Shinichiro Tominaga has gone down with the flu and cannot participate in the main event. Replacing him is Shin Suzuki, a friend of his who has a similar college club pro wrestling background.

A fight broke out between Ken Ohka and Takato Nakano at Wednesday’s press conference for Sumo Hall. When the participants for the UWA World 6-Man Tag Team Titles match got together, Urano bragged that Nakano could beat Ohka easily. Ohka took offence and challenged Nakano to a match. When it was accepted the two began fighting until Urano kicked Ohka with a Low Blow.

Imanari remembers being a high school student when he first saw Atsushi Onita wrestle live. When he was about to take his exams he even contacted Onita for advice via e-mail and received a response. Imanari thanks both Onita and Takagi for making him a pro wrestler, one who will help build the new era of Current Blast death matches! Asuka has already done Hardcore and Death Match wrestling so she is looking forward to doing Current Blast matches. Naya says it has been half a year since he signed with DDT. He wants to break out of his shell and fight under his own will. FUMA was not around to give any comments.

With another Princess Tag Team Titles defence under their belts, NEO Biishiki-gun were hoping to dance the night away in Sumo Hall instead of wrestling there. However Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe stepped up to challenge them. The story of Hyper Misao transforming into Sakisama’s guardswoman all began with an incident between them, Tatsumi and Watanabe back in February so this match has come full circle.

Two more teams are entering the Tag Gauntlet. Naya & Hall are one. The other are The Bakuretsu Sisters! There is a running joke with DDT’s big shows where the company always denies booking The Steiner Brothers in their Q&A page. It’s been going on for so long that Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino have had enough. If the Steiners aren’t showing up then the Sisters are taking their spot instead!

Her debut will be on 9th November and she was chosen to face Maki Itoh for the International Princess Title on the 16th. Nightshade is 23 years old, 162cm high and has been wrestling for 5 years. She is the current PCW Women’s Champion and is also a regular for Pro Wrestling: EVE.

At a recent HEAT-UP show Shota defeated Joji Otani in a singles match. Shota told him if he wanted a rematch it would have to be in a Ganpro ring. Otani approached Ganpro asking to get another match with Shota, this time for the GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles. Ganpro is giving him what he wants and even provided the tag partners for him.

The Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title gets its own all star match with the current champion as well as previous champions teaming up against each other. The theme is both teams have a combined 11 title defences between them. Ken Ohka has 3 defences and Isami Kodaka has 8. Keisuke Ishii has 6 defences and Shuichiro Katsumura has 5.

Shuhei Washida is going through a trial series of singles matches, as is normal for pro wrestling rookies. First up he gets Shigehiro Irie.

Keisuke Ishii had to throw every big move he could think of to beat Shuichiro Katsumura. He used a Tiger Suplex into the turnbuckles, hit him in midair with the Kneel Kick when Katsumura jumped off the top rope, hit a Running Knee Kick and tried the Double Arm Clutch Driver. Katsumura was finally defeated when Ishii hit one last Kneel Kick.

Ishii said he could feel Katsumura’s desire to wrestle in Sumo Hall but in the end it is Ishii who will defend the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title there. Ishii wants to make Ganbare☆Wrestling more appealing than DDT and BASARA. This claim attracted the attention of Fuminori Abe! He wanted to show off his desire too so he sang to everyone. He then asked Ishii if he could be his challenger at Sumo Hall. Abe revealed that BASARA wants to clear out all of the championships in the DDT family by the time BASARA splits off into independence.

The Ganpro team didn’t waste any time bringing the fight to Irie-gun. They launched an attack during the in-ring introductions. But Irie-gun held together until it was time to launch the counter attack. Mizuki Watase & Ultra Soki held the Ganpro team back while Shigehiro Irie smashed Ken Ohka with the Beast Bomber. Irie asked Ohka afterwards if he was frustrated because he is no longer the energetic wrestler he used to be. Irie said they are on different paths but this won’t be their last battle. He wants to fight Ohka again when he gets stronger.

The big singles match between Yumehito Imanari and Kenichiro Arai ended in controversy. Arai reversed a Figure 4 Leg Lock and Imanari had no way to break out of it. Arai’s cornerman Shota grabbed the towel from Imanari’s cornerman Shinichiro Tominaga and threw it into the ring behind the referee’s back. The referee thought that Tominaga threw in the towel and declared Arai the winner. Imanari wasn’t upset. In fact he was impressed to witness Arai being the wrestling master that he is! Arai didn’t know what to think of Imanari’s attitude and left the ring. Imanari treated this as a moral victory because he now has Arai’s attention.

Maki Itoh interrupted Yuna Manase’s victory speech to tell her what everyone really wants. They want Itoh to challenge Manase for the International Princess Title! Itoh’s dream is to prove she is the cutest in the world. As long as she puts the work in, her dream will come true. Manase laughed, said “Fuck off! Big Head!” and accepted Itoh’s challenge for 19th October.

Suzume tried to lock Yuka Sakazaki outside of the venue so she could win their match by countout but her plan failed. Sakazaki dropped Suzume with a Northern Lights Bomb then pinned her with a Sliding Lariat.

Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu were called the Toyo University Combo because they both went to that college. Although they lost, Mina Shirakawa said Kamifuku has the best Dropkick in the world and she is confident they can beat NEO Biishiki-gun for the Princess Tag Team Titles.

As is usually the habit for Rika Tatsumi in multi-woman matches, she found herself outnumbered and wrestling as if she was in a Handicap match. She got the better of Raku and YUMI by hitting her signature moves on both of them.

Haruna Neko will have her return match on 19th October. She had been out of action with injuries since May.

The main event is now an elimination 3 Way Match. Jiro Kuroshio decided this because he wants to beat both HARASHIMA and Tetsuya Endo in the one match. Also he wants to cherish his time wrestling in Japan before he relocates to America next year. That’s why he did not choose a stipulation that allows weapon usage. HARASHIMA has experience wrestling in such a match, winning one in a Sumo Hall main event back in 2014. Endo thinks HARASHIMA is deteriorating as proved by his recent wins over him including a direct pinfall. Endo also says he will move to America next year so he can go back home to New York. When he was corrected about his hometown really being Shiraishi City in Miyagi, he dismisses it with “That’s not America” as his response.

The power of rugby has given Yuki Iino a massive boost in confidence while Daisuke Sasaki is trying to figure out if he likes or hates the sport. Iino pinned Sasaki at yesterday’s show in Fukushima in a match featuring rugby tackles from both of them. Sasaki refuses to accept the result but also can’t handle being unable to tackle Iino effectively.

Yuki Ueno injured his left foot during the Campsite Pro Wrestling match last week. He already missed the past weekend’s shows but has been given the all clear to return at Korakuen Hall.

A note was found in the DDT office written by Saki Akai’s demon relative Saki. She may show up again soon but the complete card for Korakuen has already been decided without her.

Whoever leaves the show as the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Champion is guaranteed to defend it in Sumo Hall this November. Keisuke Ishii was the champion before Shuichiro Katsumura won it off him back in January. Since then Katsumura has defended it five times. If he wins here then he will tie Ishii’s amount of successful defences.

Just to be clear, Kenichiro Arai is the Toryumon graduate and Yumehito Imanari is the art student.

Shota and Shinichiro Tominaga face each other in a battle between damaged ACLs.

Originally Koharu Hinata was booked for the show but she is now unable to appear. In a completely unrelated matter Miss Koharu became available so she takes her place.

Nakajima’s excursion to Mexico with CMLL will be over by the time this show takes place. No word yet on if she will be on this show but it’s likely. Tokyo Joshi have confirmed she will not be on the 9th, 10th and 16th November shows.

1. Aiseki Tag Vs Aijin Tag: Fuminori Abe & Ikuto Hidaka defeated Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino when Hidaka submitted Kamino with the Shawn Capture (11:58).
2. Daichi Kazato defeated Daiki Shimomura with the Axe Bomber (10:43).
3. Takumi Tsukamoto & Yasu Urano defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Akiyori Takizawa when Urano pinned Takizawa after the Zudon from Tsukamoto (16:06).
4. Sakigake!! Iron Family Tag Match To Reconfirm Their Bonds: FUMA & Yusuke Kubo Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT ended in a No Contest (5:29).
4a. 4 Way Match: FUMA defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Yusuke Kubo and SAGAT when FUMA pinned SAGAT with the Heavy Metal Anthem (8:40).
5. Union MAX Title: Ryuichi Sekine (c) defeated Isami Kodaka by Knockout with a Right High Kick (26:04).

It’s only his first defence but Ryuichi Sekine has removed arguably the biggest threat of his Union MAX Title reign by beating Isami Kodaka with a dangerously close finish. After a tense 25 minutes of fighting, both men were reduced to throwing every kick they could at each other. Sekine and Kodaka were both at their limit and struggling to stand to the point where they were at risk of being counted out. After another back and forth both men were laid out with Sekine getting the last strike with a Right High Kick. Sekine was barely able to get up by the count of 9 but Kodaka was down and out. Sekine thanked Kodaka for the match but admitted he does not feel like he exceeded him today. Beating him once isn’t enough to achieve that. BASARA will be going independent soon so Sekine will follow Kodaka into independence! He also said he will defend the MAX Title against any other wrestler on the BASARA roster.

Any attempt to bring harmony among The Iron Family went right out the window with their tag match. The Hiroshi du Soleil team pushed each other during their entrance while the IRON PRIEST team came out separately despite using the same song. The dissension within both teams got worse to the point where the tag team match looked more like a 4 Way Match. The match was called off when the referee Yuya Okada got knocked out during the chaos. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi got the match to restart but this time as a 4 Way. When FUMA won, Hiroshi began singing “Imagine” which reduced FUMA to tears. FUMA said he never thought Hiroshi was into metal or rock music but here he is singing a song from the source of heavy metal… The Beatles!(?) Yusuke Kubo and SAGAT joined in the hug and all four forgave each other. The bonds of The Iron Family have been healed!

The main event of “FUMA FEST VOL.3” is FUMA Vs TAJIRI in a Hardcore Match. The show will take place on 16th November.
