5. Opening War! ALL OUT Vs STRONG HEARTS!!: CIMA, T-Hawk, El Lindaman & Duan Yingnan defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Iino when T-Hawk pinned Katsumata with the Night Ride (15:26).
6. Shibuya Stream Hall Opening Memorial! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Tetsuya Endo defeated Danshoku Dieno, Jun Kasai & Makoto Oishi when Sasaki submitted Oishi with the Cross Facelock (13:53).

The first preview battle between Danshoku Dieno and Daisuke Sasaki saw DAMNATION go on top when Sasaki submitted Dieno’s buddy Makoto Oishi. Due to the earlier appearance of STRONG HEARTS on the show, Oishi wanted his team to show everybody what real “STRONG HEARTS” look like. It involved Dieno & Oishi positioning themselves against the turnbuckles with the back of their shorts pulled down. Jun Kasai was supposed to throw his opponents into them but he got thrown headfirst instead. Another key moment of the match saw Sasaki resisting Dieno’s Crotch Grab. However Dieno’s Lip Lock was still effective. Tetsuya Endo wiped out Dieno & Kasai with the Sasuke Special. Sasaki then won the match by trapping Oishi in the Cross Facelock. Sasaki called Dieno a relic of the past and the reason Sasaki was succesful today is because Dieno couldn’t make him erect with his moves. Dieno couldn’t believe it and swore he will get Sasaki erect the next time they fight. Dieno will gradually get Sasaki to a 10 degree angle, then a 20 degree angle and finally a 30 degree angle just like Oishi! According to Dieno, Oishi is always at 30 degrees.

The first meeting between ALL OUT and STRONG HEARTS was a full fledged 4 Vs 4 Tag Match that ended in defeat for the home team. T-Hawk got the win by pinning Shunma Katsumata with the Night Ride. Konosuke Takeshita admitted that STRONG HEARTS brought the heat today and he will use the loss as motivation when he faces CIMA at Sumo Hall. Meanwhile Yuki Iino took offence at El Lindaman sneaking in a low blow by kicking the rope while Iino was climbing into the ring. Lindaman denied any foul play and blamed Iino for getting in the way of the rope like an idiot. T-Hawk asked ALL OUT to bring more heat for their matches in October. Akito marked T-Hawk as his target for the Sumo Hall 6-Man Tag. Maybe under other circumstances they could have gotten along because they have similar hairstyles. Too bad, Akito’s going to hunt him down instead.

HARASHIMA said he had a good time teaming with Daichi Hashimoto today. He thinks it was a waste that they were only teaming for one match. They also enjoyed laughing at Antonio Honda’s jokes during the match so they got to enjoy themselves while they stood on the apron waiting to tag in. Win or lose, Honda will continue to tell vulgar jokes whenever he can.

Maki Itoh is still leading the Dramatic General Election by a wide margin but inside the ring she still can’t get a win. This week she lost to Yuna Manase when she missed the Flying Big Head and got pinned with a Neck Screw Hold. Itoh is feeling no pressure with leading the votes. If she can’t become the Atsuko Maeda of the idol world she can become the Atsuko Maeda of the wrestling world instead.

Nobody is more disappointed in MAO’s injury than Sanshiro Takagi. With his Sumo Hall opponent nowhere to be seen today, Takagi has nobody to take his frustrations out of. Gota Ihashi did his best to fill in for MAO. He wore MAO’s wrestling gear and tried to replicate his moveset to mixed results. Mike Bailey was left confused by the turn of events and tried to convince everyone that Ihashi wasn’t MAO. Even Bailey couldn’t resist stomping on Ihashi after Ihashi lost them the match. Takagi doesn’t care how hurt MAO is, he is only thinking about destroying him at Sumo Hall!

Kazuki Hirata and Nobuhiro Shimatani got into a Hirata GO! dance battle. Hirata got the better of Shimatani and climbed the turnbuckles to finish him off. That was when Toru Owashi tagged himself in and pinned Shimatani with La Magistral Cradle, leaving Hirata standing on the turnbuckles.

Mizuki Watase did well to avoid the Takatonic but Masahiro Takanashi was able to pin him with the Hangover!! with two minutes left on the match clock. The question that needs to be asked now is what should Watase do after the RENEGADES split up?

