Fighter and gave the heavy metal hand sign. Backstage, Tsukamoto and Kubo announced the official name of their unit. Gone is Kotetsu Gundan, now they are IRON PRIEST!

6. Ryuichi Sekine Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi

In his quest to become the BASARA ace, Ryuichi Sekine refuses to accept Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi as the true winner of Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~. Hiroshi thinks Sekine is just jealous that the greatest “foreign” wrestler in the company won the tournament.

SAGAT demanded his match with Yusuke Kubo to be a Chain Match. The reason for this is important. SAGAT often used a chain on his enemies back when he was part of the King Legion stable in Union. The same stable FUMA was the leader of.
