The new Sento Minzoku unit is already finding a list of opponents to fight. Ryuichi Sekine will no doubt want to see how powerful his friend Ryota Nakatsu has become since becoming the Union MAX Champion. They both vowed to fight each other to become stronger wrestlers. Fuminori Abe is too pure and well behaved to fit in with the unit so he has to become a rival instead. Somebody speaking on behalf of Minoru Fujita signed him up for membership but we’ll see if he’s really up for it.

1. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Yusuke Kubo & SAGAT defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Daichi Kazato & Yasu Urano when Hiroshi pinned Kazato with a Backslide Pin (12:50).
2. Gouma Ryu defeated Stretchman Man by Disqualification when Stretchman refused to break a 5 Count (0:34).
2a. Rematch: Stretchman Man Vs Gouma Ryu ended in a Double Disqualification after a Double Fake Weapon Attack (5:29).
3. Benmaru Tournament 0: Daiki Shimomura defeated Jun Masaoka with the Orange Sunset (10:33).
4. Aikata Vs Bozu! Tag Showdown: Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita defeated Ryuichi Sekine & Fuminori Abe when Fujita pinned Abe with a Modified Samson Clutch (11:00).
5. Naoki Tanizaki & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Takato Nakano when Tanizaki pinned Nakano with the Reverse Implant (13:39).
6. Doki! Hardcore Match Full Of Cans: Isami Kodaka defeated FUMA with the Isamuashi Zan (16:21).
Isami Kodaka was left bloodied but victorious over FUMA in their Hardcore match main event. Steel cans made up most of the weapons available but chairs and a ladder also came into play in a painful manner for both men. FUMA gave Kodaka a Brainbuster from the ladder onto a pile of cans. Later the ladder was bridged across two chairs and FUMA was given a Superplex onto it. Kodaka overwhelmed FUMA with his kicks and knee strikes until the Isamuashi Zan put FUMA away. Kodaka asked for a rematch afterwards. No matter how many times they fight each other, Kodaka always feels a new excitement over it. Kodaka ended the show by inviting the BASARA roster into the ring to hype up their next big show at Korakuen Hall on 21st September. Kodaka also talked about his upcoming trip to America for a death match tournament held by Game Changer Wrestling. He promised to win it and become the world’s best death match wrestler!
Ryota Nakatsu admitted he was disappointed with today’s performance when his team lost to Naoki Tanizaki’s side. Tanizaki added insult to injury after the match when he attacked Tanizaki and gave him the Implant. That made Nakatsu angry and more determined to take the Union MAX Title from Tanizaki at Korakuen.
Match #4 turned playful when Ikuto Hidaka ended up sitting on Minoru Fujita’s shoulders. That then encouraged Fuminori Abe to climb onto Ryuichi Sekine’s shoulders so the two teams could play a game of chicken in the ring. Cavalry were able to knock Hidaka off Fujita’s shoulders. The play time ended when Fujita gave Sekine a Low Blow. When Abe fell off, Fujita rolled him into a Samson Clutch for the three count.
Daiki Shimomura used a new arm assisted cradle move called the Orange Sunset to beat Jun Masaoka and win the Benmaru Tournament. Shimomura called Kodaka down to the ring afterwards to confirm there was no prize on the line. Kodaka admitted so. Kodaka then invited Masaoka to wrestle for BASARA on a regular basis including a rematch with Shimomura somewhere down the line. Masaoka nodded in acceptance. Shimomura was content with there being no prize because he has something else he wants. Shimomura wants to team up with Kodaka and form a unit together! The Korakuen card has already been determined so the new unit will have to be formed afterwards. Kodaka then told Shimomura he has to grow a tail until then. If he’s going to do his best to impress Kodaka then Shimomura needs to have a monkey tail growing out of him!
The match between Gouma Ryu and Stretchman Man went off to a bad start when Ryu asked for the match to be changed to a Pro Wrestling Trial. When that was declined, Stretchman pushed Ryu up against the ropes and refused to move away during the 5 count so he got disqualified. An immediate rematch was agreed upon. Stretchman complained to Yuya Okada for counting too slow for his pins. Okada denied such a thing then counted fast when Ryu gave Stretchman a School Boy. Okada later took a ref bump which allowed Stretchman to grab his hook and Ryu to grab his law book. When Okada got back up, Ryu and Stretchman threw their weapons at each other and both faked being attacked by the other. Okada fell for both tricks and disqualified the two of them resulting in no winner. Stretchman demanded a rematch for next time and Ryu told him it will be settled in court!

