6. Shunma Katsumata Produce – Hardcore 4 Way Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata and MAO when Takeshita pinned Katsumata with a Rolling Cradle (19:26).
Day 2 of Beer Garden had The 37KAMIINA all face each other in a Hardcore 4 Way Match. Tables, ladders and chairs were placed around the ring for them to use but each wrestler brought out their own weapons too. MAO brought out a massage gun and homemade shield, Yuki Ueno had training equipment, Konosuke Takeshita had a bat covered in toy blocks and Shunma Katsumata had a plastic box full of toy blocks inside. Since this match was put together by Katsumata he asked the others to join him in a chair duel. They did so but the other three later put Katsumata through a table. MAO also put Ueno through a plastic box and chairs with an Avalanche Package Piledriver. Katsumata threw his boxes at everyone and filled the ring with toy blocks. He gave Takeshita a Hurricanrana onto the pile but Takeshita continued the momentum and rolled his opponent into a pinning combination for the win. After the match Katsumata had to call the rest of the unit back into the ring so they could close out the show together. He asked each of them what they thought of the match but cut off every answer so he could say how awesome he is. He then listed all of the championships The 37KAMIINA are fighting for next month. They will become the central stove of DDT and will turn the company into a sauna!
Makoto Oishi was in attendance to watch Junretsu face MEN’S Club in his produce match. Yusuke Okada won the match in Oishi’s place but Oishi insists he is not his substitute. Despite that, he gives his support to Okada to win the KO-D Tag Team Titles with Jun Akiyama next month. He also wants to book Akiyama versus MEN’S Teioh in a singles match after their first time meeting today. Both Akiyama and Teioh joked that Oishi shouldn’t be booking singles matches between two wrestlers over 50.
The CyberFight Concurso was a chance for DDT’s bodybuilders to strut their stuff in their underwear. That idea was almost ruined when Tetsuya Endo pinned Gorgeous Matsuno in under a minute. Hisaya Imabayashi told Endo to restart the match because Matsuno is his dad’s friend. The match began again, they repeated the spot and this time Matsuno kicked out. However Matsuno then gave Low Blows to everyone in the ring, causing the match to get thrown out. A winner had to be determined so everyone decided on a pose off. They also forced Imabayashi to take part in it. The audience voted for the winner and they chose Imabayashi!
DAMNATION met their mirror opposites when Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Super Sasadango Machine showed up as IyasareNATION! Brookes was Chrisma Brookes, Honda was Mad Anton and Sasadango was Yoshihiro Hino. That last one made Yuji Hino laugh. In a reversal, Mad Paulie took Honda’s comedy spot and told his own Gongitsune joke through grunts. He also got the pin on Honda to win in the end.
The 3 Way Match ended in a 5 minute draw so Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Naya and Naomi Yoshimura decided on a sumo tournament to settle on a winner. Higuchi was the first person to win twice in a row so he was determined the winner.
Every now and then Soma Takao reminds everyone he is influenced by CIMA. He did it here by beating Keigo Nakamura with the Perfect Driver.

6. Chris Brookes & Hideki Okatani defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Yuya Koroku when Okatani submitted Koroku with a Crab Hold (22:18).
Summertime means it’s time for DDT to go back to the beer garden. Normally the headline match goes to one of the wrestler self-produced matches but this year the Day 1 spotlight was given to Hideki Okatani and Yuya Koroku. The tag match also involved Konosuke Takeshita and Chris Brookes but the final moments came down to the youngsters. Okatani got the better of Koroku in a duel of Elbow Strikes and almost won with a Running Elbow Smash. He had to make Koroku give up to a Crab Hold to get the win in the end. Okatani got to give the show closing speech. He wants to win his matches on all the Beer Garden shows this year.
The visiting Ganbare☆Pro team were victorious over DISASTER BOX. Even they were surprised by the result! While HARASHIMA and Keisuke Ishii kicked each other back and forth on the ring apron, Naomi Yoshimura tangled with Shuichiro Katsumura in the ring. Katsumura caught his opponent’s Lariat and countered it into the Ninja Choke. He kept the move locked in until the referee stopped the match in his favour. HARASHIMA took the loss well and along with Yoshimura shook hands with his opponents after the match.
