3. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – 3 Way Match: Miyu Yamashita defeated Raku and Mahiro Kiryu (c) when Yamashita pinned Kiryu with the Skull Kick (7:55).
*Miyu Yamashita becomes the 1,801st champion.
4. Max The Pompaler & Pom Harajuku defeated Hyper Misao & Chika Nanase when Max pinned Nanase with the Short-Range Lariat (8:10).
5. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi defeated Sara Phoenix & Kira Summer when Tatsumi pinned Summer with the Twist Of Fate (11:44).
6. Mizuki, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Ren Konatsu when Takami submitted Konatsu with the Koala Clutch (12:06).
7. Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated Yuki Arai, HIMAWARI & Toga when Nakajima pinned HIMAWARI with the Diving Senton (14:46).

Niigata’s own Shoko Nakajima led the ToJo Tokusatsu Club to victory despite the setback of failing to combine into one Megazord several times throughout the match. After picking up the win, Nakajima told everyone a story about the time she went to the Tokamachi Snow Festival as a child and she along with her siblings got to meet the heroes from Gekisou Sentai Carranger. She still keeps the group photo they took in her home back in Tokyo and it is something she treasures. She’s been worried about her family back here because of the heavy snowfall this year and wants to become a hero to be a source of inspiration for everyone to keep working harder. The ToJo Tokusatsu Club don’t borrow the power of heroes, they fight alongside them!

In a preview of this Saturday’s Max Heart Tournament final, Mizuki & Uta Takami got the better of Ober Eats in a 6-Woman Tag Match. Mizuki landed a Diving Cross Body onto Wakana Uehara and then helped Takami take down Yuki Kamifuku with a Dropkick. Ren Konatsu tried to beat Takami using different roll ups but Takami Dropkicked her as well and made Konatsu give up to the Koala Clutch. She later declared that a girl from the Hokuriku region has conquered the land of snow! Mizuki said she doesn’t normally believe in momentum but she can really feel there is a lot of it behind Takami. Shino Suzuki is also thrilled to have teamed with them again and be on the winning team today. Kamifuku encouraged Uehara by telling her the most important thing today is she worked hard. It’s all about being able to help each other, which was proven when Kamifuku forgot to bring her kneepads today and needed to borrow a pair from Shion Kanzaki. Uehara said she loved the warm atmosphere in the building today and she wants to bring it with her all the way to Korakuen Hall.

Before Pompaler made their entrance for Match #4, Hyper Misao got on the microphone to tell Chika Nanase what their gameplan will be. Misao admits Pompaler are too experienced of a tag team for a first time pairing to beat so she asked Super Sasadango Machine to give her some sasadango treats to distract Max The Impaler with. Then they could double team Pom Harajuku and throw her at Max for once. The plan didn’t work well enough. Max fell for the distraction but easily caught Harajuku when she was thrown at them. Max then threw Harajuku at the other team but they both dodged out of the way and Sasadango took the impact instead. Max went on to pin Nanase with the Short-Range Lariat and proceeded to take her scrunchie as a trophy.

An alliance between Raku and Mahiro Kiryu was unable to stop Miyu Yamashita from becoming the new Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion. She hit Raku with the Return Crash then pinned Kiryu with the Skull Kick for the victory. Later after the show there was a fan event that featured the roster competing in different games. One of them was a challenge where several wrestlers all tried to pause a stopwatch at exactly the ten second mark. Whoever got the closest time would be the winner. Since Yamashita took part in it that meant the Iron Man Title was put on the line. The ring announcer Rise Shirai ended up winning the contest to become the new champion. Then later in the event everyone surprised Shion Kanzaki by giving her a cake for her birthday. While they were all celebrating, Kiryu attacked Shirai in front of everybody and used the stopwatch’s cord to choke her into submission. The referee called it a title change but decided the Stopwatch was now the champion! Kiryu then grabbed the Stopwatch, ran away to an empty room where only the referee could follow her and she pinned it to become the champion again.

