1. Shoko Nakajima defeated Pom Harajuku with the Northern Lights Suplex (9:17).
2. Shin Numabukuro Ghost Story Death Match: Yumehito Imanari defeated Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda and Amon Tsurumi when Imanari knocked out Tsurumi with the It’s You (9:22).
3. Rika Tatsumi defeated Demonio with the Hip Attack (17:00).
4. Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Hyper Misao defeated Miyu Yamashita, Hikari Noa & Yuki Aino when Sakazaki pinned Aino with the Burning Magical Merry-Go-Round (16:34).

Tokyo Joshi Pro celebrated Labor Thanksgiving Day with a special one-off show that was half a tribute to their earlier years and half an excuse for the women to go absolutely bonkers. There were familiar faces from TJPW’s past present in the venue. The main event however was not built around nostalgia. Instead it looked like a blatant attempt by the craziest women on the roster to burn the entire place down! When Hikari Noa was one of the quieter wrestlers in the match that’s saying something.

Miyu Yamashita wore her old gear and danced to her previous entrance song “Genghis Khan” by Berryz Kobo. Then in the main event she ended up getting trapped in a cage and surrounded with fireworks. Everyone else happily set off the fireworks while Yamashita was at her most helpless. Then Mizuki did a dive from the top of the tour bus onto everyone below. There was more pyro fun when Hyper Misao armed herself with a mallet and helmet that both set off fireworks. Yuki Aino grabbed some sparklers until Yuka Sakazaki decided to set the back of Aino’s outfit on fire and then spin her in circles with the Magical Merry-Go-Round, all while the pyro was still going off.

Don’t know if it was Uno, Dos or another Demonio entirely. The poor demon was terrorized by Rika Tatsumi in her latest fight against the ungodly beings that show up whenever TJPW is in Tsurumi. This time Tatsumi dragged Demonio away from the venue to the streets where the fought along a pedestrian crossing. Tatsumi also took the time to get some fast food to eat while she was beating up Demonio. Back in the venue Tatsumi found a forklift and wanted to use it. She couldn’t get it to work though and Demonio recovered enough to attack her. Antonio Honda came to Tatsumi’s aid and the two of them hit a Double Bionic Elbow. Tatsumi then finished off Demonio with a Sliding Hip Attack.

Honda also took part in a 3 Way Match with Yumehito Imanari and Super Sasadango Machine. The match was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Amon Tsurumi. He was here to transform the bout into a Ghost Story Death Match! He told his scary story and at the climax caused people to faint one by one by pointing at them and shouting “It’s you!” Imanari resisted though and gave Tsurumi a taste of his own medicine by doing it to him! Tsurumi collapsed and Imanari did his own Atsushi Onita impersonation while “Wild Thing” played. That means Imanari was the winner.

Shoko Nakajima noticed a trail of kaiju toys were laid out by the entrance way. She couldn’t help but pick them up and follow the trail until it led her towards a parked car in the venue. She opened the door and out popped Pom Harajuku with a surprise attack! Nakajima regained ground in the ring by attacking Harajuku with one of the kaiju toys. She ended up winning with the Northern Lights Suplex.

Some of the old TJPW talent who attended the show also got involved one way or another. Minami Momochi was the promotion’s first ring announcer so it was only right to take up that job again today. Nodoka Tenma appeared in the ring with Miraclians for the show opening speech. She later reappeared wearing a Nodoka-oneesan hat to perform Pin Pon Pan Gymnastics with current members of the roster. Marika Kobashi and KANNA were both in the audience and helped Yamashita complete a rubber band snap spot on Misao. Akane Miura worked staff duties but I think she usually does that in TJPW anyway.

There’s only a few matches left for Yuka Sakazaki before she graduates from Tokyo Joshi Pro. The next one is what could be the last meeting of The Magical Sugar Rabbits and Daydream. The two teams were meant to face each other for the Princess Tag Team Titles back in June but Sakazaki’s neck injury prevented it from happening. Sakazaki said her neck is back in perfect condition so she can fight with all of her heart for her remaining matches. She wants to do the match with Daydream before she goes so it is happening in Osaka.

Both HIMAWARI and Toga made it to the next round of the Next Generation Tournament. It’s now between them, Shino Suzuki and Wakana Uehara in the race to the final being held next month.

