It was refused at first because Iino & Yukio Naya were without a third man but they quickly got Kazuma Sumi to join them and convince him he’s a heavyweight like they are.

The full cards for both days of “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025” have been revealed. As already mentioned, Daisuke Sasaki & Hideki Okatani want to take the KO-D Tag Titles from The Apex. They believe the current champs are undeserving of the belts. DAMNATION T.A are also bringing back Haruto Sakuraba for his next DDT appearance. Kumadori is also back from injury but his match has nothing to do with Ilusion so I guess we’re just moving on from that little feud for the time being.

The other big match of note in my mind is Hinata Kasai’s debut match. HARASHIMA has been chosen to be his first opponent. The kid is going to eat a Somato sooner or later so may as well get him use to it from the beginning.

3. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Kazuma Sumi defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida when Ueno pinned Ishida with the Frog Splash (9:52).
4. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Hikaru Sato & Daichi Sato defeated Yuki Iino, To-y & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Akiyama pinned Matsunaga with the Exploder Suplex (12:23).

Chaos broke out for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles main event. Bunbun was left to hang upside down from one of the nearby banners in the room. Antonio Honda tried to beat Ilusion with the Tenzan Tombstone Driver but MJ Paul pulled the referee out of the ring to stop his pin count. That allowed DAMNATION T.A to attack SCHADENFREUDE International with chairs. Daisuke Sasaki & Hideki Okatani got rid of Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada, then hit Honda with the Claymore Kick and the Pedigree onto the chair. However Ilusion missed the Swanton Bomb and landed on the chair, allowing Honda to roll him up in the Japanese Leg Clutch Hold. Okatani just about broke the pin in time and Ilusion used his own Arm Clutch version of the move on Honda called the Bombo Claat to get the three count in the end. No new challengers stepped forward afterwards so Ilusion declared DAMNATION T.A as the forever champions!

Both Kazusada Higuchi and HARASHIMA signed the contract for their KO-D Openweight Title bout earlier in the show. During the signing Higuchi brought up all of the times he challenged HARASHIMA for the KO-D Title and lost. He believes successfully defending the KO-D Title against him will be his way of getting revenge. HARASHIMA said he wants to win the title to he can bring it with him for his homecoming show on 27th July. They then faced off in a tag match with Yukio Naya and Soma Takao also involved. HARASHIMA was able to hit Higuchi with the Somato at ringside but Naya ended up beating Takao in the ring. After the match HARASHIMA said he could feel Higuchi’s mental strength as well as his physical one.

Hikaru Sato has been hearing To-y’s claims about being a crazy wrestler so he wanted to give him an extreme test to prove it. Michael Nakazawa recently sent him bottles of laxatives from America so Hikaru and To-y agreed to drink a bottle each one hour before their match today took place. Their match also involved Jun Akiyama & Daichi Sato warming up against Yuki Iino for their upcoming KO-D Tag Team Titles bout. Akiyama & Daichi noticed To-y was holding it in so they purposely targeted his stomach while Hikaru was also showing signs of panic. Thankfully nothing disgusting was let loose in the ring and as soon as the match finished both Hikaru and To-y sprinted for the toilets while Iino and Daichi kept fighting each other. Then once things calmed down, Hikaru and To-y returned to the ring to pose over the DDT Extreme Title. Hikaru later said the match left him feeling refreshed because he and To-y fought their guts out. To-y promised to come up with a crazier rule for the title match and will keep the belt for when Shunma Katsumata returns from injury.

Apparently the 5 Way Match was all in Hisaya Imabayashi’s head. He dreamed about the impending destruction of the planet so everyone had to try and win the match before the world was doomed. Time ran out though and explosions could be heard throughout the room. Nothing happened after that and the wrestlers looked around in confusion. They noticed Imabayashi was sleeping at his desk and woke him up, learning that it was all a dream he was having.