Sasadango was at the event as the PR Ambassador for “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”. The last time he was at a TJPW show he gave some people challenges to help promote the Sumo Hall show. Today he was looking to get some updates along with giving out more marketing ideas for the roster to take part in. He heard about the ToJo Tokusatsu Club’s request to fight alongside the Super Sentai. He told them that CyberFight actually are working hard on trying to make a collaboration happen but it will be a challenge to make it a reality. So in the meantime he instructed the Club to take part in secret training to prepare for Sumo Hall. Sasadango then asked Tetsuya Koda if there was any progress in him finding a big celebrity to wrestle on the show. He had to remind Koda that this task is seperate from the Super Sentai one. That made Koda admit he’s made zero progress and he doesn’t know where to start. Sasadango told Koda if he can’t do this task then they might as well cancel “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” and nobody wants that to happen. According to Sasadango, if Koda looks hard enough he can find 20 people who are famous enough to fill Sumo Hall by themselves.

When Sasadango was done with catching up on the current challenges, he went to find Rika Tatsumi so he could give her one too. He approached Daydream after they won their tag match and asked Tatsumi what is her most unique quality? Tatsumi said she is a classic idol wrestler but Sasadango corrected her. Her best quality is her madness! Tatsumi refused to believe him but Sasadango brought up how she always strangles her opponents and he doesn’t understand why everyone in Tokyo Joshi Pro ignores it. His challenge to Tatsumi is to hone the insanity inside herself to help liven up Sumo Hall! Tatsumi needs to face the madness within herself but she doesn’t understand what Sasadango means by that. She isn’t a psychopath and she wants to prove it by shaking Sasadango’s hand. But as the handshake was happening, Sasadango encouraged her to try and strangle him. She wouldn’t so he simply told her to do her best and then left. Tatsumi doesn’t know what to do about this. Miu Watanabe however is looking forward to seeing what side of Tatsumi everyone will see at Sumo Hall, the classic idol wrestler or the psychopath?

Shuji In BASARA, Max Heart Final, “Newcomer” Akito, GanPro Title Matches

February 2, 2026

BASARA “BASARA 299 ~TAKAGARI 32~”, 11/02/2026
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Takeru Inoue Vs Yuki Ishida
2. SAGAT Vs Lil’ Kraken
3. Isami Kodaka & Ryuma Sekimo Vs Daiki Shimomura & Takato Nakano
4. Takumi Tsukamoto & Masato Kamino Vs FUMA & Seiya Morohashi
5. Shuji Ishikawa, Ryota Nakatsu & Daichi Kazato Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga

As long as Shuji Ishikawa hold the Union MAX Title, he is going to treat BASARA like a second home. He is currently scheduled to be on all of their shows for February and March.

The Super Family are hitting some sort of rough patch after failing to win the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles on the last show. Lil’ Kraken wonders if they should split up but SAGAT still wants to team with him. After taking a day to think about it, the decision was made to have the two face each other in a singles bout. Is this just something to get their frustrations out or will it be a (super) family rift that cannot be healed?

Yuki Ishida from DDT makes another appearance here. He’ll take on BASARA’s young prospect Takeru Inoue in the opener.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “THE 6TH “FUTARI WA PRINCESS” MAX HEART TOURNAMENT”, 14/02/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Ren Konatsu Vs Shion Kanzaki
2. Miyu Yamashita, Kaya Toribami, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki Vs Hyper Misao, Kakeru Sekiguchi, Kira Summer & Chika Nanase
3. Shoko Nakajima & Sara Phoenix Vs Suzume & Arisu Endo

7. International Princess Title: MIRAI (c) Vs Toga
8. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Final: Mizuki & Uta Takami Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara

It’s new territory for the Max Heart Tournament because the current Princess Tag Team Champions have reached the final for the first time. Ober Eats are now just one win away from winning the whole thing and living up to the votes they got for the Best Tag Team category in the recent Tokyo Sports Awards. Meanwhile Mizuki & Uta Takami are on something of a miracle run as a tag team, although they want to prove they deserve to be here through hard work and well earned success instead of luck and good fortune.

There’s an alternate timeline where Daydream and Kyoto Tag could have been a semi final match in the tournament. Instead they’re facing each other on the undercard to help build up March’s Princess Of Princess Title match between Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai.