DDT was treated to a return appearance of Rintaro Oyaizu from The Bachelor Japan. One month ago Oyaizu was on Maji Manji and had his heart captured by Aja Kong. He was invited back by Makoto Oishi to solve a problem within The Compliance. Oishi wants Oyaizu to hold a dinner party where they teach Antonio Honda and Kazusada Higuchi how to be “mote mote”. In other words, how to become popular with the opposite sex. Oyaizu is mote mote. According to Oishi he is also mote mote and his recent marriage is proof of that. Oyaizu revealed he is already helping out a young DDT wrestler with this, Yuki Ueno! Honda & Higuchi were furious and things got heated until Hisaya Imabayashi stepped in. The solution is a 6-Man Tag between the Mote Mote Army and the Not Mote Army on 2nd October. Oishi, Ueno & a Mote Mystery Partner against Higuchi, Honda and a Not Mote Mystery Partner!

6. Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima defeated Reika Saiki, Maki Itoh & Miu when Yamashita pinned Miu with the Attitude Adjustment (17:55).

Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima returned from their American adventure to defeat Reika Saiki, Maki Itoh & Miu in today’s main event. Their speech after the match was interrupted by Itoh who demanded a singles match with Mizuki. She will get what she wants and the match was booked for 22nd September. Sakazaki told Itoh that Mizuki is hers now. Yamashita & Nakajima cooled the situation down by thanking everybody for supporting them and Tokyo Joshi Pro. They promise to do their best so everybody around the world can watch them.

The America love spread over to Yuna Manase and Hyper Misao. Both of them put their heads together to create the Queen Of USA Match. Along with the regular wrestling rules, the match could also be won when somebody wears a USA hat and correctly dances to the song “USA” by DA PUMP. There were points when Daisuke Kiso and Sayuri Nanba had the hat put on their head. Eventually both Manase and Misao both wore hats and danced while they fought until Koda judged Manase to be the winner.

Azusa Takigawa has renamed the Christie Agape. It is now called the Broadcaster. On 22nd September, Takigawa will face Yamashita for her 3rd Anniversary Match.

*Danshoku Dieno fails in V1. Meiko Satomura cashes in her Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet. Meiko Satomura becomes the 66th KO-D Openweight Champion!

The entire direction of DDT on the road towards Sumo Hall took a massive shift today when Meiko Satomura defeated Danshoku Dieno to become the first ever female KO-D Openweight Champion! There were no games or tricks up Dieno’s sleeve for this match, he took the fight to Satomura as hard as he ever did. Even the Danshoku Nightmare used during the match was performed more like a heavy Sit Down Splash rather than just the usual humiliating squats. Satomura targeted Dieno’s shoulder but struggled when Dieno’s size advantage came into play, allowing him to absorb her kicks. The one thing Dieno didn’t count on was Satomura’s determination. She kicked out of three different Danshoku Drivers: the standard version, the Gotch-Style version and a Screwdriver version. A Vertical Drop Brainbuster did big damage to Satomura’s neck but Dieno didn’t go for the cover. Instead he went to puch Satomura into the corner with his Ippatsu move. Normally that would be a hip thrust but since his opponent was a woman, he kicked her into the corner instead. That had no effect and Satomura backed into him with an Overhead Kick. The critical moment came when Satomura did the Scorpio Rising and hit Dieno’s injured shoulder. With Dieno to hurt to defend himself, Satomura used all her power to give him a Death Valley Driver then hit one more Scorpio Rising direct to Dieno’s head for the three count.

Satomura celebrated becoming the first woman to hold the KO-D Title. Dieno requested a rematch but Satomura told him there is already somebody else she wants to defend the belt against. Shigehiro Irie! Satomura had wanted that match to be for the belt before Dieno pulled off his plan. Irie however cannot accept it. There is one thing he wants more than to win back the KO-D Title and main event Sumo Hall. He wants a singles match with Dieno, the man he blames for changing the DDT that he loved into something else! Satomura took offence to this and asked if Irie is running away from her challenge. The arguing continued until Sanshiro Takagi came down to the ring to sort it out. After congratulating Satomura for her accomplishment today, he looked at the story unfurling in front of him. Satomura wants to fight Irie, Irie wants to fight Dieno and Dieno wants to main event Sumo Hall as the champion. Takagi’s solution is a 3 Way Elimination Match with the championship on the line at the 23rd September Korakuen Hall show! The winner will without any doubt go on to main event “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” in October.