10. Princess Of Princess Title: Shoko Nakajima defeated Miyu Yamashita (c) with the Diving Senton (19:04).
*Miyu Yamashita fails in V5. Shoko Nakajima becomes the 10th Princess Of Princess Champion!

In its ninth year of existence, Tokyo Joshi Pro has reached the “Dream Stage” that is Sumo Hall! In the main event, Shoko Nakajima brought an end to Miyu Yamashita’s reign as Princess Of Princess Champion. She took the Skull Kick to the back of the head but was able to dodge a second one thrown from the front. Yamashita was caught in a Frankensteiner for a nearfall and was left stunned with a Double Arm DDT. That was the end for her because Nakajima then hit the Diving Senton for the three count. It is the second Princess Title reign for Nakajima, reclaiming the belt in the same venue she lost it in November 2019.

Nakajima said today was the strongest version of Yamashita she had ever seen. After years of fighting together, no matter what pressure they were under, Yamashita never showed any fear. That is why Nakajima wanted to win so badly today, to be like Yamashita. She doesn’t know for sure if she surpassed her today but she knows for sure one day she will. Either way, the two will continue fighting together for TJPW. Nakajima later said her goal is to defend the Princess Title at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022” in Saitama Super Arena on 12th June. She thought last year’s title match at the show was really cool and would love to be in that position on behalf of everyone. Yamashita has mixed with happy and sad emotions over the show. Her dream to headline Sumo Hall came true but she lost. Today isn’t the happy ending for TJPW because she wants the company to grow even bigger for their supporters! She couldn’t win today but that just means she has to get stronger and restart her training. However she admits if she was to fight Nakajima for the championship again she won’t be able to beat her. The next time she wants to be in a Princess Title match will be when she is confident she will win.

It’s going to be a difficult task to take the Princess Tag Team Titles away from The Magical Sugar Rabbits. The strongest challengers in the company are Daydream and they weren’t able to beat them today. Double team moves were the plays of the day with MagiRabi hitting versions 1, 2 and 3 of Toy Story. Miu Watanabe used her individual strength to give both MagiRabi a Double Giant Swing by herself. Rika Tatsumi tried to put Yuka Sakazaki away with Hip Attacks but couldn’t get the job done. Watanabe got back in only to get wiped out by Mizuki’s Whirling Candy. Tatsumi was then dealt with MagiRabi’s signature moves until Sakazaki finished her off with the Magical Girl Niwatori Yaro. Sakazaki calls this a huge victory because of where it took place. Mizuki is cheery again because she wanted to win the Max Heart Tournament earlier this year and they just beat the winners today. Daydream were obviously upset over losing but they said they will find a new dream to make come true.

Yuki Arai’s first championship match in TJPW career ended in failure thanks to Maki Itoh. The International Princess Title bout was big enough for Kero Tanaka to be the ring announcer for. Also Itoh was joined by Naoko Hara and Mayu Kishida from the idol group Toki wo Ikiru (of which Itoh is also a member) to dance for her entrance. Itoh choked Arai with her microphone stand and showed no mercy as the match progressed. Arai kept fighting and held onto Itoh as much as she could but an Avalanche DDT followed by the Itoh Deluxe made her give up in the end. Itoh asked for Arai’s handshake afterwards and Arai reluctantly accepted. Arai said next time she will win and be the one who asks for Itoh’s handshake instead. However Itoh is sure she will continue beating Arai no matter how many times they fight. But she also believes Arai is stronger than she thinks. She has power, stamina and guts but is missing one thing to make the complete package. Arai has all of the ingredients, she just isn’t a good cook yet. Itoh will still be here for Arai to challenge her again in the future.

Hikaru Shida did the deal because nobody kicks out of the Falcon Arrow! Even though her match against Hikari Noa was not a Hardcore match, the two couldn’t help but hit each other with a kendo stick and a chair outside the ring. Noa’s back was targeted throughout and Shida’s plan paid off when her opponent struggled to throw a Super Kick and could not hold onto the Blizzard Suplex during an attempted pin due to the pain. Shida went on to win but as she walked back up the ramp, she couldn’t help but notice Aja Kong on commentary and give her a determined look. Backstage Shida said she is grateful to wrestle in Japan again. She was surprised that Noa wanted to fight a Hardcore match against her but she likes that kind of spirit. Next time they fight Shida wants it under Hardcore rules for sure!