Opponents have now become tag partners. Shoko Nakajima liked wrestling Sara Phoenix so much she wants to team with her. They may end up being a bounce back team for Daisy Monkey though.

A first win awaits for either Ren Konatsu or Shion Kanzaki.

5. Ueno Nordic Presents Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Pokotan
6. Special Single Match: Minoru Suzuki Vs To-y

This is the full card but the only confirmation of the match order is the opener and the main event. Yuki Ueno challenges Pokotan to a one on one battle while Akito returns to his rookie roots to wrestle as Akito Nishigaki once more. Also there is another Brahman Brother among us! Unless I’m reading the name wrong and it is Barman Sasaki instead of Brahman Sasaki.

2. Hyper Misao defeated Shino Suzuki with La Magistral Cradle (8:16).
3. Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated Yuki Arai, Mifu Ashida & Kira Summer when Nakajima pinned Summer with the Northern Lights Suplex (10:40).
4. Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Miyu Yamashita, Raku & Ren Konatsu when Tatsumi pinned Konatsu with the Twist Of Fate (9:07).
5. MIRAI & Sara Phoenix defeated Toga & Chika Nanase when MIRAI pinned Nanase with the Suteki MIRAI☆Lock (14:59).
6. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Semi-Final: Mizuki & Uta Takami defeated Suzume & Arisu Endo when Mizuki pinned Endo with the Cutie Special (13:16).
7. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Semi-Final: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara defeated Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku when Kamifuku pinned Harajuku with the Diving Famouser (13:29).

And now there are only two teams left. The Max Heart Tournament semi finals cut down two accomplished tag teams today, one of them being former winners and the other being last year’s finalists. Ober Eats however have become the first reigning Princess Tag Team Champions to make it to the last round by eliminated Pompaler in today’s main event. Max The Impaler was almost unstoppable by themselves but things went south when Pompaler missed the Laforet Harajuku Cannonball into the corner. Wakana Uehara got in some extra damage by giving Max the Sushi Tornado while Yuki Kamifuku got the pin on Pom Harajuku with the Diving Famouser. It was a redeeming victory for Ober Eats because they lost to Pompaler at last year’s semi final which was also held in Shinjuku FACE. Harajuku really wanted to win this year but she thinks her bond with Max has deepened even further and they have become more super best friends than ever! Although she would like it if Max would stop throwing her.

Is history repeating itself with Mizuki? She was once thrown into a tag team with Yuka Sakazaki for a tournament and they ended up winning it to start a long road of dominating Tokyo Joshi Pro’s tag team division. Are we starting to see the same thing with Mizuki & Uta Takami because they just beat Daisy Monkey to reach the Max Heart final! Suzume & Arisu Endo had things going well for them until Mizuki found a way to use Endo as a launchpad to Double Stomp Suzuki between the ropes in the corner. Takami came in with the assist to help Mizuki use the Cutie Special on Endo twice for the finish. Daisy Monkey took it as a lesson that they still have room to improve. It excites them to learn that there are even stronger teams out there. Mizuki admits she is surprised with her team’s success and credits Takami’s hard work for pulling her along. She thinks they are like opposites which is why they haven’t even come up with a team name yet. Takami thinks they both have the same heart though and that is what has made them a strong pair so far.

The final is now set for 14th February in Korakuen Hall. The two teams spoke to each other face to face in the ring at the end of the show. Kamifuku expected Mizuki to make it this far and she is happy to face her in Korakuen again because Mizuki was part of Kamifuku’s debut match that was held in the same venue. Uehara is even getting a little annoyed at how cool headed both Mizuki & Takami are this late into the tournament. Takami said her team has been working so hard that she can see a future where they can win the final. Mizuki agreed that it is not some miracle that brought them this far and if they can beat Ober Eats in the final she is sure they can win the Princess Tag Titles from them too! Kamifuku closed out the show talking about how she prefers not to show her emotions but the final will be an emotional experience that you won’t find with AI.

