DDT “DDT TANABATA SPECIAL 2023 IN SHINJUKU”, 07/07/2023 Shin-Kiba 1st RING 305 Fans – No Vacancy
1. Toru Owashi & Kazuma Sumi defeated Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno when Sumi pinned Dieno after the Kamigoye from Yoshitomo Shimohigashi (9:38).
2. DISASTER BOX Vs BURNING!: HARASHIMA & Kazuki Hirata defeated Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada when HARASHIMA pinned Okada with the Somato (8:15).
3. Yukio Sakaguchi, Saki Akai & Hideki Okatani defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Ishida & Ilusion when Okatani pinned Ishida with a Running Elbow Butt (9:20).
4. KANON Debut 4th Anniversary Match ~ Special Tag Match: TAKA Michinoku & KANON defeated Tetsuya Endo & Yuya Koroku when KANON submitted Koroku with the Ground Cobra Twist (11:12).
5. International Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno defeated Nick Wayne with the WR (14:29).
6. Special Single Match: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Toy Kojima with the Crossface Lock (10:26).
7. Road To PETER PAN 2023! Special Tag Match: Yuji Hino & Makoto Oishi defeated Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi when Hino submitted Brookes with the King Kong Sleeper (10:43).
Today saw the return of Chris Brookes to the ring after spending over a month recovering from a dislocated shoulder. He only has a little over two weeks now to get into his best condition for “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023”. The start of his “Champion’s Road” could not have gotten off to a rockier start when CDK took on Ω. Brookes showed some some threat to Yuji Hino by countering the Fuckin’ BOMB into an Octopus Stretch. But Hino powered his way out of the move and submitted Brookes with the King Kong Sleeper. Hino taunted Brookes after the match by pretending his opponent was an amateur making his debut today. Makoto Oishi had to remind him it’s his challenger for Sumo Hall. Backstage Brookes admitted he is lacking confidence but he will get it back and win the KO-D Openweight Title from Hino. A lot can change in two weeks.
After weeks and weeks of cheating and dirty fighting from Daisuke Sasaki towards Toy Kojima, their grudge match today went by mostly without incident. Sasaki was by himself and fought clean the entire match. Kojima almsot beat him with the Kojima In Wonderland but then missed a Totonou Splash. That allowed Sasaki to take over and submit him with the Crossface Lock. Sasaki then gave Kojima an offer to join DAMNATION T.A after the match! Kojima refused and left the ring.
Sasaki changed the subject by promising a big surprise for the fans in attendance. El Desperado’s music suddenly played but nobody came out. Sasaki then stopped the music and made fun of everyone for thinking he was going to invite him here. Desperado’s music then played again and this time he really did appear! He asked Sasaki what was going to be at stake for their match at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023”? Neither of them have any championships but the match sponsor will reward the winner with a year’s supply of tequila. That’s good enough for them! On 23rd July Sasaki and Desperado will fight not for championships, not for hair, not for masks and it will not be a No DQ Match. The two of them are just going to enjoy an intense fight against each other.
A big week is coming up for Nick Wayne. His official debut for AEW back in America was announced for next week but first he had to finish off his tour with DDT today. He lost to Yuki Ueno but left a good impression on his opponent. Ueno said in his post-match comments that Wayne’s potential is not his physcial ability but his love for pro wrestling. It’s on the same level as Brookes and Konosuke Takeshita and will take him wherever he wants to go. Wayne said he learned a lot from the wrestlers on this tour professionally, physically and mentally. He thinks being able to learn stuff like that right before his AEW debut will benefit him.
KANON got to celebrate the 4th Anniversary of his debut match by teaming with his mentor TAKA Michinoku. They defeated Tetsuya Endo & Yuya Koroku with KANON submitting Koroku. Endo doesn’t mind the result because he got to hit the Sasuke Special on Michinoku. Apparantely that was all that mattered to him today because he didn’t care it was KANON’s anniversary. Michinoku will be back in DDT on 23rd July to face MAO so he feels like he is currently standing in the eye of a hurricane. He also hopes to be brought back for KANON’s 5th anniversay. KANON suggests maybe then they can fight each other for that occasion.