For the first time in TJPW, the entire NEO Biishiki-gun were together in one place. Sakisama was teaming with her usual loyal servants but the rest of the household stood with them for their entrance. Ai Shimizu, KANNA, Azusa Christie, Yoshiko-sama (with her teddy bear Charlotte) and even Misao were all seen in public again for the first time in years. The grand entrance made everyone forget that minutes earlier Raku & Ram Kaichow were walking down the ramp together looking like a newly married couple. During the match itself the maids Mei Saint-Michel & Martha worked together like a well oiled team against Pom Harajuku. Later Yukio Saint Laurent tried to stab his opponents with an injection but Kaichow turned the needle on himself. She also gave Sakisama the Rainmaker. Marika Kobashi took over and tried using moves like the Front Neck Lock and Shining Wizard on Sakisama. However Martha used a mop to distract her, Saint-Michel (with Charlotte) hit a mop assisted Diving Double Knee Drop and Sakisama pinned Kobashi with the Academy Award. After the match Sakisama gave Kobashi a red rose as a parting gift. Kobashi said that in the past she ripped up the roses Sakisama gave her but this time she will bring it home with her. She can tell this one was given out of respect and maybe even love?

Even though The Bakuretsu Sisters were opponents, they made their entrance together with a live performance of “BAKURETSU POWER” by the band angela. The younger sister won out in the end with Yuki Aino pinning Nodoka Tenma with the UBV. She said she finally found out how strong Tenma is by wrestling her one on one. She was happy to win because she admires her sister the most and shouldn’t be losing to her when Tenma is leaving pro wrestling to farm in Okayama. Tenma wants Aino to continue wrestling and doesn’t think she will need a new tag partner as a substitute for herself.

The entrances of Asuka and Yuki Kamifuku was just as much a competition as the match itself. Asuka had a routine with a male dancer while Kamifuku arrived in the arena on a motorbike looking for drinks and a smoke. The two began in the ring with light teases that grew more and more aggressive until it became a full on match. Kamifuku’s reliance on the Famouser didn’t work and she was dropped with a Sit Down Power Bomb. Asuka then picked up the win with the Moonsault. Kamifuku admitted to feeling more nervous about this match than any title bout she was ever in. She believes it is up to her to become stronger than Asuka because there will be new people coming into TJPW and looking up to her. And even if she loses to Asuka in the ring, she will never lose to her in the bar! Asuka said their bond has deepened and VENYU will team together again in the future.

TJPW’s first ring announcer Minami Momochi was on hand to witness the match between Hyper Misao and Sanshiro Takagi. She wasn’t the only face from the past because former TJPW wrestlers Nonoko and MIZUHO were in attendance to present flowers to Misao. The superhero said Takagi was not the crazy wrestler he used to be so she wanted to destroy him. Nobody was more shocked than her when Takagi showed up dressed like her in bodypaint! He grabbed the microphone and introduced himself as Hyper Sanshiro, the President who protects sales and numbers in Tokyo Joshi Pro! Misao attacked him with the help of Nonoko and MIZUHO. They then fought up the ramp on bicycles, crashing into each other. Another graduated TJPW wrestler appeared when Akane Miura from the ring crew hit Takagi with a Lariat on the ramp. Takagi knew the match was getting out of control so he ordered the rules be changed to Falls Count Anywhere! After he did that, Misao was seen standing on the top of the aisle and she jumped down onto everyone below! A castle of chairs was built in the ring and Misao got back on her bicycle. She shouted this was what she always dreamed to do in Sumo Hall and crashed into the chairs after Takagi jumped out of the way. Takagi hit her with chairs and called her a phoney hero. He sprayed her with a fire extinguisher, calling it the Hero Beam. But when he attempted to do the I Am A Hero onto some plastic boxes, Misao rolled out of the way and he crashed through them. Misao then did her own I Am A Hero to pin the DDT president for the three count! Misao said that as long as Takagi is her Peter Pan, she will always aim for his head. Takagi said he’s been dressed like this since 8am, even doing the pre-show speech to the entire locker room looking like that. He told Misao that today she has become a real hero! The two hugged and Misao then gave Takagi a Stunner.