MIRAI and Toga met twice in the ring today, once for a contract signing and then later again for a tag match. Toga explained she made the challenge for the International Princess Title to show her growth as a singles wrestler. She’s been studying MIRAI and expects that MIRAI has been studying her too. Even so, she warns that MIRAI is going to see a side of Toga she hasn’t seen before. MIRAI introduced herself as the embodiment of Michinoku Pro’s mutsu spirit. She admitted she has been watching Toga’s matches on Wrestle Universe and is impressed with how cool she is. She has noticed how explosive Toga’s signature moves are and she can turn the tables with just one hit. However MIRAI is confident she can win and go on to defend the IP Title at Sumo Hall. She then apologised to Tetsuya Koda for putting the idea out there without asking him first. MIRAI would then go on to win a tag match with Sara Phoenix against Toga & Chika Nanase. She said Toga’s strikes were as painful as she expected but it was herself who had the most energy today to win. Toga said she saw firsthand just how calculated MIRAI’s moves are while wrestling her so she now needs to figure that out herself.

It was time for a meeting between the ToJo Tokusatsu Club. Not only did Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro enter the ring armed with a D-Sword Vega and some SP Licences, they also tried to form themselves into one large mecha with Nakajima on top of Aino and Kazashiro having to carry everything as the base. She couldn’t do it so Mifu Ashida got Yuki Arai & Kira Summer to all cheer together for her. Kazashiro went through with trying and naturally everyone all collapsed. The Tokusatsu Club recovered to win the match and start thinking of a new goal together. They all want to liven up “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” in their own way this March and show children that pro wrestling can make dreams come true. So they want to invite some Super Sentai heroes to Sumo Hall where they can all fight together!

The last time Hyper Misao and Shino Suzuki had a match against each other, Misao came up with rules that were built around a trivia quiz so she could cheer herself up at the time. She reflected back on that match today and admitted she was immature back then. In other to self-reflect before her big tag match at Sumo Hall this March, Misao wanted to come up with rules based on something Suzuki likes. Misao knows that Suzuki is good at double jumps so she brought along a jump rope and suggested one of them would need to do 10 double jumps every time there is a kickout. Suzuki wouldn’t agree and demanded the rule be she only needs to pin Misao for a Two Count in order to win while Misao still needs to get a 3 Count. Both rules were agreed to and the nearfalls got to the point where both of them had to do double jumps at the same time to continue the match until Misao pinned Suzuki with La Magistral Cradle.

It was announced that Mifu Ashida, Miyu Yamashita and Suzume will all have homecoming shows taking place later this year. Ashida’s show will be held in Fukuchiyama on 4th April, Yamashita’s show in Fukuoka is scheduled for 5th April and Suzume’s show in Tsukuba is set for 6th May.

Four teams are left in the Max Heart Tournament. Can Pompaler reach the final again for a second year in a row or will Ober Eats become the first reigning Princess Tag Team Champions to make it to the last two. Daisy Monkey are still on path to becoming the first two time winners but the wild card team of Mizuki & Uta Takami can continue to throw things off course.

MIRAI will make her first appearance back in Tokyo Joshi Pro since winning the International Princess Title. She and Toga will be gearing up for their title match next month with Sara Phoenix and Chika Nanase joining in the fun.

7. D GENERATIONS CUP 2026 – A Block: To-y (3) Vs Ilusion (0)

A big shift is happening in DDT now that The Apex has joined Strange Love Connection, turning SLC from a tag team into a growing unit. The change it has for this show isn’t as big though. It’s just Yukio Naya and Rukiya swapping teams now that Naya calls MAO & KANON his allies.

The main event of The 37KAMIINA’s annual Valentine’s Day show has been announced. To-y is going to fight Minoru Suzuki! To-y is probably going to get murdered by Suzuki too.

Both Yuki Ueno and MAO will be wrestling on the show. Also Shunma Katsumata will be there taking on several roles from show producer to ring announcer to Sauna Health Advisor.