The boost of momentum Yuki Ishida has gotten against Eruption lately was brushed aside by Hideki Okatani. The Dosukoi Hold Ishida’s been using to be Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai did not work here and instead Okatani pinned him with a Running Elbow Butt. Sakaguchi asked Harimao after the match what is the point of “Dosukoi”? If they care that much about it they can go eat yakitori in Ryogoku and leave the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles to them. This attitude was in contrast to the start of the show when the two teams signed the contract for their title match at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023”. During that Eruption said this is their last chance to win the 6-Man Tag Titles because of Akai’s retirement at the end of the year.
Kazuki Hirata would have lost his tag match several times over if it wasn’t for HARASHIMA running in to break the pin every time. Everything Jun Akiyama did to Hirata would have been a one hit kill otherwise. HARASHIMA kept his team in the game and scored the win over Yusuke Okada with the Somato. His performance today got Hirata to ask if HARASHIMA has any weaknesses at all? It’s becoming very difficult for Hirata to think of a stipulation that will give him any chance of beating HARASHIMA when their DDT Extreme Title match takes place on 30th July.
Akito was at ringside for the entrances in the opening match with the intention of ambushing Pheromones. His goal was to eliminate them before they could reach the ring so their match would be cancelled. Toru Owashi & Kazuma Sumi agreed to look the other way and let Akito go ahead with his plan. It didn’t work. Yuki Iino & Danshoku Dieno survived Akito’s ambush and gave him a face full of Iino’s backside in front of the fans. The match went ahead as usual until all of a sudden Yoshitomo Shimohigashi interfered! He knocked out Dieno with a Bowling Uppercut followed by the Kamigoye, allowing Sumi to pin Dieno for the first time. Akito said Shimohigashi and Soma Takao are part of his Pheromones Subjugation Squad and they are going to drive Pheromones out of Sumo Hall!
BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. SIX: THE ART OF SELF DESTRUCTION”, 04/07/2023 Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa ??? Fans
1. Special Tag Team Match: MAO & Chie Koishikawa defeated Takayuki Ueki & Mecha Mummy when MAO pinned Mummy with a Swanton Bomb (11:24).
2. Special Single Match: Minoru Fujita Vs Rina Yamashita ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
3. Shota defeated Antonio Honda with a Cradle (6:11).
4. Special Single Match: Asuka defeated Masahiro Takanashi with a Michinoku Driver II (13:08).
No injury was going to keep Chris Brookes away from his own show! The latest adventures of Baka Gaijin + Friends placed Brookes in the ring announcer role, introducing all of the wrestlers and playing host to the crowd. He was also in good enough shape to get involved in the main event, interfering after a ref bump to help Masahiro Takanashi get the advantage on Asuka. The two on one attack by CDK caused MAO (in Drew Parker cosplay, more on that later) to run in and help Asuka even the odds. MAO and Brookes were soon out of the picture and the main event became a fair fight again. Asuka dropped Takanashi on the floor with a Michinoku Driver II to win the match.
A musical performance by Antonio Honda in the middle of the show was interrupted by the unexpected appearance of Shota from Ganbare☆Pro. He walked into ARENA Shimokitazawa to promote “WRESTLE SEKIGAHARA II” taking place this weekend. Honda at first allowed Shota to stand next to him but it was just to hit him with his guitar! Honda then took off his clothes revealing his wrestling gear underneath and challenged Shota to a match right away. Honda grabbed the show poster and gave Shota papercuts. However he ended up hurting his knee while charging the length of the room and tripping over the mat. He turned it into a Gongitsune attack but Shota turned the move back against him and rolled him up for the three count.
Normally Minoru Fujita and Rina Yamashita would both be up for a fight that would tear any room they are in apart. But the bar their match took place in today was very small and packed with people. They fought each other anyway but did so carefully through the crowd so they could get outside and have all the space they needed for a brawl. Given this is a Baka Gaijin show that means taking the fight up to the roof and standing over the glass ceiling. Thankfully they realized how dangerous that was and decided to arm wrestle over the glass before returning indoors. The match continued and they had a little bit of space to use a chair as a weapon. But the time limit eventually expired, ending the match in a draw. The two kept slapping, pushing and rolling into each other as they left the room in a huff.