Yuna Manase returned to TJPW with a new gang of friends with her. The visiting foursome from Ganbare☆Pro defeated the home team led by Nao Kakuta. Manase took her new role as the female Ken Ohka to heart by wrestling an outfit similar to his. Mahiro Kiryu also debuted a new costume too. Kaya Toribami and HARUKAZE had a sequence against each other that could have went either way. YuuRI joined in with Manasae to deal some pain to Kakuta & Haruna Neko. But Neko got to fight back by giving Moeka Haruhi the Nekodebreaker. The match came down to Manase and Kiryu and ended when Manase pinned her with the Lariat. The TJPW team are taking the loss as a learning experience and that more work needs to be done to make the company stronger. Manase credited her team’s win on the bond formed between all four of them. They all fought using the spirit of Ganbare☆Joshi! Manase wants everyone to know that CyberFight has so much hot joshi action from not just DDT and TJPW but Ganjo too. She wants everyone to come see Ganpro at Ota Ward Gymnasium on 10th July.

The show began with the anticipated debut of the TikTok Karate Nurse Juria Nagano. She teamed with Moka Miyamoto to take on Arisuzu in a losing effort. However it was Miyamoto who took the fall instead of the newcomer. She enjoyed her first match but described how frustrated she felt when she was taken down to the mat because she has no ground game. Suzume was delighted to see how many fans showed up to watch the match and she’s also happy to have new friends. Arisu Endo joked that the match went by too fast for her to enjoy it.

During the show opening introductions, Sayuri Namba brought down KANNA and Chikage Kiba into the ring. They were the two other wrestlers who debuted in the same match with Yamashita and Nakajima in 2013 but both of their wrestling careers only lasted a few years. KANNA cried because she never expected to see TJPW to make it to this point and she thinks it will become the second launch of the company. Kiba said it was a miracle that the show went ahead without anyone having to pull out because of covid. Standing in Sumo Hall with somebody she debuted with felt like a dream come true for her. A voiceover for the show was recorded by another TJPW alumni, Azusa Takigawa.

The Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) performed some of their songs and announced will be holding an audition to find a new member! They are looking for girls who want to sing, dance and fight with them. Noa would like someone to do a death match with and who is also imposing enough to beat up Sanshiro Takagi. Raku said she grew up knowing nothing about pro wrestling yet it changed her life 180 degrees and she is now here standing in the middle of Sumo Hall. Watanabe said it also isn’t important if the applicants do not know anything about idols. She is looking forward to hearing from anyone interested to join.

Tokyo Joshi Pro will return to Ota Ward Gymnasium on 9th July for “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’22”.

A press conference was held between the wrestlers participating in the inter-promotional match between Tokyo Joshi Pro and Ganbare☆Pro. Both Nao Kakuta and Yuna Manase want their teams to put on an exciting match fitting for Sumo Hall. It is the first time Kakuta really feels like she is part of TJPW and she wants to show Manase she is not the same person she was back in Actwres girl’Z. The other members of Team TJPW shared their thoughts. Mahiro Kiryu is keeping her eyes open at the rest of Team Ganpro because she doesn’t know much about them. She does like mahjong though so she wants to win with a high score. Haruna Neko wants to do everything she can as a cat and will scratch everyone. Kaya Toribami admits to being the least experienced girl on the team but reminds everyone that her mask is based on the most ferocious bird in the world, the cassowary. She will learn from her opponents to become strong and deserving of wearing the mask.

The members of Ganbare☆Joshi then spoke. YuuRI is glad to wrestle in Sumo Hall where she discovered pro wrestling in the first place. HARUKAZE described how Ganpro picked her up and gave her friends so the company is an important family to her. She wants to make the name of Ganpro known to everyone. Moeka Haruhi called Manase the Sun of Ganpro while she is the Rainbow. When Manase challenged TJPW in the first place, everyone in Ganjo decided to join her. Just don’t miss the rainbow while you’re busy looking at the sun. Manase wanted her team to show more energy so they started chanting “Ganjo!” over and over. Kakuta told them the blue flame is hotter than the red flame which is why Team TJPW are staying calm in response to them. Manase then gave a passionate rant about wanting their match to have so much heat behind it. The conference ended with a fist bump between the team captains.

