Grand Princess ’23 And Judgement 2023 Full Lineups

February 27, 2023

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’23”, 18/03/2023
Ariake Coliseum

1. Suzume Vs Arisu Endo
2. Haru & Momo Debut Match: Mahiro Kiryu, Wakana Uehara, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki Vs Kaya Toribami, Toga, Haru & Momo
3. Hikari Noa, Nao Kakuta & Ram Kaichow Vs Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku
4. Ryo Mizunami Vs Moka Miyamoto
5. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao Vs Andreza Giant Panda & Haruna Neko
6. Sakisama & Mei Saint-Michel Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Billie Starkz
7. Special Single Match: Aja Kong Vs Yuki Arai
8. International Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi
9. Princess Tag Team Titles: Max The Impaler & Heidi Howitzer (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh
10. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) Vs Mizuki

At the time of writing The Wasteland War Party have successfully defended the Princess Tag Team Titles twice in America. They have at least one more defence on their schedule before they return to Japan but odds are real good they will get to defend the belts against 121000000 on this show.

It’s only fitting that the smallest person on the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster gets to team up with Andreza Giant Panda. As long as Haruna Neko does not scratch the panda everything will be ok. No wait, we can’t be trusting Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao not to come up with something dangerous for the match. After all when something that giant comes along it would attract the attention of a kaiju and a superhero.

Good to see Ryo Mizunami back. This time she gets to put Moka Miyamoto to the test.

Ram Kaichow returns to TJPW too, which makes me wonder would Triple Six have more coverage if they got Free WiFi more often? Also the trio of Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku should get a team name at this point. The three of them have been inseperable for months now.

Shove all of the rookies into the same match! Good luck to Mahiro Kiryu and Kaya Toribami for having to keep that one together. Shino Suzuki and Toga will have already debuted by then. It’s Haru & Momo who will be having their first match.

For the first time since Arisu Endo’s debut match, Daisy Monkey are fighting against each other! Can Suzume stay ahead of her partner or has Endo progressed enough to catch up to her?

DDT “JUDGEMENT 2023 ~LONGEST 5 HOUR SPECIAL IN KORAKUEN HISTORY~”, 21/03/2023
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

4. Pheromones Vs Pheromones Subjugation Army All Out Battle: Yuki “Sexy” Iino, Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari & Koju “Shining Ball” Takeda Vs Akito, Toru Owashi, Hiroshi Yamato & Yusuke Okada
5. Kazuki Hirata Debut 13th Anniversary Match: Kazuki Hirata & Yoshihiko Vs Keisuke Ishii & Soma Takao
6. Saki Akai Debut 10th Anniversary Match Vol 1.: Masahiro Takanashi Vs Saki Akai
7. O-40 Title – 3 Way Match: Makoto Oishi Vs Gorgeous Matsuno Vs Shinichiro Kawamatsu
8. Special Single Match: Hikari Machida Vs Takeshi Masada
9. Special Tag Match: Chris Brookes & Drew Parker Vs MJ Paul & KANON
10. Special Tag Match: Super Sasadango Machine & Antonio Honda Vs Super Powerhouse Tag Team
11. International Special Single Match: Samuray Del Sol Vs Yuki Ueno
12. DDT 26th Anniversary Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Konosuke Takeshita
13. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & Shunma Katsumata (c) Vs Kazusada Higuchi & Ryota Nakatsu
14. DDT Extreme Title – Regular Pro Wrestling Rules: Jun Akiyama (c) Vs Kotaro Suzuki
15. DDT Universal Title: Naruki Doi (c) Vs Tetsuya Endo
16. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuji Hino (c) Vs Yukio Naya

Sixteen matches in five hours. What is this, an AEW Dark taping? Yukio Naya faces his tag partner and bigger brother figure Yuji Hino for the KO-D Openweight Title. For years now so much has been expected of Naya to become a big player in pro wrestling. Has he finally put it all together to become the champion of DDT? If that is not enough, Kenta Kobashi will be at the show as a special guest commentator for the main event.