The annual ghost story from Hisaya Imabayashi almost never took place. First a delay was announced because everyone involved in the match was caught in a traffic accident on the way to the venue. Imabayashi arrived in a hurry and explained to everyone they crashed into a dump truck. He wasn’t hurt in the accident but the four wrestlers were all sent to the hospital in an unconscious state. He broke down and cried in the ring until suddenly Toru Owashi, Danshoku Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine and Yuki Ueno all climbed into the ring and began wrestling their match. However nobody at ringside was reacting to them, leaving the wrestlers feeling confused. All of a sudden, a Shinigami appeared and told the wrestlers they all died in the traffic accident earlier due to Sasadango’s bad driving. Their souls made it to Shinjuku FACE because it was their duty to still wrestle but the time had come for him to take their souls to the afterlife. The wrestlers begged for their lives and struck a deal with the Shinigami. He would bring them back to life for five minutes so they could wrestle their last match. They were revived, giving Yukinori Matsui a big shock, and they went straight into the 4 Way. But there was a twist from Shinigami. He would spare the winner of the match and only take the souls of the losers! Ueno ended up winning the match by making Sasadango tap out to a Sleeper Hold. However Ueno offered to sacrifice himself to Shinigami in order to spare the other three. Each of the wrestlers all did the same until Shinigami got annoyed and decided to revive all of them. The wrestlers celebrated until Imabayashi tried to scare them all with the evil point he always does during his ghost stories. But nothing happened. They didn’t even notice him. Imabayashi was confused until the Shinigami tapped on his shoulder and told him it was time for them to leave. That was when Imabayashi realized he was dead all along. The room went dark and then “Wild Thing” played.
It was a bunch of family fortunes in Match #3. The relatives of six DDT wrestlers were gathered together for a 6-Man Tag Match. One team was made up of well behaved high school students: Kazusada Clark, Yukio Ochanomizu & Saki Akamon. Their opponents Regent Hirata, Yuko Kamisori & One Punch Nakamura were all delinquents. Hirata bullied Ochanomizu for his money. Ochanomizu offered him his lunch bread instead but Hirata slapped it away. They continued to bully the students until they stripped off Ochanomizu’s jacket to discover his body was covered in tattoos. The tables turned anf Ochanomizu led his team to fight back against the bullies. Clark confessed his love for Kamisori after the match and they kissed in the ring.
Bicycles were legal when Sanshiro Takagi went to war with wrestler/cyclist SHINGO. First SHINGO cycled out in his full costume then Takagi appeared with the revived and upgraded Dramatic Dream! SHINGO asked for his legs to not be targeted because he has a race next week but his pleas were ignored as Takagi attacked them. They soon brought their bikes into the ring and cycled into each other. SHINGO got the upper hand at first but Takagi eventually lifted both him and his bicycle high in the air for an Argentine Backbreaker. Takagi then attached a drill to the Dramatic Dream and used it to smash a plastic box into SHINGO. Takagi then finished him off with the Dramatic Dream Twister. He praised SHINGO and his trainers at HEAT-UP for a great performance after the match.
MAO & Yukio Naya were a well oiled machine together against Akito & Gota Ihashi. Naya Choke Slammed Akito onto his partner and then put Ihashi in a Cobra Twist. MAO made the letter E with his body and climbed on top of them to add more pressure to the hold, causing Ihashi to give up.

DDT went to Hokkaido to host an Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title defence during a charity football match. Shinya Aoki successfully held onto the title by winning a 5 Way Falls Count Anywhere Match. But afterwards Yukio Naya knocked him out with a chair. Retired football player Masayuki Okano saw an opportunity and pinned Aoki to become the new Iron Man champion! Danshoku Dieno then got his hands on him and Okano submitted the title to him in order to get away.
