3. Hardcore Tag Match: Takumi Tsukamoto & Lil’ Kraken defeated KUBITO & Ryuichi Sekine when Kraken pinned Sekine with a Diving Guillotine Drop on a Chair (13:10).

An IRON PRIEST reunion took place in the main event when FUMA got to team up with Hagane Shinno. They still remembered when to do heavy metal hand signs together.
Lil’ Kraken wanted to make it clear that his upcoming match against The Great Sasuke is not going to be friendly or just for making memories. He wants to beat Sasuke to launch a whole new era in pro wrestling!
A BASARA Vs Ganbare☆Pro tag match was held as a warm up for Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s appearance in GanPro happening later that day. He and Daichi Kazato defeated the visiting Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga. Hiroshi got the pin and felt ready for his match against Yumehito Imanari happening later.

The IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT is back for the first time since 2020. It is also going to be the first time the reigning IRON FIST Tag Team Champions will be competing in the tournament. The 2020 tournament was held to determine the No. 1 Contenders and the 2019 edition was to crown the first champions. Every playoff match has a 30 minute time limit except for the final which has no time limit. If a match ends in a draw then both teams are eliminated. The teams taking part are:

5. Enter Kazato The Road To The Death Game Of Anger: Choun-Shiryu defeated Daichi Kazato with the Project A (23:22).
Today’s show was all put together by Asian Kung Fu Revolution. Each member of the unit all promised the fans will never know what is going to happen in the matches. For example, Daichi Kazato challenged Choun-Shiryu to a match because he cannot stand the fact there is a person who is more Asian and Kung Fu than Asian Kung Fu Revolution. The two agreed to fight under Game Of Death rules. It featured a large rubber band attached to one of the ropes as well as a balance ball, an iron pot and a ladle for the wrestlers to use a weapons. Kazato held onto the balance ball while he did the Mad Splash but missed and bounced across the ring. Shiryu then gave him the Chinese Gory Special Bomb onto the ball and won the match by hitting the Project A (similar to the Coffin Drop) for the pin. After the match Kazato revealed that when he was a high school student he was invited by Shiryu to train pro wrestling with him. He thinks what he learned that day has helped him survive the business ever since and he wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Shiryu.
Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi claimed he spent a lot of money to bring over a bunch of Hollywood stars for Asian Kung Fu Revolution to fight against. Sylvester Uranone wanted to show off his Rocky skills so he had a boxing showdown with Hiroshi. Kaminold Schwarzenegger spent the match posing in his underwear until it was discovered that his urine test came back positive for a banned substance so he was taken out of the match. FUMA then shot both Uranone and Jason Abeham with his hunting rifle before accidentally shooting KUBITO. Next up, Fuminori Abe came out dressed like The Rock and was followed by SAGAT dressed like Dude Love. FUMA shot them both. Schwarzenegger returned, this time as a Terminator to stop FUMA. With all of this chaos going on, Hiroshi began to sing in the hopes that everyone would get along. They did, even the people who were shot. Since everybody was now holding hands and bringing peace to the world, the match was declared a no contest.
Today was the first time Ryota Nakatsu wrestled against a Mexican luchador so he wanted to try and copy Hijo del Alebrije’s style. He himself admits he wasn’t very good at it but he was able to adjust and pin Alebrije with a Back Roll Clutch. It is a wrestling style he would like to try again.
I still don’t get why Match #2 was called a 6-Man Tag when there were only four wrestlers involved.

For the first time in three years BASARA held their all you can drink “~UTAGE~” show again in Shin-Kiba 1st RING. In the main event FUMA defeated Takumi Tsukamoto to become a three time Union MAX Champion! By beating Tsukamoto today and also Ryota Nakatsu recently, FUMA now thinks he has gotten revenge for all of his biggest failings in the last few years in his bid to become champion again. There are more wrestlers out there he wants to get revenge on. The first one on his mind is a certain wrestler from Osaka who he has never beaten. His name is Eisa8 and FUMA fought him often under a mask in Okinawa Pro. He is going to see what his own schedule is like next month before he challenges Eisa8 to a title match. BASARA will be in Osaka on 23rd September and FUMA also wants the promotion to run a show in Gunma on 14th October.
Gouma Ryu bribed the referee with money to give him the advantage against Nakatsu in the Jacket Match. It caused the ref to count slowly after Nakatsu knocked out Ryu. The ref was given more money by Ryu on the canvas to stop the 10 count entirely. The ref also fast counted Nakatsu and ignored Ryu using his law book as a weapon. When Nakatsu took the book from him and threatened to hit him back, the ref was bribed into disqualifying Nakatsu entirely.
A big upset in early in the show saw Lil’ Kraken & Leo Isaka win as a tag team for the first time against Sento Minzoku. Isaka ended up dodging Isami Kodaka’s finisher and used an Inside Cradle to pin him for the three count. With this result Kraken suggested they challenge Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita for the IRON FIST Tag Titles on 18th September. Fujita later accepted the challenge. He & Shimomura just beat Speed Of Sounds today so what chance do Kraken & Isaka have?
Daichi Kazato announced that Asian Kung Fu Revolution will be producing the 17th September show.