The spirit of DNA can be found in the KO-D Tag Team Titles match. ShunMao were feeling good after defending the titles twice in three days but that mood changed once their next opponents showed up. Kazuasada Higuchi & Ryota Nakatsu were some of their toughest rivals back in the DNA days. Higuchi won his matches against Shunma Katsumata more often than not while Nakatsu was the first person to hand MAO his first loss. While ShunMao do not like having Harimao as their next challengers, they know they must beat them in order to carry on their plans to change the landscape of pro wrestling.

A “Super Powerhouse Tag Team” is coming over to take on Super Sasadango Machine & Antonio Honda. No other clues about the team’s identity have been found yet.

Now that Drew Parker is giving up death match wrestling maybe he will find more time to wrestle in DDT more often. Him and Chris Brookes teaming together as the Baka Gaijins will add a little freshness to the tag team division.

Both Saki Akai and Kazuki Hirata are getting matches to celebrate their pro wrestling anniversaries. Both matches feature wrestlers who have been close to Akai and Hirata respectively throughout their entire careers.

We say goodbye to the DDTeeeen!! project with Ilusion & El Unicorn both moving up to the main roster. Raimu Imai was a part of the short lived project so he gets to be in the match. Munetatsu Nakamura is a new face for the three of them to be in the ring with.

Everything Other Than The Big Show Lineups, Shino Suzuki Debut

February 27, 2023

A lot to get through here. I’ll save the “GRAND PRINCESS ’23” and “JUDGEMENT 2023” for the next post just to give the pages some breathing room. There will be so much to write about between the two “Big Match” events, Wrestlemania Weekend, a whole bunch of debuting wrestlers and all of the other international bookings to keep track of. Staying up to date with the all of the news and shows in the next month is probably going to kill me.

BASARA “BASARA 212 ~KOO~”, 28/02/2023
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato Vs Lil’ Kraken & Tsutomu Oosugi

4. Takumi Tsukamoto Vs SAGAT
5. Ryota Nakatsu & Kazusada Higuchi Vs Daiki Shimomura & Fuminori Abe
6. Union MAX Title: Isami Kodaka (c) Vs Takato Nakano

The lineup for the “ALL STAR JR FESTIVAL 2023~” was revealed over the weekend and it turns out Isami Kodaka is the only BASARA representative on the show. Takato Nakano was convinced he would be on it. Maybe winning the Union MAX Title away from Kodaka tomorrow will lead to a last minute change of plan.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT WINTER ~YOKOHAMA PERFORMANCE~”, 04/03/2023
Yokohama Radiant Hall

1. 3 Way Match: Yuki Aino Vs Hikari Noa Vs Kaya Toribami

6. Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku & Haruna Neko Vs Rika Tatsumi, Hyper Misao & Nao Kakuta

One more chance for Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi to test themselves against each other before the International Princess Title match.

The “GRAND PRINCESS ’23” main event are in separate singles matches. Yuka Sakazaki has to fight Raku and her dreaded pillow. Mizuki continues going through a… um… well calling it a murderer’s row of opponents isn’t accurate given how little a challenge they’ve given her so far. More like a jaywalker’s path? That’s kind of the level of crime Pom Harajuku would commit I guess.

Daisy Monkey are back teaming up to take on the rookie pairing of Wakana Uehara & HIMAWARI.

Maki Itoh is missing the show because she will be in America wrestling for GCW that day.

All aboard for the journey to DDT’s 26th Anniversary show! The top three matches in Yokohama are all building towards “JUDGEMENT 2023”. Yuji Hino and Yukio Naya have a few preview tag matches to get ready for.

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title is now safe and sound in the hands of Yoshihiko. The doll still has a big challenge coming up, defending the belt in a Battle Royal.

Takeshi Masada will be on the show as his main prize for winning the D GENERATIONS CUP. He is demanding a first class ticket to get there too. Kazusada Higuchi is also booked for the show so if there’s room for one more match that pairing would be a good one.