Makoto Oishi tweeted about his back injury he suffered during yesterday’s match. He is currently under examinations at a hospital in Shiroishi. He said he feels sore but doesn’t have any numbness in his back. Other than that he’s just waiting for updates at this point. DDT themselves haven’t said anything about it yet.

In a slight reversal of recent fortunes, Yuki Ueno picked up the win in the main event. However, Daisuke Sasaki got away with the DDT Universal Title still in his possession. Ueno promised to get his belt back and also promised The 37KAMIINA will beat DAMNATION for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles tomorrow. Backstage Shunma Katsumata said the unit will show they can get results without needing Konosuke Takeshita on their team. MAO said he will embarrass Tetsuya Endo in his own hometown. When Endo later heard that, his message to MAO was to not say Shiraishi City’s name without his permission! DAMNATION will win and make sure The 37KAMIINA will never step foot in Shiraishi ever again!
Antonio Honda’s antics were enough to convince Tetsuya Endo to join in the fun and do his own Honda mannerisms.
Yukio Naya showed up at the start of the show complaining about being left off the card. When Match #2 took place, Demonio Uno went out of control attacking everybody and forced the match to get cancelled. The mascot Pokotan appeared for the first time in ages to stop him and the match restarted as a 4 Vs 1 Handicap match. Uno couldn’t handle being outnumbered and was unmasked reveal it was Naya all along!

7. King Of DDT 2021 – Final: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Yuji Hino with the Cross-Arm German Suplex (18:09).
Konosuke Takeshita is now a two time King Of DDT winner! He had to go through one of his worst enemies and then one of his largest opponents to make it back to the top. In the final, Yuji Hino stood across the ring and was shocked when the match begun because he was immediately thrown into a Blue Thunder Bomb for a nearfall. Hino took over with heavy Chops and a Sleeper Hold. The match turned into a game of one-upmanship with Elbow Strikes and Lariats thrown everywhere. Takeshita kept himself planted to block the Fuckin’ BOMB but had to become more agile idea to avoid the move by doing a Hurricanrana. Hino was almost pinned with the German Suplex and then found himself in an unusual position when Takeshita caught his arm from a Lariat. Takeshita held onto the arm and then ducked a Short-Range Lariat from Hino’s other arm. That ended up with Takeshita is perfect position to give Hino the Cross-Arm German Suplex to win the match.
Takeshita received his prize money and, more importantly, he will face Jun Akiyama for the KO-D Openweight Title at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021” on 21st August! He said he is satisfied with his performances throughout the tournament and has nothing to be afraid of anymore. He’s been away from the KO-D Title for a long time but is confident to go against Akiyama in their big rematch. Backstage he said the last year and a half being away from the KO-D Title scene has not been a waste of time for him. He wants to fight as the ace of DDT and the future of pro wrestling. He won the tournament with this attitude and with the support of The 37KAMIINA behind him. Meanwhile Hino is impressed that Takeshita had a move kept up his sleeve to beat him. He might have found a kindred spirit in Takeshita and wants to fight him in a rematch. When they does happen, maybe Hino will be the one who will use a secret move to win.
All of 37KAMIINA are aiming to be champions at the same time. Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & MAO have a chance to gain a lot of ground with a KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles shot coming up. But first they had to get past Junretsu. Katsumata kept urging Akiyama to do the NeppoWER!! pose but he refused. Hideki Okatani did it to mock Katsumata. Akiyama finally gave in and did it after he and Makoto Oishi beat Katsumata up. Okatani held his own against the sauna club but Ueno stunned him with the Standing Shining Wizard and MAO got the win with the Cannonball 450°. Katsumata popped a cracker at Akiyama while this was going on. After the match Katsumata pointed to the sky and told the others he could see the aurora wishing for Takeshita’s King Of DDT victory.
Kazuki Hirata ambushed DAMNATION with Tegatana chops during their entrance. They had no effect and DAMNATION all ganged up on him. HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi, Naomi Yoshimura kept the hopes alive for DISASTER BOX but whenever Hirata was tagged in, DAMNATION took over and ganged up on him again. Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie attacked him one by one. But when Nobuhiro Shimatani had his turn, Hirata pinned him out of nowhere with the Miracle One Shot Cradle!
