2. Turnabout Pro Wrestling Trial: Yasu Urano defeated Gouma Ryu and Banana Senga when Urano pinned Ryu with a School Boy (0:10).
3. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 2: Takumi Tsukamoto & SAGAT defeated Lil’ Kraken & Leo Isaka when SAGAT pinned Isaka with the Goregrind (12:50).
4. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Round 2: Ryota Nakatsu & Kazusada Higuchi defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato when Higuchi pinned Kazato (14:58).
5. FUMA Vs Isami Kodaka ended in a Double Knockout (12:29).
The original main event featuring a Union MAX Title defence was cancelled because of Daiki Shimomura’s suspension. Instead FUMA took on Isami Kodaka in a non-title match that was put together on short notice. The match ended in a Double KO when both wrestlers hit their big attacks on each other and neither was able to get back up during the 10 Count. After the match FUMA said he was happy to fight Kodaka and since nobody won he wants to do a rematch at Korakuen Hall on 3rd December, this time with the MAX Title on the line. FUMA wants to become the ace of BASARA and he thinks he needs to beat Kodaka in BASARA’s biggest match to make that dream come true.
The IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT is now down to three teams. Takumi Tsukamoto & SAGAT have reached the final thanks to a bye. They will face the winners of Ryota Nakatsu & Kazusada Higuchi Vs Yasu Urano & Antonio Honda. Both matches take place on 7th November. It was confirmed that Shimomura & Minoru Fujita have vacated the IRON FIST Tag Team Titles and the belts will be awarded to the winners of the tournament.
Nakatsu & Higuchi were accompanied by the rest of Harimao for their match. Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida stood by their corner in support.
Gouma Ryu did not feel it was appropriate to have a pro wrestling trial on this show. Banana Senga objected because he did not want to be paid just to do nothing. Urano, who was supposed to be the defendant on trial told Ryu it was important to show the fans that BASARA was running their show as usual with everyone doing their best. They all agreed to do a 3 Way Match and Urano immediately pinned Ryu with a School Boy to win. Ryu promised to do a proper pro wrestling trial the next time.
At the start of the show Kodaka and the rest of the BASARA roster all apologized over the private incident that led to Shimomura’s year long suspension. Kodaka told reporters after the show that the event was saved by the fans and their support.

Before Yamashita travelled to America she learned who her first challenger for the Princess Of Princess Title will be at the end of this month. Regina is an 8 year veteran from Tuusula, Finland who wrestles for FCF over there. She is 166cm tall and weighs 105kg. Yamashita said she wants to be careful fighting her, especially when she found out Regina is the FCF Finnish Heavyweight Champion and has defeated larger male wrestlers in her reign. This will be their only match together on Regina’s tour of TJPW because Yamashita is in America during her other appearances. All Yamashita can do to prepare is to find videos of Regina’s matches to watch while she is away.
Free WiFi have only just won the Princess Tag Team Titles so they intend not to lose them easily. Their first challengers are Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano. The two of them now have a new team name: Shinken Kusho! In order to prepare for this match Nao Kakuta has done two things. She is starting to make meals in a rice cooker like Miyamoto often does. She also bought the latest FRIDAY magazine because Nagano is in the issue as the centerfold. Hikari Noa asked Nagano to write her new team name on her page in the magazine. Kakuta thinks Free WiFi is the cooler name.

Last year saw the return of DDT’s annual outdoor show at the JR Omori Station. Not only did that show return but so too did the yearly Omori World Title match. Soma Takao defeated Chikara to become the new champion last time but he currently does not have any challenger lined up for this year’s defence. Normally DDT does a Battle Royal on the same show to determine the No. 1 Contender a year in advance but that did not happen last time.

Trans-Am ★ Ryota was Ryota Nakatsu, Trans-Am ★ Takato was Takato Nakano and Trans-Am ★ Ika was Lil’ Kraken all impersonating different eras of the Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi gimmick along with Hiroshi himself.
Some of the wrestlers performed karaoke before the matches began. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Antonio Honda, Takumi Tsukamoto and Lil’ Kraken all took part. Kraken actually did a diss track aimed at Rikiya Shindo instead of karaoke.