Akiyama has picked Yusuke Okada & Yuya Koroku to be his partners for the match. It means Sasadango, Ueno & Shinya Aoki now have to face BURNING again but if they win here then they will have beaten every member of the group!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “THE 3RD “FUTARI WA PRINCESS” MAX HEART TOURNAMENT” Results

January 19, 2023

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “THE 3RD “FUTARI WA PRINCESS” MAX HEART TOURNAMENT”, 19/01/2023
Shinjuku FACE
268 Fans

1. Hikari Noa defeated Wakana Uehara with the Blue Racer (8:07).
2. Mizuki & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Nao Kakuta & HIMAWARI when Mizuki submitted HIMAWARI with the Face Lock (11:43).
3. Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku when Itoh submitted Harajuku with the Itoh Deluxe (11:42).
4. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 2: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao defeated Haruna Neko & Kaya Toribami when Misao pinned Neko with the Hypami Return (11:33).
5. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 2: Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano defeated Suzume & Arisu Endo when Miyamoto pinned Endo with the Korokan (8:43).
6. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 2: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe defeated Saki Akai & Yuki Arai when Tatsumi submitted Arai with the White Dragon Sleeper (17:23).

Round 2 of the Max Heart Tournament is now over and done with. Last year’s winners Daydream are among the teams who reached the final four, eliminating Reiwa AA Cannon in the main event. The difference maker turned out to be Rika Tatsumi’s diamond hips. She used the Hip Attack to great effect twice in the match. The first was to block a Middle Kick from Saki Akai. Then when Miu Watanabe blocked the Quetzalcoatl and held Akai in place, Tatsumi struck with another Hip Attack. Akai was then taken out with the Daydream Eternity leaving Yuki Arai fighting on her own. Despite her best efforts, she was stopped with a Backbreaker and locked into the White Dragon Sleeper for the submission ending.

Tatsumi said after the match she expected her opponents today to be difficult and they really were difficult. However Daydream are determined to win the Max Heart Tournament for the second year in a row and go on to win back the Princess Tag Team Titles. For Reiwa AA Cannon however their chances of regaining those same belts have taken a massive hit. Now they are no longer champions and are out of the tournament, Akai does not know when she is able to team with Arai again. Whenever they do reunite, they promise that Reiwa AA Cannon will be an even bigger tag team!

The Karate Tag pairing of Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano have established themselves as the Cinderella entry of the tournament after beating Daisy Monkey to advance to the semi final. Arisu Endo had the fight against Moka Miyamoto under control until Miyamoto cut her off with the Zero Fighter Kick. Miyamoto then pinned Endo with the Korokan. Juria Nagano admitted she did not expect her team to win today but she is really happy they did. Miyamoto & Nagano have been spending more time together even when they are not training in order to improve their bond. They know there are more strong opponents waiting for them so they will do their very best and win. Endo was upset after the match because she thinks she let her fans down. She promised Daisy Monkey were going to win today and couldn’t reach that expectation. Suzume reassured Endo that she wants to team with her forever!

Haruna Neko & Kaya Toribami knew their chances against Kyoraku Kyomei were slim so they had to take drastic measures. They attacked their opponents during their entrance and Neko wrapped Hyper Misao’s cape around her head to blind her. Misao was able to kick out of Neko’s pin attempts and once she freed herself from the cape, she used it to choke Neko. Toribami helped her partner when she could and they pulled off some double team moves together. But Shoko Nakajima cut her off with the 619 so Misao could pin Neko with the Hypami Returns. Backstage Neko said the times when Toribami was able to save her from trouble were cool. Toribami thinks their team still needs a lot of work. Neko agrees and believes they can grow stronger together.

The Max Heart Tournament Semi Finals on 29th January will be Karate Tag Vs 121000000 and Daydream Vs Kyoraku Kyomei. Nagano said 121000000 are a crazy team and she wants to beat them with Miyamoto. Nakajima remembers her team lost to Daydream in last year’s tournament. She wants to avenge that loss.

There was a lot of hair pulling in Match #2. A lot of it involved HIMAWARI but everyone in the match was guilty of doing it at some point. Nao Kakuta started it. Mahiro Kiryu apologised for it. Mizuki didn’t understand why she did.

Hikari Noa was impressed enough by Wakana Uehara’s performance in their match that they left the ring together shoulder to shoulder.