Just like last month, there were bottles of a mysterious drink found backstage by the DDT locker room, this time with the letter D on them. Danshoku Dieno & Yuki Iino (wearing Danshoku tights) drank some on their way to the ring and handed bottles out to some of the other teams. It appeared whoever drank it would become Danshoku. Eruption grabbed some bottles backstage but Yukio Sakaguchi walked out not looking any different. Saki Akai though ran out wearing Danshoku tights and fighting the urge to go grab fans in the audience. She snapped out of it but later had the urge to do the Danshoku Nightmare as a counter to Yuya Koroku’s Sunset Flip. The Iyasareru ran in to stop her from doing anything lewd. Sakaguchi later pulled down his trunks to show he was wearing Danshoku tights all along and he pinned Koroku with the Danshoku Driver. An annoyed Yusuke Okada spanked Iino after the match for being partly responsible for what happened.
The King Of DDT semi-finals happened in the early portion of the show. Hino defeated Kazusada Higuchi to advance in a heavyweight showdown. Higuchi’s reliance on the Brain Claw wasn’t as effective on Hino compared to his previous opponents. Hino used his own Claw Hold to fight back. Higuchi tried to finish him off with the Buchikamashi sumo charge but Hino cut him off with the Lariat and pinned him with the Fuckin’ BOMB. Higuchi was left disappointed over the status quo being maintained by that result because once again he gets knocked out in the semi-final.
Takeshita’s grudge with Daisuke Sasaki was on show in the other semi-final. He also had Mad Paulie to worry about outside the ring. Some of the dirty tactics were avoided and Sasaki even gave Paulie a mistaken Low Blow over it. The 37KAMIINA took Paulie to the back so the match could continue one versus one. Sasaki was able to send Takeshita crashing into Yukinori Matsui meaning that no on was around to call the match when Sasaki gave up to the Modified Chickenwing Facelock. Sasaki hit a Low Blow before Matsui recovered. Takeshita turned things around by catching a Topé Suicida and delivering a Brainbuster in return. After a lot of fighting to get the move locked in, Takeshita finally got Sasaki back in the Modified Chickenwing Facelock and got him to submit. Sasaki vowed to get revenge in 2025 or so but until then he talked about disappearing for a while. Whether he is serious or just giving out another of his empty threats remains to be seen.
In the month when the Olympic Games will finally go ahead, a team of “Olympians” have won the KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles! The squad led by Yoshiaki Yatsu all had handkerchiefs in their gear because it is a necessary item in amateur wrestling. It was Keigo Nakamura’s return from injury and he wrestled in new gear for the occasion. The match fell apart for Team Thoroughbred when their Triple Saber Chop missed its target and all hit Yukio Naya by accident. Akito & Hiroshi Yamato targeted Naya’s knees and left him for Yatsu to finish off. Yatsu did the Iron Knee/Yatsugoye with his prosthetic leg on Naya. Then all of Team Olympian put Team Thoroughbred in four separate Jail Locks until Naya gave up. Sanshiro Takagi wrapped one of the title belts around Nakamura’s waist while Naya did the same for Yatsu. Backstage Akito explained that the Iron Knee/Yatsugoye is a completely original move that utilizes Yatsu’s greatest weapon. It’s an original move because the angle of the strike is different from the Kamigoye. Yatsu bluntly said it’s because of his prosthetic leg but agrees that the move is legal and there is no foul play intended.
Super Sasadango Machine announced the ticket sales for “HIRAGANA MUSCLE 5” on 1st September are doing so well that two additional show performances will take place on the 5th.
The first complete match for “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021” was announced during the show. It is Shunma Katsumata & MAO against Jun Kasai & Chris Brookes in a Hardcore Tag Match!
The next D-Ou Grand Prix will begin on 3rd November in Ota Ward Gymnasium. It is being called D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 Part II.