2. Naomi Yoshimura & Yuni Vs Hideki Okatani & Ilusion
3. To-y, Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku Vs Yuki Ishida, Kazuma Sumi & Hinata Kasai
4. MAO, KANON & Yukio Naya (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Akito, Junta Miyawaki & Daichi Sato
5. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Jun Akiyama Vs Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda
6. O-40 Title – 4 Way Match: Daisuke Sasaki (c) Vs HARASHIMA Vs Danshoku Dieno Vs Tomomitsu Matsunaga

The grand plan to create a DDT Triple Crown didn’t work out for Daisuke Sasaki but he is now a double champion. His first defence for the DDT Universal Title hasn’t been decided yet but if it was up to him it would be against Ueno. Instead he has to go defend the O-40 Title in a 4 Way Match against HARASHIMA, Danshoku Dieno and Tomomitsu Matsunaga. Given what pro wrestling is like nowadays I doubt this is the oldest lineup a 4 Way Match has ever had.

2. Special 6-Man Tag Match: MAO, KANON & X (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Danshoku Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine & Akito
3. Kaisei Takechi 2nd Anniversary Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Kaisei Takechi

SLC have even more members coming to join the team. MAO was already planning to reveal their new stablemate before The Apex offered to join them. I think Kazuma Sumi would be the perfect choice given that he already fits in with MAO & KANON from previous tag matches and he has a little bit of history teaming up with The Apex as well.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. 28: BIG BEAT FROM BADSVILLE”, 24/02/2026
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa

1. Special Single Match: Antonio Honda Vs Miyu Yamashita
2. Special Single Match: Chris Brookes Vs Yuta Oya

Chris Brookes was feeling down over his recent championship defeats but a brand new opponent emerging in Baka Gaijin + Friends has cheered him up. Yuta Oya is from Sportiva Entertainment and only debuted in July 2024 which made headlines because he is blind. He had cancer as a child that resulted in his right eye being removed and radiation therapy being needed to save his left eye. He had taken up judo in school and wanted to become a pro wrestler but had to give up that dream when he eventually lost sight in his left eye and became fully blind. He was then diagnosed with bladder cancer in his early 30s which made him want to become a pro wrestler to teach his son you need the determination to never give up while pursuing what you love.

Also making their Baka Gaijin debut next month is Miyu Yamashita! She has teamed up with Antonio Honda before, the most important time being the match against Kenny Omega & Riho at “ULTIMATE PARTY 2019”. This will be the first time Yamashita and Honda will be opponents.

DDT “JUDGEMENT 2026 ~29TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION 5 HOUR SPECIAL~”, 22/03/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Dramatic Dream Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Kazuki Hirata
2. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs KANON

The DDT 29th Anniversary main event has been set. Yuki Ueno defends the KO-D Openweight Title against KANON in a match that has more history behind it than it looks on the surface. When KANON joined DDT in 2022 his first loss in the company was to Ueno in that year’s King Of DDT tournament. KANON wants to get revenge on that loss while also taking the company’s top prize as somebody who has grown to love DDT. Ueno remembers that match and he also remembers all of the times KANON tried to hurt him as a member of DAMNATION T.A. Will the build up to this match result in fresh bad blood between them or will cooler heads prevail to focus on the big prize?

Meanwhile Kazuki Hirata is getting the biggest opponent DDT can throw at him and he doesn’t like it. Can he pull off an even bigger miracle than winning the KO-D Title last year by beating Konosuke Takeshita all by himself? I mean if Yota Tsuji can do it then Hirata certainly can. Right?

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”, 29/03/2026
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Special Tag Match: Yuka Sakazaki & KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Hyper Misao & Super Sasadango Machine
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Yuki Arai

Look, even Super Sasadango Machine is surprised that the mystery team isn’t Shingo Takagi & Natsupoi. Instead Sasadango is being dragged into the match by Hyper Misao because she thinks a pairing as incomprehensible as them is what it will take to beat Yuka Sakazaki & Takeshita. Also Misao wants to get contracts from DDT, TJPW, AEW and New Japan all at the same time. She thinks winning this match will help her achieve that goal.

Natsume Nakayama from OCHA NORMA will be at the show as a special guest commentator. She does not seem to be the celebrity wrestler that Tetsuya Koda has been tasked with finding to be a big draw for the show.

7. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 2: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara defeated Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida when Uehara submitted Ashida with the Banana Pillow (12:05).

With Round 2 out of the way now every team in this year’s Max Heart Tournament have had a match. Ober Eats are currently the team to be since they are the reigning Princess Tag Team Champions. They also knocked out the team featuring one half of the upcoming Sumo Hall main event. Kyoto Tag had their moment of taunting Wakana Uehara with some cheerleading but Yuki Kamifuku and her Big Boots were there to keep things in favour of the champions. While Yuki Arai was able to get rid of her with a Brainbuster, Mifu Ashida wasn’t able to capitalise. Instead Uehara trapped her in the Banana Pillow to get the win and advance Ober Eats into the semi finals. Uehara really wants to win the Max Heart trophies and she’s noticing that Kamifuku is becoming hungry for success too even though she’s not showing it. Ashida said if Kyoto Tag would have won today, they would have revealed their official tag team name. Unfortunately it’s going to be kept secret for a while longer. Ashida even thought up lyrics for a new entrance song. The only line she would reveal is “I love you, Arai♪ Let’s try harder♪” and it took up a lot of her brain power to come up with it.

The other half of the Sumo Hall main event was also knocked out of the tournament today despite her best efforts with her tag partner. Daydream walked out armed with their sasumata poles in an attempt to trap Pompaler with them. The poles worked on Pom Harajuku but Max The Impaler was able to power their way out of the trap. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi did what they could to slow Max down, even by using Harajuku as a weapon against them. But Max did the same to Daydream before pinning Tatsumi with the Reverse Splash for the victory. Daydream are both relieved they are still alive after the match but are disappointed to be knocked out so early. Both of them want to achieve a lot together this year whether if it is Daydream winning Best Tag Team Awards or Tatsumi becoming the Dragon God of everything. Pompaler now face Ober Eats in the semi final and the champions are not looking forward to that.

Only one team of former winners remain in the final four and that’s Daisy Monkey. They had to go through the kick heavy team of K!SS// to get here. Arisu Endo was able to block Kaya Toribami from going for the Sento Choryu while Suzume took out Miyu Yamashita with the Ring A Bell. Toribami tried to kick her way out of trouble but Endo stunned her with a Super Kick before getting the win using her Ju no Okite finisher. Daisy Monkey are feeling confident together now they are reunited and they really want to win this tournament again. They also now wonder if they can challenge K!SS// for the IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles? Would they have to go to Thailand to make it happen? K!SS// already have a title defence lined up over there happening next month though.

In something of an upset, the makeshift team of Mizuki & Uta Takami have eliminated Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed in the 2nd Round! Mizuki’s craftiness won out in the end when she saw an opening to do a Double Stomp onto Haru Kazashiro while she was trying to bridge a pin on top of Takami. Kazashiro didn’t notice that Takami rolled out of the way and definitely didn’t expect Mizuki to come in and stomp her flat. Takami immediately jumped on top for the pin and got the three count. Yuki Aino apologised for not being there to stop the pin but Kazashiro told her neither of them are to blame for losing. Mizuki said that since the team has made it this far, they should make a miracle happen and go even further. They have to beat Daisy Monkey in the semi final if they want to make that miracle a reality.

Super Sasadango Machine was in attendance for the show to help promote “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” happening at Sumo Hall on 29th March. He is the PR Ambassador for the show but wants everybody in Tokyo Joshi Pro to do their part in promoting the big event. That includes Tetsuya Koda who received a big request from Sasadango. Koda was told to go find an important special guest from outside of wrestling to come to the show and have a debut match! The guest needs to be such a big name that her appearance by itself can fill up Sumo Hall. Koda agreed to take the request and will find someone famous to compete in their pro wrestling debut.