“The Kick Demon” Janai Kai will make her Tokyo Joshi Pro debut on the 11th February Korakuen Hall show. She is also getting an International Princess Title match against Miu Watanabe in Nagoya on 18th February.

TJPW will be holding an empty arena mat wrestling PPV in TwinBox AKIHABARA on 30th January to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their launch event in the same venue. The PPV will consist of a one night tournament called Princess Of The Decade.

Akiyama on the other hand needs to beat Honda by pinfall or submission three times in order to successfully defend the DDT Extreme Title.

If Daisuke Sasaki ends his self-imposed exile and shows up he will be booked for a match. The undercard will be changed around as a result.

3. DDT Extreme Title: Jun Akiyama (c) Vs X
4. DDT Universal Title: Naruki Doi (c) Vs KANON

Sasaki has gone missing because Naruki Doi won the DDT Universal Title from Yuki Ueno instead of him. KANON stepped forward as the first challenger expecting his leader to be the new champion. He committed to challenge Doi anyway because he now thinks winning the title from him will cheer Sasaki up and bring him out of hiding.

Kotaro Suzuki, Kip Sabian, Penelope Ford and Shinya Ishida will all be on the show.

January 15, 2023

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “THE 3RD “FUTARI WA PRINCESS” MAX HEART TOURNAMENT”, 15/01/2023
Tokyo Otemachi Mitsui Hall
310 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House

1. Shoko Nakajima defeated Wakana Uehara with the Northern Lights Suplex (7:00).
2. 3 Way Match: Hyper Misao defeated Mizuki and Pom Harajuku when Misao pinned Harajuku with La Magistral Cradle (7:48).
3. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & HIMAWARI defeated Suzume, Arisu Endo & Kaya Toribami when Watanabe pinned Toribami with the Tear Drop (11:34).
4. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 1: Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano defeated Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu when Nagano pinned Kiryu with the Senpukyaku (11:04).
5. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 1: Saki Akai & Yuki Arai defeated Yuki Aino & Raku when Akai submitted Raku with the Extreme Triangle Choke (13:46).
6. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Round 2: Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh defeated Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta when Yamashita pinned Kakuta with the Skull Kick (11:41).

And we’re off with that start of the 3rd annual “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament. Ten teams are taking part and in order to fit them all into a single elimination bracket the opening round was a short one. In fact the main event of today’s show was a 2nd Round match where 121000000 knocked out Free WiFi. It was a close call because Free WiFi threw everything that had at them. There was a moment where Free WiFi got Miyu Yamashita with a Thrust Kick Sandwich. Nao Kakuta then put Yamashita in a Crucifix Pin while Hikari Noa applied the Rotating Leg Hold for a double pin attempt. Maki Itoh broke the pin and put Noa in the Itoh Deluxe. That gave Yamashita the opening to strike Kakuta with the Skull Kick and get the victory.

After the match Yamashita said she is feeling fine coming back from her concussion and the result proved it. Itoh agreed and said Yamashita behaved like a demon in the ring today. Yamashita wants to win the tournament because she thinks it is about time she wins the Princess Tag Team Titles with Itoh. Backstage Noa is frustrated over losing but there is something positive coming out of it. Free WiFi is the first tag team she’s been a part of that’s lasted longer than a year! The longer it lasts the more important it becomes. Kakuta pointed out that in almost every Tokyo Joshi Pro tournament she’s been a part of, she’s been eliminated by Yamashita. She agrees with Noa that their team should stick together, stay positive and become unbreakable.

Back in November Yuki Aino & Raku were supposed to face Reiwa AA Cannon for the Princess Tag Titles but Raku had to pull out with covid. Today was their chance to beat one of the top teams in TJPW but the challenge was just too great to climb over. They were able to block the Double Rookie Awards with a pillow but Saki Akai stopped Raku’s Doctor Yellow with a High Kick. Akai then put Raku in a Triangle Choke while Yuki Arai kicked Aino away. Raku gave up after Akai grabbed her arm and put it in a Kimura while still applying the Choke. Akai said her team’s thought process going into the match was very different than what it would have been if they were still the champions. They are back to square one and recognised they were fighting against strong opponents. Raku said with Pom Harajuku cheering them on she felt like her team had a 3-on-2 advantage. They are standing at the foot of the mountain after today but she still wants to climb that mountain.