DDT “SHIRO NO YU PRESENTS CASTLE HOT SPRING ROJO PRO WRESTLING”, 26/06/2021 Kumamoto Castle Natural Hot Spring 0 Fans
1. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Falls Count Anywhere 4 Way Match: Shinya Aoki (c) defeated Chris Brookes, Shunma Katsumata and Yukio Naya when Aoki pinned Naya with the European Clutch (25:39). *V1 for Shinya Aoki.
The folks at DDT have taken a liking to Kumamoto Castle Natural Hot Spring and vice versa. The hot spring’s director invited Shinya Aoki to defend the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title inside the spring. Aoki and his three challengers wasted no time in starting the match.
First they fought in the dressing room but quickly made their way into the public baths. Shunma Katsumata tortured everyone by pouring jugs of hot water over them. Chris Brookes threw him into a castle of chairs for revenge.
Yukio Naya was thrown into a hot shower where he fainted in agony. Katsumata tortured Brookes even further with dripping hot water. Naya knocked all three of his opponents into the electric bath, giving them all electric shocks.
The fight moved over to the bathroom where Toui Kojima was dragged into the chaos. Then it was over to the open-air bath where Katsumata did two Moonsaults. Everyone moved out of the way so he landed in the baths both times. He was able to give Brookes a Death Valley Bomb but Aoki broke the count.
Aoki and Katsumata fought their way into the sauna. Katsumata used a towel to send heat waves into his opponent but all it did was revitalise Aoki! He countered the ¡Hasta la vista! into a Sleeper Hold but Naya broke it up. Naya put Aoki in the Cobra Twist but Aoki skillfully escaped the hold. He then rolled Naya up in a European Clutch in the sauna to get the 3 count for a successful title defence.
Aoki celebrated the win by first taking a bath and then second challenge Brookes for the DDT Extreme Title. He asked Brookes for a handshake but Brookes splashed water into his face and then ran off. It was decided that a Double Title match between Brookes and Aoki will take place on 15th July!

The King Of DDT field has been cut down from eight to four after today. The hardest fought match in Round 2 was the main event where Yuji Hino eliminated HARASHIMA after almost 25 minutes. Hino took everything HARASHIMA threw at him and asked for more. The regular Somato couldn’t work so HARASHIMA went for the Swan Dive version. Hino blocked him before he could pull it off and attempted the Fuckin’ BOMB only for HARASHIMA to escape. HARASHIMA used Leg Kicks and Buzzsaw Kicks to break Hino down for one more Somato. But Hino got the better of him and hit the Fuckin’ BOMB to win. The two gave each other a fist bump after the match as a show of respect.
Daisuke Sasaki has found a winning formula for the tournament. Cheat like hell! Mad Paulie pulled the referee out of the ring when it looked like Jun Akiyama was about to beat Sasaki in minutes. Akiyama fought him off but was vulnerable to a Low Blow. Akiyama countered the Sasaki Hurricanrana into a Power Bomb and went for the Running Knee Strike. Sasaki dodged it, hit another Low Blow when Akiyama stopped himself from colliding with the ref and then rolled up Akiyama for the upset.
In the battle of The 37KAMIINA, handshakes were replaced with the “NeppoWER!!” pose. MAO dug deep into his box of tricks and used Mike Bailey’s Ultima Weapon move to get ahead. Konosuke Takeshita rolled away from the Cannonball 450° and hit some Zahi knee strikes to try and put MAO down for good. MAO kept kicking out of moves until he finally succumbed to the Modified Chickenwing Facelock. Takeshita asked for a handshake after the match and got the NeppoWER pose instead. Backstage MAO said the match will make The 37KAMIINA more united than ever. He will do his best to change his image from the slapstick guy of the group to the strong slapstick guy of the group.
Last year’s winner is out of the tournament! In a rematch from the 2020 semi-final, Kazusada Higuchi gets his revenge by beating Tetsuya Endo in the latest chapter of their rivalry. The use of the Brain Claw was the difference maker here. The move helped Higuchi break out of the Yurikamome Hold. Endo freed himself to go for one last gasp but Higuchi grabbed him in the Brain Claw again and hit a Twisting Brain Claw Slam to get the three count.