With the match agreed upon by all parties, Satomura was left to close out the show with her victory speech. She will soon become the centerpiece of Sumo Hall. She told the women of the world that the time to endure is already over. She will rise to fight the strongest men and women as the first ever female KO-D Champion!

The return of DISASTER BOX is off to a good start. HARASHIMA has an idea to improve the group and that’s to invite Kazuki Hirata to join them! Toru Owashi didn’t approve of the idea because he thought he would never have to deal with Hirata ever again. HARASHIMA cited Hirata’s performance in the King Of DDT tournament as well as a recent pinfall victory over Yukio Sakaguchi as the reasons to give him a chance. That success also got Hirata coverage in the latest issue of Shukan Puroresu so he has to be a good wrestler now. Yuki Ueno was neutral about the idea but Owashi was against it. Everyone agreed to a tag team match on next week’s episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” to determine if Hirata can join. It will be HARASHIMA & Hirata Vs Owashi & Ueno.

At first the size difference between Gota Ihashi and Shinya Aoki worked in Ihashi’s favour. He was able to stay standing from a Sleeper Hold and then squash Aoki with a Splash. It all went wrong when Ihashi missed a Moonsault and was open for Aoki to tap him out with a Foot Choke. When the two were finished thanking each other for the match, Kota Umeda entered the ring and challenged Aoki to a match as part of Umeda’s “Mad Dog” series. Aoki asked if Umeda had recovered from his injury and the two agreed to a bout for the 17th September episode of Maji Manji. Umeda promises it will be a way more serious match compared to what Aoki experienced today.

Cherry won the 4 Way Match but was surprised to find out it didn’t mean she would get to date Rintaro Oyaizu from The Bachelor. When Hisaya Imabayashi put the match together he never agreed to the stipulation that the winner automatically gets Oyaizu. Instead Oyaizu would get to choose whoever impressed him the most. In a shocking twist, Oyaizu apologised to all of the women in the ring because there is another attractive woman he saw today working as the lighting assistant at ringside. The assistant revealed herself to be Aja Kong! She got the lighting assistant job because DDT stopped booking her to wrestle. When Kong and Oyaizu left to go out on their date to any place that has meat, the four women in the ring all attacked Imabayashi for wasting their time.

The combined firepower of the RENEGADES were too much for KUDO, Masahiro Takanashi & Keisuke Ishii to handle. Mizuki Watase has added the Koji Cutter to his moveset and he shouts “Kojikoji-kun” during the move. Takanashi was pummeled with a Lariat from Ryan Davidson, a corner to corner Dropkick from Watase and then the Beast Bomber from Irie for the finish.

Kazusada Higuchi encouraged Hirata to wear the Hirata GO! glasses during their tag match because he wanted to see him dance. Hirata didn’t want to do it because he was going to win without them. So Higuchi knocked him out of the way and wore the glasses himself. Higuchi’s dancing was very different but was fun enough to get Mike Bailey & MAO also involved. The weird dancing annoyed Hirata and distracted him enough to get rolled into a School Boy. Hirata kicked out but then got pinned by a Buzzsaw Kick from Bailey. After the match Bailey & MAO announced their new team name. They are now the Moonlight Express! The name came about because both of them would like to go to the moon where there is less gravity. They can then jump very high like they do on trampolines.

Yuki Iino was building up momentum when he hit Mad Paulie with the Spear. He went to repeat the move but the second Spear was blocked by Paulie’s Lou Thesz Press. A Backflip and the Reverse Splash got DAMNATION the win over ALL OUT.

Antonio Honda’s Gongitsune went badly wrong to the point where his hand got stuck pinching his own nipple. Honda had to go out into the audience to get help letting go.

Some unit organisations were made for the Dramatic General Election. Dieno formed The Compliance with Makoto Oishi, Antonio Honda, Kazusada Higuchi and Super Sasadango Machine as the other members. Each member has a different role in the group all with the goal of keeping DDT under control and out of trouble. Oishi’s job is to crack down on wrestlers’ romantic relationships with women, Honda is cracking down on animal cruelty, Higuchi is cracking down on anti-social behaviour and Sasadango is cracking down on internet flame wars.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga announced that he and the currently absent Michael Nakazawa are bringing back Booing for their annual election run. This time around Ihashi will not be a part of the group. Instead Matsunaga promises a super big mystery wrestler will join himself and Nakazawa to form Booing 2018. Nakazawa is also a last second entry in the singles portion of the election. He just missed the cutoff date but DDT decided to let him in because they think he isn’t going to get many votes anyway.

