3. Naomi Yoshimura & Toru Owashi defeated Yuji Hino & Hideki Okatani when Yoshimura pinned Okatani with the Throwaway Power Bomb (14:00).
4. Antonio Honda, Kazuki Hirata & Saki Akai defeated Shunma Katsumata, MAO & Toui Kojima when Hirata pinned Kojima with the Miracle One Shot Cradle (11:16).
5. DDT Extreme Title – No Seconds Rule: Shinya Aoki (c) defeated Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari with the Sleeper Hold (8:45).
*V5 for Shinya Aoki.
6. DAMNATION T.A Vs CDK!: Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul Vs Masahiro Takanashi & Chris Brookes ended in a No Contest (12:03).
7. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Jun Akiyama & HARASHIMA defeated Tetsuya Endo, Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ueno when Takeshita pinned Higuchi with the German Suplex (19:32).

Ever since November Konosuke Takeshita has been learning the Jumping Knee from Jun Akiyama. Today is the day it was finally passed down from mentor to student! In the dying moments of the main event, Akiyama grabbed Kazusada Higuchi and told Takeshita it was time. He whipped Higuchi across the ring and Takeshita hit the Jumping Knee for the first time. The move by itself wasn’t enough to end the match so Takeshita had to pin Higuchi with a high angle German Suplex. Takeshita said he was honored to have the move Jumbo Tsuruta passed down to Akiyama now be passed down to him. He promised to use it carefully from here on out and is confident it will lead to victory against Yuji Okabayashi later this month. The result gave Tetsuya Endo something to think about. He is now the leader of BURNING but couldn’t tame the ferocious beast that is Jun Akiyama. It made Endo realize he needs to get stronger.

Things went overboard between DAMNATION T.A and CDK. There were dueling attempts at the Crossface Lock by both Daisuke Sasaki and Masahiro Takanashi on each other. Fighting went on outside the ring where Sasaki grabbed his DDT Universal Title and Baliyan Akki suddenly distracted him so Chris Brookes could hit a Topé. More fighting broke out between Sasaki, Takanashi, Brookes, Akki and MJ Paul that the match had to be called off. Sasaki complained about the “piece of trash from Ichigaya” getting involved in his business. Takanashi is standing up for his friends. Although he is a DDT wrestler, he wants to win the Universal Title on behalf of ChocoPro!

Nobody else was allowed at ringside for the DDT Extreme Title match. What that meant was we ended up with Yumehito Imanari fighting fairly and seriously against Shinya Aoki. A Sleeper Hold rendered Imanari unconscious and Aoki let go so he could pin him for the three count. Even he admitted Imanari’s performance today was “fantastic”.

After Kazuki Hirata won the match for his team, Toru Owashi decided to interview him in the ring. Hirata said it was great to have finally surpassed Toui Kojima. But when Owashi asked about his upcoming match against Shuji Kondo, Hirata got nervous. Owashi motivated him by saying as long as he has “Tokyo GO!” he has a chance to win. Hirata agreed and danced to the song until Kondo suddenly appeared inside the ring behind him! Hirata tried to escape but Kondo knocked him down with the King Kong Lariat. He then gently said he is looking forward to their match in Yoyogi.

Naomi Yoshimura is gaining ground on Yuji Hino little by little. He has one more non-title match against him to prepare for but Bodyguard will be there too. He says if HARASHIMA isn’t worried about it then neither is he.

It was announced that The 37KAMIINA will have their own produce show in Shinjuku on 15th February. Also Shunma Katsumata & MAO are getting their own regular show on WRESTLE UNIVERSE called “Super Encounter” beginning on 15th December. The program includes elements of Rojo Pro Wrestling matches between Katsumata & MAO.

Every match on the show had a 7 minute time limit which led to quite a few draws among the closely fought contests. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Hikari Noa, Shoko Nakajima Vs Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino Vs Nao Kakuta and the 3 Way Match all went the distance and ended without winners.

Hyper Misao challenged Raku to a Hyper Train Quiz. Every time someone got a two count pin, they would have to correctly answer a question about the Osaka trainline to win the match. Raku is the resident expert about trains in Tokyo Joshi Pro but Misao pulled off the upset!

6. Maebashi Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura & Chris Brookes defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno & Toui Kojima when HARASHIMA pinned Kojima with the Somato (21:17).

The hometown hero today was Gunma’s own Yoshiaki Yatsu. He was nervous but the match went without a hitch thanks to help from Tetsuya Endo & Akito. Yatsu hit Yuki Ishida with the Yatsugoye/Iron Knee and made him tap to the Prison Hold. He is sure the result made fans happy and will get them all to return next time DDT comes by.