FUMA defended the Union MAX Title against the first of what he says is several people he owes a debt to. According to FUMA some of those people are in BASARA and others like Eisa8 are from outside the promotion. Eisa8 was somebody he had never beaten by himself until today.
Today was Sparky’s last match together as a unit. However none of the members are retiring and know they will continue being in the ring together one way or another.

For the first time in three years BASARA held their all you can drink “~UTAGE~” show again in Shin-Kiba 1st RING. In the main event FUMA defeated Takumi Tsukamoto to become a three time Union MAX Champion! By beating Tsukamoto today and also Ryota Nakatsu recently, FUMA now thinks he has gotten revenge for all of his biggest failings in the last few years in his bid to become champion again. There are more wrestlers out there he wants to get revenge on. The first one on his mind is a certain wrestler from Osaka who he has never beaten. His name is Eisa8 and FUMA fought him often under a mask in Okinawa Pro. He is going to see what his own schedule is like next month before he challenges Eisa8 to a title match. BASARA will be in Osaka on 23rd September and FUMA also wants the promotion to run a show in Gunma on 14th October.
Gouma Ryu bribed the referee with money to give him the advantage against Nakatsu in the Jacket Match. It caused the ref to count slowly after Nakatsu knocked out Ryu. The ref was given more money by Ryu on the canvas to stop the 10 count entirely. The ref also fast counted Nakatsu and ignored Ryu using his law book as a weapon. When Nakatsu took the book from him and threatened to hit him back, the ref was bribed into disqualifying Nakatsu entirely.
A big upset in early in the show saw Lil’ Kraken & Leo Isaka win as a tag team for the first time against Sento Minzoku. Isaka ended up dodging Isami Kodaka’s finisher and used an Inside Cradle to pin him for the three count. With this result Kraken suggested they challenge Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita for the IRON FIST Tag Titles on 18th September. Fujita later accepted the challenge. He & Shimomura just beat Speed Of Sounds today so what chance do Kraken & Isaka have?
Daichi Kazato announced that Asian Kung Fu Revolution will be producing the 17th September show.

Yesterday Kazuki Hirata and Yukio Sakaguchi met with Hisaya Imabayashi to sign the contract for their DDT Extreme Title match. Hirata admitted he could not think of a match stipulation in time but promised he would come up with something that Sakaguchi would be pleased with. Sakaguchi signed the contract and Hirata suddenly burst into laughter. He actually did come up with rules and Sakaguchi cannot back out now. The match Hirata wants is a Ghost & Balloon Death Match! The match can be won and lost as normal but whenever there is a kickout or rope break either a “Ghost” or a “Balloon” will enter the ring. It turns out that Sakaguchi does not like either ghosts or balloons so Hirata figured out he can use that information to unsettle his opponent. His point was proven when he took out a pair of rubber gloves, blew them up like balloons and then popped them, causing Sakaguchi to flee the room.
Several matches on the show are being sponsored by different beauty products and salon businesses.

This is now going to be the second Saki Akai photobook to wrestle in DDT. The first one is a former Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion because of course it would be! It even beat The Young Bucks autobiography to win it.

The second challenger for Kodaka quickly made himself known over the weekend. Shinichiro Tominaga had a brief stare down with Kodaka at the Ganbare☆Pro show on Sunday afternoon and then later that evening threw out the challenge after he beat Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi in BASARA. The two wrestlers go way back to the final years of Union Pro. Tominaga came into the promotion at the beginning of 2012 as the hot new rookie with a lot of promise behind him. His run in that promotion only lasted 6 months of ring time when he fractured his forearm. Then when 2012 rolled around he declined to renew his contract and went back to the lower independents. It is a decision that has stayed on his mind ever since. Was he right or wrong to leave back then? He eventually bounced back by finding GanPro and becoming a regular part of their shows. He now thinks he is able to catch up with Kodaka. If he beats him for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title then it will prove he made the right choice all those years ago.
Soma Takao will be on the show.

Earlier today on the Ganbare☆Pro show Shinichiro Tominaga was hinted to be the next challenger for Isami Kodaka and the Spirit Of Ganbare Title. When Tominaga beat Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi on this show, he told Kodaka that he pinned Mizuki Watase earlier in the day too. He is on a good form lately, good enough that he now thinks he can catch up to Kodaka! He always asked himself what would have happened if he never quit Union Pro.