6. KO-D Openweight Title: Danshoku Dieno defeated Shigehiro Irie (c) with the Gaydo Clutch (1:37).
*Super Sasadango Machine gives his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract to Danshoku Dieno. Shigehiro Irie fails in V1. Danshoku Dieno cashes in his Right To Challenge Gauntlet. Danshoku Dieno becomes the 65th KO-D Openweight Champion!

Today’s episode sparked plenty of changes in the DDT landscape. There was the planned roster switch-up freshening up some of the units but some added surprises completely changed the course of as we head towards the King Of DDT finale. Things seemed normal during the main event. Shigehiro Irie made his first appearance in DDT since his latest US tour and after the title loss incident in Ohio he had the KO-D Openweight Title with him safe and sound. He and Jason Kincaid were victorious over Shuji Ishikawa & Mad Paulie but it was a close call. Irie kicked out of a Double Choke Slam and the Reverse Splash. It was only when he hit a desperate Beast Bomber to Paulie that he was able to win the match. Ishikawa said he got to have a strong match after spending time away from DDT. He told everyone when he is the Triple Crown Champion he would like to face Irie again.

When DAMNATION left the ring, Meiko Satomura came out with her eyes set on Irie. With the yellow Right To Challenge Gauntlet in her possession, Satomura challenged Irie to a title match on the 28th August episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI”! An exhausted Irie got up and accepted the challenge. But when they were about to shake hands, Danshoku Dieno interrupted them with important news. Producer Dieno will not accept Irie Vs Satomura as the next KO-D Title match because the next title match will happen right now! Dieno then suddenly pulled out the blue Gauntlet belonging to Super Sasadango Machine. A video played on the screen of Sasadango announcing that he is giving his Gauntlet to Dieno as a gift. It now belongs to Dieno and he is cashing it in straight away!

The match began and Dieno immediately gave Irie the Danshoku Driver several times. Irie kicked out of them and fought back. He hit the Beast Bomber but when Irie went for the pin, Dieno caught him in the Gaydo Clutch and pinned him! Danshoku Dieno is the new KO-D Champion! A furious Irie had to be held back by the rest of RENEGADES until they finally got him to leave the ring. He still tossed a chair from the front row at Dieno as he was leaving. Dieno taunted Irie by telling him what he did today was all in the rules. Dieno waited so long and played the good boss all this time so he could pull this off. This plan was why Dieno did not enter King Of DDT this year. He may be the weakest champion of any wrestling company right now but that doesn’t matter. He is going straight to the main event of “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” as the champion! Just one problem. Meiko Satomura is still here with the last Right To Challenge Gauntlet (more about that below) and her intention to challenge the champion on 28th August still stands. She told Dieno she will win the KO-D Title, defend it against Irie and then defend it at the main event of Sumo Hall!

The DNA Draft and resulting roster reshuffle took place at the start of the episode. It was already decided that Daiki Shimomura would join BASARA and Kouki Iwasaki would join Ganbare☆Wrestling. Rekka also announced he will be leaving Japan for a while so he will not be transferring to another brand. The remaining DNA wrestlers were given the chance to nominate the group or unit they wished to join and it would be up to those groups to accept them or not. Some of the obvious moves were made first. Mizuki Watase chose RENEGADES (side note: Ryan Davidson has also joined the unit) and Shunma Katsumata picked ALL OUT. No surprises there. MAO wants to continue teaming with Mike Bailey so he picked the default DDT Sekigun group. Yuki Ueno also picked DDT. Naomi Yoshimura didn’t pick anybody. Instead he will go wherever he wants, whenever he wants. Konosuke Takeshita of all people asked him to join ALL OUT instead. Yoshimura declined because he has no motivation to fight with them. He’d rather fight against them. Yuki Iino asked if he could join ALL OUT. Akito wasn’t convinced so he would use their match later as an audition. Kota Umeda chose to stick with DDT. He will be on the same side as his old unit Shuten-dōji and he wants to set a fire under his former older brothers. Nobuhiro Shimatani declared himself the leader of DAMNATION but Daisuke Sasaki said the unit doesn’t need him. Shimatani then nominated Tokyo Joshi Pro but their producer Tetsuya Koda outright refused him. Shimatani went back to DAMNATION and promised to find a beautiful blonde woman for Sasaki, cook delicious meat for Mad Paulie, handcraft a new ring costume for Soma Takao, give Tetsuya Endo a better haircut than the one he currently has and teach new songs to Shuji Ishikawa. Sasaki finally gave in and inducted Shimatani into DAMNATION, but only as a temporary manager. Good enough!