At the end of the show the semi-finalists took part in a lottery to determine who will face who in the final rounds on 4th July. Daisuke Sasaki and Konosuke Takeshita both pulled out blue balls so they will fight each other. That left Yuji Hino and Kazusada Higuchi staring each other down to set up the other semi-final. Backstage, Takeshita said it doesn’t matter if he is in good shape or not. He knows he has to stay alert against Sasaki. The match will come down to luck. Sasaki admitted that his version of King’s Road didn’t work today but he’ll use it to crush Takeshita. Higuchi calls Hino a high wall to climb over. He has to break through him because Higuchi never makes it past the semi-finals. Hino didn’t have much of substance to say because he was tired after the main event. He’ll be happy is Sasaki wins and they meet in an all DAMNATION final. But he would like to face Takeshita in the final too.
The 3 Way Tag match had its wacky stuff happening. Nobuhiro Shimatani kept shouting “I’m Nobu!” in response to Shunma Katsumata doing the NeppoWER pose. They then teamed up to double team Naomi Yoshimura when he tried to stop the both of them. Soma Takao picked his moments to Double Stomp opponents and slam Shimatani onto them. Akito grabbed a lot of limbs to twist people into each other. Yuki Ueno convinced Yoshimura to work together again for a Nautilus reunion. When Ueno was done with it he hit Yoshimura with a Missile Dropkick to end the alliance. Yoshimura knocked him out of the ring with a Lariat and left it clear for Akito to submit Shimatani.
Danshoku Dieno announced his goal today was to beat Yusuke Okada so he can fully take over “Big Daddy” Kiyoshi Hayashishita’s restaurant. Then the customers will get to suck meat instead of eating it. After Dieno got his hands on Okada during the match, Big Daddy entered the ring to rescue his friend. Dieno grabbed him and attempted to do the Danshoku Driver but Okada stopped it. Okada went to give Dieno the Lip Lock but Dieno ducked and Big Daddy got it instead. Dieno then pinned Okada with the Gaydo Clutch. After the match Okada told Big Daddy that he will continue to do his best as a DDT wrestler. Big Daddy told him you win some, you lose some. He also admitted Okada is a surprisingly good kisser.
Before the Battle Royal began, some of the wrestlers found a mystery drink in the locker room with a note attached to it. The note said it was a “pick me up” from Mad Paulie. Only Antonio Honda drank it but he said it tasted great. Yukio Sakaguchi also grabbed the bottle when nobody was looking. The effects of the drink were revealed when Mad Anton walked out instead of Honda. Kazuki Hirata won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title from Shinya Aoki by eliminating him early in the match. Hirata was eliminated along with Paulie and Anton when all three of them pulled each other out of the ring to the floor. The ring was empty at this point so it did not count as a title change. There was one last entrant though. Yukio Sakaguchi walked out with a face like Mad Paulie and he won the match by default. He gave a victory speech afterwards but only said “Po.”
Hirata escaped from the Paulies but was chased back into the ring later in the show. Hirata fought off Paulie, Anton and Sakaguchi then celebrated with the Iron Man Title. Suddenly, Shinya Aoki returned with his face also looking like Mad Paulie. Aoki choked out Hirata to win back the title then celebrated with the rest of the Paulies.
The pre-show match mixed together heavyweights with the rookies. Yuki Iino and Yukio Naya cancelled each other out so it came down to Hideki Okatani and Yuya Koroku to break the deadlock. Koroku got a nearfall with a Backslide Pin but Okatani got him in the end with the Northern Lights Suplex.
Yoshiaki Yatsu attended the show to find out who he will team with for the KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles match on 4th July. Hisaya Imabayashi told him that Hiroshi Yamato & Akito both offered to be on the team because they competed in amateur wrestling for the Junior Olympics. Keigo Nakamura then entered the ring asking to join because he too competed in that competition in high school. He was eliminated in the first round but he wants to take on the challenge side by side with the other “Olympians”. Yatsu agreed to team with all three of them and they will be Team (Junior) Olympia!