Sasadango was brought back out later in the show because he was part of another important announcement. Hyper Misao declared that she is going to take on Yuka Sakazaki & Konosuke Takeshita at “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” and Sasadango will be her tag team partner! Sasadango was confused because he thought the newly married couple of Shingo Takagi & Natsupoi were going to be the mystery team facing Sakazaki & Takeshita. Misao told him to shut up and explained the better opponents for them would be the most incomprehensible tag team the wrestling world can come up with, which is Misao & Sasadango. Misao also wanted to fire up Sasadango because his efforts to promote “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” lately haven’t been up to his usual standards. Even if Sasadango’s appearance on the show only sells one ticket, how can he expect to sell out Sumo Hall if he can’t even take care of the one precious fan who bought that ticket? She also explained that the PR in TJPW PR Ambassador means Pro Wrestling Ring, not Public Relations. That means Sasadango has no choice but to accept this match! Misao also has another goal she wants to achieve out of this. She wants to beat Sakazaki & Takeshita so she can earn four contracts across DDT, TJPW, AEW and New Japan all at the same time! Sasadango is thinking even bigger and wants to get contracts with every wrestling company out there.

New Info For The TJPW Texas Tour

January 23, 2026

Details for three of the four shows Tokyo Joshi Pro will be holding in Texas in March have been revealed. We now know there are two dates in Austin on the 17th and 18th followed by a show in Arlington happening on the 21st. The Houston show currently does not have a date or venue attached. Since the original promoted dates were from the 17th to the 22nd, I reckon it will end up being held on the 22nd but nothing has been confirmed yet.

The list of TJPW wrestlers taking part on the tour are Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara, Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, Mizuki, Rika Tatsumi, Hyper Misao, Raku, Yuki Aino, Suzume, Pom Harajuku, Arisu Endo, Yuki Arai, Kaya Toribami, Shino Suzuki, Mifu Ashida and Uta Takami. There will also be non-Japanese wrestlers taking part and they will be revealed soon.

There’s one more thing I want to slip in at the end here and it is about WrestleMania Week in Las Vegas. Right now there is nothing DDT or TJPW related announced to be happening. MAO put out a tweet a few weeks back expressing his disappointment that he (and Yoshihiko) won’t be returning to Vegas this year which is more evidence that DDT won’t be doing anything. However I am hearing conflicted stories over TJPW putting out some kind of presence there during the week. One side says the Texas tour is the only US shows they are doing for the next couple of months. However I’ve also heard that TJPW is organizing something for Vegas in April that will eventually be revealed. Whether it is a full fledged show or a collaboration with another indie that will only involve a portion of the roster I do not know. The only other info I’ve seen is it will not be attached to GCW or The Collective. So yeah, I just wanted to pass along that rumour for the weekend.

Super Sasadango Machine will be at the show as part of his PR Ambassador role for “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”. He will give everyone a greetings message in the ring.

GANBARE☆PRO “NEW YEAR’S BLUES 2026”, 31/01/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Yumehito Imanari & Keisuke Ishii Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu
2. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) Vs Shinichiro Tominaga

The upcoming snap elections happening in Japan’s House Of Representatives has caused an unintended side effect for Ganbare☆Pro’s next event. They are supposed to have a show in Takashimadaira Kumin Center on 31st January but the building will no longer be available on that date in order to be turned into a polling station for early voters. GanPro were able to act quickly and book Shin-Kiba 1st RING as the replacement venue for the same date and start time. They felt the need to go ahead with the show because they’ve already sold tickets and would find it difficult to reschedule the guest wrestlers they have booked for it.

There’s a two week pause in the D GENERATIONS CUP now that we’re at around the halfway point. Daichi Sato currently leads the A Block by himself while Yuya Koroku and Rukiya are both tied for first in the B Block. To-y, Yuki Ishida, Kazuma Sumi, Yuni and Takeshi Masada all still have fighting chances of making the final while Ilusion and Hinata Kasai are both out of the running.