1. FUMA & SAGAT defeated Takato Nakano & Daiki Shimomura when FUMA submitted Nakano with the Iron Maiden (10:18).
2. Best Stretchman V3, Best Stretchman Amazon & Stretchman Man defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Gouma Ryu & Yasu Urano when Stretchman Man pinned Ryu after the Stretch Kick (10:47).

4. Official Tag No. 1 Decision Battle: Ikuto Hidaka defeated Fuminori Abe with the Stray Dog High Kick (16:20).
5. Ryota Nakatsu & Ryuichi Sekine defeated Naoki Tanizaki & Manabu Hara when Sekine pinned Hara with the Dragon Kick (13:44).
The Dove Pro team tried to protest the result by saying Manabu Hara kicked out before three but the result stood. Naoki Tanizaki wanted to provoke Ryota Nakatsu after the match but Nakatsu was able to annoy him with his replies instead. Ryuichi Sekine wished Nakatsu the best of luck in winning the Union MAX Title on 21st September and he rallied the crowd to give Nakatsu a toast to show their support.
Ikuto Hidaka defeated Fuminori Abe in a match between the current NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champions in ZERO1. There were no bad feelings by either man over the result after the match.
The former Hercules Senga/Banana Senga has transformed into Stretchman Man! He wrestles in his own Best Stretchman costume and also has a large hook over his right hand. Best Stretchman V3 called the transformation a perfect remodel of a wrestler. Stretchman Man used his hook to slash across Gouma Ryu’s chest. He then commanded the two other Stretchmen to finish Ryu off with the double Stretch Kick. V3 told the fans that the strongest trio in BASARA history is now born!
FUMA promoted “FUMA FEST VOL.2” happening on 8th December. He admitted there are no bands or wrestlers booked yet. There isn’t even a date decided for tickets to go on sale. But he is still enthusiastic about the event.

2. Benmaru Tournament 0 – Round 1: Jun Masaoka defeated Takato Nakano with a Thrust Kick (8:10).

4. Special Single Match: Isami Kodaka Vs Daisuke Sekimoto ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
5. Sakigake! Iron Family Vs Bloody Brothers!: Masaya Takahashi, Toshiyuki Sakuda & Takayuki Ueki defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Trans-Am ★ Ryuji & SAGAT when Takahashi pinned SAGAT with the Jackhammer (15:14).
6. Cavalry Vs Astronauts!: Ryota Nakatsu & Ryuichi Sekine defeated Takuya Nomura & Fuminori Abe when Sekine submitted Abe with the Let’s Combine (17:16).
Cavalry were able to win the main event by having Ryuichi Sekine hold Fuminori Abe in place with a Full Nelson so Ryota Nakatsu could hit him with a High Kick to the head. Abe tried to recover and put Sekine in a Triangle Choke but it was countered into the Let’s Combine for the submission finish. Both of Cavalry admitted they felt jealous of Takuya Nomura after wrestling him, Nakatsu because of his skill and Sekine because he is handsome.
The Bloody Brothers weren’t sure what to make of Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Trans-Am ★ Ryuji. They asked each other “What are these people?” when they saw Hiroshi & Ryuji perform yoga in the ring. They were freaked out even more when Hiroshi woke up from his peaceful state during a Sleeper Hold spot and pulled scary faces at everyone.
Twenty minutes wasn’t enough to determine a winner between Isami Kodaka and Daisuke Sekimoto. The two shook hands after their match and teased having a rematch down the line.
Even though Gouma Ryu was the obvious weak link on his team, he still did his best and joined in with the IRON PRIEST spots when he could. He lost the match for his team but FUMA enthusiastically recognised the hard work he put in today. FUMA called it the birth of a new Heavy Metal Warrior. Yusuke Kubo didn’t see things the same way and said today’s result was disappointing. FUMA ignored Kubo and called Ryu a saviour. He then revealed that “FUMA FEST” will return for its second show on 8th December with Gouma Ryu’s law firm as the sponsor! He doesn’t even need permission because he already added the firm’s sponsor logo on the show poster.
Daiki Shimomura announced that with DNA taking a break he will now be wrestling for BASARA! He wrestled in a brand new black costume with some green and orange added to it to mark the new step in his career.