The Karate Tag duo of Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano kicked off the tournament with a loud message by eliminating Toyo Mates in an upset. Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu were in control and even hit their Big Boot/Spinebuster combo on Nagano. Kiryu then put her lesser experienced opponent in a Crab Hold but Nagano fought her way to reach the ropes. Kiryu tried to finish her off with the Spinebuster but Miyamoto cut her off with the Zero Fighter Kick. Immediately after that Nagano got Kiryu with the Senpukyaku kick to get the win. Kamifuku took her frustration out on Kiryu backstage, blaming her for getting eliminated in the 1st Round. She then realised her insults was making her tag partner upset and took those comments back.

Today’s results mean Reiwa AA Cannon and Karate Tag both advance to the 2nd Round matches on 19th January while 121000000 go straight through to the semi-finals. Reiwa AA Cannon takes on Daydream in Round 2. Arai remembers losing to them in last year’s tournament so she wants to get revenge with Akai as her partner this year. Karate Tag meets Daisy Monkey in their 2nd Round bout. It is the rematch of Nagango’s debut from last March. Nagano’s bond with Miyamoto is getting stronger so she wants both of them to crush Daisy Monkey together. The winners of that match will face 121000000 in the semi-final on 29th January.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT WINTER ~KOBE PERFORMANCE~” Results

January 7, 2023

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT WINTER ~KOBE PERFORMANCE~”, 07/01/2023
Kobe Art Center
237 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Nao Kakuta defeated HIMAWARI with the Shiden Kai (7:05).
2. Yuki Kamifuku defeated Kaya Toribami with the Famouser (6:15).
3. Yuki Aino & Raku defeated Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa when Raku pinned Noa with the Doctor Yellow (11:30).
4. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao defeated Yuka Sakazaki & Mahiro Kiryu when Nakajima pinned Kiryu with the Northern Lights Suplex (10:42).
5. Max The Impaler, Heidi Howitzer & Trish Adora defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Pom Harajuku when Max pinned Harajuku after the Master Blaster (13:59).
6. Suzume & Arisu Endo defeated Mizuki & Moka Miyamoto when Suzume pinned Miyamoto with the Ring A Bell (13:40).

The latest homecoming for Mizuki was spoiled by Daisy Monkey. In the main event Suzume scored the win for her team by pinning Moka Miyamoto. She was happy to see so many people turn up for the show. Arisu Endo said she was able to do her very best because of the fans cheering. Suzume later said her courage boosts up to 200% whenever she teams with Endo. With the Max Heart Tournament coming around the corner, Daisy Monkey have their eyes on the prize. According to them, 2023 won’t be the year of the rabbit. It’s going to be the year of Daisy Monkey! Miyamoto was upset over the result and blamed the loss on herself. Mizuki encouraged her, saying she is tough enough to rely on whenever the match comes down to her.

Today was a nightmare for Pom Harajuku. She had to face her fears once more and be in the ring with Max The Impaler. When the match began she kept trying to escape until Daydream physically put her back into the ring. The match finish had Heidi Howitzer & Trish Adora hold back Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe while Max destroyed Harajuku. After the match Max picked up Harajuku’s prone body and carried her away. Backstage Howitzer told Max to let her go because The Wasteland War Party are here to win matches, not kidnap people.

Hyper Misao gave Mahiro Kiryu some treats before their match as a new year’s gift. When Kiryu said she did not have any gifts to give back, Misao attacked her. The incident forced Kiryu to apologize while kneeling on top of both Misao & Shoko Nakajima. Meanwhile Yuka Sakazaki stood in the corner eating all of the treats by herself. She ended up choking on them which briefly took her out of the match. Nakajima took some of the treats back after winning the match so as far as she’s concerned everyone is even. Misao decided that winning the match today is Kyoraku Kyomei’s gift for the new year.