Two special guest ring announcers will be at the show. The “Anime Idol Chick” Minami Momochi was Tokyo Joshi’s ring announcer for the first four years of the promotion. Kero Tanaka is the famous ring announcer from the 1980s and 1990s who has worked with TJPW before at some of their previous Ittenyon shows. They will each announce one or two matches on the day.

Yesterday the celebrity couple of LiLiCo & Ryohei Odai were hard at work training with Akito for LiLiCo’s retirement match. Odai isn’t in shape and had trouble even stretching during the warmups. He then got back pain from running the ropes. Meanwhile LiLiCo had no trouble training for wrestling again and worked out how to move around the ring without putting stress on her injured knees. Akito then put together some double team moves with LiLiCo before setting up an extreme training exercise. He stripped down to his O-back and went into the Hell Gate position on the corner. He explained they need to get used to having their faces thrown into another person’s ass because that is what Pheromones like to do. Suddenly Pheromones themselves appeared and attacked Akito, stripping him naked! Odai couldn’t help because of his back pain and he collapsed with LiLiCo when they tried the double team attack they learned. Pheromones left after a confrontation with LiLiCo where they said they will see her at Sumo Hall. Akito told Odai to train his hips more while LiLiCo promised to win using the love between a husband and wife!

Takaiwa is trying to raise the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title‘s prestige up to the highest level in Japan and fighting somebody on the level on Tominaga will not help him. However he sees potential in the guy and if Tominaga can live up to that potential it may not be a waste of time after all.

The bond between Keisuke Ishii & Tyson Maeguchi has grown stronger after they fought each other. They want to continue wrestling together as tag partners and opponents so it looks like Wrestle Drunkers are here to stay!

Irie is booked for the show but it will depend on how quickly he recovers from covid. Nobuhiro Shimatani is also advertised to appear.

The champion team defeated the group of challengers when Maki Itoh submitted her Ryogoku opponent Yuki Arai. Itoh bragged about the champions all being strong and thanked The Magical Sugar Rabbits for being a nice assist today. She also thinks Miyu Yamashita’s recent training is paying off because their Saboten Diving Headbutt double team move worked today.

Yuka Sakazaki hopes everyone will go eat hamburger steak but Mizuki wants to crush Daydream to achieve world peace. Shoko Nakajima told Yamashita not to get carried away with today’s win because she will be at her strongest in Sumo Hall. Yamashita assured her she isn’t getting carried away and she will beat her.

Nodoka Tenma and Marika Kobashi will forever be connected with each other because they began training for wrestling around the same time, debuted on the same show and will be leaving wrestling within weeks of each other. Two special guest ring announcers are now advertised to appear at “GRAND PRINCESS ’22”. The first is Minami Momochi, the “anime idol” who was TJPW’s ring announcer from 2013 to the start of 2017. The second guest is Kero Tanaka, the famous ring announcer from New Japan in the 80’s and 90’s. He made guest appearances for TJPW before and was recently in the news for having a miraculous recovery from covid.

joshi17-lastride

For the second year in a row Tokyo Joshi Pro was in Korakuen Hall for a big show held on 4th January. One year ago, Yuu had her debut pro wrestling match with the group. Today she was defending the TOKYO Princess Of Princess Championship in the main event. Her opponent Shoko Nakajima was part of last year’s main event too fighting to be the first champion. Unfortunately for her she was defeated again. Yuu unexpectedly used a Last Ride Power Bomb, in tribute to the late Koichiro Kimura apparently, putting Nakajima away. Yuu is looking forward to defending the title many more times and she didn’t have to wait long for a new challenger to appear. Reika Saiki approached her in the ring to congratulate Yuu. Saiki called herself muscular, healthy and motivated so how about a title shot? Yuu accepted the challenge. She’s defending the belt but she’s going to treat the championship like it is hers to win!

joshi17-akai-martha

Fresh back from Paris, Saki Akai returned to Tokyo Joshi and this time she was accompanied by her faithful maid Martha. Miyu Yamashita did the polite thing and greeted Martha but it was clear she didn’t trust her. She was proven right to do so when Martha distracted the referee while Akai was in a Camel Clutch. Yamashita broke it to go after Martha but when she turned back Akai was there to do a Big Boot. Yamashita ducked and Martha took the boot to the face instead. Yamashita hit the Attitude Adjustment but only got a two count. Akai dodged the Crash Rabbit Heat and got the pin with the Two Step Face Kick. Akai played it off like the result was no big deal. She offered to help lift Yamashita back up to her feet but then she kicked her again. She told Tetsuya Koda to contact her later about appearing in a match on 21st January. She would like to team up with Martha for that match so Koda better go looking for their opponents.