The opening match was another chance for Chie Koishikawa to dress up as Brookes and pretend to wrestle like him. Her tag partner MAO took things one step further by showing up in full Drew Parker cosplay! He even had paper cutouts of darts that ended up getting jammed up his wig for a fake blood spot. Takayuki Ueki gave him a DDT afterwards for extra damage. However Ueki being the mad scientist he is made a mistake of feeding liquid to Mecha Mummy, causing the robot to malfunction and attack everybody with its Mecha Fist. Koishikawa stopped Mummy’s rampage with a Jumping Knee and then fired the Mecha Fist back at it. MAO then hit a Parker like Swanton Bomb to get the three count. However Ueki had the last laugh by revealing he collected some of MAO’s DNA during the match and will use it to modify Mecha Mummy into being more MAO-like in the future!
The next Baka Gaijin show will take place on 22nd August.

DDT “DDT TANABATA SPECIAL 2023 IN SHINJUKU”, 07/07/2023 Shin-Kiba 1st RING
1. Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Ishida & Rukiya Vs Yukio Sakaguchi, Saki Akai & Hideki Okatani
2. BURNING Vs DISASTER BOX!: Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada Vs HARASHIMA & Kazuki Hirata
3. International Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Nick Wayne

5. Road To PETER PAN 2023! Special Tag Match: Yuji Hino & Makoto Oishi Vs Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi
Two important names are coming back from injuries on this show. Chris Brookes and KANON are both returning from dislocated shoulders. Brookes has some catching up to do. He is paying back every wrestler who fought on his behalf against Yuji Hino while he was recovering, starting with his CDK buddy Masahiro Takanashi.
KANON’s big return is for his 4th Anniversary match. His trainer TAKA Michinoku was previously announced and now we know they will be teaming up against Tetsuya Endo & Yuya Koroku.
DDT “ROAD TO PETER PAN 2023 IN AOMORI”, 15/07/2023 Aomori Hamanasu Hall
1. Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Paul & KANON Vs Yuki Ueno, Toy Kojima & Takeshi Masada
2. Falls Count Anywhere Special 6-Man Tag Match: Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yuya Koroku Vs Sanshiro Takagi, HARASHIMA & Kazuma Sumi
3. Special Tag Match: Yuji Hino & Makoto Oishi Vs Chris Brookes & Kazusada Higuchi
Kazusada Higuchi in particular was doing the heavy lifting against Ω while Brookes was gone. He deserves at least a beer or a lottery ticket as a thank you.
I think this is DDT’s first show in Hamanasu Hall since 2019. It’s been long enough that they are doing a Falls Count Anywhere match as their way to welcome themselves back into the building.
DDT “60TH BIRTHDAY & 20TH ANNIVERSARY ALL TOGETHER! ~ GORGEOUS NIGHT”, 16/07/2023 Fukushima Toyota Crown Arena Sub Arena
1. Saki Akai & Hideki Okatani Vs Kazuki Hirata & Kazuma Sumi
2. Special Tag Match: Yuji Hino & Makoto Oishi Vs Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada
3. Fukushima Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: Gorgeous Matsuno, HARASHIMA & Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Antonio Honda
The hometown hero Gorgeous Matsuno gets to team with HARASHIMA & Yukio Sakaguchi for his big show.
Last but not least, the final preview match between Hino and Brookes has Takeshi Masada backing up the Englishman like he always does. I can’t be counting out Makoto Oishi either. He’s stuck with Hino through thick and thin for all of this.
A little bit of worrying news comes from today’s Gatoh Move show. CDK were defending the Asia Dream Tag Team Titles against Shin Suzuki & Choun-Shiryu. During the match Shiryu gave Chris Brookes the Chinese Gory Special Bomb and Brookes injured his shoulder, stopping the match. Suzuki & Shiryu were declared the winners and Masahiro Takanashi handed them over the championship belts because the result counts as a title change. Takanashi reappeared later in the show to tell the fans that Brookes was on the way to the hospital for a diagnosis and his message to everyone is he’s feeling fine. The last thing DDT needs right now is another injury, especially to one of the headliners for their next Sumo Hall show.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE TOUR IN SPRING ’23”, 04/06/2023 Tokyo Ryogoku KFC Hall
1. Hikari Noa, Nao Kakuta & Wakana Uehara Vs Mahiro Kiryu, Haru Kazashiro & Runa Okubo
2. Yuki Kamifuku Vs Toga
3. Moka Miyamoto Vs Shino Suzuki
4. Hyper Misao Vs HIMAWARI
5. Mizuki & Suzume Vs Shoko Nakajima & Kaya Toribami
6. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Arisu Endo Vs Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku
The strongest trio in Tokyo Joshi Pro lately are Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku. Can they keep their run of success going against Daydream & Arisu Endo? Especially if Rika Tatsumi & Endo figure out how to summon back their heel gimmick from “HYPE!” and go act violently again. Miu Watanabe is too cheerful for that life though.