In the middle of the draft, T2Hide announced they are splitting up. Kazuki Hirata is doing well without them although he protested the decision. HARASHIMA approached Toru Owashi and asked him to reform Disaster BOX, their old unit from the 2000s. Owashi liked the idea but they needed a third member to make them a unit. They nominated Yuki Ueno. He has no idea what Disaster BOX is or how important they are in DDT’s history but ok, he’ll join them instead of the default DDT side.

Now all of that craziness has been touched upon, let’s get into the rest of the show. The eight remaining King Of DDT participants met in an 4-Way Tag Match. Some of the pairings were unusual and led to a mix up. MAO & Mike Bailey were on two different teams but in the heat of the action they worked together to wipe out a few of the other wrestlers with a Double Moonsault to the outside. Kazuki Hirata tried to continue his miracle run by going straight at Tetsuya Endo with Cradles but in the end he was pinned by Endo with a Swan Dive 450 Splash. Despite winning the match, Endo says he does not feel any momentum from today’s result. That stuff means nothing when you’re only in the Quarter Finals.

Judging from his earlier performance on the episode you wouldn’t have thought Dieno would end up as champion by the end of it. He got into his usual shenanigans with Antonio Honda against KUDO & Masahiro Takanashi. Honda’s double Gongistune backfired when KUDO & Takanashi grabbed both of his hands and made Honda poke himself in both eyes. They then finised him off with the Takatonic followed by the Diving Double Knee Drop.

It turns out the Right To Challenge Gauntlet rules do apply overseas. Meiko Satomura apologised to the fans for losing the red Gauntlet during her recent visit to America for the Mae Young Classic. I’d go into more detail about the possible consequences for that but it veers into spoiler territory and I’m not in the mood to get into arguments about that right now. To make up for it Satomura made it her goal today to win another Gauntlet so she can challenge for the KO-D Title. Good thing she was in a match against the holder of the yellow Gauntlet Makoto Oishi. Satomura pinned Oishi with the Scorpio Rising and now holds the last remaining Right To Challenge Gauntlet in Japan. Before this match Sanshiro Takagi said if his team won then he would set up the Meiko Young Classic, a tournament for all women wrestlers over the age of 40. Meiko Satomura is 38.

Iino impressed ALL OUT enough in his match to be accepted into their unit. He hit Akito with the Spear but Akito grabbed onto Iino’s leg and pulled him down into a Leg Lock to make him submit.

There was an extra special guest appearing on the show this week. Rintaro Oyaizu from Season 2 of The Bachelor Japan greeted everyone and very quickly attracted attention from several wrestlers. Cherry, Yuna Manase, Yuki Kamifuku and Maki Itoh all entered the ring wanting to woo Oyaizu. They all agreed to fight each other in a 4 Way Match on 28th August with the winner getting a date with The Bachelor.

1. Mizuki defeated Miu with a Facelock (6:58).
2. Hyper Misao defeated Hinano with the Hypami Returns (6:51).
3. Nodoka-oneesan & Yuki Aino defeated Shoko Nakajima & Raku when Nodoka pinned Raku with the Backflip (10:47).
4. Sakisama defeated Yuki Kamifuku with the Versailles Foot Choke (0:30).
4a. Rematch: Sakisama defeated Yuki Kamifuku with a Half Crab Hold (5:29).
5. Yuka Sakazaki defeated Azusa Takigawa with the Osaekomi Backslide (9:02).
6. Yuu & Yuna Manase defeated Miyu Yamashita & Hikari when Yuu submitted Hikari with the Katahajime (13:08).