joshi17-clown-candice

Mil Clown defeated the returning Candice LeRae, avenging her twin sister’s loss to the Canadian one year ago. At one point LeRae fought dirty by pushing Daisuke Kiso into the ropes to knock Clown off of the top turnbuckle. However Clown recovered and caught LeRae in the Mil Clutch α for the flash pin.

joshi17-towerbridge

Cheer♡1 and LinQ performed together after Match #2 but two of their members wrestled each other later in the show. Maki Itoh kicked Reika Saiki as often as she could but a Headbutt from Saiki slowed her down. Itoh kept trying to fight back until she was locked into the Tower Bridge and had to submit. Itoh was happy to wrestle in Korakuen Hall despite only having her debut match three weeks ago. She hopes pro wrestling will bring in more fans over to her idol career with LinQ. The group is going to reshuffle its members in June and she doesn’t want to get fired!

joshi17-wives

Love was in the air for Match #3. Joey Ryan & Laura James kissed each other and wished everyone a happy new year during their entrance. Then Inoue Mic & Ai Shimizu did the same. Ryan was there to be the referee and ring announcer Mic introduced Shimizu as his “beloved and unbelievably cute wife”. Their opponents Azusa Takigawa & Nonoko came armed with the premium New Year issue of Zexy Magazine. Ryan was biased towards his wife’s team but Nonoko did her best to seduce him during the match. When Takigawa was ready to use her magazine as a weapon both husbands ran to protect their wives. During the confusion Takigawa accidentally knocked out Nonoko with the magazine, Ryan put his lollipop into Takigawa’s mouth and Shimizu pinned her with the Fishergirl Suplex.

joshi17-momochi

Match #2 was changed from a Tag Team bout to a 3 Way Match when Akane Miura caught the flu and was taken off the show. The match also served as ring announcer Minami Momochi’s graduation from Tokyo Joshi. She received streamers from the crowd during the announcements. She also got involved in the match, helping Hyper Misao fight the demonic Maho Kurone. Momochi gave Kurone a Neckbreaker Drop and Misao then hit the I Am A Hero. However Rika Tatsumi took over the match and won when she put Kurone in the Dragon Sleeper.

joshi17-nodoka-cherry

Before Nodoka-oneesan took on her mentor Cherry in the opener, she invited Momochi to participate in Ping Pong Exercises with her one more time. When that was done Cherry came down but she did not want to go through the pre-match formalities. After the match though she embraced Nodoka and supported her for putting up a good fight.

1. Akane Miura defeated Nodoka-oneesan with the Lariat (5:24).
2. I Also Want To Be In Love! This Year’s Christmas Will Also Be Special!: Rika Tatsumi & Hyper Misao defeated Azusa Takigawa & Nonoko when Tatsumi submitted Takigawa with the Zexy Dragon Sleeper (11:48).
3. Reika Saiki defeated Maho Kurone with the Tower Bridge (6:06).
4. ROAD TO “Ittenon” Special Tag Match: Yuu & Miyu Yamashita vs Shoko Nakajima & Mil Clown ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).

In a first for Tokyo Joshi Pro, the main event ended in a time limit draw. In the final seconds Yuu tried to put Shoko Nakajima in the Cross Armbreaker but could not sync it in when the time expired. Nakajima noted that she must be doing something wrong since she couldn’t win the match. Yuu told her she is looking forward to their match at Korakuen Hall on 4th January.

Saki Akai appeared after the main event to confront Miyu Yamashita. She told “Ms. Pelican” that they will have a match together at Korakuen. Akai wants to know how much Yamashita has changed since their last singles match. She also asked her to wash her face before the match. Yamashita said she will slash Akai down.

Maho Kurone is becoming more zombie like in her appearances. This time she entered the ring carrying a severed arm to chew on. Maki Itoh watched her future opponent Reika Saiki beat Kurone by submission.