DDT “WHAT ARE YOU DOING 2023”, 25/06/2023 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. Yukio Sakaguchi, Saki Akai, Hideki Okatani & Sanshiro Takagi Vs Ryota Nakatsu, Yuki Ishida, Yusuke Okada & Yuya Koroku
2. International Special Single Match: Tetsuya Endo Vs Nick Wayne
3. DDT Extreme Title: MAO Vs Kazuki Hirata
4. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Yuki Ueno & Toy Kojima Vs X & X
Over the weekend Yuki Ueno & Toy Kojima made appeals to DDT asking to be one of the teams fighting for the vacant KO-D Tag Team Titles. With ShunMao stepping aside and vacating the belts, Kojima wanted his team with Ueno to represent The 37KAMIINA in the championship match. Despite losing his recent matches, Kojima impressed management enough to grant his request.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’23”, 08/07/2023 Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium
1. Miyu Yamashita Vs Sawyer Wreck
2. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Nyla Rose
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Mizuki (c) Vs Maki Itoh
When Yuka Sakazaki announced her plans to graduate TJPW at the end of the year, she said one of her remaining wishes was to wrestle somebody from AEW at “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’23”. The invitation was accepted and AEW is sending over Nyla Rose! The former AEW Women’s Champion has wrestled in Japan before but this will be her first time in TJPW. They’ve been opponents in tag matches on Dark before and they also once fought each other in a Triple Threat match along with Riho. This match however is the first time they will face off one on one.
GANBARE☆PRO “WRESTLE SEKIGAHARA II”, 09/07/2023 Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium
1. Yoshiko Hasegawa Vs Miyuki Takase
2. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Isami Kodaka
The biggest show of the year for Ganbare☆Pro will be headlined with an inter-promotional match against BASARA with their biggest prize on the line. Mizuki Watase is defending the Spirit Of Ganbare Title against Isami Kodaka and both men will be carrying the flag for their respective promotions. The fighting talk between the two from yesterday suggests this won’t be the end to the rivalry. Watase has promised to continue defending the SOG Title against BASARA wrestlers after he beats Kodaka. In return Kodaka has offered to do the same with GanPro talent if he beats Watase for the belt.
Almost one year after she joined GanPro, Yoshiko Hasegawa gets a special singles match against her senpai Miyuki Takase. Hasegawa owes a lot to Takase for taking care of her during her absence away from wrestling. The best way she can pay her back is to show how much she has grown under GanPro and beat her in their first singles match against each other.
Freelance wrestler Kuma Arashi has suddenly offered to wrestle on GanPro shows after attending yesterday’s shows and being impressed with the company’s passion. He had a match in GanPro once before in 2020 back when he was signed to WRESTLE-1. The atmosphere he felt yesterday reminded him of W1 and convinced him to give this place another shot. He also wants to form a tag team with Ken Ohka while he is here.
BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. FOUR: WHEN GOOD DOGS DO BAD THINGS”, 18/04/2023 Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa 60 Fans – Super No Vacancy
1. Special Tag Team Match: Baliyan Akki & Sayaka Vs MAO & Chie Koishikawa
2. Special Single Match: Masashi Takeda Vs Death Worm
3. Special Tag Team Match: Rina Yamashita & Drew Parker Vs Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi
BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. FOUR: WHEN GOOD DOGS DO BAD THINGS”, 18/04/2023 Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa 60 Fans – Super No Vacancy
1. Special Tag Team Match: Baliyan Akki & Sayaka defeated MAO & Chie Koishikawa when Akki pinned Koishikawa with the Labyrinth (14:22).
2. Special Single Match: Masashi Takeda defeated Death Worm with a Big Scissors Choke (9:26).
3. Special Tag Team Match: Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Rina Yamashita & Drew Parker when Takanashi pinned Parker after the HOD (24:31).