5. Two Major Renaming Matches – Name Contra Name: Best Stretchman V3 defeated Banana Senga with the Explosive Axe Bomber (12:26). (Special Referee: Tsutomu Oosugi)
*Hercules Senga is supposed to be renamed Banana Senga for the rest of his life. Instead he will become a Best Stretchman.
6. Isami Kodaka Debut 16th Anniversary Memorial Match: Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita defeated Isami Kodaka & Naomichi Marufuji when Hidaka pinned Kodaka with the Iwami Ginzan (15:10).
7. Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ – Final: Ryota Nakatsu defeated FUMA with the V Slider (17:56).
Ryota Nakatsu defeated FUMA in a wild match to win this year’s Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~! The match found its way outside the ring a couple of time with FUMA Double Stomping Nakatsu along one of the rows. FUMA later climbed one of the nearby counters and jumped off so he could do the Heavy Metal Anthem. Nakatsu moved out of the way and FUMA landed on the floor. Both of them narrowly returned to the ring in time to continue fighting. Nakatsu avoided FUMA’s Jawbreaker Kick and blocked a Wrist Clutch Exploder to gain control of the match. Nakatsu then hit several Buzzsaw Kicks, a German Suplex and finished FUMA off with the V Slider to win. He thanked FUMA for the match and told him they will face each other again someday. Nakatsu received the 500,000 yen prize money and passed it over to Ryuichi Sekine. He then told everyone his next plan. He wants to challenge for the Union MAX Title at Korakuen Hall on 21st September! He knows Naoki Tanizaki is out there somewhere listening. He better be ready for him!
Isami Kodaka & Naomichi Marufuji did well teaming together but ultimately couldn’t overcome Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita. Kodaka & Marufuji did sandwich Knee Strikes to their opponents and Kodaka even did a Shirauni. Hidaka recovered to stun Kodaka with a High Kick and got the three count with the Iwami Ginzan Gutbuster. All four wrestlers shook hands after the match. Kodaka also appealed for a singles match with Marufuji. Backstage Kodaka and Marufuji joked about the idea. Marufuji said he doesn’t want to do it. Kodaka’s response was he won’t book Marufuji for his 20th Anniversary show. Marufuji said he will buy a ticket and come anyway. In all seriousness, Marufuji was honored to be chosen by Kodaka to be his partner for this big occasion. He doesn’t know if he will come back but Kodaka can always get in contact with him.
There were two gigantic matches with everything on the line today. Never mind the Heaven Summit Final or Kodaka’s Anniversary, there were wrestling names on the line! Tsutomu Oosugi had a busy day by being the referee for both matches. First up, Ryuichi Sekine got the upset victory over Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi. It took some effort but Sekine kept the former MAX Champion down with the Dragon Kick. The result means that Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi must now be renamed Trans-Am ★ Ryuji. He describes today as Armageddon but accepts his fate. He is already teaching the fans how to pronounce his new name.
The 2nd Name Contra Name bout had the stakes reversed. This time the loser between Best Stretchman V3 and Banana Senga would be forced to keep their name for the rest of their life! At first Oosugi didn’t know what side to take. Both wrestlers tried to make him pose with them only for the other guy to cut them off. When Senga pinned Stretchman with his feet on the ropes for leverage, Oosugi refused to count and told Senga he is judging this match fairly. Stretchman began taking the match so seriously that he stripped out of his costume and fought with even more spirit. He put Senga away with the Explosive Axe Bomber. Hercules Senga must now stay as Banana Senga forever! Senga accepted his fate until Stretchman changed his mind. Senga is no longer going to be a banana. Senga is now going to become a Stretchman! Senga protested but V3 knocked him out with the Trigger Point and carried him out of the ring laughing maniacly. Next month will see the debut of a third Best Stretchman! Backstage Gouma Ryu tried to stop them because without Hercules Senga around, the Pro Wrestling Trials no longer have a prosecutor.
Takuya Nomura’s first visit to BASARA saw him pitted against three of the more colorful characters in the Metal Family. He didn’t know what to think of Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi shrugging off his kicks with the power of yoga. Nomura & Manabu Hara’s kicks were able to leave a mark eventually but their reliance on doing them allowed both Hiroshi & Yusuke Kubo to vitally counter them with Dragon Screws. SAGAT withstood Fuminori Abe’s Octopus Hold and he hit the Goregrind to win one for the Metal Family.
Gouma Ryu relied heavily on Isami Kodaka distracting the referee to have even a slight chance of beating Yoshihisa Uto. The distractions meant the ref missed Ryu tapping out to a Crab Hold. He also missed Ryu hitting Uto with his law book. Ryu thought he had something when he successfully gave Uto the Running Neckbreaker Drop. It all came crashing down though when Uto cut him off with a Lariat. From there Uto picked up the win with the Reverse Tiger Driver.
The opener saw Takato Nakano & Akiyori Takizawa being fired up to take on the veteran team of Takumi Tsukamoto & Yasu Urano. The fire was there, the experience was not. Tsukamoto trapped Nakano in a nasty looking Crab Hold to end the match.

6. Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ – Semi-Final: Ryota Nakatsu defeated Yasu Urano with the V Slider (19:51).
The final of the 2018 Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ is set. FUMA faces Ryota Nakatsu on 12th July. Nakatsu was up for the challenge against the much more experienced Yasu Urano. He fought out of the Modern Times cradle and got the win with the V Slider. FUMA defeated his Metal Family stablemate Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi by rendering him unconscious with the Iron Maiden. The move is the same submission hold as Daisuke Sasaki’s Crossover Facelock. When Hiroshi recovered, FUMA shook his hand then Hiroshi raise FUMA’s hand in victory so there is no ill will between them.
When the main event was done, FUMA entered the ring and offered a handshake to Nakatsu. However Nakatsu ignored FUMA so he could give his own handshake to Urano outside the ring. FUMA asked again and Nakatsu blew him off a second time. Nakatsu told FUMA he won’t shake his hand before their match. FUMA snapped and attacked Nakatsu while screaming “I will win!” When he left the ring Nakatsu was helped back to his feet by Ryuichi Sekine. Nakatsu promised to win the tournament so he can share the 500,000 yen prize with Sekine.
Isami Kodaka has been practising Moonsaults during the week. It paid off because that move won the 6-Man Tag match for his team.
Ryuichi Sekine decided to fit in with Banana Senga by putting on a yellow suit and becoming the monster farmer Noko Kaijin Let’s Combine! Senga snatched victory from the jaws of defeat when he pinned Best Stretchman V3 after Senga was hit with the Diving Best Stretch Kick. Senga declared that he has won the final battle so he is now quitting the gimmick. He then remembered that he has another match against Best Stretchman V3 scheduled for 12th July. They agreed to a final stipulation. The loser will be forced to keep their gimmick for the rest of their life!
Sekine also found out he will be facing Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi on the same show in a Name Contra Name match. The loser must change their name from Ryuichi to Ryuji. Tsutomu Oosugi has agreed to be the referee for both stipulation matches.

6. KO-D Openweight Title: Shigehiro Irie (c) Vs Kazusada Higuchi
It’s been a month since he won it but Shigehiro Irie is ready for his first KO-D Openweight Title defence. Kazusada Higuchi has been a thorn in his side in the build up to this match. Power Vs Power is to be expected here but some words from Higuchi suggests that something more will be needed to determine who wins.
How much can you take DAMNATION at their word? They promise not to cheat or interfere in the DDT Extreme Title Match for the sake of sportsmanship but other than that there hasn’t really been anything else put in place to enforce the stipulation.
KUDO is celebrating 15 years of being a pro wrestler but everyone else involved in the match have their own accomplishments from 15 years ago to celebrate from company debuts to tournament wins.
DDT’s website has given a run down on Sammy Guevara in preparation for his debut. He’s being put in the ring against Mike Bailey because he might go through the same road Bailey has been on during his DDT career so far. Guevara’s nickname of “The Best Ever” has DDT wondering if he can prove it. Whatever happens, this could be the start of a new Japanese dream for a foreign wrestler. I think they have high hopes for this lad.