Yuu was ruthless in the main event! She targeted Miyu Yamashita with the Katahajime even though Yamashita was not the legal wrestler at that point in the match. That was all part of Yuu’s plan because that meant she didn’t have to let go when Yamashita grabbed onto the ropes! When Yuu was finished with Yamashita, she then put Hikari in the Katahajime to make her submit. Yuu then told Yamashita she is looking forward to their TOKYO Princess Title match on 25th August. Yuna Manase doesn’t have a match made for the show yet but she is looking forward to finding out what it will be.

Azusa Takigawa is feeling like herself again and said she felt like she’s been in a deep sleep for the last nine months. She struggled a little bit with dizziness as she wrestled Yuka Sakazaki but eventually got back into the swing of things. Although she is no longer Azusa Christie, Takigawa still attempted the Christie Agape finisher but it was countered into the Osaekomi Backslide to win the match for Sakazaki.

Sakisama was able to beat Yuki Kamifuku so quickly because Kamifuku had the nerve to grab a piece of Sakisama’s costume when the match started. Kamifuku pleaded for a rematch or else she would be fired for her poor performance. She did a little better in the restart but Sakisama made her give up again to make it two wins in a row.

Since today was the last time Nodoka-oneesan would be using her gimmick in the Kanto region she wanted Sanshiro Takagi and Tetsuya Koda to join in the Ping Pong Pang Exercise. Koda agreed to do it when Nodoka said it would impress his favourite idol Marika Makino.

Hyper Misao bought five copies of Young Jump magazine so she could vote for Hinano in an idol contest the magazine is doing. Hinano later drank water and imitated a Drunken Fist fighting style.

1. Miu defeated Raku with the Canadian Backbreaker (7:15).
2. Yuna Manase defeated Hinano with the Kakato Drop (5:50).
3. 3 Way Match: Hyper Misao defeated Yuki Kamifuku and Hikari when Misao pinned Kamifuku with La Magistral Cradle (6:15).
4. Shoko Nakajima defeated Yuki Aino with the Northern Lights Suplex (10:14).
5. Miyu Yamashita, Maki Ito & Mizuki defeated Sakisama, Azusa Christie & Martha when Mizuki pinned Christie with the Aquamarine (14:50).
6. Yuka Sakazaki & Rika Tatsumi defeated Yuu & Nodoka-oneesan when Tatsumi submitted Nodoka with the Dragon Sleeper (15:20).

Before the main event began Nodoka-oneesan told everyone she only has a few matches left before she graduates from her current gimmick. She then got booed when she said that everybody loves to work for a company. Yuka Sakazaki & Rika Tatsumi had some fun at Nodoka’s expense by stomping on her while doing the Ping Pong Pang exercises. Yuu tried to change the tide but she was kept away and Tatsumi made Nodoka submit to the Dragon Sleeper. After the match Sakazaki and Tatsumi said that it is hot as hell lately but everyone should still come to the Beer Garden show on 4th August.

NEO Biishiki-gun is falling apart! Azusa Christie’s jealousy of Martha reared its ugly head again and caused problems for the team. The worst happened when Christie grabbed Martha’s mop and accidentally hit Sakisama with it! That distraction led to Mizuki pinning Christie with the Aquamarine. Christie blamed Martha for Sakisama’s beautiful face getting defiled. However Sakisama stood up for Martha and scolded Christie for complaining so much. She thinks it is time for Christie to get her reeducation treatment again. Yukio Saint Laurent entered the ring and was ordered to use his injection on Christie. Laurent instead pointed his syringe at Sakisama! Realising what was happening, Sakisama told Tetsuya Koda to make a match between Sakisama & Martha against Christie & Laurent at the 4th August Beer Garden show. Christie must now fight Sakisama but in her mind this is the chance to show all of her love to her.

At first Hyper Misao and Yuki Kamifuku teamed up on Hikari because they are part of Up Up Girls (Fake) and Hikari is more of a real idol than they are. That plan went away when they kept on hitting each other by accident. Kamifuku eventually decided to sit out the rest of the match but that was only so she could try to steal the win when the other two got tired. Misao then caught Kamifuku with La Magistral Cradle to get the win.

Hinano tried to make Yuna Manase drop her guard by crying whenever Manase attacked her. Manase soon did the same herself to even the score.

2. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Yuka Sakazaki defeated Rika Tatsumi with the Magical Magical Girl Splash (13:25).
3. 3 Way Match: Yuna Manase defeated Hyper Misao and Yuki Aino when Manase pinned Aino with the Kakato Drop (8:09).
4. Sakisama, Azusa Christie & Martha defeated Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Kamifuku & Hikari when Sakisama submitted Hikari with the Versailles Foot Choke (12:19).
5. Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh & Mizuki defeated Miu, Raku & Hinano when Ito pinned Hinano with the DDT (10:28).
6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Final: Yuu defeated Yuka Sakazaki with the Last Ride (9:44).

For the 2nd time Yuu has won the TOKYO Princess Cup! The final rounds took place today with Yuu beating Nodoka-oneesan and Yuka Sakazaki beating Rika Tatsumi to set up the main event. Yuu’s big win happened when she caught Sakazaki in midair and Power Bombed her. She then hit the Last Ride Power Bomb for the three count. Yuu let out a big cry when she won.

Yuu said she first won the Princess Cup two years ago. She wasn’t afraid of anything back then because she was undefeated and she had a lot of fun with wrestling. This time however there is a lot on her mind. She lost the TOKYO Princess Title, the girls around her a getting stronger and there are new juniors underneath her filling up the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster. It has her wondering where her place in Tokyo Joshi is. But the one thing she can do without fail is believe in her strength. She believes in her wrestling and is happy to be a part of Tokyo Joshi. She might be in a better place now than she was two years ago. That leads to something else Yuu wants to do. She called out Miyu Yamashita and challenged her to a TOKYO Princess Title match! Yuu believes she has to be at a certain level to fight for the championship and today she reached it. Yamashita said of course she accepts the challenge. Yamashita knows her strength the best and told Yuu not to limit herself. Yamashita wants both herself and Yuu to be at their mental and physical best until one of them runs out. The match will take place on the 25th August Korakuen Hall show. Yuu promised she will be standing in the ring at the end of the summer as the TOKYO Princess Champion!

In the semi-finals, Nodoka was beaten with the Katahajime but she never gave up. The referee had to stop the match when she lost consciousness. Nodoka thanked everyone for their support and said she changed a lot of minds in just three matches. She wants to take the next step this summer.

Tatsumi threw everything she had at Sakazaki including a surprise attack to start the match. Sakazaki was able to escape the Dragon Sleeper by rolling out of it. She then countered the Dragon Twist Of Fate into the Merry Go Round. That put Tatsumi in position for the Magical Magical Girl Splash to give Sakazaki the victory. It was a blow for Tatsumi because she anticipated reaching the final.

Maki Itoh Headbutted her way out of trouble and score the win for her team.

NEO Biishiki-gun won their match in spite of some tension between Azusa Christie and Martha. Christie got in the way whenever Martha & Sakisama did double team moves together. Hikari from the Up Up Girls almost got a surprise win over Sakisama with a Cobra Twist and a Sleeper Hold but Sakisama eventually made her give up to the Versailles Foot Choke. Christie and Martha continued to bother each other after the match so Sakisama ordered both of them to sit down. She told both of them how ugly they were acting today. Sakisama loves both of them equally. Christie protested and said she only wants Sakisama to love her. Sakisama asked Christie if she trusts her and Christie eventually replied with “Only Saki’s love is the truth”. Now calm, Christie admitted she may have judged Martha too soon. She promises to be more strong, friendly and beautiful for Sakisama in the future. Christie and Martha reconciled and look to be back on the same page. For now.

Hyper Misao thinks Yuki Aino needs a heroic awakening to win a match so she gave her a superhero mask similar to her own to wear. When Aino put the mask on, she found out that the mask allows Misao to talk directly to her heart. Yuki Aino turned into Hyper Yuki and she did a lot of Misao’s mannerisms. The power did help Aino when she fought Yuna Manase but every time she made progress, Misao ran in to try and steal the pin. Aino had enough of Misao taking advantage of her and wrestled the rest of the match without the mask. But without the extra power, Aino fell to Manase and lost the match.

Two new trainees introduced themselves. Mahiro is from Gunma. Himawari Unagi is a Youtuber and an actor. Both girls began their training in May.

A one day tag team lottery tournament will take place at the Tokyo Joshi Pro Beer Garden show on 4th August. The Yeah! Metcha Tag Team Tournament 2018 Summer will feature between 6 to 8 teams made up of random pairings. The winning team will receive a gorgeous prize named after the summer.