Another month, another Baka Gaijin + Friends show that almost destroyed the venue. Drew Parker teamed up with Rina Yamashita to take on CDK in a main event that was not a death match but featured smashed plastic boxes and even firecrackers! Masahiro Takanashi set off the firecracker on top of a plastic box only to see Chris Brookes gets smashed through it instead of Parker. However Takanashi used his knees to block Parker’s Swanton Bomb from a stool. CDK then brought their opponents together and tied them up in The Hair Of The Dog to score the pinfall on Parker. After the match Parker asked Yamashita for a singles match some day down the line.
Death Worm’s opponent this month was Masashi Takeda. The death match wrestler attacked Worm with chairs and then took out his big pair of scissors. Right when he was about to use them, Takayuki Ueki interrupted the match telling Takeda he shouldn’t be fighting with Death Worm. Instead Ueki tried summoning the spirit of Death Worm to speak on its behalf. It took a few tries but Ueki got the message through, despite somehow sounding like Antonio Honda. Takeda and Worm hugged it out until Worm turned the hug into a Backslide Pin for a nearfall. Worm and Ueki teamed up to stab Takeda in the head with skewers. But Takeda rolled out of the way of Worm’s Body Press, attacked Ueki and pressed the scissors into Worm’s mouth until Worm gave up.
The opening match featured Chie Koishikawa, MAO dressed as Chie Koishikawa, Baliyan Akki dressed as Chie Koishikawa and Sayaka dressed as Chie Koishikawa.
The non-wrestling part of the show was a talent contest between Munenori Sawa and Antonio Honda. Sawa’s talent was drawing fruit while Honda sang a song. The fans couldn’t decide on a winner so the contest ended in a draw.

One year ago The 37KAMIINA held their first self produced show. It was a success so one year later they did it again. The four members of the unit still in Japan all came up with their own ideas for matches to fill up the card but the main event was a mystery until it began. The missing member of the group Konosuke Takeshita was somehow able to speak from the heavens and declared that he will come up with the rules for the main event. What he wanted to see depended on how hot the match would get. At first he asked for a 4 Way Match but after an exchange between MAO and Shunma Katsumata took place he then wondered what a singles match between ShunMao would look like. After a few minutes of that he then noticed Yuki Ueno and Toi Kojima were cooling off so they should do a singles match too. Just when Ueno was about to win, Takeshita changed his mind and said it was now a tag match between Ueno & MAO against Katsumata & Kojima. He also told them there is now a special rule that you can only tag in and out by kissing each other! He then said was only joking. He continued changing the rules turning the match into a 3 Vs 1 Handicap with everyone against Katsumata, then turning that into a Hardcore 4 Way before finally settling on a 4 Way Survival Match with 2 Count Pins and Battle Royal style eliminations in effect. When the dust finally settled it was the most junior member of the unit Kojima who was the winner! Kojima was so happy to win because today is the first time he could hear the fans chanting his name for a victory. He told the rest of The 37KAMIINA they should do a third show like this in the future.
Takeshita was part of the show in body as well as spirit. Well kind of. Akito was supposed to team with Sakura Hirota and Hirota walked out in a full bodsuit Takeshita costume! Her mimickry was so convincing that Tetsuya Endo wanted to start the match against “Takeshita” instead of Akito. They proceeded to do a back and forth that was very similar to a section of the Takeshita Vs MJF match from AEW last week. Akito provided some assistance so “Takeshita” could give Endo & Kazuki Hirata a Double German Suplex. “Takeshita” then wanted to do the Zahi but it came off looking more like the Jumping Knee. Either way, it was enough to pin Hirata for the three count. After the match Akito thanked “Takeshita” for coming back to America just to do this match. Endo also shook “Takeshita’s” hand finally putting their heated rivalry to rest. That counts, right?
Most of the undercard featured at least one member of The 37KAMIINA involved in it. Kojima had a singles match against Yasu Urano that turned out to be way more heated than it looked on paper. Urano attacked Kojima behind the curtain before he could even make his entrance and attacked him around ringside. Kojima fought back, even leaving Urano with a shiner over his right eye. He tried to use Cradle moves to pin Urano but his Hurricanrana was used against him. Urano ended up rolling back on top of Kojima out of that move to get the pin.