The main event sounds like it was very weird and not just for the finish being a Body Slam. Daichi Kazato was at his most oddball and Isami Kodaka tried to figure out how to deal with that. When he did he Body Slammed him three times, taking so much wind out of Kazato that he couldn’t kick out of the pin.
FUMA & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi weren’t happy that they lost to Speed Of Sounds so quickly in a comedy match. They asked for an immediate rematch, one that would be treated more seriously and SOS accepted. FUMA ended up pulling out two hunting muskets and scared the other wrestlers out of the ring, Hiroshi included. Banana Senga found two coathangers and gave them to Tsutomu Oosugi to fight FUMA with. FUMA instead hunted down both SOS wrestlers around the room, shooting them as well as Hiroshi and also Fuminori Abe. Hiroshi recovered and revived SOS by singing a hymn. While all of this was going on, Hiroshi was still the legal man this whole time so he got counted out right before he finally returned to the ring.

5. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2023 – Round 1 A Block: Daiki Shimomura defeated Daichi Kazato with a Hurricanrana (13:37).
6. Chouten ~Itadaki~ 2023 – Round 1 A Block: Isami Kodaka defeated Shiori Asahi with a Cross Armbar (16:14).
Three wrestlers have advanced past the opening round so far in this year’s Chouten ~Itadaki~. The main event saw Isami Kodaka submit Shiori Asahi in their first singles match against each other in 8 years. Kodaka said he has three more rounds to get past and he’s sure the Union MAX Title will be waiting for him at the finish line. He meets Daiki Shimomura in Round 2 after Shimomura beat Daichi Kazato. Kodaka and Shimomura fought each other for the MAX Title last September.
The other half of the A Block has turned into an easy path for SAGAT. He advanced to the 2nd Round by beating Lil’ Kraken and then discovered at the end of the show he was getting a bye into the semi-final because Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Leo Isaka ended in a Double Countout! Both Hiroshi and Isaka were determined to keep each other outside the ring and it blew up in both of their faces because the Double Countout eliminates both of them. So now SAGAT only has to beat the winner of Kodaka versus Shimomura to reach the grand final.

The 8th annual Chouten ~Itadaki~ tournament is going to be the main focus for BASARA during the summer. This year uses the familiar format of a 16-man single eliminaion bracket. Every match will have a 30 minute time limit except for the final, which has no time limit. A draw of any kind will eliminate both wrestlers from the tournament. An odd bit of scheduling this year is half of the 2nd Round will take place on the same day the 2nd Half of Round 1 is completed. The complete 2nd Round schedule has not been finalized yet for this reason. It will have to be sorted out depending on which wrestlers are available to wrestle on 3rd June and which are available for 17th June. This year’s contestants are:

1. Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato when Kamino pinned Kazato with the Lariat (10:08).
2. Masahiro Takanashi defeated KUBITO with an STF (13:14).
3. Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura Vs Lil’ Kraken & Leo Isaka ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
4. Shota defeated FUMA with the Gannosuke Clutch (12:13).
5. Elimination 6-Man Tag Match: Ryota Nakatsu, SAGAT & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Yasu Urano & Fuminori Abe (21:45).
5a. Ryota Nakatsu eliminated Fuminori Abe by Ring Out (2:47).
5b. Fuminori Abe eliminated Ryota Nakatsu by Ring Out (3:08).
5c. Takumi Tsukamoto and SAGAT eliminated each other by Double Ring Out (7:28).
5d. Akiyori Takizawa eliminated Takumi Tsukamoto by Ring Out (9:18).
5e. Akiyori Takizawa eliminated Yasu Urano after the Big Mac (21:45).
The main event turned into a mess because of a referee bump. Yuya Okada got knocked out so Atsushi Ishiguro ran out as the replacement. However he missed the earlier eliminations in the match so the eliminated wrestlers were able to convince him they were still active participants. Then Okada recovered which caused more confusion between the two referees. That explains why it says above that some of the wrestlers were eliminated twice. Even then the wrestlers stuck around to stay involved in the match after they were eliminated. All of Sparky worked together to hit the Big Mac to get the win in the end.
Shota was FUMA’s mystery opponent. It was teased right before the show that the opponent was somebody who was wrestling in BASARA for the first time in years. He last wrestled here in 2018.
After the opening match Daichi Kazato told Aijin Tag who their challengers for the IRON FIST Tag Titles on 13th May are going to be. He’s not getting involved though. Instead he said it’s Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Antonio Honda!
MUSASHI from Michinoku Pro will be making his BASARA debut on 17th June.