Raku missing the Princess Tag Team Titles match last month due to illness is still on her mind. She & Yuki Aino ended up getting the win on today’s show when the pair beat Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa in an upset. Raku hopes that by itself will make Aino happy going into tomorrow’s show in Aino’s home region of Okayama. Aino reminded her that their 1st Round opponents in the Max Heart Tournament are Reiwa AA Cannon, the team they were supposed to fight for the Tag Titles.

Yamashita Concussed, Survival 3 Way For Universal Title, Big Matches For Supercards This March

1. Nao Kakuta Vs HIMAWARI
2. Yuki Kamifuku Vs Kaya Toribami
3. Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa Vs Yuki Aino & Raku

5. Yuka Sakazaki & Mahiro Kiryu Vs Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao
6. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Pom Harajuku Vs Max The Impaler, Heidi Howitzer & Trish Adora

Some injury news heading into the weekend shows. Miyu Yamashita was diagnosed with a mild concussion coming out of the Ittenyon main event. She was meant to wrestle in London for EVE tomorrow but that trip is now cancelled for safety concerns. EVE will announce their decision on her next appearance as soon as possible. It sounds like she is at least going to remain the EVE Champion for now.

Haruna Neko has a shoulder injury and will be out of action until 19th January.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Wakana Uehara will not have her next wrestling match until after 15th January. However she in the process of adjusting her schedule to become a regular on Tokyo Joshi Pro shows from that point onwards.

7. “Current Blast” Trademark Rights & Position Battle ~ Legend Resurrected! New Year Aerial Time Bomb & Current Blast Bat Death Match: Atsushi Onita, Shunma Katsumata & Toi Kojima Vs Sanshiro Takagi, Akito & Soma Takao

Here I was thinking the biggest corporate story in wrestling this week would be either DDT taking the trademark for exploding death matches from Atsushi Onita or Toi Kojima unseating Sanshiro Takagi as the president of CyberFight. It all sounds so quiet and peaceful compared to what’s happening in WWE the last 24 hours.

Other teams like Kyoraku Kyomei, Free WiFi, Daisy Monkey and Yuki Aino/Raku have warm up matches to take them through the weekend.

Hyper Misao is celebrating her “23rd” birthday by having a match against Trish Adora.

7. Special Single Match: Kotaro Suzuki Vs Soma Takao
8. DDT Universal Title – Survival 3 Way Match: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Naruki Doi Vs Daisuke Sasaki

A time limit draw has resulted in Naruki Doi and Daisuke Sasaki both getting a DDT Universal Title match against Yuki Ueno. The three of them agreed to do a Survival 3 Way Match, meaning it is elimination rules. Everyone in the match is convinced they can beat the other two in under 60 minutes.

We’re getting a preview for Kazusada Higuchi and Yuji Hino with their buddies Yuki Ishida and Yukio Naya coming along for the ride.

A decade ago Sanshiro Takagi teamed with Munenori Sawa as Hentai Dai Shacho. Now he is forming a new team with Sawa’s protege Fuminori Abe called Bonno Dai Shacho. It’s another path Takagi is taking in 2023 to bring himself back to his peak pro wrestling form.

The upcoming KO-D Tag Team Titles match is getting a warm up too with Shunma Katsumata and Makoto Oishi facing off in a singles match.

The 3rd “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament

December 22, 2022

The “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament is back for a third year in a row, landing once again in the late winter/early spring part of the calendar. The goal of the tournament as always is to determine the strongest tag team in Tokyo Joshi Pro. That might be contested no matter who wins it this time around because there is a major absence from one duo. The Magical Sugar Rabbits are not entering the 2023 tournament! Yuka Sakazaki will be spending part of January wrestling in America and is not be available to compete on some of the shows. In response to this Mizuki is refusing to enter the tournament because she does not want to enter it with anyone else but Sakazaki. Pom Harajuku also decided to skip it because she wants to put all of her energy into fully supporting Yuki Aino & Raku as a team. It leaves 121000000, Kyoraku Kyomei and last year’s winners Daydream as the only teams to have entered all three tournaments.