Ueno’s match was a 2-On-1 Handicap contest against the elderly. Gorgeous Matsuno picked a fight with Ueno in the leadup to the show and said he knew somebody who wanted to fight Ueno even more. It turned out to be Gabai Ji-chan. At first Ueno easily fought them off until he had the temerity to cuss out Ji-chan for being an old man. That made Ji-chan drop his cane and proceed to wrestle at a fast pace. Ueno couldn’t keep up until he gave the cane back to Ji-chan, regressing him back to his elderly state. The cane was passed around, turning whoever held it into an old person. When Matsui was given the cane, it made him count pinfalls slower than Joe Higuchi. Matsuno put Ueno in a Sleeper Hold and held him down, offering to sacrifice himself so Ji-chan could hit the Swanton Bomb onto both of them. Ueno escaped anyway and Matsuno took the entire move. Ueno then pinned him for the win. Despite the loss, Matsuno & Ji-chan congratulated Ueno for winning so their little grudge is now settled.
ShunMao’s match was a Men’s Club style 4 Way Tag Match with Men’s Teioh himself involved as the referee. The other three teams were CDK, Speed Of Sounds and Makoto Oishi & Shiori Asahi. All teams tried to one up each other with tricky Men’s Club spots in between their usual moves. Teioh ended up getting caught in the crossfire and got hit by Oishi. Teioh took his anger out on him and helped ShunMao get the win over him.
The four wrestlers in today’s D GENERATIONS CUP matches all finish their runs with no chance of making the final. Keigo Nakamura had a slim chance depending on other results but Yuki Ishida killed off any hope of that happening by beating him. Ilusion also finally got to win a block match in his very last bout of the group. That result means Kazuma Sumi ends the tournament with 0 points. He is the only one to not win a match.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. TWO: THE DREAM WARRIORS”, 24/01/2023 Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa 50 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House
1. Special Singles Match: Fuminori Abe defeated Death Worm with the Modified Manjigatame (8:33).
2. Thai Boxing Vs Death Match: Drew Parker defeated Thanomsak Toba with a Ladder Crush (7:07).
3. Special Tag Match: Ram Kaichow & Onryo defeated Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi when Onryo pinned Takanashi with the Onryo Clutch (18:41).
The first Baka Gaijin + Friends was such a big success that a second one was never going to be far behind. This time around the headline match was CDK taking on the 666 pairing of Onryo & Ram Kaichow. This was the first time Chris Brookes would confront the ghostly tag team since last year’s King Of Street Wrestling tournament. Once again the match found its way up to the windowed roof of ARENA Shimokitazawa. Kaichow sprayed Brookes with ectoplasm up there before returning back downstairs. She then took out Brookes with a Satellite DDT and ducked a punch from Masahiro Taknashi. Onryo threw ghostly powder into Takanashi’s eyes, Kaichow gave him a Rainmaker and Onryo then pinned him with the Onryo Clutch for the win. After the match Drew Parker announced there was going to be one more match but Brookes chopped him down. The show was over but Brookes revealed there will be a third one taking place on 7th March.
Death Match defeated Muay Thai in the second match of the show. Thanomsak Toba had the early advantage because of his striking game so Parker brought out his own pair of boxing gloves to even the odds. It didn’t work so he ditched the gloves and took out skewers instead. That backfired too when Toba dug the skewers into Parker’s head and tried to make them stick by punching them. Parker smashed a plastic box over Toba’s head then brought out a small ladder. He wanted to do a Swanton off of it but Toba got up and punched him in the jaw. It was a knockout blow but Parker fell on top of Toba and ended up pinning him for the three count!
The return of Death Worm was a terrifying challenge for Fuminori Abe. It’s hard shell acted as armour towards Abe’s strikes. Takayuki Ueki was there as a bystander who found himself getting involved after one of Death Worm’s attacks missed Abe and hit him instead. Ueki threw a punch at Death Worm but also missed. However instead of hitting Abe, Ueki hugged him instead. Abe then accidentally hugged Death Worm which made Ueki jealous. The two teamed up using the power of love (provided by Antonio Honda singing on the microphone) and Abe submitted Death Worm with the Manjigatame.
Ueki performed stand up comedy before the main event. He originally wanted to do a manzai routine with MAO but MAO is currently in America. He introduced himself as a “propolice” which is a combination of pro wrestler and policeman. His main story was about a talk he once had with Daisuke Sekimoto. He impersonated Sekimoto to give both sides of the conversation.