Azusa Takigawa is building more and more of her matches around copies of Zexy magazine. She put a stack of issues together to use as a foreign object but that backfired when she hit Nonoko by mistake. She still held the magazine neatly in her arms when she tapped out to Rika Tatsumi’s Dragon Sleeper. Hyper Misao asked Tatsumi after the match to help her fight Akane Miura & Maho Kurone at Korakuen Hall. Misao called her opponents scary because one of them eats human meat and the other practised devil worship for a while. She also asked ring announcer Minami Momochi to help her preserve the peace in Tokyo Joshi as a special assistant. Konkatsu-gun’s plan for 4th January is to face Ai Shimizu & Laura James. It’s a battle between married women against women who want to get married!

5. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Yuu (c) defeated Rika Tatsumi with the Katahajime (15:15).
*V1 for Yuu.

Yuu’s first defence of the TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title was successful but proved to be more of a challenge than she thought. Rika Tatsumi had only begun to win matches consistently in the last couple of months, leading to her getting a crack at the title. However she came prepared with her own focus on submissions to combat Yuu’s judo ability. While Tatsumi threw some Hip Attacks to knock back Yuu, she also targeted her leg with Dropkicks and Dragon Screws so she could apply an effective Figure Four Leg Lock. Yuu resisted this and applied the Katahajime for the submission victory. Yuu said she was really happy with the match because it brings her one step closer to defending the title on 4th January, the one year anniversary of her debut match.

Miyu Yamashita defeated Marika Kobashi in Kobashi’s final match for the time being. Kobashi will now prepare for her high school entry exams. Yamashita said she originally thought Kobashi was too young when she first began training due to how tough it is. However she was proven wrong and she is happy to be part of Kobashi’s send off. She then advised Kobashi to concentrate on her exams because they are terribly hard. Kobashi hopes to return if she passes the exams.

There’s been a theme running through all of the DDT family throughout 2016 and it is marriage. A lot of wrestlers and staff members have been getting married or at least engaged this year. Azusa Takigawa has noticed this and also noticed the wrestlers who have gotten married have also become stronger as a result. She interrupted the opening speeches so she could plead with the Genral Manager Tetsuya Koda to drop the “No relationships” rule from Tokyo Joshi Pro. Takigawa wants to go out matchmaking so she can find a husband, get married and become stronger! Koda told her now wasn’t the time to talk about this. Later when Takigawa had her match with Nonoko, Takigawa was put in a Scorpion Deathlock. Instead of reaching for the ropes Takigawa instead reached for a microphone so she could again plead to Koda to drop the “no relationships” rule while she was in the Scorpion Deathlock! After the match Nonoko was impressed by Takigawa’s passion. Not for wrestling but for finding a husband. Nonoko said she was a teenager until just recently (yeah right!) and she never imagined wanting to go matchmaking at Takigawa’s age. She wants to help Takigawa and offered to team with her in the ring. Takigawa accepted, together they will find the truth of love!

Maki Itoh from the idol group LinQ announced she will be wrestling for DDT on 11th December and after that will debut for Tokyo Joshi on 4th January. She is thrilled by her plans to do both idol work and wrestling. She also said she has great respect for Danshoku Dino. It was then revealed that Itoh’s opponent on 4th January will by Miyu Yamashita. According to Yamashita she has been keeping a close eye on Itoh’s training ever since it began back in July. She noticed Itoh has been working very hard so she is happy to be her first opponent in Tokyo Joshi. She asked Itoh to come at her at full force when they wrestle.

The literal doll faced ring announcer and “World’s First Animated Idol Chick” Minami Momochi recently revealed she will be graduating from Tokyo Joshi Pro on 4th January next year. She said over the last three and a half years she watched Tokyo Joshi and their wrestlers grow. She feels now is the time for herself to move on if she too wants to advance.

Sanshiro Takagi appeared at the end of the show to announce that all four members of the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster will make their official pro wrestling debut in a dark match at DDT’s 17/8 Sumo Hall show.

Anime Idol Chick Minami Momochi (an idol who wears a big creepy anime doll mask over her head) approached Takagi and kindly asked him if she could do anything to help Tokyo Joshi Pro. Takagi decided that she will be the new ring announcer for the brand and her first day begins at Sumo Hall.