– Reiwa AA Cannon (Saki Akai & Yuki Arai)
– Daydream (Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe)
– 121000000 (Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh)
– Kyoraku Kyomei (Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao)
– Free WiFi (Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta)
– Toyo Mates (Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu)
– Yuki Aino & Raku
– Daisy Monkey (Suzume & Arisu Endo)
– Karate Tag (Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano)
– Haruna Neko & Kaya Toribami

429 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House

1. Yuki Aino defeated Kaya Toribami with the Venus DDT (6:58).
2. Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta defeated Maki Itoh & Mahiro Kiryu when Noa pinned Kiryu with the Blizzard Suplex (10:44).
3. 3 Way Match: Yuki Kamifuku defeated Hyper Misao and Haruna Neko when Kamifuku pinned Neko with the Famouser (6:39).
4. Rika Tatsumi defeated Raku with the White Dragon Sleeper (9:29).
5. Shoko Nakajima & Moka Miyamoto defeated Miu Watanabe & Pom Harajuku when Nakajima pinned Harajuku with the Northern Lights Suplex (11:44).
6. Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Suzume & Arisu Endo when Sakazaki pinned Endo with the Magical Merry-Go-Round (12:35).

Arisu Endo’s return home was somewhat spoiled by The Magical Sugar Rabbits. She was given a big entrance for the main event with dozens of volunteering fans waving flags and banners for her. In the match Mizuki got rid of Suzume so it all came down to Endo facing Yuka Sakazaki. Suzume would make the rescue to break up the Magical Merry-Go-Round once. From there Endo hit the Mt. Bandai Dropkick but her flurry of Elbow Strikes were cut off by one big return Elbow Strike from Sakazaki. She was then able to hit the Magical Merry-Go-Round without interruption to win the match.

Sakazaki gave more encouragement to both members of Daisy Monkey afterward. She told them their teamwork has gotten better since their last match against MagiRabi back in April. Mizuki thinks Endo’s frustration is coming from her having no wins but today she has loads of people in her hometown cheering for her. Endo told everyone her dream was to have a homecoming match like this and it came true. Now her dream is to become a bigger star and come back to Aizuwakamatsu City a stronger wrestler, even stronger than her seniors.

With little over a week to go until the International Princess Title match, Moka Miyamoto is doing everything she can to get ready to face Miu Watanabe. She hopes she can put out enough spirit to surpass Watanabe’s momentum and power. Watanabe knows she should not underestimate her challenger. All it takes is for Watanabe to get unlucky and all of a sudden she could be in a lot of trouble.

Arisu’s Hometown Blues, D-Ou Undercards, Takanashi’s Rival Vs Takanashi’s Other Rival

4. Rika Tatsumi Vs Raku
5. Miu Watanabe & Pom Harajuku Vs Shoko Nakajima & Moka Miyamoto
6. Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki Vs Suzume & Arisu Endo

The hometown girl Arisu Endo is feeling the pressure lately. No matter how much effort she puts into her matches she still loses in the end. She got words of encouragement from Yuka Sakazaki to evolve more because everyone else is also changing as Tokyo Joshi Pro grows bigger. For her homecoming Endo & Suzume are back together as Daisy Monkey to take on The Magical Sugar Rabbits. It’s a rematch of the Princess Tag Team Titles bout back in April. Mizuki pinned Endo to win that one.

Miyu Yamashita is wrestling in Spain this weekend for RCW so she is missing this show.

What an unlikely tag team Joey Janela & Yukio Sakaguchi is. Janela is currently on the indie run of his life defending the DDT Extreme Title around America and Mexico in Title Vs Title matches. He’s now a triple crown champion sharing a DDT championship with belts from GCW and Lucha Libre Vanguardia. However it sounds like he got a disgusting arm injury in a recent GCW and Zona 23 crossover show. No word yet on if it will effect his DDT bookings.

Once the trainee Kazuma Sumi has his debut match on 23rd October, he will move on to a few tag matches on the undercard of some D-Ou Grand Prix shows.

If Pheromones are forced to split up on 23rd October then the undercard matches may be changed.