Before the opening match took place, Kazuki Hirata got on the microphone and declared he was beginning another revolution in Maebashi! He wanted Yuki Iino to join his side but Iino refused. Antonio Honda was up for it and promised to defeat Pheromones under Hirata’s leadership. He then tripped over and hurt his knee. Hisaya Imabayashi got dragged into the match and got embarrassed alongside Hirata. The end came with The Bridge Of Glory, a double team move where Iino & Danshoku Dieno sandwich the victim’s between their butts until they submit. Although Hirata lost, everyone still carried him on their shoulders to celebrate his attempted revolution.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW INSPIRATION” Results

1. Mahiro Kiryu defeated Haruna Neko with the Spinebuster (7:50).
2. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Pom Harajuku with a Cross Armbreaker (10:26).
3. Hardcore Match: Hikari Noa defeated Nao Kakuta with the Blizzard Suplex onto a Chair (17:14).
4. MagiRabi Vs TropicaWild: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated SAKI & Yuna Mizumori when Mizuki pinned Mizumori with the Diving Foot Stomp (17:35).

Inspiration is back for its third go around. This time it was The Magical Sugar Rabbits getting to explore outside the realms of Tokyo Joshi Pro for opponents. They defeated the TropicaWild team of SAKI & Yuna Mizumori. It was a reunion for Mizuki and SAKI because they started wrestling together as a team called Buribato♡. They hadn’t been in the ring together for the last four years until today. Yuka Sakazaki described the match as amazing and she felt it had the energy of a championship defence. SAKI also had fun with the match while Mizumori will never forgive herself if she never gets to wrestle MagiRabi again.

In a very rare sight the TJPW mat saw bloodshed when Hikari Noa and Nao Kakuta fought in a Hardcore Match. Noa was busted open midway through in a match where ladders, chairs, CDs and glow sticks were all used as weapons. But Noa toughed it out in her second ever Hardcore match and had her arm raised in victory at the end. Kakuta also expressed an interest in doing more hardcore matches but next time she wants to be teaming with Noa.

The match before that could not have been any more different. Pom Harajuku and Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi spent just as much time in the ring singing, dancing and meditating than they did wrestle each other. Playtime was cut off when Hiroshi threw Harajuku to the mat and locked in a Cross Armbreaker to submit her. Hiroshi still praised her and described her as a very strong martial artist.

The opening match was familiar fare for TJPW. Although it was a first time ever singles match between Mahiro Kiryu and Haruna Neko.

I should have expected Yumehito Imanari to bring back Pocchari Joshi for his produce show. Yuna Manase takes on Totoro Satsuki from Ice Ribbon. At least for now she is with Ice Ribbon. Not a lot of good news coming out of that place lately.

Hajime was once known as Hajime Nomura from WRESTLE-1. He switched over to an undead facepaint look right around the time W1 collapsed last year. He has since haunted the indie scene and will make his first appearance in Ganpro.

4. Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno & MAO defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Chris Brookes & Yukio Naya when Takeshita pinned Naya with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster (13:17).
5. Yuto Aijima Retirement Match ~Yuto FINAL ROAD~: Jun Akiyama, Akitoshi Saito, Muhammad Yone & HARASHIMA defeated Yuto Aijima, Sanshiro Takagi, Mitsuya Nagai & Tetsuya Endo when HARASHIMA pinned Aijima with the Somato (20:29).

Omuta’s own Yuto Aijima called time on his 26 year long career in pro wrestling under a DDT banner. As expected for his retirement match, Aijima was pinned and defeated in the middle of the ring. HARASHIMA was the one to claim victory by beating Aijima but the rest of his team helped set it up. Muhammad Yone hit a Strong Elbow, Akitoshi Saito hit the Sickle Death, Jun Akiyama threw him over with the Exploder Suplex and HARASHIMA finished him off with the Somato.

For the retirement ceremony, Aijima was given speeches from everyone who was in the match along with bouquets from friends and family. Aijima also received video messages from Diablo & Kurokage who were members of a unit in Kyushu he was a part of called Black Justice. He then got more video messages this time from Kyohei Wada, Kenta Kobashi, Genichiro Tenryu and Toshiaki Kawada! Aijima said his final words at the end of the ceremony. From tomorrow he will return to being a normal uncle named Shunsuke Aijima. He thanked DDT, Mitsuya Nagai and the wrestlers from NOAH for coming to Omuta to wrestle today. He said he will continue to work behind the scenes so wrestling can continue in his rural town.

In other matters, Naomi Yoshimura got in the ring with Yuji Hino again as part of the build up to the next KO-D Tag Team Titles match. Hino was teaming with Kazushi Miyamoto instead of Bodyguard but it was still a wall too high for Yoshimura to climb. The positive thing Yoshimura got out of this match is he thinks his Chops are starting to break through Hino when they weren’t before.