Yokohama played host to a big preview for “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” where all of the champions faced against their challengers in an 8-Woman Tag Match. Before it began Hyper Misao complained about Daydream bringing sasumata poles to the ring again and Rika Tatsumi promised not to use them. But when Misao started using her Hero Spray on the other team, Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe broke their promise and used the poles to attack Kyoraku Kyomei with. Meanwhile Suzume got the upper hand against Moka Miyamoto, ending their exchange with a low range Ring A Bell. The match switched focus over to Mizuki against Yuki Arai. Others still got in the middle of their fight and Arai ultimately took advantage of the situation. Miyamoto blocked Mizuki’s Cutie Special attempt and tried to give her the Korokan. Mizuki escaped from the move but left herself completely open to Arai hitting her with the Finally, scoring a big pinfall victory over her!

Arai celebrated her first win over Mizuki with the rest of her team. She always thought you shouldn’t challenge someone for a championship if you’ve never beaten them previously so today she can now see herself winning the Princess Of Princess Title at Ota Ward Gymnasium even more clearly. Miyamoto said that was her last preliminary match in Japan but she still has warm up matches coming up for the USA tour. Tatsumi & Watanabe pointed out that every summer is a Daydream summer because they always happen to be in some kind of championship match during this time of the year. The champions are now licking their wounds and regrouping. Shoko Nakajima promised that Kyoraku Kyomei will have a secret weapon of their own to combat Daydream’s sasumatas. Suzume will take this loss as a lesson to get through the USA tour. Mizuki wants to make a comeback from this spot they are in right now.

At some point during the day of the show, Riara found Sanshiro Takagi sitting backstage and suffocated him with a plastic bag to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title! So when she showed up for her match both Yoshiko Hasegawa & Kaya Toribami were confused to see her carrying the belt with her. Hasegawa ended up submitted Riara to win the tag match and therefore become the new Iron Man Champ! She said even though it is a singles title she couldn’t have won it without Toribami’s help so she would like to think they are sharing it. She also hopes to hold onto it long enough that she will get to defend it in her retirement match on Tuesday.

Round 2 of the Tokyo Princess Cup Preliminary League began today. This is the last stage before the proper tournament starts so whoever wins went through to fill in the final spots. Ivy Steele had the size and power advantage over Haru Kazashiro but the teenager knocked her down with a 2nd Rope Missile Dropkick and was able to pin her with the Fisherman Suplex. Kazashiro was happy to have the match with Steele because they haven’t crossed paths much before today. She now wants to make her summer a great one and this was her first step towards making it happen. Steele hoped she was going to win today because Yokohama Radiant Hall is where she made her Tokyo Joshi Pro debut. She thinks she focused too much on her future and wasn’t able to concentrate on today’s match. She also didn’t expect Kazashiro to have the strength to Fisherman Suplex her so only concentrated on countering her submission holds.

Wakana Uehara stamped her way to the main tournament by defeating Shino Suzuki. A stubborn Suzuki wanted to beat her with the Sleeper Hold but Uehara broke free and made her give up to the Banana Pillow. Uehara praised Suzuki for being the most reckless and hard working out of anyone in TJPW so she was happy to fight her today. They’re going to have a rematch in Houston next week so she’ll be focused on looking out for Suzuki’s reckless Sleeper Hold. Backstage Suzuki said she usually cries after losses like these but she realizes if she does that again in her third year as a wrestler she will never make progress. She really wants to change that because there is so much she knows she can do.

TJPW will be starting up a women’s pro wrestling class for beginners at their dojo this August. The Joshi Pro Wrestling Camp will have Miyu Yamashita and Shoko Nakajima as the two regular instructors with others filling in whenever they go wrestle abroad. The plan is to hold these classes on weekends when there are no TJPW shows on.

TJPW say a health issue is preventing Max The Impaler from participating at “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” so Pom Harajuku needs a new tag team partner. The Grace Group bus company have their own independent wrestling promotion called GRACE PROJECT. They don’t really have their own roster, save for Captain Grace who is the man in charge of the whole thing. Instead their shows are filled with indie wrestlers from across Japan including those who compete in BASARA. So a lot of familiar faces are showing up in their offer match for the show.

Shunma Tears His ACL Again, DDT Lineups For July, ZSJ At Wrestle Peter Pan

During the week Shunma Katsumata injured his knee during practice and was diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee. He will be out of action for a while. It is the same injury he suffered last November that kept him on the shelf until this past March so he is having rotten luck with his health lately. A lot of his matches for July were already booked so plenty of show lineups had to be changed around because of his injury.