DDT “AUDIENCE 2021 TOUR IN FUKUOKA (NOON)”, 29/05/2021 Fukuoka Nishitetsu Hall 113 Fans
1. Only Because It Is! DDT Variety Team Specialty Tag Match: Danshoku Dieno & Antonio Honda defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Yuki Iino when Honda pinned Iino after pushing him into Dieno’s Hell Gate (8:07).
2. Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai defeated Makoto Oishi, Yusuke Okada & Keigo Nakamura when Akai pinned Nakamura with the Quetzalcoatl (7:51).
3. Soma Takao defeated Yukio Naya with a Cradle (8:33).
4. Akito & Yuto Aijima defeated Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata when Akito submitted Ueno with a Modified Leg Lock from a Cradle (11:51).

6. Tenjin Specialty! Parental Misfortune Special Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Chris Brookes Vs Konosuke Takeshita & MAO ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
The afternoon half of DDT’s doubleheader in Fukuoka was headlined with a 30 minute draw that took a lot out of everyone. MAO gave HARASHIMA a Package Piledriver onto the apron. That left Chris Brookes to fight The 37KAMIINA on his own for a while. HARASHIMA got back into the match but Konosuke Takeshita was there to meet him face to face. MAO would give HARASHIMA a Stunner (with the “Fire!” pose afterward), Takeshita gave Brookes a Vertical Drop Brainbuster, MAO missed the 450 Cannonball and Brookes put him in the Octopus Hold. Takeshita broke the hold seconds before the time ran out and the match was ruled a draw.
Afterwards when everyone caught their breath MAO told the fans that he left Tokyo last night, arrived in Fukuoka this morning, wrestled for 30 minutes and still has another show to do later today. He then said everybody celebrated Takeshita’s 26th birthday today on the tour bus. Takeshita talked about how as the years go by he, MAO and HARASHIMA are all DDT veterans. He also acknowledged that Brookes is now fully a part of DDT too. Brookes thanked the fans for coming to the show. HARASHIMA joined in and promoted the evening show to come later.
The level of dislike between DISASTER BOX and DAMNATION grew even further one day before the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match takes place. A surprise attack happened from the bell but it was from DISASTER BOX. Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata tried to gang up on Tetsuya Endo but he used a Handspring Double Back Elbow to fight them off. DAMNATION would focus on beating down on both of them until Naomi Yoshimura came to the rescue. His clash with Yuji Hino was heating up when Hirata demanded to tag in, explaining he was reborn to win the 6-Man Tag Titles tomorrow. Hino easily smashed Hirata aside and brought Daisuke Sasaki in for a few extra digs. A missed Lariat from Hino hit Endo instead and Hirata took his chance. Hirata went for his own Lariat but hurt himself when Endo blocked it. A Headbutt, an Overhead Kick and the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb then put Hirata away. After the match Endo called Owashi, Hirata & Yoshimura the bottom three wrestlers in DDT to challenge for the titles. He advised them to cancel the match. Yoshimura grabbed the microphone and said he really wants to win the belts with Owashi & Hirata. Yoshimura then made Hino his target for the title match tomorrow.
Hours before their DDT UNIVERSAL Title match took place, Akito left Yuki Ueno in a bad state by heavily targeting his legs during a tag match. Akito got out of the WR to deliver big damage to Ueno’s legs before applying a Modified Leg Lock. Ueno tried to counter it by Cradling Akito for a pin attempt but the pain was too much for him to bare. Ueno tapped out while the referee was counting the pin, giving Akito’s team the win. Akito mocked Ueno by telling the fans to applaud the champion for being in “good condition” today. He then pointed out that there was not enough time for Ueno to fully recover before the title match happens tonight.
The size difference between Yukio Naya and Soma Takao gave Naya an unexpected advantage. He was too tall for Takao to Low Blow with a backwards kick when Naya tried to give him a Back Drop. Takao had to push Naya into the referee in order to Low Blow him and get away with it.
Keigo Nakamura got overconfident and tried to beat Saki Akai with her own move, the Quetzalcoatl. Akai reversed the move and gave everyone a chance to see how the original is done.