Kazusada Higuchi has to take another leave of absence for now, this time because of a neck injury. There is no timeline yet for how long he will be out of action for.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “THE 6TH “FUTARI WA PRINCESS” MAX HEART TOURNAMENT” Results

January 17, 2026

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “THE 6TH “FUTARI WA PRINCESS” MAX HEART TOURNAMENT”, 17/01/2026
Yokohama Radiant Hall
273 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House

1. Yuki Aino, Haru Kazashiro & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Suzume, Arisu Endo & Shion Kanzaki when Aino pinned Kanzaki with the Venus DDT (11:30).
2. Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Toga defeated Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Sara Phoenix when Kamifuku pinned Phoenix with the Famouser (11:04).
3. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 1: Mizuki & Uta Takami defeated Kira Summer & Chika Nanase when Takami submitted Nanase with the Koala Clutch (9:42).
4. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 1: Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku defeated Raku & Ren Konatsu when Max pinned Konatsu with a Short-Range Lariat (6:37).
5. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 1: Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida defeated HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki when Ashida pinned Suzuki with the German Suplex (11:06).
6. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 1: Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami defeated Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao when Toribami pinned Misao with a Crushed La Magistral Cradle (14:33).

The 6th annual Max Heart Tournament kicked off with a bang. Last year’s winners Kyoraku Kyomei knew they were given a tough challenge when they were drawn against K!SS// (Kick Slash) in the 1st Round and promised to fight fair. That was obviously a lie and Hyper Misao blinded her opponents with the Hero Spray. Miyu Yamashita launched a counter attack but Shoko Nakajima cut her off with a big Diving Senton onto the ring apron to keep her away. That left Misao to fight it out with Kaya Toribami and it all went wrong for the hero when Toribami blocked La Magistral Cradle and pinned Misao down for the three count, eliminating Kyoraku Kyomei in the opening round! After the match K!SS// they have a lot more potential to show and they will finish off the rest of the opposition with their kicks. Toribami is also feeling incredibly happy because today is the first time she won a tournament match and not get immediately knocked out of the running. They will now face Daisy Monkey in Round 2. Kyoraku Kyomei are disappointed with the loss and think they may have become too careless. They promise to pull themselves together in order to chase after the Princess Tag Team Titles again. Nakajima also spoke about wanting to challenge K!SS// for the IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles.

It’s been a good week for Mifu Ashida. She got to meet Kenta Kobashi at the Tokyo Sports Awards ceremony and he gave her his endorsement online through his Twitter account. Even Shino Suzuki couldn’t help but tell the audience about the 500 follower increase Ashida got from it while doing her tour guide spot during the match today. Ashida then went on to get the win for her team by pinning Suzuki with the German Suplex after Yuki Arai threw HIMAWARI aside with the Full Nelson Buster. The Kyoto Tag (they made a Kyoto Tower pose but are happy to just be called Kyoto Tag for now) will advance to meet Ober Eats in Round 2. Their fighting spirit is already burning for the match. If they are able to win that, they promise to give everyone a huge announcement afterwards. One that will require a press conference. Bumping gRitters are frustrated over the loss especially since they were able to beat Ashida before. They learned they still have a long way to go to get stronger.

It is business as usual for Pompaler. At the start of their match Pom Harajuku was happy to be with Max The Impaler again and Max was happy to throw Pom at the opposition again. Raku & Ren Konatsu didn’t have much of a chance here. Max ended up pinning Konatsu with a Short-Range Lariat and then took her sheep toy away as a prize. They’re going to fight Daydream next in Round 2. Harajuku thinks they can make it to the final again this year and this time win the tournament. Konatsu said the match was scary and felt like a nightmare. She and Raku will need to sleep more to get sweet dreams again and gather together bigger sheep.

You just know the combination of Mizuki & Uta Takami is going to be a handful for any team in having to fight them this year. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase put up a good effort but couldn’t match their misfit energy. Instead Mizuki was able to knock Summer away with a Missile Dropkick while Takami pulled down Nanase with the Koala Clutch to make her submit. Mizuki told Takami that tag teams make her feel special even if they are only being paired together for this year’s tournament because they didn’t have other partners available. She wants them to aim high and believes they can do so if they work hard together rather then if Takami just follows Mizuki’s lead. Takami promised to do her best to stand alongside Mizuki. That will be put to the test when they face Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed, a team with a similar kind of dynamic in Round 2. Meanwhile Nanase was upset because she is always losing matches when it matters. Summer had to console her and Nanase promised she will stop looking down on herself. She wants to stop losing and win the next time she is in this tournament.