The new champion Kazusada Higuchi instantly attracted one of the best wrestlers in DDT to challenge him for the title. HARASHIMA always wants to fight the strongest wrestlers and admires Higuchi for having the strength to climb back to the top of the mountain after returning from his injuries.

Akito will also be filling in for Katsumata on this show for the all important Kaisei Takechi match.

DAMNATION T.A are really ramping things up. Not only do they have Haruto Sakuraba coming back for his second wrestling match but now Masashi Takeda will be on his team! Ilusion may not even have to do much on the day other than be an annoying little shit to the opponents and that’s second nature to him at this point.

Speaking of Hasegawa’s graduation, her good buddy Riara is showing up to face her inside a Tokyo Joshi Pro ring.

The winners of Wakana Uehara versus Shino Suzuki and Haru Kazashiro versus Ivy Steele will qualify for the Tokyo Princess Cup.

Maki Itoh will be missing the show due to a scheduling conflict. It is not wrestling related, I believe she is appearing at a LinQ concert that day because a member of that group is graduating.

Plans have changed and Sanshiro Takagi has decided to rebrand his 30th Anniversary spin-off brand. Gone is MatchMake & Agent Pro Wrestling and taking its place is Super Japan Pro Wrestling! Takagi wants to imagine what it would be like if the wrestling promotion he helped form in 1997 was named Super Japan instead of Dramatic Dream Team. Part of that vision is getting one of DDT’s other founders MIKAMI to take part in the debut show. He will face the similarly aged TAKA Michinoku in what might be Super Japan’s inaugural match.

Also announced for the show are Kuroshio TOKYO Japan, The Brahman Brothers, Fuminori Abe and Ippanjin Munenori Sawa. Takagi and The Brahmans all want Yuji Nagata to be on the show but he keeps turning them down.

Earlier today Rise Shirai brought the eight remaining wrestlers in the Tokyo Princess Cup Preliminary League together to take part in a draw to determine who faces who in Round 2. The winners of these four matches will qualify for the actual Princess Cup, filling in the four remaining spots. The lottery came up with these four matches:

-. Wakana Uehara Vs Shino Suzuki
-. Pom Harajuku Vs HIMAWARI

It has not been decided yet which matches will take place when. Two will be held at the 5th July show in Yokahama Radiant Hall and the remaining two takes place in Shinjuku FACE on 8th July. The match placements will take the rest of the show cards into consideration. For example maybe Moka Miyamoto will have another match with Suzume in Yokohama to build up their upcoming title match so that would mean Miyamoto’s qualifier against Kaya Toribami would have to take place in Shinjuku.

A wrestling master facing one of his proteges many years later is always a nice story to have for a match. At the first “CHARISMANIA” show held last year Daisuke Sasaki said he wanted to challenge Dick Togo to a singles match to celebrate his 20th anniversary in wrestling. The two are living up to their promise and doing the match at “CHARISMANIA II”.

This year is also the 20th anniversary of Naohiro Katsumi’s debut in SUPER CREW. He hardly ever wrestles nowadays but reappeared at the first “CHARISMANIA” to face his classmate KUBITO. He returns for the second event this time to wrestle Yasu Urano one on one.

Two second generation luchadors have been booked for the show. Both El Pantera Jr. and Sangre Azteca Jr. are currently having a long stay in Japan to wrestle for Michinoku Pro. More masked wrestlers are involved with the addition of Ilusion and… Sumicaras is back again after his last Beer Garden appearance?

The next team to challenge DAMNATION T.A for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles is SCHADENFREUDE International. It came about when Takeshi Masada wanted a title shot. Ilusion refused because Masada hadn’t won anything to deserve one but then Ilusion was reminded that he was pinned by Antonio Honda recently. Sasaki has been letting Ilusion speak on behalf of the heel group recently along with making decisions so Ilusion walked into giving SCHADENFREUDE the next title shot. Not sure if Hideki Okatani would have done the same or if he even cares.