Priscilla Kelly returns to Tokyo Joshi in August. Her confirmed shows so far are 18/8 in Nagoya and 25/8 in Korakuen.

2. 3 Way Match: Shoko Nakajima defeated Rika Tatsumi and Yuki Aino when Nakajima pinned Aino with the Northern Lights Suplex (7:55).
3. Azusa Christie defeated Yuki Kamifuku with the Christie Agape (5:36).
4. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Nodoka-oneesan defeated Yuna Manase with the Back Flip (7:58).
5. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Hyper Misao defeated Saki-sama by Disqualification when Saki-sama unmasked Misao and was caught with a weapon (10:01).
6. Mizuki & Hinano defeated Yuka Sakazaki & Raku when Mizuki pinned Raku with the 2nd Rope Diving Foot Stomp (9:41).
7. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Miyu Yamashita defeated Maki Itoh with the Attitude Adjustment (12:01).
8. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Yuu defeated Reika Saiki with the Last Ride (11:55).

The winners of the two previous Tokyo Princess Cups faced off in the main event. Yuu blocked the Jackhammer and sent Reika Saiki into the corner with the John Yuu dropkick. She then finished her off with the Last Ride to advance. Yuu said it’s been a long time since she last won a main event match so she is really happy today! She can feel her own momentum returning and Tokyo Joshi Pro itself is getting bigger because of all the hard work everyone is doing. Yuu wants to win the tournament so Tokyo Joshi can grow more by using her kind of pro wrestling.

Miyu Yamashita and Nodoka-oneesan also advanced with wins over Maki Itoh and Yuna Manase respectively. Yamashita noted that Itoh has improved since their last match against each other. Itoh was more driven and Yamashita admits she had difficulty escaping from Itoh’s Inverted Crab Hold. Itoh is upset over the defeat but she assures everyone she will never break because she will not lose forever. Nodoka is happy to win her match and wants to win the next one because she is greedy.

Hyper Misao came up with several traps to use against Saki-sama. She held something wrapped up in cloth and claimed it was Saki-sama’s possessions. Misao asked Saki-sama to forfeit the match if she wanted her stuff back. Saki-sama didn’t fall for it. Misao then went over to the announce table and dressed Sayuri Namba with Misao’s old mask and jacket to trick Saki-sama into thinking Namba was Misao. That also didn’t work. Saki-sama chased Misao up a nearby staircase and Misao taped Saki-sama’s hands to the railings to get her counted out. Saki-sama escaped by slipping her hands out of her gloves and made it back to the ring in time. Misao grabbed a chair but she got into a back and forth moment with the referee over it. That ended when Saki-sama hit the ref with a Big Boot by mistake. Misao then taped Saki-sama’s arms and feet together. Azusa Christie came in with scissors and cut Saki-sama free but Misao took out a spray can and blinded both girls with it. She then woke the ref up, unmasked herself and gave the mask and the spray can to Saki-sama. When the ref regained his bearings he saw that Misao was huddled over unmasked, Saki-sama was holding both the mask and a spray can and Christie was armed with a pair of scissors. He had no choice but to disqualify Saki-sama and award the match to Misao!

The 2nd Round matches made today are Yuu Vs Hyper Misao and Miyu Yamashita Vs Nodoka-oneesan. Yuu said she envied Misao for getting to wrestle Jun Kasai in a Hardcore Match. Misao gets to wrestle in matches that nobody else in Toyko Joshi get to do. so she is experienced in ways that Yuu is not. Yamashita wonders if Nodoka has progressed like Ito has. Yamashita is confident that her own power is enough to beat Nodoka regardless.

Yuki Kamifuku and Azusa Chrisite quizzed each other over who knew Saki-sama better during their match. Christie eventually had enough of Kamifuku’s antics and beat her with the Christie Agape.

Hikari won the Up Up Girls Take A Chance match so she qualifies for the Princess Cup. She is expected to face Marika Kobashi in her 1st Round match on 9th June. Speaking of Kobashi, she was pulled from today’s show because of a left shoulder injury she suffered during training yesterday. She is hoping to recover in time for her Princess Cup match next week.

Because of Kobashi’s injury and Maho Kurone’s absence, the scheduled 6-Woman Tag for Match #6 was turned into a regular tag match.
